Latest / Christ Himself - A Daily Devotional
Morning — October 27 — Matthew 8:17
This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took on our infirmities and carried our diseases.” — Matthew 8:17
The incarnation demonstrates that God does not observe human suffering from a distance but enters into the brokenness of the world. By absorbing the weight of human infirmity, Christ transforms affliction from a mark of isolation into a bridge toward divine restoration. This exchange ensures that every physical and spiritual wound finds its ultimate resolution in the finished work of the cross.
