- 0:45SPEAKER_00: Hello, hello everyone, and welcome back to another episode of the Live Well Podcast.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: I am so excited because in today's episode, we are doing the highly requested product faves.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: You guys are always asking me what's my favorite product for like hair, shampoo, conditioner, mascara, whatever it is.
- 1:04SPEAKER_00: And so I have rounded up the game changers, the things that I have changed my life.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: They're like markedly better than other things out there.
- 1:13SPEAKER_00: I've probably repurchased them at least once, if not several times.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: Um, or like I will when it runs out because I'm just like obsessed with them.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: I am a very, if you don't know this about me, a very extreme person.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: I either am like ugh or I love it.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: So when I love something, I'm like, I'm zero to 100.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: So when I love it, I truly, truly love it.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: We have so many different categories.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: I've got some foods, like not foods like avocado, though I do love avocado, but like specific things.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: Supplements, face, skin, hair, makeup, and home.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: If there is a product that I didn't mention that you kind of want a recommendation of what my favorite is, I know I took a poll on Instagram and I'm pretty sure I got them all.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: But if there is something and you want a recommendation, definitely let me know.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: But with that being said, let's go ahead and jump in.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: So we're gonna start with my favorite, which is food.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: Surprise, surprise.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: Number one, ceremonial cacao.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: I use Keith's.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: Keith's is my ride or die fave.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: I have bought probably three blocks of it by now.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: It comes in a giant hard brick block of cacao, and you cut off a piece and you make ceremonial cacao with it.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: You guys know I love my cacao ceremonies, so I use this for this one.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: This is a very good grade.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: It is the OG ceremonial cacao.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: Um, Keith is like the shaman of cacao.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: It is so well sourced, it's harvested from like farmers ethically, they are paid good wages, like all that amazing stuff, but it also like tastes really good.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: And the amount of like heart opening and bliss and amazingness I feel when I drink Keith's, it's noticeably different.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: So if you're unfamiliar with ceremonial gray cacao, it is more of like a ritual experience, it's definitely more of a spiritual experience.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: You will definitely feel kind of like this bliss heart opening.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: Yes, it's also loaded with magnesium and antioxidants, but ceremonial cacao has been used for thousands of years to really help you to connect to higher dimensions and higher consciousness, which is why I use it.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: It also tastes really good.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: I make mine with just a little bit of water, so I like mine like thick and small.
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: It's like the size of maybe like a cortado, like you don't make an eight-ounce thing of you know, cereal cacao.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: It's like three, four ounces, it's very rich, chocolatey.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: I now started adding like some element chocolate salt to it.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: It sounds it's so good.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: Um, sometimes a dash of vanilla, but it's really good just with water.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: You could do it more milky, but I find the water it honestly tastes better in my opinion.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: It tastes more ceremonial than adding milk.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: So I like my ceremonial cacao with just water, but Keith's OG.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: I actually remind me, I I maybe I think I have to buy some more soon.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: So that's reminded me.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: Alright, next, molden salt.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: If you have not tried molden salt, it is my favorite salt probably of 2021, yeah, 2021 and now going into 2022.
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: It's just the perfect finishing salt, salt for baking.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: It comes in these large flakes.
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: The salt comes in a box, it lasts forever.
- 4:25SPEAKER_00: So if you think it's$11 for some salt, it's probably gonna last you a few years, like to be honest.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: So it's so fancy.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: I love it.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: It just adds that little finesse, plus the giant flakes when you're putting that on like chocolate chip cookies or you're finishing off a dish.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: I just I honestly adore it.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: So highly recommend Malden Salt.
- 4:44SPEAKER_00: They also have a smoked version, which I haven't tried, but would be enthused to try.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: I just get the plain one and it's so so good.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I've had it for like a year and I haven't even like made that big of a dent.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: So all right, the next thing is smoked paprika.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: And I know what you're thinking.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: You're like, Liv, your favorite is a spice.
- 5:05SPEAKER_00: I mean, I do really love the Simply Organic.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: I can give you a brand.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: There we go.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: But the reason I want to mention smoked paprika is that I don't think you understand how delicious smoked paprika is on most things.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: On sweet potato, divine.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: On chicken, so good.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: On beef, so good.
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: Like it's just it's so good in so many things.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: In tuna, tuna salad fish.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: Ooh, that reminds me of 290 before I leave.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: Sorry.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: Random tangent.
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: I'm going to make a note of that right now.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: Sorry guys.
- 5:35SPEAKER_00: You guys don't want to forget.
- 5:37SPEAKER_00: Um yeah, smoked paprika is just my probably my favorite spice.
- 5:41SPEAKER_00: If I had to choose like one spice, I think most people would think you would choose like garlic powder, but no, I would choose smoked paprika.
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: And going along with that, my next food favorite is squeezable tahini.
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: Now, you might be thinking, why getting tahini in a squeeze bottle version is so uh good.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: It's so much easier.
- 6:06SPEAKER_00: I love it.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: You just drizzle some on to like pretty much anything, and it uh just elevates the dish.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: I drizzle it on like my bowls with like chicken, veggies, pickled onions, you know, roasted veggies, it's good on.
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: It's good on like honestly, any meat.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: It I even use it in like Asian sauces, so I'll squeeze some in with some um coconut aminos, some ground ginger.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: Beautiful, like done.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: Squeezable tahini, trust me, just makes your life so much easier.
- 6:33SPEAKER_00: And there's only one ingredient in the brands that I've used.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: Get yourself some squeezable tahini.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: It's one of those things where like the convenience of like the extra like dollar more for the squeezable version makes your life so much easier and makes healthy food so delicious because tahini is amazing.
- 6:48SPEAKER_00: Alright, my next food favorite is actually blue lotus tea, which is a new addition for me.
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: Blue lotus tea is really good for relaxing, it's really good for opening up your intuition and for meditation, and it's also really good for your third eye and kind of having vivid dreams that are like astral vivid dreams.
- 7:11SPEAKER_00: So if any of that appeals to you, blue lotus tea, I use the Amina, Amina Mundi brand.
- 7:17SPEAKER_00: It's like a brown label, Amina Mundi.
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: If you Google that, you'll definitely find it.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: I really like it.
- 7:23SPEAKER_00: Again, I use it intentionally for when I'm kind of wanting to activate those properties.
- 7:28SPEAKER_00: Don't get me wrong, I have a bunch of other like favorite teas.
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: Like you guys know, I've loved dandelion, chamomile, peppermint, ginger for like years.
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: But this is like something different that I've been using that I'm kind of a big fan of.
- 7:41SPEAKER_00: So these are some of like the food, then I'm gonna call it the food products.
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: There's probably more products that I'm forgetting.
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: Oh, fresh aloe.
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: Let's also do fresh aloe.
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: Fresh aloe cubes, or just like fresh aloe in general.
- 7:55SPEAKER_00: I have been loving it.
- 7:57SPEAKER_00: It's so good for your digestion, it's so good for your skin.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: People have actually been complimenting me that I'm more glowing than normal.
- 8:04SPEAKER_00: And I haven't changed any of my face products.
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: Though, like, don't get me wrong, the ones I'm gonna mention now make you glow, but like I just noticed like an extra oomph, like an extra plump, like an extra juiciness in my face, and then digestion-wise, um, that was really like a game changer, especially when I quit caffeine, it just helped everything kind of flow.
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: So those are my food favorites.
- 8:26SPEAKER_00: Let's go ahead.
- 8:27SPEAKER_00: I don't think there's any more.
- 8:28SPEAKER_00: Like I said, there's probably like some recipe favorites, but maybe you should go and look on my Instagram for that because oh, I think I could probably be here all day if I was gonna talk about food.
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: All right, so let's move on to supplements.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: Before I dive into my favorite ones, I do want to mention that of course everyone's supplement recommendations are going to differ.
- 8:48SPEAKER_00: I am not using this to like prescribe you supplements.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: I'm sharing the game changers that I think would be a game changer for you as well.
- 8:58SPEAKER_00: And like versus not everyone needs like Vitex or whatever it is, right?
- 9:01SPEAKER_00: So I'm gonna talk about ones that I think anyone listening can and should, like, I would recommend having in your arsenal, if you will.
- 9:09SPEAKER_00: Alright.
- 9:09SPEAKER_00: The first one has not been that long that I've been taking, maybe like a month now, but like I've already repurchased and I purchased it the first time, like I was not sent it, I was not gifted it, I bought it and I'm buying it again, and that is Ned CBD.
- 9:24SPEAKER_00: I don't well, I had tried CBD like maybe once before, and I was like, uh, I didn't really like it, but I had heard such good things about Ned and their brand, the fact that it's cold extracted, the fact that they use the whole part, um, the whole active part of the hemp plant, the fact that it's third-party tested, it's just like the highest quality.
- 9:45SPEAKER_00: Know that like with all these supplements I'm recommending, you get what you pay for.
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: So you honestly want to be aware of like you're better off buying less things but quality brands than ones that are really bad, especially like CBD.
- 9:59SPEAKER_00: You do not want to be taking a bad quality CBD.
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: Good CBD is not cheap.
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna lie.
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: A good CBD, I think.
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: My I got the NED, but I got the I got the highest one, I got the 1500.
- 10:11SPEAKER_00: I want to say it was 170 US.
- 10:15SPEAKER_00: You don't have to get necessarily the highest strength, you can get a lower strength dose, but I was like, go harder, go home.
- 10:21SPEAKER_00: Um, but you do want to make sure that it is quality with supplements.
- 10:24SPEAKER_00: Quality is so so important because some of those other brands can do more harm than good.
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: So things I've noticed from Ned, I sleep a hell of a lot better.
- 10:33SPEAKER_00: Now, I do a lot of work when I'm sleeping, and when I say I do a lot of work, I travel in the astral, my subconscious mind is actively healing things.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: Like, guys, not gonna lie, three weeks ago in my dream, it was like a round table between me and all these people who had hurt me, and we were having conversations, like I was in third person of like what would help live, and blah, it was just it was insane.
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: I was like, of course, my my brain does this at night when I'm trying to like sleep.
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: It's it's healing.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: I mean it's beautiful, but Ned helps me wake up more rested, it helps me get a deeper sleep.
- 11:05SPEAKER_00: I also do like um a few drops in the daytime sometimes.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: If I feel like I want like calm focus, I'll do that.
- 11:12SPEAKER_00: My digestion has been better, everything I've just felt more calm, bliss, but maybe that's also because of the better sleep, because I'm going deeper.
- 11:21SPEAKER_00: Um, so highly, highly recommend.
- 11:23SPEAKER_00: I think no matter who you are, if any of those benefits are you're like you need help with sleep, digestion, even mood, Ned CBD, or if you ever want to try a CBD, a hundred percent Ned, I've done my research, they've done their research, and it's the only brand I I would take.
- 11:42SPEAKER_00: All right, moving on next is Symbiotica, which is a brand.
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: I use their B12.
- 11:50SPEAKER_00: I want to try actually a couple of their other products, their Sheila Jeet and their magnesium, I want to try, but I love their B12.
- 11:56SPEAKER_00: Again, this is a brand that knows what the hell they are doing.
- 12:00SPEAKER_00: I always love liquid over capsule forms for like everything, especially supplements.
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: Um, it is better absorbed, so liquids are always gonna be better absorbed than capsules.
- 12:10SPEAKER_00: So if you're someone that hates capsules and prefers liquids, take the liquids because you're even doing yourself a bigger favor.
- 12:16SPEAKER_00: So I love, yeah, the Symbiotica B12.
- 12:19SPEAKER_00: It is, you just put like 12 squirts in your mouth.
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: It's so good for memory, cognition, it's good for energy support.
- 12:26SPEAKER_00: Um, B12, you really need, I mean, I think there's a mixture actually of other things in it.
- 12:30SPEAKER_00: There's B12, I think there's some B6, and there's also folate.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: So I like that it's a blend.
- 12:35SPEAKER_00: It's a highly absorbable one.
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: Again, this is a brand that does their research.
- 12:39SPEAKER_00: Not sponsored, I by the way, by like Ned or Symbiotica, but I just want to be honest.
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: Like, I purchased them, will not repurchase them, and notice a difference when I take these because of the quality.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: I also really stand behind like the whole Symbiotica brand and like their culture, the owner.
- 12:56SPEAKER_00: Um, like I said, I've done my research, so I would recommend the B12 from Symbiotica.
- 13:02SPEAKER_00: They ship to US and Canada.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: I notice they have like a Brampton warehouse in Canada, which is in Ontario, if you don't know.
- 13:08SPEAKER_00: So you can get it either orb.
- 13:10SPEAKER_00: And I do want to try their magnesium theonate.
- 13:13SPEAKER_00: I do use the liposeric magnesium L theonate, which I will get to um in this list, but I also want to try that one.
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: So if I were to recommend, I would say the B12 and the magnesium one, and then I think I'm gonna try the Sheila Jeet as well next.
- 13:26SPEAKER_00: But number one, the one I know, love, and tried is the Symbiotica B12.
- 13:32SPEAKER_00: Really good quality, makes a difference.
- 13:35SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's another thing I'll say is that dose is very important when you are taking things in order to have an effect.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: So I'm gonna use an example with this, and then an example that I see uh on trendy Instagram that just like hurts my brain, and it's so kind of cringe.
- 13:53SPEAKER_00: All right, so like the symbiotica says 12 pumps per dose.
- 13:57SPEAKER_00: So if you go and you take a liquid, because it's like a little pump, and you pump two or three, well, that's not a full dose.
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: You're not gonna, you know, see effects.
- 14:04SPEAKER_00: You have to take the full dose, which is 12 pumps every single day.
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: Similar to the chlorophyll water thing I see trending, people put like two, three drops of chlorophyll in their water.
- 14:14SPEAKER_00: Well, the therapeutic dose for actually the chlorophyll to do something is like a full drop or full.
- 14:19SPEAKER_00: So make sure you know what the actual doses are the things that you're taking, or work with someone to do so, like me, so that we can actually get you taking enough to elicit a difference.
- 14:30SPEAKER_00: I also had a question about whether I would recommend like Nature's Bounty and Jameson or Kirkland and all that.
- 14:36SPEAKER_00: Please stay away from vitamins from Costco or Jameson or Nature's Bounty or Weber Naturals or basically if it seems too cheap like to be true, stay away.
- 14:50SPEAKER_00: That's all I'm gonna say on that.
- 14:51SPEAKER_00: Like make your like invest in good quality supplements, buy less of them, but buy good quality ones or get things from food.
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: So if you're not going to be using like a high quality supplement, like instead of buying omega-3s from Costco, buy the hemp hearts at Costco and get your omega 3s that way versus having an omega-3 oil that's partly omega-3, partly canola oil, which is so inflammatory and harmful that the omega-3 is doing nothing, right?
- 15:19SPEAKER_00: So that is what I'll say on that.
- 15:22SPEAKER_00: The next brand thing I want to mention is Tween Fontaine Farm.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 15:28SPEAKER_00: Nah, I'm gonna spell it T-W-E-E-N-F-O-N-T-E-I-N Farm.
- 15:34SPEAKER_00: If you have trouble finding it, I mean I can post this on my story for sure.
- 15:37SPEAKER_00: I discovered these in a market in New York City.
- 15:41SPEAKER_00: I can't even tell you.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: I was walking to the market, and that's very overwhelming at the Christmas market, right?
- 15:45SPEAKER_00: There were so many things, and my intuition was just like go over here.
- 15:48SPEAKER_00: It like yelled at me, and there was this farm stand, and they had all of these like elixir and teas.
- 15:55SPEAKER_00: I have tried lots and lots of different adaptogen tinctures, energy support tinctures, all the things like that.
- 16:05SPEAKER_00: The one I tried from them is called their energy elixir.
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: Whoa.
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: Now, this was the um when I was giving up coffee, so I was feeling the effects of not having caffeine.
- 16:16SPEAKER_00: And like I when I mean I was feeling the effects, I mean I didn't have enough energy to walk around the city.
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: I knew I need to pick me up, but didn't want to go back to caffeine, right?
- 16:24SPEAKER_00: So I got this, and it within like 15-20 minutes of taking the one tablespoon, like it was it was a game changer.
- 16:31SPEAKER_00: I was alert, but not in jittery, so not like that caffeine heart racing.
- 16:35SPEAKER_00: It was like a calm, energized focus.
- 16:38SPEAKER_00: I bought, like obviously, I bought it, that's why I tried it, and like I've used it since.
- 16:41SPEAKER_00: And anytime I need like a little boost, I take some of that and it works so so well.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: Actually, you know what I'm gonna do?
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna go get it right now.
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna read the ingredients to you.
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: It's so it's such a cool bottle, too.
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: We have Ginkgo Baloba, Siberian ginseng, oat seed, holy basil, sentia leaf, gorana seed, yurba mate leaf, ginger root, areola cherry.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: Uh no.
- 17:08SPEAKER_00: You guys know what I mean.
- 17:09SPEAKER_00: Cayenne, um, cacao, and yeah, alcohol.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: So, yes, it has have a little bit of caffeine, but the caffeine distilled from the the teas is not like the caffeine you'd get in c in like a full cup of coffee, that makes sense.
- 17:24SPEAKER_00: So that was really helping me kind of wean off or when I need a little bit.
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: Truth be told, I do have like a matcha or some a little bit of caffeine here and there now.
- 17:32SPEAKER_00: Um, I just don't have like two giant cups a day.
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: So that was really helping me if you need energy support.
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: Really a big fan of them.
- 17:39SPEAKER_00: They're also a tiny farm, they ship to Canada or the US.
- 17:43SPEAKER_00: I also got their detox tea.
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: Probably the best detox tea slash one of the best teas I've ever had in my life.
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: Highly recommend their detox tea.
- 17:52SPEAKER_00: It was so good.
- 17:53SPEAKER_00: Again, once I'm settled at home, I'm gonna do a restock.
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: I just don't want to order and like have to carry it back, or I have enough stuff that I have to carry.
- 18:01SPEAKER_00: Um, so I'm definitely gonna be reordering those and I want to try a few more of their products, but those are two that I'm obsessed with.
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: Have the tea like every day.
- 18:09SPEAKER_00: It's so good.
- 18:11SPEAKER_00: Alright, the next one I want to move on, guys.
- 18:13SPEAKER_00: This is gonna be a long episode, but you're gonna get all my top faves and like you can make notes.
- 18:18SPEAKER_00: Alright, the next one is array.
- 18:20SPEAKER_00: I have been a big fan of array, I am a fan of the founders of array, like Seth is a gem.
- 18:25SPEAKER_00: She's actually been on the podcast.
- 18:27SPEAKER_00: It is one like the best supplement for digestion that I have ever used.
- 18:34SPEAKER_00: Now, it is a symptomatic, it's a natural, like there's no fillers.
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: It works.
- 18:40SPEAKER_00: Like a lot of the other ones don't work.
- 18:43SPEAKER_00: The I like both the bloat and the calm.
- 18:45SPEAKER_00: I've repurchased both um several times.
- 18:47SPEAKER_00: I like to have the calm on hand in case things come up.
- 18:50SPEAKER_00: Like if um stressful, like not stressful, travel is really stressful, or there's just like a lot on my plate that day and I need calm focus, I will use the array.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah, because it kind of just like calms you down, but doesn't make you sleepy or drowsy, which I like.
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: The thing is with a lot of other natural, um like calming like nervines, they can put you to sleep.
- 19:11SPEAKER_00: So when I like would take passion flower, that put me to sleep.
- 19:14SPEAKER_00: And obviously, you want to be calm, but you don't necessarily want to be sleepy for your workday.
- 19:18SPEAKER_00: Highly recommend the array calm.
- 19:19SPEAKER_00: Now the array bloat, again, I have repurchased I don't know how many over the last few years, maybe like six.
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: I use this when I'm eating either out or like making more indulgent meals things at at home.
- 19:35SPEAKER_00: It is a like band-aid for like why like it basically upregulates your enzymes and helps you digest more.
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: However, I will say you shouldn't need them for every single meal.
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: If you're like having a like plain chicken and vegetables, right, you shouldn't need it.
- 19:53SPEAKER_00: It's like like I said, those more indulgent meals or when eating out, where there's just more dense foods and more indulgent foods that your body just needs a little bit of extra support to digest.
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: So that's how I use the array bloat.
- 20:07SPEAKER_00: It won't really, I mean it has a little bit of slippery elm, it might heal, but like there are much better ones if you're looking to heal your gut that you should take.
- 20:15SPEAKER_00: This is more of while you are healing your gut, you can take this to help.
- 20:19SPEAKER_00: Or if you are going out, you know, for pizza or whatever, something that's more indulgent, um, that is when I will have it.
- 20:26SPEAKER_00: And I take the full dose every time, so I take three every time when I do it.
- 20:29SPEAKER_00: Um, just because I find like three works for me.
- 20:32SPEAKER_00: One, I don't file as enough, two, like two, and three, I feel is like the proper dose for those more indulgent meals.
- 20:39SPEAKER_00: So, like I said, repurchased many, many times, will continue to repurchase.
- 20:44SPEAKER_00: It's just so good.
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: Alright, next up is Organifi.
- 20:48SPEAKER_00: Again, another thing that I discovered in 2021, and I don't know what I was like, I've been missing out.
- 20:53SPEAKER_00: I have fallen in love with two Organifi products, Organifi Greens and Organifi Chocolate Gold.
- 20:59SPEAKER_00: So good.
- 21:00SPEAKER_00: I you guys know I do have a um a discount cow that I will leave in the description box.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: I think it's keep up with live and you get 20% off.
- 21:07SPEAKER_00: I have repurchased with my own money, I think twice, like two more rounds over than when they initially sent me some.
- 21:16SPEAKER_00: Again, which just shows you that like my ride or die.
- 21:18SPEAKER_00: I have the greens juice every single day.
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: Um, I was out of it for a couple weeks.
- 21:23SPEAKER_00: You guys saw I was doing my green smoothie.
- 21:24SPEAKER_00: I now re-got it, and so we have it now, so now I'm adding that to my green smoothie, or I'll have it just by itself if I'm not having a green smoothie that day.
- 21:32SPEAKER_00: Love the greens, it is really good for supporting your liver detox.
- 21:36SPEAKER_00: It has chlorella, splerulina, it has so many good green, like I said, greens in it.
- 21:41SPEAKER_00: The quality is good, it tastes good in water.
- 21:43SPEAKER_00: This is what I will say I have never found as good a greens tasting powder as Organifi, to the point where I repurchased it, like I think twice now.
- 21:53SPEAKER_00: And each one I think has I don't know how many servings, but it's really good.
- 21:56SPEAKER_00: So highly recommend the Organifi Green.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Greens for getting some greens in.
- 22:01SPEAKER_00: I have it in the morning before anything else.
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: So on an empty stomach.
- 22:05SPEAKER_00: I think it also has ginzing in it.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: Or maybe that's the red.
- 22:08SPEAKER_00: Hmm.
- 22:08SPEAKER_00: Either way, I adore the Organify Greens.
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: I notice a difference when I use it versus when I don't, both in like my energy, just how like my body's not as sluggish.
- 22:19SPEAKER_00: It just yeah, it's not as sluggish.
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: It just keeps moving.
- 22:22SPEAKER_00: More energy, like I said.
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, those are all the things I love about the greens.
- 22:26SPEAKER_00: So I would highly recommend that.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: It's good enough that like I'm bringing it to my next location and like I'm allowing it to take up the space in my suitcase, right?
- 22:35SPEAKER_00: So like that's how good it is.
- 22:37SPEAKER_00: Then the Organify Chocolate Gold.
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: It is like the best hot chocolate you will ever have with one, like I think it's one gram of sugar.
- 22:45SPEAKER_00: It tastes good, tastes good with just water, you don't need milk, and it has so many good relaxation adaptogens to help you get a deeper sleep.
- 22:54SPEAKER_00: I love to wind on with this at night.
- 22:56SPEAKER_00: Again, this is probably something I have four to five times a week.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: It is so good, it is definitely worth it 1000%, especially because, and this is going back to the therapeutic dosage, it actually has a legitimate dosage of the adaptogens in there versus other brands.
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: I've noticed, I don't want to say scam you, but pretty much like this the amount of the adaptogens in there when either you look at the package or me when I've reached out to them and when they've wanted to like collaborate, or it's not even a dose that's gonna do anything.
- 23:30SPEAKER_00: Like you'd have to use like seven scoops of the thing, and then it would just be weight, like it would just wouldn't make sense, right?
- 23:36SPEAKER_00: Like you couldn't actually get enough.
- 23:37SPEAKER_00: However, Organifi, you get enough, and so that's something to factor in when you're looking at it, is that you're actually getting like a medicinal amount in each cup, which is a game changer.
- 23:50SPEAKER_00: That is why, like, maybe if you were to compare it to like$20, you know, hot chocolate gold with like adaptogens, that's why those other ones are$20, is because it doesn't actually have that level of dose that's actually going to do something for you in your body.
- 24:04SPEAKER_00: All right, and so this is what I mean by like pick and choose the things that you feel like you need.
- 24:09SPEAKER_00: You know, I'm not gonna lie though, I do love my like organified chocolate gold, and then I have my NED CBD, and it's just it is a vibe, but if you had to choose, um choosing whatever you feel works for you and what you feel like you need supported.
- 24:23SPEAKER_00: All right, I obviously could not end supplements without talking about element.
- 24:29SPEAKER_00: I have been I've been obsessed with element, like I use it every day, at least one packet a day, depending on how busy I am sweating and how much energy work I'm doing.
- 24:40SPEAKER_00: They recently gave me, they sent me some element after like me buying it for a year and tagging them and being like, please sponsor me and keep up with live.
- 24:50SPEAKER_00: I'm so I'm really pumped that they finally did.
- 24:52SPEAKER_00: And then they were able to give me a link for you guys to get a free sample pack.
- 24:57SPEAKER_00: So if you click the link, I'll put it again in the description.
- 25:00SPEAKER_00: You get a free sample pack.
- 25:01SPEAKER_00: All you have to do is pay shipping, which is like five dollars in the US.
- 25:04SPEAKER_00: And normally I pay like three dollars per packet when I'm so yeah, that's like a good deal, and you get all eight flavors.
- 25:11SPEAKER_00: You get eight, yeah, all you get to try one of each of the eight.
- 25:14SPEAKER_00: So you might as well.
- 25:16SPEAKER_00: A lot of the big things I notice with people is that their electrolyte balance is off, which looks like cravings, which looks like um getting hangry, which looks like blood sugar imbalances, um, headaches, lethargic, or like feeling like puffy, or feeling like really weak and weighed down.
- 25:33SPEAKER_00: A lot of things are an electrolyte imbalance.
- 25:36SPEAKER_00: The amount of people I have turned on to element.
- 25:38SPEAKER_00: In fact, a friend just texted me like a few days ago.
- 25:41SPEAKER_00: She's like, So I finally ordered Element after seeing you talk about it a million times, and oh my god, it changed my life.
- 25:46SPEAKER_00: It is amazing.
- 25:47SPEAKER_00: There, I feel a noticeable difference.
- 25:48SPEAKER_00: And I was like, Yes, like I don't lie about this stuff.
- 25:51SPEAKER_00: There's a reason.
- 25:52SPEAKER_00: Like when I find a ride or die and I'm religious and I talk to everyone about it, there's a reason why.
- 25:58SPEAKER_00: My favorite flavors are the raspberry salt, the citrus salt, and the chocolate salt.
- 26:02SPEAKER_00: I will add the chocolate salt to maybe some Organifi or coffee or a smooth like a chocolate smoothie.
- 26:09SPEAKER_00: Um, and then the yeah, the raspberry and the citrus are my other like favorite more daytime, I guess you would say, ones.
- 26:15SPEAKER_00: Like I said, I use at least one a day if I'm doing lots of energy work, or if you're um doing it like you're operating at higher frequency, you burn through minerals a lot faster.
- 26:26SPEAKER_00: Now, I know what you're gonna say, but like, do we need that much salt?
- 26:29SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 26:29SPEAKER_00: Do you know how many people are salt deficient?
- 26:32SPEAKER_00: This also has potassium, potassium, magnesium, it has no bad ingredients.
- 26:37SPEAKER_00: So many of the other electrolyte powders have bad ingredients I would not touch.
- 26:42SPEAKER_00: Um, and that's why I haven't used other electrolyte powders until now, is because they were all toxic.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: This one is not.
- 26:48SPEAKER_00: This will imagine if, like, how many of your health things could get solved by just making sure your electrolyte balance was in check.
- 26:55SPEAKER_00: And especially if you feel like you are racing to a higher consciousness, a higher frequency, and you're just like vibrating a lot, this is gonna support you on your journey as well.
- 27:04SPEAKER_00: So, both physical health and spiritual health, this is going to help.
- 27:08SPEAKER_00: Alright, the last, oh my god, guys, this is gonna be a long episode.
- 27:12SPEAKER_00: But you know what?
- 27:13SPEAKER_00: We're hearing about all the favorite things, so that's okay.
- 27:15SPEAKER_00: The last one for the supplements is liposomal, or well, it's the brand lipospheric, but it's the liposomal supplements.
- 27:24SPEAKER_00: So it's the glutathione, vitamin C, and magnesium L-theonate.
- 27:30SPEAKER_00: Now, the reason I like their magnesium or the magnesium L-the-is because L-theonate, magnesium can cross a blood-brain barrier.
- 27:37SPEAKER_00: So, A, liposomal stuff is better in general, and then B, this magnesium is able to cross.
- 27:42SPEAKER_00: So it your body's going to absorb it that much better.
- 27:45SPEAKER_00: Same with the vitamin C and the glutathione, it's just really high quality.
- 27:49SPEAKER_00: I don't necessarily take one of the glutathione and vitamin C every single day.
- 27:54SPEAKER_00: I'll kind of like buy a pack of the vitamin C, take it every day for like I think there's a month, I think there's 30, and then like maybe like once a quarter, like do the vitamin C, once a quarter, do the the glutathione, and again, notice a difference.
- 28:09SPEAKER_00: The quality of supplements makes a huge difference, and liposomal is just better absorbed.
- 28:14SPEAKER_00: So, why not get something that's going to be better absorbable?
- 28:18SPEAKER_00: Like, for example, you are better off taking the liposomal vitamin C once for six months, like doing that one like 30-day packets, than taking like every day of the Jameson, if that makes sense.
- 28:31SPEAKER_00: So, do you know what I mean?
- 28:32SPEAKER_00: Like it's gonna, you're gonna get more, not bang for your buck because it's more expensive, but like the more punched, you know, you know what I mean?
- 28:41SPEAKER_00: Like more oomph, and it's actually gonna do more for you if that makes sense.
- 28:45SPEAKER_00: So big fan of liposomal oil, and the brand is lifospheric.
- 28:50SPEAKER_00: Again, it's live on L-I-V-O-N is the the brand, and it's the lifosceric magnesium L-theanate, the glutathione, and the vitamin C.
- 28:59SPEAKER_00: Again, I do I don't do the vitamin C um glutathione every single day of the year.
- 29:05SPEAKER_00: I do it probably three to four times depending on how I'm feeling and how each of them are, if that makes sense.
- 29:12SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 29:13SPEAKER_00: Sorry, I know I'm saying if that makes sense a lot.
- 29:15SPEAKER_00: Let's move on.
- 29:16SPEAKER_00: Let's move on to face.
- 29:18SPEAKER_00: I have a new favorite, favorite, favorite face brand.
- 29:23SPEAKER_00: I'll also go over some of my other ones.
- 29:25SPEAKER_00: I'm also including some more like are they drugstore?
- 29:30SPEAKER_00: Well, yeah, you can get them at drugstore.
- 29:31SPEAKER_00: So I'm including like my high-end favorites, but then also some more affordable ones that are clean that I really love.
- 29:38SPEAKER_00: So my new ride or dye skincare line is Agent Nature.
- 29:43SPEAKER_00: It is so good.
- 29:45SPEAKER_00: Oh my, I'm obsessed.
- 29:46SPEAKER_00: Okay, I love their what are they called now?
- 29:49SPEAKER_00: The brightening skin cleanser, the holy oil, and okay, there's like a set of three, and it's like the holy trinity or whatever it is, and it's so good.
- 30:00SPEAKER_00: The brightening cleanser.
- 30:02SPEAKER_00: I first tried that one after running out of my Indie Lee brightening cleanser, which was another one on my favorite list that I'm gonna mention.
- 30:08SPEAKER_00: I still do love the Indie Lee brightening cleanser, however, the Ancient Natur brightening one is just that little bit better, and it's just that like that step up.
- 30:17SPEAKER_00: And when I was looking to elevate my skincare line, that's what I chose, and I'm really happy I did.
- 30:24SPEAKER_00: You don't need that much of it.
- 30:25SPEAKER_00: I think I bought this bottle, I definitely bought it before even coming to Florida, so maybe like four or five months ago, and I'm not done it yet.
- 30:35SPEAKER_00: So a little bit goes a long way.
- 30:37SPEAKER_00: Like they actually say to use like one pump.
- 30:40SPEAKER_00: She puts that on the bottle, you can use one pump.
- 30:42SPEAKER_00: So you don't need to pump like four or five times, and it just works so well.
- 30:46SPEAKER_00: You can also use it as like a mini face mask, so you can put like the cleanser on, rub it into your skin, and then leave it for a couple minutes.
- 30:52SPEAKER_00: I don't know, brush your teeth, or just leave it for a couple and then wash it off.
- 30:56SPEAKER_00: Big fan.
- 30:57SPEAKER_00: And then her the oil, the holy oil, I think it's called.
- 31:01SPEAKER_00: You'll you'll see what I mean if you if you go on the site.
- 31:04SPEAKER_00: Um, everything's called holy something, so I think I'm just getting confused right now.
- 31:08SPEAKER_00: Again, that one is really good.
- 31:10SPEAKER_00: Now the next one I would say is Indie Lee.
- 31:12SPEAKER_00: You guys know I love their brightening cleanser, I love their under-eye cream, I love their the glow pads, they come in like a cylinder and they're like little pads you rub on your face, those are really good.
- 31:26SPEAKER_00: Their daily moisturizer is really good, doesn't clog pores.
- 31:30SPEAKER_00: So Indie Lee, I would say, is my like number two choice when it comes to facial skincare realm in terms of like non-toxic, good for your skin, etc.
- 31:41SPEAKER_00: Um, so that would be number two.
- 31:43SPEAKER_00: And then I also want to mention Cocoa Kind and a cure.
- 31:49SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna put them kind of like on the same level.
- 31:51SPEAKER_00: Coco Kind, I've loved for a few years.
- 31:53SPEAKER_00: I love their clay mask.
- 31:55SPEAKER_00: So I'm gonna I'm also gonna talk about specific products from each brand that I love.
- 31:58SPEAKER_00: Cocoa Kind, I really love their C, I think it's C Kelp Clay Mask.
- 32:04SPEAKER_00: So good.
- 32:06SPEAKER_00: I like this clay mask better than other ones that I've tried in the past.
- 32:10SPEAKER_00: You can get it at the drugstore like Shoppers Drug Mart or um, I actually don't know if they have it at CVS Bank Canada, they have it at Shoppers, and I'm sure like online they have it there.
- 32:18SPEAKER_00: Uh their sunscreen is also really good.
- 32:20SPEAKER_00: I've tried that and that one didn't break me out.
- 32:23SPEAKER_00: But I would say the clay mask, oh, and then the chlorophyll mask I really like from Coco Kine.
- 32:29SPEAKER_00: So I really like their masks in general.
- 32:31SPEAKER_00: I find there is I notice a big difference with their masks.
- 32:34SPEAKER_00: Those are the ones I tend to go for from Coco Kine versus their cleansers and their moisturizer like was okay, but nothing I was like, oh, I want to repurchase this.
- 32:45SPEAKER_00: I love this.
- 32:45SPEAKER_00: But there are two masks that I mentioned I like.
- 32:48SPEAKER_00: Now from Acure, I recently, it's one thing I like, and that's their brightening scrub.
- 32:53SPEAKER_00: So on Sundays I like to do a little scrub and I do a double mask.
- 32:57SPEAKER_00: So I do the acure brightening scrub, and you can get it at Whole Foods, it's really inexpensive.
- 33:01SPEAKER_00: I mean, I bought their travel size pouch for$3, and I've used that for a month.
- 33:06SPEAKER_00: You only need like a two-piece sized amount, and that's enough to scrub your whole face.
- 33:12SPEAKER_00: So start off even with like a small travel pack, and I'll do that, and then I'll do the C Kelp mask.
- 33:17SPEAKER_00: No, it's not the C not the Kelp, the C Clay mask from Coco Kind.
- 33:21SPEAKER_00: And then I've been doing this other mask that I love and would repurchase for sure.
- 33:25SPEAKER_00: It is the Biologique Rese Rese I can't talk today, guys.
- 33:30SPEAKER_00: Biologique Reser Reserve I'm sorry, Reserve.
- 33:34SPEAKER_00: Why am I having trouble?
- 33:35SPEAKER_00: It's French and I speak French.
- 33:36SPEAKER_00: It's 7.06 on a Sunday.
- 33:38SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm a bit tired.
- 33:39SPEAKER_00: It's a busy day.
- 33:40SPEAKER_00: We're we're moving this week, so there's a lot going on.
- 33:43SPEAKER_00: That brand, um it's called the Masque Vivant.
- 33:47SPEAKER_00: Really good, smells awful, but makes a noticeable difference in my skin, in the texture, in the brightness.
- 33:56SPEAKER_00: Now I have seen people compare the masque vivant to the new Agent Nature brightening mask, saying apparently the new Agent Nature brightening mask is even better than the Masque Vivant.
- 34:08SPEAKER_00: So I might try that one first, compare it to this one, and then let you guys know which one I actually prefer.
- 34:14SPEAKER_00: But 100% would repurchase this masque vivant.
- 34:18SPEAKER_00: It smells like disgusting.
- 34:19SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna lie.
- 34:20SPEAKER_00: It's like this brown color, it kind of smells like veggie mite, but it works really well.
- 34:24SPEAKER_00: And again, this is where I would recommend using something that works less often than something that's not gonna work.
- 34:33SPEAKER_00: That's like a a$2 face max doesn't that's not gonna work.
- 34:37SPEAKER_00: Does that make sense?
- 34:38SPEAKER_00: So I really like this one.
- 34:40SPEAKER_00: I keep saying this doesn't make this doesn't make sense.
- 34:42SPEAKER_00: I'm really sorry guys.
- 34:43SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna try for the rest of the episode.
- 34:45SPEAKER_00: I had bought it maybe when I got back from oh my god, when I got back from France yet?
- 34:50SPEAKER_00: No.
- 34:51SPEAKER_00: I don't I've had it for over nine months, and I think this week I might just finish it, and that's from using it once a week.
- 34:59SPEAKER_00: So again, know that it will last.
- 35:02SPEAKER_00: You just like make sure you use not too much, obviously, but just enough to to make a a difference.
- 35:07SPEAKER_00: So those are my favorite.
- 35:09SPEAKER_00: Oh, and I don't think I mentioned oh, of course, a moisturizer.
- 35:14SPEAKER_00: The Tracy Martin Firming Serum, there we go.
- 35:19SPEAKER_00: I really like, and then the IS Clinical Shield, but it's spelled S-H-E-A-L-D.
- 35:27SPEAKER_00: The last one was recommended to me by my dermatologist.
- 35:30SPEAKER_00: Last time I got um my face like lasered off, like the dead skin cells I'm taking off.
- 35:38SPEAKER_00: So that one's really good.
- 35:39SPEAKER_00: And then Tracy Martin, I really do like her firming serum as like a serum step.
- 35:45SPEAKER_00: Alright, moving on to skin deodorant.
- 35:49SPEAKER_00: By far my favorite natural deodorant is Bloom.
- 35:54SPEAKER_00: A, I really am not a fan of the ones you have to put your fingers in and then rub it into your hands and then put it on your armpits.
- 36:02SPEAKER_00: First of all, I have nails, not long nails, but I'm not digging my nails into the oh, that just sounds like so like so gross.
- 36:10SPEAKER_00: I cannot.
- 36:10SPEAKER_00: So I like when it's a stick.
- 36:12SPEAKER_00: This one is like the only one that works for me.
- 36:17SPEAKER_00: She's the only one that works for me.
- 36:18SPEAKER_00: I have tried so many natural deodorants, most of them.
- 36:22SPEAKER_00: I think this is the other, like I said, this is the only one that's worked for me.
- 36:24SPEAKER_00: I've repurchased it several times because it's the only one I find works.
- 36:28SPEAKER_00: You can get it online, you can get it at Sephora.
- 36:31SPEAKER_00: For me, it's the only one that's worked, so I continue to.
- 36:33SPEAKER_00: I've tried other ones and I just they just don't work.
- 36:37SPEAKER_00: Guys, like I'm not gonna lie, like I need it to work.
- 36:40SPEAKER_00: I need it to work.
- 36:42SPEAKER_00: Alright, let me take a sip of my tea.
- 36:47SPEAKER_00: Alright, the next skin favorite is Necessaire.
- 36:51SPEAKER_00: I have fallen in love with Necessaire in 2021.
- 36:55SPEAKER_00: I repurchased when I came here to Florida to make sure I had some here.
- 36:58SPEAKER_00: I love their exfoliator exfoliation?
- 37:01SPEAKER_00: Exfoliation, no, it's not cream.
- 37:03SPEAKER_00: Exfoliator, the stuff for the shower.
- 37:06SPEAKER_00: I love the eucalyptus scent.
- 37:07SPEAKER_00: I'm a big eucalyptus person, so I always get the eucalyptus scent.
- 37:12SPEAKER_00: It is non-toxic, it's free of all the garbage, so you don't have to worry about that.
- 37:16SPEAKER_00: And it's their whole thing is it's facial grade skin care or facial grade body care for like obviously your body and that yeah, facial grade for your body, which to me just makes sense.
- 37:27SPEAKER_00: We often think that, like, oh, our face deserves like higher treatment, but like why not treat the skin on the whole body that way so that when you get older, like your face might look radiant, but then like what if your body has been using like jargons and it looks shitty and you're absorbing all these toxic chemicals, right?
- 37:42SPEAKER_00: So it's really important for like something like a body lotion to be non-toxic because your skin's your largest organ, you put that everywhere.
- 37:48SPEAKER_00: So I really like Necessaire, like I said, I like the eucalyptus scent.
- 37:52SPEAKER_00: So I use the exfoliator in the shower like once a week.
- 37:56SPEAKER_00: I use the eucalyptus body wash every single day.
- 37:58SPEAKER_00: It makes my shower a vibe.
- 38:00SPEAKER_00: You don't need that much of it.
- 38:02SPEAKER_00: So that's another one of these things where like I feel when you because I used to use Dove back in the day, back in like undergrad, you use like four tablespoons for, you know, like use so much versus like with the necessary.
- 38:16SPEAKER_00: I use maybe I'm gonna show my Canadian right now.
- 38:20SPEAKER_00: I use a loony-sized amount.
- 38:22SPEAKER_00: So I don't know.
- 38:24SPEAKER_00: In I'm gonna use a US version, what's a US?
- 38:26SPEAKER_00: Like less than a teaspoon, less than a teaspoon to wash my body, and so you don't need that much.
- 38:33SPEAKER_00: So I use that, that, and then I use the body lotion when I get out, or the body serum, depending on what I feel like it needs, or I'll mix the body lotion with a couple pumps of this serum, and I love that.
- 38:44SPEAKER_00: So necessary for body care, a thousand percent recommend.
- 38:49SPEAKER_00: That just triggered my memory to remind or remind me to talk about this.
- 38:53SPEAKER_00: The only like my favorite non-toxic self-tanner is from Lux Unfiltered.
- 38:59SPEAKER_00: It was started by an influencer while she was pregnant.
- 39:01SPEAKER_00: It the ingredients are so clean, it's very easy to use.
- 39:05SPEAKER_00: You do not look orange, it's a natural tan, and I love it.
- 39:08SPEAKER_00: I've repurchased it several times.
- 39:10SPEAKER_00: I've purchased it and imported it with duties to Canada.
- 39:13SPEAKER_00: It is so good, and we all feel like better with a little bit of glow, right?
- 39:17SPEAKER_00: So I love it, we'll continue to repurchase it.
- 39:20SPEAKER_00: It is a ride or die, depending on how tan I want to be, I might use it like once a week, I might use it three or four times per week.
- 39:27SPEAKER_00: It all kind of depends.
- 39:29SPEAKER_00: But again, I love it.
- 39:30SPEAKER_00: It's non-toxic.
- 39:31SPEAKER_00: Have used it for a couple years now, we'll continue to repurchase.
- 39:35SPEAKER_00: Alright, another request was toothpaste.
- 39:37SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna be honest, guys, I just use the fluoride-free toothpaste from Whole Foods, the Whole Foods brand 365.
- 39:44SPEAKER_00: As long as you're using fluoride-free, essentially, that's what you want to watch out for, and one with the good ingredients.
- 39:49SPEAKER_00: So, my actually recommendation is not a super fancy one, it's just the 365 fluoride-free.
- 39:55SPEAKER_00: I do not like the Tom's one.
- 39:56SPEAKER_00: I find like the taste and texture of the Tom ones, like I can't.
- 40:00SPEAKER_00: I had to, I had to stop using it after like two uses.
- 40:02SPEAKER_00: I just could not.
- 40:04SPEAKER_00: The 365 fluoride-free peppermint.
- 40:06SPEAKER_00: I repurchased it several times and love it.
- 40:09SPEAKER_00: Another kind of like brand I want to add on into skin is Sage.
- 40:14SPEAKER_00: And it's S-A-J-E.
- 40:16SPEAKER_00: It's actually becoming more popular now in the US.
- 40:18SPEAKER_00: I believe it's a Canadian brand because I've loved it for years and it was Canadian.
- 40:22SPEAKER_00: I love their massage oils, and I also used to use their goddess lotion and their goddess body wash, but I would do prefer necessaire, but like as a runner-up, I would put sage.
- 40:35SPEAKER_00: But any of their products are non-toxic, they use essential oils, so I'm a big fan.
- 40:40SPEAKER_00: I love, like I said, their massage oils are my favorite.
- 40:43SPEAKER_00: It's like having a bath and then um, like you know, shaving, and then if you want to put like a luxurious body oil on, I really like the the sage one.
- 40:52SPEAKER_00: Either the stress release or the tantra are my favorite ones.
- 40:56SPEAKER_00: They're really, really good.
- 40:57SPEAKER_00: So highly recommend that also for skin.
- 41:00SPEAKER_00: Alright, moving on to hair.
- 41:01SPEAKER_00: Let me take a sip of my tea.
- 41:05SPEAKER_00: Alright, hair.
- 41:06SPEAKER_00: My favorite hair, like in the shower brand, is Giovanni.
- 41:10SPEAKER_00: This was actually recommended to me by a hairstylist who's like a natural hairstylist.
- 41:15SPEAKER_00: She came and gave me a blow dry, and we were talking about like natural hair products, and I was asking her her favorites because so many of the natural ones are like they're shitty and they make your hair feel like straw, like to be honest, or like sticky or like weird.
- 41:28SPEAKER_00: She turned me on to Giovanni, and I'm obsessed.
- 41:31SPEAKER_00: It is quite affordable.
- 41:33SPEAKER_00: Like my conditioner, like the shampoo conditioner is like$10 each.
- 41:37SPEAKER_00: Uh, you can get it at Whole Foods, also Amazon.
- 41:40SPEAKER_00: I order on Amazon.
- 41:41SPEAKER_00: I use the purple one, which is like like the purple bottle, and it's like the deep, nourishing, hydrating blah blah blah shampoo, and then the mask.
- 41:52SPEAKER_00: I really, really love the mask.
- 41:54SPEAKER_00: I have fine hair and it hydrates my hair without weighing it down, but makes it super soft and it's natural.
- 41:59SPEAKER_00: It is so good.
- 42:01SPEAKER_00: I'm really happy I found like natural hair care that works.
- 42:04SPEAKER_00: I used to use Raua, Raua, which I love, but it's 40 bucks a bottle.
- 42:10SPEAKER_00: And I honestly think I like the Giovanni more, and it's only 10.
- 42:13SPEAKER_00: So highly recommend Giovanni.
- 42:16SPEAKER_00: 10 bucks.
- 42:16SPEAKER_00: Get the purple ones, the purple bottle colors.
- 42:19SPEAKER_00: Um, and they're those are really like replenishing, hydrating.
- 42:22SPEAKER_00: So highly recommend.
- 42:24SPEAKER_00: Next, out of the shower, I will either apply the sage, hair, and body.
- 42:31SPEAKER_00: No, I think it's called hair, I think it's just called hair, yeah, it's just called hair oil.
- 42:35SPEAKER_00: And it's coconut oil, organ oil, and I want to say jojoba, there's like a third one, I think.
- 42:40SPEAKER_00: A couple drops of that, or the day leave-in, which is D-A-E.
- 42:45SPEAKER_00: Probably prefer the sage.
- 42:47SPEAKER_00: I just ran out of it.
- 42:48SPEAKER_00: I'll also use a sage oil, like a couple drops as like a finishing after blow drying or after curling.
- 42:53SPEAKER_00: Again, highly recommend the sage, no other weird ingredients, it's clean.
- 42:57SPEAKER_00: And then the last hair thing I want to mention is dry shampoo.
- 43:00SPEAKER_00: And I love the Brigio dry shampoo.
- 43:03SPEAKER_00: I've used a lot of natural powdered shampoos.
- 43:07SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, some of them are so bad, especially when you have dark hair, some of them are so bad and do not blend, and I look gray or like power or some important like baby powder on my head.
- 43:16SPEAKER_00: I love the Briggio one.
- 43:18SPEAKER_00: I've repurchased it several times.
- 43:19SPEAKER_00: I actually just repurchased it, it just came in.
- 43:21SPEAKER_00: So I love that one.
- 43:23SPEAKER_00: Alright, guys, one more sip of my tea, and then we're getting into makeup and home.
- 43:28SPEAKER_00: So only a few more, a few more things.
- 43:32SPEAKER_00: Alright, moving on to makeup.
- 43:35SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna talk about a few different brands and kind of like what I use from the different brands versus where I see like worth splurging and where I don't.
- 43:43SPEAKER_00: Alright, number one is Ilya.
- 43:45SPEAKER_00: I love the Ilya True Skin Serum Foundation.
- 43:49SPEAKER_00: It is clean.
- 43:51SPEAKER_00: It I will say it is not a super, it's not a full coverage foundation.
- 43:57SPEAKER_00: So I started using this after my acne stars here.
- 44:00SPEAKER_00: Healed, so I will say it is like a medium to light coverage, it's definitely not a full coverage, but if you're okay with that, then I really like it.
- 44:08SPEAKER_00: It's a good glow, um, it blends easily, and they have a whole host of colors.
- 44:13SPEAKER_00: Same with the Ilia concealer.
- 44:17SPEAKER_00: I've tried the Ilia and I've tried the Kosas Kosas because that was also highly like rated on Sephora, and I do think the Ilia is better.
- 44:26SPEAKER_00: I do not like the the RMS concealer for me got too thick and started to crease.
- 44:34SPEAKER_00: Um, so I would like wouldn't I did not end up repurchasing that one like from back in the day.
- 44:40SPEAKER_00: So I would go with pro like the Ilia concealer, and like the foundation is my favorite.
- 44:46SPEAKER_00: I know there's like a cult following for the Ilya mascara, but like honestly, like for me, it's not worth it to spend on the Ilya mascara.
- 44:56SPEAKER_00: The mascara I do love, however, is Honest.
- 44:59SPEAKER_00: So the Honest brand by Jessica Alba.
- 45:01SPEAKER_00: It's clean, and I have like been recently obsessed.
- 45:03SPEAKER_00: I use their liner and their mascara.
- 45:06SPEAKER_00: It works really well, it is non-toxic, it is drugstore affordable.
- 45:11SPEAKER_00: Um, and like yeah, it's not as expensive as Ilya, and I really like it.
- 45:14SPEAKER_00: So for me, like the eye products, I don't mind.
- 45:17SPEAKER_00: Like, use I'll use honest because I don't see that big of a difference, but that's me personally, and I really like the um what did I say?
- 45:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, the Ilya face products.
- 45:28SPEAKER_00: And I also like the Alima A-L-I-M-A setting powder or like um yeah, setting powder, or the RMS actually.
- 45:38SPEAKER_00: I do like the RMS setting powder, that's like the white one, the clear translucent, or if you're looking for one with color and you just want to wear like a little bit of color, like powder color on you, or you're looking for fuller coverage, like if you put the alimma on top of the Ilia, there'd be more fuller coverage because the alimma is like a colored one that gives coverage than that.
- 45:57SPEAKER_00: For lips, I have I like Ilya, and then I also like Kopari.
- 46:03SPEAKER_00: Kopari is like a lip balm, obsessed with the it smells amazing.
- 46:06SPEAKER_00: I like the color birthday suit.
- 46:08SPEAKER_00: My friend Kelly turned me on to it.
- 46:09SPEAKER_00: It is amazing.
- 46:10SPEAKER_00: I am obsessed.
- 46:12SPEAKER_00: I just I can't get enough.
- 46:13SPEAKER_00: So those are what I would say.
- 46:15SPEAKER_00: I would say like Ilya for like face, honest for eyes, and Kopari for lips, or Ilya for lips if you want like a lip stick, if that makes sense.
- 46:27SPEAKER_00: Alright, moving on to home.
- 46:28SPEAKER_00: So we only have a couple of home things because the home things I think were questions about like laundry, detergent, and cleaning supplies.
- 46:36SPEAKER_00: I love branch basics.
- 46:37SPEAKER_00: I'm just gonna be honest.
- 46:38SPEAKER_00: Branch basics is clean.
- 46:40SPEAKER_00: I like that you just use their concentrated liquid thing and you make laundry detergent or bathroom cleaner or all-purpose cleaner.
- 46:48SPEAKER_00: A little bit goes a long way, and you clean your house with it and you eat, like you're coming to contact with these surfaces.
- 46:54SPEAKER_00: It's important that this stuff is clean.
- 46:56SPEAKER_00: Branch basics is 100% worth the money.
- 46:58SPEAKER_00: It is third-party tested, it is so good.
- 47:01SPEAKER_00: Again, one of those things that like you only need to use a little bit of their concentrated liquid, and then you pour the rest in.
- 47:08SPEAKER_00: Like one of their starter kit lasts me like a year, and like I clean a lot, clean every day.
- 47:14SPEAKER_00: Like, you see how much I cook and the mess that gets made.
- 47:17SPEAKER_00: So I highly recommend branch basics.
- 47:19SPEAKER_00: And then I wanted to include some like fragrancy like home stuff.
- 47:24SPEAKER_00: The sage diffusers and essential oils are my ride or die favorites.
- 47:27SPEAKER_00: I've been using them for probably six years.
- 47:32SPEAKER_00: They're diffusers, they're oils.
- 47:33SPEAKER_00: I'm obsessed.
- 47:35SPEAKER_00: Uh, and then the candles I like are by sand and fog, and that's because these candles use essential oils and not harmful fragrances that are going to be bad for your lungs, bad for your hormones, bad for your gut, bad for your brain, give you headaches.
- 47:49SPEAKER_00: It's just all around.
- 47:50SPEAKER_00: You don't want to be burning like bath and body works.
- 47:52SPEAKER_00: Let's let's stop that.
- 47:54SPEAKER_00: Or using things like method, you know, method cleaners, which are just greenwashing.
- 47:57SPEAKER_00: They actually are quite toxic.
- 47:59SPEAKER_00: So sand and fog are my favorite candles.
- 48:01SPEAKER_00: You can get them at HomeGoods or like TJ Maxx in the States, or then what is the equivalent in Canada?
- 48:08SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, it's been a while.
- 48:09SPEAKER_00: Home Sense, HomeSense in Canada.
- 48:12SPEAKER_00: So they're what$15 for like this big giant candle, move essential oils, so good, so many different smells, and that's what I would recommend.
- 48:21SPEAKER_00: So I know this episode was a bit of a long one, but had to get out all of my favorites.
- 48:25SPEAKER_00: If there's a category that you feel like I missed that you want to know, definitely let me know.
- 48:31SPEAKER_00: And with that being said, I will see you guys in the next episode.
