- 1:12Speaker 3: We leave no rock unturned. The last time we were together,
- 1:18Speaker 3: we were in Jeremiah chapter 20. Verses one through six.
- 1:25Speaker 3: And we saw Jeremiah straight get rejected by the high priest.
- 1:34Speaker 3: By Asher, I believe that's his name. And he beat
- 1:40Speaker 3: our prophets and threw them into stocks. And it was
- 1:46Speaker 3: not a good situation. And so in this chapter, we're
- 1:52Speaker 3: going to see his heart. We're going to see how
- 1:56Speaker 3: frustrated our prophet got. And we're going to learn. We're
- 2:00Speaker 3: going to glean from it. We're going to get some revelation.
- 2:04Speaker 3: And hopefully we can get some instruction that we can
- 2:10Speaker 3: apply to our own lives, to our own situations, to
- 2:14Speaker 3: our very own circumstances.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Amen. Amen.

- 3:13Speaker 3: to sign up in both places and Because on this podcast,
- 3:18Speaker 3: we believe that the engrafted word is able to save
- 3:21Speaker 3: our souls if we just take time to examine it,
- 3:24Speaker 3: take time to apply it. And one of the things
- 3:27Speaker 3: that will help us stay on that narrow path is
- 3:30Speaker 3: helping each other stay accountable. We pray for one another.
- 3:34Speaker 3: We share things that we may be tempted with, areas
- 3:39Speaker 3: where we may be struggling, areas where we may be
- 3:42Speaker 3: getting attacked. And it's good to have a friend that
- 3:48Speaker 3: can come to us and say, you know what? This
- 3:51Speaker 3: is God's word. This is God's will. We need to
- 3:56Speaker 3: keep our hearts clean. Amen. And so that's what we
- 4:02Speaker 3: do in the accountability partner segment. Or should I also
- 4:07Speaker 3: say section of the community on the app? So go
- 4:11Speaker 3: ahead and download the app. jump into it. And also,

- 4:28Speaker 3: go before Father in prayer. Heavenly Father, we just ask
- 4:31Speaker 3: that you will saturate us with your presence. We ask,
- 4:35Speaker 3: oh God, for the anointing to go forth. We ask, Lord,
- 4:39Speaker 3: that you would be glorified, God, that this podcast O Lord,
- 4:43Speaker 3: we'll build your kingdom, O God. We ask, Father God,
- 4:46Speaker 3: that those who will listen to it will have a
- 4:49Speaker 3: built-in blessing, O God, just to listen to it all
- 4:52Speaker 3: the way through. Those, O God, that will submit to instruction, understanding,
- 4:58Speaker 3: and to your word, O God. May your word, O God,
- 5:01Speaker 3: come to pass. We ask, Father God, O Lord, for
- 5:05Speaker 3: grace and for strength, O God, to get through this podcast, Lord.
- 5:10Speaker 3: We ask that The radio station will function the way
- 5:14Speaker 3: it's supposed to. We ask, Father God, that all devices
- 5:18Speaker 3: will function and connect. No technical issues, oh God. And
- 5:22Speaker 3: we ask this in Jesus' name. Amen and amen. All right, y'all.
- 5:29Speaker 3: All right, so we're picking up Jeremiah chapter 20. And
- 5:34Speaker 3: we're starting in verse 7. We're only going to do
- 5:37Speaker 3: a couple of verses today, but it's going to be powerful.
- 5:42Speaker 3: As I said, we're going to look at Jeremiah's heart
- 5:46Speaker 3: as his haters just keep coming after him. You know
- 5:49Speaker 3: what I mean? And I can relate. I'll share my
- 5:54Speaker 3: heart as we go through these scriptures. Amen. Of what
- 5:57Speaker 3: I've experienced in ministry. But verse seven says, Oh Lord,
- 6:03Speaker 3: you inclined me and I was persuaded. You are stronger
- 6:08Speaker 3: than I, and I have you. You are stronger than
- 6:13Speaker 3: I and have prevailed. I am in derision daily. Everyone
- 6:21Speaker 3: mocks me. Amen. Now, I love the honesty of his heart, right? Now,
- 6:33Speaker 3: another version depends on what version you're reading. It all says, Oh, Lord,
- 6:38Speaker 3: thou has deceived me. Jeremiah feels that he has been
- 6:43Speaker 3: deceived by the Lord God Almighty, right? He begins this
- 6:49Speaker 3: section with some extremely honest words. He gets brutally honest
- 6:57Speaker 3: before God. And you know what? That's what God wants us.
- 7:00Speaker 3: He wants us to be honest. He wants us to
- 7:05Speaker 3: come real before his throne. Oh Lord, thou has deceived
- 7:12Speaker 3: me and I was deceived. Now that can sound like
- 7:17Speaker 3: a shocking statement because we know that there is no
- 7:22Speaker 3: deception that comes out of the lips of the Lord.
- 7:25Speaker 3: The Bible says a liar will not tarry in my sight.
- 7:29Speaker 3: We know that God is a holy God. We understand this,
- 7:32Speaker 3: but this is how he feels, right? And this is
- 7:36Speaker 3: how important it is to have an accountability partner Because
- 7:40Speaker 3: our hearts can deceive us.
- 7:42Speaker 5: Right?
- 7:44Speaker 3: Our hearts can lead us astray. That's why the Bible says,
- 7:48Speaker 3: guard your heart for out of it are the issues
- 7:51Speaker 3: of life. Even in this book of Jeremiah, the people
- 7:57Speaker 3: were in trouble because they followed the dictates of their
- 8:01Speaker 3: very own hearts.
- 8:05Speaker 5: Right?
- 8:07Speaker 3: So here's his heart telling him, that God deceived him,
- 8:12Speaker 3: but he was speaking from a place of frustration. Our
- 8:15Speaker 3: emotions can have a huge part in our decisions, our outlook,
- 8:24Speaker 3: our understanding. That's why we cannot be led by our feelings,
- 8:28Speaker 3: our emotions, but we have to be led by the spirit,
- 8:32Speaker 3: led by God's word. If we're going to have a
- 8:35Speaker 3: clarity of who God is, have a clarity in the
- 8:40Speaker 3: call of God in our lives, in the situations that
- 8:43Speaker 3: we face on a daily basis. We cannot allow our
- 8:47Speaker 3: emotions to get the best of us because he feels
- 8:50Speaker 3: like he was persuaded into an assignment that brought him
- 8:57Speaker 3: nothing but trouble and grief. And man, how many of
- 9:01Speaker 3: us can relate? Those of us who have answered the
- 9:05Speaker 3: call that God has placed on our lives, right? He was,
- 9:13Speaker 3: he was a faithful preacher of God's word. He told
- 9:18Speaker 3: the people exactly what God told him, right? He said
- 9:23Speaker 3: what God told him to say. And instead of being celebrated,
- 9:28Speaker 3: he was mocked, he was beaten, and he was rejected. Now,
- 9:36Speaker 3: I want to share my personal experience with this. You
- 9:40Speaker 3: would think that people would celebrate, especially people in a church,
- 9:44Speaker 3: would celebrate the fact that I opened up a Christian
- 9:51Speaker 3: club in the middle of Sin City. We were not
- 9:55Speaker 3: too far from the strip. We were off of Patrick
- 9:58Speaker 3: Lane in Antioquia. where it was at the cross streets, 5,000
- 10:03Speaker 3: square foot warehouse. You would think that people of God
- 10:06Speaker 3: would come and celebrate. You would think that we had
- 10:09Speaker 3: a place for people to come minister, for people to
- 10:13Speaker 3: come and express their gifts and talents, for people to
- 10:17Speaker 3: come and preach the word. But no, it was the opposite.
- 10:21Speaker 3: People were actually upset. Pastors were upset. People just came
- 10:30Speaker 3: against me. Even the areas where it was true, where
- 10:37Speaker 3: they would gossip against me and things like that, they
- 10:41Speaker 3: didn't cover me in love. They exposed me. As a
- 10:45Speaker 3: matter of fact, one artist... I was talking to him
- 10:50Speaker 3: in my DMs, I believe. We were talking about an
- 10:53Speaker 3: event or talking about a situation. And this artist, I
- 10:57Speaker 3: guess he didn't like what I was saying or whatever.
- 11:01Speaker 3: He took a screenshot of the conversation and put it
- 11:05Speaker 3: out on social media, put me on blast for everyone
- 11:08Speaker 3: to see. Now, how is that godly? How is that
- 11:14Speaker 3: showing brotherly love? How is that celebrating God? the call
- 11:18Speaker 3: of God in my life, you know, it was not
- 11:22Speaker 3: about me. It was about reaching our community. And so
- 11:27Speaker 3: I can relate. I mean, I wasn't beaten, thank God,
- 11:30Speaker 3: but I was mocked. I was hated on. There's a
- 11:35Speaker 3: lot of things that happened. And in my immaturity at
- 11:39Speaker 3: the time, of course, you know, I wish I would
- 11:42Speaker 3: have made better decisions. And trust me, I forgive. I'm
- 11:46Speaker 3: just You know, I'm not speaking out of hatred. I'm
- 11:50Speaker 3: not trying to put anyone on blast. I'm not calling
- 11:53Speaker 3: out any names at all. But I'm just saying that
- 11:57Speaker 3: just because you've decided to fulfill the call of God
- 12:01Speaker 3: on your life, don't expect people to celebrate you, especially
- 12:06Speaker 3: people from the church. That's where I got the most opposition.
- 12:12Speaker 3: But God still has a faithful fruit, a faithful fruit.
- 12:16Speaker 3: God still has a faithful few that will have your back.
- 12:22Speaker 3: And they will pray for you. God has assigned to
- 12:26Speaker 3: you to fulfill his work in this earth. Amen. But
- 12:32Speaker 3: back to the scripture, Jeremiah is expressing the frustration of
- 12:36Speaker 3: a man who is faithfully obedient to God's call. And
- 12:40Speaker 3: now he's experiencing the painful consequences of his obedience. His
- 12:49Speaker 3: words reveal that even God's servant can reach moments of
- 12:53Speaker 3: discouragement and wonder why their calling has brought so much suffering.
- 13:02Speaker 3: And I appreciate his honesty because sometimes we think that
- 13:07Speaker 3: we're really walking with God, that we would never go
- 13:12Speaker 3: through anything, right? We would never be frustrated if we
- 13:15Speaker 3: were really walking with God. We would not go through
- 13:19Speaker 3: suffering and pain, but that's not true. Jeremiah, he loved God.
- 13:24Speaker 3: Jeremiah was called by God himself. Jeremiah was doing what
- 13:30Speaker 3: God told him to do. Sometimes that's just a struggle
- 13:34Speaker 3: by itself, fasting and praying and hearing from God and
- 13:38Speaker 3: knowing that this is God's will. And Jeremiah was still
- 13:44Speaker 3: having a hard time. I can love God and still
- 13:51Speaker 3: have a bad day. You know what I mean? I
- 13:53Speaker 3: can trust God and still ask questions. I can be
- 13:59Speaker 3: faithful and still get tired. Discouragement doesn't automatically mean you've
- 14:05Speaker 3: lost your faith. Sometimes it simply means that you are
- 14:12Speaker 3: a human being and you're going through stuff. And God
- 14:17Speaker 3: understands that. And God still loves us. And we are
- 14:23Speaker 3: still called. Amen. I can completely relate to our brother.
- 14:33Speaker 3: Verse 8. For when I spoke, I cried out. I
- 14:38Speaker 3: shouted violence and plunder because the word of the Lord
- 14:43Speaker 3: was made to me a reproach and a derision daily. Amen.
- 14:57Speaker 3: The word of the Lord was made a reproach. Now,
- 15:01Speaker 3: Jeremiah says that whenever he speaks, he's crying out and
- 15:08Speaker 3: proclaiming violence and destruction. Because of that, the word of
- 15:14Speaker 3: the Lord became the reproach and mockery to him on
- 15:21Speaker 3: a constant continuous basis constantly right Jeremiah's message was not
- 15:29Speaker 3: popular he wasn't delivering a message that people wanted to
- 15:35Speaker 3: hear basically there's a lesson here for all of us
- 15:40Speaker 3: who are called to the ministry today if you want
- 15:43Speaker 3: your ministry to flourish to be faithful to what God
- 15:49Speaker 3: has called you to do sometimes we have to understand
- 15:52Speaker 3: that That God's word can be unpopular. But God's word
- 16:00Speaker 3: isn't always going to tell us what we want to hear.
- 16:04Speaker 3: Sometimes it tells us to repent. Sometimes it tells us
- 16:09Speaker 3: to forgive. Sometimes God's word will tell us to change
- 16:15Speaker 3: our ways, change our attitude, our habits. Sometimes it tells
- 16:20Speaker 3: us to let that relationship go. Sometimes it tells us
- 16:24Speaker 3: to stop doing what you're doing. That's not always going
- 16:30Speaker 3: to be something that people will applaud you for. Right.
- 16:37Speaker 3: But our job isn't to make the word comfortable. Our
- 16:44Speaker 3: job is to be faithful to the word of God. Amen.
- 16:51Speaker 3: Our job is to be faithful. to what God has
- 16:55Speaker 3: called us to verse 9 then I said I will
- 17:01Speaker 3: not make mention of him nor speak anymore in his
- 17:06Speaker 3: name now this is a very popular passage of scripture
- 17:13Speaker 3: but his word was in my heart like a burning
- 17:16Speaker 3: fire shut up in my bones I was weary of
- 17:21Speaker 3: holding it back And I could not. Amen. Now, his
- 17:35Speaker 3: word was in my heart as a burning fire. Now,
- 17:40Speaker 3: Jeremiah says, but this word was a burning fire shut
- 17:45Speaker 3: up in my bones. That's one of the most powerful
- 17:51Speaker 3: statements in this passage right here. Now, look at Jeremiah.
- 17:57Speaker 3: Look at our prophet. He wanted to stop. And sometimes
- 18:03Speaker 3: in your ministry, if you're doing it right, you will
- 18:09Speaker 3: probably get to this point as well. I know I have. Now,
- 18:17Speaker 3: The only reason why the club isn't operating now is
- 18:20Speaker 3: because of financial reasons. I had issues in my marriage. Well,
- 18:28Speaker 3: I had issues in my marriage from day one, but
- 18:30Speaker 3: that's a whole nother story, another testimony that I will
- 18:34Speaker 3: share when I'm released to share it. So there were
- 18:40Speaker 3: two things that were happening with me. The ministry and
- 18:44Speaker 3: my family life was not right at the time. I
- 18:49Speaker 3: had someone who stole money from me over 20 grand
- 18:54Speaker 3: and that caused me to get in debt. I worked
- 18:58Speaker 3: a lot of overtime that caused me to owe a
- 19:00Speaker 3: lot in taxes. There was just a lot there that
- 19:04Speaker 3: was going on. And because of my lack of fasting
- 19:08Speaker 3: and praying, I didn't get direction from God. So I
- 19:11Speaker 3: was just out just making decisions, trying to keep this
- 19:15Speaker 3: ministry going. And so I got discouraged. And I stopped.
- 19:25Speaker 1: I did.
- 19:25Speaker 3: I stopped for some years. There's some things now that
- 19:29Speaker 3: I'm not doing that I used to do. And I'm praying,
- 19:33Speaker 3: you know, actually, I haven't produced music in a while.
- 19:35Speaker 3: I got discouraged with that. You know, I believe it's
- 19:40Speaker 3: I know it's warfare. And I know that there's areas
- 19:45Speaker 3: and this Bible study is helping me. You know, Jeremiah
- 19:49Speaker 3: wanted to stop. But, you know, I could not stop
- 19:53Speaker 3: getting the word out. That's why I'm still doing this podcast.
- 19:58Speaker 3: That's why we still have the radio station and online community.
- 20:03Speaker 3: That's why we're still going until we're able and God
- 20:06Speaker 3: gives us a green light to reopen the club. This
- 20:09Speaker 3: is my way of continuing the call, right? But Jeremiah,
- 20:17Speaker 3: he wanted to stop. But God's word wouldn't let him
- 20:22Speaker 3: stay silent at all. The message was burning inside of him. Now,
- 20:30Speaker 3: he says he became weary with trying to hold it back. Now,
- 20:37Speaker 3: ain't that Ain't that amazing? He became willing, weary. I
- 20:41Speaker 3: pray that God's word will burn like that in us,
- 20:45Speaker 3: that we will become weary in trying to hold it back.
- 20:51Speaker 3: This is the compelling power of God's calling and the
- 20:56Speaker 3: word in Jeremiah's life, right? Although Jeremiah became discouraged and
- 21:01Speaker 3: wanted to stop, he found that he could not suppress
- 21:05Speaker 3: the message of that God had placed within him. The
- 21:09Speaker 3: word became like a fire inside him that commanded expression.
- 21:16Speaker 3: He had to get the word out. Now, that is
- 21:22Speaker 3: what happens sometimes when the word of God is truly
- 21:29Speaker 3: inside of you. You see, we don't have to force it.
- 21:37Speaker 5: Right.
- 21:39Speaker 3: I remember there was a time where it was just
- 21:41Speaker 3: so easy for me to witness, so easy for me
- 21:44Speaker 3: just to talk about Jesus and just spread the word
- 21:48Speaker 3: of the Lord. And people were touched. People got saved. Right.
- 21:56Speaker 3: We cannot keep the word of God locked up forever.
- 22:00Speaker 3: If God has genuinely placed a burden on our hearts, eventually.
- 22:07Speaker 3: It's going to come out. Now, here's something that is
- 22:12Speaker 3: very important. Your feelings can tell you to quit.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Right?
- 22:17Speaker 3: We just talked about that. Our feelings, our hearts, our emotions,
- 22:21Speaker 3: but your calling can tell you to keep going. Jeremiah's
- 22:28Speaker 3: emotion said stop, but God's word inside him said keep going.
- 22:32Speaker 3: And that can be a battle. That's the battle.
- 22:41Speaker 6: Right?
- 22:42Speaker 3: And I pray that God's word will win. Every time.
- 22:51Speaker 3: Verse 10. For I heard many mocking. Fear on every side.
- 23:02Speaker 3: Report they say. And we will report it. All my
- 23:07Speaker 3: acquaintances watched. for my stumbling saying perhaps he can be
- 23:14Speaker 3: included then we will prevail against him and we will
- 23:22Speaker 3: take our revenge on him alright let's break down verse
- 23:31Speaker 3: 10 fear on every side Jeremiah says he heard people
- 23:38Speaker 3: whispering around him they were looking for an opportunity to
- 23:43Speaker 3: accuse him. Now, doesn't that sound like our Messiah? Doesn't
- 23:49Speaker 3: that sound like Jesus himself? When the scribes and the Pharisees,
- 23:55Speaker 3: the lawyers, they were looking for words to trip him
- 23:59Speaker 3: up on. Even his familiar friends were watching to see
- 24:06Speaker 3: if he would fall. Now, remember, name Jeremiah had given
- 24:13Speaker 3: Asher it was what was it it was a maker
- 24:20Speaker 3: mashibi and his name was fear in every side we
- 24:24Speaker 3: talked about that on the last podcast and that was
- 24:27Speaker 3: actually the answer to our trivia question as well and
- 24:34Speaker 3: yes once again zone three got it right as the
- 24:40Speaker 3: trivia champ shout out to our brother zone but the
- 24:44Speaker 3: name he gave him meant fear on every side now
- 24:47Speaker 3: jeremiah is experiencing fear and opposition all around him now
- 24:53Speaker 3: this is what makes the passage even more real jeremiah
- 24:59Speaker 3: isn't pretending that he's fearless jeremiah is afraid He's surrounded
- 25:08Speaker 3: by people who want to see him fall. And yet
- 25:13Speaker 3: he's still standing. Now, courage isn't the absence of fear.
- 25:21Speaker 3: Courage is continuing to do what God called you to
- 25:25Speaker 3: do while you are still afraid. Amen. While you're facing
- 25:33Speaker 3: this opposition. And I, like I said, I can relate.
- 25:38Speaker 3: I know that I answered the call of God on
- 25:40Speaker 3: my life. I know that the city was making impact.
- 25:44Speaker 3: The thing that I struggled with the most when the
- 25:48Speaker 3: club was open and operating was by you choosing not
- 25:53Speaker 3: to support, by you choosing not to come, by you
- 25:59Speaker 3: choosing not to bring your unsaved family member or friend.
- 26:04Speaker 3: How many people went to hell? That could have been
- 26:09Speaker 3: a divine appointment. That could have been the time that
- 26:14Speaker 3: that person in your neighborhood, that person in your community,
- 26:19Speaker 3: that could have been the only time, the only appointment
- 26:23Speaker 3: that they had to meet the Lord and to accept
- 26:27Speaker 3: the Lord. But because of us, for some reason, it
- 26:30Speaker 3: could have been pride, arrogance, or jealousy. I can understand
- 26:35Speaker 3: that jealousy could play a part in it I mean
- 26:39Speaker 3: I had a warehouse that was turned into a club
- 26:44Speaker 3: and it was nice you go in there there was
- 26:47Speaker 3: a red carpet area we had a snack area we
- 26:50Speaker 3: had a huge stage the lighting I mean it was
- 26:53Speaker 3: all there but it wasn't for me it was for
- 26:58Speaker 3: them it was for the community it was for the
- 27:03Speaker 3: people who needed to to hear the gospel of Christ.
- 27:08Speaker 3: And they may not have come to a church service
- 27:12Speaker 3: to hear it, but they would have come to a concert,
- 27:18Speaker 3: a rap concert or a rock concert. We had rock shows.
- 27:21Speaker 3: We had plays. We had a lot of ways to
- 27:25Speaker 3: share the gospel. And that's what's heartbreaking for me. concerning that.
- 27:37Speaker 3: But also it's encouraging to know that just because you
- 27:42Speaker 3: go through stuff does not mean God is not using you. Amen.
- 27:49Speaker 3: So I hope that this passage encourages us more than
- 27:53Speaker 3: anything else. And like I said, I'm good. I'm not venting.
- 28:00Speaker 3: I'm not still frustrated. God has helped me to forgive
- 28:04Speaker 3: and to love and to look at myself. There's ways
- 28:06Speaker 3: that I could have, maybe I could have reached out
- 28:10Speaker 3: to the people and brought reconciliation, just humbling myself. I'm
- 28:19Speaker 3: not blaming everyone else. God was dealing with me as
- 28:22Speaker 3: well And so I pray that the second go around
- 28:26Speaker 3: will be even greater and better. And I'm asking for
- 28:30Speaker 3: y'all to pray for this vision, this ministry. So the
- 28:38Speaker 3: big lesson we're going to take away today is that
- 28:42Speaker 3: we can be discouraged without being defeated. So Jeremiah chapter
- 28:50Speaker 3: 27 through 10 teaches us. something that is powerful today.
- 28:55Speaker 3: If we really tap into it, really pay attention, God's
- 28:58Speaker 3: servant can become discouraged. Don't be ashamed to admit that
- 29:04Speaker 3: you are struggling, right? And criticism can wear you down.
- 29:12Speaker 3: Even strong believers can become tired of being criticized all
- 29:16Speaker 3: the time. This constant criticism. Amen. I'm speaking my life
- 29:21Speaker 3: right now.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Huh?
- 29:23Speaker 3: You can tell God how you feel as well. Jeremiah
- 29:26Speaker 3: didn't hide his emotions at all. As a matter of fact,
- 29:29Speaker 3: God already knew. Just share, right? Your calling may be difficult.
- 29:38Speaker 3: Obedience doesn't guarantee. an easy road. God's word can be
- 29:46Speaker 3: a sustaining power in your life. Jeremiah couldn't permanently silence
- 29:53Speaker 3: the word that God placed within him. He grew weary
- 29:58Speaker 3: and hold it back. He wanted to stop speaking for
- 30:01Speaker 3: the Lord.
- 30:03Speaker 4: Right.
- 30:03Speaker 3: God came to him in a vision. God equipped him.
- 30:09Speaker 3: The pastor didn't send him out. His parents didn't send
- 30:12Speaker 3: him out. God himself called this man and he came
- 30:16Speaker 3: to a point where he didn't want to speak for
- 30:18Speaker 3: God no more. Think about that, beloved. Fear doesn't mean
- 30:26Speaker 3: that you have to quit. You can be afraid and
- 30:30Speaker 3: still be faithful. This man had people who literally wanted
- 30:35Speaker 3: to kill him and whispering all around him looking for
- 30:42Speaker 3: his demise and his downfall, which I can relate as
- 30:46Speaker 3: well because when I did fall, it was made public.
- 30:52Speaker 3: It's like the whole city knew what I was dealing
- 30:55Speaker 3: with and what I was struggling with. And people were
- 30:58Speaker 3: rejoicing over it. But God will always have the final say. Amen.
- 31:10Speaker 3: All right, let's take a break.
- 31:13Speaker 5: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 31:16Speaker 5: is the His Hop Radio Show.
- 31:20Speaker 4: You look above and smile, thinking it's peace that I
- 31:24Speaker 4: have found. In your mind I have ascended, but I
- 31:28Speaker 4: am hellward bound.
- 31:31Speaker 6: A life of sin cloaked in pride, and.
- 31:33Speaker 4: I refuse to change. So now I'm here, trapped in
- 31:39Speaker 4: this fire, and I'm calling out your name.
- 31:43Speaker 6: The liquor that you pour for me will never quench
- 31:45Speaker 6: the flames. Throw that rosary away. It doesn't help me
- 31:48Speaker 6: when you pray. The candles you light won't help me see.
- 31:50Speaker 3: In this darkness.
- 31:51Speaker 6: When your priest says I'm resting in peace, he's being dishonest.
- 31:54Speaker 6: I can't smell the flowers that you all leave at
- 31:57Speaker 6: my grave. When you stay to talk to me, I
- 31:59Speaker 6: cannot hear what you say. And no, I'm not your
- 32:01Speaker 6: guardian angel that's watching over you because I'm trapped below
- 32:04Speaker 6: my dude. I wish that you would know this truth.
- 32:07Speaker 6: I would mourn you, but I can't travel back to
- 32:09Speaker 6: let people know about this hell because a chasm has
- 32:12Speaker 6: been set between the living and dead. And this massive
- 32:14Speaker 6: gap prevents me from telling all my people about what
- 32:17Speaker 6: happens after death.
- 32:18Speaker 3: I would tell you hell is real. I would tell
- 32:20Speaker 3: you God is true. I would tell you turn.
- 32:22Speaker 6: To Jesus Christ because Satan got us duped. I know
- 32:25Speaker 6: you would like to believe that I'm at heaven's gates
- 32:27Speaker 6: Looking down until we meet again But no, I am
- 32:30Speaker 6: not in a better.
- 32:31Speaker 4: Place As your mourn tears flood the ground If only
- 32:34Speaker 4: one tear could reach Me below where I'm bound That
- 32:39Speaker 4: single tear would quench this heat All of your thoughts
- 32:44Speaker 4: pray I'm safe But this place is void of grace
- 32:49Speaker 4: And I fear for you all Because you all are.
- 32:51Speaker 6: Guilty of the same mistakes They say the homies that
- 32:56Speaker 6: die go be with God. That's an agronomist lie if
- 32:59Speaker 6: I could only describe. This eternal furnace reserved for us perverts.
- 33:02Speaker 3: Lurking and murderers.
- 33:03Speaker 6: The liar, the thief, the hustler on the curb that's
- 33:06Speaker 6: serving drugs. First your reaction to this heat is gnashing
- 33:09Speaker 6: to your teeth. Cracking you will weep and you will
- 33:11Speaker 6: gasp because it reeks. The smell of decaying flesh cooking
- 33:14Speaker 6: to keep you nauseous. All you hear is blood curdling
- 33:17Speaker 6: screams from people tortured. The howls that echo through hell
- 33:20Speaker 6: are horrifying All this crying doesn't cease because forever we
- 33:24Speaker 6: all are frying It's unimaginable pain, your shackles and your
- 33:27Speaker 6: chains Surrounded by all your fears and that's where you
- 33:30Speaker 6: remain I got here and tried to use that I'm
- 33:32Speaker 6: a good person stuff Until I saw people I thought
- 33:35Speaker 6: were good and they were hurt because The gods that
- 33:37Speaker 6: they used to serve were dead and fake And like me,
- 33:40Speaker 6: they ignored Christ's call And now we are not in
- 33:42Speaker 6: a better place.
- 33:43Speaker 2: Live not blind, my dear kin Please lead a righteous
- 33:47Speaker 2: way Turned from past, paved with grief. Please don't let
- 33:53Speaker 2: darkness sway.
- 33:55Speaker 3: Through the fire, hear my voice.
- 33:57Speaker 2: Let my cries break your spell.
- 34:00Speaker 3: Rise above.
- 34:02Speaker 6: Seek God's love.
- 34:03Speaker 4: I'm begging you, don't join this hell.
- 34:11Speaker 5: You are listening to The Light of Las Vegas. This
- 34:15Speaker 5: is the HizHop Radio Show.
- 34:34Speaker 3: All right, y'all, we are back from the break. That
- 34:38Speaker 3: was our brother Dayton. Yeah, that sound a little, had
- 34:45Speaker 3: a little like little Halloween flavor to it, didn't it?
- 34:48Speaker 3: That song there, you know what I mean? Like stay
- 34:51Speaker 3: away from this hell. I believe is his message he's
- 34:54Speaker 3: trying to get out. That's a good song to play
- 34:58Speaker 3: if you have a Halloween situation going there. You know,
- 35:02Speaker 3: you want to minister. But that was our brother Dayton
- 35:06Speaker 3: on the music break. I want to give a huge
- 35:08Speaker 3: shout out to our brother Zone 3 once again in
- 35:11Speaker 3: the live chat. Our brother Corinth for coming through. This
- 35:15Speaker 3: is his hop. Everybody who joins our online community, this
- 35:19Speaker 3: is a part of our discipleship. We disciple online. We
- 35:26Speaker 3: pray for each other, hold each other accountable. Also, I
- 35:32Speaker 3: want everyone to go over to the community now from
- 35:36Speaker 3: this part of the podcast so we can go over
- 35:40Speaker 3: our accountability partner segment, our trivia, also the question for today.
- 35:48Speaker 3: And also, I'm able to post our flyers online. post
- 35:53Speaker 3: videos in our community. There's things that we can do
- 35:56Speaker 3: we were not able to do in a live chat.
- 35:59Speaker 3: So you can actually share that flyer. There's a share
- 36:02Speaker 3: button right there. If you look like towards the right
- 36:05Speaker 3: and you can share it to your social media, you
- 36:08Speaker 3: can share the trivia challenge. You can share all of
- 36:11Speaker 3: our community activities. So I would like to ask everyone
- 36:16Speaker 3: to share, share, share, share everything. It'll bring them back
- 36:19Speaker 3: once they click the link. It'll bring them back to
- 36:22Speaker 3: our community. They just need to log in once and
- 36:26Speaker 3: it'll remember your login information. That's cool. Because I know
- 36:31Speaker 3: some people on the live chat, they will log in
- 36:33Speaker 3: and then they would be logged out and they would
- 36:36Speaker 3: forget their password and they would stop coming. But, you know,
- 36:42Speaker 3: I want to utilize both the live chat and our community.
- 36:47Speaker 3: So share this And let's build this community up. Amen.
- 36:55Speaker 3: All right. So we give a challenge every day on
- 37:00Speaker 3: the podcast. We want you to contact your accountability partner,
- 37:04Speaker 3: your prayer partner, whoever that may be, your pastor, your mom,
- 37:08Speaker 3: your dad, your aunt, your uncle, a brother in the church,
- 37:12Speaker 3: a sister or a brother and ask them, what is
- 37:17Speaker 3: something God has called me? to do that I've been
- 37:22Speaker 3: tempted to quit because I am discouraged. Now that's a
- 37:27Speaker 3: good one to share that to social media. What is
- 37:31Speaker 3: something God has called me to do that I've been
- 37:36Speaker 3: tempted to quit because I have been discouraged, right? And
- 37:42Speaker 3: talk about it, talk it over. Oh yeah, I have
- 37:45Speaker 3: a lot to talk about on this one. Um, Don't
- 37:51Speaker 3: just say I'm tired, though. Get to the deeper question.
- 37:55Speaker 3: Why am I tired? Now, it can be criticism. It
- 38:05Speaker 3: can be fear. It can be lack of results. It
- 38:08Speaker 3: can be burnout or it can be disappointment. But ask
- 38:13Speaker 3: God to show you what is underneath the discouragement. Amen.
- 38:20Speaker 3: And when we get to the root of it, that's
- 38:22Speaker 3: where we can pray about it. We can repent. Sometimes
- 38:25Speaker 3: it's just a straight up attack of the enemy. You know,
- 38:29Speaker 3: sometimes I can look around and I look at the
- 38:31Speaker 3: numbers and I'm like, man, who is helping me? I
- 38:35Speaker 3: do have a faithful few that I'm really appreciative of.
- 38:39Speaker 3: But who are who's really going to like share our
- 38:43Speaker 3: community now that we can share? We can share the flyer.
- 38:46Speaker 3: We can share like who's really going to help build
- 38:50Speaker 3: this platform and yet again this could be God's appointed
- 38:55Speaker 3: time to meet with someone online this live chat could
- 39:01Speaker 3: be the same thing as a club but we get
- 39:04Speaker 3: so distracted we get so caught up and we get
- 39:10Speaker 3: so busy to where we won't even take a second
- 39:13Speaker 3: just to share this podcast share this segment share the
- 39:18Speaker 3: The question that little share could mean somebody is going
- 39:23Speaker 3: to miss hell and make Jesus their savior. You never know.
- 39:30Speaker 3: And beloved, this world is temporary. We can get caught
- 39:33Speaker 3: up in paying bills and going to work, all that stuff.
- 39:37Speaker 3: But one day, the only thing we do for Christ
- 39:40Speaker 3: is what's going to last. What did you do to
- 39:42Speaker 3: help build his kingdom? What did you do to help
- 39:46Speaker 3: his servants? advance the kingdom of God. You never know.
- 39:51Speaker 3: A small gesture can make a big impact in the kingdom.
- 39:57Speaker 2: Amen.
- 39:59Speaker 3: So that was a little bit of accountability for you.
- 40:01Speaker 3: I also want to let you know that His Hot
- 40:06Speaker 3: Radio is monitored in a reporting radio station. We can
- 40:11Speaker 3: do all the things the bigger stations can do. We
- 40:14Speaker 3: can chart Your music, you can become number one on
- 40:18Speaker 3: the His Hot Radio charts. We can give you spin data.
- 40:24Speaker 3: Let you know every time that your song is played
- 40:26Speaker 3: on the station and we pay royalties. We are licensed.
- 40:32Speaker 3: So if you'd like to submit your music, go to
- 40:35Speaker 3: our website, HisHotNation.com. Hit the submissions tab and check out
- 40:39Speaker 3: our promo packages. I'm encouraged because we have some people
- 40:43Speaker 3: who signed up for that. It helps us sustain this
- 40:48Speaker 3: platform and it'll help you get more exposure and rise
- 40:53Speaker 3: up on those charts. Amen. I still believe it's a
- 40:58Speaker 3: great witness of Christian hip hop takes over all the charts. Powerful. Amen.
- 41:09Speaker 5: Now it's time for.
- 41:15Speaker 3: Our community shout out. Actually, no, it's not the community
- 41:20Speaker 3: shout out. It is the trivia.
- 41:25Speaker 2: All right.
- 41:26Speaker 3: If you haven't yet already, head on over to the community.
- 41:33Speaker 3: That is where our trivia challenge is. And so this
- 41:41Speaker 3: is the question of. that we need you to answer
- 41:45Speaker 3: the first one to get the right answer is the
- 41:47Speaker 3: trivia champion for today what two different things did Jeremiah
- 41:54Speaker 3: say he would no longer do before he admitted that
- 41:59Speaker 3: God's word was like a burning fire within him amen
- 42:05Speaker 3: share that to your social media after you answer it
- 42:08Speaker 3: though what two different things did Jeremiah say he would
- 42:13Speaker 3: do no longer before he admitted that God's word was
- 42:20Speaker 3: like a burning fire within him actually do a test
- 42:25Speaker 3: share that to social media and let's see who will
- 42:29Speaker 3: answer it you can share it to your Facebook there's
- 42:33Speaker 3: a link there there's your TikTok your Instagram let's see
- 42:38Speaker 3: let's open it up to they're not coming here we're
- 42:41Speaker 3: going to go there amen Let's see who the new
- 42:45Speaker 3: trivia champ is going to be. Shout out to our
- 42:50Speaker 3: brother Zone 3 for holding it down for so long. Man, brother,
- 42:54Speaker 3: you are growing in the word. All right, now it's
- 43:01Speaker 3: time for our community shout out. We had a great event.
- 43:05Speaker 3: I had a great time at the Resort World. We
- 43:09Speaker 3: had a luncheon. We had exhibitors. It was a business mixer.
- 43:15Speaker 3: we were able to record the podcast. Now, the podcast,
- 43:19Speaker 3: I was not the host of it because I was
- 43:22Speaker 3: on the DJ booth providing the sound, but it's on,
- 43:28Speaker 3: it's in our, actually, I believe our business mixer is
- 43:32Speaker 3: in our subscribers area on the website, hishopnation.com because there's
- 43:37Speaker 3: a lot of good, valuable information on there. And so
- 43:41Speaker 3: you can go and listen to all our episodes and
- 43:45Speaker 3: get connections and people are leaving their phone numbers and
- 43:48Speaker 3: emails their local business owners there might be the connection
- 43:52Speaker 3: you need and also it plays every Friday at 9 a.m.
- 43:59Speaker 3: on the Hisai radio station and if you notice we've
- 44:03Speaker 3: reprogrammed the radio station now there's more shows we have
- 44:08Speaker 3: shows that come on around 8 or 9 in the
- 44:10Speaker 3: morning and As well as my show that comes on
- 44:13Speaker 3: every day at 11. We have different podcasts through the
- 44:16Speaker 3: weekend that play. So check us out if you haven't

- 44:25Speaker 3: There's something for everybody, man. And so when is our
- 44:32Speaker 3: next event? Yeah, we got some stuff coming up in October.
- 44:37Speaker 3: We got some stuff coming up. Also, Doolittle will be
- 44:41Speaker 3: our next one. I need to get that fire out.
- 44:44Speaker 3: We got an event coming up at Doolittle. So let
- 44:48Speaker 3: me post it on the website today so you can
- 44:50Speaker 3: get the date and time and all that. Keep us
- 44:54Speaker 3: in prayer. We appreciate your support. Speaking of support, His
- 45:03Speaker 3: Hot Radio is a nonprofit organization. We are a 501c3.
- 45:07Speaker 3: We are a nonprofit organization. Every time that you give
- 45:14Speaker 3: is so into us. It is a tax write off
- 45:17Speaker 3: tax deductible for you. That could be the difference between
- 45:22Speaker 3: getting a return or owing taxes. You know, we need
- 45:24Speaker 3: those deductions. And this is good ground. We're making impact.
- 45:29Speaker 3: in our community, cleaning up crime, cleaning up poverty, cleaning
- 45:34Speaker 3: up all these things. We're here to turn our nation around,
- 45:38Speaker 3: but we do need your help. As I said before,
- 45:41Speaker 3: we opened up a Christian club in 2012. We were
- 45:44Speaker 3: able to operate for seven years and we're looking to
- 45:47Speaker 3: relaunch and reopen, but we do need your support. We
- 45:51Speaker 3: need monthly donors. We need supporters, annual donors, $ 5, $ 2,
- 45:55Speaker 3: $ 3 a month. is something. We also are looking for
- 46:02Speaker 3: grants and grant writers, those who can support us, those
- 46:06Speaker 3: who can volunteer and help us. It's your time to
- 46:13Speaker 3: stand up and let's keep this movement going. Amen. We're
- 46:19Speaker 3: going to go until the wheels fall off. Amen. Now,
- 46:30Speaker 3: Let's close it out, beloved. We only did a couple
- 46:33Speaker 3: of scriptures, but those scriptures were very powerful. Now, if
- 46:40Speaker 3: we look at our prophet, Jeremiah was frustrated. He was tired.
- 46:44Speaker 3: He was mocked. He was afraid. He wanted to quit.
- 46:50Speaker 3: And I think a lot of us can relate to that.
- 46:55Speaker 3: Sometimes you can doing everything you believe God has called
- 46:59Speaker 3: you to do and still wonder, Lord, why is this
- 47:04Speaker 3: so hard and difficult? Jeremiah didn't get an answer immediately,
- 47:12Speaker 3: but he discovered something. He couldn't let go of God's word. Hallelujah.
- 47:18Speaker 3: That's a good problem. And I pray that on everybody
- 47:21Speaker 3: listening to the podcast, right? Because God's word was burning
- 47:28Speaker 3: inside of him. That's what I want to remember today.
- 47:36Speaker 3: If you're discouraged, you don't necessarily need to quit. You
- 47:41Speaker 3: may need to reset. You may need to pray. You
- 47:44Speaker 3: may need to step back for a moment. You may
- 47:49Speaker 3: need to find people that will encourage you or encourage
- 47:54Speaker 3: yourself like David did. Encourage yourself in the Lord, but
- 47:59Speaker 3: do not make a permanent decision based on a temporary
- 48:03Speaker 3: season of discouragement. Don't throw your entire ministry away just
- 48:10Speaker 3: because of a season and don't let criticism make you
- 48:16Speaker 3: forget your calling. God's word was stronger than Jeremiah's frustrations.
- 48:24Speaker 3: In this situation. His calling. Was stronger than his desire
- 48:29Speaker 3: to quit. So if you're tired today. Take it to God.
- 48:36Speaker 3: If you're discouraged. Take it to God. If you're afraid.
- 48:42Speaker 3: Take it to God. But don't automatically assume. That because
- 48:48Speaker 3: it's difficult. God did not call you. Sometimes. The difficult
- 48:56Speaker 3: road is still the right road. So stay faithful. Stay
- 49:03Speaker 3: in his word. And let God's word burn brightly in
- 49:11Speaker 3: your heart. Remember, beloved, it's not about us. It's all
- 49:18Speaker 3: about the Christ in us. God bless.
- 49:33Speaker 5: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 49:36Speaker 5: is the His Hop Radio Show.
