- 1:06Speaker 2: let's see what celebrities share birthdays with you. Let's kick
- 1:10Speaker 2: it off with today. It would have been the seventy
- 1:13Speaker 2: eighth birthday of Freddie Mercury from Queen. It's crazy. Me
- 1:17Speaker 2: and my wife just did the math. He died at
- 1:20Speaker 2: forty five years old from AIDS related complications. But the
- 1:24Speaker 2: fact that he would have been seventy eight years old
- 1:27Speaker 2: today and we were listening to Queen way back in
- 1:31Speaker 2: the eighties and nineties is a scary thought. So happy
- 1:34Speaker 2: birthday in having a Freddie Mercury. Michael Keaton Batman turned
- 1:38Speaker 2: seventy three today, Bob Newhart would have celebrated a birthday today,
- 1:42Speaker 2: and actress Rose McGowan would have been fifty one Tomorrow,
- 1:48Speaker 2: September sixth Idris Elba is fifty two, bron Strowman is
- 1:52Speaker 2: going to be forty one, Rapper Foxy Brown will be
- 1:55Speaker 2: forty six, Singer Macy Gray fifty seven. My favorite actresses,
- 2:01Speaker 2: Rosie Perez turns sixty Saturday, September seventh, Happy Birthday. Shout
- 2:05Speaker 2: out to my best friend at work, Alejandro and one
- 2:08Speaker 2: of my other good friends at work, you Relics. They
- 2:11Speaker 2: both share a birthday on Saturday. Also Easy E from
- 2:16Speaker 2: NWA would have had a birthday on Saturday. Also Gracie
- 2:20Speaker 2: Abrams turns twenty five. Evan rachel Wood turns thirty seven,
- 2:25Speaker 2: basketball player Donovan Mitchell turns twenty seven, and Gloria Gaynor
- 2:29Speaker 2: she did survive. She's gonna be eighty one years old.

- 2:37Speaker 2: forty five, Stranger Things actor Gatton Mostrasa turns twenty two.

- 2:47Speaker 2: host Big Boy turns fifty five, Bernie Sanders turns eighty three.
- 2:52Speaker 2: You gotta yell when you say his name. David Arquette
- 2:55Speaker 2: turns fifty three, and Jonathan Taylor Thomas, Little Randy Tay
- 3:00Speaker 2: Taylor from All Improvement is my age? He turns forty three. Well,
- 3:04Speaker 2: I'll be forty four soon. But yeah, so I'm actually
- 3:07Speaker 2: a little older than Jonathan Taylor Thomas. And that's what
- 3:09Speaker 2: makes me mad. My mom had a chance to sign
- 3:12Speaker 2: a contract for me to be an actor. I did
- 3:14Speaker 2: a couple commercials. They gave me a contract and then
- 3:17Speaker 2: my mom forgot to fill it out and sign it
- 3:19Speaker 2: and return it. And Jonathan Taylor Thomas got my role.
- 3:23Speaker 2: But yeah, happy birthday and everybody celebrating a birthday this weekend.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Hopefully everybody has a great one. This is the Robbie
- 3:29Speaker 2: g Show podcast and guess what. Happy NFL return day.
- 3:34Speaker 2: That's right, it is official. We are here. The season
- 3:38Speaker 2: starts two nights. It's going to be an amazing football season.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I hope your team does well. It's gonna be great.
- 3:46Speaker 2: We're gonna go over who I think is gonna win
- 3:49Speaker 2: and lose all the games. This weekend, we got a
- 3:52Speaker 2: lot to talk about college football. WWEE had its pay
- 3:56Speaker 2: per view bash in Berlin last weekend. Has been a
- 4:01Speaker 2: great week for sports, but nothing Trump's the NFL coming back,
- 4:06Speaker 2: So let's do it this year just like we did
- 4:08Speaker 2: last year. I'm gonna go over all the winners and
- 4:11Speaker 2: stuff of every game this week, and then I did
- 4:14Speaker 2: on my ESPN app too, so I can keep track
- 4:18Speaker 2: of how many wins and losses I have all season long,
- 4:21Speaker 2: and we'll see how many games I predicted right I
- 4:23Speaker 2: forgot last year? How many I did? It was a
- 4:25Speaker 2: big number. I did a lot of right ones. But
- 4:27Speaker 2: let's see. So tonight kicking it all off, of course,
- 4:31Speaker 2: is the Ravens versus the Kansas City Chiefs. That's right,
- 4:35Speaker 2: Swifty's gonna be in the house tonight. They're gonna get
- 4:38Speaker 2: their rings, a big party. That's gonna be awesome. I
- 4:42Speaker 2: got Kansas City winning that one. Tomorrow A special game
- 4:47Speaker 2: on a Friday for the opening season, live from Brazil.
- 4:51Speaker 2: It's gonna be live. It's Green Bay Packers versus the Eagles.
- 4:55Speaker 2: I've got the Eagles winning Tomorrow night. Sunday, I've got
- 4:59Speaker 2: Steelers Falcons. I've got the Falcons winning that one. Let's
- 5:03Speaker 2: see the Arizona Cardinals and the Buffalo Bills. I've got
- 5:07Speaker 2: the Bills winning that. Titans at the Bears, the Bears,
- 5:12Speaker 2: We're going with the Bears. I'll talk about that in
- 5:14Speaker 2: a minute. Patriots and Bengals. I've got the Bengals winning
- 5:18Speaker 2: that one. All thirty two teams play this week too,
- 5:21Speaker 2: the first week of the season. The Texans and the Colts.
- 5:24Speaker 2: I've got the Texans beating Indianapolis. Let's see the Jacksonville
- 5:29Speaker 2: Jags versus the Dolphins. I got the Dolphins in that one.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Panthers versus Saints, I'll take the Saints, Vikings and Giants.
- 5:37Speaker 2: I've got the Giants and I'll tell you why in
- 5:39Speaker 2: a few minutes with that one too. Las Vegas is
- 5:42Speaker 2: gonna take on the Chargers. I've got the Chargers in
- 5:45Speaker 2: a first win for Jim Harbaugh. He's gonna win his
- 5:51Speaker 2: first game with the Chargers. Broncos and Seahawks. I've got
- 5:55Speaker 2: the Seahawks winning that. Cowboys versus the Browns, I got
- 5:59Speaker 2: dumb Boy winning Washington and the Buccaneers. I've got the
- 6:03Speaker 2: Buccaneers winning. I still think that Jade Daniels is gonna
- 6:06Speaker 2: have a good game, but I think he's gonna lose
- 6:08Speaker 2: his first one of the Bucks. And then Sunday Night Football,
- 6:12Speaker 2: Rams and Lions. I've got the Rams in that one.
- 6:15Speaker 2: And then Monday Night Football, Aaron Rodgers and the Jets
- 6:18Speaker 2: taking out of the forty nine Ers in San fran
- 6:21Speaker 2: I've got the forty nine Ers beating the Jets in
- 6:23Speaker 2: the first game of the season. So that is all
- 6:26Speaker 2: my predictions for Week one of the NFL Chicago Bears
- 6:30Speaker 2: and Titans. Of course, I've got Caleb Williams getting at
- 6:35Speaker 2: least three hundred yards in this game and three touchdowns.
- 6:39Speaker 2: And I did send out a tweet to Caleb. Now
- 6:43Speaker 2: you know, he may have seen it. He might not have.
- 6:45Speaker 2: I know he does. Look at his Twitter. I posted
- 6:49Speaker 2: on there. If you can win the game, get three
- 6:53Speaker 2: hundred yards passing and pass for three touchdowns. I'll pay
- 6:56Speaker 2: my fingernails on Sunday right before I go into work
- 7:00Speaker 2: Orange and Blue. I already got the nail polace s
- 7:02Speaker 2: in here. I'm just waiting on you, Caleb. I want
- 7:05Speaker 2: to see you have an amazing first game of the season.
- 7:07Speaker 2: So we'll see. But I think the Bears are gonna
- 7:09Speaker 2: win that one. I think it's going to be like
- 7:11Speaker 2: thirty five to twenty one. I think the Bears defense
- 7:15Speaker 2: is going to rock Tennessee. But Tennessee is gonna score
- 7:18Speaker 2: a little bit tonight. It's crazy because I did FanDuel
- 7:25Speaker 2: has of course their parlays going for tonight, and I
- 7:29Speaker 2: did take one. Let me see what it was, Okay,
- 7:35Speaker 2: So I bet a ten dollars wager on a four
- 7:40Speaker 2: person parlay with a fifty percent profit boost, which brought
- 7:46Speaker 2: it up to plus seven thousand, four hundred and ninety seven.
- 7:50Speaker 2: So that is a long shot. I got. Isaiah Pachenko
- 7:56Speaker 2: has to score a touchdown. Rashi Rice has to score
- 7:59Speaker 2: a touchdown. Those are for the Kansas City Chiefs, and
- 8:01Speaker 2: then for Baltimore, Mark Andrews their tight end, and Zave
- 8:07Speaker 2: Flowers have to each score a touchdown. If all four do,
- 8:12Speaker 2: I win seven hundred and fifty nine dollars. Not bad
- 8:15Speaker 2: for a ten dollars bet. You know, there's some pretty
- 8:20Speaker 2: decent parlays on here. If you really want to bet
- 8:23Speaker 2: some some stuff this weekend, it's pretty decent, So make
- 8:27Speaker 2: sure you go check that out. But you know, I
- 8:31Speaker 2: think Jim Harbaugh gets his first win. I think Jordan
- 8:35Speaker 2: Love struggles in that game tomorrow. Yeah, I think I
- 8:42Speaker 2: think Jordan Love in Philly or not in Philly, but
- 8:46Speaker 2: they're in Brazil. I think they're gonna struggle a little bit.
- 8:50Speaker 2: It's gonna be a good game. But at the end,
- 8:54Speaker 2: I think Jalen Hurts, who is my fantasy quarterback, is
- 8:57Speaker 2: going to throw for about three or four touchdowns on
- 8:59Speaker 2: that game, and he's gonna have himself a day, so
- 9:03Speaker 2: we'll see what happens. There any other games that I
- 9:07Speaker 2: can nitpick through really quick? Giants and Vikings. I think
- 9:10Speaker 2: the Giants win that first game. I think Daniel Jones
- 9:15Speaker 2: and Melik Naghbors are gonna show out a little bit.
- 9:17Speaker 2: I still don't think they're gonna have a great season,
- 9:19Speaker 2: but you know, I think they could be the Vikings.
- 9:21Speaker 2: The Vikings are not that great this year. They don't
- 9:24Speaker 2: have Kirk Cousins anymore. JJ McCarthy got hurt, So yeah,
- 9:29Speaker 2: I don't necessarily see the Giants going Vikings going far either,
- 9:35Speaker 2: So I think the Giants will take that one. Be
- 9:37Speaker 2: kind of cool if they tied, but yeah, I'm not
- 9:40Speaker 2: calling eight ties because it doesn't happen that often. And
- 9:43Speaker 2: then Judson forty nine ers. If Aaron Rodgers can stay
- 9:48Speaker 2: upright and not tear another achilles, they may make a
- 9:51Speaker 2: little noise in the AFC. And I like to see
- 9:53Speaker 2: that because I think he's getting close to retirement. I
- 9:56Speaker 2: think he's gonna be done pretty soon. Not yet, but
- 10:00Speaker 2: pretty soon. I think it's gonna happen. So let's move
- 10:03Speaker 2: on to a list that I found. So NFL on
- 10:07Speaker 2: Fox released a list of the top ten receivers via
- 10:11Speaker 2: Fox Sports NFL writers. See if you agree with this list.
- 10:15Speaker 2: I think one of my guys got robbed on this
- 10:17Speaker 2: I think he belongs on this list, especially after the
- 10:20Speaker 2: season he had last year, and if he has a
- 10:23Speaker 2: repeat season like he did last year, well, Caleb Williams,
- 10:26Speaker 2: I think he'll make this list. Number ten, Mike Evans
- 10:29Speaker 2: from Tampa, number nine, Garrett Wilson from the Jets, number eight.
- 10:36Speaker 2: San Francisco's Brian ayuck It got number eight on that one.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Number seven, Detroit's I'm on ras Saint Brown, number six
- 10:46Speaker 2: from the Raiders, Devonte Adams number five from the Eagles,
- 10:51Speaker 2: AJ Brown number four from Cincinnati, Jamar Chase number three
- 10:57Speaker 2: from Dallas, Cdee Lamb number two, two from the Dolphins,
- 11:02Speaker 2: Tyreek Hill at number one from the Vikings. Justin Jefferson.
- 11:08Speaker 2: I agree with pretty much everyone on this list, but
- 11:11Speaker 2: I would have took Garrett Wilson off and I would
- 11:14Speaker 2: have put DJ Moore on that list. I don't know
- 11:17Speaker 2: how Dj Moore got robbed. He had an amazing season
- 11:20Speaker 2: last year. You know he did everything right. Let's look
- 11:24Speaker 2: at Garrett Wilson's stats really quick from last year. I
- 11:27Speaker 2: just want to see how they compare. Let me see
- 11:35Speaker 2: Garrett wilson stance. Here we go. So last year, in
- 11:40Speaker 2: the second year in the league, he did ninety five
- 11:44Speaker 2: receptions one thousand and forty two yards and three touchdowns.
- 11:50Speaker 2: His rookie year in twenty twenty two, he had eighty
- 11:54Speaker 2: three receptions one and three yards and four touchdowns. So
- 11:59Speaker 2: he actually regressed a little bit in his second year
- 12:03Speaker 2: that he did in his first year in yards, touchdowns,
- 12:07Speaker 2: but he had more receptions, which is crazy. He had
- 12:11Speaker 2: eighty three in his rookie year. He had ninety five
- 12:14Speaker 2: in his second season, but he did less of everything.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Now go look at DJ moore stats and I'll tell
- 12:21Speaker 2: you this, DJ Moore deserves to be on that list
- 12:25Speaker 2: over this guy. So let's look at his stats really quick.
- 12:28Speaker 2: For DJ Moore. Last year, DJ Moore had ninety six
- 12:32Speaker 2: receptions for one three hundred and sixty four yards and
- 12:36Speaker 2: eight touchdowns. So you're telling me Garrett Wilson at number nine,
- 12:42Speaker 2: who did way less than djmore by a couple hundred
- 12:45Speaker 2: yards and by what five touchdowns less than he had,
- 12:51Speaker 2: and he made the list at number nine. DJ Moore
- 12:55Speaker 2: got robbed on this list, just like Jalen Johnson from
- 12:57Speaker 2: the Bears got robbed down the top one hundred of
- 13:00Speaker 2: twenty twenty four. It's I think in twenty twenty three,
- 13:03Speaker 2: but it's ridiculous, Like, I don't know how my boy
- 13:06Speaker 2: DJ did not get on there, because if you're going
- 13:09Speaker 2: based off of last year's stats, he deserves to be
- 13:12Speaker 2: on that list. If you're going based on career, Garrett
- 13:16Speaker 2: Wilson doesn't even belong on there. He's only been in
- 13:18Speaker 2: the league two years and he didn't do anything then.
- 13:21Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, he got too you know, back to
- 13:24Speaker 2: back thousand yard receiving seasons. But if you look at
- 13:27Speaker 2: DJ Moore, he's been in the league since twenty eighteen,
- 13:32Speaker 2: since one, two, three, four or five six seasons he's played,
- 13:35Speaker 2: he's only had two seasons that he had less than
- 13:41Speaker 2: a thousand yards. Only two seasons he missed a thousand
- 13:45Speaker 2: yard mark. His last season in Carolina, he had sixty
- 13:49Speaker 2: three receptions for eight hundred and eighty eight. But remember
- 13:52Speaker 2: DJ Moore was a third option on that Carolina Panthers team,
- 13:59Speaker 2: which is why they traded him. They didn't think he
- 14:02Speaker 2: was going to be even though he had a few
- 14:05Speaker 2: really good years there of like over eleven hundred yards.
- 14:10Speaker 2: They didn't think he was gonna be number one material
- 14:12Speaker 2: that's why they gave him to the Bears, and he
- 14:15Speaker 2: proved them wrong last year when he had the best
- 14:18Speaker 2: season of his career and his rookie year. He got
- 14:21Speaker 2: seven hundred and eighty eight yards on fifty five catches.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Not bad for a rookie. So yeah, it's kind of ridiculous.
- 14:30Speaker 2: I don't understand how DJ Moore got robbed. I mean,
- 14:33Speaker 2: even Keenan Allen could have made it on that list
- 14:36Speaker 2: past Garrett Wilson. I'd like to know how Mike Evans
- 14:40Speaker 2: isn't I had a Garrett Wilson here. Let's look really
- 14:44Speaker 2: quick at Mike Evans stats from last year. I just
- 14:47Speaker 2: want to see how it compares to Yeah, see whoever
- 14:51Speaker 2: made this list. It's kind of ridiculous. So last year,
- 14:55Speaker 2: Mike Evans, last year he did one thousand, two hundred
- 15:02Speaker 2: and fifty five yards and thirteen touchdowns and he's was
- 15:08Speaker 2: number ten on the list after Garrett Wilson. I want
- 15:11Speaker 2: to know who had Fox made this list, because they're
- 15:15Speaker 2: really horrible at doing this, really ridiculous. The Power rankings
- 15:20Speaker 2: came out Okay, power rankings came out and the Bears
- 15:24Speaker 2: got some love on this. This is the week one
- 15:27Speaker 2: power rankings, So this is based off of most likely
- 15:30Speaker 2: the preseason training camps all that this is where they
- 15:33Speaker 2: put the teams to start. Now, this is gonna flip
- 15:36Speaker 2: flop every week, So every week we're gonna do the
- 15:38Speaker 2: power rankings to see who moved up and who moved down.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Number thirty two the Carolina Panthers. Number thirty one or
- 15:46Speaker 2: to go back worse to first, thirty one is the
- 15:49Speaker 2: New England Patriots. Thirty is the Arizona Cardinals. Number twenty
- 15:55Speaker 2: nine New York Giants. Number twenty eight was the Raiders.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Number twenty seven Commanders twenty six was the Titans. Number
- 16:03Speaker 2: twenty five is the Vikings. Number twenty four is the Saints.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Number twenty three is the Broncos. Twenty two the Seattle
- 16:11Speaker 2: Seahawks twenty one Indianapolis Colts. Number twenty is the Jacksonville Jaguars.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Number nineteen is the Dallas Cowboys. Number eighteen is the
- 16:23Speaker 2: San Diego Chargers. Seventeen is the Los Angeles Rams. Number
- 16:28Speaker 2: sixteen is the Falcons. Number fifteen is the Steelers. Number
- 16:33Speaker 2: fourteen is the Jets. Number thirteen the Chicago Bears. Hell yeah,
- 16:38Speaker 2: I'll talk about that in a second. Number twelve is
- 16:41Speaker 2: the Cleveland Browns. Eleven is the Miami Dolphins. The top ten,
- 16:47Speaker 2: number ten the Houston Texans, number nine Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Number eight is the Buffalo Bills. Number seven is the
- 16:55Speaker 2: Cincinnati Bengals. Number six is the Philadelphia Eagle. Number five
- 17:01Speaker 2: is the Baltimore Ravens. Number four the San Francisco forty
- 17:05Speaker 2: nine ers. Number three is the Green Bay Packers. Number
- 17:09Speaker 2: two the Detroit Lions. At number one is the Kansas
- 17:13Speaker 2: City Chiefs. Amazingly, in the top thirteen, the NFC North
- 17:18Speaker 2: has three of those spots. The Bears at thirteen, Packers
- 17:22Speaker 2: I don't believe belonging at number three on this list,
- 17:24Speaker 2: and the Lions at number two. I think the Packers
- 17:27Speaker 2: should be at least number ten or eleven on that list.
- 17:31Speaker 2: I can think of a few more teams I will
- 17:33Speaker 2: put ahead of them. The Texans I will put ahead
- 17:35Speaker 2: of them. Yeah, Packers should not be setting up there.
- 17:40Speaker 2: I think the top three should be the Chiefs, the
- 17:43Speaker 2: Lions forty nine ers, and the Ravens at number four.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Eagles at number five. I think that some of these
- 17:51Speaker 2: should move down a number, and then the Packers should
- 17:54Speaker 2: move to at least like number eleven on this list. Actually,
- 17:58Speaker 2: I would move the Buccaneers out. I would put the
- 18:01Speaker 2: Texans at number nine, and I would have put the
- 18:03Speaker 2: Packers at number ten. The Packers did have a decent
- 18:07Speaker 2: run and then they made the playoffs. They struggled at
- 18:10Speaker 2: the beginning, came back second half of the season, had
- 18:12Speaker 2: a decent season, and salvaged a good year out of it,
- 18:16Speaker 2: and then ended up with a playoff spot at a
- 18:19Speaker 2: playoff win for Jordan Love at his first playoff game.
- 18:22Speaker 2: So yeah, I would definitely put them top ten, but
- 18:25Speaker 2: I wouldn't put them at number three right now. That's
- 18:28Speaker 2: a little high up there for the Packers. Next week,
- 18:32Speaker 2: these power rankings are gonna change. Now. What I'm happy
- 18:35Speaker 2: about is the Chicago Bears being number thirteen. We're not
- 18:38Speaker 2: even middle of the pack. We're like before that, So
- 18:42Speaker 2: that gives me hope. And the fact that the Chicago
- 18:45Speaker 2: Bears at number thirteen, right behind them is Aaron Rodgers
- 18:52Speaker 2: and the Jets, and right behind them is Justin Fields,
- 18:57Speaker 2: Russell Wilson and the Pittsburgh Steelers. I love seeing that.
- 19:00Speaker 2: So hopefully the Bears are gonna win this weekend. They're
- 19:03Speaker 2: gonna beat the Titans. The Titans are rated number twenty
- 19:06Speaker 2: six on the Power rankings, so we'll see what happens there.
- 19:10Speaker 2: It's gonna be a beak. We're gonna have a lot
- 19:12Speaker 2: to talk about with football next week. Obviously, this will
- 19:14Speaker 2: being the first week of the season. You know, there's
- 19:17Speaker 2: nothing to talk about until we see what happens on Thursday, Friday,
- 19:22Speaker 2: Sunday and Monday. That's right, there's four out of five days.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Of the next five days of football. You're gonna have
- 19:31Speaker 2: the Eagles and Packers tomorrow. Today, you got Kansas City
- 19:35Speaker 2: and Baltimore Sunday football all day, and then Monday night
- 19:38Speaker 2: football on Monday. It's gonna be amazing. Now, let's move
- 19:44Speaker 2: into college football, and let's see where all the rankings
- 19:49Speaker 2: are in the top twenty five after week one. Now,
- 19:54Speaker 2: one thing I'm not gonna do on the show is
- 19:56Speaker 2: go over all the scores from last week because there
- 19:59Speaker 2: was a lot of gas, okay, especially in college football,
- 20:02Speaker 2: even in the NFL. I'm gonna tell you what I
- 20:05Speaker 2: did raking wise, but I'm not going to go over
- 20:08Speaker 2: every single game. I might cherry pick a few good
- 20:12Speaker 2: ones that were on the car on the roster and
- 20:15Speaker 2: talk about it, but I'm not gonna go over every
- 20:18Speaker 2: single game because there's a lot and by that point
- 20:21Speaker 2: you've already seen all the winners and the losers of
- 20:23Speaker 2: every game. So we're not gonna do that. But here
- 20:26Speaker 2: we go. We're gonna do for college football like we
- 20:28Speaker 2: do for the NFL. We're gonna show you the rankings.
- 20:31Speaker 2: So here we go. Here's the top twenty five as
- 20:34Speaker 2: of this week. Okay, so number twenty five Clemson who
- 20:38Speaker 2: started the season oh to one. Let's see number twenty
- 20:42Speaker 2: four North Carolina State, who's one and oh, number twenty
- 20:46Speaker 2: three Georgia Tech, who's two and oh. Right now, they
- 20:49Speaker 2: won that first week of that. It was like an exhibition,
- 20:53Speaker 2: but it's still counted. Louisville comes in at number twenty
- 20:57Speaker 2: two at one, and OH Iowa comes in at twenty
- 21:02Speaker 2: one at one, and O Arizona comes in at twenty
- 21:06Speaker 2: at one, and O. Kansas comes at number nineteen at
- 21:11Speaker 2: one to O LSU comes in at eighteen at oh
- 21:15Speaker 2: to one. That's amazing, that's funny. Let's see number seventeen,
- 21:21Speaker 2: Kansas State one and O number seventeen, number sixteen. Oklahoma
- 21:26Speaker 2: State comes in at one and O number fifteen. Oklahoma
- 21:31Speaker 2: Sooners come in at one and oh and they are
- 21:33Speaker 2: at number fifteen. Number fourteen is Tennessee at one to O.
- 21:38Speaker 2: They yeah, they're one O. They came in at fourteen,
- 21:43Speaker 2: number thirteen USC one to O. Miami, the University of Miami.
- 21:49Speaker 2: The U come in at one and O at number twelve,
- 21:52Speaker 2: number eleven, Utah at one and oh number ten. My Wolverines,
- 21:57Speaker 2: I'll talk about that in a second. They're one to
- 21:59Speaker 2: O and they came in at number ten, number nine.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Missouri they are one to oh and came in at
- 22:05Speaker 2: number nine. Number eight Penn State at one and O.
- 22:08Speaker 2: Number seven is Oregon at one to O. Number six
- 22:12Speaker 2: is Old miss at one and oh number five, Notre
- 22:15Speaker 2: Dame at one to O. Number four Alabama Roll Tide
- 22:20Speaker 2: came in at one and oh number three, Texas at
- 22:23Speaker 2: one and O number two, Ohio State at number one. Georgia.
- 22:28Speaker 2: All want to know they won their first games, but Michigan,
- 22:35Speaker 2: I love Michigan, but they did not have the greatest
- 22:38Speaker 2: first game. Even though they won. They won thirty to
- 22:41Speaker 2: ten over Fresno State, but it did not. They didn't
- 22:45Speaker 2: make it convincing as national champions. Now granted brand new
- 22:49Speaker 2: head coach, new team, new quarterbacks, new running You know,
- 22:53Speaker 2: their running back was the second stringer last year. Now
- 22:56Speaker 2: he's the first stringer. New receiving corps. I mean, obviously
- 23:00Speaker 2: it's a little different now, but I would like to
- 23:05Speaker 2: see a better showing this week. Now, it's not gonna
- 23:09Speaker 2: be easy at all because Michigan plays Texas. Okay, Texas
- 23:16Speaker 2: is number three, but we can beat them. They're only one. No,
- 23:20Speaker 2: it's very early in the season. I will go over
- 23:24Speaker 2: Michigan's schedule really quick because I am a Wolverine fan.
- 23:27Speaker 2: They're my team, and I never did this last week.
- 23:31Speaker 2: So let's see. Now, they got Texas and the number
- 23:34Speaker 2: three Texas Longhorns at on Saturday at eleven. They've got
- 23:40Speaker 2: next week Arizona State or Arkansas State ar State, so
- 23:45Speaker 2: I guess that's Arkansas. They're unranked. Then the week after that,
- 23:49Speaker 2: September twenty first, it's gonna be Michigan and USC both
- 23:54Speaker 2: ranked right now ten and thirteen. Week after that, September
- 23:57Speaker 2: twenty eighth is going to be Michigan number ten at Minnesota,
- 24:02Speaker 2: who right now is onun ranked. The week after that
- 24:05Speaker 2: is gonna be against Washington on my birthday, October fifth.
- 24:10Speaker 2: That's gonna be a good one. Right now Washington is
- 24:13Speaker 2: un ranked. Then they get a bye week after that,
- 24:16Speaker 2: and then they come back on the nineteenth of October,
- 24:19Speaker 2: they'll play Illinois. That's gonna be a great game, fighting
- 24:22Speaker 2: ALLIONI in Michigan. That's gonna be good. And it's in Illinois,
- 24:26Speaker 2: which is even better, so it's gonna be cool. And
- 24:29Speaker 2: to see that. Week after that, we get Michigan State
- 24:33Speaker 2: on October twenty sixth. November seventh, we get Oregon, who
- 24:36Speaker 2: right now is ranked number seven. Like I said, all
- 24:39Speaker 2: these rankings could change. People could get knocked out, new
- 24:42Speaker 2: people could come in number Let's see November ninth, we
- 24:46Speaker 2: get Indiana. The week after that we get Northwestern in Michigan,
- 24:50Speaker 2: they're both un ranked. And then the final week, biggest
- 24:54Speaker 2: rivalry ever, the last game of the season, it's gonna
- 24:58Speaker 2: be Michigan and Ohio's State on November thirtieth. So great
- 25:03Speaker 2: season of games from Michigan. I can't wait to watch,
- 25:07Speaker 2: hopefully all of them. I'm not always home on Saturday.
- 25:10Speaker 2: I'll have to record some, but I'm excited to see
- 25:12Speaker 2: some of these games. And hopefully Michigan can replay as
- 25:16Speaker 2: national champions and that will be what three in a row,
- 25:19Speaker 2: three peat they just repeated, so that'll be awesome. But
- 25:23Speaker 2: we'll see what happens. So let's go and find out
- 25:26Speaker 2: all the NCAA football games this weekend. Let's give you
- 25:29Speaker 2: a quick let's see NCAA football schedule. Give me one
- 25:40Speaker 2: second to pull everything, all right, so let's see. Here
- 25:43Speaker 2: we go. Now, it was week one. Let's go to
- 25:46Speaker 2: week two. Okay, so there are no games tonight or tomorrow,
- 25:52Speaker 2: Thursday or Friday. They're probably leaving open for the NFL
- 25:55Speaker 2: right now because obviously the NFL they want their game
- 26:00Speaker 2: with no interruptions. So tomorrow or Saturday, we've got Georgia
- 26:05Speaker 2: Tech number twenty three versus unraked Syracuse, Texas number three
- 26:11Speaker 2: at number ten, Michigan, Arkansas unranked at Oklahoma State, who's
- 26:18Speaker 2: number sixteen, number seventeen, Kansas State versus unranked TWU Lane
- 26:24Speaker 2: Bowling Green, who's unranked taking on number eight ranked Penn State.
- 26:31Speaker 2: This is funny. They even put the ranking for Georgia
- 26:34Speaker 2: On here, Tennessee Tech will play against Georgia number one
- 26:39Speaker 2: ranked Georgia on Saturday. Northern Illinois unranked takes on number
- 26:46Speaker 2: five Notre Dame. Baylor unranked takes on number eleven ranked
- 26:50Speaker 2: Utah Jackson State versus number twenty two Louisville. Iowa State
- 26:57Speaker 2: takes on number twenty one Iowa. Tennessee takes on number
- 27:01Speaker 2: six old miss Florida A and M takes on why
- 27:07Speaker 2: is the rank not showing Miami Florida? Who is ranked
- 27:10Speaker 2: but they're not showing? On here? Number nineteen Kansas takes
- 27:13Speaker 2: on the Illinois fighting line I on Saturday night. Also
- 27:18Speaker 2: Saturday night on Ring Buffalo taking out number nine Missouri.
- 27:22Speaker 2: We're gonna go on a Missouri boat ride. Let's see.
- 27:26Speaker 2: South Florida un rank takes on number four Alabama Roll tide.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Gotta say roll tide. After that Number fourteen, Tennessee takes
- 27:35Speaker 2: on number twenty four North Carolina State WM you takes
- 27:41Speaker 2: on the rank number two Ohio State Buckeyes Nichols takes
- 27:47Speaker 2: on LSU Houston versus Oklahoma. The number fifteen ranks. Let's
- 27:53Speaker 2: see Appalachian State takes on number twenty five Clemson, Boise
- 27:59Speaker 2: State takes on number seven Oregon. Northern Arizona takes on
- 28:05Speaker 2: Arizona on Saturday night, and then also another late night game,
- 28:10Speaker 2: Utah State versus thirteen Rings in USC. So those are
- 28:15Speaker 2: all the games for this week. Now, I did notice
- 28:18Speaker 2: week three there's two Friday night games or two Friday
- 28:21Speaker 2: night games next week, so see right now, I think
- 28:24Speaker 2: it's because the NFL. The NFL is what made them
- 28:29Speaker 2: not do any Friday games, because I know NCAA plays
- 28:32Speaker 2: usually a few on Friday, but they know they're not
- 28:35Speaker 2: gonna get the viewers. If the NFL is playing a
- 28:39Speaker 2: big game like in Brazil with Green Bay and Philly,
- 28:43Speaker 2: even it's a first time ever, they're gonna do it.
- 28:45Speaker 2: So that's it and we'll see what happens. I'm not
- 28:50Speaker 2: gonna go Like I said last week, I wasn't picking winners.
- 28:53Speaker 2: There's too many college games to remember, so I'm not
- 28:55Speaker 2: doing that. Bash and Berlin for WWE. Let's go over that.
- 29:00Speaker 2: We only got a few more things left. Oh you
- 29:03Speaker 2: know what, I do want to see something else too
- 29:05Speaker 2: after Bash and Berlin, but let's talk about that. So
- 29:09Speaker 2: here's the results for the Bash of Berlin. This is
- 29:12Speaker 2: what happened. Let's see, all right. So here we go
- 29:21Speaker 2: Cody Rhodes, the undisputed WW champion versus Kevin Owens. Winner
- 29:27Speaker 2: of that match, Cody Rose defeated Owens to retain the title.
- 29:30Speaker 2: They gave that an A grade. It was a great match.
- 29:33Speaker 2: We all knew the outcome was gonna be Cody Rhods.
- 29:35Speaker 2: I think everybody knew he was gonna beat Ko. There
- 29:38Speaker 2: was a couple moments in the match where I thought
- 29:40Speaker 2: they were gonna give it to Ko though. It was
- 29:42Speaker 2: a couple of times and I was like, holy crap.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Here's some top takeaways from bleacher Report on that. The
- 29:51Speaker 2: fans erupted during the pre match there down, which they
- 29:54Speaker 2: did with chance of welcome to Berlin, and in your face.
- 29:58Speaker 2: The electricity was palpable. Was split right down the middle,
- 30:01Speaker 2: with the crowd chatting both competitors' names and support a
- 30:04Speaker 2: both champion and challenger. That was amazing. And that's why
- 30:08Speaker 2: I like once in a while to have two faces
- 30:10Speaker 2: against each other, because the fans love both and you'll
- 30:14Speaker 2: hear some of the crowd cheering for Cody, some for
- 30:16Speaker 2: Kevin Owens. That was great. Here was another one. Either
- 30:19Speaker 2: he's not hurt or nobody's talking about it. Cole set
- 30:22Speaker 2: of Rhodes knee injury, which was Tea's Friday Night on SmackDown.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Let's see neither superstar enjoyed a sustained advantage as not
- 30:31Speaker 2: to build heat and be presented as a heel. It
- 30:34Speaker 2: is a fine line to walk in a match between
- 30:35Speaker 2: two baby faces, yet Owens and Rhodes pulled it off.
- 30:40Speaker 2: WWE Women's tag team titles Jade Cargill and Biaka bel
- 30:44Speaker 2: Air versus on Holy Union the champions and we did
- 30:48Speaker 2: have a title change. Yeah, bell Air and Cargill regain
- 30:55Speaker 2: their titles beating Alba fry Or Fire and Dawn, so
- 31:00Speaker 2: they gave it a be It was worth it. It
- 31:02Speaker 2: was really good cool spot Fire cut off Belair's attempt
- 31:06Speaker 2: at a hot tag by delivering a Tornado DDT that
- 31:09Speaker 2: saw her kick the Storm off the apron in the process.
- 31:13Speaker 2: It was good. Bel Air might be the best worker
- 31:15Speaker 2: in the woman's division today. Her growth since their first
- 31:18Speaker 2: championship victory in twenty twenty one is undeniable, and Fire
- 31:23Speaker 2: repeatedly nursed her left knee. Hopefully she's okay and not injured.
- 31:27Speaker 2: In any significant way. Strap match CM Punk versus Drew
- 31:31Speaker 2: McIntire amazing match from start to finish. I love the
- 31:35Speaker 2: way it ended with CM Punk grabbing the bracelet off
- 31:40Speaker 2: of him and putting it on his back, on his
- 31:43Speaker 2: arm before he tagged the last turnbuckle. It was an
- 31:46Speaker 2: amazing thing. The winner was CM Punky defeated Drew McIntyre.
- 31:54Speaker 2: They gave it a B plus and it says that
- 31:57Speaker 2: it feels like a very much like a rivalry. He
- 32:00Speaker 2: has one more match left in it, and with the
- 32:02Speaker 2: return of Bad Blood in Atlanta on October fifth, perhaps
- 32:05Speaker 2: Helen u Sel is that contest. October fifth, my birthday
- 32:10Speaker 2: is gonna be a pay per view Bad Blood. They're
- 32:12Speaker 2: bringing it back. Thank you Triple H for doing it
- 32:14Speaker 2: on Saturday, October fifth, on my birthday. I will be
- 32:17Speaker 2: home watching that for my birthday this year. It is
- 32:20Speaker 2: gonna be awesome. I hope we do see a hell
- 32:23Speaker 2: in a Cell match between Drew McIntyre and see them Punk.
- 32:26Speaker 2: What a way to end that feud. Drew McIntyre took
- 32:30Speaker 2: match one, see them Punk took match two. It's inevitable
- 32:33Speaker 2: we're gonna get a finale match. You gotta have three
- 32:36Speaker 2: because they split it, so that's gonna be amazing. Takeaway
- 32:40Speaker 2: moments from the match. Cole recalled Punk winning a strap
- 32:43Speaker 2: match against Umaga the same night he cashed in money
- 32:46Speaker 2: in the Bank on Jeff Hardy to win the world
- 32:49Speaker 2: title at Extreme Rules in two thousand and nine, another
- 32:52Speaker 2: great callback from the goat. Commentator McIntyre got the jump
- 32:56Speaker 2: on Punk, this time I attacking him from behind and
- 32:59Speaker 2: before the bell, A nice touch given how often the
- 33:01Speaker 2: tables have been turned into this feud. Punk down McIntire
- 33:05Speaker 2: but refused to touch the turn buckles, determined to punish
- 33:09Speaker 2: the Scott instead of beating him. The commentary team criticized
- 33:13Speaker 2: him for making a similar mistake in his SummerSlam performance.
- 33:17Speaker 2: Clever Spot Punk set up a table, but rather than
- 33:20Speaker 2: waiting to be driven through it, mgan tire rolled in
- 33:23Speaker 2: the ring, forcing his opponent back inside. He rocked the
- 33:27Speaker 2: second City State with a claymore from there Clever Spot too,
- 33:31Speaker 2: Punk cut off McIntire's attempt to win the match by
- 33:34Speaker 2: sliding out of the ring and pulling the strap, driving
- 33:37Speaker 2: the heel face first into a steel chair in the corner,
- 33:41Speaker 2: and then Punk applied the sharpshooter and could neutralize Mgatire
- 33:44Speaker 2: for a moment since there were no rules. My other
- 33:47Speaker 2: favorite spot in that match was when McIntyre had Punk
- 33:50Speaker 2: on his back so that he could slap all the
- 33:53Speaker 2: turn buckles without having to drag him, but at the
- 33:55Speaker 2: same time that he smacked a turn buckle. As he
- 33:58Speaker 2: turned around, Punk smack to back and got Because what
- 34:01Speaker 2: happens is is when you hit the turnbuckle, McIntyre was red,
- 34:07Speaker 2: Punk was green. What happens is every time you slapped
- 34:10Speaker 2: the turnbuckle, it would turn to your color. Once you
- 34:14Speaker 2: got all fourign sequence, the match would be over. So
- 34:18Speaker 2: what McIntyre did was he would touch the turnbuckle a
- 34:22Speaker 2: turn red, but Punk right behind him would hit it
- 34:25Speaker 2: before they walked away, and it turned to green for him.
- 34:29Speaker 2: Had he gotten all the way through around, Punk would
- 34:31Speaker 2: have won that way. That's actually funny see them. Punk
- 34:34Speaker 2: is very smart and I'm sure he's the one that
- 34:36Speaker 2: drew up that. Okay Mixed tag match Ria Ripley and
- 34:40Speaker 2: Damian Priest versus Live Morgan and Dominic Mysterio winners was
- 34:46Speaker 2: Ripley and Priest defeating Mysterio in Morgan a Grade A
- 34:50Speaker 2: top takeaways. The Tear Twins team will make a ton
- 34:53Speaker 2: of money for WBE. Both have the look and the
- 34:56Speaker 2: r needed, and the fans are behind them. Morgan provided
- 35:00Speaker 2: the distraction that allowed Heels to take advantage. It would
- 35:02Speaker 2: not be the first time she took a cheap shot
- 35:04Speaker 2: at the Archer of Infamy, drawing the ear of Ripley,
- 35:08Speaker 2: Cole and the fans. The hot Tager Ripley drew the
- 35:11Speaker 2: biggest reaction of the match and forced Cole to exclaim
- 35:14Speaker 2: oh yeah, before adding, oh, I was supposed to be unbiased.
- 35:19Speaker 2: That's funny Rial Ripley applying a head scissors some mystereo.
- 35:25Speaker 2: This time, the reaction re arrivaled any other of the
- 35:29Speaker 2: entire show to that point. It was a good match.
- 35:32Speaker 2: I liked it. World Heavyweight Championship. The main event was
- 35:35Speaker 2: Randy Orton and Gunther. Great match all the way around.
- 35:41Speaker 2: It was an amazing closing to the show. I think
- 35:43Speaker 2: we all knew that Randy Orton was not gonna win
- 35:47Speaker 2: that title match, but they did tease it a few
- 35:50Speaker 2: times like they did in the other match with Kevin Owens.
- 35:53Speaker 2: But Gunther defeated Randy Orton to retain his title. A
- 35:57Speaker 2: grade A. Here's some takeaways. Bother's pop was great. The
- 36:01Speaker 2: reaction for lou Wig Kaiser and his introduction of the
- 36:04Speaker 2: World Champion was even better. A deafening reaction for the
- 36:07Speaker 2: Ring General that was awesome because bringing them back for
- 36:12Speaker 2: the one night. I mean, it could be for longer
- 36:14Speaker 2: than that, but at least it was for the one night.
- 36:16Speaker 2: That was really cool. Oran's f bomb cell of Gunther's
- 36:20Speaker 2: chops said all it needed about the paid one must
- 36:23Speaker 2: endure anytime they set foot into the squared circle with
- 36:26Speaker 2: the World Champion, the Ring General nursed the nasty Bruce
- 36:30Speaker 2: on his right shoulder, the result of the physicality of
- 36:32Speaker 2: the match. The title holder delivered a power bomb, but
- 36:36Speaker 2: Orton kicked out. A second attempt at the move resulted
- 36:39Speaker 2: in the viper slipping out and delivering the RKO for
- 36:42Speaker 2: a dramatic two count, and then Orton delivered assigned suplex
- 36:46Speaker 2: off the steel steps and through the announced table, putting
- 36:49Speaker 2: Gunther in the greatest peril he faced all match. Overall,
- 36:52Speaker 2: great of the entire show was an a definitely deserved
- 36:55Speaker 2: it outside of WrestleMania. They said this may have been
- 36:58Speaker 2: the best WWE Premium Live e of the year. Rhodes
- 37:01Speaker 2: and Owen set the tone with a fantastic title match
- 37:05Speaker 2: before the woman's tag match exceeded expectations. Punk and McIntyre,
- 37:09Speaker 2: Orton and Gunther brought physicality, and Ripley and Priests thrived
- 37:13Speaker 2: amid the enormous reaction for their win over Mysterio and Morgan.
- 37:17Speaker 2: Everything hit, the pacing of the show was better, and
- 37:20Speaker 2: nothing felt wasted. There are questions about the booking and
- 37:23Speaker 2: how it will affect things in the long term, and
- 37:26Speaker 2: Infinite Infinity is not nearly long enough for the strap
- 37:29Speaker 2: match stipulation to go away. But this was an excellent
- 37:32Speaker 2: show and further proof that secondary premium live events should
- 37:36Speaker 2: stick to smaller cards and compact run times. I like that.
- 37:41Speaker 2: I'm for that. I think that sometimes the WWE used
- 37:45Speaker 2: to go too long on their events when Vince was
- 37:47Speaker 2: in there, and I think that that kind of just
- 37:52Speaker 2: goes out to lie. I think Tony Kahan does the
- 37:55Speaker 2: exact same thing for AW. So pretty soon we'll be
- 37:59Speaker 2: talking about Bad Blood. I'm sure there's gonna be some
- 38:02Speaker 2: matches that are gonna get set up for that, and
- 38:04Speaker 2: we'll find out on October fifth what matches we're gonna
- 38:07Speaker 2: have for that. Let's move on to our entertainment section.
- 38:10Speaker 2: Oh wait, one more thing that I wanted to bring
- 38:13Speaker 2: up in the sports section really quick. We talked NFL
- 38:17Speaker 2: and CUAA and wrestling, but I want to talk about
- 38:19Speaker 2: the Para Olympics that are going on right now. Those
- 38:23Speaker 2: are cool too, and just like everything else, every country's
- 38:26Speaker 2: represented that has people who are paralyzed or people who
- 38:32Speaker 2: are you know, in you know, wheelchairs, can't move whatever.
- 38:36Speaker 2: So let's talk about that and see the metal count
- 38:38Speaker 2: for that, all right, So, just like the regular Olympics,
- 38:41Speaker 2: we're gonna do the top ten countries and what they have.
- 38:45Speaker 2: So number ten is the Netherlands with twenty gold, nine silver,
- 38:50Speaker 2: five bronze for thirty four total. Spain comes in at
- 38:54Speaker 2: number nine, seven gold, ten silver and nineteen bronze for
- 38:58Speaker 2: thirty six. Number eight Australia coming in at fourteen gold,
- 39:03Speaker 2: twelve silver and eighteen bronze a total of forty four. Italy,
- 39:09Speaker 2: my family's home country, has came in number seven with
- 39:13Speaker 2: sixteen gold, eleven silver, and twenty five bronze for a
- 39:17Speaker 2: total of fifty two. A Grazzi, we are very good
- 39:22Speaker 2: with that. Let's see number six the Ukraine fifteen gold medals,
- 39:28Speaker 2: nineteen silver, and then twenty five bronze for a total
- 39:32Speaker 2: of fifty nine. Brazil coming in number five with fifteen gold,
- 39:39Speaker 2: sixteen silver and twenty nine bronze for a total of
- 39:44Speaker 2: sixty the home country of France coming in at number
- 39:49Speaker 2: four with seventeen gold, twenty two silver, and twenty one
- 39:54Speaker 2: bronze for sixty total. Number three the United States. This
- 39:57Speaker 2: is amazing because the United States usually dominates in Olympics,
- 40:02Speaker 2: but in the Para Olympics then it is number three
- 40:06Speaker 2: with twenty seven goals, thirty one silver, fourteen bronze for
- 40:11Speaker 2: seventy two. But I'm proud of the United States for that.
- 40:14Speaker 2: Good job for all the United States. I don't think
- 40:16Speaker 2: it's all over yet. I think it's coming to an
- 40:18Speaker 2: end soon. Number two Great Britain thirty three gold, twenty
- 40:23Speaker 2: seven silver, and nineteen bronze for seventy nine total. Number
- 40:28Speaker 2: one China sixty nine gold, fifty nine silver, thirty four
- 40:33Speaker 2: bronze for a total of one one hundred and fifty
- 40:38Speaker 2: seven medals in the parall Olympics. Para Olympics, of course,
- 40:43Speaker 2: is wheelchairs, prosthetic arms, prosthetic legs, things like that. These
- 40:49Speaker 2: athletes are to me, and I love the American athletes
- 40:54Speaker 2: in the regular Olympics, but to me, these ones they
- 40:57Speaker 2: really really show you that no matter what happens in life,
- 41:03Speaker 2: if you put your mind to something, you can do it.
- 41:05Speaker 2: And they definitely have that in comparison to last one.
- 41:13Speaker 2: In twenty twenty Olympics in Tokyo, China took two hundred
- 41:17Speaker 2: and seven medals that year. They had ninety seven gold,
- 41:20Speaker 2: sixty silver, and fifty one bronze. United States came in
- 41:25Speaker 2: number four that year at the Paralympics with one hundred
- 41:29Speaker 2: and four total medals, and my home country Italy was
- 41:32Speaker 2: number eight with sixty nine total medals that year. So
- 41:36Speaker 2: that is the Para Olympics. Next week we'll talk about
- 41:40Speaker 2: I believe it's ending. Let me see when does it end.
- 41:45Speaker 2: When does the Para Olympics end? Wednesday, August twenty eighth
- 41:57Speaker 2: is when it started, right, yes, so Sunday, September eighth,
- 42:01Speaker 2: So it ends this Sunday. So next week we will
- 42:03Speaker 2: have the final medal count because obviously today Friday, Saturday,
- 42:08Speaker 2: there should be more competitions, more chances of people to
- 42:11Speaker 2: win medals. So next week we'll talk about the finale,
- 42:15Speaker 2: just like we did with the regular Olympics, and we'll
- 42:19Speaker 2: go over who everybody is at the Olympics. Around ten thousand,
- 42:23Speaker 2: five hundred athletes compete in forty eight sports disciplines at
- 42:28Speaker 2: the Paralympics. That's amazing. So there's ten thousand, five hundred
- 42:31Speaker 2: athletes who have a disability that they do not allow
- 42:36Speaker 2: to define who they are, and they go out there
- 42:39Speaker 2: and they play amazing regardless of if they're in wheelchairs
- 42:43Speaker 2: and whether they have fake legs, whether they have a
- 42:46Speaker 2: fake arm, doesn't matter. They do it every single time.
- 42:49Speaker 2: That's amazing. I'm proud of all those athletes from every
- 42:52Speaker 2: country for doing that. There's forty four hundred athletes. Okay,
- 43:00Speaker 2: four hundred for this. The tendred was for the original Olympics,
- 43:07Speaker 2: so yeah, but still forty four hundred. That's a lot
- 43:09Speaker 2: of people. All right, So let's move on. Now, let's see.
- 43:15Speaker 2: Do I have anything else sports related? I don't think so,
- 43:18Speaker 2: so as everybody knows, the big release this week at
- 43:21Speaker 2: the movie theater is going to be Beetlejuice. Beetlejuice, which
- 43:25Speaker 2: stars Michael Keaton as Beetlejuice, when Olda Ryder comes back
- 43:29Speaker 2: as Lydia, Ketherine O'Hara comes back as the Stebbomb, and
- 43:35Speaker 2: then of course Jenna Ortega joins the cast as Lydia's daughter.
- 43:41Speaker 2: So amazing cast. I have a feeling Beetle Juice. Beetlejuice
- 43:45Speaker 2: is gonna break a lot of records this weekend. But
- 43:49Speaker 2: what cappened last weekend? Let's find out what the box
- 43:52Speaker 2: office looked like. Number ten Coraline came in at that
- 43:56Speaker 2: with three point one million at the weekend gross on
- 43:59Speaker 2: her teen million total gross in three weeks. Number nine
- 44:03Speaker 2: was a brand new movie. It was called a Fraid
- 44:06Speaker 2: weekend gross of three point seven million, total gross of
- 44:09Speaker 2: four point nine million in its first week. Number eight
- 44:12Speaker 2: Despicable Me for still coming in and it looks like, yes,
- 44:18Speaker 2: it was kicked out the other one was kicked off
- 44:22Speaker 2: of here finally what was that one? Inside Out two?
- 44:27Speaker 2: I believe here, let me see something for a second. Here,
- 44:30Speaker 2: let me look and see where it fell. Probably number eleven,
- 44:34Speaker 2: eleven or twelve, So let's see. Yeah, Inside Out two
- 44:43Speaker 2: did five hundred and eighty oh no, maybe more something
- 44:48Speaker 2: like that. In Yeah, so it came in number eleven,
- 44:51Speaker 2: so it got kicked out of the top ten, but
- 44:54Speaker 2: we knew that was gonna happen eventually. Number eight, though,
- 44:58Speaker 2: Despicable Me four and it's ninth week of release still
- 45:02Speaker 2: did four point one million last weekend for a total
- 45:05Speaker 2: gross of three hundred and fifty six million. Now you
- 45:07Speaker 2: want to hear something funny. You could already stream it,
- 45:10Speaker 2: but people are still going to the theater to see it.
- 45:12Speaker 2: So that's pretty good. Number seven the Forge and it's
- 45:15Speaker 2: second week it did four point six million at the
- 45:18Speaker 2: box office on the weekend, a total gross of seventeen million.
- 45:23Speaker 2: Blink Twice with Channing Tatum did four point eight million
- 45:28Speaker 2: in a second week, seventeen million total gross. I think
- 45:31Speaker 2: that's going to be a flop at the box office.
- 45:33Speaker 2: After we do this, I'll do really fast. I want
- 45:36Speaker 2: to see where how much it costs to film it.
- 45:39Speaker 2: Number five. Wow, missus Reynolds Blake Lively. Her movie dropped
- 45:46Speaker 2: to number five this week. It ends with us when
- 45:50Speaker 2: seven point four million last weekend, one hundred and thirty
- 45:53Speaker 2: six million total gross in four weeks. Number four, which
- 45:58Speaker 2: knocked it out of that number number four spot. I
- 46:01Speaker 2: think it was number four. Last week, Reagan knocked it out.
- 46:05Speaker 2: The movie about Ronald Reagan Dennis Quaid plays seven point
- 46:11Speaker 2: seven million at the box office in its first week,
- 46:14Speaker 2: twelve million total gross. Not too bad for a movie
- 46:17Speaker 2: about a president. Number three was Twisters. Still my god,
- 46:21Speaker 2: it's still top three weekend gross of seven point seven million,
- 46:25Speaker 2: two hundred and sixty one million at the box office
- 46:28Speaker 2: and seven weeks out. Number two Alien Romulus still in there,
- 46:33Speaker 2: nine point two million for the weekend gross, ninety two
- 46:36Speaker 2: million total gross in three weeks, and still number one,
- 46:40Speaker 2: which I believe is gonna get knocked out to number
- 46:42Speaker 2: two to the movie Beatle Juice Beetlejuice. But Deadpool and
- 46:46Speaker 2: Wolverine still is pulling in number one. I think I
- 46:51Speaker 2: lost number one to Alien Romulus for one week out
- 46:55Speaker 2: of the six weeks it's been out, It's did five
- 46:58Speaker 2: of those six weeks at number one. It still did
- 47:00Speaker 2: fifteen million at the box office last weekend, six hundred
- 47:04Speaker 2: and five total gross million and six weeks out. So
- 47:08Speaker 2: let's look up really fast this blank twice movie and
- 47:12Speaker 2: see so blink twice.
- 47:17Speaker 3: Um.
- 47:19Speaker 2: I'm trying to think.
- 47:25Speaker 3: Total how much did it cost a film?
- 47:36Speaker 2: Let's see if this one gives me a number, let's see.
- 47:43Speaker 2: Hmmmterally telling me it's not really saying how much it
- 47:49Speaker 2: costs to film it. So I mean, if I can
- 47:51Speaker 2: find that cost by next week, I'll let people know.
- 47:54Speaker 2: But I mean, honestly, I only did seventeen million in
- 47:57Speaker 2: two weeks. It's really not that good. Yeah, I don't
- 48:05Speaker 2: see how much did it cost to film Blink twice?
- 48:21Speaker 2: Let's see, Oh, here we go. A budget of twenty million,
- 48:26Speaker 2: so it made seventeen total. So so far, it's if
- 48:31Speaker 2: it does good this weekend, it'll go above what it
- 48:33Speaker 2: costs a film by a couple of million, so they'll
- 48:36Speaker 2: get their money back. It's so a budget of twenty million,
- 48:41Speaker 2: it's so far at seventeen, it should eclipse that by
- 48:47Speaker 2: maybe I'd say maybe twenty million maybe total. Maybe it
- 48:51Speaker 2: might do forty total at the box office, depending on
- 48:54Speaker 2: how long it stays out. So not too bad. I mean,
- 48:58Speaker 2: I don't even know really what the hon't spons to
- 49:00Speaker 2: that movie. It's chanting Tatum, so it'll probably be decent.
- 49:04Speaker 2: He's never really did a bad movie. The twenty one
- 49:06Speaker 2: jump Stream movies were good, Magic Mike films did great.
- 49:10Speaker 2: You know he's a good actor, so I mean, we'll
- 49:13Speaker 2: just see. Yeah, that's crazy, So I don't know, we'll
- 49:20Speaker 2: see what happens. We'll see next week where it's at.
- 49:22Speaker 2: It obviously isn't going to do any better than Beetlejuice.
- 49:25Speaker 2: It's not gonna beat out Deadpool and Wolverine. It most
- 49:28Speaker 2: likely won't even beat out Blake Lively's movie. But we'll
- 49:32Speaker 2: see next week where it goes. But yeah, so I'm
- 49:36Speaker 2: gonna be done for the day. I hope everybody enjoys
- 49:39Speaker 2: the NFL tonight and this weekend. Enjoy this weekend because
- 49:44Speaker 2: we are officially on our road to the fall. The
- 49:48Speaker 2: unofficial summer ends when school goes back at Labor Day
- 49:52Speaker 2: ends and we are past that. Hope everybody enjoy their
- 49:54Speaker 2: Labor Day. Hope everybody enjoys this weekend. Get out a
- 49:58Speaker 2: little bit when there's no football on on Saturday and stuff.
- 50:01Speaker 2: I'll be at Aviva in Lyall, Illinois on Saturday. It's
- 50:05Speaker 2: gonna be Broken Vegas, Seventh Heaven, simple band and just
- 50:13Speaker 2: like Pink, a Pink cover band experience. So a lot
- 50:17Speaker 2: of good music this weekend there and I can't wait.
- 50:20Speaker 2: I'll see everybody Next week we'll talk NFL, we'll talk
- 50:23Speaker 2: more NCUBLEA, we'll talk about the final all of the
- 50:26Speaker 2: Para Olympics, and we'll find out exactly where Beatle Juice
- 50:30Speaker 2: Beatle Juice ended up at the box office. Did it
- 50:33Speaker 2: come in number one or will Deadpool A Wolverine stay
- 50:38Speaker 2: at number one? Next week we'll find out all this
- 50:40Speaker 2: next week and more. Next week, we're also going to
- 50:42Speaker 2: talk about fall TV shows. I'm gonna have a list
- 50:45Speaker 2: of all of them. I was gonna do it this week,
- 50:48Speaker 2: but I wanted to focus more on the sports part
- 50:51Speaker 2: of it today because it's a big sports day. So
- 50:53Speaker 2: next week we'll talk about all the fall previews, what's
- 50:56Speaker 2: coming to what channel and when you can find it.
- 50:58Speaker 2: So we'll talk about all this. But until dad, I
- 51:01Speaker 2: love you all. Stay safe, stay healthy, and don't die. Everybody,
- 51:05Speaker 2: have a great day and a great weekend. This is
- 51:08Speaker 2: the end of our broadcast day.
