- 0:00I look like Steve Jobs right now.
- 0:02(laughs)
- 0:03- A very sexy Steve Jobs.
- 0:05- Thank you. - You're the Rock.
- 0:06- Yeah, exactly. - Yeah, it's the Rock.
- 0:08- The Rock.
- 0:09- When he had the curls, I'll take that.
- 0:11- I like the fancy ball. - I like the fancy tank.
- 0:13- Yeah. (laughs)
- 0:15(upbeat rock music)
- 0:19(upbeat rock music)
- 0:21(singing)
- 0:23- Hello, and welcome to another episode
- 0:44of the Pop Culture Junkie Podcast,
- 0:46where we are getting ready for the Marriest of Holiday Seasons.
- 0:49But it's not just me, I'm joined by my holiday helpers.
- 0:53- Nicole. - And Shauna.
- 0:55- You know, for some, Christmas really isn't about
- 0:58all the cookies and the candy canes.
- 1:00For me, I've been recently really obsessed
- 1:04with some fairy books.
- 1:06But before I jump into my undying love for fairy book romances,
- 1:10I'm curious, what have you guys really been up to
- 1:12the last couple of weeks?
- 1:14- Oh man, I've been watching a lot of Korean films.
- 1:17Netflix has an amazing array of Korean movies.
- 1:21And we also just started a Korean show called Sweet Home.
- 1:26We're only like two episodes in, but it's kind of like a zombie apocalypse vibe.
- 1:33I love a good end of the world, zombie apocalypse thing.
- 1:36I have been obsessed recently with just end of the world movies in general.
- 1:41- Okay. - Interesting.
- 1:43- I know. Well, it'll tie into the rest of the theme of the episode once we get to that.
- 1:48But I recently watched Seeking a Friend for the End of the World
- 1:52with Steve Carell and Keira Knightley.
- 1:55- Okay. I haven't watched it, but I've heard of it.
- 1:58- Yeah. And you know, it's dark, but I really enjoyed it.
- 2:02I love like day after tomorrow in zombie movies
- 2:05and just kind of doom, you know, the world's gonna end.
- 2:08- Yeah. - Yeah.
- 2:10- I love the aftertomers so much. - Especially that time of his life.
- 2:15He was just, oh, so good. - He was so cute.
- 2:18And they were all going into academic to Catholic competition.
- 2:21And as the former academic to Catholic law in class of 2017, Captain,
- 2:26I love that. - No, Captain.
- 2:29- Oh, I was the team captain, baby. I was head, Matthew.
- 2:33- Okay. - Very popular.
- 2:36- I'm sure. - I'm sure you were pretty.
- 2:39- Very popular.
- 2:41- Into a tan potion.
- 2:45- No, that wasn't till college. That wasn't that kind of popular till college.
- 2:49- Oh, you'll see.
- 2:54- But yeah, lots of Korean films and into the world movies.
- 2:58And I do have the fairy book that you gave me.
- 3:00I promise I'm gonna read it. - I'm gonna read it.
- 3:03- Yes. - Yes.
- 3:04Nicole, have you ever read a court of thorns and roses?
- 3:08- No, I haven't. - Okay, have you heard about it?
- 3:11People call it like Akatar.
- 3:13It's really popular on TikTok. - Wait.
- 3:16Stop. I was actually looking, I don't know if you saw my Instagram story today,
- 3:19but I put on their mysteries, slash their book recommendations.
- 3:23And this was coming up. No one said this one, but I googled books
- 3:27because I'm just in the mood to read a book.
- 3:29This came up as one. So this was actually when I was interested in reading.
- 3:32So it's really funny that we're actually talking about this book.
- 3:35- Yes. - I haven't read it yet.
- 3:37- Oh my gosh, you should read it. - Okay.
- 3:39- Everyone should read it. It's really, really good.
- 3:41I read all five 400 page books in seven days.
- 3:46- Oh my gosh. - So, I--
- 3:48- Of course, you do. - Of course.
- 3:50If you can't tell by just listening to this,
- 3:53I have like a hyper obsession personality.
- 3:56And like, I just have to see it through.
- 3:58Like, I just have to. It was so good.
- 4:01It's a court of thorns and roses by Sarah J. Mass.
- 4:06And at first, I was like, oh, I'll read the first one.
- 4:10And I stayed up to like 4 a.m. the first night reading that.
- 4:13And then I was just like hooked.
- 4:15So I would definitely say watch it.
- 4:17The sixth book should be coming out soon.
- 4:20- Read it. - And--
- 4:21- Yeah. Read it.
- 4:23- Probably make a movie at some point, I'm sure.
- 4:25- Right. No, they are. That's where my brain was like two thoughts at once.
- 4:29So Hulu has the rights to it.
- 4:31And so during the writer's strike and everything,
- 4:34like, stop casting and all that.
- 4:36But yeah, Hulu has optioned it.
- 4:38So it will be a series eventually.
- 4:41- We should all three. So you've already read it.
- 4:44Nicole and I can read it.
- 4:46And then we can do a, you know, episode two of the junkie book club.
- 4:51- We'll do that next year. - Yes.
- 4:53- Have an episode breakdown. That would be fun.
- 4:55- Yes. Very, very good.
- 4:57We're in our smart girl era.
- 4:59- Reading books. - I know.
- 5:00- Look at us. - I know.
- 5:01- And if anybody else likes very romance books,
- 5:04I've just finished fourth wing and started Iron Wing.
- 5:09- She's-- I'm deep-- - I'm deep--
- 5:11- I'm deep-- - I'm deep.
- 5:13- I'm deep-- I'm hot.
- 5:15It's scratching a niche that I can't stop.
- 5:18But no, I've literally, like, all I've done is be in very romance line.
- 5:22- Live is joining the thing.
- 5:24- It's a physical-- - I wish.
- 5:26- I wish. I wish.
- 5:27- You're going to find me in mushroom circles all over the country.
- 5:30- Oh my god. - Oh my god.
- 5:32- Like doing mushrooms or growing them or sitting on top of a mushroom.
- 5:35- No, so, "Fae" lore, like, actual, like, in real life, not in these books,
- 5:41is that if you find a circle of mushrooms, it's like a fairy ring.
- 5:46- That's so cool. - It is what it is.
- 5:48- But, like, "Fae" are, like, mischievous creatures
- 5:51so that you don't want to walk through them.
- 5:53- Yeah, I know what I'm talking about. - It's like a fairy circle.
- 5:55That would just be rude.
- 5:56- Yeah. - They were--
- 5:57- They were all that time building it.
- 5:58- Like, portals or whatever.
- 6:00But, yeah, there's some crazy testimonials from people on TikTok.
- 6:05I don't know.
- 6:06You know, it could be attention seekers, but it is entertaining.
- 6:09- I love that. - Yeah.
- 6:11- Yeah. - But--
- 6:12- Have you been transported to a fairy world, Nicole?
- 6:14What have you been reading and watching?
- 6:16- There's two things that I want to talk about.
- 6:20One of them is I actually went to the movie theater,
- 6:24which I haven't done in-- I don't know how long.
- 6:27- I'm like, I should-- - I'm gonna get to the barb.
- 6:29- I'm gonna put it in forever. - Yeah.
- 6:30- Oh, true.
- 6:32I guess that wasn't that long ago then, but--
- 6:35- Before then. - I went--
- 6:37- Yeah. - Before then, it wasn't so--
- 6:38- It was like a pretty good thing. - That was time--
- 6:39- That was the-- - The barb andheimer was July, right?
- 6:42- Exactly. - Yeah, I guess so.
- 6:43- Gosh, it went-- - This whole year
- 6:45went by so fast, it's insane.
- 6:46I can't believe it's December already.
- 6:48- Seriously. - One movie, though.
- 6:50- Hunger Games.
- 6:51- Did you always do so good? - Did you like it?
- 6:53- Yes. - Yes.
- 6:54- I want to see it.
- 6:55- It was good, it was good, but it was way too long.
- 6:58It was like two hours and 40 minutes.
- 7:00- Say, I've heard very mixed reviews where people are like,
- 7:03"It wasn't long enough," and they would have sat
- 7:05if it was longer, but yeah, I think it's just kind of like
- 7:09a book to movie argument, you know? - I have the book,
- 7:12but I haven't read it.
- 7:13It's just sitting on my shelf, but I know--
- 7:16I've read all the other, like, original Hunger Games books
- 7:18and I just re-watched one and two, actually.
- 7:21And so now I really want to go see it.
- 7:23What was your review, Nicole?
- 7:25Did you think, did you like it, despite it being too long?
- 7:28- I did like it.
- 7:29I didn't read the book and I don't know
- 7:32the last Hunger Games movie that I watched.
- 7:35I know I watched the first one.
- 7:37- This one's a prequel, though, so at least you don't really have to read it.
- 7:40- Yeah, you don't have to really watch the other ones,
- 7:43but I did like it.
- 7:45The storyline is really, really good.
- 7:48It got to a certain point for me personally,
- 7:50where I was just like, when is it going to end?
- 7:53- Maybe it is because I didn't read the book,
- 7:55but also to it was later at night.
- 7:58I think the show we went to was 805 shows,
- 8:02so by the time it was over, it was almost 11 o'clock at night.
- 8:05- I can't see.
- 8:06- Yeah, I can't say up that late anymore.
- 8:09So I was just like, "Okay, what time is this over at?"
- 8:11But other than that, I thought it was really, really good.
- 8:14The storyline was really good.
- 8:18I did like the girl who played, oh my gosh,
- 8:22I think her name's like Lucy Bird or Lucy.
- 8:25- Yeah, Lucy Gray.
- 8:27- She was really good.
- 8:28I loved her acting and then the main actor, I liked him a lot too.
- 8:34I thought they played really well together.
- 8:37- Yeah, he's hot as a blonde.
- 8:39- I would recommend it.
- 8:43- Rachel Segaler, that's who the actress is.
- 8:46- I think she's gonna be the new Snow White too,
- 8:49and the live action.
- 8:50- I was just about to bring that up.
- 8:52You can tell she's like a big fan of the Hunger Games.
- 8:56But the first interview she or pressure she did
- 9:00for the Hunger Games, everyone was like,
- 9:02"Well, Rachel Segaler learned her lesson
- 9:04about how to talk about a movie with fans."
- 9:07Because the internet came for her whenever she said
- 9:11that Snow White was not going to be about the prince saving her
- 9:15in the adaptation and the internet.
- 9:17- Not for bad.
- 9:18- It's just this poor, like 20-year-old girl
- 9:21who's a Broadway kid at Harvard.
- 9:24- It's poor girl.
- 9:26- It's so beautiful.
- 9:27- It's so beautiful.
- 9:28- The whole premise is Snow White,
- 9:30all of those original Disney stories.
- 9:32- It's like, I've passed out woman.
- 9:34- There's zero consent in these.
- 9:37- And I know they're based on Christian Anderson.
- 9:41- Yeah, but those are about murder.
- 9:43- They've adapted them.
- 9:44They went from murder to just misogyny.
- 9:47And now people are clutching their pearls
- 9:49that they're trying to make it.
- 9:50Like a woman has agency over herself.
- 9:53- But you know what I'm saying?
- 9:54- We went off on a tangent.
- 9:55But yes, I want to go see "Ballad of Snakes" and "Songbird,"
- 9:58"Songbirds," and eventually I will read the book too.
- 10:02- Say that 10 times fast.
- 10:04- "Ballad of Snakes" and "Songbirds."
- 10:05- "Ballad of Snakes."
- 10:07What was the second thing you said, Nicole?
- 10:09- The second thing that I've been watching,
- 10:11I just started it.
- 10:12So I'm pretty fresh into it.
- 10:15But it is the reality show of Silver Estors,
- 10:19Solone Family.
- 10:20- Oh, that's a family stone or something.
- 10:23- Yeah, it's like the stone family or something like that.
- 10:26And it's on Paramount Plus.
- 10:29I just renewed my subscription.
- 10:33- Ooh. - She got money.
- 10:35- I did it.
- 10:37I literally didn't have it for months
- 10:39because I was like, I'm not watching anything on it.
- 10:42And then I saw it on there because his daughters
- 10:44are just dropped out gorgeous.
- 10:45And I was like, you know what,
- 10:46they're making me want to watch it because of how pretty it is.
- 10:48- Is there so pretty?
- 10:49- Yeah.
- 10:50So I was like, and they're talking about their voice problems.
- 10:53- That's what people would say to this podcast.
- 10:54- It's just so pretty.
- 10:56- 'Cause they can see us.
- 10:57- But they're just talking about their voice problems
- 10:59because of their dad is.
- 11:00And I was like, this is intriguing to me.
- 11:02- That is intriguing.
- 11:04- I think I'm in like three episodes.
- 11:07And it's actually pretty good.
- 11:09They're whole family is really funny actually.
- 11:11So if you want to watch a new reality show
- 11:14and get to know more about his family,
- 11:16I'd recommend it to you.
- 11:18- She's probably-- - Yeah, I'm only like three episodes in.
- 11:21And the episodes are like 20 minutes long.
- 11:23So they're not even that long.
- 11:24- So are a sister podcast or one of our podcasts
- 11:28on the network called That Movie Is Fine?
- 11:30The host, Laura Knight.
- 11:32Did you guys see?
- 11:33She just got to meet some of us.
- 11:34- I did.
- 11:35- And she's obsessed with him.
- 11:37Long time listeners have popped culture junkie podcast.
- 11:40But we'll remember that Lauren was on our show
- 11:43a couple years ago in talking about her love of sliced alone.
- 11:46So I was so happy to see she finally got to meet him.
- 11:50- I know.
- 11:51- You know, dreams do come true.
- 11:52They're really, really do.
- 11:54- So maybe that means one day I'll meet Alexander Skarskard.
- 11:58- You already did it, never mind.
- 12:00- No.
- 12:01(laughing)
- 12:02- We don't talk about that one.
- 12:03- We don't talk about that one.
- 12:04- We don't, he must not be named.
- 12:06- I love that.
- 12:08- No.
- 12:09- After the Britney episode, I was kicking myself.
- 12:11I gotta say this.
- 12:12I kept saying her name was Felicity.
- 12:14Her name was Felicia, which was the--
- 12:17(laughing)
- 12:19- I said Alisha the first time and then I was like
- 12:22listening back to it and I was like, oh my god.
- 12:24I'm not acting like I didn't even read the book.
- 12:27- Correction corner.
- 12:28- Correction.
- 12:29- Felicia.
- 12:30- Quick note from last time.
- 12:32- Oh, no.
- 12:33- Oh, no.
- 12:34- Of the correction corner.
- 12:35- Oh yeah.
- 12:36- Did we fuck up more than once?
- 12:38- No, I just have an update.
- 12:40- Ooh, love an update.
- 12:42- I read right before we came on.
- 12:44- I know what it's gonna be.
- 12:45I'm so excited.
- 12:46Go ahead.
- 12:47- Update.
- 12:48Britney Spears' father's leg was amputated.
- 12:50- Yes, it was, bitch.
- 12:51(laughing)
- 12:53- Oh.
- 12:54- The lips hit me this today and she's like, see, this bitch is dying.
- 13:01- Okay.
- 13:02- Karma is my boyfriend.
- 13:04- Karma is a cat.
- 13:07Karma is your leg being amputated.
- 13:10(laughing)
- 13:12- We're all going to hell.
- 13:14- Oh my god.
- 13:15- You need to tell us.
- 13:16- But we don't-- - Heart will be down there.
- 13:18- We'll be in the fun area that would like Lil Nas X just like on the stripper pole.
- 13:25- I would love that.
- 13:26- If hell was Lil Nas X giving me a show, I would not be mad.
- 13:30(laughing)
- 13:32- But it is a figurative place.
- 13:33- Yeah.
- 13:34- So we will, we will leave it at that.
- 13:35- Yeah.
- 13:36- Pouring out for Jamie Spears.
- 13:37- Yeah.
- 13:38- And no pourin' out for his leg.
- 13:39- Pourin' out for his body leg.
- 13:40- Yeah.
- 13:41- Pourin' out for his disembodied leg.
- 13:42(laughing)
- 13:44- Oh, well, you know, Britney, your karma is coming.
- 13:48Let's hope you win your court case.
- 13:51I did see it's coming in like May of next year.
- 13:55So we'll pray for you guys.
- 13:57We're gonna take a quick break and then we'll be back.
- 14:00(dramatic music)
- 14:03(dramatic music)
- 14:05- So Christmas can be really dark.
- 14:07It comes very close to Winster Solstice, which is the darkest day of the year.
- 14:13And so that's probably why we've seen so many different movies enter into this Christmas horror genre.
- 14:21And we kind of mentioned about Hans Christian Anderson Christmas tales earlier.
- 14:27- Yeah.
- 14:28- Or the folklore.
- 14:29- Folk lore.
- 14:30- Yeah, that's a pretty crampus monsters.
- 14:33- Yeah.
- 14:34And so the legend of Crampus really kind of comes out of that European folklore era.
- 14:39And that's really kind of the earliest that we see it.
- 14:42But, you know, the Christmas horror genre has been around ever since a Christmas Carol,
- 14:47which was the first movie to really kind of feature the spookiness to Christmas with the ghost apparations.
- 14:55But holiday horror really started to become really popular in the early 1970s.
- 15:01And so, you know, kind of looking at this Christmas horror genre,
- 15:05like what do you think it is that draws people into watching this?
- 15:11So, I think we are just also accustomed to Halloween being the spooky time of year,
- 15:18that mixing a joyous occasion like Christmas or just winter holidays in general,
- 15:24with a story about murder or ghosts, it kind of seems like it would be...
- 15:30I don't know that juxtaposition there doesn't make the most sense.
- 15:33And then when you put it together, it's just so satisfying that I think
- 15:38because we don't expect it to make sense is why it's so good, if that makes sense.
- 15:43Yeah.
- 15:44You think that Christmas movies all have to be about happiness and family and falling in love,
- 15:49and Hallmark makes us think it's about two white people in Christmas sweaters
- 15:53saving the town square with cookies.
- 15:56And then when you watch you see one come out and it's about ghosts and murder
- 16:00and Santa slaughtering people, you're like, this isn't intriguing, it kind of mixes it up.
- 16:05Yeah. I agree. I think two people are just obsessed with true crime and stuff,
- 16:11so the more these types of movies come out, the more people you will have that want to watch it.
- 16:17Especially nowadays I feel like true crime, not saying that these are true crime,
- 16:21but it's in that genre. True crime is just becoming more and more popular.
- 16:26And people are psychologically into true crime.
- 16:31I know me and Olivia R into true crime or true crime fanatics.
- 16:35Well, she is more than me way more than me.
- 16:38So I used to be in one of my favorite podcasts besides this one, of course, they're breaking up.
- 16:47They just, you know, wine and crime pour one out for a wine and crime podcast.
- 16:52But I have to get to a new true crime.
- 16:55But no, I agree Nicole, like we all have a blood lust.
- 16:58We're all blood lusty and thirsty. We want that. Gore.
- 17:03Yeah, I also think Nicole went said, I wish I could see real dead bodies.
- 17:08She's a real dude. She was reviewing some of the side for the holidays.
- 17:16Yeah, homicide for the holidays. And she's like, it was okay.
- 17:20And you either liked it because it did show the dead body.
- 17:23I did. Yeah. Yeah. They show the real dead bodies.
- 17:27They do. They show the real crime scene photos.
- 17:30You sick fuck. I love it.
- 17:33That's good. That's good.
- 17:36Blood lust. That's why we want it.
- 17:38It's a blood lust. Yeah, I think I think it's also like people are expected to be happy
- 17:44during the holidays. And like, you know, if you like even if you are a part of like a really tight-knit family,
- 17:51they are stressful, like just being around immediate family, extended family can be a really stressful time,
- 17:58where it's not the Christmas we knew as children.
- 18:02And so that kind of like those children's movie rewatching those movies and those stories
- 18:08necessarily might not resonate. So it's, I feel like it's also like these people seeking out kind of like an
- 18:15aged up version of holidays or kind of putting the silliness of Christmas, but putting it into a horror one.
- 18:24So yeah, I think it's been really, really interesting, you know, like some really early examples of these movies were like
- 18:31whoever slew anti-rew, silent night, bloody night, black Christmas, and some of the other ones.
- 18:38The one that I remember as a kid and I'm not sure if you guys have seen this, it came out in 1997.
- 18:45It's Jack Frost. Now I will just claim here. This is not the one with Michael Keaton, right?
- 18:51It's not the Michael Keaton one. It's not the Michael Keaton one.
- 18:54It's not the Michael Keaton one. Yeah, no, it's not the Michael Keaton one.
- 18:57With the sad dad who like isn't there for a child.
- 19:01Turn to a snowman or something. Yeah, why are all Christmas movies about absentee fathers?
- 19:06Side down. That's weird. Yeah, that's suspicious.
- 19:11So it's the one with Shannon Elizabeth, so the girl from American Pie and 13 Ghosts.
- 19:18Okay.
- 19:19And so I don't know why they all have the same name. It's probably because it's like an older material that's like re-adapted.
- 19:26So it can't be copyrighted. Like Jack Frost has been around. So it's like what? The 20s?
- 19:31I mean, so many of these movies have the same title as we'll get to later. Like Silent Night.
- 19:36There's tons of movies with that name. And I think that's just, you're trying to go off a holiday trope in the state of that set.
- 19:43Yeah, the trip.
- 19:44Yeah. And they came out similar times. But if you've never seen the horror Jack Frost, it is so good.
- 19:50It's got the crap out of me as a kid. But it's the story is it's about a serial killer Jack Frost.
- 19:55He's being driven to be executed. And so his caught and the truck carrying the murderer encounters a blizzard accident.
- 20:04And he gets transformed into a mutant snowman as what is want to do. Yeah.
- 20:10So it is like the Michael Keaton Jack Frost. But instead it's a really evil person.
- 20:15And so it follows the story of the sheriff who like caught this guy originally. And he somehow knew that he would return.
- 20:24As a snowman. No, just that he would come back like after he caught him. But you know, they think he died in that accident.
- 20:33So it's kind of like them finding this killer snowman. But I just remember him like for can murdering someone with his nose.
- 20:41Like his little carrot. And I was afraid of it forever from the Olivia could need carrots for years.
- 20:48She gets wings and she's like celery only my god. Only baby carrots, you know, only baby.
- 20:54Yeah, he can't stab them over the baby. I mean, maybe, but that'd be harder.
- 20:59It's not as like a sharp. More pressure. Yeah, it's more rounded.
- 21:03You can shove into an ice socket or an ear.
- 21:06You can just back it. Yeah, you can show someone. If you like throw a bunch of baby carrots at the back of someone's throat.
- 21:13The baby bunny, the chubby bunny until they die. Yeah, okay, like my tilde.
- 21:19But with baby. Oh, yeah.
- 21:22Just who?
- 21:24Baby carrot. Baby carrot murder.
- 21:26Hashtag baby carrot murder.
- 21:28I love that. That's amazing.
- 21:31Well, I'm gonna have to watch that next. That's my god. You've never seen it.
- 21:35No, and you know, there are so many cheesy ones like as I was looking through Netflix for these.
- 21:41I just gingerbread men that turn evil Santa turns evil all these B horror movies, which I'm sure would be amazing after a few drinks.
- 21:50So I want to have like a holiday B horror movie.
- 21:56I tried to choose some good ones, but they all are shit.
- 22:01Yeah, it's just varying degrees of shit. Yeah, yeah, exactly. I love it.
- 22:08What are the movies I watched, which we've already kind of mentioned briefly a little bit was Black Christmas,
- 22:14which I watched the night, the 1974.
- 22:17That's the good one. Yes.
- 22:19Yes. And thanks for the recommendation, Sean.
- 22:22I was lost. I was lost. I was like, I don't know which ones to watch because there were a lot,
- 22:27but I was like, these all look kind of goofy.
- 22:29You feel so like which looks a good one.
- 22:32So I watched this one and actually was really good.
- 22:35And it is about a group of sorority girls that are being stalked on their Christmas break.
- 22:41And the main girl, Jess, she keeps getting phone calls at the sorority house.
- 22:46And it's kind of just like your typical, if you know the movie scream from Halloween,
- 22:52it's kind of like those types of phone calls, which is someone on the other end kind of like talking kind of scary voice.
- 22:57Three big heavy breathing.
- 22:59Yeah. That type of phone call.
- 23:01That was more bringing sexy breathing.
- 23:03I'm just sexy. You know, I can't help that stop breathing so sexual.
- 23:08This is just a Britney 2.0.
- 23:11It really is.
- 23:12It really.
- 23:13Or 3.0 since you already had a 2.0.
- 23:15There we go.
- 23:16There we go.
- 23:17And so it kind of starts off with a girl in the sorority being murdered.
- 23:24And she's kind of chilling up in the attic from what I remember.
- 23:28And the father of this girl that's murdered comes to the college campus and he's supposed to be meeting her at like one o'clock in the afternoon.
- 23:37So just kind of hang out with her meet up with her and she is not there to meet up with him.
- 23:42So he starts getting a little worried.
- 23:45He ends up going to the sorority house, kind of look at for her and everything on campus.
- 23:49This is not finding her.
- 23:51They don't really think anything about it.
- 23:52They're like, oh, she's probably just with the boy.
- 23:54The police.
- 23:55Like a slut.
- 23:56Say that.
- 23:57Please.
- 23:58Boy.
- 23:59This is 1924.
- 24:00Yeah.
- 24:01Oh, dare she have a boyfriend.
- 24:03I brush it off like it's nothing.
- 24:06And then as they have a search party later come out trying to look for her.
- 24:11They find another girl murdered in the park by the sorority house.
- 24:15And this kind of gets their worries up a little bit more.
- 24:19So then the police put a bug on the sorority house phones every time that phone rings.
- 24:24The phone at the police station will ring.
- 24:27So they could find out the location of where the person on the other end is calling from.
- 24:31They figure out that the person calling is in the sorority house.
- 24:36The guys are coming from inside the house.
- 24:41They try not to freak out Jess, but the police officer says it's in the house.
- 24:45It's in the house.
- 24:46It's in the house.
- 24:47And obviously they figure out don't bring Jess.
- 24:51Yeah.
- 24:52Jess is very calmly.
- 24:55And Jess is dating a guy named Peter.
- 24:58And this is at the beginning I should have mentioned this earlier because this is actually a pretty big part.
- 25:02Jess is pregnant and her boyfriend Peter is a part of the monastery I believe it's called.
- 25:07Or he's a part of the church or something.
- 25:09Is it a place religious?
- 25:10Religious.
- 25:11Yeah.
- 25:12Yeah, he's a religious boy.
- 25:13And so she wants to get an abortion and he's telling her no don't get an abortion.
- 25:17And she's like, you can't tell me what to do with my body.
- 25:19And I'm like, yes, queen.
- 25:22Girl, yeah.
- 25:23You tell him.
- 25:24But anyways, this kind of triggers him.
- 25:27So then it leads to him never being there when the phone calls are coming in.
- 25:33And then she is putting it together that it might be Peter, which is her boyfriend, blah, blah, blah.
- 25:40That's that movie.
- 25:41And really, really good.
- 25:42I really enjoyed it too.
- 25:44Yeah.
- 25:45It was really good.
- 25:46This is bad of me, but I've only ever seen the 2006 version with Michelle Trashnberg.
- 25:53And I've heard that that is the worst one.
- 25:56So I wanted to watch that one just because I do have a soft spot for Michelle Trashnberg.
- 26:01It's our girl.
- 26:02It's really.
- 26:03Yes, it's our donny.
- 26:04I don't know her.
- 26:05I didn't see the doner.
- 26:07Shit reviews.
- 26:08So it's so bad, but it does have all of our Hudson in it.
- 26:11Definitely recommend the 70s version.
- 26:14It has that perfect 1970s aesthetic, you know, just the old school telephone ringing on the wall
- 26:20and all of their outfits are just so groovy.
- 26:24I think it makes it stickier.
- 26:26And then the scene and the attic.
- 26:27I don't want to not just spoil a movie that came out.
- 26:30What was the 40 years ago?
- 26:32Yeah, I agree Nicole.
- 26:34It's really good.
- 26:35It is really good.
- 26:36I thoroughly enjoyed watching it.
- 26:38I am going to describe a movie that I watched that it's been sitting with me for a couple
- 26:43days since I viewed it.
- 26:45And it's funny because another movie by the same title just came out recently.
- 26:49So the one that I watched is called Silent Night.
- 26:52It stars Kira Knightley, Matthew Good, Lily Rose Depp is in it.
- 26:57Looking so hot.
- 26:59Right.
- 27:00A movie just came out called Silent Night.
- 27:02Gosh, and December within the last month or so.
- 27:06And I think it's also set in the holidays and it's a silent film.
- 27:10Oh.
- 27:11Yeah, so I think nobody, the whole chick is that there's no lines or very little lines in
- 27:16the movie.
- 27:17So haven't watched that one yet.
- 27:18It's got Joel Cannonman.
- 27:20It looks pretty good.
- 27:21This one is the Kira Knightley film.
- 27:23It was filmed in 2019.
- 27:27And that's important because it is in the before times in its pre-COVID.
- 27:32So the just of the movie in the beginning, you don't really get what's going down.
- 27:37I knew because I had read the synopsis and I did describe it to my husband and I just said,
- 27:42oh, we're going to watch this movie.
- 27:44It seems really interesting.
- 27:46And as they're gathering, all these friends are coming back from college at somebody's house
- 27:51in the mountains, huge snowy, gorgeous.
- 27:56They're all showing up and they're very overdressed, very glamorous.
- 28:00But then they keep saying things like, oh, we're out of water.
- 28:03I'm sorry.
- 28:04The store didn't have anymore.
- 28:06And well, the kids had to rob a convenience store to get the last pie and they're like letting
- 28:12the kids cuss.
- 28:13They were like, yeah, it's fine.
- 28:15You can cuss for the rest of the day.
- 28:16We don't care.
- 28:17And so it's like these little nuggets kind of sprinkled in like, what's going on here?
- 28:22Come to find out it is the end of the world.
- 28:24The apocalypse is happening on December 26.
- 28:28It is never really described what is happening.
- 28:33It's like a toxic fog coming.
- 28:35They're killing people.
- 28:37Exactly.
- 28:38They make a joke like Greta warned us.
- 28:40So it's something to do with global warming, you know, the environmental apocalypse.
- 28:45There's going to be a fog that engulfs the earth and no one can survive it.
- 28:49You breathe it in.
- 28:50You're going to bleed from the eyeballs and anus and die.
- 28:53It's like a Christmas that happening by M. Knight Shumulamalong.
- 28:58Yes.
- 28:59It's like a Christmas version of it.
- 29:01Yes.
- 29:02Better actors.
- 29:03Exactly.
- 29:04And so this group of friends are gathering it to celebrate their one final Christmas before
- 29:09they all die the next day.
- 29:12They do have the option to take a suicide pill if they don't want to experience the gas,
- 29:17which is promised to be an excruciatingly painful death.
- 29:21So most of the people in the house agree they're all going to take the suicide pill, which
- 29:25is supposed to just kind of lowly to sleep.
- 29:28I don't want to spoil the movie too much.
- 29:31But there are some characters who don't want to take the pill.
- 29:35And so there's kind of a back and forth there.
- 29:38The ending of the movie comes off as extremely anti-vax, which is hilarious.
- 29:43I wouldn't agree with that though.
- 29:45Really?
- 29:46I wouldn't agree.
- 29:48I thought it came off as anti-vax because thought, okay, spoilers for this movie that came
- 29:53out in 2021.
- 29:55Yeah.
- 29:57The kid who doesn't take the pill on the end survives the gas.
- 30:02Everyone else.
- 30:03No, he doesn't.
- 30:04Oh, yeah, he does.
- 30:05Yeah, he does.
- 30:06Sorry, I remember.
- 30:07Yeah, he does.
- 30:08Oh my god.
- 30:09He survives his eyes open in the end.
- 30:11So I look at it and I was like, that kind of reads as a little anti-vax.
- 30:15Like he was the one who was right.
- 30:18Everyone else who took the pill died and he didn't.
- 30:21So I read an interview with the director who is a, she's a feminist director.
- 30:27Camille Griffin, written and directed.
- 30:29She's making fun of conservatives for a lot of the movie.
- 30:33Even the main kid is saying things like, well, why don't the poor people or like the immigrants
- 30:38get the suicide pill and they're like, that's just the way it is.
- 30:41We get it and they don't.
- 30:43So they're speaking a lot to like white privilege and rich privilege in this film.
- 30:48But then in the end, it does kind of smack of anti-vax.
- 30:51And she said in the interview, she's like, that was not my intention in the slightest.
- 30:56She said, I made this movie before COVID.
- 31:00I'm very pro-vaccine.
- 31:02Like, and she goes, the fact that it came out after COVID and that's what everybody's like,
- 31:06oh cool anti-vax film.
- 31:09She's like, I'm fucking kicking my self-friend.
- 31:11That was not the whole point of the movie was.
- 31:14But like one thing that they say in the movies is like, if you survived, you would become
- 31:20like a weird zombie thing.
- 31:22Yeah, like they say.
- 31:24That's what I thought it was.
- 31:25I am a catch man.
- 31:26I kind of caught that like they said that no one could survive and he ends up surviving.
- 31:32Like the guy who was a doctor was like, this isn't something you can survive, but he
- 31:36we're all going to die.
- 31:37And then it kind of does.
- 31:38I mean, he's all alone and there's no resources in his family's all dead.
- 31:42So yeah, yeah, he's going to die.
- 31:45He's going to die.
- 31:46It is definitely, it's a dark film.
- 31:49It's got its funny points to it.
- 31:52It's got kind of a dark comedy undertone.
- 31:55And as it gets closer to the point where it's like, okay, they're all going to have to die
- 31:59soon.
- 32:00They're all going to take the pill.
- 32:01Then you kind of start getting that kind of anxious feeling in your chest and your gut.
- 32:05And they're all dealing with like the leftover drama that they have, you know, his friends
- 32:09at the end of the world.
- 32:10And I don't know, overall, I really liked it.
- 32:13I thought it was very well done.
- 32:14It is kind of depressing and dark, but also Christmassy and scary.
- 32:20Yeah.
- 32:21I liked that one.
- 32:22That was good.
- 32:23I was very happy when I watched this on Sounder.
- 32:25Like he lives girl with the fuck.
- 32:27Well, no, I remember in my mind being like, well, I think he's like a zombie thing because
- 32:31how do you have a brain?
- 32:32How do you have a brain aneurysm and then like have cognitive thought?
- 32:37Yeah, he was definitely bleeding a lot.
- 32:39He was bleeding out the brain like a zombie.
- 32:43I mean, he's not going to do well.
- 32:46That's what he might be.
- 32:48He might be alive for a little bit, but he probably should have taken the pill.
- 32:52Yeah.
- 32:53Dive his family.
- 32:54Yeah.
- 32:55Right.
- 32:56At the whole time during the movie, I was like, what'd I take it?
- 32:58What'd I do?
- 32:59And then I was like, I would definitely take it because I have for like most of my life when
- 33:03I've watched a zombie movie, I've just been like, if people were eating people around
- 33:07me, I'd just headshot baby.
- 33:08Yeah.
- 33:09So I would definitely take the pill.
- 33:11Definitely.
- 33:12Like I would definitely do that.
- 33:13Absolutely.
- 33:14I don't want to live through this shit.
- 33:15I want to die of noxious gas points.
- 33:18I'd be like the blonde bitch and just buy a really nice dress and be like, I'm dying in
- 33:23a dress.
- 33:24I did like how everyone would kind of wore y'all their expensive jewelry's and dresses
- 33:28that they never got to wear.
- 33:30Yeah.
- 33:31That was kind of a trope in seeking a friend for the end of the world to where characters
- 33:34shows up and she's wearing like a tiara just dripping with all of her jewelry.
- 33:39She owns it.
- 33:40And she girls like, why are you wearing it?
- 33:42She's like, oh, it's everything that I've always wanted to wear but was saving for a special
- 33:45occasion.
- 33:46And then they all do it.
- 33:48And then they all do it.
- 33:49Yeah.
- 33:50I would probably do that at the world designing.
- 33:52Most of the honest.
- 33:53I don't think I would.
- 33:54I would be afraid I would do the wrong amount and die before it.
- 33:57The world has ended, babe.
- 34:00I know, but like there's so much more I want to I just want to eat as much as I can.
- 34:03I just want to eat food.
- 34:05I'm not caring about the calories.
- 34:07I'm eating all the gluten.
- 34:09I love that the world has ended and the only thing you can think is like, I'm not going to
- 34:12be body shaming myself anymore.
- 34:14I'm not going to be body shaming myself anymore.
- 34:17I'm going to just be naked and eating and so happy.
- 34:22I love that for you.
- 34:24Let's let's achieve that goal before the world ends.
- 34:27Naked and eating anything I want.
- 34:29You know, I'm not body shaming herself.
- 34:32Not body shaming.
- 34:33That's a good one.
- 34:34Yes.
- 34:35Do not wait till the end of the world to not body shame yourself.
- 34:37Yes.
- 34:38Naked.
- 34:39Yes.
- 34:40Yes.
- 34:41Yes.
- 34:42And where are that jewelry?
- 34:43Maybe with a fork.
- 34:45Maybe not naked because then at the past is high.
- 34:47It'll burn you.
- 34:48Yeah.
- 34:49Well, it definitely burning off your hands.
- 34:51It was, it wasn't that bad.
- 34:54Okay.
- 34:55We're on a tangent.
- 34:57I digress.
- 34:58Okay.
- 34:59The next one that I watched is, you know, a real holiday classic, the crampus from 2015,
- 35:06which is one of the most ridiculous things ever.
- 35:09Crampus, we kind of talked about it before, but it's this lore.
- 35:13It's like the opposite of Santa.
- 35:15And so like, people used to say, "Cranpus came when you were bad."
- 35:19Like, they made it a naughty list, but, "Cranpus is this really fricking scary looking
- 35:25devil-like creature from Eastern Alpine folklore."
- 35:30So it kind of looks like the Yeti and the Devil combined is how I would describe him.
- 35:35But this movie is about, like, is so silly.
- 35:38So it has Tony Collette, Adam Scott, David Keckner.
- 35:43And it is so silly.
- 35:45So it's like this little kid who still believes in Santa.
- 35:52And he's, his grandmother is like German.
- 35:56And so she used to live in Germany, like, back in the day.
- 36:00And she convinces him to, like, still believe in Santa.
- 36:04But his cousins are like bullying him and making fun of him.
- 36:07And they find the note.
- 36:08They don't work.
- 36:09They find the note.
- 36:10And they're like, "Santa is even real."
- 36:12And so he rips up this note and throws it out the window, like, disregarding Santa in his
- 36:18life.
- 36:19And like, Santa's not real.
- 36:20And so that, like, sends in this invite for Crampus to come.
- 36:26And so the story is just like Adam Scott versus David Keckner.
- 36:31It's like a gun loving Republican, super ridiculous.
- 36:35And it's like, "I've got to defend the flock."
- 36:37And Adam Scott is just like, you know, Adam Scott in every movie.
- 36:42And, you know, I would really love, like, a very serious Crampus movie where it, like,
- 36:47really makes it, like, scary and in the olden times, like, things like the witch, but
- 36:52Crampus, like, I would love that.
- 36:54Like, an actual, like, Crampus horror movie that takes itself seriously.
- 36:59And it's not this movie.
- 37:02They literally have, like, these little, and merry bands are, like, gingerbread men that
- 37:06are, like, tea bagging people.
- 37:09I want to see the rotten tomato scores for those.
- 37:12I'm going to assume it's low.
- 37:14It's 66, which just feels right.
- 37:16Oh.
- 37:17Yeah.
- 37:1866, that's fresh.
- 37:19Oh, and then the next one for Google users is 69.
- 37:22It's nice.
- 37:23I don't think it's, yeah, I don't think it's that good.
- 37:25I think people were just determined to make the movie 69.
- 37:29I think that's that was what was happening here.
- 37:32But they have, like, these, it's just really, really silly, but the ending is pretty good.
- 37:38And I think it's, like, a good horror movie where, like, the ending doesn't turn out the
- 37:43way that you think it's going to, and it kind of, like, flips the whole, like, Christmas
- 37:47movie, like, everything's great and everything will be fine, like, trope.
- 37:52And it gets a little, like, black mirror-ish at the end of it.
- 37:55But, yeah, I really liked it.
- 37:56It's very, very silly and pretty funny if you want to see some Keckner jokes.
- 38:03It's very, like, his style comedy.
- 38:05Yeah.
- 38:06But there are a ton of crampus movies as well, but this one is the 2015 one.
- 38:11What was your next one, Nicole?
- 38:12My next one was Better Watch Out.
- 38:16And I don't know if there's multiple of these, but if there is, I watched the 2016 version.
- 38:22I've seen that one too.
- 38:24I still don't know how I feel about it.
- 38:26But I'm interested to hear your take on it.
- 38:30Also just putting it out there.
- 38:32I watched both of my movies on peacock.
- 38:34You were interested in watching either of those, especially the black Christmas 1974 version.
- 38:39It's on peacock.
- 38:40Crampus is also on peacock.
- 38:42Oh, hell yeah.
- 38:44It is about a quiet suburban street babysitter, and she must defend a 12-year-old boy from
- 38:50intruders, only to discover it's far from a normal home invasion, which, like,
- 38:56is a great description because for me, I was very shocked by the twist that was taken
- 39:02place in this movie.
- 39:03Me too.
- 39:04It has, I'm going to butcher her name, so I apologize to John.
- 39:07Olivia De Jong.
- 39:08Olivia De Jong.
- 39:09Yep, I was like, never enough with that way.
- 39:10Olivia De Jong.
- 39:11Olivia De Jong.
- 39:12Olivia's got her stick out for other Olivia.
- 39:14For downstairs names, right?
- 39:16Yeah.
- 39:17Yeah.
- 39:18I actually liked it.
- 39:23I think because of the twist that it had, it starts out with the girl, the babysitter,
- 39:31babysitting the 12-year-old boy, and just like any babysitter and boy, a female babysitter
- 39:37with the boy, he has a little crush on her.
- 39:40Oh, yeah.
- 39:41He's trying to get her interested in him.
- 39:43She's like, no, this is a little weird, like, I'm your babysitter.
- 39:48And this kind of triggers him.
- 39:51I don't know.
- 39:54I should leave a little bastard.
- 39:55Yeah.
- 39:56Yeah, do we want to give away the twist?
- 39:59Yeah.
- 40:00It's going to get a little bit.
- 40:01I'm just going to give it away because I can't talk to you.
- 40:03The twist is coming in.
- 40:04The twist is coming in in three, two, one.
- 40:06Okay, go.
- 40:07The 12-year-old boy is the home intruder.
- 40:11He's the one that is killing everyone.
- 40:14And he's a fucking psychopath.
- 40:16This kid is a little serial killer in the making.
- 40:21She is insane.
- 40:22The way it ramps up, I mean, he's a creep from the beginning.
- 40:25He tries to kiss her.
- 40:28And they try to kind of write it off.
- 40:30He's like, oh, he's just a silly boy.
- 40:32It's will be boys.
- 40:34And I think that is the interesting kind of trope in this movie is how far can we take
- 40:40boys?
- 40:41We'll be boys.
- 40:42Because he goes from trying to kiss her and then eventually committing lots of murder
- 40:47and like, fondling her breast and like, I mean, luring people over to kill them.
- 40:54And he doesn't understand like the scope of what he's doing.
- 40:58It just keeps ramping up so violently.
- 41:01I feel like it's like such a common trope in like movies where like plays on you expecting
- 41:09like the babysitter and the kid to like live and win.
- 41:14But he's evil.
- 41:15Yes.
- 41:16He's crazy.
- 41:19But Ashley, who is the main character, she has a boyfriend.
- 41:24The boyfriend comes over and she's kind of locked up.
- 41:28She's trapped to a chair in the kitchen.
- 41:31And her boyfriend is searching for her in the house and the boy Luke, who is the trope
- 41:37girl boy that she's babysitting is kind of following him around the house.
- 41:41And he's like, you're not going to find her.
- 41:42She's on her period.
- 41:43She's not feeling well.
- 41:44And the boyfriends like, well, I don't really care.
- 41:46That's nothing for her to be embarrassed about.
- 41:48I don't want to help her make her feel better.
- 41:51And it comes to a point where he's just annoyed so he gets his baseball bat hits him.
- 41:56That doesn't really do anything to the boyfriend.
- 41:58He gets back up.
- 41:59The boyfriend ends up getting locked up with the girl with Ashley in the kitchen.
- 42:06Then he ends up getting murdered, which they quote in the movie, which I love because
- 42:09Homolone is my favorite movie.
- 42:16Homolone style with the paint can to the face from the banister.
- 42:20Homolone, which I wish honestly as bad as it sounds, I wish we could have like sought
- 42:21happen.
- 42:22Yeah, they definitely cut away very specifically, but I do think yeah, I really like that
- 42:26eerie shot with the blood dripping down mixed with the paint like you know, something.
- 42:32It reminds me almost of in her red itary when her head hits the pole, but it doesn't show
- 42:38it and you just hear it and you know what happened is really bad and you're kind of left to your
- 42:43own imagination.
- 42:44Yes.
- 42:45But I will say my favorite part is the ending when he's in his room and the pencils are on
- 42:50his little door.
- 42:52And well, I guess that's not my favorite part, but very adamant.
- 42:55They're like the police are like, we have one alive.
- 42:57We have one alive.
- 42:58Oh, yeah.
- 42:59And you see Ashley getting into an ambulance and she just sticks a permit of finger at him
- 43:03right in his window.
- 43:04And I'm like, yes, queen.
- 43:06You tell them exactly what happened.
- 43:08So I see I was really not root.
- 43:11I when it got to the end where it looked like he was going to get away with it.
- 43:15And yeah, we're spoiling this entire movie.
- 43:17Sorry guys.
- 43:18Yeah.
- 43:19When it got to the point where it looked like he might get away with it.
- 43:21I was like, I don't think I like this movie.
- 43:23Like it's really sick that this kid is getting away with this.
- 43:27Like yeah, boys will be boys.
- 43:28He's getting away with all of this shit.
- 43:30He's going to be a little serial killer.
- 43:32But then when she ends up being alive.
- 43:33And I'm like, okay.
- 43:34All right.
- 43:35Yeah.
- 43:36I feel a little better even though we're poor.
- 43:39We won't give away all of the kills because there's multiple in this film.
- 43:43But within in the very end, did you see the after credit scene?
- 43:47Where he goes to his mom.
- 43:49He's like, I'm really worried about Ashley.
- 43:52I think we should go visit her in the hospital.
- 43:55And I was like, no, come on man.
- 43:58Come on.
- 43:59Yeah, it's like hinting that like the mom might drive them to the hospital to check on
- 44:04her.
- 44:05Yeah, they probably did it as like a let's do a second one kind of thing.
- 44:10It's like knocking her in the hospital.
- 44:12Like let's try the night after Christmas or something.
- 44:16Yeah.
- 44:17Like even a little open in the end.
- 44:19I like to think that she got this kid put away and never received a light of day again.
- 44:24Yeah.
- 44:25Definitely is a good twist.
- 44:26I agree.
- 44:27I was very surprised with the twist.
- 44:28I love that.
- 44:30Well, we will end this with a movie that I won't go into too much detail in because we talked
- 44:35about it on the podcast before and it did just come out last year.
- 44:39It's Violent Night starring our daddy favorite David Harbour as Santa Claus.
- 44:47I wildly recommend this movie.
- 44:50So it is about Santa Claus.
- 44:54He's kind of disillusioned with Christmas at this point.
- 44:58The Christmas magic is going out of the air.
- 45:00It opens and he's at a bar and he's like, and there's like a Santa person there and they're
- 45:05like, how long have you been doing this shit?
- 45:07And he's like too long going to think he ends up going to a house.
- 45:13It's a very wealthy house and it's being broken into by a gosh.
- 45:18How do you even describe them like hitman?
- 45:21Hitman mercenaries.
- 45:22Yeah.
- 45:23Breaking into the house in order to steal this $300 million cash fortune.
- 45:29The daughter in the house is hiding.
- 45:33She has a walkie talkie that she was given to from her dad.
- 45:36The he promises will connect her to Santa.
- 45:39And it works.
- 45:41So there are some amazingly gory scenes in this movie.
- 45:47And Christmas themed kills involving candy canes and light bulbs and reindeer.
- 45:56David Harbour is just incredible as Santa.
- 45:58I mean, we get into Santa's Viking past and towards the end of it, he kind of rediscoveres
- 46:05what makes him love the same thing.
- 46:06The meaning of murder.
- 46:07The meaning of Christmas is murdering to save children.
- 46:12Murdering John Leguizamo for the sake of Christmas.
- 46:15I watched that movie on Christmas last year with my family.
- 46:19It was great.
- 46:20It was really brought us together.
- 46:22I loved it so much.
- 46:24I mean, it's so gory.
- 46:26And there is a little homage to home alone in it as well.
- 46:30Just kind of setting up those little Christmas traps to take people down and take the bad guys
- 46:34down.
- 46:35The little girl in it is so adorable in her relationship with Santa's, you know, just
- 46:40kind of the crux of the film.
- 46:42And she kind of helps him as he defeats all of these bad guys that are all named after
- 46:47Christmas tropes as well.
- 46:49And Mr. Scrooge.
- 46:50John Leguizamo's character, the main bad guy is Mr. Scrooge.
- 46:53Yeah.
- 46:54I definitely recommend it if you guys haven't watched it yet.
- 46:57Again, it just came out last year.
- 46:59I know it's still kind of, it was during the Stranger Things renaissance of David Harbour.
- 47:05Lily Allen's husband.
- 47:07That's right.
- 47:08I don't remember what I watched it on to be.
- 47:12Totally honest with you, but I'm sure it's widely available because it is relatively new.
- 47:16Yeah.
- 47:17Yeah.
- 47:18I love it.
