- 0:04Let's talk. Welcome.
- 0:06Back weirdos. I love that we've called the
- 0:10weirdos now. Hey, welcome to our two gems.
- 0:14I'm Danielle Nicki. I'm Trinity Grace.
- 0:17Today we're going to talk about transitioning as women.
- 0:22The. Topic Oh my God, all the
- 0:23different transitions that we go through.
- 0:25Yeah, because there's so many and I don't appreciate that
- 0:28there's so many. Like, why can't it just be
- 0:29linear? Not only.
- 0:32Can it just be linear? Can they not overlap that part?
- 0:36Because that's what I'm pissed off about.
- 0:40That part. Oh my God.
- 0:43I mean, I'll start. Please do please.
- 0:45Do because I have a rant about puberty but I'll get to that
- 0:48eventually. Oh well, I have a rant about
- 0:50perimenopause. Please, please.
- 0:54So I'm at the age where my body has decided that we are thinking
- 0:58about not being able to produce any more children, right?
- 1:01Great. Love that for me.
- 1:02Wonderful, right? But also I still have a period.
- 1:06Which isn't fair. I feel like it should link up.
- 1:09If we're done, we're done. We are.
- 1:11Done. It's like I'm pulling into the
- 1:13train station and they're like making the announcements, but
- 1:17the train station is still five years away.
- 1:19Yeah, No, I, I need an agreement.
- 1:23We are done. If we are done, we are done.
- 1:26We are done. No need a hemorrhage.
- 1:28We're good. We are done.
- 1:30I have both a fan underneath this desk so I don't sweat to
- 1:34death. That part.
- 1:36And I have cramps at the same time and it just feels like
- 1:42bullshit. Yeah, like who decided?
- 1:47I I think it there's a there's a flaw in the system.
- 1:50Yeah, I need someone to blame like I need a name.
- 1:53You know what, I like this. I like this because I'm kind of
- 1:55in a pissy mood right now. And it would really help if I
- 1:58had somebody to blame and I could just call them up and be
- 2:00like, bro, look, you did this wrong.
- 2:03There's some wires that got crossed, right?
- 2:05Because we deal with drama and craziness almost from the
- 2:09beginning of our lives. And then we get to the end and
- 2:12it's like, oh, I'm almost done. And then they're like, no, you
- 2:16got to do these things together. One more hurdle, yeah.
- 2:19Your period is going to be the heaviest, the craziest, the most
- 2:22unreliable you've ever had in your life.
- 2:25You're not going to be able to sleep without sweating through
- 2:27your sheets and your clothes. You're not going to be able to
- 2:30exist in daily life without extra strength deodorant.
- 2:34OK, I'm on to. The extra.
- 2:38Strength. The regular strength wasn't
- 2:41enough. Regular strength.
- 2:42I thought I was funky. No, I needed the real strength,
- 2:46more upper level strength for the Queens.
- 2:51The Queens need extra strength. Deodorant.
- 2:52I love that. And then it's just like you're
- 2:54going through all these crazy things.
- 2:56But my biggest rant is all of the side effects of being in
- 3:02Perryman, and I'm going to take a little aside.
- 3:06I've decided I'm going to call it Perryman because it makes me
- 3:09happier to be pissed off when the word man is in it.
- 3:14Oh my goodness. Which brings me back to the
- 3:17name. I feel like we should just call
- 3:19this entity George. So, George, I hate you, George.
- 3:23I hate you for puberty. I hate you for menopause.
- 3:26I hate you for the periods. I hate you for the mood swings.
- 3:29I hate you for the cramps. I hate you for all of that.
- 3:31So, George. Fuck off, George, we're going to
- 3:34call. Him.
- 3:34George. I love this George.
- 3:36All right, George is a terrorist and he hops on a woman's back
- 3:44when she is a child and he does not fall off until she's like
- 3:4865. Yeah, but the unfair part is
- 3:51that George will fluctuate his weight depending on which woman.
- 3:56See, I used to have a 60 LB George on my back, but now I
- 3:58feel like I got a 200 LB George he on my back.
- 4:03I don't like to that. Tell me.
- 4:05I my periods never used to be this bad.
- 4:08Now I'm hurting every week and now I'm fresh in it.
- 4:12It's not like I've been doing this for more than a decade.
- 4:14I haven't, but I'm done. You're like I want it.
- 4:18Take it. Why do I need it True, you know,
- 4:22cuz no, no. And also I feel like if you make
- 4:25a decision internally and say do I want kids?
- 4:28Do I not want kids that should establish whether or not the
- 4:31period. Should keep going.
- 4:32Yes. And we should be able to kill
- 4:34George after you've had children.
- 4:35Exactly. George 3 go.
- 4:37OK, I've contributed to society. Right.
- 4:40I'm done. George can move on to the next
- 4:42victim. Oh my.
- 4:43Gosh, the next one, yes, thank you.
- 4:45So George, bye. But no, George said I'm a stay
- 4:49and you know what I'm a eat and I'm a gain weight and I'm a
- 4:51still be on your back and I'm like God.
- 4:54He doesn't know what he wants to do.
- 4:57Yeah, yeah. Oh no, he has no purpose in life
- 5:00other than to torment you. So George.
- 5:03George. I'm coming for you.
- 5:06Yes, I like that we named him George.
- 5:07Yeah, George is fitting, right? He, he sounds annoying.
- 5:12He sounds like he gets on your last nerve, right?
- 5:14Yes. Yes, he sounds like he just
- 5:17doesn't take no for an answer. That part.
- 5:19So George, you're on. You're on my list, but please
- 5:23continue. So, OK, well for, for mine, I, I
- 5:28really am frustrated with the fact that I can't tell what is
- 5:32going to happen to my body because there's not a whole lot
- 5:35of research that's done on women's healthcare period.
- 5:40So I was having these weird heart things that was going on
- 5:44with me, like I'm laying down and my heart is just like boom,
- 5:48out of my chest. And I'm like, what is this?
- 5:51And then thank goodness for people like Halle Berry and
- 5:54Oprah Winfrey who have gone on in public and said, hey, I
- 5:58thought I was having a heart attack and I'm going to the
- 6:01emergency room, I'm going to the doctor's.
- 6:02But turns out that heart palpitations are a side effect
- 6:06of being in Perry, man. But the turns out is crazy like
- 6:10that information isn't readily available for us.
- 6:12Exactly. I mean, you could Google and you
- 6:14can look at all these different things.
- 6:16There's so many weird side effects.
- 6:18Don't look. At Google, because Google's
- 6:19going to tell you you're dying, Doctor.
- 6:21Google told me I was dying. I was.
- 6:22Dying. Especially with.
- 6:24The AI too, they're like, in short words, you're dead.
- 6:28Like now searched. In short, you're gone.
- 6:31Like, I don't even know why you're here anymore, right?
- 6:35But it's not talked about. And so I really appreciate the
- 6:38women who are just older than me who are, have been going through
- 6:41this for a while and have decided that they're going to be
- 6:43open and talk about this because a lot of things just aren't
- 6:47spoken about. And so you have somebody like me
- 6:48that literally a year, a year and a half ago, I was always
- 6:52cold. And now the thought of putting
- 6:55on socks makes me want to scream.
- 6:58Because the switch up is crazy. It's going to.
- 6:59Warm me up too much and my poor husband.
- 7:03We're in bed and I'm in like AT shirt with the with the sheet
- 7:06and he's got a hoodie on because I've got the fan, the air
- 7:09conditioner, I got everything on and the thinnest blanket period.
- 7:13Like you're not. Hot.
- 7:13I'm hot. Yeah, I'm so hot, so hot, and
- 7:15I'm just a heater, can't touch my skin.
- 7:17I'm so hot. And it just happened like that.
- 7:20But I wouldn't be so upset if George only stayed around for
- 7:24like a year, right? But no, I am just at the if
- 7:28there's a hill, I'm at the bottom.
- 7:30No. Yeah.
- 7:32Wait, so how long? It could after up to 10.
- 7:34Years No see no, no, I'm just saying no because that's stupid.
- 7:41It's. Dumb.
- 7:41And there's nothing you could do about it.
- 7:44I mean, there's things that you can do to lessen things, but
- 7:46it's just like, can I just do it?
- 7:48Can I just? Be done, done.
- 7:49Why is it got to be a marathon? I'm a Sprint type of person.
- 7:53Like, let's, let's go. Let's just Sprint there.
- 7:55You know who? Do I call?
- 7:57Like we said, we need somebody to blame.
- 7:58I know I also want to submit a proposal.
- 8:00Oh please, that it only lasts a year.
- 8:03Absolutely. Because I mean, minimum five
- 8:05years. That just sounds like bullshit.
- 8:07I'm going to say it again. It's just like in a.
- 8:08Minute Five years. What?
- 8:10Yeah. No, that doesn't seem worth it.
- 8:11Five years of this. Two what for what?
- 8:15Reason I had to really have make a game time decision on wearing
- 8:18sleeves today because I was just like I don't know I'm kind of
- 8:20hot my. Game time decision.
- 8:22I'm kind of hot. Real everything, every decision
- 8:29now wraps around George. It wraps around pair of men
- 8:31because I'm just like, am I going to be hot in this?
- 8:34Right. It's freezing outside, but you
- 8:36know what? I'm kind of hot, so I'm just
- 8:37going to bring a jacket and I don't want to wear it.
- 8:39Things feel weird on my skin, really.
- 8:42Food tastes weird. My skin like that's another
- 8:46thing. Why am I having breakouts?
- 8:49Why no? Can we not?
- 8:51That should be like a 25 years and younger thing.
- 8:56Max right? Like why are you?
- 8:57Still here a pimple? You don't belong here.
- 9:00Go torment a 13 year old like. A pimple like a like a range of
- 9:05them. Yeah, Yeah.
- 9:08So I mean, I'm gonna, I'm getting hot just talking about
- 9:10this, so I want to talk about you.
- 9:12Than you already are OK. I'm getting even more hot.
- 9:16I need to cool down is. That possible?
- 9:19Like seriously, I can feel the heat rising in my skin.
- 9:22George is on you right now. I'm just gonna shoot him.
- 9:28I can't. But George.
- 9:29Man, have you? Ever been that hot?
- 9:31No, I'm always cold. See, and that used to be me.
- 9:35I used to be cold all the time, but do you remember like
- 9:40puberty? Do you remember what it felt
- 9:41like to go through? That yes and I hate her.
- 9:46I hate 1312 year old me like every time I think about her I
- 9:51like I hate her. She was the worst and she
- 9:54tormented my parents all the time.
- 9:57It was so evil. And every time I think about it,
- 9:59I'm like, you were evil, Like George was puppeting me, like it
- 10:04was horrible. And I've always been cold,
- 10:08honestly for the longest time. So that was in addition, my
- 10:11emotions were on an all time high.
- 10:14Luckily my parents were that bad back then.
- 10:16The cramps weren't that bad. It was just like my emotions.
- 10:18Yeah. It was the craziest roller
- 10:20coaster ever. I do remember that.
- 10:22It's like a drop. It's not even like this.
- 10:24It was like up, down, up, down. It's crazy.
- 10:27And you can't say anything to me because I'd go in my room and I
- 10:31cry for like 2 hours. And I know you remember that.
- 10:34Not only do I remember it, I was like, maybe something's going
- 10:38on. It wasn't even like depression
- 10:41or anything, it was just I'm emotional so I'm going to wallow
- 10:44in my feelings for two. Hours and two, I've never seen
- 10:47someone cry for two hours straight.
- 10:48Like to keep. It going did that I know I was
- 10:51dried out like eyes puffy every day.
- 10:56It is what it is, but that you had no control over that.
- 10:58And that's what I think is unfair because from the start,
- 11:03it's just like somebody took over your life.
- 11:05Like you can see the way I like to describe it is like you can
- 11:08see yourself making these decisions.
- 11:11You're like, don't say that, but then you say.
- 11:15It say it anyway. Like you can't stop yourself
- 11:17from saying. It's like you're watching
- 11:18yourself be out of control. A slow motion car crash, for
- 11:21sure. It's not fair.
- 11:24It's not fair at all. But when you're out of it, it's
- 11:26like the sky is clear. You know, your decisions are
- 11:32much better, You know, it's just horrible.
- 11:36And I feel like honestly, for everyone, don't hold them
- 11:40accountable for that time, anyone, unless they did
- 11:43something like ridiculous. But we're all just going through
- 11:46it. The chemical changes are.
- 11:48Crazy. And I'm glad you brought that up
- 11:50because it is chemical. Like we have no control over
- 11:54this. Like some people.
- 11:54Yeah, you can lean in. You know, you can.
- 11:57You can totally lean in and be like, you know what?
- 11:59I like this. I like George, me and George are
- 12:01hanging out. We're just going to we're just
- 12:03going to be no right. But there's some things that you
- 12:06literally can't control. And I saw a video the other day
- 12:13where this guy was like, you have cramps, you have your
- 12:17period week, and then you have like post week cramps and post
- 12:20week issues. And he's like, so you only have
- 12:21one week a month where you feel normal.
- 12:24And everyone was like, yeah, yeah, that's normal.
- 12:27And I don't think people who don't menstruate can understand
- 12:33how how how it feels because not only do you go through all those
- 12:36things, you still have to go to. Work definitely you still.
- 12:38Have to raise children. You still have to, you know,
- 12:40keep your house. And you have to try not to
- 12:43isolate yourself against everybody else because all the
- 12:46women are going through it at different times.
- 12:48So your best friend or your child or your mother could be on
- 12:50Week 2 and you on Week 4. You're in the hot week.
- 12:52Yeah, You know, don't talk to me.
- 12:54Yes. So it's it's it's just say like
- 12:57give people grace definitely because we are all going through
- 13:01through something that we literally.
- 13:02Can't control, can't control and we're trying our best and I kind
- 13:06of like to be controlled in a lot of situations, so it annoys
- 13:09me that we only have 12 weeks a year to be normal.
- 13:13When you put it like. That jeez.
- 13:16And over our lifetime, that's actually kind of crazy.
- 13:20Then that makes me feel like the other stuff is actually normal,
- 13:24you know, like living underneath this, this bubble of chemicals
- 13:30is the norm, right? And feeling perfectly good in
- 13:34your body, not being bloated, not being broken out, not food,
- 13:38doesn't taste weird. Everything is working for you
- 13:41like just 1/4 of your life. That's not fair.
- 13:45Do you even know who you are? Good question.
- 13:49You know, because I feel like I'm a different person every
- 13:52week. True.
- 13:53And that's not fair. And it's like, who is real me,
- 13:55you know? Exactly.
- 13:57And you were saying your periods weren't bad when you were young.
- 13:59So I remember that you would never ask for any medication or
- 14:02anything. And you were just like, I'm
- 14:05great. I was.
- 14:05Like if this is what periods are, I can do this for the rest
- 14:08of my life two years later. I have always had heavy and
- 14:18cramp, like really bad cramps. And so, you know, I don't know
- 14:21if they still do this, but I was put on birth control early
- 14:24because it helped with the cramps and made it because they
- 14:28were kind of debilitating. Like, you know, you're just,
- 14:29like hunched over and you can't, you know, do anything really.
- 14:33Yeah. And so I remember it just being
- 14:35bad from the start. And then after I had children,
- 14:38it just started doing this like I from month to month, no idea
- 14:42what's going to happen. When is it going to show up?
- 14:44Am I going to get cramps? Am I not going to get cramps?
- 14:46I don't know. And it's still like that.
- 14:49I just don't know. We'll just see.
- 14:50We'll see. We'll play it by ear.
- 14:52I don't like that because we should have a schedule here,
- 14:55right? They're like, no, it'll be 28
- 14:57days here, 34 days here. Oh my.
- 15:01God it. Oh my gosh, it's not fair.
- 15:04It really is. It is so, so not fair.
- 15:07And I'm more heated now because like, I got a problem.
- 15:11Why did it get worse? And that's the thing, there's
- 15:14no, it's not like something you did or didn't do or something
- 15:17you can do about it. It's just how your body is
- 15:19reacting to these chemicals and what's going on within yourself.
- 15:24I. Don't even know.
- 15:26I don't even know. It was crazy.
- 15:28I just grew up and then all of a sudden the acne got worse and it
- 15:31just and I was like you. See.
- 15:33That's why they're. Right.
- 15:34It's not good to grow up. Stay young as long as you can,
- 15:37people. Stay young.
- 15:39Yes. Because it don't get better.
- 15:40Don't. Get Oh my God, like what is?
- 15:43Better literally from. You got to pay bills.
- 15:48It was horrendous. It was horrendous.
- 15:49Like in my closet in like a ball because it was that bad.
- 15:54Like it was Oh my God, it was horrible.
- 15:57And I was like, I don't remember this.
- 15:59I could have sworn when I was 13 it wasn't this bad.
- 16:03And I'm just like. It wasn't.
- 16:05It really wasn't. I know, George, you can kick
- 16:09rocks, honestly. George and.
- 16:11Get off of my back. That's what I'm saying, like,
- 16:14and so, you know, it's like there's puberty and there's when
- 16:17you grow up, when you become an adult and your body's like, OK,
- 16:19I'm going to settle into this, this is who I am.
- 16:22And then you have children, right?
- 16:24And then the whole children part is it just throws everything all
- 16:27out of whack. And then you go through
- 16:30perimenopause for however long. And then for women that I've
- 16:34spoke through, who have gone through menopause and they're
- 16:36done, they say that's when they feel the most, the best they've
- 16:40ever felt in their life. And I'm like, are you telling me
- 16:45that I have to wait until I'm 60 years old before I feel like a
- 16:48good, like a like a whole person, a whole person?
- 16:51I ain't got that much time. What say say I kick it at 80?
- 16:59I have to wait until I AM 60 to get that.
- 17:04Life, right? Who says that's fair?
- 17:07No, I mean, there's no fairness in this.
- 17:10George. I could strangle you, George.
- 17:13But it makes me wonder, OK, so I did mention how there's not a
- 17:16lot known about women's bodies and our healthcare.
- 17:20And that is a fact because I mean, take the the like period
- 17:25products, they weren't tested on actual menstrual blood.
- 17:29They were tested on dyed water. Seriously.
- 17:33Yeah. And so the absorbency is
- 17:36incorrect because water and blood are totally different.
- 17:39And also blood that comes out of here and blood that comes out of
- 17:41some other place is different. And so it took them until just
- 17:45recently to be like, hey, maybe we should test it with the
- 17:49actual thing it's being used on. And that's just a small example.
- 17:53I mean, hip replacements, knee replacements, all of those
- 17:55things were the, the, the science that they have is based
- 17:59off of male hips, knees, male bodies.
- 18:03And so there's very little about our healthcare that they know
- 18:07about. And so it makes me wonder, is
- 18:10there something they could be doing about this?
- 18:12100% I believe that in my his soul.
- 18:15But if they just spend the time and the money figuring it out,
- 18:18it's a priority. To them it's not.
- 18:21Who's them? You know who them is?
- 18:24George's friends. George and his colleagues don't
- 18:30think that it's a big deal. It's fine.
- 18:34It is. They just want to rest on our
- 18:35backs and then we'll suffer and it's fine.
- 18:37Oh my God. So like, let's just, let's just
- 18:40do a little bit more research for ladies bodies.
- 18:44I mean, OK, so let's let me talk to y'all for a second.
- 18:47You know, the the vase, OK, You have to deal with women having
- 18:53these issues for 2 1/2 weeks, a year, three weeks, I mean a
- 18:56month. And so wouldn't you like to have
- 18:59a easier life? The scientists out there, you
- 19:02know what I'm saying? Wouldn't you want to find a
- 19:04solution right? Because I'm overreacting too
- 19:07much. Right.
- 19:08I'm emotional right now. Too much.
- 19:10So if you don't want to deal with my emotions, find a
- 19:13solution for my emotions. Sounds right to me.
- 19:17Please and thank you. I expect this solution by next
- 19:21month. Thank you.
- 19:23Yeah, let's get on that. Thank you.
- 19:28Yeah, it's just so unfair. And I just don't like how we
- 19:33have to deal with this on top of everything else that life throws
- 19:36at you and how it's always taught a young age.
- 19:40You're like, OK, so this is what's going to happen.
- 19:43This is how you're probably going to feel.
- 19:45But there's no way of predicting how bad it might be for one girl
- 19:48or another. Or if you're shocked and this
- 19:51girl at nine years old gets hers.
- 19:54Had a. Friend.
- 19:55Who? Her parents didn't even talk to
- 19:56her yet because they're like, oh, we got like.
- 19:57Four years. Worth.
- 20:00You know, all these things that we have to deal with or if you
- 20:04start growing weird, like if your boobs grow weird and you
- 20:06have to get like surgery or if anything going on with your
- 20:10uterus is going wrong. It's just like all of these
- 20:14extra complicated situations on top of our normal healthcare
- 20:19like dental and you know. Yeah, which why is it separate?
- 20:24Good point. Yeah, very, very good.
- 20:26Why do I have to pay for medical, dental and vision?
- 20:29It's all of my body. Like let's just have body.
- 20:32Insurance. Body insurance.
- 20:34How about that? That should be.
- 20:35Cheaper anyway. Go ahead, continue.
- 20:37Sorry. But yeah, it's just like it's,
- 20:40it's adding up. It is stacking up absolutely.
- 20:43And it's starting to get really, like, intimidating.
- 20:46So just seeing what's in front of you, like what you have to
- 20:48deal with. Yo, the point is it worth it?
- 20:53All of it, all these questions, you know, especially me as a
- 20:57Gen. Zier, my generation, we're
- 21:00starting to question everything, you know, everything that's
- 21:04normal about society. Like, why is that normal?
- 21:06Why are we dealing with that? Why shouldn't it be this way?
- 21:09And a lot of us not going to college and a lot of us not
- 21:12doing these things, and we're just like, why is healthcare not
- 21:16free, right? Why is women's healthcare not
- 21:20considered healthcare? You know, just these questions
- 21:24that we're asking. And I just cannot wait until we
- 21:27get into positions of power and we start doing it our way.
- 21:31You know, I really love that because you all came in here
- 21:35asking questions. I remember I sat you and your
- 21:37sister down and I explained what you know is to come with your
- 21:41period and you're going to have to see a gynecologist one day.
- 21:45And I do you remember this conversation?
- 21:46I do. And when I explained what a
- 21:48gynecologist was, I was telling her about a pap smear.
- 21:59And this girl was like, what, do they knock you out for it?
- 22:09She was like, absolutely not. I'm not.
- 22:11They're not doing that to me. Absolutely not.
- 22:16Absolutely not. It seems ridiculous, right?
- 22:18It does. And then your first question was
- 22:21what do the boys have to do? And So what I'm saying is like,
- 22:26I didn't ask those questions when I was young.
- 22:28You know, it's like I waited for conversations to be had.
- 22:31But you are asking these questions.
- 22:33You guys are saying, well, where's the there's a disparity
- 22:36between genders and with what one gender gets and what another
- 22:41gender gets, what other races get and all this.
- 22:43So you guys are asking these questions and you're pushing
- 22:45back. And so I have a lot of hope for
- 22:47what's going on with like the next level of leaders that are
- 22:50coming up from your generation because y'all are kind of
- 22:54fighters. Absolutely.
- 22:55And I dig that. It takes that.
- 22:57Raised by a certain generation that were also fighters, and it
- 23:01just seems normal. And there's always a moment in
- 23:04time over and over and over again when you see this crazy
- 23:08friction within a society and then a big change happens and
- 23:12we're sort of seeing that and the generation that's kind of of
- 23:16age right now is mine. So we might be that big change
- 23:20and I'm very excited to see where this goes.
- 23:22Yes, you. Know, and you maybe encourage
- 23:24other people to do so because, you know, we've, I think we've
- 23:28talked about on the show, there's different ways that
- 23:31things were accepted in the past.
- 23:33And there was, you know, my mom's generation, my
- 23:36grandmother's generation, and then mine.
- 23:38And you are allowed to evolve and you're allowed to change,
- 23:42right? If you know better, you do
- 23:43better. And so I try not to hold things
- 23:45against people from, you know, it's like there were certain
- 23:48things we were saying in the 90s and I'm like, whoa, right, Can't
- 23:50believe we said that. But now we know better and we
- 23:52don't say that anymore. Exactly.
- 23:53And so influencing older generations to to fight and to
- 23:59just stand behind the people who are trying to make change.
- 24:03And what I'm seeing is that there's not a whole lot of
- 24:05people that are like, well, I didn't have it.
- 24:07So you don't have to. You know, it's not really
- 24:09necessary. They're like, yeah, hell yeah.
- 24:11My gosh, of course you should have it.
- 24:12Why didn't? We have it exactly.
- 24:15You know, certain women who certain women, women who
- 24:18couldn't have bank accounts and a credit card.
- 24:21And, you know, there was a lot of financial abuse that was
- 24:24happening and people having to stay in relationships and
- 24:26marriages because they could not leave.
- 24:29And yeah, I see, I see a lot of grandmothers telling their
- 24:32granddaughters never get married and make sure you always have
- 24:36your own money and make sure this.
- 24:37And so I feel like it's always been there.
- 24:40It's just there was certain voices that were stamped out and
- 24:44that couldn't be heard. And so now just seeing how vocal
- 24:47everybody is allowed to be. Yeah, it's really great.
- 24:50And we're fostering that. It's OK to speak out, it's OK to
- 24:53be different. And I really do like that too.
- 24:56Yeah, like you see. All of these people of
- 24:59different, I don't know, different races, different
- 25:03genders, different ways of life, different ways how they grew up
- 25:06and they come together and they're all standing for the
- 25:08same purpose. And it doesn't matter, you know,
- 25:10as long as you honestly respect yourself and respect someone
- 25:15else's life as well. Exactly.
- 25:17Like no one's asking you to like, force and think the same
- 25:20way that I do. But appreciating you and your
- 25:23life that you want to live is the base.
- 25:25Right. I mean, it's equality, just
- 25:27letting you are allowed to have your opinions and everything
- 25:31like that. Nobody's saying that you're
- 25:32going to get arrested or, or, or killed because of your opinions,
- 25:35but it's like, I think baseline healthcare, you know, Yeah.
- 25:41Like just the the right to live peacefully.
- 25:44I. Mean these are the basic.
- 25:46Things basically human rights, yeah.
- 25:48And I just like that there's so many voices out there fighting
- 25:51for that, for everybody, not just for for themselves.
- 25:54Exactly. I agree.
- 25:57Oh, look at that. So I started off in this
- 25:58conversation hot and a little pissy in the cow.
- 26:02Cooled down. Yeah, George is still hovering.
- 26:06You can feel him. But it's cool.
- 26:09It's cool. Yeah.
- 26:10I think as long as we turn George into like AI don't know a
- 26:14Mackenzie and then and maybe we can just have a cooler life.
- 26:19You know, I like deal with the Hanks.
- 26:22The updated version is Mackenzie.
- 26:25What's the first name saying that came to my head.
- 26:27I'm not even going to lie to you.
- 26:28I don't know why. Who is Mackenzie?
- 26:30Hey, but Mackenzie, she's like that cool girl who's just going
- 26:34to let you do whatever you want to do.
- 26:35And she? Has a septum ring.
- 26:37She absolutely have this. Because we're cool people.
- 26:41OK, Very cool. She has.
- 26:42Piercings probably has like green or blue hair you know?
- 26:45Absolutely and just. Like you do you, girl.
- 26:47We love Mackenzie. We love Mackenzie, yes.
- 26:50So once we have more attention paid to women's healthcare, then
- 26:53George will become Mackenzie. Absolutely.
- 26:56But we love the transition, too, and we accept George for who
- 27:00they are. You know it's OK.
- 27:04Absolutely. If you want to be Mackenzie, be
- 27:07Mackenzie girl. Please be Mackenzie, be
- 27:10Mackenzie. I love that, I love that.
- 27:19Well, this was a fun conversation.
- 27:21It was because I think we need to get these have more of these
- 27:24conversations as women, because we are all suffering in silence
- 27:30is not great, no, and thinking that you are the only one
- 27:33dealing with this thing is not cool.
- 27:35And so just know every single woman, we're all dealing with
- 27:38these things. We're all suffering, yeah.
- 27:44And so it's OK to talk about it of.
- 27:46Course, of course it's OK to talk about.
- 27:48I mean, you should talk about it, you know, because feeling
- 27:51alone in your sadness and in your depression, it's not good.
- 27:55In your hurt, it's not good. It's good for community.
- 27:58It's like, OK, yeah, let's suffer together.
- 28:01But really, let's suffer together because, I mean, two
- 28:04people is better than one and five people is better than two.
- 28:06Like, come on. I got your heating pad.
- 28:08I've got your your, your blanket, your pillow.
- 28:11Let's watch some movies. We got salty food, period.
- 28:13We're ready, salty. Foods.
- 28:15Now you bring that up, I'm actually like a sweet person.
- 28:17Really. When I go.
- 28:18Sweet. Yeah, I go sweet, I go.
- 28:20Salty. I have to go sleep.
- 28:22And I'm like, where are all the chips?
- 28:25You know, I just. Yeah, like the saltiest.
- 28:27Chips. No, because salt tastes weird to
- 28:29me. Oh, that's what tastes weird to
- 28:31you. Sugar tastes weird to me.
- 28:32Really. See, now I'm curious, OK, how
- 28:36many of y'all go salty and how many of y'all go sweet?
- 28:38I'm very curious. Yeah, seriously and very.
- 28:40Do you have weird food things that go on and what is?
- 28:43That thing like what food makes you barf after all, right y'all?
- 28:49Thank you for coming and hanging out with us and we'll.
- 28:52See y'all soon, bye bye.
