- 0:05Welcome to The Hypnotist, the show that gives you inside
- 0:09access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing
- 0:12genuine. Issues.
- 0:13Brought to you by The Hypnotherapist, demanded by
- 0:16celebrities, CEOs and even royalty, Adam Cox.
- 0:20These recordings took place live from Adam's clinic in London's
- 0:24world famous Harley Street. So get yourself comfortable and
- 0:31enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:38Hi, it's Adam here Now. Let me ask you a question.
- 0:42Do you ever find yourself not doing the most important thing
- 0:47that you need to be doing? And maybe you feel overwhelmed
- 0:50because there's so many things that you need to be doing, but
- 0:53you can't quite do the thing that really needs to be done.
- 0:57Now, whether you're in business or an employee or just retired
- 1:02or anything else like you might have things that you need to do
- 1:05that you keep putting off. And whenever the thought comes
- 1:08into your head of I really should be doing that, you don't
- 1:11really feel in the mood and you end up doing something really
- 1:15either meaningless or low value work.
- 1:18Well, this session could be really beneficial for you
- 1:21because I was working with a client that was on the verge of
- 1:26launching their own business. And instead of getting really
- 1:29excited and productive at that pathway to freedom, they were
- 1:34actually getting a sense of overwhelm that was leading to
- 1:38procrastinations. They were doing things that
- 1:41didn't really need to be done and certainly wouldn't be the
- 1:43biggest levers that would build their business and and create
- 1:47that momentum. So there's certain elements in
- 1:50here that fuse hypnosis, flow state, psychology and time
- 1:55management all into this session.
- 1:57And one of the keys to it is clarity that if there is a fog
- 2:02of a million things to do, we need to find the one thing that
- 2:06is the most important thing that needs to be done now.
- 2:10The kind of thing that if you did that thing, you would feel
- 2:13like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders and you've
- 2:16actually got momentum back. And the great thing is, is that
- 2:19if you do that thing, and sometimes that thing is
- 2:23procrastinated for days and weeks, but when you do the
- 2:26thing, it only takes a few hours to actually get it done.
- 2:29But once you do that thing, notice how much momentum you
- 2:32always have when you finally do it.
- 2:34But many people will delay, delay, delay until there's
- 2:38absolutely a deadline. And when they finally do it,
- 2:41they feel a sense of relief, but they wonder, why didn't I do
- 2:44this earlier? Well, this hypnosis session
- 2:47helps to create clarity as to what needs to be done, help you
- 2:51prepare the environment to get it done, to avoid a distraction
- 2:56like a mobile phone or something that could interrupt you, and
- 3:00then create a state. Now, motion and music are some
- 3:04of the best ways that you can change a state.
- 3:08If you're feeling a bit drowsy, but then you suddenly had really
- 3:12loud music and you did 20 star jumps, guaranteed you're going
- 3:15to have a different level of energy after that than before.
- 3:19Now, you don't need to do exercise to change your state,
- 3:22but you need to do something. Now that thing could be an
- 3:26element of dancing around, or it could be just stretching, or it
- 3:30could be moving, or it could be kind of like jogging on the
- 3:33spot. But something that creates
- 3:36motion, and one of my favourite Tony Robbins quotes is motion
- 3:40creates emotion. So if you do something that gets
- 3:44you in that state, then you're more likely to get into that
- 3:47state. But also have what in this
- 3:50hypnosis session we call a neural ignition.
- 3:54Think of it as a trigger that can get you in a highly
- 3:57productive flow state regularly, predictably, and consistently.
- 4:02Now, if you had that, how would it change your overwhelm if
- 4:06every day you were chipping away at all these things that needed
- 4:09to be done? What if you're doing the most
- 4:11important things every day? And what if you did that
- 4:15consistently? How likely is that to change
- 4:18your future? So if any of these principles
- 4:21appeal, this is the session to listen to.
- 4:24It was created for an individual though, so some of the
- 4:26suggestions are going to be right for them and not quite
- 4:29right for you. But if you do like the idea of
- 4:32having a bespoke or customized session bill entirely for your
- 4:36needs, check out the link in the description or visit my website
- 4:39adamcox.co.uk. Book a free consultation call.
- 4:43We'll have a chat. And who knows, I might work with
- 4:45you live rather than through a recording.
- 4:47And then you actually get to experience a hypnosis session
- 4:49with me in real life, rather than a recording that was done
- 4:52for someone else. If that appeals, check that out.
- 4:55But for now, find a quiet, comfortable place where you're
- 4:59not going to be distracted or disturbed.
- 5:01Relax and enjoy the session. Take a deep breath in, and as
- 5:39you breathe in, find that rhythm of breathing that helps you to
- 5:47relax with each and every breath.
- 5:52And set the intention that as you exhale, any frustrations,
- 6:00any overwhelm, any stress feels like it's melting away and
- 6:10leaving your body in that outward breath.
- 6:17And as you breathe in, imagine breathing in a feeling of
- 6:25absolute clarity. I want you to get a sense.
- 6:31Then. Overwhelm can feel like fog,
- 6:37whereas clarity and focus feels like pure vision of the one
- 6:44thing that is most important. And I wonder what clarity would
- 6:56look like if you could breathe it in.
- 7:02Maybe a light like bright white or perhaps something fully
- 7:10transparent. I want you to get a sense that
- 7:17you are breathing in clarity and exhaling confusion or doubt.
- 7:29Each breath takes you deeper and deeper, relaxed now.
- 7:44And I want you to reflect just how much of your cognitive
- 7:50energy and your physical energy has been leaking in small
- 7:58invisible ways. Open loops, unfinished business,
- 8:06background pressure, a vague sense of I should be doing
- 8:13something important without ever clarifying on what that actually
- 8:20means. And instead of fighting that,
- 8:27you simply acknowledge it. Because overwhelm is not a flaw,
- 8:38it's a signal. If you had not much to do, you
- 8:46wouldn't be inspired to do something magnificent.
- 8:51What if the overwhelm is a signal that you're standing at
- 8:57the edge of something meaningful, transformative,
- 9:03inspirational? No need for guilt or shame or
- 9:09frustration. But there is a need to distill
- 9:16within the overwhelm what comes first.
- 9:23So now allow the body to settle, take a slow breath in, but a
- 9:32much longer breath out. And as the body relaxes, the
- 9:40mind begins to organise itself. And you've seen that before.
- 9:49Computer's doing a messy hard drive.
- 9:53But you can click a few buttons and it might organise that data
- 10:00in a more useful way as you start to feel that that process
- 10:07of defragmentation is happening inside your own mind.
- 10:16And you don't have to force it to become organised, but just
- 10:22through relaxation, acceptance, and alignment.
- 10:28And I want you to imagine what it would feel like to set things
- 10:39up, to win, to accomplish. I want you to imagine organizing
- 10:50the physical environment where you work to be clear of any
- 10:56clutter, any distractions. Just imagine seeing yourself
- 11:07like you're someone else. Organize your environment, or
- 11:11perhaps even move to an environment where there is no
- 11:17distractions. Imagine seeing that version of
- 11:23you place your phone in another room, not with resistance or
- 11:30reluctance, but with discipline, with relief, as if you're saying
- 11:36to your mind, you don't need to scan the world right now.
- 11:42I've got this. And as that boundary is set, a
- 11:47clean environment, the biggest distraction somewhere else, a
- 11:55boundary is set in. Your nervous system receives and
- 12:00accepts the message that this time is protected.
- 12:09Nothing urgent is missing, and nothing valuable is being lost.
- 12:16Only distraction is being removed, and not permanently,
- 12:23just for a window of time. And in that removal, clarity
- 12:30begins to emerge. And I want you to imagine seeing
- 12:36that version of you beginning a ritual.
- 12:42Imagine seeing that version of you starting a playlist and the
- 12:47music starts and it isn't random music, but your music.
- 12:54A specific combination of songs that get you in a state of
- 13:02feeling alive or feeling free or feeling focused.
- 13:10Perhaps you can even imagine music that carries momentum,
- 13:15music that signals purpose. And as the sound fills that
- 13:21space, you begin to move, and not aimlessly, but rhythmically.
- 13:30And maybe it's a walk, a sway, a stretch, a star jump, or a
- 13:36deliberate physical motion that tells your brain we're switching
- 13:41modes now. And what if that movement
- 13:48becomes a neural ignition? Each step in motion clear static
- 13:57and sharpens awareness, and your mind can stop scanning
- 14:03everything and begin focusing on the next essential thing.
- 14:14Because before even the music and the state, you figured out
- 14:21what is the single most important use of your time right
- 14:25now? Which thing, if accomplished,
- 14:32would create momentum and move me forward?
- 14:36That's where your clarity comes from.
- 14:39And clarity combined with energy create something magical,
- 14:47because something fascinating is happening here.
- 14:51The fog lifts, not all at once, but cleanly, so that you don't
- 14:59see everything you'll ever need to do.
- 15:03You see the priority right now? Clear, contained, achievable.
- 15:13And your mind recognises this state.
- 15:18This is an effort. This isn't the grind, the
- 15:22hustle. This is flow.
- 15:29You can think of flow as a state where focus feels natural, time
- 15:36compresses, decisions become obvious, creativity and
- 15:44execution merge. You're no longer trying to be
- 15:50productive. You are productive.
- 15:57And when your neural ignition is activated, notice how your
- 16:02thinking changes, how ideas connect faster.
- 16:10Distractions lose their pool, becoming small, black and white,
- 16:14distant. Your mind begins working for
- 16:19you, not against you. Intuitively, you see what
- 16:25matters, what doesn't, and what moves your business forward
- 16:32today. Not perfection, Progress.
- 16:39Because if you can be focused for half an hour, then you can
- 16:43be focused for an hour. And if you can be focused for an
- 16:48hour, you can replicate that as many times as you need.
- 16:53And what if each completed action fuels the next?
- 17:00What if momentum becomes self-sustaining?
- 17:05What if the work itself now maintains the state?
- 17:12I want you to think of an artist.
- 17:17They have their canvas, they have their paints, they're in
- 17:21their studio with no distractions, and they're clear
- 17:25on what they want to create. They can only maintain that
- 17:31state of inspiration if they start putting paint to canvas.
- 17:38The work continues this state. What's the point in igniting a
- 17:46rocket if the rocket never takes off?
- 17:52So imagine seeing that version of you.
- 17:57Clear the environment, put the distractions away, activate the
- 18:02state, and then in that flow state, do what needs to be done,
- 18:10either by completing the task or doing the work for that period
- 18:18of time that you've agreed with yourself.
- 18:23And as you see that, you can see a different identity within you
- 18:31see a version of you with a new identity quietly installing
- 18:35itself not as someone trying to start a business, but someone
- 18:43who executes, someone who creates structure from chaos,
- 18:51someone who trusts their own clarity.
- 18:56Procrastination was never laziness.
- 19:00It was misdirected intelligence, but now that intelligence has a
- 19:09channel. So imagine from this point
- 19:14forward, that ritual gets you in the state, so that whenever you
- 19:21put your phone in another room, start the music, clear away the
- 19:27clutter and move your body with intention, your nervous system
- 19:32remembers, your neural ignition ignites, and the state returns
- 19:40faster. The transition becomes smoother,
- 19:45and flow becomes familiar. And maybe the first time you
- 19:53access this flow state, it takes 10 minutes.
- 19:55But what if the next time it's 9 minutes, and then eight and then
- 20:01seven? Want you to think of a time when
- 20:05you can get in that flow state in seconds.
- 20:13What if your flow state becomes so accessible and reliable that
- 20:19you don't wait for motivation? You create the flow state, you
- 20:27enter alignment. And I want you to imagine what
- 20:34that version of you that can create that flow state to do
- 20:39focused work for however long you decide to do it.
- 20:44What could they accomplish in a week, in a month, in a year?
- 20:52Before you return back to the present, I want you to imagine a
- 20:56giant vision board of your future and I want you to imagine
- 21:03your life one year from now. I want you to imagine what would
- 21:09one year of harnessing a flow state consistently do to your
- 21:16future. Maybe a future of high profile
- 21:21clients. Maybe a future where you've
- 21:28earned more than a million in revenue for your clients.
- 21:34Maybe. Maybe you see a future where you
- 21:38have more freedom because of all that productive work that came
- 21:44before it. And when you get a sense of what
- 21:50the future looks like, when you harness this state, when you
- 21:56ignite the neural ignition, let me know by nodding your head.
- 22:05Consider this not wishful thinking, not fantasy, but a
- 22:15natural cause and effect relationship.
- 22:19Your intuition knows your future based on your boundaries, your
- 22:26habits, your standards. You have unlocked a magic
- 22:32formula. Get absolute clarity on the most
- 22:37important thing to work on now, not forever.
- 22:42Clear the clutter and distractions.
- 22:44Phone in a different room. Use motion and music to activate
- 22:49a state and then like the artist when you're in that state, do
- 22:56your best work. Allow the flow state to give you
- 23:00creativity, productivity, focus. That's it.
- 23:12I want you to get a sense, a sense that you are not waiting
- 23:18to feel in the right mood. You have a magic formula to
- 23:25create the state that ensures great work.
- 23:34And as you hold that thought, imagine floating all the way
- 23:36back to the present. Take a deep breath in through
- 23:38your nose and out through your nose.
- 23:44Just wiggle your fingers, wiggle your toes.
- 23:47Connect and calibrate with the here and the now as I now count
- 23:55from 1:00 to 10:00 to awaken you.
- 23:59Starting to count 123 waking up 456 more alert 7-8.
- 24:06Open your eyes. Open your eyes 910.
- 24:09Wide awake, wide awake, wide awake.
