  Don't play the fool, you've probably heard someone say.
• 0:14
  Don't be that guy. You know the type, the one who's
• 0:17
  always stirring something up, twisting words, playing games,
• 0:20
  and somehow thinking it's funny or harmless.
• 0:23
  In real life, that kind of behavior might even get rewarded
• 0:26
  for a while. People might laugh, follow, or
• 0:29
  hype it up, but God sees past the act, and Proverbs chapter 6
• 0:33
  doesn't sugarcoat it. Proverbs chapter 6, verses 12 to
• 0:37
  15, describes a person who uses crooked speech, subtle signals,
• 0:41
  and hidden intentions to stir up trouble.
• 0:44
  This isn't someone who makes an honest mistake.
• 0:47
  This is someone who lives with a divided heart, constantly sowing
• 0:50
  discord and assuming there will be no consequences.
• 0:54
  And then Scripture gives a warning.
• 0:55
  Calamity comes suddenly, not slowly, not eventually suddenly.

  Foolish living always catches up, even when it looks clever at
• 1:03
  1st. Psalm 10, verse 13 exposes the
• 1:06
  mindset behind that kind of behavior.
• 1:09
  It says, why does the wicked renounce God and say in his
• 1:12
  heart, you will not call to account?
• 1:14
  That's the lie at the center of foolishness, the belief that God
• 1:17
  doesn't see, doesn't care, or won't respond.
• 1:20
  But silence from God is not the same as absence.
• 1:23
  God is patient, but He is not blind.
• 1:26
  He sees the motives behind the words, the intentions behind the
• 1:29
  actions, and the pride hiding behind the performance.
• 1:33
  Then Matthew chapter 19 flips the whole picture.
• 1:36
  While the disciples try to push children away, Jesus does the
• 1:39
  opposite. He says, let the little children
• 1:42
  come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the
• 1:45
  Kingdom of heaven. Children don't come with masks.
• 1:49
  They don't come with schemes. They come honest, dependent, and
• 1:51
  open. And Jesus says that's the
• 1:53
  posture that belongs in God's Kingdom.
• 1:56
  Here's the contrast. Foolishness says I can get away
• 1:59
  with this. Wisdom says, God, I want to walk
• 2:01
  close to you. Foolishness hides behind
• 2:04
  sarcasm, manipulation, and drama.
• 2:07
  Wisdom chooses truth, humility, and peace, even when that path
• 2:10
  doesn't get applause. God isn't impressed by how slick
• 2:13
  you sound or how well you can play the game.
• 2:16
  He's drawn to a heart that's real.
• 2:18
  In a world that celebrates being savage, shady, or self
• 2:21
  protective, choosing wisdom can feel countercultural.
• 2:25
  But staying close to Jesus requires honesty.
• 2:28
  It requires humility. It requires refusing to stir
• 2:31
  what God wants to heal. Don't play the fool by trading
• 2:34
  character for attention. Walk in wisdom.
• 2:37
  Walk in truth. Stay close to Jesus and let your
• 2:40
  life reflect Him. Let's pray.

  Heavenly Father, search my heart and show me anything that pulls
• 2:46
  me toward foolishness instead of wisdom.
• 2:48
  Help me turn away from dishonesty, pride, and drama and
• 2:52
  teach me to walk with a humble, honest heart.

  I want the kind of faith that draws me closer to Jesus and

  reflects Your love to others. Shape my words, my actions and

  my motives so they honor You in Jesus name, Amen.

  They collapse, They fall under his strength.

  He says in his heart, God has forgotten.

  Why does the wicked person condemn God and say in his

  heart, God won't call me into account, but you do see trouble

  and grief, you consider it to take it into your hand.

  made themselves eunuchs for the Kingdom.

  Of heaven's sake, he who is able to receive it, let him receive

  it. Then little children were

  brought to him, that he should lay his hands on them and pray.

  And the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, Allow the little

  children, and don't forbid them to come to me, for the Kingdom

  of heaven belongs to ones like these.

  He laid his hands on them and departed from there.

  Behold, one came to him and said, Good teacher, what good

  thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?

  He said to him, Why do you call me good?

  No one is good but one. That is God.

  But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.

  He said to him, Which ones? Jesus said, You shall not

  murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal,

  you shall not offer false testimony.

  Honor your Father and your mother, and you shall love your

  neighbor as yourself. The young man said to him, All

  these things I have observed from my youth, what do I still

  lack? Jesus said to him, If you want

  to be perfect, go sell what you have and give to the poor, and
• 8:53
  you will have treasure in heaven, and come follow me.

  But when the young man heard this, he went away sad, for he
• 8:59
  was one who had great possessions.

  Jesus said to his disciples, Most certainly, I say to you, a
• 9:05
  rich man will enter into the Kingdom of heaven with
• 9:07
  difficulty. Again, I tell you, it is easier
• 9:10
  for a camel to go through a needle's eye than for a rich man
• 9:13
  to enter into God's Kingdom. When the disciples heard it,
• 9:16
  they were exceedingly astonished, saying, Who then can
• 9:19
  be saved? Looking at them, Jesus said,
• 9:21
  With men this is impossible, but with God all things are
• 9:24
  possible. Then Peter answered, Behold, we
• 9:27
  have left everything and followed you.
• 9:30
  What then will we have? Jesus said to them?
• 9:32
  Most certainly. I tell you that you who have
• 9:34
  followed me in the regeneration, when the Son of Man will sit on
• 9:38
  the throne of his glory, you also will sit on 12 Thrones
• 9:41
  judging the 12 tribes of Israel. Everyone who has left houses or
• 9:45
  brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or
• 9:49
  lands, for my name's sake, will receive 100 times and will
• 9:53
  inherit eternal life. But many will be last.
• 9:56
