  Speaker 2: the whole journey, and y'all would be sitting up in

  Speaker 2: show this week? But man, it's been a lot of

  Speaker 2: amazing things has happened to me over the years, and

  Speaker 2: not all of them good. It's been some amazingly bad

  Speaker 2: things that have happened too. But I just come on

  Speaker 2: in the morning as a reminder to everybody of the

  Speaker 2: actual goodness of God, that you know, man, that these
• 0:50
  Speaker 2: mistakes that you're making, that these setbacks that you keep having,

  Speaker 2: that these falls that keep occurring in your life, that
• 1:00
  Speaker 2: they all are leading you somewhere. If you just don't

  Speaker 2: ever give up. That's the key. You can never ever
• 1:07
  Speaker 2: give up because you don't know how the trip has
• 1:12
  Speaker 2: been laid out for you. You know, if somebody had told
• 1:16
  Speaker 2: me years ago when I had the dream of being
• 1:20
  Speaker 2: on TV and then I thought about being a one
• 1:23
  Speaker 2: of one of the best comedians I could be, you know,

  Speaker 2: when I when I start if somebody had told me

  Speaker 2: everything that was gonna have to happen in order for

  Speaker 2: me to get there, I would have changed it. I

  Speaker 2: would have I would have said, Okay, well I ain't

  Speaker 2: gonna be that. How about this? See and no one

  Speaker 2: can know all of the events of their life ahead

  Speaker 2: of time.

  Speaker 1: You know, it'd be so nice, wouldn't it.

  Speaker 2: You know, to prepare for it, see it come, and

  Speaker 2: be aware of the haters, always knowing when the backstabing

  Speaker 2: moment is coming in in your life, always knowing when

  Speaker 2: you're gonna get blindsided by the enemy. Were really great

  Speaker 2: to know that, wouldn't it. Well, that's not how it works.

  Speaker 2: So since no one knows exactly the challenges and the

  Speaker 2: pitfalls and the detours that's gonna be set them, it's

  Speaker 2: it's it's imperative that you just don't give up. Because see,

  Speaker 2: knowing these things, we as human beings by nature, would

  Speaker 2: choose another route. But it ain't the route God God

  Speaker 2: for you, though. See the route God God for you.

  Speaker 2: If you if you're trying to do the right thing,

  Speaker 2: if you're doing the best you can, if you ain't

  Speaker 2: out here just intentionally just messing over folks, If you're

  Speaker 2: using faith, and that's the belief in things that you

  Speaker 2: cannot see. If you have something on the inside of

  Speaker 2: you to keep saying there's got to be more to

  Speaker 2: life than that, then that's that's you.

  Speaker 2: tell me, it says some best lessons in life, to

  Speaker 2: born your value and learn the most is about lesson.

  Speaker 2: I didn't quite understand that, being young, but I show

  Speaker 2: got it now. Ain't no lesson like a ball lesson

  Speaker 2: the one you pay for. Those are the ones that

  Speaker 2: hold to you, that stick to you, that that start

  Speaker 2: turning you into who you're gonna be. Those are the

  Speaker 2: character builders. See, you got to be forged to get

  Speaker 2: to where you want to go in life. See, that's

  Speaker 2: what the challenge is and missteps is for that's what

  Speaker 2: the failing is about.

  Speaker 2: I know you don't like it. I didn't. I know

  Speaker 2: you're not comfortable with I wouldn't. I know you wish

  Speaker 2: because the later, Man, it just seems like it's so

  Speaker 2: in life, I don't know. I was on TV in

  Speaker 2: one time when I was doing one of my motivational speeches,

  Speaker 2: and I began to wonder about this experience I had

  Speaker 2: at Ford Motor Company and my lif last job after
• 5:00
  Speaker 2: the auto industry started going down. My last job was
• 5:04
  Speaker 2: in the foundry and my job was to stand at
• 5:08
  Speaker 2: the end almost where the engines first come out of
• 5:13
  Speaker 2: the furnace. See, the engines are poured into a mold.

  Speaker 2: It's hot, melted down metal whatever they call it, larva
• 5:20
  Speaker 2: or whatever. They pour it into a mole and it
• 5:23
  Speaker 2: goes into this furnace that's extremely hot. And my job
• 5:28
  Speaker 2: was after the heat was applied to the engine block,
• 5:33
  Speaker 2: it would come through and it would go through a
• 5:36
  Speaker 2: hardening stage. With the way it was hardening, they would
• 5:38
  Speaker 2: cool it. Suddenly they would flush it with water. It
• 5:42
  Speaker 2: was just blast water on it. But the fire and
• 5:45
  Speaker 2: the high temperature is what made the engine blocks solidify.
• 5:51
  Speaker 2: It's because it's got to get real hot, get melted
• 5:54
  Speaker 2: down first. Then it's got to get poured into a mole.
• 5:58
  Speaker 2: Then it's got to be pressure hit with water and

  Speaker 2: all of this, and then it and it's real hot.

  Speaker 2: Now it's still hot even though this water been shotter.

  Speaker 2: But when it comes out the end of the side,

  Speaker 2: there's a lot of flashing in it. It flashing is

  Speaker 2: a metal from that to drip through the cast molding

  Speaker 2: on it, just like flex of extra pieces of metal.

  Speaker 1: My job was to hit this engine block in the.

  Speaker 2: Front, which is huge, heavy rubber mallet, knock all the

  Speaker 2: flashing off the front and when it came around back

  Speaker 2: to bam, hit it real hard again on the backside,
• 6:36
  Speaker 2: and that became the core of what the car is.

  Speaker 2: A car without a great engine is nothing. It's just
• 6:43
  Speaker 2: a pretty looking vehicle over there. But if it can't

  Speaker 2: do what it was made to do because the engine blocked,
• 6:49
  Speaker 2: then crack.

  Speaker 1: See.

  Speaker 2: You can have a car look real good, but if

  Speaker 2: it freezes an engine block cracked your car, you could

  Speaker 2: it's over man. You gotta get a new block. The

  Speaker 2: block is the core for the car to do what

  Speaker 2: it's got to do, it's got to have a strong

  Speaker 2: enginet it. In order for the engine to be strong,

  Speaker 2: it's got to be forged and steal, come through fire,

  Speaker 2: get poured in a mole, cooled off, heated, knocked around,
• 7:13
  Speaker 2: beat on the front end, beat on the back end

  Speaker 2: in order for it to be what it's gonna be.

  Speaker 2: The mall of the story, folks, is you got to

  Speaker 2: get forged in fire to be what you're gonna be.

  Speaker 2: You got to get beat up, you got to get

  Speaker 2: pressure washed, you got to have heat on you, you got

  Speaker 2: to get melted down, you got to get pulled into
• 7:33
  Speaker 2: a mole. That's how you become who you are. So

  Speaker 2: the tough things that you're going through, the difficult challenges

  Speaker 2: and the setbacks.

  Speaker 1: I know a brother who went to prison, ma'am.

  Speaker 2: And the whole reason he ended up going to prison

  Speaker 2: because he was looking out the little window, looking out

  Speaker 2: in the yard at him working out. And then the

  Speaker 2: next thing you know, man, this brother decided that he
• 7:53
  Speaker 2: was gonna go out there and work out. Well, guess what,
• 7:56
  Speaker 2: he's one of the top trainers in country today.
