- 1:07a little bit of apology and explanation. If you recall back in September of
- 1:15this year, I played an episode that had been labeled The Pitiful Patricide Case
- 1:23from June seventeenth of nineteen fifty two. Well, I when at the time
- 1:29I commented that the title didn't seem to fit the episode. However, that
- 1:37was what it was labeled, and so I kind of moved on from there.
- 1:42But it turns out that that was indeed mislabeled, and this is why
- 1:48the Lineup is such a tough series to collect. I'll go up back and
- 1:53update the show notes that episode was actually bent Lean's Booboo case and that actually
- 2:00fits the story and now ever so hopefully we'll be back in order after this
- 2:07week. After we go back to June the seventeenth, employ the actual story

- 8:43than ten foot range. Oh, LEXI it must have been standing about there
- 8:52the blast knocked him clear back over there, screens on those windows all shattered.
- 8:58Whoever did it had to step on to get up these steps. That's
- 9:01where it was. Yeah, twelve gage country. Okay, who went to
- 9:09the call at forty six and seventy two? I want the reports tonight.
- 9:13Doc won't take long on this one, Okay, we'll reported it. A
- 9:16oh man next door, Robert Presnell says, Brown's wife at the movies with

- 9:58you can help us a lot, mister Presno, by telling us everything you
- 10:01know, everything you can remember. Oh. I didn't think it was anything
- 10:05until I smelled the turpentine. Well, how's that mister Presner, I was
- 10:09sitting in my living room listening to the ballgame. I heard a noise,
- 10:13like an explosion. It was kind of muffled, and I didn't think anything
- 10:18about it until I smelled that turpentine, and I thought that maybe that some
- 10:22stuff I had downstairs it exploded to something in the heat, you know.
- 10:26Yeah, But everything was okay down there, and when I went outside,
- 10:31I could tell it was coming from Arrow's house, and then I smelled gun
- 10:35potty. Al didn't answer the door when I knocked, and so I walked
- 10:39around to the back of the place. Uh, there was a light on
- 10:43in the kitchen, and I was pretty sure he was home. And then
- 10:46I saw there was a light on down the basement. Well, I knocked
- 10:50on the screen a couple of times, and then I called and no one
- 10:54answered me. So I looked down the stairs and I saw his leg at
- 11:01the bottom of steo. I went down. Then I came back and I
- 11:07phoned the police. Where's mister Brown? Then, well, sure he was.
- 11:11Did you examine him? Oh? No, no, no, but
- 11:13but I could tell just just the way you won. How about a smoke?
- 11:18No, no, no, thank you. I don't use but tell
- 11:22me anybody besides you in your house tonight, mister Presnow, no, no,
- 11:28I was alone. You were alone in your house and mister Brown was
- 11:31alone in this house. Is that it? Your wife went to the movies
- 11:35with missus Brown. Yes, yes, that's it. Do you know what
- 11:39time they left? When? It was eight or eight thirty? I'm not
- 11:43sure? But now think back before you heard the sound of explosion, did
- 11:50you hear voices? No car? Maybe? No? No? Nothing?
- 11:56Or what about after one? No? Another thing? It's it's very quiet,
- 12:00neighborhood. Have your set on loud? Did you well? It was
- 12:03a ball game, you know? Is uh? Is that mister Brown's car
- 12:09in the driveway? Oh you mean a little Chevy and no, that's that's

- 27:25he had to stop it. He said I should mind my own business.
- 27:27That I didn't understand. Then he slapped me. I went down to the
- 27:33basement. I don't know why we were in the kitchen, and I guess
- 27:37it was the closest place to run to. He followed me down. He
- 27:44came for me. Did he attack you? Bobby tried to hurt you.
- 27:48He tried to put his arms around me and make up. He wanted to
