• 2:34
Speaker 4: So, my man, how are you today? Hope you had
• 2:36
Speaker 4: a good weekend, and.
• 2:37
Speaker 2: I was going to ask you how your summer's gone
• 2:39
  Speaker 2: so far.
• 2:39
Speaker 4: It's gone great, although it has been consumed with getting
• 2:43
Speaker 4: our twins ready for colleagues. They're about to leave and
• 2:46
Speaker 4: we're excited for them. Man, But I gotta tell you what,
• 2:48
Speaker 4: like this morning, for some reason, we get up early,
• 2:50
Speaker 4: and I was like super depressed thinking about them being gone.
• 2:53
Speaker 4: It's gonna be tough. We just love having them around.
• 2:55
Speaker 4: I mean, we have three kids, our older daughters in
• 2:56
Speaker 4: college already, so man, it's gonna be a strange transition.
• 3:00
Speaker 4: Just the total quiet in the house. I'm not gonna
• 3:02
Speaker 4: like it. I'm not gonna like it.
• 3:04
Speaker 2: As a non parent, I'll say, you may not like
• 3:07
Speaker 2: it for a while, but then when they come back.
• 3:09
Speaker 2: This is what my friends have told me. Well then
• 3:11
Speaker 2: when they come back in let's say Thanksgiving or whatever,
• 3:14
Speaker 2: then you're kind of like, hey, remember how quiet it
• 3:16
Speaker 2: used to be in the South.
• 3:18
Speaker 4: Yeah, well yeah, they'll they'll become their own people too,
• 3:20
Speaker 4: Like I know that's gonna happen, and they can't be.
• 3:22
Speaker 5: You know, kids forever. They got to grow up. And
• 3:24
Speaker 5: we're excited for him.
• 3:24
Speaker 4: But I'll tell you just it's we're gonna miss them
• 3:27
  Speaker 4: a lot.
• 3:27
Speaker 2: Where they going to school.
• 3:29
  Speaker 5: So our older.
• 3:29
Speaker 4: Daughter right now was at Ohio University in Athens, and
• 3:32
Speaker 4: her younger brother, one of our twins, he'll be there
• 3:35
Speaker 4: with her for a year. He's going to be a
• 3:36
Speaker 4: freshman there in the fall. But his twin sister is
• 3:38
Speaker 4: going to go to the University of South Carolina and Columbia,
• 3:41
Speaker 4: so they're gonna split up. This will be the first
• 3:42
Speaker 4: time I haven't been together, so that'll be an unusual
• 3:45
Speaker 4: time for them as well.
• 3:46
Speaker 2: All Right, a couple of things I want to talk
• 3:49
Speaker 2: to you about. I want to talk about bridges. All right,
• 3:52
Speaker 2: you were joking about building bridges, which is what you
• 3:55
Speaker 2: try to do at the capitol, Hope, but I want
• 3:58
Speaker 2: to talk about actual bridges. You know, there's some pre
• 4:01
Speaker 2: project type org being done to get ready for the
• 4:03
Speaker 2: deck replacement on the Carter Bridge. For what I know
• 4:06
Speaker 2: you've been kind of monitoring all this talk about this, well.
• 4:09
Speaker 4: The Eugene Carter Bridge at the Fort Hill Bridge. People
• 4:12
Speaker 4: call it both things that one sets begins construction. There'll
• 4:16
Speaker 4: be some pre construction stuff that happens in the fall,
• 4:18
Speaker 4: but then we get to twenty twenty seven and it'll
• 4:20
Speaker 4: be in full swing on the construction for that bridge,
• 4:23
Speaker 4: and that's going to be a huge project. That's the
• 4:24
Speaker 4: busiest bridge in the entire state of West Virginia. It's
• 4:26
Speaker 4: got the most traffic by far. It's really an East
• 4:29
Speaker 4: coast connector bridge. There's just a lot of traffic that
• 4:32
Speaker 4: flows across that bridge from all over the eastern US,
• 4:35
  Speaker 4: and that's a major project. There's been a lot of
• 4:37
Speaker 4: defer maintenance over the years. There was a twenty twenty
• 4:39
Speaker 4: five kind of like redecking of that bridge, which helps
• 4:42
Speaker 4: solve some of the problems in the short term, but
• 4:44
Speaker 4: it really needs a long term fix. So I gave
• 4:47
Speaker 4: the governor credit last week and the Department of Transportation
• 4:50
Speaker 4: Secretary of Runbaugh that you know, new construction is where
• 4:54
Speaker 4: all the fanfare is when you build something new there's
• 4:56
Speaker 4: never been there before. People like that in the ribbon
• 4:58
Speaker 4: cutting and it's something you know, shiny. The maintenance programs
• 5:01
Speaker 4: don't get any fanfare, and really it's the opposite. People
• 5:04
Speaker 4: a lot of times become critical because we need our
• 5:06
Speaker 4: bridges and roads to be fixed. But it's a big
• 5:08
Speaker 4: inconvenience when they when that's happening in this Fort Hill Bridge,
• 5:12
Speaker 4: like it's going to be it'll take a year to
• 5:14
Speaker 4: probably get this thing done, so it's going to cause
• 5:16
Speaker 4: some issues. I know they're going to do the very
• 5:18
Speaker 4: best they can at DOT to make those inconveniences as
• 5:21
Speaker 4: small as possible, but there's no doubt it's going to
• 5:23
Speaker 4: back up traffic on some days and people are going
• 5:25
Speaker 4: to have to, you know, improvise. But you know, so
• 5:28
Speaker 4: that's one where you're not building something new. When it's over,
• 5:31
Speaker 4: it's almost like if you put a new roof on
• 5:32
Speaker 4: your hash, like, oh great, I spent a bunch of
• 5:34
Speaker 4: money and it looks the same as it did before. Basically,
• 5:36
Speaker 4: but this is a really important project and the fact
• 5:39
Speaker 4: that they're actually going to commit to a long term
• 5:41
Speaker 4: repair of this bridge is really important. But it's also
• 5:43
Speaker 4: part of a bigger project than Kenall County and the
• 5:46
Speaker 4: Charleston metro area, which is really important to this area
• 5:49
Speaker 4: of the state, which is the fifty by five program.
• 5:52
Speaker 4: So within the next five years, the DOT is committed
• 5:55
Speaker 4: to repairing or upgrading fifty bridges in the Charleston metro area,
• 5:59
Speaker 4: the Forty Hill Bridge being the biggest one, but there's
• 6:02
Speaker 4: fifty bridges in total which will be repaired or upgraded.
• 6:05
Speaker 4: So this is this is a really important time as
• 6:08
Speaker 4: far as those types of projects going. I'm someone who,
• 6:10
  Speaker 4: as a delegate who've always said I don't think we
• 6:13
Speaker 4: can spend enough money infrastructure, Like I'm always in favor
• 6:15
Speaker 4: of spending as much as possible on road projects, water
• 6:19
Speaker 4: sewer or broadband. Like you know, I'm a big infrastructure guy.
• 6:22
Speaker 2: I want to make sure that people to use the
• 6:25
Speaker 2: overused cliches JB. People pack their patients because this is
• 6:30
Speaker 2: going to be a major project, as you said, They're
• 6:31
Speaker 2: going to start in the fall doing some you know,
• 6:34
Speaker 2: some work to get ready for it. Best case scenario
• 6:37
Speaker 2: about mid January of next year until mid December. I mean,
• 6:41
Speaker 2: it's going to be every day. I don't know if
• 6:44
Speaker 2: it's going to be seven days a week, it probably
• 6:45
Speaker 2: will or so it's going to be a major, as
• 6:49
Speaker 2: you said, a major inconvenience, but it's got to be done.
• 6:52
Speaker 2: I mean we all every so often there's these things
• 6:55
Speaker 2: that pop up, you know, as you said in twenty
• 6:56
Speaker 2: twenty five, they were doing some of the work on there.
• 7:00
Speaker 2: Major I mean potholes and so on. So and I mean,
• 7:03
Speaker 2: once you can I'm no engineer, but once you can
• 7:05
Speaker 2: see what's under the bridge, you got a problem.
• 7:08
  Speaker 4: Yeah, that's that's a little scary buddy. So I mean
• 7:11
Speaker 4: there have been several new stories in the past couple
• 7:12
Speaker 4: of years where that's happened, Like we've had some potholes
• 7:15
Speaker 4: in that bridge that had been so severe that you
• 7:16
Speaker 4: really have been able to see down into the river.
• 7:19
Speaker 4: So you know, this is one of those ones where
• 7:20
Speaker 4: some double edged so where people complaining, they're like, well
• 7:22
Speaker 4: this this bridge needs to be fixed, and we're like, well,
• 7:24
Speaker 4: we're finally going to do it. And it's gonna be
• 7:26
Speaker 4: a big time, you know, long term fix. But it's
• 7:28
Speaker 4: gonna be a big change. I mean, I think you know,
• 7:30
Speaker 4: there's gonna be a period of time when half the
• 7:32
Speaker 4: bridge is closed, like all the traffic is going to
• 7:34
Speaker 4: be on one side of the road. So that's gonna
• 7:35
Speaker 4: be a big change.
• 7:36
Speaker 2: For a while. Do you remember a few years ago,
• 7:38
Speaker 2: I want to have the Condour lanes here in Charleston. Yeah,
• 7:40
Speaker 2: remember remember what that was like? Now you've not pleasant, yea, well,
• 7:43
Speaker 2: but I mean look again, it has to be done.
• 7:46
Speaker 2: And this is the most traveled bridge in the state
• 7:49
Speaker 2: of West Virginians. You said, not just by West Virginians,
• 7:51
Speaker 2: I mean this is a major artery for interstate travel.
• 7:54
  Speaker 5: Yeah it is.
• 7:55
Speaker 4: So anyway, again, I applied the administration for doing this
• 7:57
Speaker 4: and Secretary of Runball for making this a priority. And
• 8:00
Speaker 4: I think while this one's going on, they're going to
• 8:01
Speaker 4: focus most of their Canall County of resources on this project.
• 8:04
Speaker 4: But again one emphasized the folks, this is part part
• 8:06
Speaker 4: of a broader fifty bridge project for this Charleston metro area.
• 8:10
Speaker 4: So there's a lot of resources they're gonna be dedicated
• 8:12
Speaker 4: to this area soon. And I'll tell you, like the
• 8:14
Speaker 4: the Kanall County delegation as a whole when it comes
• 8:17
Speaker 4: to infrastructure, all my colleagues and peers, they're good on
• 8:20
Speaker 4: infrastructure projects. I got to give them credit and say
• 8:23
Speaker 4: that they are always advocating for that. As a delegation.
• 8:27
Speaker 4: You know, we've got a few knuckleheads here and there
• 8:29
Speaker 4: in different parts of the state who will do things
• 8:32
Speaker 4: like vote against the budget and say we spend too
• 8:33
  Speaker 4: much money.
• 8:34
Speaker 5: Not you know there.
• 8:35
Speaker 4: I think there are places where we can definitely be
• 8:37
Speaker 4: more efficient. But when it comes to road and bridge
• 8:38
Speaker 4: projects again, I think we probably can't spend too much.
• 8:42
Speaker 4: Those are those are really important, you know, and I
• 8:45
Speaker 4: have a tendency, you know, to to agree with that and.
• 8:47
Speaker 2: Speaking out you said, knucklehead, it's not me, uh, speaking
• 8:52
Speaker 2: of of working together and things of that nature. You know,
• 8:54
Speaker 2: there have been several questions here as of late and
• 8:57
Speaker 2: with within the legislature in some delegates Republicans and Democrat
• 9:02
Speaker 2: calling for taking a look at the school aid formula again,
• 9:05
Speaker 2: and we don't seem to get anywhere on foster care
• 9:08
Speaker 2: and things of that nature. I know that you've been
• 9:10
Speaker 2: closely involved with a lot of these things.
• 9:12
  Speaker 6: Yeah.
• 9:12
Speaker 4: Well, on the foster care side, the committee that I
• 9:15
Speaker 4: share in the House, which is the House Judiciary Committee,
• 9:17
Speaker 4: that's a big area of focus for us, and it
• 9:20
Speaker 4: has been for a couple of years. WI I've shared
• 9:22
Speaker 4: that committee, and we had a couple big initiatives through
• 9:24
Speaker 4: that committee the past couple of years. So foster care
• 9:27
Speaker 4: is a priority of mind. That's something else I think,
• 9:29
Speaker 4: at least for now, we can't pay too much attention to.
• 9:32
Speaker 4: It's critical. And then you know, when you talk about
• 9:36
Speaker 4: some of the other issues that you brought up, was
• 9:39
Speaker 4: the other one you just said, apologize a foster care
• 9:41
Speaker 4: got that the school aid formula. That is to me,
• 9:44
Speaker 4: the school aid formula. Even before I was in the legislature.
• 9:47
Speaker 4: If I would ask someone to explain that, they can
• 9:49
Speaker 4: never explain it in less than thirty to sixty seconds.
• 9:52
Speaker 4: And even when they do, they you don't really understand
• 9:55
Speaker 4: what they told you. A lot of times, and even
• 9:57
Speaker 4: now as a delegate, that formula is still confusing. So
• 9:59
Speaker 4: to me me, I'm like, that thing needs a major overhaul.
• 10:02
Speaker 4: I mean, if you can't look at your constituents and
• 10:04
Speaker 4: tell them in less than a minute what that thing
• 10:06
Speaker 4: is and how it works, that's a problem. And I
• 10:08
Speaker 4: also think personally we should move to what we call
• 10:10
Speaker 4: a student based resource formula like a lot of other
• 10:14
Speaker 4: states use. I think that will be more effective the
• 10:17
Speaker 4: special education costs we all know our skyrocketing and so
• 10:22
Speaker 4: you know, there are different ways I think to attack
• 10:25
Speaker 4: that problem, and there's no one easy fix. But one
• 10:28
Speaker 4: of the things I have personally advocated for is and
• 10:31
Speaker 4: this won't solve it all, but I think this is
• 10:33
Speaker 4: something we have to do. Is I think we finally
• 10:35
Speaker 4: have to take this fifty five county boards of education
• 10:39
Speaker 4: issue had on and consolidate some of those and say
• 10:42
Speaker 4: we don't need fifty five county boards. And I'll get
• 10:45
Speaker 4: some resistance to that, oh yeah, and some pushback for sure.
• 10:47
Speaker 4: There are a lot of counties where the boards of
• 10:49
Speaker 4: education are the largest employers, and I get it that's
• 10:52
Speaker 4: going to be controversial.
• 10:53
Speaker 2: And big centers of power within the county correct.
• 10:57
Speaker 4: Oh, political power for sure, But you know what we're
• 11:00
Speaker 4: seeing now is repeatedly, how many times do we see
• 11:03
Speaker 4: counties where the state's having to step in and you know,
• 11:07
Speaker 4: take these county boards over. And so I think we
• 11:10
Speaker 4: just that's one of the ways we can be more efficient,
• 11:12
Speaker 4: and we should have done that in a while back.
• 11:14
Speaker 4: But again, there's a lot of people who don't want
• 11:15
Speaker 4: to vote for that because they go back home and
• 11:18
Speaker 4: it's going to cause them some heartburn and they go
• 11:20
Speaker 4: back to their home county. So but that's one of
• 11:22
Speaker 4: the things I have advocated for, and I had to
• 11:24
Speaker 4: build that less session, which was to consolidate the county
• 11:26
Speaker 4: boards and not do it immediately and haphazardly. I think
• 11:29
Speaker 4: I had a three year window in that in the
• 11:31
Speaker 4: bill that I proposed, which was let's take our time
• 11:33
Speaker 4: and study this and figure out what the best solution is.
• 11:36
Speaker 4: But I think having fifty five is just too many,
• 11:38
  Speaker 4: and that's that's not going.
• 11:39
Speaker 5: To solve at all.
• 11:40
Speaker 2: That would help some well, and I think I think
• 11:43
Speaker 2: you're right about that. And again, we're talking about a
• 11:45
Speaker 2: lot of the smaller counties, and we don't want to
• 11:47
Speaker 2: make it look like we're picking on our smaller counties,
• 11:49
Speaker 2: but it is what it is. I mean, do we
• 11:52
Speaker 2: and some some people have been said, do we even
• 11:53
Speaker 2: need fifty five counties.
• 11:56
Speaker 4: I'm not going to I'm not going to try to
• 11:57
Speaker 4: do that right now, Dave, I can do so much. Yeah,
• 12:00
Speaker 4: I mean maybe, I think, you know, because of our
• 12:03
Speaker 4: rural nature. There's a reason why we have fifty five
• 12:05
Speaker 4: counties back in the day, because transportation was difficult and
• 12:08
Speaker 4: it was hard to get from one county to another,
• 12:09
Speaker 4: and sometimes it still is. But you know, I think
• 12:12
Speaker 4: for now, at least the fifty five county boards, when
• 12:14
Speaker 4: you take a serious look at that and ask if
• 12:15
Speaker 4: we need that many personally, I don't think that we do.
• 12:17
Speaker 4: And I might and again I might just trying to
• 12:19
Speaker 4: pick on the small counties. If we have to divide
• 12:20
Speaker 4: up some of the larger counties, if that's what the
• 12:22
Speaker 4: fairest what they do it is, then that's something we
• 12:24
Speaker 4: can look at as well.
• 12:25
  Speaker 5: Well.
• 12:25
Speaker 2: And I know in some other states, Ohio is one,
• 12:27
Speaker 2: you have city school systems still do and you have
• 12:30
Speaker 2: county school systems, and so for example, you might have
• 12:34
Speaker 2: and I'm just this is not gonna happen. I'm just
• 12:36
Speaker 2: saying you could have the like the City of Charleston schools,
• 12:41
Speaker 2: but the county schools would be over let's say Riverside
• 12:44
Speaker 2: or something like that, just for an example.
• 12:46
Speaker 4: Yeah, that's the way some states do it. I don't
• 12:48
Speaker 4: know if that'd be the best model for West Virginia
• 12:49
Speaker 4: based upon our demographics, but yeah, difference states to do a

• 15:38
Speaker 2: on MS Now Yesterday it was pretty scary. They are
• 15:42
Speaker 2: way more than license plate readers, says a tankster. Texas
• 15:46
Speaker 2: State is failing that students, but even more specifically our
• 15:49
Speaker 2: special needs students. Total special education expenditures recently surpassed five
• 15:53
Speaker 2: hundred and eighty four million dollars in a single physical year.
• 15:56
Speaker 2: Because state and federal funding only covers a portion of
• 15:59
Speaker 2: these costs, local districts face statewide shortfalls well over one
• 16:02
Speaker 2: hundred and eighty million dollars annually. Despite having the nation's
• 16:06
Speaker 2: fifth highest rate of special ed students, West Virginia consistently
• 16:09
Speaker 2: ranks near the bottom of all states for special education
• 16:12
Speaker 2: funding them outs regardless if any funding formula state comes
• 16:15
Speaker 2: up with. Our residents need to financially support education with
• 16:18
Speaker 2: more local taxes. You get what you're paid for, says
• 16:21
Speaker 2: a tax sture. Us bringing a good friend now, Chuck
• 16:25
Speaker 2: McGill from Capitol Mark, Good morning, sir, Welcome to the show.
• 16:28
Speaker 5: Good morning, Dave, thank you for being here.
• 16:30
Speaker 2: Get a big event coming up Thursday night. Tell us
• 16:32
  Speaker 2: about it.
• 16:34
  Speaker 12: Yeah, it's a chase of Appalachia. It's a tapestyle dinner.
• 16:37
Speaker 12: But Dave, I've got to tell your listeners off the top,
• 16:40
Speaker 12: I just checked before I hopped on the call. We
• 16:43
Speaker 12: have one ticket left, one ticket. One hundred seats ninety
• 16:48
Speaker 12: nine have been taken. So if anyone out here gets
• 16:52
Speaker 12: pulled in by what I have to say, you're in
• 16:54
Speaker 12: a race with everybody else right.
• 16:55
Speaker 2: Now, and you're going to have to tell your significant
• 16:57
Speaker 2: other if you have one that I guess what, You're
• 16:59
Speaker 2: going to have to stay home.
• 17:01
Speaker 12: Yeah, you know, it's it's it's gonna be worth it
• 17:03
Speaker 12: because it is an incredible menu. It's so Chef Chef
• 17:08
Speaker 12: Chase Collier of A Bruisey, the executive Chef A Brusey,
• 17:11
Speaker 12: has put together the menu.
• 17:12
  Speaker 2: It's a ten.
• 17:13
Speaker 12: Course meal with you know, all Appalachian inspired, so it's
• 17:18
Speaker 12: really really neat concept. We have a really incredible menu
• 17:23
Speaker 12: that includes you know, oyster and pendoban hummus. There's a
• 17:26
Speaker 12: devil egg with red pepper, jelly and caviar, a salad
• 17:31
Speaker 12: and some other things that I'm I'm really excited to
• 17:33
Speaker 12: tell you some backstories on, but it's all. Chef Chase
• 17:36
Speaker 12: is from Wise County, Virginia. He can be obviously from
• 17:40
Speaker 12: Virginia in Tennessee, Kentucky and West Virginia within an hour. Uh,
• 17:44
Speaker 12: you know, raised on his you know, you know, family
• 17:47
Speaker 12: dinners and and you know, farm to table kind of
• 17:50
Speaker 12: food in the heart of Appalachia. So really deeply inspired
• 17:55
  Speaker 12: menu by him.
• 17:56
Speaker 2: What part of Appalachia does caviar come into in the.
• 18:01
  Speaker 12: Hey, it's a it's a scale finer dining version, I
• 18:05
Speaker 12: got it. So so yeah, we're going to elevate all of.
• 18:08
Speaker 2: Our app Well, we do like aquatic you know, we
• 18:10
Speaker 2: we like to to eat things from from the water
• 18:13
Speaker 2: here in West Virginia. Not exactly like you're eating crappy
• 18:16
Speaker 2: or whatever, but you know, hey, who knows pental bean
• 18:20
  Speaker 2: hummus chuck, Yeah.
• 18:22
  Speaker 12: It's it's it's gonna be have a ramp pesto and
• 18:25
Speaker 12: they have buttermilk crackers and baby vegetables. That's one he's
• 18:29
Speaker 12: really excited for. Chef Chase was raised on pento beans
• 18:32
Speaker 12: and cornbread, so we have a couple of different cornbread
• 18:35
Speaker 12: inspired parts of us. We have porn bread crutons that
• 18:39
Speaker 12: are going to be part of the summer. Porn Gaspacho
• 18:41
Speaker 12: was the first time Chef Chase has done a cold
• 18:44
Speaker 12: soup and he's really excited about that one. And of
• 18:46
Speaker 12: course the pinto beans and corn bread. That's just an
• 18:48
Speaker 12: apple ash of staple that when he was sitting down
• 18:51
Speaker 12: for his family dinners. That's that's something that he could
• 18:53
Speaker 12: always count on having.
• 18:54
Speaker 2: Well, So we just had a text to the show Chuck,
• 18:57
Speaker 2: and so did he just say pento bean hummus?
• 19:00
Speaker 12: I did say pentobin hummus, ramped testo, buttermilk, crackers, baby vegetables.
• 19:06
Speaker 12: And that's course. That's course number two of ten.
• 19:08
Speaker 2: Okay, Well, take us to a couple of the other
• 19:10
Speaker 2: menu items. They're a ten course meal. I mean, even
• 19:13
Speaker 2: by my standards, that's a lot of food.
• 19:15
Speaker 12: That's a lot of food, but you get to try
• 19:17
Speaker 12: a lot. So there's two that I really want to
• 19:19
Speaker 12: point out. Okay, there after course six, we're gonna we're
• 19:24
Speaker 12: working with Cafe Romeo for a poppas sorbet. Now, poppas
• 19:29
Speaker 12: are not all completely into season, but luckily Chef Chase
• 19:33
Speaker 12: had frozen about fifty pounds of pop off from last
• 19:36
Speaker 12: fall and contacted Cafe Romeo to put together the sorbet.
• 19:41
Speaker 12: Super excited about doing it, so that's going to be
• 19:44
Speaker 12: an interesting mid meal little treat. The other one that
• 19:51
Speaker 12: we're really excited for is the barbecue pork. Now, this
• 19:54
Speaker 12: is made with Iberico pork, which is important from Spain.
• 19:58
Speaker 12: This is like the best cut of meat you can
• 19:59
Speaker 12: poss get. And then where I like that, you know,
• 20:03
Speaker 12: you have an elevated version of Appalachia on. This is
• 20:07
Speaker 12: that that comes that's going to be served with apple
• 20:09
Speaker 12: butter and potato salad. Now, the apple butter is one
• 20:13
Speaker 12: of Chef Chase's grandmother's recipes and the potato salad is
• 20:17
Speaker 12: his other grandmother's recipe.
• 20:19
Speaker 2: Well, I think when you become a grandmother automatically, I
• 20:22
Speaker 2: think it's like the law or in the Bible or
• 20:23
Speaker 2: something that when you become a grandmother, you automatically start
• 20:27
  Speaker 2: making potato salad.
• 20:28
  Speaker 5: Yeah.
• 20:29
Speaker 12: Absolutely, So I'm really excited for that because it brings
• 20:31
Speaker 12: it brings that Iberico pork in but then combines two
• 20:35
Speaker 12: different grandmothers that we get to taste their their creation.
• 20:38
Speaker 12: So that's the one I'm I'm personally most excited for
• 20:41
Speaker 12: and I think is especially inspired by him in his roots.
• 20:43
Speaker 2: Can we refer to them as mammals though, and not grandma?
• 20:46
Speaker 2: You know, I mean because this is west.
• 20:47
Speaker 12: Rog Yeah, I'm not sure what his what his names
• 20:51
Speaker 12: were for his grandmother's but I mean you can do
• 20:53
  Speaker 12: whatever you want.
• 20:53
Speaker 2: Okay. Well, I know Wise County Virginia. I've been there
• 20:56
Speaker 2: many many times. It's not far from here, so I'd
• 20:58
Speaker 2: say there's a fair share of Mamma's and papballs down there.
• 21:02
Speaker 2: We had a text service says, okay, if we're going
• 21:04
Speaker 2: to Apple atche and especially for West Virginia, there's got
• 21:06
Speaker 2: to be Pepperoni roll inspired dishes in there.
• 21:09
Speaker 12: Somewhere there actually isn't. So I'll walk you through. There's
• 21:13
Speaker 12: a there's are. We start with a fresh oyster, them
• 21:15
Speaker 12: pentobean hummus, a tomato celebration, doubled egg, the sumbur cornus
• 21:20
Speaker 12: sponsor that I referenced, a summer peach salad that does
• 21:23
Speaker 12: include jqu Dickinson salt. Then the popaul survey, the barbecue port,
• 21:28
Speaker 12: a salmon cake with ramp aoli, so there's lots of
• 21:31
Speaker 12: ramp inspired. Chef Chase met with his whole team there
• 21:34
Speaker 12: at Rusy to kind of collect all these ideas, right,
• 21:37
Speaker 12: all these Apple Asian inspired themes. Then we'll end with
• 21:41
Speaker 12: a banana pudding and a buttermilk blueberry pie. And this
• 21:45
Speaker 12: is for both the ninety nine people who have purchased
• 21:48
Speaker 12: tickets and the one that's still lingering out there. Chef
• 21:51
Speaker 12: Chase has promised a take home gift after course number ten.
• 21:56
Speaker 12: He has not told me what this is. It is
• 21:59
Speaker 12: a surprise, but he's working on it and everybody will
• 22:01
Speaker 12: get to take something home with them too.
• 22:03
Speaker 2: Well, if you're having a ten course meal, I would
• 22:05
Speaker 2: suggest Malanta at that point, that might be a good
• 22:08
Speaker 2: take home good. With all due respect to to Chef Chase,
• 22:11
Speaker 2: he's fabulous, but I'm just saying that is a lot
• 22:13
Speaker 2: of But as you said, you're you know, we would
• 22:16
Speaker 2: just be sampling little bits and pieces of everything, sampling.
• 22:19
Speaker 12: Little bits and pieces. And we worked with Chef Chase
• 22:21
Speaker 12: before for a Feast of the Seven Fishes dinner in
• 22:24
Speaker 12: December and it really was like you got a nice
• 22:27
Speaker 12: sampling of everything across the board and didn't leave too full.
• 22:32
Speaker 12: But you know, we could have some to go boxes too.
• 22:33
Speaker 12: You know, nothing's going to go to waste.
• 22:35
Speaker 2: We're talking to Chuck McGill of Capital Market, a Dave
• 22:37
Speaker 2: Island Shilling five eighty line brought to you apart by
• 22:39
Speaker 2: Morgan and Morgan, America's largest injury law firm. We do
• 22:42
Speaker 2: want to make sure though that people. I mean when
• 22:45
Speaker 2: I was texting with you yesterday about this, I didn't know.
• 22:49
  Speaker 2: I mean I knew tickets were going quickly, I didn't
• 22:51
Speaker 2: know that they were that you'd sold ninety nine out
• 22:53
Speaker 2: of one hundred. So literally, folks, there is one ticket
• 22:56
Speaker 2: left out there. How do people get that one ticket?
• 22:59
Speaker 12: Yeah, just go to dot net and you can click
• 23:01
Speaker 12: on events and it'll be the top list of events.
• 23:03
Speaker 12: It's because it's our next event.
• 23:05
  Speaker 11: Uh.
• 23:05
Speaker 12: So Thursday night from six to eight at Capital Market.
• 23:08
Speaker 12: Outside looks like great weather and uh, it's going to
• 23:11
Speaker 12: be an incredible menu. So uh, these are the type
• 23:14
Speaker 12: of events we're going to continue building. And Hosikandice Nelson,
• 23:17
Speaker 12: our deputy executive director, has great ideas coming off with
• 23:21
Speaker 12: with some of these dinners. So kudos to her and
• 23:24
Speaker 12: our team. Uh and then Chef and Chef Chasing his
• 23:27
Speaker 12: team for putting this all together.
• 23:29
Speaker 2: I'm just wanting to for a review of the of
• 23:32
Speaker 2: the Pinto bean Hummas. I mean that's an interesting concept
• 23:36
  Speaker 2: to me.
• 23:37
Speaker 12: I'll go, I'll go live or something and directly address
• 23:40
  Speaker 12: you on Facebook.
• 23:41
Speaker 5: There you go, you know.
• 23:42
Speaker 12: So, so yeah, I'll give you a direct report on
• 23:45
Speaker 12: the pinto bean hummas. I'm pretty excited for it, all right.
• 23:47
Speaker 2: So we had a text here too, said, will there
• 23:48
Speaker 2: be a cookbook for sales specifically for this menu that
• 23:51
Speaker 2: anyone could buy? Oh, maybe the money could go to charity?
• 23:54
  Speaker 2: Says it ticks.
• 23:55
Speaker 12: Hey, that's a good idea. We're looking for all those
• 23:57
Speaker 12: ideas where you know, Capital Market is a five O
• 24:00
Speaker 12: one C three nonprofit. You know we're here to be
• 24:03
Speaker 12: good community partners. And you know we do have all
• 24:07
Speaker 12: the menus printed up, so you will have a menu
• 24:09
Speaker 12: at your seat with everything that's in each dish, so
• 24:12
Speaker 12: nothing's a secret. It won't just be the what you're eating,
• 24:16
Speaker 12: but everything that's contained within it. So you'll you can
• 24:19
Speaker 12: take those home too and see if you can replicate it.
• 24:21
Speaker 2: All right, Chuck McGill, Capital Market, Thursday night. There are
• 24:24
Speaker 2: only there is literally only one ticket left, folks, so
• 24:28
Speaker 2: you need to get it, probably in the next ten
• 24:29
Speaker 2: to fifteen minutes or so. I appreciate you being here,
• 24:32
Speaker 2: my friend. Good luck with everything. We'll talk soon, all right,
• 24:34
Speaker 2: thanks Dave. I one ticket left, folks, one twenty eight
• 24:38

Speaker 3: You may think speed a little isn't really speeding, but
• 28:01
Speaker 3: even a few miles over the limit has consequences. First,
• 28:05
Speaker 3: there's the fine. Your first offense could cost you one
• 28:08
Speaker 3: hundred dollars plus court costs, and you'll pay a lot
• 28:11
Speaker 3: more if it's your second or third offense. Eventually you

• 28:17
Speaker 3: those are minor consequences. Speeding causes ten thousand deaths each year.

• 30:24
Speaker 10: Could could I That was fun. That car show was fun.
• 30:30
Speaker 2: To be talking about that for a long time.
• 30:32
Speaker 10: Well, here here's the deal. There were twenty eight prizets
• 30:35
Speaker 10: given away. I haven't talked about this, have.
• 30:38
Speaker 2: A Yeah, we talked about last a couple of weeks,
• 30:40
Speaker 2: but that's okay, talk about it again.
• 30:42
Speaker 10: Well, there were twenty eight prizets given away, three of
• 30:46
Speaker 10: med Bunny, and one of them was they had the
• 30:51
Speaker 10: People's Choice Award from Outside of Leisure World.
• 30:55
Speaker 2: It's out in California by the way.
• 30:56
Speaker 10: Yeah, and then they had the people that lived in
• 30:59
Speaker 10: the thousand people live there.
• 31:01
Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like a small city, or actually it's the
• 31:03
Speaker 2: probably medium sized city.
• 31:04
Speaker 10: Yeah, and so unlike people that when you have a
• 31:12
Speaker 10: car show, they get those chairs which almost hit the
• 31:14
Speaker 10: ground and they sit in them and just relaxed. I
• 31:20
Speaker 10: stood in front of my car with my Vietnam shirt on,
• 31:24
Speaker 10: and there were a lot of Vietnam veterans, and everybody
• 31:27
Speaker 10: came by and wanted to take a picture with my car,
• 31:31
  Speaker 10: So I said, can I take I'll take a picture
• 31:33
Speaker 10: of you all with the car, and then I snap
• 31:36
Speaker 10: a picture of my information and I say do you
• 31:41
Speaker 10: all live here? And they say, yeah, we live here.
• 31:43
Speaker 10: I said, we're or are you going to vote in
• 31:45
Speaker 10: the in the People's Choice Awards? We didn't know you
• 31:49
Speaker 10: could vote. Oh yeah, you can vote right over there
• 31:51
Speaker 10: and I don't know if you've picked anybody or not,
• 31:54
Speaker 10: but just in case you haven't, I appreciate you considered me.
• 31:59
Speaker 10: Don't get political against me.
• 32:02
Speaker 2: Okay, this is this is basically the same spiel that
• 32:06
Speaker 2: you use when you ran for office.
• 32:07
  Speaker 12: Right.
• 32:09
Speaker 2: I don't know if you have a candidate yet, if
• 32:10
Speaker 2: you've chosen one, but if not, I would appreciate you.
• 32:13
Speaker 5: But that's right. But of course the car is beautiful.
• 32:17
Speaker 10: But I stood in front of it instead of behind it,
• 32:20
Speaker 10: and I didn't sit down. I stood up the whole time,
• 32:23
Speaker 10: and I worked it, and I worked the crap. So
• 32:25
Speaker 10: I got the People's Choice award and fifty bucks and
• 32:29
Speaker 10: a plaque, and there were a lot of nice cars there.
• 32:35
Speaker 10: If I had no one, I couldn't have felt bad.
• 32:38
Speaker 2: Now, tell for people that haven't been listening the last
• 32:40
Speaker 2: couple weeks, we've been talking about the Soga, this car,
• 32:42
Speaker 2: and this car. You want remind people what kind of
• 32:45
  Speaker 2: car it is?
• 32:45
Speaker 10: What year to nineteen fifty nine Cadillac Sadan Deville. It's
• 32:49
Speaker 10: a four door hardtop.
• 32:52
Speaker 2: And the door on that car is probably bigger than
• 32:55
Speaker 2: a lot of cars today. That's how they used to
• 32:57
Speaker 2: make cars. It's a fun car to drive kind of
• 33:00
  Speaker 2: engines again and.
• 33:01
Speaker 5: Oh, I don't know for ube again something like.
• 33:04
  Speaker 10: I pretty fast though I don't know. I drove it
• 33:08
Speaker 10: out there. It went okay. I mean it'll go seventy.
• 33:14
Speaker 5: Miles now, Okay, that's all you need to do. You know,
• 33:17
Speaker 5: I'll be seventy six next month. You're racing.
• 33:21
Speaker 2: Days are behind you.
• 33:23
  Speaker 5: I don't do that.
• 33:24
Speaker 10: But the nomad'sost to be finished by the end of
• 33:26
  Speaker 10: the that's what.
• 33:27
Speaker 2: You're telling me. Yeah, I'm excited about that, So go ahead.
• 33:31
Speaker 5: I'm looking forward that. Go ahead.
• 33:32
Speaker 2: I just want to ask you something about a couple
• 33:34
Speaker 2: of things in the news. I love to get your perspective.
• 33:36
Speaker 2: You've been following all this with the controversy over the
• 33:38
Speaker 2: flock cameras. Yeah, okay, I mean on Friday's midday show,
• 33:43
Speaker 2: I talked to Mayor Patrick Ferrell of Huntington and this
• 33:46
Speaker 2: is I mean, this has been going on, you know
• 33:48
Speaker 2: for some time various parts of the state of West
• 33:50
Speaker 2: Virginia and all over the country, people debating these flock cameras.
• 33:53
Speaker 2: And they had a city council meeting in Huntington last
• 33:57
Speaker 2: Monday night. I guess that went or maybe it wasn't
• 33:59
Speaker 2: Monday this one night this week went till four am
• 34:02
Speaker 2: the next morning. They started at six or seven with
• 34:04
Speaker 2: til four am the next morning. People protesting in the
• 34:07
Speaker 2: streets about it, and so on and so forth. Do
• 34:09
Speaker 2: you have an opinion on them?
• 34:11
Speaker 5: Well, I want to make sure I know what I'm
• 34:13
  Speaker 5: talking about. Yeah.
• 34:14
Speaker 10: Do these cameras take pictures of license plates and then
• 34:17
Speaker 10: send you a ticket?
• 34:18
  Speaker 5: Well?
• 34:18
Speaker 2: No, not no, not necessarily. But now there are different
• 34:23
Speaker 2: types of just like with anything else, Danny, you can
• 34:25
Speaker 2: order different packages off a city, you can give it,
• 34:28
Speaker 2: can do as much or as little as you want.
• 34:30
Speaker 2: What the mayor of Huntington was talking about that he
• 34:32
Speaker 2: was excited about it because it has things like gunshot
• 34:34
Speaker 2: detection on it. They're not using it to send you
• 34:39
Speaker 2: a ticket in the mail because you ran a stop sign,
• 34:41
Speaker 2: for example. That's not what it's being used for. It's
• 34:44
Speaker 2: being used for investigations and things of that nature.
• 34:47
Speaker 5: That's why would somebody be against that?
• 34:50
Speaker 2: Because the argument is is that it is a violation
• 34:53
Speaker 2: of It's almost it's like a Fourth Amendment violation. You
• 34:57
Speaker 2: know that it's not okay, and you say that's not why.
• 35:01
Speaker 10: No, because it's uh, we have cameras here in this town.
• 35:04
Speaker 10: Oh yeah, yeah, we have a camera in this town.
• 35:07
Speaker 10: Nobody knows they're just camera that can see a good
• 35:10
Speaker 10: part of the East End.
• 35:11
Speaker 2: Nobody knows that these are a little bit more uh canvas, yeah,
• 35:16
Speaker 2: for lack of a better term, I mean because they
• 35:18
Speaker 2: can see a whole lot more than just what your
• 35:19
Speaker 2: average camera you can see, depending on how they're programmed
• 35:22
Speaker 2: and like at Putnam County, I interviewed the sheriff of
• 35:24
Speaker 2: Putnam County on the show on Midday on Friday, and
• 35:27
Speaker 2: he said, they have them there, that they placed a
• 35:30
Speaker 2: big order for them, but they're just going to kind
• 35:31
Speaker 2: of wait to activate them once they when once they
• 35:35
Speaker 2: get more information about them, because I think there's sometimes
• 35:38
Speaker 2: it's there's things that even the people, well, the thing
• 35:41
Speaker 2: that I think is very interesting about this is how
• 35:43
Speaker 2: it seems to have gone beyond party lines because the
• 35:48
Speaker 2: people that voted for this and Huntington City Council, there
• 35:50
Speaker 2: were some Republicans and there were some Democrats that voted
• 35:53
Speaker 2: for it, and they're each the way. People that are
• 35:55
Speaker 2: against it, Danny all had the same argument. And it's
• 35:59
Speaker 2: like a big brother type thing watching everything.
• 36:03
Speaker 10: So what it's it's they do it in big cities.
• 36:08
Speaker 10: They do it. They do it everywhere. Use cameras and
• 36:14
Speaker 10: you can catch people. Private businesses use them.
• 36:17
Speaker 2: Yeah, but you have the argument is is that I
• 36:22
Speaker 2: would have the right to not patronize this private business
• 36:26
Speaker 2: if I didn't want to be recorded. Now, granted, every
• 36:29
Speaker 2: business you go into's got some kind of camera, I
• 36:31
Speaker 2: get that, But if I were somebody that were totally
• 36:33
Speaker 2: against that, I could not go into that business.
• 36:37
  Speaker 5: A guy rank, a guy robs a.
• 36:39
Speaker 10: Bank and he makes it down the street. The first
• 36:45
Speaker 10: thing that the city of Charleston does they go to
• 36:48
Speaker 10: see who's got cameras that focus out into the street
• 36:52
Speaker 10: right and they'll find a lot of private businesses and
• 36:55
Speaker 10: that's how they find the perp.
• 36:57
Speaker 2: Well, that's how That's what happened in the lately feel
• 36:59
Speaker 2: the shooting that took place near Ladley Field a few
• 37:03
Speaker 2: months ago was there was a particular business in the
• 37:05
Speaker 2: area that had the camera and it was was facing
• 37:08
Speaker 2: the street, and so that's one of the ways that
• 37:11
Speaker 2: they were able to track down the guy that was
• 37:14
Speaker 2: accused in like a matter of like thirty minutes or something.
• 37:17
  Speaker 5: I'm for it.
• 37:18
Speaker 10: I think it could I think they ought to Huntington
• 37:22
Speaker 10: on the hold this ground and we went to Blackstone
• 37:27
Speaker 10: and me and somebody else we went over to Virginia Beach.
• 37:32
Speaker 10: They have a camera system and they showed where there
• 37:36
Speaker 10: was a murder or beating or something in front of
• 37:40
Speaker 10: a nightclub over in Virginia Beach and they we watched
• 37:44
Speaker 10: it along the camera. I'm for it, all right, all.

• 38:08
Speaker 2: share a fondas for Bill Maher and I'm a couple
• 38:12
Speaker 2: of weeks late in this Danny, but I did catch
• 38:14
Speaker 2: Vice President jd Vance on Bill Maher. It was a
• 38:17
Speaker 2: good interview and one of my takeaways from that I
• 38:22
Speaker 2: give jd Vance and other Republicans credit because they'll go
• 38:26
Speaker 2: on his show and he talked about this. Most Democrats
• 38:30
Speaker 2: will not. They featured Bill Maher yesterday on the ABC
• 38:34
Speaker 2: nine o'clock show yesterday morning. Now, there are some exceptions.
• 38:36
Speaker 2: Gavin Newsom has gone on Fetterman has but as Bill says,
• 38:42
Speaker 2: the people of his own party, I'm Donnie Aoc, Chuck Schumer,
• 38:48
Speaker 2: even Kamala Harris would ever go on his show. No,
• 38:53
Speaker 2: they will, but jd Vance will. And Mike Pence was
• 38:56
Speaker 2: on a couple of weeks ago and he had dinner
• 38:58
Speaker 2: with the President in invited.
• 39:00
Speaker 10: Him Mike Pence. He was so funny.
• 39:04
  Speaker 5: He uh.
• 39:06
Speaker 10: To me he was the hero at January sixth, Mike Pence,
• 39:12
Speaker 10: he was saying, you know, mar has a podcast that
• 39:17
Speaker 10: he does from his I don't know, it's basement.
• 39:20
Speaker 5: Earthy, yeah, something like that.
• 39:21
Speaker 10: Yeah, but he's sitting there smoking grass. Yeah, and he's
• 39:28
Speaker 10: gonna get pent on the podcast.
• 39:30
Speaker 5: He's going to try to.
• 39:31
Speaker 2: Get Pence said he would do it, but no, he's
• 39:34
Speaker 2: not going to smoke.
• 39:35
Speaker 5: He was not going to smoke any weed.
• 39:36
Speaker 2: No, no, And jd Vance also said he would come
• 39:39
Speaker 2: down to do it, but he said, I'm also not
• 39:40
Speaker 2: going to smoke any weed.
• 39:41
  Speaker 5: Yeah.
• 39:42
Speaker 2: And one of the funny things about it was I
• 39:44
Speaker 2: guess They asked JD. Vance if he saw Mike Pence's
• 39:47
Speaker 2: appearance on Bill Maher, and JD said, well, I bet
• 39:49
Speaker 2: that was really sex, drugs and rock and roll, wasn't it.
• 39:52
Speaker 2: I mean, Vance to me comes across and I know
• 39:54
Speaker 2: there are a lot of people that don't like him,
• 39:56
Speaker 2: and I'm not necessarily a fan of some of his
• 39:58
Speaker 2: politics either, but I will say this, he comes across
• 40:01
Speaker 2: as what's the word I'm looking for? Normal. He comes
• 40:04
Speaker 2: across in an era that we had two consecutive presidents
• 40:08
Speaker 2: that sometimes struggle with putting together a sentence in Biden
• 40:12
Speaker 2: and Trump, Vance just comes across as being normal.
• 40:18
Speaker 10: I'm not a fan of the administration, but he's got
• 40:21
Speaker 10: some people on there that I really like. One of
• 40:24
Speaker 10: Bergham Secretary Oftarier, the Scott Bessett, gave a speech while
• 40:33
Speaker 10: America slept at the Reagan Library. It's on YouTube. You
• 40:38
Speaker 10: need to see that. I mean, that guy's a winner,
• 40:42
Speaker 10: and my favorite is Ruby.
• 40:43
  Speaker 12: Well.
• 40:43
Speaker 2: I was going to say. One of the things that
• 40:45
Speaker 2: mar brought up was he feels that the Republican nominee
• 40:49
Speaker 2: is either going to be JD. Vance or Marco Ribio.
• 40:52
Speaker 2: And if you guys are going to have to have
• 40:54
Speaker 2: to fight it out among yourselves on that, I mean
• 40:56
Speaker 2: I would right now as we sit here right now,
• 41:00
Speaker 2: I would probably give the edge to JD. Vans in
• 41:03
Speaker 2: our publican nomination right now.
• 41:05
Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, I think it's unfortunately myself.
• 41:08
Speaker 2: Why didn't Rubio when he ran for president before? Why
• 41:11
Speaker 2: didn't his message resonate? Was there just too many other
• 41:14
  Speaker 2: people out there?
• 41:15

Speaker 2: to see police all day walking from block to block,

Speaker 2: So we don't need cameras.
• 46:31
Speaker 10: Wrong, because of the cost of the cops cost a

Speaker 2: a perpetual scowl, and he obviously bungled the talks with
• 47:55
Speaker 2: Iranian leaders. He would go down in flames in a

Speaker 2: presidential election. Number One, he was in the Marine Corps,
• 48:01
Speaker 2: wasn't he. I think he was in the military. I know,

Speaker 10: Danny, Yeah, to get that off the internet.
• 48:23
Speaker 2: Well, I'm assuming they did.
• 48:24
Speaker 10: I mean, the reason these guys are are that iron
• 48:30
Speaker 10: has a price on their head. It's because they put
• 48:32
Speaker 10: together the package that that killed Sulamani. They did it
• 48:36
Speaker 10: for Trump and for the country. They deserve to be
• 48:39
Speaker 10: protected by Trump and by the country. It doesn't matter
• 48:43
Speaker 10: what their net worth is.
• 48:46
Speaker 2: Texas, bring back the metal spikes. Those were helpful. We
• 48:51
Speaker 2: had some strange texts today, what metal I guess that
• 48:55
Speaker 2: was the metal spikes have never gone anywhere. They're still
• 48:57
Speaker 2: They're still out there. I guess well.
• 48:58
Speaker 10: I had some loafer rails in the before they redid
• 49:05
Speaker 10: the park over there, because the people were sitting in
• 49:09
Speaker 10: the you had to walk to the mall, and women
• 49:12
Speaker 10: walk to the mall and there were narrow passages there
• 49:15
Speaker 10: and guys would just say awful things to them and
• 49:19
Speaker 10: intimidate them. Su put these loaf of rails on the
• 49:24
Speaker 10: concrete and they so they couldn't sit there.
• 49:28
Speaker 2: Have you followed any of what they have done. This
• 49:31
Speaker 2: big debate up in the city of Morgantown right now.
• 49:34
Speaker 2: They're trying to There are certain members members of the
• 49:37
Speaker 2: city Council in Morgantown, Danny, that are trying to outlaw
• 49:41
Speaker 2: what they call hostile benches, meaning benches they have specifically
• 49:47
Speaker 2: put benches in town that you cannot sleep on. Are
• 49:50
Speaker 2: in certain not not all the benches, but some of
• 49:52
Speaker 2: them to keep to keep the homeless or whoever from
• 49:55
Speaker 2: sleeping on it. There's some move within Morgantown City Council
• 49:59
Speaker 2: to to do away with almost say making it legal,
• 50:02
Speaker 2: but to do away with all of those things to
• 50:04
Speaker 2: keep the homeless from sleeping on them. Under people are
• 50:07
Speaker 2: up in arms over and see.
• 50:08
Speaker 10: I thought Mandami was the mayor in New York, So.
• 50:12
Speaker 2: I'm gonna take it. If you were still mayor, that's
• 50:14
Speaker 2: not something that you would support.
• 50:16
Speaker 5: I would support it.
• 50:17
Speaker 2: No, No, I mean doing away with them. You have
• 50:20
  Speaker 2: a problem.
• 50:21
Speaker 10: No, but I don't understand their benches are you can
• 50:26
Speaker 10: you sit on them during the day, You.
• 50:27
Speaker 2: Can sit, but they're not conducive to laying on. That's
• 50:30
Speaker 2: the point is that there may be like a rail
• 50:33
Speaker 2: in between, like if it's if it's a two seater
• 50:35
Speaker 2: so to speak, that there might be a rail in between.
• 50:39
Speaker 10: Yeah, you could also have benches with armrest.
• 50:43
Speaker 2: With me, That's kind of what I'm saying.
• 50:45
  Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, now I'm I'm for There's another one. A
• 50:53
Speaker 10: socialist is going to get nominated in Michigan. Yes, I
• 50:57
Speaker 10: saw that, and Mike Mike Rogers could win that seat.
• 51:01
Speaker 10: Republicans aren't going to have a good year. I'm more
• 51:04
Speaker 10: confident now that Susan Collins will be re elected.

• 51:11

• 51:15
Speaker 2: going to be a bloodbath and it ain't going to
• 51:17
Speaker 2: end up well for the Republicans.
• 51:18
  Speaker 10: I don't think it's going to be a blood bath.
• 51:20
Speaker 10: I think the Republicans are going to lose. I think
• 51:22
Speaker 10: they're going to come out on the bottom end.
• 51:24
  Speaker 5: Oh.
