- 0:03Speaker 1: Yes, no, maybe I don't know. Today is one of
- 0:09Speaker 1: the greatest celebrations across the entire globe, not just the state,
- 0:15Speaker 1: not just our city or town, not just the country.
- 0:18Speaker 1: I am talking the entire globe. If you're unaware, which
- 0:22Speaker 1: I know Angie is unaware until she got a big
- 0:25Speaker 1: hint right there. Happy National Middle Child Day to any
- 0:30Speaker 1: middle child out there right now. If you are the
- 0:33Speaker 1: middle child in your family, you immediately are my favorite
- 0:38Speaker 1: member of your team by a mile.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Okay, obviously, because you are a.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Middle child and I'm a real middle child.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Okay, I don't want to hear any of this, but
- 0:47Speaker 1: there's four of us that I'm in the middle. Because
- 0:49Speaker 1: there's two of you in the middle, you have I
- 0:51Speaker 1: cannot stand you.
- 0:53Speaker 2: This is why I'm mad. I'm not going to celebrate
- 0:56Speaker 2: your little middle Child Day because.
- 0:58Speaker 3: It's got to be little middle child.
- 1:00Speaker 4: Yeah, because I am in the middle with my sister.
- 1:03Speaker 3: Yeah you got a teammate, Yeah.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Okay, I have a teammate.
- 1:06Speaker 4: However, we are girls in a Latin household, so my
- 1:11Speaker 4: mom is Cuban and my sister and I were sandwiched
- 1:14Speaker 4: between firstborn son. Yeah that's tough, and baby boy okay,
- 1:20Speaker 4: and in the middle it's useless girls.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Not we are not useless. But I'm saying like that's
- 1:27Speaker 2: the mentality.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Well, I want to let you know, Angie.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Can I celebrate today or not?
- 1:32Speaker 1: We also in the Glynton house have firstborn boy. Uh huh,
- 1:36Speaker 1: baby girl. You know who I don't have in the
- 1:39Speaker 1: middle with me. Someone does share this burden with Okay,
- 1:44Speaker 1: and because of middle children, I have written you a
- 1:46Speaker 1: poem today just to celebrate the fact that we exist,
- 1:50Speaker 1: despite that your family has probably forgot.
- 1:52Speaker 3: You're at your house right now.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Okay, So this poem is for all the middle children
- 1:56Speaker 1: out there.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Well okay, but you're making it clear, not for me.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Not if it's an uneven number or not. If it's
- 2:01Speaker 3: an even number.
- 2:02Speaker 2: All right, fine me, fine, that's right.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Roses are red, violets are blue. Mom had the first kid,
- 2:09Speaker 1: then she had you. The oldest got photos, the youngest
- 2:14Speaker 1: got spoiled, while we middle kids just quietly toiled. We
- 2:19Speaker 1: learned how to share, we learned how to cope, We
- 2:22Speaker 1: got really good at surviving with hope. We may not
- 2:26Speaker 1: be first and we may not be last, but us
- 2:29Speaker 1: middle kids know how to have a blast. So here's
- 2:32Speaker 1: to the kids who were stuck in between the most
- 2:35Speaker 1: overlooked kids you've ever seen. Happy middle child day. Let's
- 2:39Speaker 1: give them a cheer because apparently today is the.
- 2:43Speaker 3: One day they remember we're here.
- 2:45Speaker 1: And you know what the worst part is, Angie walked
- 2:47Speaker 1: in today and did not immediately immediately start celebrating that
- 2:51Speaker 1: I existed, and I felt away about it the.
- 2:54Speaker 4: Way I will never care because you don't think that
- 2:57Speaker 4: me being in the middle with my sister counts.
- 2:59Speaker 5: Too celebrating life's little victories. Every morning we practice gratitude
- 3:08Speaker 5: on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 3:10Speaker 6: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 3:12Speaker 6: basket jump busted out when it was someone's acting hard.
- 3:16Speaker 5: Sure your little victories with us at seven oh one
- 3:19Speaker 5: two eight one eight.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Seven, kids, I also needed to win that day, all right, Angie,
- 3:25Speaker 3: do you have a little victory for me today?
- 3:28Speaker 4: I unpacked my suitcase. I unpacked my suitcase, and I
- 3:32Speaker 4: have only been home for two days when I'm unpacked,
- 3:37Speaker 4: so that's great. That's like a record for me. I
- 3:39Speaker 4: usually wait until I have no more clean clothes.
- 3:44Speaker 3: You wait until it's out of necessity.
- 3:46Speaker 4: Yes, but yeah, I unpacked my suitcase and it was
- 3:50Speaker 4: a behemoth of a suitcase. This was It was a
- 3:53Speaker 4: suitcase that had a week's worth of outfits and backup
- 3:58Speaker 4: outfits and all that.
- 3:59Speaker 1: There wasn't the little suitcases that can maybe fit under
- 4:01Speaker 1: the seat of the plane.
- 4:02Speaker 3: You had the big.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Absolutely not No, I had the big dog and I
- 4:05Speaker 4: unpacked it completely and did laundry.
- 4:09Speaker 2: So am I the best? No? But I feel like
- 4:14Speaker 2: I am. I'm really proud of that.
- 4:17Speaker 1: I'd say you're one or maybe two, maybe two steps
- 4:20Speaker 1: above the laziesta.
- 4:21Speaker 2: See, there we go.
- 4:22Speaker 3: It's a little victory is a win. A win is
- 4:24Speaker 3: a win.
- 4:25Speaker 2: What about you, Gabe, what's your little victory?
- 4:27Speaker 1: We take wins here on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 4:29Speaker 1: My little victory is today I will be getting a
- 4:33Speaker 1: new fridge at my house. I have been on just
- 4:36Speaker 1: an adventure with the fridge in our house. When we
- 4:39Speaker 1: moved in, this thing kind of stopped working, like right away.
- 4:42Speaker 1: They thought they fixed it, didn't came back, did fix
- 4:45Speaker 1: it been going strong, running great until like the beginning
- 4:50Speaker 1: well probably middle of July. So we have got a
- 4:54Speaker 1: fridge that they let us borrow, but it's in the garage.
- 4:58Speaker 1: So anytime we needed to go to the free we
- 5:00Speaker 1: had to go to the garage and then they were like.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Oh gosh, and that must be annoying storing breast milk.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Come, well, we have a tiny little one, like a
- 5:08Speaker 1: mini fridge that we've brought in the house specifically for that. Yeah,
- 5:12Speaker 1: but other than that, yeah, we've had to go out
- 5:14Speaker 1: to the garage.
- 5:15Speaker 3: And is it the end of the world.
- 5:17Speaker 1: No, but it is annoying to constantly have to like
- 5:19Speaker 1: bring food and brought the garage into the house, make it,
- 5:22Speaker 1: bring it back out. And so I believe today is
- 5:25Speaker 1: the day a new fridge being delivered to the Glitten House.
- 5:28Speaker 1: So I'm looking forward to that. It'll be nice to
- 5:31Speaker 1: just make a sandwich, throw the stuff back on in
- 5:34Speaker 1: the fridge, and be on my merry little way, as
- 5:36Speaker 1: opposed to go out to the fridge, grab all these things,
- 5:39Speaker 1: come back into the kitchen, go to the island, make
- 5:42Speaker 1: this little sandwich, bring it.
- 5:44Speaker 2: I would have been ordering take out this entire time.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Star Yeah, yeah, right, So I'm looking forward to that.
- 5:50Speaker 1: And a big shout out to Crystal here. Crystal's little victory,
- 5:55Speaker 1: pretty massive victory. She got a new car and she
- 5:58Speaker 1: got some personal indigenous plates.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Oh I wanted. Did she send us a picture?
- 6:04Speaker 3: She did.
- 6:04Speaker 1: She texted us a picture at seven oh one two
- 6:06Speaker 1: eight zero one, nine eighty seven. So hey, way to go, Crystal.
- 6:09Speaker 1: That's not a little victory. That's as victory.
- 6:12Speaker 3: Yeah, way to go.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Are you a girl?
- 6:19Speaker 1: If you are unaware? Angie and I are both very,
- 6:22Speaker 1: very big fans of Harry Potter. We love the movies,
- 6:26Speaker 1: love the books, can't wait for the show to come
- 6:28Speaker 1: out on HBO, and that's like Christmas.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Yeah, it's actually kind of coming up pretty soon here. Yeah.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Well, this just goes to show the die hard Harry
- 6:40Speaker 1: Potter fans out there and what a collective group of
- 6:44Speaker 1: people can get done. Okay, Harry Potter fans successfully pushed
- 6:49Speaker 1: for this major power cable project. You know, this is
- 6:54Speaker 1: like some government city kind of project to be rerouted
- 6:59Speaker 1: away from Dobby's fictional grave.
- 7:02Speaker 3: If you don't know who Dobby.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Is, he becomes a big, you know, fan of Harry Potter.
- 7:08Speaker 4: It's like his family boiler you had one hundred and
- 7:11Speaker 4: fifty two years.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Yeah, Dobby dies exactly.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Dobby is unalived in the seventh movie. Yeah, and there
- 7:21Speaker 1: is a grave made for Dobby and people all around
- 7:24Speaker 1: the world, go visit this grave and the location, and
- 7:29Speaker 1: they wanted to do this five hundred eighty million dollar
- 7:33Speaker 1: project through this grave. It was originally set to pass well,
- 7:37Speaker 1: not through it, but really close to it pretty much Well.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Fans weren't having any of it.
- 7:44Speaker 1: This project sparked hundreds and hundreds of calls and fans
- 7:50Speaker 1: who were not upset about this, to where people at
- 7:53Speaker 1: the company were like, who is Dobby, and someone obviously
- 7:58Speaker 1: familiar with the film or book had to explain like,
- 8:01Speaker 1: this is actually kind of a big deal. Okay if
- 8:03Speaker 1: we have the entire Harry Potter world on our ace, Yeah,
- 8:08Speaker 1: this is not going to go well for us. So
- 8:11Speaker 1: they changed this produ this project in Wales, this electric,
- 8:16Speaker 1: big giant thing to not go anywhere near this grave.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Harry Potter fans collectively changed a five hundred and eighty
- 8:24Speaker 1: million dollar project.
- 8:25Speaker 2: This is amazing.
- 8:26Speaker 4: This is like there's strength in numbers, the power of
- 8:29Speaker 4: the people.
- 8:30Speaker 2: I support this so fully.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Yeah, And so it kind of got me thinking if
- 8:35Speaker 1: there was a fan base that you did not want
- 8:38Speaker 1: to have kind of on your you know what, on
- 8:41Speaker 1: your case, I'll say, yeah, what fan base would it be?
- 8:44Speaker 1: I mean, you have the Bay hive. You got the
- 8:46Speaker 1: t Swifties. Yeah, you got the Harry Potter fan base.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Is there a fan base you would love to avoid
- 8:53Speaker 1: irritating at all costs? Whose fan base would it be?
- 8:57Speaker 1: Seven oh one two eight zero one to nine eight seven?
- 9:00Speaker 1: I do want to set a little rule here. I
- 9:01Speaker 1: think the easy cop out is Taylor's or Swifties because
- 9:05Speaker 1: there is just a billion of them. It's like the
- 9:07Speaker 1: probably one of the most popular fan bases on Earth.
- 9:10Speaker 1: If you have a gajillion people who hate your guts, yeah,
- 9:13Speaker 1: that probably is gonna stink. So no saying Taylor swift Yeah,
- 9:17Speaker 1: but any other fan base you don't want to have
- 9:19Speaker 1: come after you?
- 9:20Speaker 3: Let us know.
- 9:21Speaker 1: It's seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Because Harry Potter fans just re routed a five hundred
- 9:26Speaker 1: and eighty million dollar project.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Angie, who would you pick?
- 9:29Speaker 2: Oh? You want me to pick right now? I've been
- 9:31Speaker 2: trying to think about this.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Yeah, or do you want a couple of minutes?
- 9:34Speaker 1: No, I can give you a couple, you can, Yeah,
- 9:36Speaker 1: if you want a couple, they're so good.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Time all right, and coming up in about six minutes.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Here a fan base you don't want to have annoyed
- 9:43Speaker 1: at you seven oh one two eight zero one nine
- 9:46Speaker 1: eight seven. I have a fan base I wouldn't want
- 9:48Speaker 1: on my case just because there's so much death and
- 9:52Speaker 1: bloodshed in the thing I'm talking about.
- 9:54Speaker 3: Yeah, that'll be next.
- 9:55Speaker 1: I pick ninety eight point seven, and we brought the
- 9:59Speaker 1: ques today with one rule. You cannot use Swifties.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Just because that's squeezy.
- 10:05Speaker 1: She has some of the She has more fans than
- 10:07Speaker 1: just about anybody on earth too. But if there was
- 10:10Speaker 1: a collective group of fans that you did not want
- 10:13Speaker 1: to upset or have on your you know what, your case,
- 10:17Speaker 1: which fan base would it be? Seven oh one two
- 10:20Speaker 1: eight zero one nine eight seven, Angie, do you have
- 10:23Speaker 1: a fan base that if you really didn't want to upset,
- 10:26Speaker 1: who would it be.
- 10:27Speaker 4: It's not that I don't want to upset them, but
- 10:30Speaker 4: I have had this fan base on my case before,
- 10:33Speaker 4: and it's just annoying. I am an Eagles fan. Okay,
- 10:39Speaker 4: that's my football team.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Our rivals the Cowboys.
- 10:46Speaker 4: Oh okay, and let me tell you I don't care
- 10:51Speaker 4: like we're rivals and it's fine.
- 10:53Speaker 2: And maybe on game day when.
- 10:56Speaker 4: Our teams are against each other, specifically, I can understand
- 11:01Speaker 4: a little trash talk, but cowboying fans the second they
- 11:06Speaker 4: find out I'm an Eagles fan, just relentless like memes
- 11:10Speaker 4: and trash talking. It's like, we're not even in the season.
- 11:13Speaker 4: My god, it's we're not no one's playing. And then
- 11:17Speaker 4: any like celebratory thing like if the Eagles win a
- 11:21Speaker 4: game not against the Cowboys, every Cowboys fan I know
- 11:26Speaker 4: then craps all over that victory by citing other times
- 11:30Speaker 4: they lost to the Cowboys.
- 11:32Speaker 1: What.
- 11:32Speaker 2: I don't care. It's just very annoying.
- 11:35Speaker 4: It's a type of fandom that I'm not like into.
- 11:39Speaker 4: I will say this, typically Eagles fans are the same.
- 11:44Speaker 4: They're the way some of the worst I can't say that.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Eagles fans are absolutely annoying. Also squad.
- 11:55Speaker 4: I'm just saying I personally am not that type of fan.
- 11:59Speaker 2: So miss me with that cowboy fans.
- 12:02Speaker 4: I've unfriended people and it's like I can't talk to
- 12:04Speaker 4: you unless we're out of season and you're muted.
- 12:07Speaker 2: About my Facebook.
- 12:09Speaker 1: What about you, Gabe, I know what you mean. Well,
- 12:11Speaker 1: we do actually have Josh in Fargo. We'll get to
- 12:13Speaker 1: this one first. Josh said, I'm a huge star Wars fan,
- 12:17Speaker 1: and I just want to say, if you guys start
- 12:20Speaker 1: trashing the last Jedi, I'm turning the radio off.
- 12:23Speaker 3: I've heard enough. Don't worry, Josh, we are.
- 12:26Speaker 1: We are Star Wars fans here on Big ninety eight
- 12:30Speaker 1: point seven. Now, I actually can go ahead and leave
- 12:32Speaker 1: this Star Wars bedplane in the background because it is
- 12:35Speaker 1: owned by Disney, which is very funny because Kelly and
- 12:38Speaker 1: Moorehead said, as a Disney adult, I take offense to
- 12:41Speaker 1: the term Disney adult. Also, Epcot is the best park,
- 12:46Speaker 1: and I will not be taking questions. So Disney adults
- 12:49Speaker 1: don't want to have them upset at you.
- 12:51Speaker 2: No, that's actually true.
- 12:52Speaker 4: I've seen some Disney adults go fearal in a way
- 12:55Speaker 4: that I don't want any of that smoke.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Yeah, for me, I do not want these fans up
- 13:02Speaker 1: set at me at all. Game of Thrones fans, let
- 13:05Speaker 1: me start by saying Game of Thrones fans.
- 13:07Speaker 2: I mean, aren't you one? I'm one?
- 13:09Speaker 3: I love Game of Thrones. Yeah.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Game of Thrones fans got the two writers of the show,
- 13:15Speaker 1: not the author of the books, but the two writers
- 13:17Speaker 1: of the show.
- 13:17Speaker 4: Oh yeah, Bennyoffen and the other game Weiss or something
- 13:21Speaker 4: like that.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Yeah, Game of Thrones fans got them kicked off of
- 13:24Speaker 1: a Star Wars project. When Game of Thrones was done,
- 13:28Speaker 1: the season finale was hated so much and so many fans. Yeah,
- 13:34Speaker 1: the series finale was hated so much that fans complained
- 13:39Speaker 1: and they've tried to get the season rewritten and redone.
- 13:42Speaker 1: There's been petitions with millions of signatures.
- 13:45Speaker 2: I may have signed.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Yeah, that season, season seven or eight or whatever it was,
- 13:50Speaker 1: was hated so much that those writers who were going
- 13:54Speaker 1: to work for Star Wars were kicked off of Star Wars.
- 13:57Speaker 1: They're like nobody like star The Star Wars went no
- 14:01Speaker 1: hold on. You have millions of people who hate your guts.
- 14:05Speaker 1: You stay away from Princess Leah all right? Seven one
- 14:08Speaker 1: two eight zero one nine eight seven. Is there a
- 14:10Speaker 1: fan base that you know if you irritate make up set,
- 14:15Speaker 1: they are going to be on your case the one
- 14:17Speaker 1: you are the most afraid of?
- 14:19Speaker 3: Seven oh one two eight zero one night eight seven.
- 14:21Speaker 3: Let us know this morning.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Now, if you've ever been out with your kid and
- 14:30Speaker 1: they picked the worst time to just be fussy or
- 14:34Speaker 1: not listen or maybe even get a little bit of
- 14:36Speaker 1: an attitude, I promise you it is not nearly as
- 14:39Speaker 1: embarrassing as this poor woman. There was a flight in
- 14:42Speaker 1: Canada that was canceled ended no more when a child
- 14:48Speaker 1: refused to sit down and fasten their seat belt. Right
- 14:53Speaker 1: as this flight was getting ready for takeoff. The child
- 14:55Speaker 1: stood up and hid under the seat. The parent and
- 14:58Speaker 1: the crew they tried for ever to get this child secured,
- 15:01Speaker 1: but they just wouldn't do it, wouldn't cooperate. The plane
- 15:05Speaker 1: returned to the terminal, and then the airport's midnight closing
- 15:08Speaker 1: time hit. What's meant, the entire flight was canceled. All
- 15:12Speaker 1: one hundred and fifty passengers were rebooked for the next day,
- 15:16Speaker 1: all because one kid said, you know, I'm not buckling up.
- 15:19Speaker 1: So the next time you're at targeting little Timmy or
- 15:22Speaker 1: little Stacy is having a tough time, just know that
- 15:25Speaker 1: at least Target's not gonna close down. And at the
- 15:27Speaker 1: rebook one hundred and fifty flights, that is like my
- 15:31Speaker 1: heart rate waiting anxiety. Yeah, that's awful.
- 15:34Speaker 4: My kids have been a little me on a plane before,
- 15:37Speaker 4: like when it was mask Mandate back in like twenty
- 15:40Speaker 4: twenty one. Yeah, Liam, who was way little at the time,
- 15:44Speaker 4: was like yelling, I.
- 15:45Speaker 2: Will not put on this mask. Oh calm down. But
- 15:50Speaker 2: that was fine. I think the worst though, there was
- 15:53Speaker 2: a time.
- 15:53Speaker 4: You know what it is this and you'll experience this
- 15:55Speaker 4: at some point, Gabee, thanks, is that you'll be out
- 15:59Speaker 4: and then right when you come across a group of people,
- 16:05Speaker 4: that's when your kid will accuse you of something that's
- 16:08Speaker 4: absolutely untrue, and then everyone's gonna look at you like
- 16:11Speaker 4: you're a terrible parent. I was at a botanical garden
- 16:15Speaker 4: walking through with Aiden.
- 16:16Speaker 2: He was seven, and he had eaten a.
- 16:19Speaker 4: Big breakfast because all this boy does is eat, yeah,
- 16:23Speaker 4: big meals at every meal, like he's a voracious eater.
- 16:26Speaker 3: There's just no meal, it's just meal yea.
- 16:30Speaker 4: So we're walking through it was not even close to
- 16:33Speaker 4: being lunchtime, and he's bothering me when can we eat?
- 16:37Speaker 4: When can we get lunch? When can we eat? And
- 16:39Speaker 4: I'm like, we're not eating yet, it's not lunchtime. At lunchtime,
- 16:42Speaker 4: we will eat. He kept badgering me.
- 16:43Speaker 2: He kept badgering me.
- 16:44Speaker 4: Finally, when we're walking across and a huge group of
- 16:49Speaker 4: people is standing by, Aidan yells, I can't believe you
- 16:53Speaker 4: didn't feed me I can't believe you just want me.
- 16:57Speaker 3: To star Oh nice?
- 17:00Speaker 4: Yeah, and then I mean just several pairs of eyes
- 17:03Speaker 4: looking at me. And the thing is, even though he's
- 17:06Speaker 4: always been a big eater, he's got a high metabolism.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Especially at seven, he was a skinny.
- 17:11Speaker 4: Kid, so I very well could have been starving him,
- 17:15Speaker 4: but I wasn't.
- 17:17Speaker 3: Yeah, and then you can't.
- 17:18Speaker 2: I guess you can.
- 17:19Speaker 4: But that's weird to be like, no, no, no, I
- 17:21Speaker 4: do feed him, because then it's like why a hey.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Group of people, I don't know. I want you to
- 17:25Speaker 1: know that I do feed this kid. He's just having
- 17:27Speaker 1: a moment.
- 17:28Speaker 4: And then it's like, well, if you have to tell
- 17:29Speaker 4: us are you feeding him? It's a lose lose, and
- 17:32Speaker 4: I can't wait for you to experience that with your child.
- 17:35Speaker 3: It seven oh one two eight zero one, nine eighty seven.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Did you ever have a moment with the kid that
- 17:40Speaker 1: you know either was really embarrassing out in public or
- 17:43Speaker 1: there was just a moment they refused to listen. I
- 17:46Speaker 1: can almost promise, almost promise, it's probably not as bad
- 17:49Speaker 1: as having an entire flight canceled for one hundred and
- 17:52Speaker 1: fifty people.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Totally.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Now I have a twenty six day old baby, and
- 17:57Speaker 1: she has been in a couple restaurants in her life.
- 18:00Speaker 1: We've started to kind of navigate the open world with
- 18:03Speaker 1: Kaylee and thankfully it's both gone great. You know, she
- 18:07Speaker 1: just kind of sits in her stroller in her car seats.
- 18:09Speaker 1: She either looks around or she just sleeps the whole time. Yes, sullen, Yeah,
- 18:12Speaker 1: I have not had to experience the can you quick
- 18:15Speaker 1: get me the check? I will run outside of this kid, please,
- 18:17Speaker 1: we'll get out of here. We know this is the worst,
- 18:19Speaker 1: YadA YadA, YadA. I haven't dealt with that. And she's
- 18:21Speaker 1: like a baby, but you know, the only way she
- 18:23Speaker 1: complains about things is by crying. Yeah, so I haven't
- 18:25Speaker 1: really experienced the old public embarrassment or the shame I
- 18:29Speaker 1: would assume you feel when.
- 18:30Speaker 3: I'm under her eyes. But but it's on the way.
- 18:33Speaker 3: I'm sure.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Right now, we're two for two, So big shout out
- 18:35Speaker 1: to Plaza Azteca yesterday for allowing Kaylee to sit in
- 18:39Speaker 1: there and chill and look a rout through all the
- 18:41Speaker 1: windows in what have you. But we do have Tanya
- 18:43Speaker 1: on the phone. Tanya was there a time the kid
- 18:45Speaker 1: just wouldn't listen.
- 18:47Speaker 6: My daughter would not get out of the pool, so
- 18:49Speaker 6: I gave her three mornings and then just finally walked
- 18:52Speaker 6: over and carried her out, dinged the entire way like
- 18:56Speaker 6: I was kidnapping her.
- 18:58Speaker 1: My mom did that to me at church. There was
- 19:01Speaker 1: like a performance we had to do for Sunday school. Yeah,
- 19:04Speaker 1: and I don't really I to this day, I don't
- 19:07Speaker 1: really know what happened. I don't know if I wasn't
- 19:09Speaker 1: like participating the way she wanted, or if I was
- 19:12Speaker 1: just standing there.
- 19:13Speaker 3: I don't really know why she did this.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Yeah, but she walks in front of the whole congregation,
- 19:18Speaker 1: grabs me off the stage and walked me right out.
- 19:21Speaker 3: I don't know what I was doing. I don't think
- 19:23Speaker 3: I was messing around, you know what.
- 19:24Speaker 4: You're probably like putting bunny ears behind people or something.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Was like goofing off. Yeah, I just I don't remember
- 19:30Speaker 1: what I did. The next thing, I know, I'm just
- 19:32Speaker 1: over my mom's shoulder. I was wearing this yellow shirt,
- 19:34Speaker 1: these yellow like smiley faced shorts. I'm not sure what
- 19:38Speaker 1: was going on. But we do have Robbie on the
- 19:40Speaker 1: phone as well. Robbie, what about you man?
- 19:43Speaker 6: One time, my son absolutely refused to leave the playground.
- 19:46Speaker 6: I tried giving him a couple of choices, but he
- 19:49Speaker 6: wasn't having any of it, and eventually I just had
- 19:51Speaker 6: to pick him up and carry him to the car,
- 19:53Speaker 6: and he was mad at me the whole ride home.
- 19:57Speaker 4: Yeah, this is not making a good case for gentle
- 19:59Speaker 4: pairsarantine Yeah, like, here are your choices, they don't care.
- 20:03Speaker 1: It sounds like Robbie gave a couple of choices and
- 20:06Speaker 1: none of them were the right one seven oh one, two,
- 20:08Speaker 1: eight zero one, nine eighty seven. Did you ever have
- 20:10Speaker 1: a fussy kid that just wouldn't listen? And it seemed
- 20:13Speaker 1: to be the worst timing ever?
- 20:17Speaker 3: This is am I the problem?
- 20:20Speaker 2: It's me Hi following the problem.
- 20:23Speaker 4: It's me.
- 20:24Speaker 3: We'll hear one side of the story and with your.
- 20:27Speaker 5: Help decide if it's right or if maybe you're the problem.
- 20:32Speaker 3: That's right, I am the problem.
- 20:35Speaker 5: On Big ninety eight point seven, How.
- 20:38Speaker 4: Can Stella make her man quit? Or is she wrong
- 20:42Speaker 4: for wanting him to?
- 20:44Speaker 2: Hi? Angie, Hi Gabe.
- 20:46Speaker 4: My husband has been paying for a membership to the
- 20:48Speaker 4: same gym for fifteen years. Fifteen years, teen years, that's
- 20:54Speaker 4: a long time since before we even met. But he
- 20:58Speaker 4: goes twice a year at best, and it's always I
- 21:03Speaker 4: think she meant. When we're discussing the budget and I
- 21:07Speaker 4: suggest cutting it, he says it's so cheap, so who cares?
- 21:11Speaker 4: But that obviously adds up thirty dollars a month for fifteen.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Years is insane.
- 21:16Speaker 4: He's not even overweight, totally average build in a good way,
- 21:21Speaker 4: so he definitely doesn't need it, but refuses to cancel.
- 21:25Speaker 4: What can I tell this man to get him to
- 21:28Speaker 4: give up this for no reason membership? What is the
- 21:32Speaker 4: point Stella? Have you ever tried to cancel a gym membership?
- 21:37Speaker 4: What if he literally can't?
- 21:39Speaker 3: It is so hard.
- 21:40Speaker 1: They do everything they can, just shy of actually going
- 21:45Speaker 1: into your bank account to take the money, yes, to
- 21:48Speaker 1: keep you at the gym.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Well, I've tried to cancel.
- 21:51Speaker 4: There was a gym in Idaho, which, by the way,
- 21:54Speaker 4: have not lived in Idaho since twenty twenty. It took
- 21:58Speaker 4: me four years to cancel it, not for lack of trying. Yeah,
- 22:04Speaker 4: it was a bunch of emails. It was well, maybe
- 22:06Speaker 4: try an axiom where you live. You don't have one here, Well,
- 22:10Speaker 4: maybe you should. Is there any time you'll come back
- 22:14Speaker 4: to visit you can use our membership when I'm never
- 22:17Speaker 4: going back to Idaho, Like, please let me cancel. It
- 22:20Speaker 4: took four years and finally, after a lot of emails
- 22:24Speaker 4: to corporate, they said, we can take that care of
- 22:27Speaker 4: that for you. Yeah, So how do you know Stella
- 22:30Speaker 4: that he hasn't been trying to quit for fifteen years and.
- 22:34Speaker 2: That just won't let him out and they won't let
- 22:36Speaker 2: him out.
- 22:37Speaker 3: I had a very similar story.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Corey and I had a gym membership when we lived
- 22:40Speaker 1: in Iowa, and when we moved here, we tried calling
- 22:43Speaker 1: to cancel it and they basically just said, well no.
- 22:48Speaker 1: And so what we did is we got a bank
- 22:51Speaker 1: here in the FM area and we had asked them like,
- 22:54Speaker 1: hey is it what can we do about this gym
- 22:57Speaker 1: membership that we're trying to get out of and she
- 22:59Speaker 1: literally said, well, with this new bank, when you have
- 23:01Speaker 1: all of your money transferred over and you no longer
- 23:04Speaker 1: have any need for that other bank, uh, just don't
- 23:08Speaker 1: contact the gym anymore. When that shows up as like
- 23:11Speaker 1: declined or zero funds or whatever, after a handful of months,
- 23:15Speaker 1: they'll just get the point.
- 23:16Speaker 3: Wow, we just never you had to do a full
- 23:20Speaker 3: bank switch.
- 23:21Speaker 1: That's actually the way you do it, Stella. You get
- 23:23Speaker 1: a new bank, and your husband get a brand new bank. Yeah, okay,
- 23:26Speaker 1: get a whole new account, and then the bank or
- 23:29Speaker 1: the gym, excuse me, won't be able to charge anymore
- 23:31Speaker 1: because they don't have any bank account info from.
- 23:33Speaker 4: You, truthfully, because I can't understand why he would want
- 23:38Speaker 4: to keep this membership seven oh one two eight ozho
- 23:41Speaker 4: one nine eight seven.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Is there anyone who is on this man's side?
- 23:45Speaker 4: Or what can Stella say to her man that he'll say, fine,
- 23:50Speaker 4: I will quit the gym.
- 23:52Speaker 1: And you know, I kind of have a feeling I
- 23:54Speaker 1: know where these comments are gonna go.
- 23:55Speaker 3: You be very careful about he needs to cancel it?
- 23:58Speaker 3: What a child?
- 23:59Speaker 1: Blah blah blah blah. How many things are you paying
- 24:01Speaker 1: for right now that you don't have a clue on.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Don't come in our comments saying he needs to cancel it.
- 24:07Speaker 3: That's so stupid.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Good tell me how much money you're spending on your
- 24:10Speaker 1: phone right now, and then let me go ahead in
- 24:12Speaker 1: there and look and see how much you're really spaking.
- 24:14Speaker 2: Okay, that's the end of that. Please tell us whatever
- 24:17Speaker 2: you want.
- 24:17Speaker 4: Don't listen a game We also have this up on
- 24:21Speaker 4: the Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page.
- 24:28Speaker 3: This might be the most relatable am I the problem
- 24:30Speaker 3: of all time?
- 24:31Speaker 2: Fella wants her husband.
- 24:32Speaker 4: To quit his gym membership because he's been paying for
- 24:36Speaker 4: it for fifteen years and quite literally only goes maybe
- 24:40Speaker 4: twice a year. Yeah, the math is not mathing there
- 24:43Speaker 4: on it being cost effective. So she wants to know
- 24:47Speaker 4: what can I say to this man to make him quit?
- 24:49Speaker 4: Or is she wrong for wanting him to? I think
- 24:52Speaker 4: what she doesn't know is that he's probably been trying
- 24:56Speaker 4: to quit for.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Some time and the gym will not allow it.
- 25:00Speaker 3: Yeah, they just say no and then keep it pushing.
- 25:02Speaker 4: But if it's If that's not the case, then what
- 25:04Speaker 4: can she say to get him to stop?
- 25:05Speaker 2: Because what is the point?
- 25:07Speaker 1: Well, also, you know it might be like ten years
- 25:09Speaker 1: too late, maybe five years in and you're like, Okay,
- 25:12Speaker 1: we really don't or you really don't use this. Could
- 25:14Speaker 1: we find an alternative or something? It's been fifteen years.
- 25:18Speaker 3: Do you think his point? Who cares?
- 25:20Speaker 4: Do you think he's just like I really am loyal
- 25:23Speaker 4: and love to be in a committed relationship.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Maybe he really wants to help other people at the gym.
- 25:30Speaker 1: His membership helps pay for upgrades, new weightlifting equipment, other
- 25:34Speaker 1: people getting fit.
- 25:35Speaker 3: Maybe that's his help to society.
- 25:38Speaker 4: That is an absolutely insane take and only one that
- 25:43Speaker 4: you would give. Connie said, maybe he considers it something
- 25:48Speaker 4: that is just his, not yours, not ours, just his.
- 25:52Speaker 4: It could be his escape, and if he only uses
- 25:55Speaker 4: it a couple times a year, I'd say, you're doing good.
- 26:01Speaker 4: You know what. That was an incredibly kind take, and
- 26:05Speaker 4: I don't have those of my own.
- 26:06Speaker 1: Maybe he just likes having it so that if he
- 26:09Speaker 1: ever needs to go, wants to go burn off some
- 26:11Speaker 1: steam or get out of the house, he always has it,
- 26:14Speaker 1: and the thirty bucks a month doesn't bother him that much.
- 26:17Speaker 4: I wonder if this is a case of, you know,
- 26:20Speaker 4: when you have that box of cables in your garage
- 26:23Speaker 4: that you quite literally never.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Use for anything.
- 26:26Speaker 4: It just goes with you with every move from house
- 26:29Speaker 4: to apartment to house to.
- 26:30Speaker 3: House minus in closet.
- 26:32Speaker 4: In our second Bookay, yes, you always bring those cad
- 26:34Speaker 4: you never use them.
- 26:35Speaker 2: So then finally, after a decade or so, you think
- 26:39Speaker 2: I could probably get rid of this box.
- 26:41Speaker 4: You get rid of it, and then immediately the next
- 26:44Speaker 4: week I need the cable that was in that box.
- 26:47Speaker 4: I wonder if for him it's that I'm not ever
- 26:49Speaker 4: gonna go to the gym, and then the second he
- 26:52Speaker 4: cancels it, it's gonna be.
- 26:54Speaker 2: That he's hit with this like hunger to be super thick.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Yeah, and then the membership will you know, hopefully obviously
- 27:01Speaker 1: nothing serious. I'm not saying that, but maybe it'll just
- 27:03Speaker 1: be a health thing where they're like, oh, hey, maybe
- 27:05Speaker 1: to lower the blood pressure, we gotta get some ca Yeah, yeah, yeah, something,
- 27:09Speaker 1: you know.
- 27:09Speaker 4: Maybe that's why he's holding onto. Yeah, we really are
- 27:12Speaker 4: rooting for this man.
- 27:14Speaker 3: Well, it's just funny.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Everyone's dad, you know, has that piece of wood in
- 27:17Speaker 1: the garage that he has never used and it's been
- 27:20Speaker 1: there for forty years. Yeah, but he is waiting for
- 27:23Speaker 1: the moment where that piece of wood is going to
- 27:24Speaker 1: fit an exact project, exact shape that he needs.
- 27:27Speaker 3: Maybe this is like that gym membership.
- 27:30Speaker 2: I think we're looking at this.
- 27:32Speaker 4: All wrong, Stella, unless that thirty dollars a month is
- 27:35Speaker 4: really breaking you, in which case, Umbro, you got to
- 27:38Speaker 4: cancel the membership. Yeah, but yeah, maybe just let him
- 27:41Speaker 4: have it and this can be like the thing you
- 27:43Speaker 4: always bring up at Thanksgiving.
- 27:45Speaker 2: Hey, he's still got that gym membership.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, Linda said, I'm in the same boat as
- 27:50Speaker 1: he is. I pay for a membership on my Oculus
- 27:52Speaker 1: and I can't remember the last time I used it.
- 27:55Speaker 3: How relatable. And then maybe this.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Is your sign to cancel it, Linda.
- 27:59Speaker 3: Yeah right, Julia said. And I don't hate this either.
- 28:02Speaker 1: It looks like Stella gets some extra fun money every
- 28:04Speaker 1: month to spend until he does cancel.
- 28:07Speaker 2: That's a good movie.
- 28:08Speaker 3: Take thirty bucks and I don't know, I'll go to
- 28:09Speaker 3: a movie.
- 28:10Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, be like okay, Then, if you're gonna spend
- 28:13Speaker 4: thirty dollars on nothing, I want to spend thirty dollars
- 28:15Speaker 4: on something.
- 28:17Speaker 3: Yeah right.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Amanda said, I had a subscription to ABC Mouse for years,
- 28:23Speaker 1: and my kids never used it. I paid over six
- 28:25Speaker 1: hundred dollars for this subscription over the years. See very relatable.
- 28:29Speaker 1: Lot of people with subscriptions they don't use. I don't
- 28:33Speaker 1: know if there's really a right or wrong answer to this,
- 28:35Speaker 1: other than maybe just finding a middle ground. Well, I
- 28:43Speaker 1: don't have nearly as much hair to wit back and
- 28:45Speaker 1: forth anymore, Angie. I did get a haircut yesterday, I
- 28:48Speaker 1: have completed my deal with Angie on our super Bowl bet.
- 28:53Speaker 1: It was a long running bet and Mjcopelli set me free.
- 28:58Speaker 4: Yeah that was whoever you know picked the winning super
- 29:04Speaker 4: Bowl team. Then there was consequences. I chose the Seahawks
- 29:08Speaker 4: to win, which meant that Gabe had to grow out
- 29:10Speaker 4: his hair until the birth of his daughter, which just
- 29:13Speaker 4: happened last month.
- 29:14Speaker 3: So I gave you an extra couple of weeks.
- 29:17Speaker 2: You did, but boy was that hair out of control.
- 29:20Speaker 4: So yeah, we headed to MJ Capelli and Chloe, I
- 29:24Speaker 4: mean work term magic because you have not looked this
- 29:27Speaker 4: good since I met you. Gabe Gliden.
- 29:29Speaker 2: Wow, yeah, no, you're looking amazing.
- 29:31Speaker 3: I appreciate you.
- 29:32Speaker 4: And if you want to get a dope haircut at
- 29:34Speaker 4: MJ Cappelli, today's the day to do it. It's walking Wednesdays.
- 29:38Speaker 4: They do at all three locations all day long. You
- 29:41Speaker 4: walk in and you get an incredible haircut for just
- 29:44Speaker 4: twenty five dollars.
- 29:45Speaker 1: Yeah, it's all day long, no appointment necessary, kind of
- 29:48Speaker 1: just you know, the first come, first serve situation at
- 29:51Speaker 1: all of the MJ Capelly locations. And we did kind
- 29:55Speaker 1: of document this prospously. Yes, and so we will have
- 29:58Speaker 1: a video on big is it on right now about
- 30:02Speaker 1: to be?
- 30:02Speaker 4: I want to post it right now because I mean
- 30:06Speaker 4: the magic that was worked on this head of Harry
- 30:08Speaker 4: or his needs to be witnessed now.
- 30:10Speaker 3: If you don't know this as well.
- 30:11Speaker 1: For about a decade, I have just kind of buzzed
- 30:15Speaker 1: my own hair and my wife Corey would help me
- 30:18Speaker 1: with any of the parts I couldn't see or missed
- 30:20Speaker 1: or reach.
- 30:21Speaker 3: It was very very simple.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Uh uh not great, but I'll be an easy process
- 30:26Speaker 1: for me to just do this by myself. So I
- 30:28Speaker 1: have not sat down to get a haircut by a
- 30:30Speaker 1: professional in upwards of ten years.
- 30:33Speaker 4: And this is why you look so good, because you
- 30:35Speaker 4: had a professional who knew what she was doing, work
- 30:39Speaker 4: her magic and honestly, I mean chef's kiss. And you've
- 30:42Speaker 4: looked at your you already look at yourself in any
- 30:44Speaker 4: reflective way.
- 30:46Speaker 2: A lot, but like you're doing it even more, to
- 30:49Speaker 2: which I say, yay, do that you look great? And
- 30:53Speaker 2: m J.
- 30:53Speaker 4: Capelli really I mean you they hooked you up. You're
- 30:56Speaker 4: looking good.
- 30:57Speaker 3: My guys, thank you.
- 30:58Speaker 1: I appreciate that you know the only the only bummer
- 31:00Speaker 1: And this is not an mjcpelly issue.
- 31:02Speaker 3: This is a me issue.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Yea, as Chloe got it looking great, you know, got
- 31:07Speaker 1: the product in there, had me styled up ready to
- 31:10Speaker 1: rock and roll. I woke up this morning, you know,
- 31:12Speaker 1: doing the old teeth brush. Check out how the locks
- 31:15Speaker 1: are looking after this wonderful haircut.
- 31:17Speaker 3: Yeah, and when I don't know how to do this
- 31:19Speaker 3: as good as Chloe, so I just let it rock
- 31:22Speaker 3: no whatever.
- 31:23Speaker 4: But you know what, they also, I need you to
- 31:25Speaker 4: get your life together because they also they have some
- 31:28Speaker 4: great hair products at m jacobelly and they sent you
- 31:31Speaker 4: home with you just.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Need to do do some tinkering over there.
- 31:34Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, we'll have to do some practice. But we
- 31:37Speaker 1: did post three different kind of hairstyles or haircuts on
- 31:41Speaker 1: the Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page. We left
- 31:43Speaker 1: it up to you, and here's what happened. One and
- 31:48Speaker 1: three had a ton of votes, and so what we
- 31:53Speaker 1: did was we just met in the middle. So if
- 31:55Speaker 1: you remember seeing the three pictures of the three hairstyles
- 31:58Speaker 1: and you really liked one, or you really liked three,
- 32:00Speaker 1: or you told me to get a mohawk or a mullet,
- 32:02Speaker 1: what we did was combine all of them into just one, yeah.
- 32:07Speaker 4: One, and three had a baby. And that's what's the
- 32:09Speaker 4: top of your head right now. And that's looking real good.
- 32:11Speaker 4: So that's right out to MJ. Capelli. Shout out to
- 32:13Speaker 4: Chloe for hooking it up. And again you can get
- 32:16Speaker 4: a dope hair cut today for just twenty five dollars
- 32:18Speaker 4: with walking Wednesdays, all three locations, all day long.
- 32:24Speaker 3: I need some good.
- 32:27Speaker 5: Starting off the day with something good. This is Gabe's
- 32:31Speaker 5: good news on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 32:34Speaker 1: You know what something people from the Midwest might hear
- 32:37Speaker 1: a lot or you know, North Dakota, Minnesota, South Dakota, Iowa,
- 32:41Speaker 1: any of these states. You hear a lot from people
- 32:44Speaker 1: who don't live in these states about oh, like, what
- 32:47Speaker 1: do you even do there?
- 32:48Speaker 3: There's nothing to do. Well.
- 32:50Speaker 1: There is a Fargo writer who basically was said, oh yeah, well,
