- 0:00Speaker 1: Talking about everything you care about. Mark some moons on woo. Hey,
- 0:09Speaker 1: it's Thursday already, practically on the weekend. Hey, remember you've
- 0:11Speaker 1: got a three day weekend coming up. You got Valentine's
- 0:15Speaker 1: Day Saturday, which is a real pain in the you know, restaurants.
- 0:19Speaker 1: It drives them crazy. You think they'd love it because well,
- 0:22Speaker 1: they're going to be packed Valentine's Day in it, but
- 0:24Speaker 1: it's all tables of two. They're gonna go in a restaurant.
- 0:28Speaker 1: There's a lot of tables for four, tables for two,
- 0:30Speaker 1: there's tables for six. So, believe it or not, every
- 0:33Speaker 1: restaurant has to get rid of all their furniture. They
- 0:36Speaker 1: have to all get kick all their furniture out and
- 0:40Speaker 1: rent tables for two because they have to do the
- 0:42Speaker 1: whole room in tables for two, or as they call
- 0:45Speaker 1: them in the restaurant business, deuces. And it's a you know,
- 0:50Speaker 1: they do make a lot of money Valentine's Day, but
- 0:53Speaker 1: everybody it's Saturday night Valentine's Day, So everybody that works
- 0:56Speaker 1: in the restaurant business obviously can't go out with their
- 1:00Speaker 1: or girlfriend or boyfriend that night. They're all working. So
- 1:05Speaker 1: Sunday is known as industry. Valentine's Day night. That's wheneverybody
- 1:10Speaker 1: in the restaurant business can go out Sunday night. Hey.
- 1:14Speaker 1: The latest and the Guthrie kidnapping is they've now put
- 1:19Speaker 1: a big white tent up covering up the entrance to
- 1:24Speaker 1: Nancy Guthrie's home. You know, there's a little porch there
- 1:27Speaker 1: and an entrance. It's all covered with a big white tent.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Now why would they cover it with a white tent?
- 1:34Speaker 1: Usually because they don't want you to see what they're
- 1:35Speaker 1: doing in there. There's photographers and cameras everywhere, and they
- 1:39Speaker 1: don't want you to know what they're probably doing something
- 1:41Speaker 1: in there involving the door, taking it off, taking it apart,
- 1:46Speaker 1: clues of some kind on there. Word is they found
- 1:49Speaker 1: two gloves, not one. There's a second glove. When you
- 1:53Speaker 1: wear that kind of big, big heavy glove in that
- 1:55Speaker 1: kind of heat, you're gonna sweat a lot. So they're
- 1:57Speaker 1: looking for DNA inside that sweat. They got eighteen thousand
- 2:03Speaker 1: tips that they have to go through, so that's going
- 2:07Speaker 1: to take a while. Savannah Guthrie's latest statement is they
- 2:09Speaker 1: will never ever ever give up. She's put out some
- 2:12Speaker 1: video that's quite touching of her mother as you know,
- 2:16Speaker 1: much young as a young mom with her two very
- 2:19Speaker 1: young kids. Just very touching to watch. So we'll keep
- 2:24Speaker 1: following it for you. Hey, midterm elections. You know, in
- 2:28Speaker 1: the midterms, you got a lot of seats that are up.
- 2:31Speaker 1: In fact, more than usual. More than usual. People are
- 2:34Speaker 1: leaving Congress, retiring, quitting, you know, whatever reason. So you
- 2:39Speaker 1: gonna have a lot of seats up. Now, this is
- 2:41Speaker 1: a big moment for the Republican National Committee, the RNC
- 2:45Speaker 1: and the DNC because they have to go to work
- 2:47Speaker 1: and do everything they can to support their candidates. Now,
- 2:51Speaker 1: the RNC has double the money of the DNC as
- 2:55Speaker 1: far as fundraising. More money is going to Republicans Democrats
- 3:00Speaker 1: from the public. The RNC now has three hundred and
- 3:03Speaker 1: twenty million dollars three hundred and twenty million. The DNC
- 3:07Speaker 1: only has one hundred and seventy million, so they're a
- 3:10Speaker 1: huge financial disadvantage. But again, a lot of seats up, programs.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Anything could happen. It's too early to tell. I know,
- 3:19Speaker 1: you see all these predictions in those polymarket things, but
- 3:22Speaker 1: it means absolutely nothing at this point. The President has
- 3:26Speaker 1: a State of the Union speech coming up and that
- 3:29Speaker 1: could make a real difference. Now you've seen how crazy
- 3:32Speaker 1: Congress gets. You watched the Pam Bondi hearings yesterday, and
- 3:36Speaker 1: good for her. She told them off. She wasn't going
- 3:38Speaker 1: to take any of their crap. He had the worst
- 3:41Speaker 1: of the worst of the Democrats on the committee, I
- 3:43Speaker 1: mean the real lowlife, real dirty Jerry Nadler, Jamie Raskin types.
- 3:49Speaker 1: And if you're watching Democratic TV like MSNBC or CNN
- 3:54Speaker 1: all day long, they're talking about how disrespectful Pam Bondy is.
- 3:57Speaker 1: How dare she speak to them like that? How dare
- 4:00Speaker 1: she called them this and then? But she was just
- 4:03Speaker 1: mirroring them. They asked them the most awful, stupid, ridiculous
- 4:07Speaker 1: gotcha questions. You know, they were trying to make it
- 4:11Speaker 1: sound like she was covering up the Epstein files, and
- 4:13Speaker 1: she kept screaming back at them, you're the people that
- 4:16Speaker 1: hid it for four years. You know, you're trying to
- 4:18Speaker 1: make it look like it's all my problem. For four years,
- 4:20Speaker 1: you hid the Epstein file, refuse to even look at it.
- 4:24Speaker 1: And she's got a good point there, but it's just
- 4:27Speaker 1: getting really nasty, ugly. Hey, you always saw that where
- 4:31Speaker 1: the Democrats would beat up a witness and a hearing.
- 4:33Speaker 1: But this was particularly ugly and stupid. The questions, the yelling,
- 4:37Speaker 1: the screaming from Democrats, and she gave it right back.
- 4:40Speaker 1: But it's making people worry about the State of the
- 4:43Speaker 1: Union speech. What are they going to do? You know,
- 4:45Speaker 1: when the President has to go in front of Congress,
- 4:47Speaker 1: Democrats tend to misbehave a lot, you know, walking out
- 4:51Speaker 1: or booing or well, we'll see what they do in Congress. Now.
- 4:55Speaker 1: You know, there's some people that have talked to the
- 4:57Speaker 1: President about doing the State of the Union speech somewhere else,
- 5:03Speaker 1: not in Congress. You know, there's no rule that you
- 5:05Speaker 1: got to do it in front of Congress. He could
- 5:08Speaker 1: do it any place he wants State of the Union speech,
- 5:11Speaker 1: and it might be a good idea. Don't do it
- 5:12Speaker 1: in front of Congress. Don't do it in front of
- 5:14Speaker 1: the Democrats in Congress. Do it somewhere in America. Do
- 5:17Speaker 1: it in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Do it in Philadelphia, do
- 5:21Speaker 1: it in Texas, do it in the middle of America.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Do it at Mount Rushmore. You can. You can do
- 5:26Speaker 1: this speech anywhere you want, so don't be surprised if
- 5:28Speaker 1: at some point that happens. Hey, you've seen you remember
- 5:34Speaker 1: Nicki Haley. You remember that nasty woman, Nicki Haley, very unpleasant.
- 5:40Speaker 1: You might like her when you see her in a
- 5:41Speaker 1: debate or you watch her on TV. I like that
- 5:44Speaker 1: Nicki Haley. How come they didn't give her something in
- 5:46Speaker 1: the Trumpet? Well, the real reason is to let you
- 5:50Speaker 1: in on some behind the scenes stuff. The real reason
- 5:52Speaker 1: is behind the scenes, she is the nastiest woman, scheming, scamming.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Everybody can't stand her. Every ever worked with her. I'll
- 6:01Speaker 1: tell you she's the worst person they ever worked with.
- 6:03Speaker 1: And she might have seen her on TV the last
- 6:06Speaker 1: couple of nights bashing Donald Trump, bashing the Trump administration.
- 6:11Speaker 1: But she was in the Trump administration the first term.
- 6:13Speaker 1: He didn't want her there. It was a favor to
- 6:16Speaker 1: I'm forgetting his name. He was the lieutenant governor of
- 6:19Speaker 1: South Carolina. Trump loved him and owed him and wanted
- 6:23Speaker 1: to give him a job. And he said, I'd really
- 6:24Speaker 1: like to be the governor. If you could just get
- 6:27Speaker 1: Nicki Haley out of here, I'd become governor. He was
- 6:29Speaker 1: lieutenant governor. Trump said, Okay, I got a job. I
- 6:33Speaker 1: could dump her in and he made her un ambassador.
- 6:36Speaker 1: It's a totally worthless, idiotic job, serves no purpose that
- 6:41Speaker 1: they gave it to her. But she was always always
- 6:45Speaker 1: a problem anywhere near the White House, scheming, scamming, Nobody
- 6:49Speaker 1: trusted her. Just a horrible woman behind the scenes. And
- 6:54Speaker 1: you know, it's kind of like that, not as bad,
- 6:56Speaker 1: but Carrie Lake, Carrie Lake. Trump had to give her something,
- 7:01Speaker 1: so he stuck her at the Voice of America, which
- 7:03Speaker 1: another totally worthless, meaningless, dead end job. They couldn't care
- 7:07Speaker 1: less what the hell happens at the Voice of America's
- 7:09Speaker 1: they stuck over there. But Carrie, like, she's not as
- 7:12Speaker 1: bad as Nicki Haley, but she's pretty unpleasant behind the scenes.
- 7:15Speaker 1: You do not want to be around this woman. I've
- 7:18Speaker 1: seen it myself a couple of times in different settings.
- 7:21Speaker 1: But she wants to run for Congress. Voice of America
- 7:24Speaker 1: is a meaningless job, so she wants to run for Congress,
- 7:28Speaker 1: and she'd like the President to indorse her, and he
- 7:31Speaker 1: has no use for her her Nicki Haley. Nobody wants
- 7:33Speaker 1: to be anywhere near them. So apparently she went to
- 7:36Speaker 1: the White House earlier this week to try to get
- 7:40Speaker 1: him to endorse her people in the White House, saying
- 7:44Speaker 1: she waited in the White House lobby trying to see
- 7:46Speaker 1: Donald Trump. She waited there for several hours. He didn't
- 7:50Speaker 1: want to go anywhere near her, didn't want to run
- 7:52Speaker 1: into her. But she waited and waited and waited, finally
- 7:57Speaker 1: giving up. That's the good news, hey, CNN. This here's
- 8:02Speaker 1: some good news. You want, you want to cheer you up.
- 8:05Speaker 1: You know, during the first Trump administration, CNN got what
- 8:07Speaker 1: they call a Trump bump. Oh, ratings were way up
- 8:11Speaker 1: for CNN when Donald Trump was there the first time.
- 8:15Speaker 1: And remember Chris Cuomo, Don Lemonley's shows. They weren't doing great.
- 8:19Speaker 1: They were never anywhere near the ratings Fox had, but
- 8:22Speaker 1: they were doing better than ever. They were doing great
- 8:26Speaker 1: for them for them. Well, it's the second Trump term
- 8:30Speaker 1: and for whatever reason, CNN is just taking a huge drop.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Nobody's watching CNN anymore. In fact, primetime viewership, primetime viewership
- 8:41Speaker 1: is down to five hundred thousand, daytime viewership down to
- 8:45Speaker 1: four hundred thousand, They're down about forty five percent in
- 8:49Speaker 1: the second Trump term. People just have no use for
- 8:51Speaker 1: CNN anymore now. One reason besides in fact, nobody likes
- 8:56Speaker 1: CNN anymore. Is a lot of people are cutting the cord,
- 9:00Speaker 1: getting rid of their cable, and the number of US
- 9:03Speaker 1: households that got rid of cable is now eighty million people.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Eighty million people have gotten rid of cable. You know,
- 9:10Speaker 1: you don't need it anymore. You can do all the
- 9:13Speaker 1: streaming services Netflix, all that. But what if you want
- 9:16Speaker 1: to watch the TV channels? The channel four, channel five.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Hulu is very good. You can get Hulu. Well, if
- 9:22Speaker 1: you have Hulu, you have to pay extra for Hulu Live.
- 9:25Speaker 1: That'll give you all the TV channels and that way
- 9:28Speaker 1: you can watch it on your phone, your iPad wherever
- 9:30Speaker 1: you are. What else? YouTube TV? YouTube TV's got a
- 9:34Speaker 1: lot of channels. Pluto TV is excellent. You know, if
- 9:39Speaker 1: you like to watch Blue Bloods over and over again,
- 9:42Speaker 1: or Law and Order or all the Pluto TV. It's free.
- 9:46Speaker 1: It's absolutely free. It has ads, commercials, but it's free.
- 9:50Speaker 1: There's a Blue Bloods network that just runs Blue Bloods
- 9:52Speaker 1: twenty four hours a day. Same thing with Law and
- 9:54Speaker 1: Order and like millions of shows. You'll try Pluto TV.
- 9:59Speaker 1: You'll be quite amazed. Hey, remember the Epstein hearings with
- 10:05Speaker 1: Howard Lutnick. Lutnick denied havn't been around Epstein in ten years.
- 10:10Speaker 1: But they found out he had lunch with him, more
- 10:12Speaker 1: and more calls for him to resign. Now, why the
- 10:15Speaker 1: hell would you resign because you had lunch with Jeffrey Epstein?
- 10:19Speaker 1: You know who had lunch with Jeffrey Epstein? Almost every
- 10:21Speaker 1: major figure in business, government, world leaders, everybody you could name.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Why would you have to resign over that? I mean
- 10:31Speaker 1: he had lunch with him for an hour. He brought
- 10:33Speaker 1: his wife and kids with him, another couple, he brought
- 10:37Speaker 1: his two nannies. I mean, there were a lot of
- 10:39Speaker 1: people there. It didn't mean anything. I don't know why
- 10:42Speaker 1: you have to resign over there. But they're yelling at
- 10:44Speaker 1: This is what they're yelling and screaming about on CNN
- 10:48Speaker 1: last night and MSNBC still today. They can't believe it.
- 10:52Speaker 1: You know, the Pam Bondi hearings. You know, if you're
- 10:55Speaker 1: watching MSNBC today, they're all talking about Morning Joe, how
- 10:58Speaker 1: outrageous her behavior. So how dare she speak to Congress
- 11:01Speaker 1: like that? And they were going on for three hours.
- 11:03Speaker 1: I don't think they realize normal people go to work
- 11:07Speaker 1: every day. They they're not watching the Pam Bondi testimony
- 11:11Speaker 1: in front of Congress. They have jobs, they work all day.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Nobody's paying any attention to this. The MSNBC audience is
- 11:18Speaker 1: pretty tiny, you know, it's like six seven hundred thousand,
- 11:22Speaker 1: that's it. They're not outside of that than other three
- 11:27Speaker 1: hundred million people in America not worrying about Pam Bondi
- 11:31Speaker 1: in her testimony. Hey, you know a lot of fake
- 11:35Speaker 1: news everywhere, obviously, the New York Times fake news, Washington
- 11:40Speaker 1: Post fake news, the networks, Axios, Daily Beast, fake news,
- 11:49Speaker 1: just all left wings slanted. But if you got your
- 11:52Speaker 1: iPhone and they you get your iPhone, they try to
- 11:55Speaker 1: make you have Apple News. You get three months free
- 11:58Speaker 1: of Apple News. Sign up for Apple News. Well, Apple
- 12:02Speaker 1: News is one of the worst news services in the world.
- 12:05Speaker 1: It is so biased and so slanted. It's just awful.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Don't ever use Apple News. But the Media Research Center,
- 12:13Speaker 1: which very good to studying this stuff, did a massive
- 12:17Speaker 1: study on Apple News. They checked like a last seven
- 12:22Speaker 1: hundred stories, out of which like eighty percent of them
- 12:25Speaker 1: were from real left wing fake news things like PBS,
- 12:31Speaker 1: Washington Post, New York Times, and they never used any
- 12:36Speaker 1: what would be considered a mainstream conservative site like The
- 12:39Speaker 1: New York Post or Fox News. But it was ridiculously slanted,
- 12:45Speaker 1: I mean, amazingly biased Apple News, not even any attempt
- 12:49Speaker 1: to even make it balanced. So it has gone to
- 12:52Speaker 1: the FTC. The Federal Trade Commissioner is looking at this now.
- 12:55Speaker 1: The chairman is warning Apple News that they may have
- 12:58Speaker 1: violated consumer protection laws, and they've sent a fiery letter
- 13:03Speaker 1: to Apple that they better clean this up and fix it.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Tim Cook has not responded yet, but this is going
- 13:11Speaker 1: to be a serious thing for Apple. Be interesting to
- 13:13Speaker 1: see what happens here if you can get one of
- 13:15Speaker 1: these fake news sites like Apple News to actually clean
- 13:18Speaker 1: themselves up. They're trying to do it at CBS very slowly,
- 13:23Speaker 1: but let's see what Apple does in this case. Hey,
- 13:25Speaker 1: we'll take some calls in a minute. Eight hundred three
- 13:28Speaker 1: two one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred
- 13:32Speaker 1: three two one zero seven ten.
