In which a lady, reflecting with a delicate blend of pride and humility, expounds upon the education of her sex and the injustices they suffer from neglect and underestimation, offering examples of accomplished women who rival their male counterparts. She muses on the noble duties and hopes inspired by a particular gentleman’s virtues, embracing retrospection to temper her discourse with sincerity and affectionate regard.
