It is not. 13 00:00:47,540 --> 00:00:49,540 Nor is it this big man. 14 00:00:49,540 --> 00:00:52,540 No, no, who, uh, not David Arquette? 15 00:00:52,540 --> 00:00:54,540 Nope. 16 00:00:54,540 --> 00:00:57,540 Um, Tradding, who, uh, we, uh, quick question. 17 00:00:57,540 --> 00:01:00,540 Who is, outside of David Arquette and Vising Man? 18 00:01:00,540 --> 00:01:03,540 Jack Swagger is he the worst world champion we've had? 19 00:01:03,540 --> 00:01:07,540 Well, did an events Rousseau have a run with the Dubsidio title as well? 20 00:01:07,540 --> 00:01:10,540 I thought he held it. I don't know if he actually had it on him. 21 00:01:10,540 --> 00:01:16,540 If he did, so like, out of wrestlers, you know, take Arquette, Rousseau, Vising out of it. 22 00:01:16,540 --> 00:01:19,540 Who do you think the worst world champion of all time is? 23 00:01:19,540 --> 00:01:23,540 I think people would probably jump to gender mahal as one. 24 00:01:23,540 --> 00:01:31,540 Uh, I think even Bob Backlin's 1994 run, which was like four or five days, is up there as well. 25 00:01:31,540 --> 00:01:35,540 See, I liked that Backlin character because he was crazy in nuts. 26 00:01:35,540 --> 00:01:41,540 Um, Swagger because of, I mean, people make fun of Cody's list. 27 00:01:41,540 --> 00:01:43,540 Swagger had a list. 28 00:01:43,540 --> 00:01:45,540 Yeah, yeah, bad list. 29 00:01:45,540 --> 00:01:47,540 So I'd say Swagger. 30 00:01:47,540 --> 00:01:51,540 People would have probably also say Kofi, even though everybody loved Kofi Mania. 31 00:01:51,540 --> 00:01:55,540 It's one of my favorite moments we've ever covered in the history of the show. 32 00:01:55,540 --> 00:01:59,540 Yeah, but I mean, he had a decent, like, he had like a six month run with the belt before the broadcaster stuff. 33 00:01:59,540 --> 00:02:05,540 Yeah, it was, like, he dropped it in like October after winning it in March or April. 34 00:02:05,540 --> 00:02:11,540 Yeah. Um, trying to think of my WCW champions or TNA champions. 35 00:02:11,540 --> 00:02:16,540 I'm just, I'm worth it. But yeah, I was just speaking of new on his view of the champion just popped in my head. 36 00:02:16,540 --> 00:02:19,540 Like, who's the worst world champion we've had? 37 00:02:19,540 --> 00:02:23,540 That was an actual wrestler. So that might be a topic for our fans. 38 00:02:23,540 --> 00:02:27,540 Chiamin, who's the worst world champion that was actually arrested? 39 00:02:27,540 --> 00:02:31,540 Yeah, feel free to chime in. Patreon.com/answerteapodcast. 40 00:02:31,540 --> 00:02:37,540 Uh, Dr. Trey, the more things change, the more they stay the same you and I sat here on last week's show. 41 00:02:37,540 --> 00:02:47,540 And we had a feeling that we were going to see a title change on Friday and behold, we did as Cody Rhodes defeats Drew McAttire on Smackdown to win back the M-Sphere to WWE championship. 42 00:02:47,540 --> 00:02:51,540 And he will now face Randy or in that WrestleMania 42. 43 00:02:51,540 --> 00:03:01,540 So I simply ask you this, was this the right call or do we like the reported original plan for Cody's path at WrestleMania 42? 44 00:03:01,540 --> 00:03:09,540 What say that original plan? Well, Mike Johnson, PW Insider Elite, is reporting that it was learned that the original WrestleMania pitch, 45 00:03:09,540 --> 00:03:17,540 making the rounds was for Cody Rhodes versus Drew McAttire at WrestleMania 42 inside Hell in a cell. 46 00:03:17,540 --> 00:03:25,540 Dr. Trey, was this the right call or would you prefer to see Drew versus Cody in Hell in Cell? 47 00:03:25,540 --> 00:03:33,540 If those are my two options, I'll lean Cody Orton. Like, I love Drew. Don't get me wrong. 48 00:03:33,540 --> 00:03:47,540 Now that would have meant taking this Smackdown match out of the equation and then doing just Cody and Drew at WrestleMania because Cody won the Chamber is where I'm guessing they would go. 49 00:03:47,540 --> 00:03:57,540 You know what, I'm going to change that pick. I'm going to go back, if that was the route they're going to go, I'll go Drew and Cody because that would be up there for like feud of the year. 50 00:03:57,540 --> 00:04:07,540 You would have basically like an eight month long feud at that point being settled inside Hell in a cell and at WrestleMania. 51 00:04:07,540 --> 00:04:16,540 Like, yeah, that's actually pretty badass. So I'm going to go with the original plan of Cody and Drew inside Hell in Cell is a better matchup right now. 52 00:04:16,540 --> 00:04:30,540 Now it depends on what happens with Cody and Randy going forward because I think that was actually either on my WrestleMania prediction card or something we have talked about as a dream WrestleMania match. 53 00:04:30,540 --> 00:04:38,540 But you give me an eight month long storyline culminating in Hell in a cell at WrestleMania. That's pretty awesome. 54 00:04:38,540 --> 00:04:47,540 Yeah, this is, to me, I mentioned on last week's shows, well, I think, and you're going to see this with a couple of the other matches that we kind of go through here. 55 00:04:47,540 --> 00:05:01,540 I think this is a reaction for Ticket Sales. I think things in Creative's mind was flat, heading out of the holidays into the New Year and they needed to pump up some Ticket sales. 56 00:05:01,540 --> 00:05:18,540 We said, there are some reports out there that the reason why Cody dropped the title was so that he was in the rumble and elimination chamber matches, which to me is the fact that they're looking at this as poor Ticket sales with these shows, we need Cody in there, we need WrestleMania. 57 00:05:18,540 --> 00:05:24,540 I don't know if it's like, Creative shouldn't be the one that's driving the change to get people to buy the tickets. 58 00:05:24,540 --> 00:05:33,540 It should be the ticket prices that need to come down, if that's the case. We've talked about that the ticket prices for WWE right now are so insane. 59 00:05:33,540 --> 00:05:41,540 Just like a lot of things that we're dealing with here, at least in the United States right now, that didn't need to be the thing that tried to get people to buy the tickets. 60 00:05:41,540 --> 00:05:48,540 Buy the tickets, lower the cost. If you're not selling, there's a reason for that. That's a whole 'nother story for another day. 61 00:05:48,540 --> 00:05:59,540 If Cody and Randy Orton was what they wanted to get to, they've been planting seeds for a really long time and they could have taken the fall of this past year to help build that up. 62 00:05:59,540 --> 00:06:03,540 And they were quasi doing that and then Randy went away for a while. 63 00:06:03,540 --> 00:06:12,540 If you remember Dr. Trey, like Randy was gone for a little bit off television, he comes back for September, October, five of my months right and then he disappears again for a little bit. 64 00:06:12,540 --> 00:06:18,540 And I don't think we see him again until after the new year because he wasn't involved in the war games match right. 65 00:06:18,540 --> 00:06:19,540 No. 66 00:06:19,540 --> 00:06:22,540 Yeah, so it was like a really weird booking for Randy Orton. 67 00:06:22,540 --> 00:06:30,540 And that's where I think it should have continued. If you wanted to get to Randy and Cody, you have Randy in that match and you teased that a little bit. 68 00:06:30,540 --> 00:06:40,540 But if you go back to those shows, we were talking about reports that they were like teasing whether it be Roman versus Cody or Cody versus CM Punk. 69 00:06:40,540 --> 00:06:44,540 You know, we had the Roman versus Cody rumors that were put out there that people were off put on. 70 00:06:44,540 --> 00:06:47,540 So they really didn't know what to do with Cody. 71 00:06:47,540 --> 00:06:55,540 And then, I mean, they've been building on this Randy thing for some time, but they don't move forward with it. 72 00:06:55,540 --> 00:07:03,540 And then they went Cody versus Drew, which actually got me excited because it was different and I was happy for Drew to get this opportunity. 73 00:07:03,540 --> 00:07:10,540 And then what, five weeks out, they're removing Drew from the match and they're having them going entirely different direction. 74 00:07:10,540 --> 00:07:16,540 I mean, as of last week's show, you and I were sitting here going, we still think it's going to be a multi-person match. 75 00:07:16,540 --> 00:07:19,540 The vibe had been for the longest time. 76 00:07:19,540 --> 00:07:24,540 Cody, Drew, Jacob, Randy Orton was nowhere in there. They started throwing Sammy in there. 77 00:07:24,540 --> 00:07:26,540 And then you're like, wait a minute, could this be a fatal four-way? 78 00:07:26,540 --> 00:07:32,540 And then they pushed Drew in there and you and I last week's show were saying maybe it's a fatal five-way of some sort. 79 00:07:32,540 --> 00:07:37,540 Where Randy, Sammy, Jacob, Drew and Cody are there and we're like, how do we get there? 80 00:07:37,540 --> 00:07:40,540 Now it's just straight up Drew and Cody. 81 00:07:40,540 --> 00:07:44,540 Excuse me, Cody and Randy, no Drew and Cody now, no hell in a cell. 82 00:07:44,540 --> 00:07:47,540 Drew is reportedly going to be dealing with Jacob Fattu. 83 00:07:47,540 --> 00:07:58,540 I mean, this is, I get, you want the road to WrestleMania to like kind of be all over the place and a little bit bumpy and keep your fans guessing. 84 00:07:58,540 --> 00:08:05,540 But maybe this is the old school fantasy doctor try. I've always enjoyed when it's pretty much set in stone. 85 00:08:05,540 --> 00:08:11,540 I feel like you do too because you mentioned like a good six-month build, seven-month build, eight-month build. 86 00:08:11,540 --> 00:08:17,540 Like people like that and like it's seen play out at WrestleMania than what they're doing right now. 87 00:08:17,540 --> 00:08:24,540 Yeah, I mean, we saw it a couple of years ago, not culminating in WrestleMania really, but like the Drew McIntyre CM Punk feud. 88 00:08:24,540 --> 00:08:31,540 And that took a long, long time, you know, and that hell in a cell match is still really memorable, you know. 89 00:08:31,540 --> 00:08:39,540 Like those things are great. Like I like a good long build up and you know with so much history between Randy, and Cody Rhodes, 90 00:08:39,540 --> 00:08:43,540 I kind of feel like you're getting short change in only a five-week build up. 91 00:08:43,540 --> 00:08:53,540 Now, granted, they're both its baby face, baby face, which unless somebody kind of turns a corner between now and WrestleMania is kind of the direction we're going. 92 00:08:53,540 --> 00:09:05,540 But yeah, like I would have liked it if they had had, let's say, Drew and Randy, Randy wins the chamber. 93 00:09:05,540 --> 00:09:11,540 But as we go along, you keep adding people to the mix and to the story to get to a multi-person match. 94 00:09:11,540 --> 00:09:17,540 Like I've been fine with that too. Like this just seems so reactionary and kind of out of nowhere. 95 00:09:17,540 --> 00:09:24,540 And I really hate the report that they took the belts off of Cody to put them in the rumble. The rumble sells itself, Jeff. 96 00:09:24,540 --> 00:09:31,540 I got to watch the rumble for any one particular person. I really don't even watch chamber for one particular person. 97 00:09:31,540 --> 00:09:37,540 I watch it for the match itself. Like, you know, when we used to have the Hell in a Cell pay reviews. 98 00:09:37,540 --> 00:09:46,540 Okay, I might watch that for who's in the Hell in a Cell, but Heck, Hell in a Cell damn near cells itself a lot of times. 99 00:09:46,540 --> 00:09:53,540 Unless it's the, the big was the Bobby Lashley Xavier Woods Monday night Raw Hell in a Cell match. 100 00:09:53,540 --> 00:10:00,540 But for the most part, Hell in a Cell sells itself. So it's just, it feels so weird and it feels so reactionary. 101 00:10:00,540 --> 00:10:08,540 And that's something we have not seen with this creative team since Triple H took over three years now. 102 00:10:08,540 --> 00:10:13,540 Yeah, it feels like it's panicking. You know, we had heard this bubbling up for a little bit. 103 00:10:13,540 --> 00:10:20,540 There were, there was the stories out I think late last week, maybe early this week. My timeline may be off that road dog Jesse James. 104 00:10:20,540 --> 00:10:27,540 Quit WWE creative. He had a high ranking position. I think he was running or partially running the Smackdown brand. 105 00:10:27,540 --> 00:10:33,540 He, he has been, been a defender of Paul of extrable H creatively for, for some time. 106 00:10:33,540 --> 00:10:38,540 It seems like he has a pretty good mind creatively, but they said this was bubbling up. 107 00:10:38,540 --> 00:10:49,540 So, you know, I don't know if he's kind of fed up with directions here. You're, you're hearing that it's, there's similarities of the Vinc days were things for change. 108 00:10:49,540 --> 00:11:07,540 And if they got off the beat and path, I, I, again, I really hope that like four or five months from now, we're not sitting down getting ready for Summer Slam and the previews for Netflix is all the creative members on, on real preview in the next part of the season or whatever it is. 109 00:11:07,540 --> 00:11:15,540 That they, however they lay it out and we're like, everything is just surrounded of WrestleMania's in chaos. Like we don't know, nobody knows what we're going to do. 110 00:11:15,540 --> 00:11:32,540 We keep changing the plans and blah, blah, blah, blah. Like if that's the case, then I think all wrestling fans should boycott unreal because the creative that they're like doing to make the show interesting is not good for the product that we're watching presently. 111 00:11:32,540 --> 00:11:45,540 So, yeah, I just have that like odd feeling that that's you're going to have like Paul Heyman or triple it, definitely triple H being like, yeah, we're all over the place with creative right now for WrestleMania all plans are up in the air and blah, blah, blah. 112 00:11:45,540 --> 00:12:01,540 And like that's the focal point of that season on real and if that's the case, then that's terrible because I think it's reflective that fans don't want to invest their money by going out to Las Vegas, buying the tickets that are really super expensive for two shows, the Hall of Fame ceremony. 113 00:12:01,540 --> 00:12:17,540 WWE the world, whatever, right, and then the meet and greets that are really crazy money. If the show is an entertaining and if they did it tactfully and tastefully and made an entertaining, maybe I feel differently. 114 00:12:17,540 --> 00:12:42,540 The Cody Drew, Jacob Fattu, Sammy Zane, Randy Orton stuff on SmackDown has so been has been so convoluted, confusing and it's had bright spots but there's been a lot of low points and not as entertaining that it's now here we are in the home stretch and hopefully they can kind of wash that and start focusing on Cody and Randy. 115 00:12:42,540 --> 00:13:02,540 And Randy, make a personal go back in a time, go back to Randy being the mentor and all that stuff and try to make it interesting but everything up into this point is you and I talk to this microphone presently, Dr. Trey, the unisputed WWE championship storyline heading in WrestleMania 42 since the new year, new calendar year began has been nothing but a cluster fuck. 116 00:13:02,540 --> 00:13:22,540 Yeah, it's funny because like if you go back six months ago, I think you and I talked about it for a while, it was there was Cody and Drew and then everybody else felt a notch below it and I think it's because I get the time Randy was off TV, they were teasing a little bit of stuff with him and Alster Black. 117 00:13:22,540 --> 00:13:32,540 But it just felt like everybody else was a notch below and I kept saying like you got to start building some people up because I don't know if you could run Cody and Drew all the way to WrestleMania. 118 00:13:32,540 --> 00:13:49,540 We start to see it, the Jacob Fautou stuff, Sammy Zang getting involved, like it is weird because I'm still watching Monday Night Raw and they're still doing the Sammy stuff with Cody and I'm like, all right, well are we not, I don't really know what they're doing. 119 00:13:49,540 --> 00:14:02,540 Yes, they're kind of trying to elevate everybody at once but what's happening is it's becoming so like you said, convoluted that it's kind of hard to keep track of like which way do we want this stuff to go. 120 00:14:02,540 --> 00:14:17,540 And right now it's like man, I was getting kind of excited about a multi person match and giving Jacob and Sammy like a main event night one world title match spotlight to help move their careers along. 121 00:14:17,540 --> 00:14:30,540 I mean if we go back to like what they were talking about like was like okay, we're going to do Cody and Randy Jacob and excuse me Jacob and Drew and then Sammy's just kind of on the outside. 122 00:14:30,540 --> 00:14:33,540 I'm like I'm not really a fan of that. 123 00:14:33,540 --> 00:14:37,540 I kind of want, Jacob and Sammy have been focal points for the last four months. 124 00:14:37,540 --> 00:14:41,540 They kind of need being that focal point going into WrestleMania season. 125 00:14:41,540 --> 00:14:55,540 So let's talk about the Drew McAteyre part of this entire thing so it feels like to me Dr. Trey that Drew McAteyre legitimately gets screwed and his undisputed WWE championship run since winning it in like the second week of January was not great at all. 126 00:14:55,540 --> 00:15:00,540 I think I was trying to rack my brain in this and please correct me if I'm wrong if I'm forgetting one. 127 00:15:00,540 --> 00:15:09,540 So we held the title for about less than two months just a little short of two months after winning it I believe in Germany in early January and just dropping it this past Friday. 128 00:15:09,540 --> 00:15:21,540 I think he only had one title defense and I was against Sammy's in the Royal Rumble and then everything else was Drew McAteyre who is like what is he six foot six six foot seven 129 00:15:21,540 --> 00:15:47,540 285 300 pounds of like nothing but pure muscle a badass a killer the Scottish psychopath doing nothing but running away all the time like becoming a chicken shit heel like he was playing the MJF the Miz whatever you want to say like style of world champion that he doesn't need to play at all like Drew McAteyre is an animal. 130 00:15:47,540 --> 00:15:59,540 And all he did his character did was just run away run away run away until it caught up to him where he then just ends up dropping the title on an episode of Smackdown five weeks away from WrestleMania. 131 00:15:59,540 --> 00:16:14,540 One I don't know what that does for does for his character I think overall even though he's obviously booked as a heel clearly the most wrestling fans nowadays understand that you just don't boo the hell he'll just to boo the heel right we play roll his fans. 132 00:16:14,540 --> 00:16:41,540 But when you talk about Drew McAteyre the rest are like I am right now I think all wrestling fans for the most part like love and respect the guy love his character love everything that he's done feel like he was screwed in the pandemic era and then was like held out of the title scene for the longest time when he should have been in there finally gets that opportunity and then his book terribly like that was a really bad run for him. 133 00:16:41,540 --> 00:16:53,540 And I just feel bad for Drew because I think he deserves a main event level spot at WrestleMania and I get that Cody versus Randy is the brand name and I would be behind that if that was something that they were. 134 00:16:53,540 --> 00:17:05,540 You know teasing back in September and October and we slowly built our way there Randy wins the elimination chamber Cody still champion I'm fine with that but the fact that you put the title on Drew for like. 135 00:17:05,540 --> 00:17:32,540 It's a 7-8 9-10 weeks only for him to take it off weeks before WrestleMania because maybe the storyline wasn't working for you guys from a ticket sale perspective I'm not a fan of like I just think that's really bad for Drew McAteyre and if it comes out in a couple years the Drew McAteyre is not renewing his WWE contract and jumps over to AW and Drew Galaway is reborn I can understand why I feel really bad for him Dr. Traa. 136 00:17:32,540 --> 00:17:52,540 I truly do I think he deserved better I think the fans has served better and they should have just continued to lock it in and done Drew and Cody at WrestleMania if Cody wins a WrestleMania which I think all fans expected he would do then you could follow up with like Cody and Randy at backlash and let them carry it out all through the summer maybe Randy turns and we see it end up at summer slam. 137 00:17:52,540 --> 00:18:05,540 Yeah maybe they put the title on Randy at some point during all that as well like it just I feel awful for Drew McAteyre I think he gets screwed in this one and his run was not great like I can't think of another title defense other than the one with Sammy at Royal Rumble. 138 00:18:05,540 --> 00:18:18,540 I can't remember him having really another match outside of that Sammy match and we since the Rumble I don't think Drew's actually wrestled I think I think you're right I don't think he has either not even tag team matches. 139 00:18:18,540 --> 00:18:39,540 Like we've seen him get involved in matches to kind of screw people over but yeah it was horrible booking because like I get playing up the chicken should heal I get that but here's the thing if Drew's this smart and we've seen him play them game and play the the the machinations and all there's like that. 140 00:18:39,540 --> 00:18:43,540 Why didn't Drew just give himself to qualify to that match. 141 00:18:43,540 --> 00:19:03,540 He hangs on to the belt then he goes to wrestle me and I'm with you I know it's like sometimes like they create a gets to cue we saw it's weird sometimes when you have a bad ass heal and he's a badass coming all the way up once he gets the belt they don't know how to book him properly. 142 00:19:03,540 --> 00:19:19,540 You know it's like they like with Roman we saw Roman at this three year long run but a lot of it was and you saw it online bloodline interferes and Roman saves the belt you know and then like even Gunther's run with the world title wasn't great. 143 00:19:19,540 --> 00:19:47,540 There are certain characters in wrestling that are hard to book because you want to make the baby face look strong and not weak by getting pinned but you also want to be like you know when a big show big shows one of the hardest people ever to book because when he's a bad guy he's unstoppable and then the good guy has to show some great determination just out smart when he's a good guy you gotta make a little bit of bumbling it is. 144 00:19:47,540 --> 00:19:51,540 It's like sometimes like guys are just dominant let him be dominant like. 145 00:19:51,540 --> 00:20:04,540 You could add drew wrestler couple of matches and then like to me this would be the perfect scenario to have you make some do this match and then next thing you know drew kisses qualify so now code is gotta rematch. 146 00:20:04,540 --> 00:20:26,540 Brandy's in the match and then you can still add Jacob and Samie into the mixing get all those guys into one match and people five throw ladder in there just make it a ladder match make it a five way hell in a cell match you ever get the top the three was the WCW match the three stages of terror three stages of the cage yeah what was that it was like whatever the movie was based off of that David our cat was. 147 00:20:26,540 --> 00:20:55,540 Yeah you know it's just it's a shame the Drew McIntyre character of like him saying I get screwed all the time like there's truth behind all that so I don't know and then you just think about like the recovery in this entire thing we talked about it where Drew versus Jacob now WrestleMania Jacob wins because Drew is going off to film a movie I don't get any of this because when Drew comes back I don't know I think I think it's gonna be tough to take him seriously doctor try I mean. 148 00:20:55,540 --> 00:21:00,540 This is his real title room was not great in the way that he's booked was. 149 00:21:00,540 --> 00:21:18,540 Man I'm looking insanely weak and he does not need to be looked at as insanely weak whatsoever so Cody Rhodes back as the atmosphere WWE champion you know we're not even talk about the part where I think this could ultimately backfire on Cody with the adult fans at some point here very Johnson ask. 150 00:21:18,540 --> 00:21:25,540 He takes on Randy or now WrestleMania Drew McIntyre is without a WrestleMania match we feel like he's going to be taking on Jacob but to right now. 151 00:21:25,540 --> 00:21:37,540 And yeah it's been a while ride I guess just basically to kind of close the book on the last eight weeks of the industry WWE championship picture the stuff on on Smackdown. 152 00:21:37,540 --> 00:21:59,540 Was not great creatively was not fun nor entertaining as a fan it definitely left us intrigued as to where things were going and at no point whatsoever were was the option of between Dr. Train I that we said was like oh I think this gets us to Cody versus Rainy or for the title like never in fact if you told us like in late January. 153 00:21:59,540 --> 00:22:10,540 Like someone from the future is like hey this is what the match is going to be I think both of us would be like how the fuck do we get to that and how why what are we doing what about true so. 154 00:22:10,540 --> 00:22:18,540 You turn to heal exactly I was I was in who turned heal yeah not not great but just to close the book on it hopefully moving forward. 155 00:22:18,540 --> 00:22:38,540 They make things interesting make things entertaining make things personal make people excited for rain your versus Cody Rhodes for the in a speed of the championship and also what we presume to be Drew McIntyre versus Jacob Fattu with that said Dr. Trey let's segue right into the WrestleMania 42 card round up for this week. 156 00:22:38,540 --> 00:22:55,540 C.M. Punk versus Roman Reigns on the official side we have the usos confront punk and defend their family punk still isn't sorry Jimmy uso punches punk punches punk in the face to close out Monday night raw what did you think of the latest build in the story between punk and Roman Reigns. 157 00:22:55,540 --> 00:23:22,540 I so I liked this last segment for Jimmy hated it for Jay right like I love this I love that you know punk gets a call on some stuff about like you know Roman calling out Cody's dead I like I like the segment for what it was I don't know what you I just hated it for Jay it just made him look like weird and unhinged and just kind of weak because Jimmy kept backing him down. 158 00:23:22,540 --> 00:23:33,540 You know so I didn't really like for Jay but Jimmy stood out like great promo great talking he's the one that gets the layout punk so I loved it for him. 159 00:23:33,540 --> 00:23:51,540 And it does add an extra layer of dynamics to this story because you know Roman wasn't always great to Jimmy and Jay and does that come into play down the line as well because you know punk said you don't have your cousins anymore well now Roman kind of has his cousins again if you want some. 160 00:23:51,540 --> 00:24:20,540 So it does add some dynamic to a story that is going to be hot kind of kind of hard to do when Roman's only around every couple of weeks I agree with you I thought Jay also looked very bewildered and lost in his promos ever since the trick Jay like gotten this baby face run he went from a guy that could cut a pretty good promo with his brother in the usos to pretty decent as the right hand man and the bloodline to like completely lost. 161 00:24:20,540 --> 00:24:30,540 I thought he was like out out and left field I mean a lot of times where he was like stammering and staggering over his words and I thought Jimmy also really kind of kept the scene and segment together. 162 00:24:30,540 --> 00:24:43,540 I don't know where this gets us because the usos have been kind of doing their own thing now they're brought back in it does add an interesting layer overall I think the punk rain stuff has been a really intriguing build and we'll see Roman rains return. 163 00:24:43,540 --> 00:24:51,540 This Monday on Monday Night Raw to kind of further this a little bit forward I hope rains comes out of the gate red hot gets a little personal with punk. 164 00:24:51,540 --> 00:25:05,540 And kind of rattles the boots of C and punk like punk has with Roman rains I didn't think of something else real quick like if you look at the potential matchups and if if we're maybe doing. 165 00:25:05,540 --> 00:25:17,540 Theory and Paul against the usos does this get punk back involved with Paul Heyman in a sense you know part of me feels like right like that there's like this weird. 166 00:25:17,540 --> 00:25:22,540 Cusp of a heel turn for punk is he's like even acknowledging the booze. 167 00:25:22,540 --> 00:25:28,540 But I don't think it does I mean I mean you want to talk about things that don't make sense. 168 00:25:28,540 --> 00:25:37,540 We've been down that road we just talked about it for the last 20 minutes I think that would be one it'd be like how do we get here how did we get here. 169 00:25:37,540 --> 00:25:46,540 Yeah it's just like the weird thing about like because once again we're going into WrestleMania with two world title matches between four baby faces. 170 00:25:46,540 --> 00:26:07,540 Yeah it's I mean this is probably a topic for another day it's funny to bring this up I feel like this I saw comments from Cody where he was like I think this is going to be a sleeper WrestleMania which I think is odd I think that's a very odd thing to say for the top guy to be like yeah you may be counting out this WrestleMania because things have sucked but we may pull it we're going to pull rabbit out of our hat. 171 00:26:07,540 --> 00:26:36,540 In mid April I was like he's like no you know it yeah he's like acknowledging that this is this is not been great and they're going to surprise the world on a WrestleMania 42 weekend and I don't disagree with that like these guys are great athletes match they perform or phenomenal but what gets butts and seats is the creative so that's where they're lacking right now but nonetheless I think this is a topic for another day we make carried over maybe into next week's episode Dr. Trey when we've got some wiggle room. 172 00:26:36,540 --> 00:27:06,340 Here but I think WWE it's very interesting that WWE in 2026 is going back to the well of Roman Reigns Randy Orton CM Punk and Cody Rhodes because I think if you looked back 15 years ago and I said that those four names would be in there you probably say what the fuck is Cody Rhodes doing in there and the other three it's like those guys are still on top so you know it was around 15 years ago that everybody was complied with the 173 00:27:06,340 --> 00:27:15,340 complain like why are we doing rock and sina like why aren't we promoting the young guys and here we are nobody says that anymore and they have a very very deep and fun roster. 174 00:27:15,340 --> 00:27:17,340 Nonetheless there you go. 175 00:27:17,340 --> 00:27:18,340 Punk and Reigns. 176 00:27:18,340 --> 00:27:28,340 Jade Cargo re-arriply they began their build day at a good face off back and forth on Smackdown instead of the beginning of their push into a WrestleMania 42 match we talked about some of the stuff on social media last week Dr. Trey. 177 00:27:28,340 --> 00:27:32,340 I saw the segment on Smackdown and I really enjoyed it I felt both women brought it. 178 00:27:32,340 --> 00:27:41,340 Yeah well one thing Jade does really well is cut a promo people may knock her for a wrestling but she can cut a promo. 179 00:27:41,340 --> 00:28:01,340 Rhea is one of the best at cutting a promo so and it's also the best like as much as I love some of the other women on the roster when you see Rhea and Jade face to face you're like those are two monster women and I want to see them fight whether it's whether they're blurring the line of work shoot they don't like each other they do I don't care. 180 00:28:01,340 --> 00:28:13,340 Like those two behemoths in a lot of ways and I don't say that in a negative way like they're just two monstrously large women that athletically are superior to most of the roster. 181 00:28:13,340 --> 00:28:21,340 That looks like a WrestleMania match up to me so I'm glad it's trending in the right direction. 182 00:28:21,340 --> 00:28:48,340 The expected match I think Brock is back on this Monday edition of raw so is the Brock Lesnar versus to be determined Mike Johnson PW insider is now reporting to create the consensus among WWE sources is that Oba Femi is expected to be the person who challenges Brock Lesnar in WrestleMania adding quote we've had some who have asked about the potential of it being Gunther but no one we've spoken with believes that could be the direction I know that there's some to this. 183 00:28:48,340 --> 00:29:08,340 As well that this the belief is that this is Lesnar's last year they may want to save Gunther for that retirement match but they also don't want Oba to lose to Lesnar but they don't want Lesnar to take losses right now if this is a retirement year because they want to keep building them up so then you don't book Oba against Lesnar because Oba should go over on Lesnar in WrestleMania. 184 00:29:08,340 --> 00:29:13,340 Nonetheless we did see Oba Femi crush Rusev literally crush Rusev on Raw. 185 00:29:13,340 --> 00:29:23,340 It has felt like for some time that Oba and Brock was the direction here sources are getting a little bit hot to this doctorate thoughts on Oba Femi potentially be in the one to take on the beast. 186 00:29:23,340 --> 00:29:31,340 I because of all the reasons you laid out I don't like it because as much of a dream match as it is. 187 00:29:31,340 --> 00:29:41,340 What's the upside if Oba beats Brock then Brock does Brock lose a little luster in his retirement year whatever they do with it. 188 00:29:41,340 --> 00:29:48,340 Brock wins he's beating the new guy. It kind of reminds me when you know that rumble and Brock just beat the hell out of Braun Strowman in the rumble. 189 00:29:48,340 --> 00:30:14,340 You're like damn the only way I could see this is what if Heyman turns on Brock and brings Oba to his side and he's now the wise man advisor whatever you want to call it for Oba Femi along with the rest of the vision because you got break her out read out Seth's gone babyface and doing a minions gimmick right now I don't really know. 190 00:30:14,340 --> 00:30:24,340 But maybe that's the only direction is if Heyman costs Lesnar the match to Oba is the only way you kind of save both guys in that way. 191 00:30:24,340 --> 00:30:34,340 Some of the rumored slash what we are thinking you've got down here is this double forces defending the women's tag team champ against Charlotte flare and Alexa Bliss and the Bella twins. 192 00:30:34,340 --> 00:30:44,340 Maybe we add some more to this doctor we did see Charlotte and Alexa defeat Keanu James and Julian Smackdown it does feel like the direction of flare and Bliss is involved in the tag team championship. 193 00:30:44,340 --> 00:30:56,340 And then maybe throw in Oscar and Kyrie I mean because right now Bailey and Lyra are kind of in the I see division I guess because Bailey's now your number one contender right now. 194 00:30:56,340 --> 00:31:08,340 That could possibly do somebody turning on the other one that in WrestleMania so what do you do with Oscar and Kyrie in the meantime so maybe you throw them in the mix you get a four way for the women's tag belts. 195 00:31:08,340 --> 00:31:25,340 Let me jump to this so I have this down at the bottom of my sheet is actually going to be the last rumored slash what we are thinking but according reports doctor tray EO Sky versus Oscar is currently scheduled for WrestleMania 42 which is why WWE's intentionally avoided long periods of in ring action between the two. 196 00:31:25,340 --> 00:31:36,340 There is some internal support about potentially adding Kyrie saying and ending up with a triple threat as well again that comes to us from body slam net via wrestle purist on Twitter. 197 00:31:36,340 --> 00:31:41,340 Dr. Dre thoughts there maybe EO Sky versus Oscar and maybe the addition of Kyrie. 198 00:31:41,340 --> 00:31:48,340 EO trying to save Kyrie from Oscar they put Kyrie on the hangar above the ring and it's a ladder match. 199 00:31:48,340 --> 00:32:14,340 Winter gets Kyrie. She's up there in her old sailor garb just like on a okay we do it the old what's that the the crow's nest on a ship and whoever climbs the crow's nest pole Kyrie's up in the nest they have to rescue Kyrie down a little bit of a maybe a donkey con type thing I don't know it makes us I mean we saw the report couple we go that they're talking about seven matches for the women. 200 00:32:14,340 --> 00:32:28,340 And if that's the case I mean that's one more you can add to it I personally kind of guess I would say EO versus Oscar Kyrie finally turns on Oscar and goes baby face I guess and then you can EO Kyrie together. 201 00:32:28,340 --> 00:32:36,340 If that's the route they they that does free up Alexa and Charlotte along with the bell as to go against the air just a little forces. 202 00:32:36,340 --> 00:32:45,340 Yeah that that could be interesting I did not have EO sky versus Oscar my Vingo card but yeah it's nice to see the women getting showcase a little bit more without. 203 00:32:45,340 --> 00:33:05,340 Needed have a championship in there talk about championship stock to try I think the belief is AJ Lee versus Becky Lynch for the WWE women's intercontinental championship however Bailey did become the new number one contender she is a match with AJ Lee this Monday on raw do we think Bailey could get involved this and thing is in this entire little feud and match as well at WrestleMania. 204 00:33:05,340 --> 00:33:21,340 It's a possibility because Bailey and Becky have history and we we never really got the payoff from the Bailey multiple personalities angle no that just died out of nowhere yeah just died and Bailey went back to being kind of just baby face Bailey. 205 00:33:21,340 --> 00:33:32,340 Is it possible that we end up getting like the role model the man and AJ Lee and then maybe Lyra because that would give her Lyra a rub from having. 206 00:33:32,340 --> 00:33:45,340 Three future Hall of Famers and a match with her at WrestleMania for the intercontinental title so I don't know I still think we're just gonna get straight up AJ and Becky and then Bailey and Lyra finally break up down the line. 207 00:33:45,340 --> 00:33:56,340 The inter I think it makes sense to add Bailey to their playing off of last year's WrestleMania storyline where Becky took her out but yeah I put that very very minimal rain. 208 00:33:56,340 --> 00:34:16,340 I you we just want Bailey on WrestleMania because of last year I think absolutely you know like that was so screwy and stuff like that we just really want to see Bailey on WrestleMania and I didn't I've watched on really up from everything that I've seen online and from what I've heard is that Becky Lynch wanted Bailey and WrestleMania as well so yeah very shitty situation there. 209 00:34:16,340 --> 00:34:26,340 MFT I have down defending the design team championship against the Wyatt six and potentially now the new tag team of Damien Priest and our truth within a moment contenders down to try. 210 00:34:26,340 --> 00:34:38,340 Yeah the I'm trying to figure out like is it is that the like I don't know what you called priest and truth like the T shirt sellers like I don't know what I can't find a name either weapon time I don't know. 211 00:34:38,340 --> 00:34:56,340 Like I don't know like well the confessional because you have to split guts to your priest so you have to tell the truth to your priest so I like the confession I think I think they call themselves a judgment day and they bring back Ryan and somebody else will talk about here in a second. 212 00:34:56,340 --> 00:35:04,340 Yeah they just like there's all there's a there was the judgment day to you do judgment day and judgment day 2.0. 213 00:35:04,340 --> 00:35:09,340 That was the best time for the judgment day by the way. 214 00:35:09,340 --> 00:35:14,340 It Carlito shows up throwing a spin out apples we was go there. 215 00:35:14,340 --> 00:35:23,340 Yeah to me MFT's Wyatt's you throw priest and truth in there that's fine but I think they'll do the priest truth match probably before Mania. 216 00:35:23,340 --> 00:35:27,340 So it was just interesting the wise were in that match and then they still didn't win. 217 00:35:27,340 --> 00:35:36,340 So kind of it's kind of confusing how now you get to wrestle Mania with all with either all three teams or just the Wyatt's in the MFT's in it. 218 00:35:36,340 --> 00:35:43,340 I think they're going to be doing something like weird with solo and and Uncle Howdy also but that sounds so creepy. 219 00:35:43,340 --> 00:35:55,340 When you say something like rephrase this they're going to say we're with solo and Uncle Howdy just if you had said that sense to any person outside of the wrestling world they would have thought you were super creepy. 220 00:35:55,340 --> 00:36:04,340 Yeah I know I know this is true maybe like a Firefly fun house match I don't know so we'll say the mound do Baja Blast match. 221 00:36:04,340 --> 00:36:06,340 God brutal. 222 00:36:06,340 --> 00:36:21,340 All right next here is Penta defend the intercontinental championship against Dominic Mysterio and now the now former member of the judgment day Dr. Tray Finn Bauer as Finn Bauer gets kicked out of judgment day on this past Monday's edition of Monday and overall. 223 00:36:21,340 --> 00:36:46,340 Yeah interesting they made that interesting they moved the belt to Penta right before they do this because it feels weird now like if you just said hey it's me Dom and Finn and they kicked Finn out like I've been like okay that makes sense but now it almost was like Penta's the odd man out and he's the intercontinental champion so it's a weird kind of maneuvering I don't know if they'll put the belt back on Dom before wrestle Mania just to get the. 224 00:36:46,340 --> 00:36:53,340 The Dom and Finn one on one but if they do throw Penta and Ray Phoenix into one of the tag teams I don't match this. 225 00:36:53,340 --> 00:37:11,340 Yeah yeah maybe right I'm it's again the intercontinental championship if if if this was if Dom had the intercontinental title it's going to be Dom versus Finn that makes sense feels like a WrestleMania build but the Penta has it's like okay how do we get Penta in there if if Penta is in there. 226 00:37:11,340 --> 00:37:24,340 But then Dom went in a multi man match last year he did and that was he stole it from Finn and that was a great WrestleMania moment if you remember people are going nuts so Finn steals it back from Dom this year in a multi man match. 227 00:37:24,340 --> 00:37:27,340 Hey why not why not. 228 00:37:27,340 --> 00:37:48,340 Sammy's a versus Alessia Black I now have on the list after trade because Alessia Black is is you know basically telling Sammy he's got like an evil side in him and all the stuff and I'm watching the segment on Smackdown this past Friday I'm like this sounds like oddly familiar I'm like why does this sound familiar to me and I was like Jesus this is the carrying cross storyline being picked back up. 229 00:37:48,340 --> 00:37:58,340 Like from last year from last year and I know that there's I think carrying cross like teased that WWE reached out to him recently like specifically Paul Ayman. 230 00:37:58,340 --> 00:38:12,340 Part of me wonders like is carrying cross back in the fold like that would be that'd be weird and intriguing but as it stands right now this is the carrying cross storyline continuing forward with Sammy's in and Alessia Black potentially Dr. Trey. 231 00:38:12,340 --> 00:38:40,340 Yeah I saw that was like wow there's a creepy got guy with a girl by his side and they're telling Sammy that he is an evil side like where have I seen this before like oh yeah that was literally the same storyline from last year so people told me create WWE's creative flat and they recycle storylines they legitimately recycling a storyline from last year so like I'm fine with the match itself like on paper because those are two fantastic wrestlers but it's just. 232 00:38:40,340 --> 00:39:04,340 It is weird and then even if if you did bring crossback where would he fit in like do you put him in him and black together or this that you do have one creepy goth guy on one show and one creepy goth guy on another show I don't know how you do this yeah I don't know what is going on either so that just was like this is it was like an aha moment watching smack times like this is the carrying cross storyline. 233 00:39:04,340 --> 00:39:14,340 I don't have any other new ones to add your doctor anything that you're seeing on WWE television that makes you think they're going in specific direction right now for WrestleMania 42. 234 00:39:14,340 --> 00:39:33,340 Well I thought we were going to Americanos Battle of the Americanos they wrestle many but apparently we're doing that on Raw next week but that could and you could throw both the Americanos into the multi person match because Ill Grande Americano's a really big star in Triple A and a baby phase and OG's a heal and but on this line. 235 00:39:33,340 --> 00:39:38,340 They're not it's reverse so you can always throw them into the mix. 236 00:39:38,340 --> 00:39:57,340 But right now I think that's the majority of what I'm seeing as well yeah so we'll keep an eye out as we get closer and closer here to WrestleMania as the picture becomes a little bit clear moving on to NXT vengeance day we had this this past Saturday from the WWE performance center Orlando Florida doctor tray. 237 00:39:57,340 --> 00:40:04,340 It just felt like an extra edition of NXT television which we said it felt like it was going into it. 238 00:40:04,340 --> 00:40:21,340 We had Blake Monroe defeating Jada Parker in a street fight Tony D'Angelo defeating Dion Lennox, Tane and Paxley defeating Izzy Dame to win the NXT Women's North American Championship low-level ice to feeding Kalani Jordan in an NXT Underground match and Joe Hendry defeating Ricky Saints to retain the NXT Champion Chip. 239 00:40:21,340 --> 00:40:26,340 Any thoughts or takeaways from vengeance a this past Saturday not to try. 240 00:40:26,340 --> 00:40:34,340 If we predict this one I would have gone five and a like that was literally like in my head I'm like that's exactly how the shares should go. 241 00:40:34,340 --> 00:40:46,340 Nothing really to take away other than like where does Ethan Ricky starts Joe Henry story line go like are we going to you can't turn Ricky starts back to a baby phase. 242 00:40:46,340 --> 00:40:58,340 Ethan is not an Ethan's of the bet one of the best heels around so you can't turn him so like where is this storyline go coming out of out of vengeance day so I'm curious on that one. 243 00:40:58,340 --> 00:41:05,340 Everything else kind of made sense to me like you can't have like especially like Kalani Jordan you can't have her beat low-level vice in an underground match. 244 00:41:05,340 --> 00:41:12,340 The Tatum Paxley Izzy Dame stuff like that made sense giving you know good anything going on there. 245 00:41:12,340 --> 00:41:22,340 Blakeman wrote needed a win because it's outside this little feud like she's kind of fell flat since she lost the North American title. 246 00:41:22,340 --> 00:41:28,340 And Tony D's you know coming back like this badass killer you can't have him loses first you know. 247 00:41:28,340 --> 00:41:32,340 Is it was it a P.O. Lee I guess I mean. 248 00:41:32,340 --> 00:41:39,340 I guess reportedly this may this may have been the last NXT show on peacock because they're going to do stand deliver on YouTube by the way. 249 00:41:39,340 --> 00:41:51,340 All right well then you can't you can't have Tony D. Luz's first big match back given the course I mean help technically speaking he drove ava out of NXT theoretically yeah. 250 00:41:51,340 --> 00:42:02,340 So yeah it it was a fine show I thought it was just an extra edition of NXT I love the Joe Henry Ricky Saints Ethan Page stuff I think those three guys should be at the top of the chain. 251 00:42:02,340 --> 00:42:12,340 In NXT right now the Ethan Page character so much fun entertaining watch and you have three veterans at the top as it should be right now as they're kind of finding a new. 252 00:42:12,340 --> 00:42:23,340 Image and persona personality for the current run of NXT because I do feel like we're in a different error of NXT and speaking of errors doctor trade in NXT. 253 00:42:23,340 --> 00:42:48,340 One that stood out to me here another piece of NXT news this past Tuesday Charlie Debsi which they've been teasing for a while he joined the stable birthright which includes Lexus King your eye corners Ariana Grace all second third whatever generation wrestlers and of course stacks who does not have any family in professional wrestling that we know of maybe it's Tony Mama Luke or little Guido. 254 00:42:48,340 --> 00:43:12,340 But Charlie Debsi joins them but that's not really the big news item here doctor trade fit Finley and William Regal making appearance and that's what led to Charlie Debsi turning on TV and Heights and joining birthright and the reports after the show were expect that fit Finley and William Regal are on television more and that they lead this group and that has me excited because anytime fit Finley and William Regal are on my television it's a good thing. 255 00:43:12,340 --> 00:43:22,340 Thoughts here on the potential WWE legends because they're not all famous yet which is odd joining and leading this birthright group in NXT. 256 00:43:22,340 --> 00:43:41,340 I am a little confused not so much but I'm glad to see him back on TV I love some fit Finley I love some some William Regal when you have two leaders do you have none that's kind of that was kind of my thought process like I get why you're bringing him in because both men's sons are in this group. 257 00:43:41,340 --> 00:43:48,340 But it's just kind of like alright that's that's cool like if regals in charge of him great if it been fit great. 258 00:43:48,340 --> 00:43:56,340 I just wonder if one can do the talking and one can do the manager bumping in the other guy can't and that's why they're doing it. 259 00:43:56,340 --> 00:44:09,340 But I'm excited to see all these guys together because you know you know I have a history with Lexus King from his time in Rockets City you're out of Conor's Charlie Debsi Ava like I love all these people so I'm glad to see them kind of bringing this together. 260 00:44:09,340 --> 00:44:34,340 My only worry is we haven't done very well with stables in NXT in a while dark state sorrow hot and is kind of fizzled out we we they it is weird in this world of WWE where you have triple age we can't produce top heels and we have Shawn Michaels who is struggling with keeping stables going in NXT. 261 00:44:34,340 --> 00:44:49,340 It's kind of weird that's where we're at right now but I'm excited on paper for all these people being together maybe they can feel with the calling and we get a Sean Spears baby face I don't know I'm just I don't know what you do when you have a large group of heels and there's not a lot of baby faces to fight. 262 00:44:49,340 --> 00:45:03,340 First off shout out to Lexus King who I think has been doing a great job with birthright and I'm stoked for fit Finley and William Regal being on there but I agree with you it's definitely transitional time in NXT right now. 263 00:45:03,340 --> 00:45:17,340 So I'm excited to see where things go for the birthright stable because having those guys involved is a pretty big deal fit Finley and William Regal who should just Robert so into a great job by the way as a character as the NXT general manager in a next generation. 264 00:45:17,340 --> 00:45:46,340 Yeah he's been so good for the last couple of years when he was kind of the lackey for Ava then when the when the girl was there that they fired when he was kind of her lackey like he's done a really good job even going back to when he was managing the guy that got the mean Mike he knows the son that they got rid of but he was a manager going all back to them like he's been really good and in WWE just very very underrated for his performances over the last four or five years. 265 00:45:46,340 --> 00:45:58,340 It's amazing that he's the same guy that was Robbie in TNA so and we props to him but I do feel like having William Regal on television it's like can we please make him general manager just so he can save more games. 266 00:45:58,340 --> 00:46:15,340 All right and then last thing here Dr. Trey we have Ava revolution this Sunday from the crypto dot com arena in Los Angeles California there are 13 matches announced so far on the pre show you've got ricochet into muscle champion champa in a 21 man black. 267 00:46:15,340 --> 00:46:36,340 Jack Battle Royal for the AW national championship that will take place on zero hours so there's 19 people still to be announced we did see to also champa turn on mark brisco on collision pull a DIY on mark brisco this past Saturday night will a night and go take on lennacross the recently new sign E from Australia for the AW TV as championship again on a zero hour match. 268 00:46:36,340 --> 00:46:52,340 I don't know why this guy keeps getting matches but here we are big boom AJ versus to be announced on trite a leel versus bandito on the main show Brody King versus Swarth Strickland timeless only storm versus marine ish a fear where everyone has been from ringside Darby Allen orange cast in the returning 269 00:46:52,340 --> 00:47:18,340 Roderick strong take on the dogs David Finley Clark Conner's and Gabe kid in a trio match. FTR takes on the young bucks for the AW world tag team championship John Moxley takes on conoscate to Kesha name no time limit match for the AW continental championship and we've seen conoscate to Kesha asked the Don Calisthen we do stop attacking John Mack Moxley over the last week or so on collision dynamite the Don Calis family because it's got a Kyle Fletcher mark Davis will be taking on ms. 270 00:47:18,340 --> 00:47:45,340 And I think that maybe coming especially the way that he's been bucked maybe a marty genetic on Michael situation and I will also add that the Kyle Fletcher versus the football Mike Bailey matches past one day maybe one of the best dynamite matches I've ever seen legitimately that match was incredible. 271 00:47:45,340 --> 00:48:06,340 The Babies of Wrath Harley Cameron and Willow Knight and yellow we also take it on Megan Bain and Lenek Ross double double duty for both for the AW world women's world tag team championship tech versus Chris that lander into two out of three falls match for the AW women's world championship and then the main event here as MJF versus hangman Adam Page in a last chance Texas death match for the AW world championship. 272 00:48:06,340 --> 00:48:18,340 If Adam pages loses he can never challenge for the title again Dr. Trey your thoughts on the AW collision excuse me AW revolution card. 273 00:48:18,340 --> 00:48:27,340 Top to bottom one of the best cards I've seen not in built it's been really really well built all of those story lines. 274 00:48:27,340 --> 00:48:41,340 And maybe outside of the the trio's tag title match you know because you're having to replace hangman with mistico a little bit of a short turnaround time on that one. 275 00:48:41,340 --> 00:48:56,340 Roderick strong getting involved with Darby Allen Orange Cassie when Roderick came out and said I think he walked out on works coisco we're basically he said he's not part of the conglomeration but from everything else from top to bottom just a really well built card. 276 00:48:56,340 --> 00:49:13,340 Story lines great story telling like I am right now Jeff I'm more excited for AW revolution than I am the WrestleMania card because of how well this card has been built so kudos to the AW crates after putting together a hell of a show and a hell of a build it to it just. 277 00:49:13,340 --> 00:49:16,340 I don't know if I can last six hours watching it though. 278 00:49:16,340 --> 00:49:25,340 Yeah that's the problem right I mean 13 matches when I was looking at the card to get things together I'm like this is crazy like that's that's way too much I don't have 18 hours. 279 00:49:25,340 --> 00:49:31,340 And if you had in that so you got the zero hour battle royal match that's going to take some time you got 21 people in it. 280 00:49:31,340 --> 00:49:46,340 You have tech love and in crystal and or two out of three falls match like where do you go to do the short change match like where do you get like the three minute match or the five minute match to bring down the time on the card otherwise you're looking at a six hour show. 281 00:49:46,340 --> 00:50:02,340 So at least from start to finish for 13 matches I mean it's it's a crazy big show but I like I said earlier like I give them a ton of credit this has been some of their best creative work for a show this big and quite some time. 282 00:50:02,340 --> 00:50:12,340 I totally agree I think this has been through the first quarter of 2026 I think this has been AW's year so far and it's showing it's creatively the matches. 283 00:50:12,340 --> 00:50:27,340 I don't know how you felt after try but going back to the speedball Mike Bailey Kyle Fletcher match it just came out of nowhere I mean both these guys are extremely talented TNT title on the line and I was watching the match as it was going I was like I think this is like one of my favorite matches in dynamite history. 284 00:50:27,340 --> 00:50:32,340 I mean that is a match I would go back and rewatch that's how much I enjoyed it. 285 00:50:32,340 --> 00:50:51,340 It's weird for me watching I'm I'm it's I like watching speedball Mike Bailey as a wrestler I just don't like his look because he looks like if Scott Steiner and the Tonga kid had a baby like it's the hair and the bear fee I don't know what it is like an early 90s character right like it's 19 free you're getting shivers I get it. 286 00:50:51,340 --> 00:51:11,340 Yeah he's so good in the ring though as it kind of overshadows it but yeah like that's it reminded me of the of the connell classic tournament like there's a couple matches in there that were like sleep you know like really fantastic matches you're just like why do we not build this up more not it's just like hey by the way Fletcher and a speedball this week check it out. 287 00:51:11,340 --> 00:51:39,340 It's like you gave that match like 20 25 minutes and those guys absolutely killed it and like no promotion nothing for it really like that was it but I really hope because speedball does have the same haircut as Marty Jenetti when he got thrown through the barbershop window it does feel like that's coming right yeah no Kevin nice I saw the promo like before he wrestled mjf like the promos coming off very healish kind of like 288 00:51:39,340 --> 00:52:04,340 Ricky Stark's heel run as type stuff in a w and I'm like all right yeah I can see him and Swarve teaming up banding together Swarve recruiting somebody else and I will be surprised to see Swarve recruit the Swarve and his group down the line as well and then you get you Swarve you Swarve Kevin and the Swarve altogether maybe a J. Lethal in there too. 289 00:52:04,340 --> 00:52:22,340 The only thing is is I eventually see jet speed break up with everybody feels that's coming right Kevin night more likely to to to be the heel and break out a little bit get him a world title run get him a run with a world tag team championship like that is a tag team that I've enjoyed that needs at least get a run with the tag team titles. 290 00:52:22,340 --> 00:52:35,340 Well he doesn't he holds a win over O'Cottas maybe at least give him the continental intercotto I lost track international international is there's an international a continental in a national am I correct. 291 00:52:35,340 --> 00:52:50,340 Yes yes that is true I'm just I'm just trying to get my my GPS location for title belts down it's way too many titles and we're not even into the ROH side of things so yeah anyway there you go 292 00:52:50,340 --> 00:53:11,340 AW revolution this Sunday on pay per view HBO Max where you get it in the crypto dot com arena in Los Angeles California look at for me recapping that show on next week's edition of SRT you with that said let's get a couple plugs and sponsors out of the way you can download the show at patreon dot com slash SRT you podcasts. 293 00:53:11,340 --> 00:53:27,340 It is all free you decide up as a free member you get the show free immediately when it's done and available for download add free up at patreon dot com slash SRT you podcasts you can also check us out on our feed on Apple spotify wherever you download this podcast don't forget to rate review subscribe. 294 00:53:27,340 --> 00:53:40,340 You can follow us individually on X for myself at SRT you Jeff for not sure if frankly let it D doctor tray and of course don't forget to fall show on X at SRT you podcast with that being said what is going on the wonderful world of Dr Franklin this week. 295 00:53:40,340 --> 00:53:59,340 Well like Jeff said you can follow me on X at the doctor tray you can find me on Facebook and Instagram Dr. Trey Franklin when you're on Facebook check you got there check out a rock is the championship wrestling just had a huge show this past Saturday got our next show coming up on the 14th which would be next Saturday. 296 00:53:59,340 --> 00:54:04,340 No that's not correct my math soft.
