- 2:44the NFL season so far, the Bears beat the Bengals 47 to 42 in the
- 2:52loss. 40 year old virgin. I'm just kidding, I don't know
- 2:55if he's a virgin. Joe Flacco threw for a career
- 2:58high 470 yards and four touchdowns.
- 3:02Higgins also had a good game with 121 yards and two
- 3:07touchdowns for the Bears. Williams had 280 passing yards
- 3:11and three touchdowns and also caught and receiving touchdown
- 3:16on a pass from DJ Moore on 1/4 and goal.
- 3:21Moore had four catches for 72 receiving yards and and a
- 3:26touchdown in addition to his touchdown pass.
- 3:30The biggest game came. I mean the biggest game came
- 3:35from their tight end Loveland. Finally the first round Michigan
- 3:39rookie had 6 catches for 118 yards and two touchdowns
- 3:43including the game-winning 58 yard touchdown.
- 3:46There was no defense to be found in the game as there were over
- 3:521000 total yards and 56 first downs as offenses March down the
- 3:58field at will. A key on sidekick recovery put
- 4:03the Bengals in position to win, but the league's worth worst
- 4:07Bengals defense could not hold the late lead.
- 4:12The Bengals fall to a three and six record while the Bears jump
- 4:16to A5 and three record, tying the Lions for 2nd place, just
- 4:21behind the Packers and just a game ahead of the Vikings.
- 4:26In a loaded NFC North, the Bears are for real.
- 4:30I have spoke very highly of Caleb Williams.
- 4:34I love Caleb Williams. I, I compared his ability to
- 4:38Aaron Rodgers. Anybody that's heard my take on
- 4:42Caleb Williams, and I'm not talking about the crying of what
- 4:44he did at USC and I, I don't care what he did, crying to his
- 4:48parents and his mom, whoever was out there, you know him cry to.
- 4:54What I do know about Caleb Williams is he has the ability
- 4:58to get out of trouble outside of the pocket.
- 5:00He knows how to throw on the run.
- 5:02He's got one of the best arms in football.
- 5:04I don't think anybody can argue that.
- 5:06Now, everybody's going to look at and compare Caleb Williams to
- 5:09the best players in the league, the Lamar Jackson's, the Patrick
- 5:12Mahomes, the Josh Allen's. I'm not comparing Caleb Williams
- 5:16yet to those guys, but what I could say about Caleb Williams
- 5:21that I don't know if anybody understands the quarterback
- 5:24position and what I study on his footwork to be one of the best
- 5:30footwork quarterbacks I have seen since Aaron Rodgers.
- 5:35Everybody talks about, well, what?
- 5:36Why is Aaron Rodgers so special? What made Aaron Rodgers so
- 5:39special with the Green Bay Packers?
- 5:42It was his understanding how to step into the pocket or move
- 5:45outside of the pocket, make the throws, run outside of the
- 5:48pocket and do the things that Aaron Rodgers did so very well.
- 5:52With a bad offensive line or even decent offensive line, or
- 5:56with no running games. Aaron Rodgers made players
- 5:59around him better. Now Caleb Williams has DJ Moore
- 6:05he's got and Doomsday, he's got all these guys that can catch
- 6:09the ball and Loveland looks like he's going to be a good player.
- 6:12We'll see. I don't know if he was the best
- 6:14tight end in that draft class, but they obviously thought he
- 6:18was. But the fact was, I saw a
- 6:22different Bears team on Sunday. I saw a team that obviously
- 6:29believes in the culture that Ben Johnson is bringing to this
- 6:32organization. I also look at Ben Johnson as a
- 6:35guy that was an offensive genius coming from the Lions that
- 6:40really love to run the ball and has changed his style of game to
- 6:45more air oriented type of game. And you could see it when the
- 6:49way they play now, Caleb Williams might be a different
- 6:53quarterback than the quarterback that he used to coach.
- 6:57And and I'm saying, wait, well, he has a different quarterback.
- 7:00When you look at Jared Goff, he he's he's a pocket present
- 7:02quarterback. Caleb Williams is a guy that can
- 7:05get outside of the pocket and run the ball.
- 7:07So you could see the difference in in styles and what you can do
- 7:10with Caleb Williams now, is he Lamar Jackson?
- 7:12No. Does he have the foot?
- 7:14Does he have the the speed of Lamar Jackson?
- 7:17No, but he's got the footwork. I believe that you can compare
- 7:22to the Aaron Rodgers of the world, the Troy Aikman's of the
- 7:26world. When we go back in time and we
- 7:28look at quarterbacks and guys that we say, wow, what made
- 7:31these guys so special? Troy Aikman, and I don't know if
- 7:35anybody remembers the Cowboys of the 90s.
- 7:38Troy Aikman had a good arm. But what made Troy Aikman so
- 7:41special is how he could step three steps back, make the throw
- 7:454 steps back, five steps back, seven steps back.
- 7:48And he understood the pocket, the presence of the collapsing
- 7:52pocket and stepping into the pocket and making those plays.
- 7:56Now, I'm not saying Caleb Williams is Troy Aikman.
- 7:59What I'm saying is you look at the comparison of ability that
- 8:03this kid has. I don't think we've seen a
- 8:06player this good at the position.
- 8:10If he figures things out and he becomes a better version, Aaron
- 8:15Rodgers, this guy could be the best quarterback in the league
- 8:19in two years. And Ben Johnson might be the guy
- 8:23to scope that out and figure that out to make this kid that
- 8:28special. And that's what's amazing about
- 8:30this. And that's why I thought Justin
- 8:33Fields got the bad stick because he had a guy like Eber Flus and
- 8:37then one year with Eber Flus, you saw even with Eber Flus, you
- 8:42saw a quarterback that put up Jaden Daniel numbers last year.
- 8:46The only reason why it didn't really stick out is because they
- 8:50didn't make the playoffs and they weren't any good.
- 8:52So you look at Caleb Williams now, they're a borderline
- 8:56playoff team. They can win the division, they
- 8:58can outlast the Lions, maybe jump ahead of the Packers.
- 9:02And this is a team that believes in their coach.
- 9:07Ever flues didn't have the team behind him.
- 9:10Ben Johnson, you see him hopping on the sidelines, dancing and
- 9:13prancing with the players flexing on the sidelines the
- 9:16other day. I mean, when you see that kind
- 9:19of enthusiasm, you see that that personality, you want to play
- 9:23for a coach. Anybody that knows anything
- 9:25about sports, you when you see a coach that dies with the players
- 9:31that lives and dies with the wrath of those players and has
- 9:35that kid inside of him like you see Ben Johnson have.
- 9:40I I think you you start to fall in love with the guy.
- 9:43And, and I'm going to tell you this right now for all you Jet
- 9:46fans that think that Aaron Glenn isn't the real deal and he's not
- 9:51the guy. I have heard numerous times from
- 9:55Dan Campbell saying that Aaron Glenn and he, and I'm going to
- 9:59say this in a very fairway because I don't want to put down
- 10:02Ben Johnson and his success. He said after both guys got a
- 10:08job that both of them are going to be stars, but Aaron Glenn
- 10:10could be special. And when you heard that from Dan
- 10:14Campbell and you understand Dan Campbell knows these two guys
- 10:20personally because they were a part of his coaching staff for a
- 10:23very, very long time. Why are Jet fans throwing away a
- 10:27superstar type of coach? Why is everybody giving up on a
- 10:31coach in one season, in 1/2 a season when he doesn't have the
- 10:35right quarterback? This guy, Ben Johnson, was
- 10:37handed the number one pick in the first round two years ago.
- 10:42He was handed a guy that everybody, including yours
- 10:46truly, has the ability to be so special.
- 10:50That could be compared to Aaron Rodgers.
- 10:54Aaron freaking Rodgers, who I think in a 10 year span is the
- 10:58greatest quarterback I've ever seen.
- 11:00Yeah, and there's also a lot of accuracy metrics that really
- 11:03benefit Caleb Williams right now.
- 11:04I mentioned a couple weeks ago when we were talking about the
- 11:06Bears, there was 1 interception he threw in the last 15 games or
- 11:10so. That's Aaron Rodgers esque.
- 11:12Some of the advanced metrics Caleb Williams had even last
- 11:14season are Aaron Rodgers esque. And this is the part of his
- 11:17game. You mentioned the footwork
- 11:18arrow. This is the part of the game
- 11:19that's Josh Allen esque. Josh Allen and Caleb Williams
- 11:22are the only two quarterbacks I've seen be able to roll out,
- 11:25stop, kind of backtrack, plant his feet and throw his
- 11:28intermediate passes as they do It's crazy.
- 11:30Hold up. We can't compare him to Josh.
- 11:32Allen, I'm not. I'm not Ryan.
- 11:34Yeah. Not gonna jump the gun.
- 11:35Yet we got to give him a year, we got to see this in a full
- 11:39year in his accomplishments as a star quarterback.
- 11:42If he does this multiple years. And I'm, I'm not saying Jaden
- 11:46Daniels isn't special, but Jaden Daniels doesn't have the
- 11:50athletically gifted things that now.
- 11:53Now Jim Daniels is athletically gifted, but the gifts that this
- 11:57guy has that and, and you're going to be compared with one
- 12:00another for the rest of their lives because one went one and
- 12:04the other went two. But Caleb Williams has something
- 12:08that Jaden Daniels doesn't have. And I don't think I, I can't
- 12:12explain it, but you can see it on a football fit.
- 12:15Maybe it's confidence, but Jaden Daniels has confidence.
- 12:19I don't know what it is, but you it's like Flair, OK?
- 12:22It's like, remember Ric Flair? Everybody likes wrestling,
- 12:25right? Woo, you know, Ric Flair would
- 12:27go out there and he would do woo and dance and do that, like
- 12:31dancing around in the ring. He was so confident.
- 12:34And then you have guys like The Ultimate Warrior, OK, He would
- 12:38come running around the ring shaking the turnbuckle, jump in
- 12:42the ring and just use power. And power doesn't always flare
- 12:47the fan. It doesn't bring the fan to fall
- 12:49in love with the the Super superstar wrestler.
- 12:52Okay, I think Caleb has something which what I would
- 12:56call to to be Rick Flair, that flair to it, that I think that
- 13:01just makes him different from I think Jaden Daniels or any of
- 13:05these young quarterbacks that we have been speaking about that
- 13:08have come into the leak. CJ Stroud.
- 13:10I I don't know if these guys have what Caleb Williams could
- 13:15bring to that table. He's Aaron Rodgers, yes, because
- 13:19he doesn't know how to speak to the the media.
- 13:21He's not very good at it. And when he speaks to the media,
- 13:24he talks like he is. You know, he's the guy.
- 13:28He's like he's the reason why the Bears are winning and doing
- 13:31it. And as well as she should think
- 13:33that way, but there are other players on that roster.
- 13:36There are other players on that team that's a pretty good
- 13:38defense now. I mean, that team is playing
- 13:40pretty good football right now. It's not just him, but Aaron
- 13:44Rodgers made it seem. And I think that's why a lot of
- 13:46players didn't like him over there in Green Bay.
- 13:48We have players that liked him on the show and then we've
- 13:51interviewed people that didn't like Aaron Rodgers, Rodgers.
- 13:54So to me, when you look at the facts of both guys and and
- 13:59they're very comparable, speedy, very comparable.
- 14:02Yeah, I was going to mention too.
- 14:03Like I think the way that Caleb Williams has elevated these
- 14:05newer targets is something you saw a lot with Aaron Rodgers we
- 14:08talk about all the time. Like the Packers didn't draft
- 14:10first round wide receivers. They had a revolving door of
- 14:12tight ends over the years, revolving door running backs.
- 14:14And this bearish team has a whole new philosophy with that
- 14:16kind of thing, probably outside of DJ Moore because Comet was
- 14:20the tight end for a while and he got hurt.
- 14:22So Loveland had to step up. Now you're seeing why Loveland
- 14:24was a first round pick, a mid first round pick on most boards.
- 14:27They had two running backs that were hurt in this game.
- 14:29Kyle Manungay, a rookie, stepped up and had over 150 yards
- 14:32rushing. There was another kid, another
- 14:34like 6 round rookie that had a touchdown.
- 14:35So they're he's buying into all that kind of philosophy when he
- 14:39had this quote UN quote label of being a egomaniac, a bad
- 14:42teammate when he first came into the league.
- 14:44Because that was the lazy analysis that all these these
- 14:47people, these Caleb Williams haters, allegedly, as you want
- 14:50to say, wanted to put them on there because he was a
- 14:52generational talent. And Caleb Williams is showing
- 14:55that he does not have that kind of label anymore.
- 14:57And he definitely has those kind of traits.
- 14:59As far as the Bears making the playoffs, you're right, Errol,
- 15:01it will depend on the defense. The defense is really banged up
- 15:03right now. That secondary has three corners
- 15:05that are heard some linebackers that have been up and down with
- 15:07injury. So if they can get any level of
- 15:09defense, it's a good defense on paper.
- 15:10They could definitely be a playoff team.
- 15:12The Packers defense has not played very well.
- 15:14The Lions defense is all hurt too.
- 15:16So there's definitely a window for them if they can get healthy
- 15:18first, especially in that secondary.
- 15:21Yeah, they can get healthy towards the end.
- 15:23But you know, back to Caleb is just it, it's one of those
- 15:26things where you like you said, Errol, it's like you can't
- 15:31really put your finger on what it is.
- 15:33But it's it's something that you can't teach and it, it's
- 15:37something that I think sometimes when you can't put a finger on
- 15:39it is when you're like, all right, there's something, but we
- 15:42just can't, we don't know what it is.
- 15:44You can't teach it. You just got it.
- 15:46And it's there's sometimes when it clicks, it clicks right.
- 15:49And then when he gets it, he's like, all right, look out.
- 15:51Because the product was there like he, he was there.
- 15:55He knew he's doing the footwork, the understanding.
- 15:57Obviously the game's a little bit faster at the NFL level, but
- 16:00you know, if, if they they got the pieces to put it together.
- 16:03And I mean this last week they they gave the the ratings out
- 16:07and him and Lamar were the only a rating at quarterback.
- 16:09And I think he just keeps getting better as he gets more
- 16:13comfortable. And then, you know, I don't
- 16:15think he's ever going to be good talking to the media.
- 16:17He just like he's kind of one of those people that feels like
- 16:20it's like socially like awkward when it comes to certain things.
- 16:24But when he gets on the field, it's when he gets comfortable
- 16:26and, and you can see what, you know, the potential and, and how
- 16:30good he already is. And I think he, he's going to
- 16:32get better. And you know, with the guys
- 16:35around him being young and, and the opportunity that he has for
- 16:37to grow with those receivers. It's, and I hear all about it
- 16:42cuz we got a bunch of bears fans because it's, it's proximity
- 16:45fans around here. It's like, who's the closest
- 16:46that we can get to? It's like, you know, it's the
- 16:49cheap Bears, the Vikings, you know?
- 16:51I will say this and everybody keeps talking, I know this is
- 16:54what we're going into the Bengals game and how crazy it
- 16:56was and how many points they put up.
- 16:58And look at Joe Flacco, old man Joe doing it again.
- 17:01And, and, and we expect that from Joe Flacco.
- 17:04We expect this from the Bengals. They spend all that money on
- 17:07Jamar Chase and Higgins. So we expect him to put up big
- 17:10points and, and, and evaluate what they're good at.
- 17:14The problem here is the Bears are, to me, be a borderline team
- 17:21that could make the playoffs. I think there are certain pieces
- 17:25that need to be added for them to compete in a division that's
- 17:28so highly talented and and with the Packers up and down.
- 17:33I don't know what Packers team is going to show up every single
- 17:36week. We saw this week against
- 17:38Carolina. I mean, is that the Packer team
- 17:42we expect to win a championship? Not really.
- 17:45I mean, honestly, Jordan Love, who I think he's very, very good
- 17:49and very underrated when it comes to the elite quarterbacks
- 17:51in the league. I would say top seven, top
- 17:54eight. There are games that you kind of
- 17:55just scratch your head and hit your head are wondering, hey,
- 17:59maybe maybe he really isn't as good as you think he could be.
- 18:03So I I don't know how we can compare this division and how
- 18:08loaded this division could be for the future.
- 18:10But I do know is Caleb Williams is for real, and I don't care
- 18:15what expert we've had on our show in the past tell me that
- 18:18this guy was not going to be a good quarterback in the league.
- 18:20And he says he did it. He never said it.
- 18:23OK, Everybody can't stand this kid because of his pizzazz, his
- 18:28personality, that he was getting so much money in NIL deals
- 18:33before he came to the NFL. He was making seven or $8
- 18:36million a year of NAL money and he was in every single
- 18:39commercial. And he never went to play in a
- 18:41ball game or we never played in a national championship because
- 18:45he played for the garbage USC Trojans.
- 18:47The fact here is when I watch this kid, I want to watch him.
- 18:53I don't want to just sit here and try to compare him to
- 18:55anybody else. I think this kid is so freaking
- 18:59special when 10 years from now, when we're looking at
- 19:03quarterbacks of this decade, the Patrick Mahomes, the Josh
- 19:08Allen's, the Lamar Jackson's. If this kid gets the right
- 19:12coaching from Ben Johnson, I sincerely believe this guy could
- 19:17be better than all of them. That's how crazy my take here is
- 19:23about Caleb speaking. How long have I been telling you
- 19:25about Caleb? You've been hyping up for a long
- 19:28time. Five years I watched this kid
- 19:30play high school ball, and this guy didn't even start in his
- 19:34college team. He had to earn his way to to be
- 19:37a starter in college. And I said this kid, I watched
- 19:40the play high school. I said this kid special, this
- 19:42kid is going to go play college ball.
- 19:44He's going to be the number one quarterback in the country in
- 19:47two or three years. I was right.
- 19:49And then I have these experts, these fantasy guru guys come on
- 19:52this show and attack my take. Tell me I don't know what I'm
- 19:55talking about. Errol, you're an idiot.
- 19:57Errol this, Errol that. Yeah, I'm an idiot.
- 19:59What is he doing right now? Why do I believe he's better
- 20:03than Jaden Daniels? Jaden Daniels took his team to
- 20:05an NFC title game last year, and I'm going to tell you this.
- 20:08If Caleb Williams was on that Washington Commander team with
- 20:13his flair and his understanding of not giving a crap, I believe
- 20:19Caleb Williams wins that game and beats the Eagles.
- 20:22Crazy, huh? No, it's not crazy.
- 20:26It's what I believe and that's why I come on this show and I
- 20:29tell you how I feel. I don't care what you think.
- 20:32And I'm going to tell you this five years from now when Caleb
- 20:35Williams is an elite quarterback in the top three, maybe even the
- 20:38number one quarterback in the league.
- 20:40And I come back to this conversation.
- 20:42What are you going to, what are you guys going to say then what,
- 20:45what commotional crap that you're going to say on this show
- 20:50on a network, a major network, Say, I remember when you were
- 20:53doing, you know, jabbing a mouth on, on your network and now
- 20:56you're on this network. What what do you say about this?
- 20:58I'm going to say I was right. That's what I'm going to say.
- 21:01I was right. I've been right the whole time
- 21:04about Caleb Williams. The only quarterback I was wrong
- 21:07about was Zach Wilson. That is the only quarterback
- 21:10I've been wrong about over the last five years, six years.
- 21:15And Justin Fields I thought maybe would work out.
- 21:18By the way, I believe Aaron Glenn was going to run his
- 21:20offense. I knew he couldn't throw, but I
- 21:22was feeling that maybe he would figure it out.
- 21:25But he's not. He's not that.
- 21:26And he's a backup quarter. He's a bona fide backup
- 21:29quarterback. And I have to give.
- 21:30I'm going to take back what I said.
- 21:32Yes, you heard it from me. For the Pittsburgh Steelers, who
- 21:36I took shots at. And when we get Mister Jack back
- 21:40on this show, Sperry, I'm going to apologize to him.
- 21:45Yeah, I'm going to apologize to him because I told Jack it was
- 21:49the biggest mistake for his organization to make was decide
- 21:53to part ways with Justin Fields. I was wrong, and I I apologize.
- 22:01I apologize. So there you go.
- 22:04My apology. If Jack's Berry hears it.
- 22:06I apologize that I was wrong about Justin Fields, that you
- 22:10were right with Aaron Rodgers. Figure that one out.
- 22:13Aaron Rodgers is winning ball games and beat Indianapolis
- 22:18yesterday, which I was shocked about.
- 22:20So, Jack, you were right. OK?
- 22:22You heard it from me on this damn show.
- 22:25All right, Our golf clap of the day.
- 22:29This deserves a golf clap. No doubt.
- 22:32Golf clap. Golf clap.
- 22:36Well, it seems like my deuce of the day in my golf clap always
- 22:39has to strand to Travis Hunter. And guess what?
- 22:41It's trans again to Travis Hunter.
- 22:44Because Travis Hunter, as we all believe is a failure of a
- 22:49football player, has eventually turned away from playing
- 22:55football and might not play for a significant amount of time.
- 22:58Yeah, for some reason we don't know, Travis Hunter is out on IR
- 23:05now. The injury is.
- 23:08They're saying it could be some leg injury, but nobody knows
- 23:11what it is. Only Travis Hunter knows what
- 23:15the injury is, ladies and gentlemen.
- 23:18And why don't we know? Well, the Unicorn or whatever he
- 23:21calls himself, I call him the Gremlin.
- 23:23He calls himself the Unicorn. Only he or the the team would
- 23:28know why this guy is on IR. Remember 2 weeks ago when I had
- 23:33Keith come to me and tell me 100 yards. 100 yards.
- 23:37Yeah, body part. Non human body part.
- 23:39That's right, speedy non human body part.
- 23:44Who knows what it is? Only the gremlins.
- 23:46Who knows what it is, Only Travis Hunter, the Unicorn who
- 23:51before games gets, you know, I don't know.
- 23:55Didn't they say it was that prac?
- 23:58Yeah, I don't get this. I don't understand this man just
- 24:03as much as everybody believes that this guy is a Unicorn.
- 24:06This guy is a joke and an absolute debacle.
- 24:10So my Golf Club goes to the Jaguars again.
- 24:14Absolutely. Making a trade for this.
- 24:16Good for nothing. I don't know what you call him.
- 24:19Corner, wide receiver, garbage, The Kremlin himself.
- 24:23So my Golf Club goes to the Jaguars, not Travis Hunter.
- 24:27I can't give him a golf clap. Why would I ever give Travis
- 24:29Hunter a golf clap? I'm going to give it to the
- 24:31Jaguars. Let's go.
- 24:32Let's go for it. Save your tears, Mom.
- 24:34What's one thing? That you can't talk to me about.
- 24:38My sexual fantasies. Say yourself.
- 24:43It is not ideal, but if it's what means, it is not ideal, but
- 24:45if it's just not ideal, but if it is, what mean?
- 24:48You can't dribble stamp a double stamp.
- 24:50You can't dribble stamp a double stamp, Lord, you can't dribble
- 24:52stamp a double stamp, you guys. Now it's time for save your
- 24:59tear. He tastes.
- 25:03Himself right everybody, here we go with the savior tears
- 25:10results. I hope the week nine of the NFL
- 25:14season wait for this. This is the compliment chorus
- 25:17again. The winner gets compliments from
- 25:20every loser. 51% of those compliments must be genuine.
- 25:24Cannot be. That's all sex.
- 25:27So here we go. There's a very competitive
- 25:30battle. Here's the board.
- 25:33But the winner and there could only be one.
- 25:37Just like in Highlander. Joby Beg.
- 25:40Winner is speedy PD with a runaway win.
- 25:43Almost by 25 points over the 2nd place.
- 25:49Not even really much of A contest.
- 25:52What a what a performance by Speedy.
- 25:54We'll compliment him shortly. But Speedy did have the top
- 25:57receiver score, the top tight end score, top quarterback
- 26:01score, top running back score to this runaway victory in second
- 26:06place. Tommy Poop's always the
- 26:08bridesmaid. Sometimes the bride's recently
- 26:11not. And then Jabba with a cool 69
- 26:16points on the nose in 3rd place. Smell my ass.
- 26:22So, as always, we will go through the compliment chorus
- 26:27with the last. My Indo.
- 26:29Going first, today's last place finisher was Nathan.
- 26:33Scoop sits on the sitter give. Speedy, some compliments.
- 26:37Grobar Grobar ass licker. Well sweetie, Congrats on the
- 26:42big win here. You're one of the best producers
- 26:45we have on the show. You do.
- 26:47It oh there. Oh, look at it.
- 26:49It's the blue blazer. He's back.
- 26:52You do a. You do a great job of booking
- 26:55guests also for us and the the work you do when it comes to
- 27:00behind the scenes when when you're cutting up the clips,
- 27:02it's amazing what I see and collaborating.
- 27:05Thumb up my ass. Awesome so shout out to Speedy
- 27:09man you're you're blowjob. The video making is good Doo
- 27:14Doo. All right, Next up appears to be
- 27:18me, Speedy. He.
- 27:22Tasted stuff and that that was that was fantastic.
- 27:25Nathan we, we only expect that kind of level of doesn't he look
- 27:29like Dracula quality Speedy, that's a great job.
- 27:34You can really look like Dracula though.
- 27:38Well, Nathan, the blue blazer in full effect tonight.
- 27:41Can't wait. Blue blazer on.
- 27:43I got giants gear on speedy. Your favorite team?
- 27:46My favorite team. It's it's really kind of a
- 27:50brotherhood that you can only understand through shared
- 27:53suffering and incompetence and just quizzical decision making
- 27:58from the top on down generations.
- 28:01But not you, speedy. You were confident.
- 28:04You made streamlined choices. You looked at the analytics and
- 28:10you then used your gut. You use both of it.
- 28:12That's why you're number one. That's why you won.
- 28:16Save your tears. Willy whoppers.
- 28:18Speedy Willy whoppers. All right.
- 28:22Next is Errol Martins. Do I have to really go?
- 28:31You can't cry about Errol. You got to save your tears.
- 28:35Speedy, you have one of the hairiest bunnies.
- 28:41Whatever. 51% positive. Some people may call that
- 28:46positive though, so I mean. That's kind of in the middle.
- 28:51All right, All right, I'll be. I'll be serious, though.
- 28:54I'll be serious, Speedy, you know I love you.
- 28:56You're like a little brother to me.
- 28:57Sometimes you can get on my nerves, but nevertheless, your
- 29:01analytics, your personality, your your spirit for jopping a
- 29:05mouth and really the back. Really you've been the backbone
- 29:08of everything that I've done over the last couple of years.
- 29:11I've leaned towards you, not lean backwards, only forwards.
- 29:17I. Hope you won't lean backwards.
- 29:20But you know, you've been you've been everything that I needed as
- 29:24as a right hand person, I just make sure you keep your right
- 29:28hand away from me. But I.
- 29:29I'll be sure of that. I I appreciate everything that
- 29:33you do every single day and you know, you know how I feel about
- 29:37you so. All right, that was at least
- 29:4151%. I'll give it to you on that one.
- 29:44Jared actually is injured at practice, so he is not here
- 29:52tonight. He sends his best give you a
- 29:55compliment later, Speedy Reno. Johnny is not here tonight as
- 30:00well. So if you can get that.
- 30:02Compliment from him on layaway, but now we're up to our third
- 30:06place finish. Soccer.
- 30:09Mr. Java Chamberlain. Oh, Speedy, of course.
- 30:14The analytical one himself. Like I said, you're gonna start.
- 30:18Once you start winning, it seems like they just keep building and
- 30:21building jerks. Off.
- 30:23With and the juju just keeps coming back to you.
- 30:26I need to, I need to definitely have you go before me next week
- 30:29so I can actually not be in the do you know a rival party can
- 30:35win and maybe take. Oh, don't worry, everyone's
- 30:37gonna have a different order next week or next.
- 30:40Yeah, I know there's two weeks in a row.
- 30:42So I said as soon as you win, how about it's gonna, it's gonna
- 30:45keep happening. So I guess I'm going to have to
- 30:47wait and try and dethrone you. But as we've seen, that probably
- 30:51is not going to happen. So Speedy, you are the man.
- 30:53Freaking daily wives. All right.
- 30:57And we only got 1 left. That's our silver medalist.
- 31:00Tommy poop. So let me ask let me ask before
- 31:04what is it? I get my compliments, but has
- 31:06anybody won back-to-back yet for savior tears?
- 31:09Nathan, Danny, this season has Nathan done it?
- 31:13OK, gotcha. I was going to say I thought you
- 31:15were the first to do it, Speedy, but hey, you're the second to do
- 31:17it. So your name is also alongside
- 31:18Nathan in those. History books for.
- 31:20This show, as much more as it is, already is for you being the
- 31:24man on this show, Speedy. Like we all said, we're not
- 31:26really surprised because you are just really the man when it
- 31:29comes to analytics, not me when it comes to picking players
- 31:32fantasy wise. I know I'm always talking your
- 31:34head off of fantasy. Questions.
- 31:35I don't care. Always after the show.
- 31:36Always before the show. So speedy, man, you're the
- 31:39absolute. Joy.
- 31:41Back-to-back weeks, you know, like I said, we're not really
- 31:43surprised. And hey, man, enjoy this
- 31:45back-to-back. Enjoy this 90. 9%.
- 31:47Enjoy the crown, having it for two weeks, you know so.
- 31:49Here we go. Not as good as sniff and slap,
- 31:54but I'll take it. Speedy, congratulations one more
- 31:57time. We'll be back next episode for
- 31:59week 10s. Save your tears.
- 32:04Anyways, tic tac No tic tac. Morris.
- 32:08Right in the butt. We get the prizes cheap because
- 32:12they're stolen. No, no.
- 32:16No, no, no, no, no. I have to take a shit.
- 32:23Every time I watch Speedy dance it kind of gets me worried that
- 32:28this guy has ants in his pants. It seriously looks like he does
- 32:33because he puts his hands up and I, I wonder where his hands are
- 32:37going. And then all of a sudden they
- 32:39just stay up in the air. I'm like, are we, are we playing
- 32:43like, you know, what are they, what do they call it?
- 32:46The Eiffel Tower, when you're you hold each other's hands and
- 32:50you know, you know what I'm talking about, John.
- 32:52Whoa. That is not what I thought.
- 32:54When I heard. Eiffel Tower I'm gonna be.
- 32:55Honest, I didn't know I. Thought I was don't speak
- 32:58French. I thought that was a different
- 33:05segment. Well, we haven't done that
- 33:08segment in a while, so. Right.
- 33:13I don't want to scare anybody. With the rah rah shishkumba all.
- 33:16Right, let's go all. Right, we'll start with the
- 33:18World Series losing team, the Toronto Blue Jays.
- 33:20Last time they won a World Series in 1993, what player?
- 33:23Who was the oldest team player on the team that year led the
- 33:26Blue Jays in hits that season? 93 in 1993.
- 33:30He was the oldest. Player I think I know this one,
- 33:33Paul Molitor and. Fish gets.
- 33:36US, yeah. Paul the Famer Paul Molitor.
- 33:41Yeah, I remember that. I was a kid watching that one.
- 33:46I remember that. All right, I'm taking the middle
- 33:48Speedy. What you got next all?
- 33:50Right, so we'll go to some college football.
- 33:51Obviously we talk about Florida Fire and Billy Napier, who was
- 33:54the longest tenured Florida coach in the last 50 years, also
- 33:58was a Heisman Trophy winner. You said a Florida coach?
- 34:04Yep. I have no.
- 34:06Spurrier. And fish gets 2 for two.
- 34:08Yeah, who do you go with? The Heisman.
- 34:12With you. Wonder with Florida.
- 34:14Oh, that's right. Let's go.
- 34:18That's awesome. Speedy, you didn't rehearse this
- 34:21with me at all. This is just great.
- 34:25Somebody All right, I'm going to stay off.
- 34:28I'm going to take bottom right. All right, here we go.
- 34:32Next question, do your your worst speedy.
- 34:34All right, let's go to some basketball.
- 34:36So KD's first year in Oklahoma City, we were talking about his
- 34:39feud with the Thunder fans. He was the leading scorer that
- 34:41season. Russell Westbrook was third.
- 34:43What player who's still active was the second leading scorer?
- 34:47Oh. What year is this?
- 34:51So the first year in OKC, so that would have been the 2. 1000
- 34:54so this is KD second year, but yeah, KD second year.
- 34:56League. So it's been 2008.
- 34:58I have no idea who's on that team.
- 34:59It's not James Harden's. It's.
- 35:01A player that is still active. That wasn't in the league yet.
- 35:05Stupid. Ass mission?
- 35:07That's an interesting question still.
- 35:09Playing now that I'm just trying to think of guys that would
- 35:11still be playing from that team. Well, it's not Kendrick Perkins,
- 35:15even though he was the. Hero saying that as a joke.
- 35:19It's a white dude. Still playing?
- 35:24Still playing? What the hell?
- 35:29Is it collision? Nope, Nick Collision was the
- 35:32last original Super Sonic. I don't even.
- 35:34Know that game? Damn.
- 35:37Still playing? I'm going to guess, but I don't
- 35:40know if he's still playing. I don't know if it's right.
- 35:42I'm going to say Serge Ibaka. No.
- 35:44No A. Good guess.
- 35:46He's definitely retired. I don't.
- 35:47Know if he was playing or not. Collision, I mean, was in the
- 35:50league for a long time, so yeah. It was the last original Super
- 35:52Sonic. I think it was retired like 4
- 35:54years ago. Is this like like a Nick Batum?
- 36:00No, but that's a good guess. It's a similar.
- 36:03Type, I got, I got, I got nothing player.
- 36:06I'm trying to think I can't. It's going to be like one of
- 36:10these guys that's just like a role player off the bench for
- 36:13the last six years, but he's just been around.
- 36:17You're right, Fish is literally that type of player.
- 36:20He's probably been on like 17. Yeah, he definitely could have
- 36:23been. Yep.
- 36:25Sure it's not a woman? No, it's.
- 36:26Not a woman. Hey, you can't say that.
- 36:33Yeah. So Java I got.
- 36:34I got nothing. Yep.
- 36:36So Fish, you're literally right. It isn't that type of player.
- 36:38It's Jeff Green. Jeff.
- 36:40Green I didn't remember Jeff Green.
- 36:44Was I remembered him uncle? Jeff, I remember him now.
- 36:47All right, Speedy, you're going for the block.
- 36:49Yes, I. Am heart problem.
- 36:51All right, Speedy gets the block.
- 36:53Damn, we could have. Done it.
- 36:54All right. Next question.
- 36:55All right, so the recently retired Darius Leonard has the
- 36:59rookie record with most combined tackles in a season.
- 37:02So which active linebacker? That is third among rookies,
- 37:07just behind him in that record with 112.
- 37:10I'm sorry, say that all over again.
- 37:12So. Darius Leonard had the rookie
- 37:13record for most combined tackles in a season.
- 37:15He just retired. That's why I brought it up.
- 37:16So which active linebacker? Somebody still in the league was
- 37:19third? I'm going to take the.
- 37:21Time with 112. I'm going to guess Wagner.
- 37:23Nope. Active linebacker now?
- 37:28Yep. Von Miller.
- 37:31Nope. No, he's Matt Rusher.
- 37:34He needs to get middle line back to get that many tackles.
- 37:38Lavonte, David. Java gets it.
- 37:40He couldn't miss on his. Husker.
- 37:43He couldn't miss on his Husker after missing Matt Rule the last
- 37:46time we did. This I know.
- 37:47I was like, you know, I think I'm pretty sure it is.
- 37:50That's a great one. All right, Java, where do you
- 37:52want to go? Let's go middle right?
- 37:58Suck it, speedy. Middle right, right here.
- 38:05All right, we got a two way go right here.
- 38:07I like it. All right, Speedy.
- 38:10All right, so back to college football.
- 38:12So Indiana, one of the remaining undefeated teams, They were also
- 38:15like that last year, along with Oregon and two other teams.
- 38:19So you have to name one of those two other teams.
- 38:21One of them was a Big 12 team, the other one was a non.
- 38:23Defeated. Yep, who was the last remaining
- 38:25undefeated teams last year? One of them was a Big 12 team,
- 38:28the other one is a non power four team.
- 38:30Name one of them. I can't.
- 38:36Remember looking at the standings?
- 38:37Was it a mid major? Yeah, one of them was a non
- 38:41power four team. Yes, that would qualify.
- 38:42I can't. Remember, if ASU lost the game,
- 38:48that's not even that. Doesn't even fit the North
- 38:51Dakota. North Dakota State?
- 38:53No. Is it North Dakota State or
- 38:54South Dakota State? No, it's still an FBS team.
- 38:58Those are all FCS. Teams.
- 39:00It's not an FCS. Team.
- 39:01Oh, OK. North Dakota State does have
- 39:05like them and JMU or like a dynasty for like FCS.
- 39:08Yeah, that's what I was thinking.
- 39:09I was like, damn, I know it's one of those.
- 39:11I need you to say the question. One more time.
- 39:13So along with Oregon and Indiana, the last four
- 39:17undefeated teams when the College Football Playoff came
- 39:20out, one of them was a Big 12 team.
- 39:22The other one was a non power four team.
- 39:24So just you need to name just one of the the two teams.
- 39:28Undefeated last. Year.
- 39:29Yeah, one of the last four. Undefeated last year.
- 39:34What was the good Big 12 team last year?
- 39:37I can't even think of right now. I'm trying to think of a big the
- 39:39Big 12 team. Well, we're in the Big 10, so I
- 39:43don't really watch the Big 12. They're sacrilegious to the
- 39:47conference now that they left. Yeah, Texas was last year.
- 39:51Last year was Texas's. First year in SEC, right?
- 39:53Yes, OK, nevermind. So it's not done for sure.
- 39:55Yes. I don't think they want to
- 39:57defeat Yeah, like. You were saying Arizona State
- 39:59wasn't the Big 12. The expansion did happen then
- 40:01the first the last year. The PAC 12 was 2023.
- 40:04I don't know. Honestly, I I don't know.
- 40:07I I'm just going to guess the team.
- 40:17She's I'm like completely blanking.
- 40:22There's no point. Yeah, I got nothing wrong.
- 40:25Kansas State. Nope.
- 40:28Yes, you, you already guessed right, Darryl.
- 40:29No, I don't know. You didn't guess.
- 40:31OK. Yeah, you could just tell us
- 40:32meeting I. Don't think so.
- 40:33One of them the the Big 12 team was BYU.
- 40:35So scoops, you're on the right track.
- 40:37A team. Another team that moved.
- 40:38You know what's funny? I I was thinking of BYU.
- 40:40BYU, I was thinking of Zach. I was going to.
- 40:43Begin and then the and the independent team was one that
- 40:46one of our guests knows very well and Colin Cosell and that
- 40:49was. Tell you this BYU basketball is
- 40:51going to be really good this year.
- 40:52Once they are. What they say that kids gonna go
- 40:55#1 or #2? Yeah, I've heard number.
- 40:58One, are you going for the block here?
- 40:59Are you going for the block here?
- 41:01Let's go for yeah, where I can win.
- 41:03I'll go top right. You could win either place.
- 41:06Yeah, there's no difference. All right, Yeah, let's go there
- 41:08cuz that's easy. All right, here we go.
- 41:09Next one wins, it looks. Like, all right, we'll go to
- 41:12baseball for this one. I was saving this one for Java.
- 41:16I didn't want to use it the week he was out.
- 41:18So obviously Yamamoto, with the two complete games there was the
- 41:23last Dodgers pitcher to do that, did it in 2004.
- 41:26Who was that? Two complete games in the
- 41:30playoffs. No, just any playoff complete
- 41:33game, which which also there was a weird gap.
- 41:37There was a long gap before that.
- 41:38Before that the last complete game in the playoffs was
- 41:40Verlander in 2017. But this was the last Dodger to
- 41:43do it, and they did it in 2004. 2. 1004 Dodgers.
- 41:48My goodness. I got that in a life with
- 41:53Dodger. Kevin Brown?
- 41:57Nope. Damn.
- 42:08Golly. I got nothing.
- 42:11I don't even know anybody at your pictures.
- 42:13Can I give my pick the fish? Yes.
- 42:15Let's give some Fisher to guess. All right, Fish.
- 42:16You get another one. I can't.
- 42:20I couldn't even tell you the Dodgers back then.
- 42:25I was, I remember what, because I was.
- 42:27I was in college. Nomo.
- 42:31Nope. Damn.
- 42:36Was was he a star his whole career?
- 42:44I. Think a majority of it.
- 42:50I want to say I'm. I am.
- 42:55I don't know why it was it Lima time.
- 42:59Yes. It.
- 43:02Was. Because I remain wasn't there
- 43:04long. No, I think only two years.
- 43:07Yeah, but I remember it was like they were comparing to like when
- 43:10he when he was thrown is like this is like Fernando.
- 43:13But I I knew there was like some correlation in like the like
- 43:17Fernando mania or something. And I was like, I but I didn't
- 43:21think he started that long. Yeah, he was.
- 43:25Most of the most of his career was a *.
- 43:26Sometimes I sit on it. But yeah, because he was like a
- 43:29fourth or fifth starter. Like it wasn't all.
- 43:30Like, all the time, yeah. Yeah, he only had one.
- 43:34Year with the. Serial killer he only had one
- 43:35year with the Dodgers, then he went to the then he went to the
- 43:37Royals, then he went to the Mets in in O 6 and he got hurt and
- 43:41his. Career, yeah.
- 43:42Isn't it been dancing? You're Wiener Barb dancing?
- 43:44Yeah, he. Was a starter most of his
- 43:47career. Nathan had that say.
- 43:52He just had a different colored shirt on tonight.
- 43:54Nathan had that exact same blazer.
- 43:56He had the blazer on. He's the blue blazer.
- 43:59It's it's definitely something special when he has that blazer.
- 44:02I think he was trying to impress Brandon Steiner.
- 44:05I don't know. There was something, something
- 44:08I, I, I don't get it, but yeah. By the way, Brandon's house is
- 44:13dope. I'm sure, I bet, I'm sure.
- 44:16I'm sure. I might have to check it out,
- 44:18Bob. It's funny because Mike Catino
- 44:20tells me a lot about him and Brandon Steiner.
- 44:23They kind of work together. When Brandon started his his his
- 44:27collection and started to sell autograph signings, Mike Catino
- 44:30had his own, you know, magazine and they worked in the same
- 44:34place. So they worked hand in hand with
- 44:36each other when it came to athletes.
- 44:38Brandon would bring the athletes and, and Mike Catino would get
- 44:42them in the magazine. So it's, it's pretty cool.
- 44:45And he wanted to link me up with Brandon Steiner over the last, I
- 44:50would say the last six or seven months, but I, I've been so busy
- 44:53with, with what we're doing, what we're doing.
- 44:55So it's been, it's just been a little bit hard.

- 46:03Foul, his autobiography. It gets in very in depth with
- 46:07the NBA betting scandal, what he was arrested for, and now we're
- 46:09seeing what many others are being investigated and arrested.
- 46:13For isn't it fitting that all this is happening and now
- 46:17Donaghy is coming out with a book and and now it's starting.
- 46:21Everything's starting to hit the fan about the NBA and Donaghy's
- 46:24been talking about it for a long, long time.
- 46:27I think this is very, very fitting.
- 46:30And I'm I'm going to have a lot of fun with this interview.
- 46:33I'm going to tell you this right now.
- 46:35It's a must listen to. If you don't know who Tim
- 46:38Donahey is, look it up and look him up.
- 46:42He was a part, I remember of the Sacramento Lakers series,
- 46:48Sacramento Spurs series. He has been a big part of the
- 46:53back end of the NBA. Why the NBA is really trying to
- 46:56protect themselves with these betting scandals and I think he
- 47:00is. I'm going to get out some
- 47:03interesting information for all the fans that are into the NBA
- 47:06and sports betting on why Tim Donaghy shouldn't be.
- 47:11I wouldn't say he's not. He wasn't a problem, but he
- 47:15shouldn't be all to blame what the NBA is transitioned into.
- 47:18That's that's my opinion and I think Tim Donaghy is going to
- 47:22express his feelings towards towards the NBA when he comes on
- 47:26this show on Wednesday. So stay tuned and get ready for
- 47:29a great interview. We're very excited for this.
- 47:31This is something very, very big and he's been only on a couple
- 47:35of shows, a couple of marketing shows and for him to come on our
- 47:39show says a lot about what he thinks of us.
- 47:42So we really appreciate him for joining us on Wednesday.
