- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the almost famous podcast with iHeartRadio. Hi, everybody,
- 0:04Speaker 1: welcome to the almost famous OG podcast with me and
- 0:07Speaker 1: my husband. We just went from Colorado to Los Angeles
- 0:12Speaker 1: and we decided to have a chat not at home,
- 0:15Speaker 1: because why not.
- 0:17Speaker 2: I didn't even know who were having this chat.
- 0:20Speaker 3: So what are we supposed to talk about?
- 0:26Speaker 1: We can talk about anything, really, I mean, this is
- 0:31Speaker 1: my podcast, so but I think just life in general.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Let's just give give the people a little glimpse into
- 0:38Speaker 1: life lately and what's going on with us. So thanks
- 0:43Speaker 1: for coming on the podcast.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Sure I didn't have a choice, you did not, but
- 0:50Speaker 2: you're anyway.
- 0:51Speaker 1: That's actually true. So we're here for the iHeart Radio
- 0:56Speaker 1: music words. And I know I'm really excited, but we
- 1:00Speaker 1: have a member of the family who is also probably
- 1:04Speaker 1: way more excited than me, and that is our daughter Blakesley.
- 1:08Speaker 1: She is so she's so excited, babe. We were in
- 1:12Speaker 1: the car, so Blakesley and I for everybody listening, Blakesley
- 1:15Speaker 1: and I flew out to Los Angeles last night and
- 1:17Speaker 1: Ryan flewent today because he was working. And I was like, Okay,
- 1:22Speaker 1: Blake's look up, who is performing or who's going to
- 1:25Speaker 1: be there or whatever, and she looked up everybody and
- 1:30Speaker 1: she was like and Kelsey Ballerini And I was like,
- 1:34Speaker 1: do you know what that means? And she's like no,
- 1:37Speaker 1: And I go, do you know who Kelsey Ballerina Ballerina
- 1:40Speaker 1: is dating? And she was like no, And I go,
- 1:45Speaker 1: do you know John B And She's like what outer ranks?
- 1:52Speaker 1: You know how obsessed she has been with that show?
- 1:55Speaker 1: She was freaking out that he might be there. I mean,
- 2:01Speaker 1: this is like for a teenage girl. So our daughter
- 2:04Speaker 1: is fifteen, almost sixteen, almost sixteen. It's crazy. She turns
- 2:12Speaker 1: sixteen in gosh, what is it like two weeks now.
- 2:16Speaker 2: I don't even know what today is somewhere around there.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like two weeks away.
- 2:22Speaker 1: That makes me happy and so sad at the same time. Anyway,
- 2:26Speaker 1: so teenage girl dreams like this event. I'm so grateful
- 2:32Speaker 1: for just because she is living out her best life dreams.
- 2:37Speaker 3: You know, I think she's really excited.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Yeah, it's so fun. I wish that Max could have
- 2:42Speaker 1: been here, but he's got some hockey obligations so he
- 2:46Speaker 1: couldn't be here. But to walk a red carpet and
- 2:49Speaker 1: get glammed, and you know, see people that she kind
- 2:54Speaker 1: of idolizes like Taylor Swift maybe and oh gosh, Eilish,
- 3:00Speaker 1: she was obsessed with Billie Eila Eilish, you know a
- 3:03Speaker 1: few years back. Anyway, I'm really excited to be here.
- 3:07Speaker 1: You're feeling okay, you're feeling good about it.
- 3:09Speaker 2: I know it's not really I wouldn't go with I'm
- 3:11Speaker 2: really excited to be here, but I.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Think it's finn.
- 3:15Speaker 2: I mean, I'm actually more excited to see Blake Slee
- 3:20Speaker 2: and you know, have this opportunity for her. Wait, like,
- 3:23Speaker 2: we used to do this kind of stuff a lot
- 3:27Speaker 2: and haven't for for a long time, especially since the
- 3:31Speaker 2: kids have been old enough to kind of appreciate what
- 3:34Speaker 2: it was and to be sort of into pop culture,
- 3:36Speaker 2: and and for her to have this opportunity and you know,
- 3:41Speaker 2: to get, like you said, do get to see the
- 3:42Speaker 2: people that she really looks up to and listens to
- 3:44Speaker 2: and that sort of stuff is pretty cool. I don't
- 3:47Speaker 2: think I don't think Max would have gotten the same
- 3:50Speaker 2: experience out of it. He I think he's probably more
- 3:54Speaker 2: like sort of hedges more in my direction when it
- 3:57Speaker 2: comes to that sort of stuff, But it is it
- 4:02Speaker 2: would be fun for him into music. I think he's
- 4:04Speaker 2: just less into like the show.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Totally, the red carpet stuff. Yeah, for sure, I agree. Yeah, No,
- 4:11Speaker 1: I think it'll be fun. And I mean Kenny Chesney's
- 4:13Speaker 1: performing like it's like a It's like, you know, when
- 4:16Speaker 1: we've been to other award shows in the past, it's
- 4:20Speaker 1: like a big concert.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Yeah, of all the things that we used to do,
- 4:23Speaker 2: I think the award shows were probably yeah, up there
- 4:25Speaker 2: with with my favorite, just because of that. You get
- 4:28Speaker 2: such a wide variety of performers, and you get to
- 4:32Speaker 2: see people in person and see kind of sometimes get
- 4:35Speaker 2: to meet him and see how they are and yeah,
- 4:38Speaker 2: and that's always kind of fun too.
- 4:39Speaker 1: So Yeah, I'm glad you're here.
- 4:42Speaker 3: I'm glad I'm here too.
- 4:45Speaker 1: So and then afterwards we talked about Blakesley turning sixteen, which,
- 4:48Speaker 1: you know, it makes me sad just because I feel
- 4:52Speaker 1: like I saw someone someone, you know, my brain does
- 4:57Speaker 1: not work that well these days people. So someone was
- 5:01Speaker 1: talking about why would you be sad, like with your
- 5:03Speaker 1: kids growing up, and I'm like, it's just like I
- 5:06Speaker 1: miss the baby days with all with any milestone, it's
- 5:11Speaker 1: just one more step for her, like leaving the nest.
- 5:15Speaker 1: In my mind, so you know, it's it's a happy
- 5:20Speaker 1: thing for her to turn sixteen, and I'm really excited
- 5:23Speaker 1: for her because she's very excited to drive and have
- 5:26Speaker 1: that independence. But it also like breaks my little mama's
- 5:30Speaker 1: heart that she's getting older and closer to leaving me, not.
- 5:37Speaker 3: You, she's just no, I know.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Hopefully, I mean hopefully they'll both find their footing in
- 5:42Speaker 2: life and be able to have successful, fun lives with
- 5:48Speaker 2: families that we'll get to enjoy that phase of two.
- 5:51Speaker 3: So, yeah, I agree.
- 5:54Speaker 2: I think as the kids were growing up, I always thought,
- 5:57Speaker 2: you know, I think every little phase of life, I
- 5:59Speaker 2: was always kind of like, I wish they could just
- 6:00Speaker 2: stay in this phase of life and then they would
- 6:03Speaker 2: progress to the next phase of life, and I would
- 6:05Speaker 2: say the same thing and on and on and so
- 6:07Speaker 2: I think that's going to continue to be the case.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Where we're we'll just appreciate all of the all of
- 6:14Speaker 2: the milestones and all of the steps, and and what
- 6:19Speaker 2: will be really strange is if they're if they're both
- 6:23Speaker 2: off in college, or like if our house is empty.
- 6:27Speaker 3: I know that will be.
- 6:29Speaker 2: An adjustment, but yeah, that's still a ways often. So
- 6:33Speaker 2: I think that you know, having moments like this with Blakesley,
- 6:36Speaker 2: and you know, when I got to go to North
- 6:39Speaker 2: Dakota and watch Max play hockey and those sorts of things.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Those are sort of the bigger things, but even just
- 6:45Speaker 2: the day to day interactions and stuff, just trying to
- 6:48Speaker 2: appreciate those more.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Yeah, totally.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Yeah, It's it's interesting because people always ask, I mean,
- 6:55Speaker 2: it's kind of a superficial question these days, but just
- 6:57Speaker 2: like what's new. I'll see, like I'll work with somebody
- 7:00Speaker 2: I haven't worked with for a while or something, and
- 7:01Speaker 2: they'll always ask what's new, And there's really not anything,
- 7:06Speaker 2: you know, momentous or monumental or anything giant, but it's
- 7:12Speaker 2: just a lot of little things in this phase of life.
- 7:16Speaker 3: I think I'm.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Trying to do a better job of appreciating because I
- 7:20Speaker 2: do kind of see the sort of writing off into
- 7:23Speaker 2: the sunset part of it. And you know, like fifty
- 7:27Speaker 2: years old, you're like closer to one hundred than zero now,
- 7:31Speaker 2: and that's not Sometimes that awakens something and you just say, like, well,
- 7:36Speaker 2: let's make sure that we appreciate these days and stuff.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I like that you said closer to one hundred.
- 7:44Speaker 1: That means you're thinking that a hundred will be your number.
- 7:47Speaker 1: So that's good. Stick around for a while, please, I
- 7:51Speaker 1: don't know.
- 7:51Speaker 3: I don't know if I'll make a hundred.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know if I would want to live
- 7:56Speaker 1: that old. Like, you know, if I'm in pain already.
- 8:01Speaker 2: I imagine how I'm.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Going to feel what I'm one hundred.
- 8:06Speaker 2: You know, well, just imagine this is totally off topic.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Fifty fifty years ago. Yeh, so what is that nineteen
- 8:15Speaker 2: seventy five, and.
- 8:16Speaker 1: I don't know, you're better in mass seventy well when
- 8:19Speaker 1: we were born nineteen seventy four.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Yeah, so.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, I mean that would be easy with figured
- 8:25Speaker 2: it out, like like with the world, like it was
- 8:32Speaker 2: so much different right, like barely there were I don't
- 8:36Speaker 2: even think that those little Apple to e computers were
- 8:39Speaker 2: out yet. There was no like it was all televisions
- 8:44Speaker 2: were giant boxes with like ears sticking out like you said, telegraphs.
- 8:48Speaker 1: No, I'm just kidding.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Everything is so different. And then in another fifty years,
- 8:55Speaker 2: I mean, who knows.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Maybe we will be one hundred years alone.
- 8:58Speaker 1: We know, maybe the world will or.
- 9:01Speaker 3: Maybe the world that way we go, Yeah, we'll prefer
- 9:03Speaker 3: to think of.
- 9:04Speaker 1: It that's to be positive. Yes, uh huh, in hopes
- 9:08Speaker 1: that we actually can become grandparents and enjoy that part
- 9:12Speaker 1: of life too. No rush there by the way, Blake's lean, Max,
- 9:15Speaker 1: if you're listening, they are, Yeah, So I don't know
- 9:20Speaker 1: if I interrupted you and if you had more to
- 9:21Speaker 1: that thought.
- 9:22Speaker 2: No, that was just a brief like wonder if like
- 9:26Speaker 2: you know what, because that will be well, let's just
- 9:29Speaker 2: say when Max and blakes here are fifty years old
- 9:31Speaker 2: and we're grandparents, hopefully, yeah, what will the world be
- 9:35Speaker 2: like for our grandparents? Hopefully hopefully we as a human
- 9:40Speaker 2: population figure it out and we can kind of start to,
- 9:43Speaker 2: oh make things good, yeah for everybody, but know that
- 9:48Speaker 2: they're bad now, but no better.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Yeah, No, life is good. During this trip, we decide
- 10:05Speaker 1: I decided that because Blakesley and I were going to
- 10:08Speaker 1: be here, you have to go back to work, obviously,
- 10:10Speaker 1: but since Blakesley and I were going to be here,
- 10:12Speaker 1: that we would go look at some colleges, which is
- 10:17Speaker 1: a whole other thing, like just envisioning her being in college,
- 10:23Speaker 1: you know, or and not necessarily college, just being on
- 10:28Speaker 1: her own, you know, not living in our home, which
- 10:32Speaker 1: she's always welcome to come back to as is Max.
- 10:34Speaker 1: But I it's it's kind of a little shock to
- 10:40Speaker 1: the system. I'm not going to lie. Yeah, trying to
- 10:44Speaker 1: take advantage of it and really enjoy it. Rented a
- 10:48Speaker 1: convertible because when we were in LA the last time
- 10:53Speaker 1: and Blakesley and I rented a convertible, it was I
- 10:55Speaker 1: feel like a core memory, you know, like just blasting
- 10:59Speaker 1: the music and down, you know. I don't think we
- 11:03Speaker 1: were on the PCH but just cruising around LA. So
- 11:07Speaker 1: we did that again, and we're going to go visit
- 11:10Speaker 1: some colleges. I wish you could be there, But it's
- 11:14Speaker 1: it's a little shock to the system, and it's kind
- 11:17Speaker 1: of bittersweet, like it'll be exciting to share that with her,
- 11:20Speaker 1: but at the same time thinking about my baby.
- 11:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:26Speaker 2: I mean, hopefully they can figure out sort of what
- 11:30Speaker 2: they want to do, which I think is kind of
- 11:32Speaker 2: a weird thing to ask a sixteen year old or
- 11:36Speaker 2: I had no idea what I wanted to do when
- 11:39Speaker 2: I was seventeen years old, And I'm not sure you're
- 11:41Speaker 2: supposed to know, unless like there are those rare people
- 11:44Speaker 2: who like some of them will prop I see today
- 11:46Speaker 2: that just like knew they wanted to be musicians, and
- 11:48Speaker 2: so that's what they just strove for their entire lives.
- 11:51Speaker 2: But I think the majority of people are still on
- 11:55Speaker 2: a exploratory mission as they graduate high school and go
- 11:59Speaker 2: to college, and you know, deciding on which college to
- 12:03Speaker 2: go to is part of that. And so I think
- 12:05Speaker 2: Blakesley tends to to want to go somewhere more.
- 12:11Speaker 3: Beachy, like the West Coast.
- 12:13Speaker 2: I could I couldn't imagine Max wanting anything to do
- 12:17Speaker 2: with the Los Angeles area, but he did.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Say at home, because we were talking like what we
- 12:22Speaker 1: were going to do, and he said, yeah, I don't
- 12:24Speaker 1: think California is you know for me. Actually I think
- 12:27Speaker 1: you were in the kitchen when we said that. Yeah.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Yeah, so, but I think you guys will have a
- 12:32Speaker 2: good time and hopefully she'll see something at one of
- 12:37Speaker 2: these places that that sort of sparks her interest and
- 12:40Speaker 2: at least gets her thinking in that direction. It's hard,
- 12:44Speaker 2: you know, Like with the move to Denver, I think
- 12:45Speaker 2: that was part like partly intentional as a way to
- 12:49Speaker 2: sort of start to build a foundation for our kids
- 12:52Speaker 2: so that they could we could do as much as
- 12:54Speaker 2: we could to set them up to be successful adults.
- 12:57Speaker 2: This is just a continuation of that. That's the That's
- 13:01Speaker 2: definitely the phase of life that I feel like I'm in,
- 13:03Speaker 2: that we're in is it's more it's less a selfish phase,
- 13:07Speaker 2: so you know, less of these types of my heart
- 13:11Speaker 2: radio events and.
- 13:12Speaker 3: That sort of stuff that just you and I go to.
- 13:14Speaker 2: That we're incorporating our kids into our lives and we're
- 13:17Speaker 2: trying to build them as best we can and prepare
- 13:22Speaker 2: them as best we can for for that time when
- 13:25Speaker 2: they do step out the door, leave the nest, and
- 13:30Speaker 2: and then you know, then you can kind of circle
- 13:32Speaker 2: back and we can, you know, refocus our attention in
- 13:35Speaker 2: other places.
- 13:36Speaker 3: Hopefully hopefully we will give it.
- 13:39Speaker 2: You have given them enough to be self sustaining.
- 13:42Speaker 3: But but like you said.
- 13:44Speaker 2: I don't think parenting ever ends. And you know, I
- 13:45Speaker 2: mean clearly, we live super close to my parents, and
- 13:50Speaker 2: I feel like my mom and dad are always helping
- 13:53Speaker 2: out and checking.
- 13:56Speaker 3: Up on us.
- 13:56Speaker 2: And you know, my mom always says that she just
- 13:59Speaker 2: never never stops worrying about me or my brother. And
- 14:03Speaker 2: so it doesn't matter what period of life you're in,
- 14:09Speaker 2: you know, you're always gonna love and care for and
- 14:11Speaker 2: want the best for your kids.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Always I recently, I don't know if I told you this,
- 14:17Speaker 1: but so you know how they're always on Snapchat. I've decided,
- 14:22Speaker 1: like they snap their friends constantly, yeah, or boyfriends or
- 14:26Speaker 1: girlfriends or whatever, and I'm like, I need to do
- 14:30Speaker 1: that with them so that they'll like so we can
- 14:33Speaker 1: continue this interaction. So maybe you don't, I know, you
- 14:36Speaker 1: don't have it on your phone, but maybe you set
- 14:39Speaker 1: up an account so that like just just even snapping
- 14:43Speaker 1: like pictures. That's kind of like so my mom and
- 14:46Speaker 1: I as you know, but you know, people listening. In
- 14:51Speaker 1: order for me to stay connected to my mom who's
- 14:53Speaker 1: in Indiana, we like send each other. We play wordle
- 14:56Speaker 1: every morning, you know, and we send each other like
- 14:59Speaker 1: our results from Mortal. Just I need to know that
- 15:02Speaker 1: she's okay, Like every morning. I want to make sure
- 15:05Speaker 1: that she's okay. She lives alone, you know, I want
- 15:07Speaker 1: to make sure she's okay. And I'm feeling that way
- 15:10Speaker 1: about the kids, Like I want to create some kind
- 15:13Speaker 1: of habitual thing where we stay connected. So I don't
- 15:18Speaker 1: know if there's something that you would want to do too,
- 15:20Speaker 1: or if you want to join me in the snapchat thing, but.
- 15:24Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I guess I.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Know you hate it, and I don't hate it.
- 15:29Speaker 3: I just don't know that I need another thing.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Yeah, true, but none of us do. None of us do.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Yeah, it's hard enough to just check my regular text
- 15:38Speaker 2: emails that I have, like now I looked at so
- 15:42Speaker 2: I know, adding another form of communication isn't.
- 15:46Speaker 3: True top priority.
- 15:47Speaker 2: But yeah, and plus, you know, I think there are
- 15:50Speaker 2: certain things that are just theirs, you know. Yeah, I
- 15:53Speaker 2: think Chat's kind of theirs that was developed for more
- 15:58Speaker 2: of their generation than ours. And so yeah, I mean
- 16:01Speaker 2: we we got married. I think it was like my.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Space for sure.
- 16:07Speaker 3: And now there's no MySpace.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Oh wait, what was it?
- 16:10Speaker 3: It was?
- 16:12Speaker 1: Well Twitter had had Twitter. No, Twitter hadn't even started.
- 16:15Speaker 2: It was MySpace and chat rooms.
- 16:17Speaker 3: And stuff, but the message boards right, there was nothing.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Really, there's no Twitter, no Instagram, no Facebook.
- 16:25Speaker 1: No, none of that. No, those kids weren't even in
- 16:28Speaker 1: college yet. Those Facebook guys, they were not They were
- 16:35Speaker 1: still in the moon. No. Maybe I know that this
- 16:50Speaker 1: is a question that we always get asked, but I
- 16:53Speaker 1: just wanted you to give everyone kind of an update
- 16:57Speaker 1: on how you're.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Feeling, like an actual update or just what I tell.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Everybody, an actual update. Would be lovely fine.
- 17:06Speaker 3: I feel fine. I feel fine basically.
- 17:11Speaker 1: I mean that the actual update, because that's what you
- 17:13Speaker 1: tell everybody.
- 17:15Speaker 2: I think. I think there's just a new definition of
- 17:20Speaker 2: fine that isn't maybe as as like, I don't know
- 17:26Speaker 2: what the word would be, the descriptive word like, it's
- 17:28Speaker 2: not as great as maybe fine was ten years ago.
- 17:31Speaker 2: But there's nothing like in my life that's preventing me
- 17:36Speaker 2: from doing really anything that I want to do in.
- 17:39Speaker 1: My life because you don't let it.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Well, maybe, I think, and I think honestly, I think
- 17:47Speaker 2: age plays a large factor into a lot of decisions now.
- 17:50Speaker 2: It's less so than any kind of or more so
- 17:53Speaker 2: than any kind of health concerns or anything like that.
- 17:57Speaker 3: So I don't know.
- 17:59Speaker 2: I mean, it's it's a tough adjustment when mentally you
- 18:04Speaker 2: want to be in or feel like you're in one place,
- 18:06Speaker 2: and then physically sometimes you're reminded that you're not in
- 18:10Speaker 2: that same place, and so just trying to find a
- 18:13Speaker 2: balance there and still live a productive, fun, enjoyable life
- 18:20Speaker 2: is the challenge that I face.
- 18:23Speaker 3: But certainly a lot.
- 18:26Speaker 2: I'm a lot better than I was four years ago,
- 18:31Speaker 2: I would say, but probably not.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Fourteen years ago, but I was thirty six.
- 18:39Speaker 1: I was just gonna say, I think that's all of us.
- 18:42Speaker 3: It is what it is like.
- 18:43Speaker 2: That question is hard to answer, And I think the
- 18:45Speaker 2: hardest part about that is when people ask me what
- 18:50Speaker 2: they can do when they're not feeling good, and when
- 18:53Speaker 2: they understand kind of what I went through health wise,
- 18:57Speaker 2: which is I'm assuming what you were referring to, and
- 19:03Speaker 2: they're also going through something similar, And the hardest part
- 19:07Speaker 2: for me is to say that I feel fine, but
- 19:10Speaker 2: not really be able to explain how to find that
- 19:14Speaker 2: for them, because I think it's such a personal journey
- 19:20Speaker 2: and effort, and a lot of it just depends on
- 19:22Speaker 2: what you're willing to go through and what works for
- 19:26Speaker 2: you and what like. It's a very complicated subject, I think,
- 19:30Speaker 2: and I really feel for people that are suffering through
- 19:33Speaker 2: things like chronic illnesses and things like that that there
- 19:37Speaker 2: really isn't a lot of attention given to or there's
- 19:42Speaker 2: not a lot of remedies offered, and so you're just
- 19:46Speaker 2: kind of, you know, throwing darts and hoping that some
- 19:50Speaker 2: of them happen to hit and and I think for
- 19:54Speaker 2: luckily for me, several of them have hit and that's
- 19:56Speaker 2: reduced the impact that's had on me personally. Unfortunately, I
- 20:01Speaker 2: don't know how to translate that for everybody, And so
- 20:06Speaker 2: that's that's probably the biggest frustration for me, is just
- 20:10Speaker 2: now the understanding of what that feels like and what
- 20:13Speaker 2: people are going through and how frustrating and debilitating that
- 20:16Speaker 2: can be.
- 20:17Speaker 3: And then to.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Top it all off, to not have any real legitimate hope.
- 20:23Speaker 2: I mean, you can always have hope, but there's just
- 20:26Speaker 2: sometimes it's hard to find it when you you just
- 20:29Speaker 2: can't see alight at the end of the tunnel.
- 20:31Speaker 1: So yeah, and you feel like that. Yeah, And I
- 20:34Speaker 1: think what I feel like a lot of people don't
- 20:38Speaker 1: understand is that lime, for whatever reason, is different for everybody.
- 20:44Speaker 1: So like you know, you say, oh, well I have
- 20:48Speaker 1: a cold, so I'm coughing and I'm sneezing, and you know,
- 20:51Speaker 1: I've got congestion. That's kind of across the board what
- 20:56Speaker 1: people experience, no matter your national or gender or you
- 21:01Speaker 1: know what I mean. And lime is different for everyone
- 21:06Speaker 1: because it attacked whatever wherever it's attacking in your body,
- 21:10Speaker 1: that's what your symptoms are going to show, right, So
- 21:14Speaker 1: it's different for everybody. And I think The hard thing
- 21:18Speaker 1: is that you know your path. Your your path with
- 21:23Speaker 1: lime disease has been it's all individual. It's very very personal, personalized.
- 21:31Speaker 1: I don't what's the word, do you know what I mean? Like,
- 21:35Speaker 1: it's it's unique to everybody. And I think that's really
- 21:40Speaker 1: hard because a lot of people ask you for you know,
- 21:43Speaker 1: your help in like how you've found some success in
- 21:51Speaker 1: feeling better. And it's hard because I feel like everyone
- 21:56Speaker 1: that you talk to who has dealt with lime has
- 21:59Speaker 1: a different path. So it's not like you can't take
- 22:03Speaker 1: this one medicine and find a cure. I don't know.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Yeah, there's just not very much known about it, and
- 22:09Speaker 2: I think it can bring out other conditions and things
- 22:16Speaker 2: like that that you have to deal with and so
- 22:18Speaker 2: but anyways, I don't want to go down like a
- 22:21Speaker 2: Debbie Downer path life. Life for me is great and
- 22:29Speaker 2: I think life in general is great, and so hopefully,
- 22:33Speaker 2: hopefully that could be the message is that there is
- 22:35Speaker 2: like I can be an example of someone who has
- 22:38Speaker 2: dealt with it and has come out the other end
- 22:40Speaker 2: for the most part, and I probably will always be
- 22:42Speaker 2: dealing with some component of it, but it definitely doesn't
- 22:46Speaker 2: impact me in any negative sort of way. I'm able
- 22:49Speaker 2: to come here, I'm able to work, I'm able to
- 22:52Speaker 2: enjoy the kids, like you know, take the dog for
- 22:55Speaker 2: walks and like like really doing just about everything I've
- 22:59Speaker 2: always done.
- 23:00Speaker 3: So totally so yeah it's not.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Yeah, there is hope.
- 23:05Speaker 3: There is there.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Thank you, Thank you.
- 23:08Speaker 1: For our little chat. Not that I don't talk to
- 23:11Speaker 1: you every single day, so thanks for listening. Everybody, keep
- 23:21Speaker 1: tuning in
