- 0:13Speaker 1: Hello hello hello hello hello hello welcome to the naughty
- 0:17Speaker 1: but nice show i'm your host rob shooter it is
- 0:20Speaker 1: wednesday i'm back in new york i had a brilliant
- 0:22Speaker 1: 10 days in britain chasing around all those harry megan
- 0:26Speaker 1: stories all those catherine and william gossip so Thank you
- 0:30Speaker 1: so much to all those kind faces, people I got
- 0:33Speaker 1: to reconnect with in the UK. But now I'm back
- 0:36Speaker 1: in the US. Johnny is off today. He is travelling. Gosh,
- 0:39Speaker 1: bless him. I hope he's having a brilliant time. But
- 0:41Speaker 1: don't worry, naughties. We have a tonne of gossip to
- 0:44Speaker 1: get to. We have all the celebrity stories today. So
- 0:46Speaker 1: let's sit down. Or even if you're standing, you could
- 0:49Speaker 1: be walking, I suppose. You could be doing whatever you
- 0:52Speaker 1: want for the next 20 minutes. Let's have a little
- 0:55Speaker 1: bit of celebrity gossip. What time is it, my friends?
- 0:59Speaker 1: It is... Tea time. Oh, I love it when you
- 1:01Speaker 1: sing out loud. Okay, big story at the top of
- 1:03Speaker 1: the show. I broke this story first that George Clooney
- 1:06Speaker 1: is rallying behind his devastated best friend Randy Gerber and
- 1:11Speaker 1: Cindy Crawford after their son's death. George is rallying around
- 1:16Speaker 1: his longtime really best friend. George has a lot of
- 1:20Speaker 1: good friends, but Randy Gerber and George go back a
- 1:23Speaker 1: long way. So does Cindy Crawford. following the devastating death
- 1:28Speaker 1: of their 27-year-old son, Presley, sources tell me. So this
- 1:32Speaker 1: is really important here. Cindy and Randy are in a
- 1:36Speaker 1: really bad shape, a really bad place. This makes perfect sense.
- 1:41Speaker 1: I cannot imagine losing a child, a child that they
- 1:45Speaker 1: loved deeply, a child that they knew struggled. They worked really,
- 1:50Speaker 1: really hard. They never gave up. on Presley through all
- 1:54Speaker 1: his ups and downs, and there was more downs, unfortunately,
- 1:57Speaker 1: than ups. They were there. George knew this. In fact,
- 2:02Speaker 1: Presley called George Clooney Uncle George. That's what he called him.
- 2:07Speaker 1: He was Uncle George. And George would spend a lot
- 2:09Speaker 1: of time with Presley, my sources tell me. They were very,
- 2:12Speaker 1: very close. It wasn't a father-son relationship. It was more
- 2:15Speaker 1: like an uncle, Uncle George. But he did listen to him.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Sometimes it can be very difficult to to tell the
- 2:22Speaker 1: people you love the most, your parents, to tell them
- 2:25Speaker 1: what's going on, some of the things that are going
- 2:28Speaker 1: on in your life. It's often more helpful when you
- 2:32Speaker 1: have somebody else, somebody that you're not quite as close to,
- 2:36Speaker 1: like an uncle, like a therapist. He had therapists, he
- 2:39Speaker 1: had sober coaches, but my insiders tell me him and
- 2:42Speaker 1: George Presley and George had just the most special, special relationship.
- 2:48Speaker 1: George is devastated too. Let's be really clear. Friends of
- 2:51Speaker 1: George tell me he's absolutely gutted. He loved this young boy,
- 2:56Speaker 1: this young man. However, at the moment, his job is
- 3:01Speaker 1: not looking after his feelings, but looking after his friends.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Isn't that amazing? He dropped everything. Him and Amal, his
- 3:08Speaker 1: wife Amal, dropped everything. We spotted them in LA yesterday,
- 3:13Speaker 1: outside the home. They were there, undercover. They do not
- 3:16Speaker 1: want press. They do not want attention. They were spotted
- 3:19Speaker 1: driving there. They've been friends for decades. This isn't a
- 3:22Speaker 1: 10-minute friendship. It's decades. And it has survived a lot. Marriages, children, Hollywood,
- 3:27Speaker 1: that's hard to survive. And their billion-dollar Casamigos Kila brand.
- 3:33Speaker 1: So they were in business with one another, too. They
- 3:35Speaker 1: sold this brand for a billion dollars. So not just
- 3:38Speaker 1: in business, a massive business. A very successful, a wildly
- 3:43Speaker 1: profitable business. There were ups and There were downs. Ultimately,
- 3:46Speaker 1: the outcome was extraordinary. It made both men extraordinarily rich.
- 3:51Speaker 1: George made more money from tequila than he did from acting.
- 3:54Speaker 1: And they stayed friends through all of that. So marriages, children, business.
- 3:58Speaker 1: It's easy to fall out of friends. Fall out with
- 4:01Speaker 1: friends when you're in a business environment. And you say, oh, well,
- 4:05Speaker 1: everything went well here. So no wonder they were fine.
- 4:08Speaker 1: The end was great. The billion dollars was extraordinary. But
- 4:11Speaker 1: there were lots of struggles. Starting a new business. not
- 4:14Speaker 1: knowing if it's going to succeed, if it's going to fail.
- 4:16Speaker 1: It's very, very stressful. These two guys, these two men
- 4:21Speaker 1: navigated that together. But now, now is a more. It's
- 4:25Speaker 1: really the most heartbreaking chapter of their friendship. Nothing they've
- 4:29Speaker 1: gone through, and they've gone through a lot, can compare
- 4:31Speaker 1: to what is happening now. Sources tell me, quote, George
- 4:35Speaker 1: is devastated for them. Randy isn't just a business partner.
- 4:39Speaker 1: He's family. And George has made it clear that he
- 4:42Speaker 1: is available day or night. Amal is also supporting Cindy Crawford.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Sources say they're not trying to fix the unfixable. They
- 4:50Speaker 1: know that you can't bring Presley back. They're simply showing up.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Isn't that a beautiful expression? Showing up. I often, I
- 5:00Speaker 1: often cannot fix big problems. We've all been in those positions.
- 5:04Speaker 1: I wish I had a magic wand to make my friends,
- 5:08Speaker 1: my family's pain go away. You don't. However, what secret
- 5:12Speaker 1: power you do have is showing up. Just show up.
- 5:18Speaker 1: It makes an effort. It takes an effort. But if
- 5:21Speaker 1: you show up, that is the most generous, the kindest,
- 5:26Speaker 1: the most decent thing you can do. Not just in
- 5:29Speaker 1: the good times. It's easy to show up then, isn't it?
- 5:31Speaker 1: When my life is going well, when I'm doing very,
- 5:34Speaker 1: very well. Everybody wants to be my friend. I've noticed
- 5:38Speaker 1: my life has had some ups and downs. and downs.
- 5:40Speaker 1: And when I'm doing well, oh my goodness, my phone,
- 5:42Speaker 1: my email, my text blow up. Everybody wants to hang
- 5:45Speaker 1: out with me. It's when I'm not doing very well.
- 5:47Speaker 1: And there's been many moments when I've been fired. When
- 5:49Speaker 1: we started this podcast, at first it didn't succeed. We
- 5:52Speaker 1: kept trying and now thankfully we're in the top 10.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Thank you very much, naughties. But I kept going and
- 5:58Speaker 1: so did my friends. So did my family. People stuck
- 6:01Speaker 1: by me. And so what George is doing at the
- 6:03Speaker 1: moment is heroic. Now you might just say, Rob, that's
- 6:07Speaker 1: just called friendship. And if you say that then you
- 6:10Speaker 1: are so lucky because this is your norm. A lot
- 6:12Speaker 1: of people don't have these type of friends. I would love,
- 6:17Speaker 1: I would love for us all to have a George
- 6:19Speaker 1: Clooney in our life. Not a movie star, not somebody
- 6:22Speaker 1: that's worth a billion dollars, just somebody that shows up.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I have really been conscious about that in my life.
- 6:28Speaker 1: I don't have many friends. I only have about five
- 6:29Speaker 1: or six. In fact, you know most of them because
- 6:31Speaker 1: I asked all my friends to co-host this show. I
- 6:35Speaker 1: have five or six friends that show up for me
- 6:37Speaker 1: and I want you to have the same. Think about
- 6:39Speaker 1: that today. If something awful happened, who do you call?
- 6:43Speaker 1: And maybe more importantly, who shows up? That's a real friend.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Which brings us to our poll question of the day.
- 6:51Speaker 1: George Clooney shows up to help his best friend, Randy Gerber,
- 6:55Speaker 1: and wife Cindy Crawford in really the darkest hours, the
- 6:59Speaker 1: darkest hours of their lives. Our question is quite simple.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Do you have a friend who will show up for you? Gosh,
- 7:08Speaker 1: I hope it's a yes, naughties, but be honest. Yes
- 7:10Speaker 1: or no? Hey, go vote on our Twitter page at
- 7:13Speaker 1: Naughty Nice Rob. It's also our X page. I like
- 7:16Speaker 1: calling it Twitter. I do. Just that word makes me chuckle.
- 7:19Speaker 1: X is so much more aggressive, but it is X.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Our X page at Naughty Nice Rob. Our Facebook page
- 7:25Speaker 1: is Naughty Gossip. And be sure to check back tomorrow
- 7:28Speaker 1: to hear your results. Okay, we have a lot of
- 7:31Speaker 1: Dolly Parton news to get into today. So Dolly Parton
- 7:33Speaker 1: had a secret trip to Germany for experimental cancer treatment.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Farrah Fawcett did the same. So Dolly secretly traveled to
- 7:41Speaker 1: Germany on a private jet to go through some experimental
- 7:45Speaker 1: cancer treatment roughly about a year before she died. So
- 7:49Speaker 1: about a year ago. The country legend, she flew on
- 7:52Speaker 1: a private plane to Frankfurt where she spent about a
- 7:55Speaker 1: week working. undergoing unspecified treatment. We do not know the
- 7:59Speaker 1: treatment yet. Dolly returned home believing that the procedure had
- 8:03Speaker 1: helped restore her strength So it didn't cure the cancer.
- 8:07Speaker 1: The cancer wasn't gone, but Dolly felt stronger. She felt positive.
- 8:11Speaker 1: The extraordinary trip is largely a secret. Very few people
- 8:15Speaker 1: know about this. But then you have to remember, very
- 8:18Speaker 1: few people knew about the cancer itself. I was speaking
- 8:21Speaker 1: to a Dolly source who told me, towards the end
- 8:24Speaker 1: of her life, the last few months, very few people
- 8:27Speaker 1: saw her. Dolly did not want her friends, her family,
- 8:30Speaker 1: anyone to see her while she was bedridden. In fact,
- 8:33Speaker 1: the only person, the one person, the exception who saw
- 8:36Speaker 1: her all the time was her best friend who did
- 8:38Speaker 1: her hair and makeup and her wigs, her glam friend.
- 8:42Speaker 1: So she had a long time, a long time pal
- 8:45Speaker 1: who did her wigs and did her hair and makeup.
- 8:47Speaker 1: And Dolly only really allowed that friend into the room
- 8:51Speaker 1: because when she passed, she wanted her makeup done. She
- 8:54Speaker 1: wanted her wig on. She wanted people to come in
- 8:56Speaker 1: and see her as Dolly Parton. People said they've never
- 9:00Speaker 1: seen Dolly without their wig. When she made 9 to 5,
- 9:03Speaker 1: Jane Fonda said they became really, really close. They were
- 9:05Speaker 1: up early shooting, working late. They had drinks afterwards. They
- 9:08Speaker 1: hung out together. She never, ever saw Dolly without her wig,
- 9:13Speaker 1: which I think is a real, real testament to who
- 9:17Speaker 1: dolly is and so she was she was going to
- 9:19Speaker 1: germany experimental treatments dolly we do love you and what
- 9:24Speaker 1: i'm going to report next is going to break dolly's
- 9:27Speaker 1: heart there is drama going on within the dolly parton
- 9:31Speaker 1: world we told you yesterday that dolly's manager had fired
- 9:35Speaker 1: her nephew brian who she loved he was the head
- 9:38Speaker 1: of her security for decades whenever i saw dolly Brian
- 9:42Speaker 1: was there. Her manager, Danny, was there a lot. But
- 9:44Speaker 1: Brian was her nephew. This is family, and family meant
- 9:47Speaker 1: everything to Dolly. He was the head of her security.
- 9:49Speaker 1: He had a background in security. He looked after all
- 9:52Speaker 1: her properties, everything around Dolly that involved security. Brian was
- 9:56Speaker 1: in charge. In fact, they were so close that when
- 9:58Speaker 1: Dolly died... it was Brian who confirmed it. He issued
- 10:02Speaker 1: that video. Remember him standing there talking about Aunt Dolly?
- 10:05Speaker 1: It was a beautiful, beautiful message. Well, now Dolly's longtime manager, Danny,
- 10:10Speaker 1: has fired him, fired him, saying, go away. Well, the
- 10:15Speaker 1: nephew is fighting back, saying that they're not going to
- 10:18Speaker 1: back down. Quote, we refuse to be intimidated. That's what
- 10:22Speaker 1: they're saying. We refuse to be intimidated. They say this
- 10:26Speaker 1: is bad faith, and they say what the manager is
- 10:29Speaker 1: attempting to do is profit from Dolly's life and legacy.
- 10:34Speaker 1: I've seen this a lot with stars. Managers are a
- 10:37Speaker 1: really weird job. To be honest, I don't quite know
- 10:40Speaker 1: what they do, but I know they get 10, 15%.
- 10:44Speaker 1: They're sort of in charge of the schedule. They're highly
- 10:46Speaker 1: paid for what they do, in my opinion. Publicists, I think,
- 10:49Speaker 1: work harder than managers, agents even, and so your manager
- 10:53Speaker 1: just sort of like hangs around. And then he gets
- 10:56Speaker 1: offers like, do you want to do a CBS special?
- 10:58Speaker 1: Do you want to play a concert at the London Palladium?
- 11:01Speaker 1: And then you go to the star and the star decides.
- 11:03Speaker 1: In fact, a lot of stars now have cut managers out.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Whoopi Goldberg manages herself. Angelina Jolie manages herself. Lots of
- 11:08Speaker 1: celebrities manage themselves. When my career started to blow up,
- 11:11Speaker 1: I can't tell you how many managers came calling, knocking
- 11:14Speaker 1: on my door. Some were managers of friends of mine.
- 11:17Speaker 1: And I didn't want them because they wanted 15%. But
- 11:19Speaker 1: they didn't want to get me any more work. They
- 11:22Speaker 1: just wanted 15%. of what I had already created. So
- 11:26Speaker 1: this is a complicated one. Some managers are excellent. Most
- 11:29Speaker 1: managers I've worked with are family members. When I worked
- 11:32Speaker 1: for Jessica Simpson, Joe Simpson, her dad, was a manager. Oh,
- 11:35Speaker 1: he was hopeless. He actually harmed her career. Let's be clear.
- 11:38Speaker 1: He didn't help. He harmed. Other managers I've seen too,
- 11:42Speaker 1: including Alicia Keys and J-Lo, they're just not that good.
- 11:46Speaker 1: I found them all to be a total bother. Well,
- 11:49Speaker 1: Dolly's manager now, he is entitled. He thinks... He is
- 11:53Speaker 1: entitled to this legacy. And the family is saying, no, no, no.
- 11:57Speaker 1: And I've got to admit, all my sources tell me
- 11:59Speaker 1: Dolly would be, quote, spitting mad. I love that quote,
- 12:03Speaker 1: spitting mad. She earned through hard work, through determination, a
- 12:09Speaker 1: lot of money, hundreds of millions. And that should be
- 12:12Speaker 1: going to where she wants it to go, which is family,
- 12:15Speaker 1: which is charities, not a greedy, greedy manager. OK, moving along,
- 12:20Speaker 1: Lionel Richie. has been hospitalised again. Ooh, this is his
- 12:25Speaker 1: second health scare in just one month. Lionel, your body's
- 12:29Speaker 1: telling you something. You've got to listen to it. So
- 12:31Speaker 1: he was hospitalised for the second time in a month
- 12:34Speaker 1: after suffering another heart issue. He's 77 years old. He
- 12:37Speaker 1: has AFib. That's when your heart is at regular beats.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Quite a few people have this. It's not as serious
- 12:44Speaker 1: as it sounds, but you've got to look after yourself.
- 12:46Speaker 1: His spokesperson said Lionel underwent a common procedure... The doctor
- 12:51Speaker 1: said everything went perfectly well and he's doing great, but
- 12:55Speaker 1: he will take a little time off before returning to
- 12:57Speaker 1: the stage. No, Lionel, take a lot of time off.
- 13:00Speaker 1: He's only suspended his next three concerts. Just three? Cancel
- 13:04Speaker 1: the tour. You don't need to be doing this. Cancel
- 13:07Speaker 1: the tour. Also, too, I'm told that the producers of
- 13:10Speaker 1: American Idol are looking very closely at this. They have
- 13:13Speaker 1: confirmed that Idol will be back next year. They haven't
- 13:17Speaker 1: confirmed the judges yet, but now there's some fears that
- 13:19Speaker 1: maybe Lionel isn't up to it. They don't want to
- 13:22Speaker 1: have Lionel in a position where doing the work is
- 13:25Speaker 1: going to hurt his health. I know his kids, too,
- 13:27Speaker 1: are telling Lionel, it's time to slow down. Now, ultimately,
- 13:31Speaker 1: it's Lionel's decision. I believe that. It's your life, your decision.
- 13:34Speaker 1: If you want to go out on stage and you
- 13:36Speaker 1: want to perform, that is up to you. But I
- 13:39Speaker 1: would like to think people around them, advisors, managers, and
- 13:42Speaker 1: this is where it gets so complicated again with managers.
- 13:45Speaker 1: They don't get paid unless you're working. So always their
- 13:49Speaker 1: advice is do more shows, do more concerts. Get out there. No, no, no.
- 13:54Speaker 1: I hope they're saying it from the right place in
- 13:57Speaker 1: their heart and not from a place in their bank.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Lionel Richie, we're sending you our love. And quickly before
- 14:04Speaker 1: we go to break, Hayden Panettiere's cause of death has
- 14:07Speaker 1: been revealed. The coroner has ruled it an accident. Lots
- 14:11Speaker 1: of rumours out there. Lots of talk that this could
- 14:13Speaker 1: be investigated as a murder. That is not the case.
- 14:16Speaker 1: She died at 36 and the coroner has put an
- 14:19Speaker 1: end to that by ruling this an accident. The Greenville
- 14:23Speaker 1: County Coroner's Office confirmed the Nashville star died, who died
- 14:28Speaker 1: from toxic effects of fentanyl and other drugs. The death
- 14:31Speaker 1: was ruled accidental. Hayden was found unresponsive at a South
- 14:36Speaker 1: Carolina residence on August 16th after a 911 call reported
- 14:41Speaker 1: cardiac arrest. Despite attempts to revive her, she was pronounced
- 14:46Speaker 1: dead at 2.22pm. Just, just heartbreaking. A little bit of
- 14:52Speaker 1: good news there before we go to break. Taylor Swift
- 14:55Speaker 1: has a new single out. It's called Patient Zero. So
- 14:58Speaker 1: this is a big surprise. The 36-year-old superstar announced that
- 15:01Speaker 1: she has a brand new single out. And it will
- 15:03Speaker 1: arrive on September 25th after teasing fans with a mysterious countdown.
- 15:08Speaker 1: She said, I've been impatiently waiting to tell you. She
- 15:11Speaker 1: put that up on Instagram, revealing the track is available
- 15:14Speaker 1: for pre-order. Taylor, we need a little bit of happiness
- 15:17Speaker 1: at the moment. Oh, I hope it's a fun, fun,
- 15:20Speaker 1: upbeat song. We'll be looking out for it. OK, we're
- 15:22Speaker 1: going to take a quick break and we will be
- 15:25Speaker 1: right back. Welcome back to the Naughty But Nice Show.
- 15:29Speaker 1: I'm your host, Ron Shooter. Hey, let's get to the polls.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Last year, we talked about Presley Gerber's 911 call revealing
- 15:38Speaker 1: he was in cardiac arrest, an overdose before he died
- 15:41Speaker 1: at just 27 years old. 27. Should the rehab facility
- 15:46Speaker 1: be investigated? We reported exclusively that police are looking into this.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Should they investigate a rehab facility? It wasn't a lockdown facility.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Some people are saying it was more of a sober house,
- 15:57Speaker 1: a luxury rehab, rather than a psychiatric, a closed-down ward.
- 16:02Speaker 1: But should they be investigated? 87% said yes, I agree. Hey,
- 16:06Speaker 1: don't forget to vote on today's poll. Go to our
- 16:08Speaker 1: X page, our Twitter page, our Naughty Nice Ramp, or
- 16:11Speaker 1: our Facebook page, which is Naughty Gossip. I'm sure... to
- 16:15Speaker 1: check back tomorrow to hear your results. And now it's
- 16:19Speaker 1: time for our nicest of the day. Our nicest of
- 16:23Speaker 1: the day is that Harry is revealing the very British
- 16:26Speaker 1: life that little Archie and Lilibet are embracing after their
- 16:30Speaker 1: family returned to the UK. Harry said that Archie and
- 16:34Speaker 1: Lilibet are quickly getting a taste for British life following
- 16:37Speaker 1: the family's return to the UK. Speaking at the Well
- 16:40Speaker 1: Child Awards, He went by himself, not with Megan, not
- 16:43Speaker 1: the kids, by himself. Harry revealed the family has been
- 16:46Speaker 1: enjoying lots of walks. Joking, that's a very British thing
- 16:50Speaker 1: to do. It really is. My sister goes on long walks.
- 16:53Speaker 1: I go on walks with my mum, my family when
- 16:55Speaker 1: I'm home. Even more surprising, the children have become fans
- 16:59Speaker 1: of Marmite. Ooh, Brits love their Marmite. Not me and crumpets.
- 17:03Speaker 1: I love a crumpet. But he said beans on toast.
- 17:07Speaker 1: That is a hard no. If you don't know what
- 17:10Speaker 1: that is. Look it up. I actually had beans on
- 17:12Speaker 1: toast at my mom's house. It was delicious. I love
- 17:15Speaker 1: that the kids are adjusting here. I know they're a
- 17:18Speaker 1: controversial couple. We talk about it a lot on this show.
- 17:21Speaker 1: But nobody, nobody, nobody should blame two children for what
- 17:25Speaker 1: they consider to be the sins of their parents. Lilibet
- 17:28Speaker 1: and Archie are not Meghan and Harry. And so I
- 17:31Speaker 1: think this is just a lovely, lovely story. Two kids
- 17:35Speaker 1: in Britain adjusting. And boy, I hope they are loving it.
- 17:40Speaker 1: And now it's time for our naughtiest of the day. Naughty, naughty, naughty.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Harry and William, who's the nicest and the naughtiest, both
- 17:48Speaker 1: dodge questions about their Uncle Charles Spencer's book. Harry and
- 17:51Speaker 1: William are staying silent about their uncle's book. Oh, the
- 17:55Speaker 1: reason this is naughty is that this is a royal mistake.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Burying your head gets you nowhere. Harry ignored questions when
- 18:03Speaker 1: he was at the Wellchild Awards. He arrived at London's
- 18:06Speaker 1: Royal Lancaster Hotel, a posh hotel. He was asked, And
- 18:09Speaker 1: he did not say a single word. A day later,
- 18:12Speaker 1: William did exactly the same thing. He was arriving at
- 18:15Speaker 1: the Act One cinema. The Prince of Wales was asked
- 18:18Speaker 1: how he felt about his uncle's book. And he walked
- 18:20Speaker 1: in without responding. You're going to have to say something
- 18:23Speaker 1: at some point. Some people would say you don't. But
- 18:25Speaker 1: I would say both of you should put out a statement.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Let people know how you feel about this. Because Earl Spencer,
- 18:32Speaker 1: he's dropping your name. He's saying that you two knew
- 18:34Speaker 1: about this. You two supported it. There's no surprises in
- 18:37Speaker 1: the book. What's also interesting, Diana has sisters. Neither one
- 18:42Speaker 1: of them have yet said a word. Say it like
- 18:46Speaker 1: you mean it. Remember our old friend Wendy Williams used
- 18:49Speaker 1: to say that all the time. I love that expression.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Say it like you mean it. Let's end with a
- 18:54Speaker 1: moment of rum. You get a rub, you get a rub,
- 18:56Speaker 1: you get a rub, you get a rub. 15, 20 minutes,
- 18:58Speaker 1: we do all the celebrity news. But what makes our
- 19:00Speaker 1: entertainment podcast different from the others is we do love
- 19:02Speaker 1: just the moment when we're a little bit more deep.
- 19:05Speaker 1: The happiest people are not the luckiest. They just notice more.
- 19:11Speaker 1: The amount of happiness you experience in your life isn't
- 19:14Speaker 1: about what happens to you. No, it's about how much
- 19:17Speaker 1: of the good you actually notice. Happiness is easy to
- 19:22Speaker 1: miss because it rarely announces itself. It's the first sip
- 19:26Speaker 1: of coffee in the morning. It's someone who makes you laugh.
- 19:29Speaker 1: It's seeing a doggie. It's the sunlight through the window.
- 19:31Speaker 1: A friend checking in. Or five minutes of peace when
- 19:35Speaker 1: nothing is wrong. That is happiness. We spend so much
- 19:39Speaker 1: time waiting for something big to come along and make
- 19:42Speaker 1: us happy that we overlook the tiny moments that are
- 19:46Speaker 1: already there. A happier life doesn't require care. getting more.
- 19:51Speaker 1: It requires noticing more. Once again, it doesn't require getting more.
- 19:55Speaker 1: It requires that you notice more. Pay attention. Happiness might
- 20:00Speaker 1: already be there. Today, I want you to think of
- 20:03Speaker 1: one thing that makes you happy. It could be walking
- 20:05Speaker 1: past a cute doggy. It could be a beautiful, beautiful
- 20:08Speaker 1: rose in a garden. It could be somebody laughing on
- 20:11Speaker 1: the street. Just take a second, just a moment, and
- 20:15Speaker 1: enjoy it. Notice the happiness. It is going to be
- 20:19Speaker 1: all around you today. Hey, that is it for today.
