Speaker 1: This bright white light, almost like if you're in a dense fog and the fog rolls in, but there's a spotlight in the fog, so it's that you're surrounded and immersed in this white light.
• 0:11
Speaker 1: So the brightest, whitest light, that sort of starts to come forward and as I'm turning around in this light, there is an outline of angels in this bright white light.
• 0:25
Speaker 1: There is an outline of angels in this bright white light.
• 0:26
Speaker 1: But I'm completely aware of the fact that I don't believe in angels, but I'm seeing angels and I think that these experiences, if I had believed in that, I would just have said oh, it's a hallucination.
• 0:39
Speaker 1: My mind made it up because it's my belief system, but I did not have any belief system to support what it was that I was experiencing.
• 0:48
Speaker 1: So there's an outline of angels in the light and the music is coming from the angels, but the bright white light, that is like being with source, you know, or God, or whatever you want to call it, but that is what we come from.
• 1:03
Speaker 1: We are part of that.
• 1:04
Speaker 1: We are part of Source.
• 1:06
Speaker 1: We come from Source.
• 1:07
Speaker 1: We carry this light within us.
• 1:09
Speaker 1: We are all part of this magnificent, incredible, divine Source.
• 1:15
Speaker 1: Right, but when we are in our bodies, we have the feeling that we are separate, which is just really an illusion.
• 1:23
Speaker 1: It's an illusion that we are separate when we're in our bodies because we're here to have this earthly experience in these little body suits.
• 1:32

• 2:09
Speaker 2: I'm your host, jean Collins, and today's guest is Dr Lottie Valentine.
• 2:13
Speaker 2: Oh, my goodness, everybody, I am so excited to speak to her.
• 2:17
Speaker 2: First of all, she went back to school to become an MD.
• 2:20
Speaker 2: Later in life, after menopause, wrote a book about it, which is also really impressive, and she's a medium oh my, we're going to talk about tapping into your spiritual guides being a medium healing.
• 2:36
Speaker 2: There are so many subjects that we can talk about, so I am so excited.
• 2:38
Speaker 2: She's a psychic medium, a medicinal medium I'm actually going to read some of it, so I don't get any of it wrong An ancestral healer, international keynote speaker.
• 2:44
Speaker 2: She is an author.
• 2:44
Speaker 2: She also has a podcast and let me tell you she's not stopping.
• 2:48
Speaker 2: This woman has got it all going on.
• 2:50
Speaker 2: So, dr Laudy, thank you for joining the show and I'm so excited to talk to you.
• 2:54
Speaker 1: Well, thank you so much for having me.
• 2:56
Speaker 1: Oh, I appreciate it.
• 2:58
Speaker 2: So I want to get started, before we get into mediums and how you channel and your book and your journey, and I want to say I think I read you had two near-death experiences, if I got that correct.
• 3:10
  Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a lot.
• 3:12
Speaker 2: So let's just first, at a high level, let's give everybody a little bit of background about you and how you got to where you are today.
• 3:21
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 3:21
Speaker 1: So when I was young I went to Well, actually, I grew up in Europe and then I married when I was 21,.
• 3:28
Speaker 1: I married an American, moved to the United States and then ended up transferring into Boston University from Stockholm University and I majored in computer science and management and then I worked for IBM as a programmer and systems analyst and then I started having kids.
• 3:45
Speaker 1: So I started having kids and I said, all right, this is a once in a lifetime chance to stay home.
• 3:51
Speaker 1: So I opted to take a leave and stay home with my kids.
• 3:54
Speaker 1: So I had one boy, then I had another boy and then I was pregnant with my third.
• 3:59
Speaker 1: So this was in 1992.
• 4:02
Speaker 1: And after I gave birth, well, first of all, I gave birth in the middle of a earthquake, so we had a 7.4 earthquake and my labor actually stopped and everybody was hanging over me on the labor table.
• 4:15
Speaker 1: I would literally have levitated off the table if they hadn't held me down.
• 4:20
Speaker 1: And we lost all the power in the hospital.
• 4:23
Speaker 1: All those little instruments on the metal trays in the hospital were levitating up and down and we lost all the power in the hospital.
• 4:25
Speaker 1: All those little instruments on the metal trays in the hospital were levitating up and down.
• 4:28
Speaker 1: And it was one of those moments in my life when I thought, oh my gosh, this is it.
• 4:33
Speaker 1: We're all going to die and the windows are going to fall in where the ceiling tiles are going to fall in, we're going to be buried in rubble.
• 4:40
Speaker 1: Never thought my life was going to end this way.
• 4:43
Speaker 1: Well, the earthquake kept rolling right.
• 4:46
Speaker 1: The hospital was built on rollers.
• 4:47
Speaker 1: This was in California, in the eastern part of Anaheim for those of you who know where Disneyland is and there wasn't much destruction.
• 4:55
Speaker 1: It was a landersquake because it was centered in the desert, but we were literally the first building bordering the desert and it was built on rollers.
• 5:03
Speaker 1: So it really rolled and we lost all the power.
• 5:06
Speaker 1: All the generators kicked in.
• 5:07
Speaker 1: Then my labor actually stopped.
• 5:09
Speaker 1: It picked back up and I gave birth and then we had a 7.2 earthquake and then I finally got to hold the baby and it was a girl.
• 5:17
Speaker 1: And I had two boys that were six and three and a half, and they gave me the baby.
• 5:22
Speaker 1: And now I'm in excruciating pain.
• 5:24
Speaker 1: So I'm screaming to my husband take the baby, take the baby, because I couldn't even hold her and it was the first time I hemorrhaged, so huge mountain of blood comes out and they put me on IV drip and all these different things.
• 5:37
Speaker 1: I mean, the whole hospital was running on generators, right, we had the light of a nightlight in this birthing unit.
• 5:44
Speaker 1: So after an extra day in the hospital they said okay, we're going to send you on your way.
• 5:49
Speaker 1: Well then, about 10 days later I hemorrhaged a huge blood clot and we went to the ER and they did a manual inspection and they said everything is okay, go home.
• 6:01
Speaker 1: Could have been a second lining.
• 6:02
Speaker 1: Same thing happened again the next day and then the following day we went to the doctor.
• 6:08
Speaker 1: It was decided to go to the doctor in Huntington Beach, california, where we lived at the time and again a manual inspection no blood work, no investigation whatsoever into what could have caused this.
• 6:20
Speaker 1: Got sent on my way, hemorrhaged.
• 6:23
Speaker 1: Again that afternoon I went back to the ER.
• 6:25
Speaker 1: So now you know I've hemorrhaged several days in a row, so I'm starting to really lose blood.
• 6:30
Speaker 1: Get back in the ER again, manual inspection, and they say, oh, it's not that much bleeding going on right now.
• 6:37
Speaker 1: Could have been a second lining.
• 6:38
Speaker 1: They closed the door, leave me on the table and then I finally start bleeding.
• 6:43
Speaker 1: So I'm thinking I'm 34 at the time, thinking this is 1992.
• 6:47
Speaker 1: Wow, I'm finally bleeding.
• 6:49
Speaker 1: They're going to figure out what's wrong with me.
• 6:51
Speaker 1: And this is a divine interference part, because this nurse came to check on me at this time.
• 6:59
Speaker 1: I mean, had she come two or three minutes later, I might not be here today because it came down to seconds.
• 7:05
Speaker 1: So she opens the door and she sees how much I've been bleeding and I can hear the call on the loudspeaker OBGYN stat to the ER and I'm thinking, okay, they finally figured out something is wrong.
• 7:17
Speaker 1: So this middle-aged physician comes running in.
• 7:20
Speaker 1: Right, you're so innocent too when you're, you know, in your early thirties and this guy?
• 7:26
Speaker 1: So he examines me again and as they are examining me, another big blood clot comes out and I try to sit up and tell this doctor I don't feel too good, but he knew at this point, you know, he understood how much I had been bleeding, so he just pushed me down on the table.
• 7:41
Speaker 1: I can hear the room filling with people.
• 7:46
Speaker 1: I can't keep my eyes open anymore and I just feel like I'm falling, like I jumped out of an airplane without a parachute.
• 7:50
Speaker 1: It's just sensational falling, which is probably also due to my blood pressure is crashing.
• 7:55
Speaker 1: So I got a nurse on my right I can't see them, but I can feel them and I hear them and she's measuring my blood pressure.
• 8:02
Speaker 1: She's got a blood pressure cuff on my right arm them and she's measuring my blood pressure.
• 8:06
Speaker 1: She's got a blood pressure cuff on my right arm and I got a nurse on my left that's trying to place an IV and this nurse on the right yells out 50 over 15, hurry.
• 8:13
Speaker 1: And that's my blood pressure right.
• 8:15
Speaker 1: So now, like around 60 over 20, it doesn't support a heartbeat anymore and it's still crashing.
• 8:20
Speaker 1: I just feel like I'm falling and I'm thinking what's taking this nurse so long?
• 8:25
Speaker 1: Why is this so slow?
• 8:27
Speaker 1: getting this IV in.
• 8:28
Speaker 1: But now I know, right After going to med school, like your blood vessels collapse.
• 8:32
Speaker 1: So you hear stories.
• 8:34
Speaker 1: People go to the ER and they're like I don't need an IV.
• 8:37
Speaker 1: But they're going to place an IV.
• 8:39
Speaker 1: But that's just precaution because they want to make sure they have access to your vein.
• 8:43
Speaker 1: So if you ever end up in the ER and they say we want to place an IV with, just you know, body water or saline solution, you go.
• 8:49
Speaker 1: That's fine, because if something happens to you they can just inject the medication now, because once you go into shock your veins start collapsing and it's really hard to get into the veins.
• 8:59
Speaker 1: So they were struggling to get this little needle in.
• 9:02
Speaker 1: And as I'm lying on this table shortly after this nurse yells out 50 over 15, hurry, I knew I was dying, which was very different from that experience when I was giving birth and the earthquake happened when I thought I was going to die.
• 9:18
Speaker 1: And a lot of us have had that feeling, thinking oh my gosh, this is it.
• 9:22
Speaker 1: I'm in a car accident and you just see your life flash before your eyes.
• 9:26
Speaker 1: But this was very different.
• 9:29
Speaker 1: I was completely aware of the fact that I was dying at that point and I was a complete atheist.
• 9:36
Speaker 1: So I was born and raised in Sweden and back in the day, during the 60s, when I was raised, there was no separation of state and church.
• 9:43
Speaker 1: So if you were born in Sweden, you were a Lutheran and if you didn't want to be a Lutheran you had to tell someone.
• 9:48
Speaker 1: We went to the church to get our passport.
• 9:50
Speaker 2: Okay, it's very different back then.
• 9:53
Speaker 1: So then you know, you get confirmed when you're 14.
• 9:56
Speaker 1: And I didn't believe in any of that.
• 9:58
Speaker 1: I was like there is no afterlife, there is no God, there is no Jesus, there is no spirit world.
• 10:03
Speaker 1: There is no God, there is no Jesus, there is no spirit world, there is no angels.
• 10:07
Speaker 1: I didn't believe in any of it, complete atheist.
• 10:09
Speaker 1: So here I am, dying on this table in the ER.
• 10:10
Speaker 1: So what do I do?
• 10:11
Speaker 1: I said to myself.
• 10:12
Speaker 1: Well, if any of that was true that they taught me you know, then please, you know, help me out.
• 10:18
Speaker 1: So I prayed to God to save my life.
• 10:20
Speaker 1: I say, you know, it's our God out there.
• 10:22
  Speaker 1: Please save me.
• 10:23
Speaker 1: I have three children under the age of six.
• 10:26
Speaker 1: They need a mother.
• 10:27
Speaker 1: As soon as I said that, I got pulled out of my body.
• 10:30
Speaker 1: So now I'm on the other side.
• 10:33
Speaker 1: But the interesting part of this is that you leave your body.
• 10:37
  Speaker 1: You're still there.
• 10:39
Speaker 1: You are still you.
• 10:41
Speaker 1: Exactly the way you feel right now, the way I feel in my body, the way I think of this, is me.
• 10:46
  Speaker 1: I'm Dr Lottie.
• 10:47
Speaker 1: This is who I am.
• 10:48
Speaker 1: I am the same person when I jump out of my body.
• 11:40
Speaker 1: If you drive to the grocery store in your car.
• 11:42
Speaker 1: It's not like you're one person inside the car and then you get out of your car to go to the grocery store.
• 11:47
  Speaker 1: You're somebody else.
• 11:47
Speaker 1: No, you're still the same person.
• 11:49
Speaker 1: You just stepped out of your car.
• 11:50
Speaker 1: It's the same thing with your body.
• 11:52
Speaker 1: You step outside your body, you're still you.
• 11:54
Speaker 1: You're just outside your body now.
• 11:57
Speaker 1: So in this state though, there is no time.
• 12:00
Speaker 1: So I had this awareness that there was no past, present and future.
• 12:05
Speaker 1: You had access to all the times simultaneously.
• 12:08
Speaker 1: And then there is the unconditional peace and love.
• 12:11
Speaker 1: And I didn't get to stay in this state at least I have no other memories of it and I got sucked back into my body.
• 12:17
Speaker 1: But the interesting part is so now I'm in the hospital the next day, I'm waking up and I'm still trying to figure out what happened, and this nurse comes in.
• 12:27
Speaker 1: They send me this Norwegian nurse, because I'm Swedish, thinking that she's really going to bond with me, and she says did you have any unusual experiences in the ER yesterday?
• 12:40
Speaker 1: And all I can think is, if I tell her what I experienced, they're going to lock me up in the psych ward.
• 12:46
  Speaker 1: This is 1992.
• 12:48
Speaker 1: And I didn't have any knowledge of what's called a near-death experience when you leave your body, go to the other side and come back so I just thought I can't tell her anything.
• 12:57
Speaker 1: So I just said, oh no, no, nothing unusual happened.
• 13:01
Speaker 1: And meanwhile that morning I can hear my sister-in-law, who passed away two weeks earlier, and she's in the left corner of my ceiling in the hospital room and I can hear her and she says everything's going to be okay.
• 13:15
Speaker 1: And I'm like how can I now hear my sister-in-law?
• 13:19
Speaker 1: Yesterday I thought I left my body like what's going on, right?
• 13:23
Speaker 1: Yes, and it's more real than I'm going to say.
• 13:27
Speaker 1: It's more real in some ways than the experience we have when we are in our bodies, so anyway.
• 13:35
Speaker 1: So then they sent me home and then I get really sick and I have this thing called bone marrow suppression.
• 13:40
Speaker 1: And one thing led to another and we all got pneumonia that Christmas and my husband had been laid off, his company had been bought and he was like a regional manager at the time.
• 13:49
Speaker 1: We're in our early 30s, so he was just kind of finding you know, what job can I get?
• 13:54
Speaker 1: That's going to support my family.
• 13:55
Speaker 1: I need a job now, kind of thing.
• 13:57
Speaker 1: So that whole year we didn't have any medical insurance.
• 14:00
Speaker 1: Of course it's like part of this incarnation, right.
• 14:04
Speaker 1: So we were just jumping, you know, when we were sick we'd go to the walk-in clinic and we all got.
• 14:10
Speaker 1: You know, we all had pneumonia at Christmas.
• 14:12
Speaker 1: This is six months later.
• 14:13
Speaker 1: My daughter was born at the end of June.
• 14:15
  Speaker 1: It's not Christmas.
• 14:16
Speaker 1: I have barely even left the house in six months because I can barely walk without passing out or standing up because I have so little blood in my body.
• 14:24
Speaker 1: And so we go to the walk-in clinic.
• 14:27
Speaker 1: Everybody gets better, we all get antibiotics, except for me.
• 14:32
Speaker 1: I go back, you know, eight days later and they say, weren't you just here?
• 14:34
Speaker 1: And I said yeah, and they said okay, we're going to take your blood.
• 14:37
Speaker 1: They come back in the room and they say you have no immune system whatsoever.
• 14:42
Speaker 1: Do you have AIDS or leukemia?
• 14:44
Speaker 1: And I said, well, I hope neither.
• 14:46
Speaker 1: And they're like you have to go to the ER right now, like you can die if you don't go to the ER.
• 14:51
  Speaker 1: It's a really bad situation.
• 14:52
Speaker 1: And I said I'm not going to the ER and we're about to get insurance, or we thought so.
• 14:58
Speaker 1: But then he took another job and then another job because the salary was better and the job was better.
• 15:02
Speaker 1: So we ended up that whole year.
• 15:04
Speaker 1: We got insurance the following year.
• 15:05
Speaker 1: It took one year.
• 15:07
Speaker 1: So anyway, making a long story short, it took me several years to get out of this bone marrow suppression where something goes wrong.
• 15:17
Speaker 1: The best guess we have is that it was something called idiopathic aplastic anemia and that can happen to somebody who's pregnant and doesn't have any complications, and it just comes out of nowhere, kind of, and it sort of shuts down your immune system and your bone marrow comes out of nowhere, kind of, and it sort of shuts down your immune system and your bone marrow.
• 15:35
Speaker 1: So after several years of this, it took me six years before I could really go through a grocery store or go to Costco without having to sit down and put my head between my legs when I walked halfway through the store Wow, because I would be so faint because I had too little blood in my body.
• 15:48
Speaker 1: So as I'm struggling to heal right.
• 15:50
Speaker 1: So I'm two years out from the first near-death experience and I would bruise.
• 15:56
Speaker 1: If I put my knee on the floor to help my kids tie their shoes, I would get a bruise on my knee.
• 16:01
Speaker 1: So any kind of pressure on my skin would create bruises because the platelets were so low.
• 16:06
Speaker 1: So this is just my normal existence at this point.
• 16:11
Speaker 1: So this is when my second near-death experience happens and people that I have worked with that have read my astrological chart.
• 16:17
Speaker 1: They say, well, it actually looks like you had several more near-death experiences, but you don't remember, have no memories.
• 16:24
Speaker 1: All I can say is they're not supposed to have that memory.
• 16:27
Speaker 1: But I was supposed to have the memory because it activated my life path, and this second experience has literally activated my life path and has to do with what I'm working with today.
• 16:47
Speaker 1: So the second experience again I wake up in the middle of the night.
• 16:52
Speaker 1: My head is pounding.
• 16:53
Speaker 1: This has been my life now for two years.
• 16:55
Speaker 1: Take my head off the pillow, but again I just get pulled out of my body and I always joke that they saved me too quickly in the ER the first time so I didn't get the full effect, or maybe they just wanted me to think about it for two years and then get the full effect.
• 17:10
Speaker 1: I mean, I'm sure there's a big plan behind all of it, because when you look in somebody's astrological chart, I've been told that all this is part of your chart, even that it took me 10 years to get well, and they said you got well when you were around 44, didn't you?
• 17:26
Speaker 1: I said yeah, and they say yeah, I can see it in your chart because that's when things are shifting.
• 17:31
Speaker 1: So it's really fascinating what that astrological chart can tell us and how we kind of that's kind of our movie script of the life, of the lessons.
• 17:41
Speaker 1: So the second experience happened in the middle of the night.
• 17:44
Speaker 1: I get pulled out of my body and it's more like flying through space, like Star Wars.
• 17:49
Speaker 1: I'm just tumbling through space and I get to this place that I call the mid station, because there was this awareness that you could go higher or lower, just like if you go into a skyscraper and there's a hundred floors and you push the elevator button on the 50th floor, you get off on the 50th floor, you have awareness that there are another 50 floors above you and another 49 below you, but you don't know what's on those floors.
• 18:18
Speaker 1: You know what the floor is that you're on and there was that kind of a feeling that you could go higher or lower.
• 18:24
Speaker 1: But when I get to this place, I hear the most beautiful music, music that you cannot make on the earth plane, and I spent a good week trying to recreate the sound.
• 18:36
Speaker 1: We had this Roland synthesizer, you know, like the top of the line at the time, with probably 200 sounds.
• 18:42
Speaker 1: There was not one sound that was as beautiful or unique as the sound that I heard.
• 18:51
Speaker 1: So here I am, I'm hearing this most beautiful music, and I looked to my right and I see a little log cabin.
• 18:57
Speaker 1: It literally looks like a Swedish sauna log cabin and I always laugh about the things we see.
• 19:04
Speaker 1: And is that things that are comfortable to us, that they show us, you know.
• 19:08
Speaker 1: So I look at this little cabin and I'm thinking the music must be coming from this cabin.
• 19:14
Speaker 1: So I open the door, look inside it's empty.
• 19:17
Speaker 1: So I look to my left.
• 19:18
Speaker 1: There is a mirror image of the cabin on the right.
• 19:21
Speaker 1: So I look inside, but it's empty.
• 19:24
Speaker 1: But then it's like this bright white light, almost like if you're in a dense fog and the fog rolls in, but there's a spotlight in the fog.
• 19:33
Speaker 1: So it's that you're surrounded and immersed in this white light.
• 19:37
Speaker 1: So the brightest, whitest light, that sort of, starts to come forward.
• 19:43
Speaker 1: And as I'm turning around in this light, there is an outline of angels in this bright white light.
• 19:50
Speaker 1: But I'm completely aware of the fact that I don't believe in angels, but I'm seeing angels and I think that these experiences, if I had believed in that, I would just have said, oh, it's a hallucination.
• 20:05
Speaker 1: My mind made it up because it's my belief system, but I did not have any belief system to support what it was that I was experiencing.
• 20:13
Speaker 1: So there's an outline of angels in the light and the music is coming from the angels.
• 20:19
Speaker 1: But the bright white light that is like being with source, you know, or God, or whatever you want to call it, but that is what we come from.
• 20:29
Speaker 1: We are part of that.
• 20:31
Speaker 1: We are part of source.
• 20:32
Speaker 1: We come from source.
• 20:33
Speaker 1: We carry this light within us.
• 20:36
Speaker 1: We are all part of this magnificent, incredible divine source.
• 20:42
Speaker 1: Right, but when we are in our bodies, we have the feeling that we are separate, which is just really an illusion.
• 20:50
Speaker 1: It's an illusion that we are separate when we're in our bodies because we're here to have this earthly experience in these little body suits, right.
• 20:59
Speaker 2: So it really is a body suit.
• 21:02
Speaker 1: So then I become aware of two spirit guides.
• 21:05
Speaker 1: There's one kind of on my right and one diagonally to the left, in front of me, and the one on the right says to the other one what is she doing here?
• 21:13
Speaker 1: She can't be here, she has to go back.
• 21:14
Speaker 1: And I'm like no, no, no, wait a second.
• 21:17
Speaker 1: I spent over two years thinking about this.
• 21:20
Speaker 1: Now, how can I be outside my body and still be me?
• 21:23
Speaker 1: How does this work?
• 21:24
Speaker 1: Right, I'm still struggling, trying to put the pieces together, and the spirit guide on my left says well, if I told you, you wouldn't remember, but you will remember this.
• 21:34
Speaker 1: So and I've heard that from other people now, as near-death experiences are becoming more, people are aware of them and how there is some kind of control mechanism that you get to remember things or you don't get to remember things.
• 21:49
Speaker 1: And then it's like I'm standing on the moon looking down on the earth.
• 21:53
Speaker 1: You know, it's like a movie screen appears or just like images that just appear out of nowhere and I see the earth, but around the earth there was this, what I called at the time the silvery glittery fishnet.
• 22:04
  Speaker 1: This is 1994.
• 22:06
Speaker 1: So we didn't have Google yet, we couldn't Google grid around the earth like we can now right.
• 22:13
  Speaker 1: That wasn't even.
• 22:14
Speaker 1: I don't know if you remember, 1994 was probably when we had a modem right, the dial-in right.
• 22:20
Speaker 1: We didn't have that search capability.
• 22:22
Speaker 1: So I called it the silvery glittery fishnet.
• 22:25
Speaker 1: Because I grew up in Northern Europe, in Sweden, and we have an archipelago outside of Stockholm where I grew up, where you know it's like 24,000 islands and I spent my summers on one of these islands without electricity or running water and it was just, you know, absolutely fabulous.
• 22:42
Speaker 1: And my grandmother would row.
• 22:44
Speaker 1: I would row the little boat for my grandmother.
• 22:47
Speaker 1: I finally graduated to be the rower and I was really proud because I have three older brothers.
• 22:52
Speaker 1: Finally I was old enough to row this boat for my grandmother and she would lay fishnets in the ocean to catch fish and when she lifted these fishnets out of the ocean in the early morning sun, all those little water droplets would sparkle on that fishnet, but the fishnet has that kind of diamond shape, right, but that's what I saw.
• 23:11
Speaker 1: So that's why I call it the silvery, glittery fishnet because I didn't have any words for it.
• 23:16
Speaker 1: And the spirit guide says that everything on earth is connected to each other, but everything on earth is connected up to this grid, or fishnet as I call it at the time, and with that information they sent me back Trishnet as I called it at the time, and with that information they sent me back, and you know, this was in 1994.
• 23:41
Speaker 1: None of this really made sense, I'm going to say, until after I graduated from med school in 2016, when the pieces really started to come together.
• 23:44
Speaker 1: And now I understand that you know, what I saw was it's called Indra's Net in Buddhism, all right, and it's the.
• 23:50
Speaker 1: We are all connected through that time and space or quantum physics, and that's really become my work today is that deep understanding of how we are interconnected.
• 24:00
Speaker 1: And so not only do I work as a medical medium we're going to talk about all these things but I work as an ancestral healer, because I can understand how we are connected to our ancestors in a different way.
• 24:11
Speaker 1: So all these different experiences then guided me on my journey to go to med school at 54.
• 24:25
Speaker 2: And we can talk about all of those different experiences as well.
• 24:31
Speaker 2: Yeah, wow, okay, wow, no-transcript.
• 24:38
Speaker 2: Like when you're still you and like, did you know?
• 24:42
  Speaker 2: Okay, I'm dead.
• 24:43
Speaker 2: Or are you like I'm having a dream?
• 24:45
  Speaker 2: You know?
• 24:46
Speaker 2: Like, what were you really like, do you remember?
• 24:49
  Speaker 1: I know I hear you.
• 24:49
Speaker 1: No, you're just there, you're still you, right, and so, like in the ER, I'm like I belong to that body down there.
• 24:57
Speaker 1: But here I am, I am, and it's you have this, knowing that that's kind of where you're living.
• 25:06
Speaker 1: It's not any different than you step outside your house, you're talking to your neighbor in your front yard and you know that you live in the house.
• 25:10
Speaker 1: That's your house, where you live.
• 25:11
Speaker 1: It's the same thing.
• 25:14
Speaker 1: You just step outside your body, but you're still there.
• 25:18
Speaker 1: Right and so when you work when I work as a medium when you're connecting with the people in the spirit world or loved ones in the spirit world, they're going to come through and show me things that you are going to remember about them.
• 25:33
Speaker 1: So you know the character, the person that they were.
• 25:36
Speaker 1: I might say, oh, this is a, it's a man, and he made it into old age, you know at least 70s or 80s, and he had this big smile and he was very exuberant and very loving, right, or it could be.
• 25:50
Speaker 1: This man was very withdrawn and he was kind of abusive and you know he had a problem with alcohol, because I can see a lot of alcohol bottles.
• 25:58
Speaker 1: So, like the character of who they were typically comes through first and that's what we're going to see.
• 26:04
Speaker 1: But if somebody comes through, right, so sometimes people have had an ancestor that maybe have had substance abuse issues and were not the best person when they were here.
• 26:14
Speaker 1: But what happens is that they come through.
• 26:16
Speaker 1: They show me that part that this is who they were.
• 26:19
Speaker 1: The person says, yeah, I know who it is.
• 26:21
Speaker 1: That's my dad right heart, that this is who they were.
• 26:24
Speaker 1: The person says, yeah, I know who it is, that's my dad Right, yeah, he had problems with alcohol and blah, blah, blah and.
• 26:29
Speaker 1: But then comes the apology of how sorry they are for the hurt that they have inflicted on that person, and so it can be very healing, you know to, to have readings like that.
• 26:37
Speaker 1: And that's actually how I got into ancestral healing, was actually doing mediumship readings, because I think my life has been extremely guided by the spirit world, because that is my incarnation in this life.
• 26:49
Speaker 1: I know that I'm here as a healer.
• 26:53
Speaker 1: I know that I'm here as a bridge between the spirit world and people.
• 26:58
Speaker 1: I'm here to help people heal.
• 27:00
Speaker 1: I'm here to bring messages and healing to the people, and that is my incarnation.
• 27:04
Speaker 1: And that's also why these things have happened to me right.
• 27:07
Speaker 1: So to make me understand that I have to learn to trust in that, and there was a lot of things that happened, many different experiences that happened consistently after those near-death experiences, to help me learn to trust in the messages that I received.
• 27:22
Speaker 1: So it's not something that happens overnight.
• 27:24
Speaker 1: It took a really long time for me to trust it because I was so logical and skeptical saying, oh, it's just a coincidence, it's just a coincidence, it couldn't be.
• 27:35
Speaker 1: And then learning to write everything down and then learning to trust it thing down and then learning to trust it?
• 27:46
Speaker 2: Did it start as messages or people that were connected to you personally first?
• 27:48
Speaker 1: So there are a couple of funny fun stories.
• 27:50
Speaker 1: The family, I'm going to say the family always comes through first because they're the closest to you your own children, your parents, nieces and nephews and things like that, because they're in your immediate family.
• 28:01
Speaker 1: But that only makes sense because we are in that network, so to speak.
• 28:06
Speaker 1: We're in that network.
• 28:07
Speaker 1: The family network is our closest network.
• 28:09
Speaker 1: And then you have other layers.
• 28:11
Speaker 1: You know second cousins, third cousins, friends and school teachers, right, and those are more on the outer part.
• 28:17
Speaker 1: But there are many fun stories.
• 28:20
Speaker 1: There was one when my children were.
• 28:22
Speaker 1: Let me think how old they were, they were probably like eight, nine, 12, and like 16 at the time.
• 28:30
Speaker 1: So I wake up one morning and I get three images.
• 28:32
Speaker 1: And the first image I see two of my kids in the car my middle boy in the front seat, my daughter in the back seat.
• 28:39
Speaker 1: Second image is a black scratch on the van door.
• 28:43
Speaker 1: We had a van at the time, a black scratch across the van door where the kids get in and out, on the passenger side.
• 28:49
Speaker 1: And the third image I see is I'm leaving a note on the windshield of a black sedan car.
• 28:55
Speaker 1: So I tell my kids we were living in East Bay, san Francisco, at the time and these two kids went to school in the city.
• 29:01
Speaker 1: So I was driving them when they were little, you know across the Bay Bridge every day.
• 29:05
Speaker 1: So I tell them you guys are in the car, and this is what I saw.
• 29:09
Speaker 1: And we figured out there's only one intersection that we have oncoming traffic.
• 29:14
Speaker 1: When we make a left turn, like we cross the Bay Bridge, we get off the freeway, we get down to the surface streets, we jog left at the light and that's where we have oncoming traffic.
• 29:23
Speaker 1: So every day we get to this intersection my kid's nose is like literally pressed up against the window.
• 29:28
Speaker 1: Mom, the coast is clear.
• 29:30
Speaker 1: So we did that for like two weeks.
• 29:33
Speaker 1: Right, they're afraid that we're going to be in an accident.
• 29:35
Speaker 1: You're going to get hit.
• 29:36
Speaker 1: And so we're all kind of on edge and two weeks later we're in Walnut Creek, which is in East Bay, San Francisco.
• 29:41
Speaker 1: We're coming out of the bookstore and there's a big truck offloading all these boxes and I'm trying to squeeze onto this little tiny street and as I'm making a right turn onto the street, the right side of my car scrapes the parked car and so I scrape the car and it's a black sedan.
• 30:00
Speaker 1: So as I'm looking to see this car, I get out of my car, I walk around, I see the scratch in the car.
• 30:07
Speaker 1: I literally just stood like I just threw my hands up in the air and just started laughing and I remember people just staring at me.
• 30:14
Speaker 1: They were probably thinking this woman is nuts, right.
• 30:19
Speaker 2: She just scraped this car.
• 30:20
Speaker 2: She's just standing there laughing, she's laughing Right.
• 30:22
Speaker 1: So there I was leaving that note on the windshield of that black sedan car.
• 30:27
Speaker 1: So all these different things taught me to trust in the messages that I received.
• 30:34
Speaker 1: So after 12 years of this, so now it's 2004, my daughter was born in 1992.
• 30:42
Speaker 1: And my kids are not teenagers and I'm thinking okay, I need to go back to school and do something, I want to work in the healing, in the healing arts something.
• 30:55
Speaker 1: And I grew up in Europe.
• 30:55
Speaker 1: My father was a physician, my mom was a hospital floor administrator.
• 30:57
Speaker 1: One of my brothers became a surgeon.
• 30:58
Speaker 1: All my parents' friends were like the men were doctors and the wives were nurses.
• 31:03
Speaker 1: I mean, it was just across the board.
• 31:04
Speaker 1: So I grew up hearing all the medical stories all the time and I always wanted to be a doctor, since I was a little girl, like as long as I can remember, and my dad would say, no, you don't want to be a doctor, you be a nurse, it doesn't take us much time, and then you'll have time to have a family, right Of course.
• 31:23
Speaker 1: So you know it's the 1960s and so it's a different era that I grew up in.
• 31:28
Speaker 1: And I said no, I don't want to be a nurse.
• 31:30
Speaker 1: If I'm going to do that, I want to be a doctor.
• 31:32
Speaker 1: And then I ended up marrying an American, coming to the States, and my life kind of changed in all possible ways, so possible ways.
• 31:39
Speaker 1: So here I am looking at the computer trying to figure out what to do.
• 31:43
Speaker 1: So I find this school and it says naturopathic medicine.
• 31:47
Speaker 1: I said wow, that sounds so cool.
• 31:49
Speaker 1: You study pharmaceuticals, you get all the regular, you're like an MD, but you have a bigger tool bag because you also study botanical medicine.
• 31:57
Speaker 1: You study homeopathy, acupuncture and a little bit of everything right, so you can do a lot of different things, not just the regular traditional.
• 32:05
Speaker 1: And then I realized it was a medical school.
• 32:08
Speaker 1: So there's only five medical schools that offer naturopathic medicine.
• 32:13
  Speaker 1: I said I can't do that.
• 32:14
  Speaker 1: I'm in my mid-40s now.
• 32:15
Speaker 1: I got to do all the prereqs and then after I do that, there's no guarantee I'm even going to be accepted.
• 32:22
  Speaker 1: X.
• 32:22
Speaker 1: And then after I do that, there's no guarantee I'm even going to be accepted.
• 32:24
Speaker 1: They might just say you're too old.
• 32:25
Speaker 1: So I closed the computer and walked to the kitchen.
• 32:27
Speaker 1: I said, all right, I'm just going to start prepping dinner.
• 32:28
Speaker 1: And as I get to the kitchen, the spirit world drops in and they give me three messages and they say you have to go to med school, you have to become a naturopathic doctor and you need the degree for the work you're here to do.
• 32:41
Speaker 1: But you're not going to work as a doctor the whole time.
• 32:44
Speaker 1: And I'm like what do you mean?
• 32:45
  Speaker 1: Why?
• 32:46
Speaker 2: would I go through all that and not work as a doctor the whole time.
• 32:51
Speaker 2: What are you talking about?
• 32:53
Speaker 1: So, and then they said, oh, you were to write two books, no way three.
• 32:57
Speaker 1: And I said okay, what am I supposed to write about?
• 33:01
Speaker 1: And they're like oh, when the time is right, we'll tell you.
• 33:03
Speaker 1: And then they said you're to bring messages and healing to the people.
• 33:07
Speaker 1: And I said what do you mean?
• 33:09
  Speaker 1: Messages?
• 33:09
  Speaker 1: What messages?
• 33:10
Speaker 1: Right, because the only experience I had had up until that point was the spirit world dropping in on me, right On you.
• 33:18
  Speaker 2: Right.
• 33:18
Speaker 1: Yes, so to tune in and get messages for other people.
• 33:21
Speaker 1: That wasn't even in my conscious yet, right?
• 33:24
Speaker 1: So within two weeks I enrolled at the community college, which is like 50 minutes from where we lived, and did all the prereqs.
• 33:33
Speaker 2: So I had to actually start with advanced placement, high school biology, because I didn't have those classes, because I went to school in Europe it was a different time, so I had to get into the freshman biology to get into the prereq classes.
• 33:47
Speaker 1: So it was like forever, you know.
• 33:49
Speaker 1: One class after another I had to take biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, physics and math, finally finished all of that and in the meantime my kids were growing up, went back and worked in the biotech industry for four years, sold antibodies for cancer detection, then became the national sales manager.
• 34:06
Speaker 1: And I did that.
• 34:08
Speaker 1: And then finally the kids the last child moves out.
• 34:10
Speaker 1: I said this is it, I'm going.
• 34:13
Speaker 1: I applied into med school, was accepted and went to med school when I was 54 and did that for four years and then graduated when I was 58.
• 34:22
Speaker 1: And then, as soon as I graduated, that's when I met this woman.
• 34:28
Speaker 1: And this is funny because we are all so guided and I was studying craniosacral therapy with the Upland Institute and I had flown out to San Francisco.
• 34:39
Speaker 1: I was in my residency here in Arizona and I met this woman who also was from the Phoenix area, from Scottsdale, and we had dinner together and she said you know, I'm a medium and somebody is here who wants to give you a message.
• 34:52
Speaker 1: And I'm thinking there is no way I don't know anything about this woman.
• 34:57
Speaker 1: She doesn't know anything about me, my upbringing is.
• 34:59
Speaker 1: There's no way she can even guess my life, because it's so different.
• 35:04
  Speaker 2: Right.
• 35:05
Speaker 1: So she goes oh, you know your mom.
• 35:08
Speaker 1: You know, we figured out it was my mom and she'd start talking about the fishing and the rowboat and laying the nets in the ocean.
• 35:15
Speaker 1: I was all right, she can't guess this.
• 35:17
Speaker 1: And she said you have to go to Arthur Findlay College in England and study mediumship.
• 35:22
  Speaker 1: And I said I can't do that.
• 35:24
  Speaker 1: I just graduated.
• 35:26
Speaker 1: I don't even have my test results.
• 35:28
Speaker 1: Yeah, so, sure enough, six months later, of course, I find myself at Arthur Findlay College in England.
• 35:37
Speaker 1: And then you know, I had now been hearing the spirit world for like what?
• 35:41
Speaker 1: 25 years at this point, but it was always messages for myself or about my family.
• 35:47
Speaker 1: So you know, now I had to hone in.
• 35:48
Speaker 1: I was already doing the work.
• 35:50
Speaker 1: I just had to figure out how to tune in for somebody else.
• 35:53
Speaker 1: So now when I'm in, so now when I'm at Arthur Finley College and the teacher says what we are doing is we are bringing messages to our clients, messages of healing.
• 36:05
Speaker 1: Now, finally, in 2017, the message I got in 2004 finally made sense.
• 36:10
Speaker 1: Right, you're here to bring messages and healing to people, a lot as a medical medium or medical intuitive.
• 36:14
Speaker 1: So I'm going to say I work as both, only because I work with the spirit world and so I work as a medium when I work as a medical intuitive.
• 36:30
Speaker 1: So it's kind of a combination of being intuitive or tuning in psychically to somebody's body and see what I feel.
• 36:36
Speaker 1: But then the spirit world also sometimes yells at me.
• 36:40
Speaker 1: You know a specific diagnosis which happened.
• 36:43
Speaker 1: You know it happens quite often and I get a diagnosis and I'll say has anybody told you you may have this?
• 36:50
Speaker 1: And they say I don't even know what that is.
• 36:53
Speaker 1: And sometimes, like happened not long ago, I got a diagnosis and I said you know, we didn't learn anything about this in medical school and I know regular MDs don't either, because I know it's a specialty.
• 37:04
Speaker 1: But I keep hearing this diagnosis.
• 37:06
Speaker 1: We're going to look it up.
• 37:07
Speaker 1: I looked it up, I read her the description of what it is and just saw her face, just her jaw drop, saying oh my gosh, that is exactly what happened to me.
• 37:19
Speaker 1: Wow, that is exactly what happened?
• 37:21
Speaker 1: to me and then she remembered 20 years ago.
• 37:23
Speaker 1: This doctor said you're going to be diagnosed with a connective vascular disease at some point.
• 37:30
Speaker 1: And that's exactly what it was, and all the symptoms was spot on right.
• 37:35
Speaker 1: So it's really interesting because the spirit world often comes in and gives me a diagnosis.
• 37:41
Speaker 1: But then, with my now I'm understanding what they meant back in 2004, because I needed a medical training to work spiritually also with people.
• 37:50
Speaker 1: Sometimes I get a diagnosis and I'll say, do you know what that is?
• 37:55
Speaker 1: And they say no, and I said, do you have these symptoms?
• 37:57
Speaker 1: And then they go yes, there it is.
• 37:59
Speaker 1: So they get, and then I can tell them this is what you need to do, you're actually going to need to have surgery, but I, what state are you in?
• 38:05
Speaker 1: And I can help them.
• 38:06
Speaker 1: You know, find the right person that can help them where they're living.
• 38:12
Speaker 1: So it's really interesting because we are, we are so guided by the spirit world.
• 38:15
Speaker 1: We are all guided, we all have this guidance, you know, and for me it's just this is my work, so it's going to be different, right for me, because I'm here to work with it.
• 38:26
Speaker 1: But it's like saying everybody can sing.
• 38:29
Speaker 1: We can all sing happy birthday.
• 38:31
Speaker 1: Everybody knows how to sing happy birthday, right?
• 38:33
Speaker 1: Are we all going to be Taylor Swift singing happy birthday?
• 38:37
Speaker 1: No, we're not going to be Taylor Swift, right?
• 38:39
Speaker 1: But it's the same thing.
• 38:40
Speaker 1: We all have the capacity of tuning in.
• 38:44
Speaker 1: We all have intuition.
• 38:45
Speaker 1: We all have the capacity of connecting with the spirit world, but we're not all here to work with it.
• 38:50
Speaker 1: Just like we can all sing.
• 38:51
Speaker 1: We're not all here to be big performers, but we all have that within us.
• 38:56
Speaker 1: We all are spiritual creatures.
• 39:00
Speaker 2: That is so fascinating.
• 39:01
Speaker 2: So how do give me some examples of when people would come to you for help with the need for a medical intuitive?
• 39:10
  Speaker 2: What's an example?
• 39:12
Speaker 1: Many times people have been sick for many years and they can't figure out what the problem is.
• 39:18
Speaker 1: And they go to the doctor, they do all the tests and they say, well, everything is normal, right, and then, if you're a woman, then you get sent to counseling or for a workout, because you're given an antidepressant right.
• 39:34
Speaker 2: I hear that a lot because they don't.
• 39:37
Speaker 1: They don't can't see anything wrong.
• 39:38
Speaker 1: But typically what happens is that there's so many things Before you go to medical school you think of a doctor like the doctor knows everything.
• 39:48
  Speaker 1: Not true, right?
• 39:50
Speaker 1: Different doctors are going to know different things, even if they have the same degree and the same title.
• 39:55
Speaker 1: So a general practitioner is not the same as the next general practitioner, because, depending on who their clients are, depending on the cases they have seen, that's what they're going to know, that's what they're familiar with, because medicine is such a broad topic and the tests that we have test only a fraction of the things that could be wrong with you.
• 40:17
Speaker 1: So we do the regular tests and nothing shows up.
• 40:20
Speaker 1: And if we haven't seen a case like this before, we don't know what to do with you.
• 40:23
Speaker 1: Right, because it's based now on what we have seen, what has come across our radar before.
• 40:29
Speaker 1: If you go to a doctor and they can't help you, by all means go to the next one, go to the next one and you keep jumping.
• 40:37
Speaker 1: You know it might take 10 doctors before you find the doctor that actually knows what's wrong with you.
• 40:42
Speaker 1: And many times those are the people that find me and they say you know, this has been going on for 10 years and I don't know what it is.
• 40:49
Speaker 1: And everybody tells me my blood labs are fine and they can't figure out what's wrong.
• 40:54
Speaker 1: And that's typically you know when other things come in and for some reason I've been blessed with all the weird things.
• 41:02
Speaker 1: Right, because also that's my work, I get all those.
• 41:05
Speaker 1: Those are like all my people, so I get people that typically fall through the cracks and I have a tendency to know the weird things.
• 41:13
Speaker 1: And I'm going to say part of that is growing up in a medical family and hearing all the stories from my mom and dad and all there, it was medicine every single day my whole life.
• 41:25
Speaker 1: Right, growing up and then working as a medium and tuning into the spirit world, but then also having the medical knowledge in my pocket so I can merge the two together.
• 41:36
Speaker 1: And then also, you know the experience that I have.
• 41:38
Speaker 1: But many times, I mean, I started knowing things about my patients when I was in med school and I would, you know, meditate too.
• 41:47
Speaker 1: There's so much stress in med school.
• 41:47
Speaker 1: So I made meditate too.
• 41:48
Speaker 1: There's so much stress in med school.
• 41:48
Speaker 1: So I've made sure I meditated every day at least 15 minutes, even if it was midnight or one o'clock in the morning.
• 41:53
Speaker 1: I would meditate because you have to do something to keep yourself calm, because you're carrying such an incredible.
• 42:00
Speaker 1: I think we carried like 32 credits in every 11 weeks.
• 42:04
Speaker 1: So, yeah, it's a lot You're doing like four years of college, like 32 credits in every 11 weeks.
• 42:08
  Speaker 2: Wow, yeah, it's a lot.
• 42:09
Speaker 1: You're doing like four years of college in a year, but you're doing that for four years in a row, right?
• 42:15
Speaker 1: Wow, it's like a fire hose.
• 42:19
  Speaker 2: Yes.
• 42:20
Speaker 1: You hear things once and you're expected to remember it.
• 42:22
Speaker 1: You know and you're doing this in your 50s, let's just say yeah, I mean, you're doing this in your 50s.
• 42:27
Speaker 2: Let's just say you're doing this in your 50s.
• 42:28
  Speaker 2: I can't remember anything if I don't write it down.
• 42:30
Speaker 2: I can't imagine going to medical school right now and I'm 54.
• 42:33
  Speaker 2: Holy cow.
• 42:36
Speaker 1: You grow brain cells as you're.
• 42:38
Speaker 1: You know, as you're working like this, you get better at it as you go along.
• 42:42
Speaker 1: But you know, being in med school is like a thousand PowerPoint slides a week.
• 42:46
Speaker 1: And then they say we're having a quiz 10 questions.
• 42:48
Speaker 1: You need 70 or above to pass.
• 42:50
Speaker 1: Wow, how do you memorize a thousand PowerPoint slides when you're off between 12 am and 6 am?
• 42:57
Speaker 1: Basically You're back in school at 8 am.
• 42:59
Speaker 1: You have a four-hour lecture every morning from 8 to 12.
• 43:01
Speaker 1: And then sometimes you're there until nine o'clock at night.
• 43:05
Speaker 1: It's like all day.
• 43:06
Speaker 1: And how are you supposed to even review the 200 PowerPoint slides?
• 43:09
Speaker 1: You saw that morning, right patients.
• 43:22
Speaker 1: And then I graduated, I was in residency and I would hear a new patient walks through the door and I would get the diagnosis.
• 43:29
Speaker 1: And there was this one man I remember he came in and as soon as he walks into my room the spirit world says lung cancer, lung cancer, okay.
• 43:40
Speaker 1: So I asked this man all these questions and he came in and I said well, you know why are you here today?
• 43:46
Speaker 1: Well, I have this little tickle cough.
• 43:48
Speaker 1: It's typical what we see with allergies and I lived up north of Phoenix at the time, so it was a lot of allergies in that area and we do the whole intake.
• 43:58
Speaker 1: I listen to his lungs and there is not one peep Okay.
• 44:02
Speaker 1: And many times I mean, if people have allergies, you know, might have asthma, right, all these different things could be wrong.
• 44:07
Speaker 1: Well, he had had cancer when he was in his 20s and he did have metastasis on his lungs at that time and they had radiated those spots on his lungs and I said you know your lungs, I can't hear anything.
• 44:20
Speaker 1: But because of your history and because you're worried, let's just do an x-ray and see if anything shows up.
• 44:27
Speaker 1: X-ray comes back possible lung cancer.
• 44:31
Speaker 1: So at that point I'm not a cancer doctor so we can't treat that.
• 44:34
Speaker 1: So we have to hand it over to a cancer doctor or an oncologist.
• 44:37
Speaker 1: Hand it over to the oncologist in the clinic and, sure enough, lung cancer.
• 44:42
Speaker 1: And it was so frustrating for me because I said why did they give me the diagnosis if I couldn't save this man right?
• 44:50
Speaker 1: But he was the caretaker of his wife who had Alzheimer's and so what this diagnosis allowed him to do was put all the paperwork together, get help for his wife so that she would be cared for.
• 45:02
Speaker 1: Then he literally checked himself into hospice and I believe he passed away like within three or four months.
• 45:08
Speaker 1: And so then I'm back at Arthur Finley College again studying mediumship, and I told my teachers, I said why do they give me these the diagnosis if I can't help them?
• 45:17
Speaker 1: And the teacher just looked at me and he said well, why do you think?
• 45:21
Speaker 1: And I said so I would listen.
• 45:23
Speaker 1: And they said, yep, that is exactly right.
• 45:25
Speaker 1: They just want to make sure you're listening, because another time you're going to get a diagnosis and you will be able to help them.
• 45:30
Speaker 1: But you have to.
• 45:32
Speaker 1: You know, this was just a case where they had an opportunity to give you the diagnosis and now you're listening, so you're always going to listen now.
• 45:40
Speaker 1: So, and that's when that kind of started pushing me into medical medium and medical intuitive.
• 45:45
Speaker 1: And then you know many different patients like that, and now I work, you know, with people on Zoom from all over the world, and many times I'll know the diagnosis before they show up on the screen.
• 45:57
Speaker 1: It depends what it is.
• 45:58
Speaker 1: So sometimes I'll say you know, I'll just make up a name Maria Johnson is your next client.
• 46:07
Speaker 1: And so I'll get to my computer.
• 46:09
Speaker 1: I'll say okay, hello, spirit world.
• 46:12
Speaker 1: What's wrong with Maria Johnson?
• 46:13
Speaker 1: And sometimes they'll give me a diagnosis and other times they might not.
• 46:18
Speaker 1: And that's just the unpredictability of the spirit world, because sometimes if I'm supposed to know the diagnosis, I'm going to get it and it's time for them to create healing.
• 46:29
Speaker 1: I will get the diagnosis, I'll know what to do with them and I can steer them in that direction and say this is what has to happen.
• 46:35
Speaker 1: You need to have surgery.
• 46:37
Speaker 1: These are great doctors.
• 46:39
Speaker 1: Look into these places and go from there, right.
• 46:42
Speaker 1: But I'm going to say there are times when you're not supposed to have the diagnosis as well, because maybe you're incarnated to have a little bit of a journey and go through some healing process, just like I was sick for 10 years.
• 46:58
Speaker 1: That was my healing journey.
• 47:00
Speaker 1: It's in my astrological chart.
• 47:02
Speaker 1: I incarnated to have that experience because that's who I am and it made me who I am today.
• 47:07
  Speaker 1: I lived that.
• 47:09
Speaker 1: I understand what it's like to be chronically ill and not be able to do anything or function normally, and then tuning into you know my mediumistic abilities and my medical knowledge at the same time.
• 47:20
Speaker 1: But I'm going to say part of that is just what's reincarnated to experience and sometimes it's an ancestral problem.
• 47:29
Speaker 1: So people sign up for a medical intuitive, but I'm getting right away it's an emotional problem or it's an ancestral issue.
• 47:37
Speaker 1: That's compounding this other thing, right, right, yeah.
• 47:42
Speaker 1: Or sometimes they say you know, I'm in menopause now and I say I know this is going to sound crazy, but the spirit world tells me that the underlying reason for your issues is because of an inflammatory condition and I need to know about your periods because spirit world says that you had terrible periods.
• 48:01
Speaker 1: Can you tell me about your periods, when you had your periods, when you had your periods, and, of course, then it all comes out oh, it was terrible.
• 48:06
Speaker 1: I had a lot of pain and heavy bleeding and all these different things, right.
• 48:10
Speaker 1: And then, yep, that's where it is and that's what's driving this inflammatory condition, which then has led to maybe food allergies or other allergies and all these other different issues that we typically don't have good tests for, and falls through the cracks when we go to the doctor.
• 48:25
Speaker 1: So it's very interesting.
• 48:26
Speaker 1: It's just a journey, and sometimes it ends up as an ancestral healing session too, right.
• 48:32
Speaker 2: You never know where it's going to go.
• 48:33
Speaker 2: Are your friends leery of hanging out with you, thinking like they're?
• 48:40
Speaker 2: All talking about me to her.
• 48:45
Speaker 1: You know, I think, the spirit world, you know you turn off if you're supposed to know something.
• 48:49
Speaker 1: The spirit world is going to come through and you know they'll tell me something.
• 48:54
Speaker 1: But most of the time, I think, when we, you know, when we're interacting, the spirit world is like okay, she's having a normal human experience, she's just being a regular friend Right.
• 49:06
Speaker 1: What do your kids think I'm going to say?
• 49:08
Speaker 1: My daughter is extremely spiritual because she is the one that came along, you know, with my near-death experience.
• 49:15
Speaker 1: So you know she had a different mother than my boys.
• 49:19
Speaker 1: My boys were six and three and a half when she was born and by the time I stepped into that, into my spirituality, you know they were older.
• 49:29
Speaker 1: So I'm going to say my boys, they understand it and you know they respect it, but they're not that spiritual themselves.
• 49:37
Speaker 1: Yet you know they're like oh wow, that's cool.
• 49:40
  Speaker 1: How does that?
• 49:41
Speaker 1: work Mom's a little woo-woo and a little out there Right exactly Versus my daughter who's like all in, and she'll say you know, she knows exactly, she's quite intuitive and psychic herself.
• 49:51
Speaker 1: So it's really interesting because you know they had a different mom, so to speak, until I was able to step into it fully myself.
• 50:00
Speaker 1: It took me, you know, a number of years to be able to acknowledge the gifts, because I was so skeptical myself in the beginning, saying ah, it's just a coincidence.
• 50:10
  Speaker 2: It couldn't be.
• 50:10
Speaker 2: Now, how do you spend your time?
• 50:13
Speaker 2: Because you have this, you've written a book, you, I think you have a couple books, you have a podcast, so how do you split your time and decide what you're going to work on when?
• 50:24
Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm going to say it's all intuitively guided.
• 50:27
Speaker 1: So there are times when people sign up because on my website, when you go to my website, I have all the different sessions and it's like medical, intuitive or remote health consultation, messages from your spirit guides, ancestral healing, and you sign up for whatever.
• 50:45
Speaker 1: And there are times when it's almost like the entire week is just medical, intuitive, and then next week it's all mediumship and the next week is a lot of messages from spirit guides and it just goes in these waves and I'm just kind of like going along with it and it's intuitively guided.
• 51:00
Speaker 1: It's the people, whatever it is, that's needed at that time.
• 51:04
Speaker 1: That's what's going to show up on my calendar and it just sways back and forth and sometimes it's just a little bit of everything you know.
• 51:10
Speaker 1: In one day I'll do medical, intuitive, ancestral healing and mediumship all in one day, right, wow?
• 51:16
Speaker 1: And it just varies.
• 51:18
Speaker 1: But the messages from your spirit guides I often get this question Mediumship is different from messages from your spirit guides.
• 51:25
Speaker 1: That was going to be my next question yes, that is when we tune in to the loved ones in the spirit world, or not so loved ones in the spirit world, right, if we need forgiveness and we need to get clear on something that wasn't so great when that person was here, right?
• 51:40
Speaker 1: So there are many different reasons why people sign up for a mediumship, or they just want to hear from their dad or their partner or somebody.
• 51:46
Speaker 1: Why people sign up for mediumship or they just want to hear from their dad or their partner or somebody.
• 51:49
Speaker 1: And that's when we connect with the spirit world.
• 51:50
Speaker 1: And that's one session, because it the way I work is different.
• 51:54
Speaker 1: You can't be like switching back and forth.
• 51:56
Speaker 1: It's it just becomes not a good session.
• 51:59
Speaker 1: Then you need to focus on one thing, because the way the energy, the way I use my energy is different for the different sessions.
• 52:05
Speaker 1: And so that's when we tune into the spirit world.
• 52:09
Speaker 1: Messages from your spirit guides is so.
• 52:12
Speaker 1: We all have a team of spirit guides.
• 52:15
Speaker 1: We all have spirit guides, we all have spirit animals.
• 52:17
Speaker 1: We're just not aware of them, right?
• 52:19
Speaker 1: Unless we work with them and we tune into it.
• 52:22
Speaker 1: And when I work with messages from spirit guides, I sketch what I see, because I'm going to say, 80 or 90% of the way I communicate with the spirit world is clairvoyant.
• 52:34
Speaker 1: So I get a lot of images.
• 52:35
Speaker 1: So I also feel and I also hear, I also know.
• 52:39
  Speaker 1: But that's a smaller portion, that's like the other 20%.
• 52:43
Speaker 1: So a lot of it I see.
• 52:45
Speaker 1: So I get images and even when I do mediumship readings, they're showing me this, I see this.
• 52:49
Speaker 1: Now Does that make sense to you?
• 52:50
Speaker 1: And they're like, yes, but the messages from spirit guides, I see the spirit guide.
• 52:56
Speaker 1: But once I see the spirit guide, I know things about the client.
• 52:59
  Speaker 1: And it's fascinating.
• 53:01
Speaker 1: It's exciting for me too, because I get the spirit guide and then I'll look at the client and I'll say, okay, this is your spirit guide and this is what you're here to do, and you're doing this and that.
• 53:12
Speaker 1: And the spirit guide tells me you either already wrote a book or you're writing a book now.
• 53:16
Speaker 1: And then they just look at me like nobody knows that yeah, I'm writing a book.
• 53:21
Speaker 1: I mean it's fascinating what comes through.
• 53:25
Speaker 1: And it's fascinating what comes through.
• 53:27
Speaker 1: And it's just, you have to learn to trust in those messages.
• 53:30
Speaker 1: And I was told at Arthur Finley College by one of the teachers in a reading that you have to draw.
• 53:36
Speaker 1: And I looked at the teacher and I started laughing and I said, no, you don't understand, I can't draw.
• 53:42
Speaker 1: Okay, I draw stick figures.
• 53:43
Speaker 1: I have never been able to draw, I can't draw.
• 53:44
Speaker 1: I have never draw stick figures.
• 53:45
Speaker 1: I have never been able to draw, I can't draw.
• 53:48
Speaker 1: I have never drawn a phase in my life I draw stick figures, I can't draw.
• 53:52
Speaker 1: And he just looks at me and he goes no, you're supposed to draw, I can't draw.
• 54:03
Speaker 1: So, literally during the pandemic, when everything was shut down, one of the teachers offered portraits of spirit guides or something from Arthur Findlay College and I said, hey, that sounds like fun, I'm going to take that and took that course.
• 54:11
Speaker 1: And she said all right, look at what I'm doing, I'm going to draw here.
• 54:15
Speaker 1: I put the camera so you can see, and I could see the face before she had even drawn the face.
• 54:20
Speaker 1: She just had like an egg on the page, yes, and then she just kind of blurred it and I could already see the face.
• 54:27
Speaker 1: And then the face came out and she said all right, now you have all followed along.
• 54:32
Speaker 1: Once I'm going to put you in groups and now you draw a spirit for your partner.
• 54:37
Speaker 1: I'm like I'm supposed to draw a face now, like after this Right, I have never drawn in my life, sure enough it this.
• 54:48
Speaker 1: I have never drawn in my life, sure enough, it comes through again.
• 54:50
Speaker 1: So I'm just doing the same thing.
• 54:51
Speaker 1: She said could make an egg and blur it and then make the eyes come out, nose, you know.
• 54:54
Speaker 1: And that's what I do, and it only takes like five minutes to draw that quick sketch and then I take a picture of it and I mail it to the person.
• 55:02
Speaker 1: But it's really interesting because the messages that come through has to do with, kind of like, what is my purpose?
• 55:08
Speaker 1: What am I here to do?
• 55:09
Speaker 1: Or, you know, sometimes it could be challenges.
• 55:11
Speaker 1: Spirit Guide says you're having issues with this and that, and you know, is that true?
• 55:16
Speaker 1: Does that make sense to you?
• 55:17
Speaker 1: Yes, or you're kind of at the crossroads, or you started a new business and you know you don't know what you're doing now.
• 55:23
Speaker 1: So it's really interesting what comes through and it's all guidance from the spirit world that is ready to be received by that person.
• 55:30
Speaker 1: But it's a really fun session, you know, and what comes through and it could be anything from a warrior to a monk and it could be that spirit guide could be anybody.
• 55:43
Speaker 1: We don't know who it's going to be until that person shows up.
• 55:46
Speaker 1: But then you have other spirit guides too, and that's your main one.
• 55:49
Speaker 1: But I've also been told many times.
• 55:51
Speaker 1: I remember there was a pilot once who said and I said, you have a Native American spirit guide with you.
• 55:57
Speaker 1: This pilot looks at me and he goes.
• 56:00
Speaker 1: I know, I've always known, he's been with me.
• 56:04
Speaker 2: And I've had other people tell me.
• 56:07
Speaker 1: I said you know, you have a monk with you and he looks like this and he has this.
• 56:12
Speaker 1: He's actually wearing a long white robe, you know, but he says he's like some kind of a monk and spiritual guide.
• 56:19
Speaker 1: The person looks at me and says I had a near-death experience, you know, 30 years ago in a car accident or something, I met him.
• 56:27
Speaker 1: I met that guy.
• 56:28
  Speaker 1: Wow.
• 56:29
Speaker 2: I mean, it gives you goosebumps.
• 56:30
Speaker 2: Wow, that gives you goosebumps.
• 56:32
Speaker 2: Just to hear you say that, because it's like it's so I mean, it's so incredible but it's.
• 56:36
Speaker 1: It's so heartwarming when, when you know, people look at you and say, I know, I know, yeah, I've met that person.
• 56:43
Speaker 1: But it's absolutely fascinating because we all have that.
• 56:46
  Speaker 1: Oh, wow, Okay.
• 56:48
Speaker 2: I could talk to you for hours.
• 56:49
Speaker 2: So, first of all, thank you so much for sharing your journey.
• 56:53
Speaker 2: I think it's fascinating and I think you just open our eyes a little bit to this concept that.
• 56:58
Speaker 2: I love what you said.
• 56:59
Speaker 2: You know, we're just wearing these human suits while we're here, and I think that's really impactful and a really interesting way for us to think about why we're here and also to recognize that there are people out there, like yourself, who can channel into these spirit, guides and into resources that can help us when we're struggling in different places, and that truly is a gift, and you clearly have a calling to be here for that.
• 57:24
Speaker 2: So I thank you for that.
• 57:25
Speaker 2: Before we go, I'd like to ask all my guests if they have a book that they could recommend that has impacted them personally or professionally other than their own, which will obviously be in the show notes.
• 57:34
Speaker 2: So what book would you like to recommend to everybody?
• 57:37
Speaker 1: I would say Gabor Maté's book the Myth of Normal.
• 57:41
Speaker 1: I've heard of it.
• 57:44
  Speaker 2: I haven't read it.
• 57:44
Speaker 2: You haven't read that one yet.
• 57:47
Speaker 1: I have not read it, but I've heard of it.
• 57:48
  Speaker 1: I haven't read it.
