  Walk straight, stand strong. Have you ever felt that quiet
• 0:15
  pull to just blend in, To not make waves, to do what everyone
• 0:18
  else is doing, even though something inside you says this
• 0:21
  isn't right? That tension shows up more often
• 0:25
  than we like to admit. It's in the small moments, the
• 0:28
  shortcuts, the half truths, the compromises we tell ourselves
• 0:32
  don't really matter. But those moments are shaping us
• 0:35
  more than we realize. Proverbs chapter 10, verse 9
• 0:39
  speaks directly into that space. It says whoever walks in
• 0:43
  integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will
• 0:47
  be found out. Integrity isn't about being
• 0:50
  perfect. It's about choosing a straight
• 0:53
  path, even when a crooked 1 looks easier.
• 0:56
  God's Word reminds us that integrity brings security.
• 1:00
  There's a quiet confidence that comes when you don't have to
• 1:02
  look over your shoulder, when you don't have to keep track of
• 1:05
  lies or excuses, when your life lines up with what you say you
• 1:09
  believe. Acts Chapter 7 gives us one of
• 1:13
  the most powerful pictures of what it means to stand strong.
• 1:16
  Stephen is facing intense opposition.
• 1:19
  He's misunderstood, falsely accused, and surrounded by
• 1:23
  people who want to silence him. Yet Acts Chapter 7 verse 55
• 1:28
  tells us that Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into
• 1:32
  heaven and saw the glory of God and Jesus standing at the right
• 1:36
  hand of God. In his hardest moment, Stephen
• 1:39
  wasn't focused on fear, anger, or self preservation.
• 1:43
  His eyes were fixed on Jesus. That detail matters.
• 1:47
  Scripture often describes Jesus seated at the right hand of God,
• 1:51
  but here he is standing. It's as if heaven is leaning in.
• 1:54
  Jesus is not distant, He is present, He is watching.
• 1:59
  He is honoring Stephen's courage.
• 2:01
  Stephen's strength didn't come from his personality or his
• 2:04
  words. It came from where he was
• 2:06
  looking. We face different pressures, but
• 2:08
  the same choice. Will we walk straight or will we
• 2:12
  bend when it gets uncomfortable? Will we protect our integrity or
• 2:16
  trade it for temporary approval? Keeping your eyes on Jesus
• 2:20
  doesn't remove the difficulty, but it gives you strength to
• 2:23
  stand when it comes. When you walk in integrity, you
• 2:26
  may not always be applauded, but you will be secure.
• 2:30
  When you fix your eyes on Jesus, you may still face resistance,
• 2:33
  but you will never stand alone. Courage grows when compromise
• 2:37
  stops. Peace follows when your path is
• 2:39
  straight. Let's pray.

  Heavenly Father, thank you for reminding me that integrity
• 2:45
  matters. Help me to walk straight, even
• 2:47
  when it would be easier to take shortcuts or blend in.
• 2:51
  Fill me with your Holy Spirit just as you filled Stephen, so I
• 2:55
  can keep my eyes fixed on Jesus when pressure comes.
• 2:59
  Give me courage to stand strong, confidence to live honestly, and
• 3:02
  peace that comes from knowing you are with me in Jesus name,
• 3:06
  Amen. What if the way you pray changed
• 3:09
  because you truly knew who God is?

  Our fathers found no food. But when Jacob heard that there

  On the second time, Joseph was made known to his brothers, and

  Joseph's family was revealed to Pharaoh.

  relatives, 75 souls. Jacob went down into Egypt and

  But as the time of the promise came close, which God had sworn

  arose a different king who didn't know Joseph.

  The same took advantage of our race and mistreated our fathers

  and forced them to abandon their babies so that they wouldn't

  stay alive. At that time Moses was born and

  was exceedingly handsome to God. He was nourished 3 months in his

  father's house. When he was abandoned, Pharaoh's
• 7:07
  daughter took him up and reared him as her own son.

  Moses was instructed in all the wisdom of the Egyptians.

  He was mighty in his words and works.
• 7:15
  But when he was 40 years old, it came into his heart to visit his
• 7:18
  brothers, the children of Israel.
• 7:21
  Seeing one of them suffer wrong, he defended him and avenged him
• 7:24
  who was oppressed, striking the Egyptian.
• 7:27
  He supposed that his brothers understood that God by his hand
• 7:30
  was giving them deliverance, but they didn't understand.
• 7:34
  The day following he appeared to them as they fought and urged
• 7:37
  them to be at peace again, saying, Sirs, you are brothers,
• 7:40
  why do you wrong one another? But he who did his neighbor
• 7:43
  wrong pushed him away, saying, Who made you a ruler and a judge
• 7:47
  over us? Do you want to kill me as you
• 7:49
  killed the Egyptian yesterday? Moses fled at this saying and
• 7:53
  became a stranger in the land of Midian, where he became the
• 7:55
  father of two sons. When 40 years were fulfilled, an
• 7:59
  Angel of the Lord appeared to him in the wilderness of Mount
• 8:01
  Sinai in a flame of fire in a Bush.

  When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight.
• 8:07
  As he came close to see, the voice of the Lord came to him.

  I am the God of your father's, the God of Abraham, the God of
• 8:13
  Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Moses trembled and dared not
• 8:17
  look. The Lord said to him, Take off
• 8:19
  your sandals, for the place where you stand is holy ground.
• 8:23
  I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are
• 8:25
  in Egypt and have heard their groaning.
• 8:28
  I have come down to deliver them.
• 8:30
  Now Come, I will send you into Egypt.

  This Moses, whom they refused, saying, Who made you a ruler and
• 8:36
  a judge? God has sent him as both a ruler
• 8:39
  and a deliverer. By the hand of the Angel who
• 8:41
  appeared to him in the Bush. This man LED them out, having
• 8:44
  worked wonders and signs in Egypt, in the Red Sea, and in
• 8:48
  the wilderness for 40 years. This is that Moses, who said to
• 8:51
  the children of Israel, the Lord our God will raise up a profit
• 8:55
  for you from among your brothers like me.

  This is he who was in the assembly in the wilderness, with
• 9:01
  the Angel that spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our
• 9:04
  fathers who received living revelations to give to us, to
• 9:07
  whom our fathers wouldn't be obedient, but rejected him and
• 9:10
  turned back in their hearts to Egypt, saying to Aaron, Make us
• 9:14
  gods that will go before us. For As for this Moses who led us
• 9:17
  out of the land of Egypt, we don't know what has become of
• 9:20
  him. They made a calf in those days
• 9:23
  and brought a sacrifice to the idol and rejoiced in the works
• 9:26
  of their hands. But God turned away and gave
• 9:29
  them up to serve the army of the sky, as it is written in the
• 9:32
  book of the prophets. Did you offer to me slain
• 9:35
  animals and sacrifices 40 years in the wilderness?
• 9:38
  O House of Israel, you took up the Tabernacle of Molech, the
• 9:42
  star of your God, Riffan, the figures which you made to
• 9:45
  worship, so I will carry you away beyond Babylon.
• 9:48
  Our fathers had the Tabernacle of the testimony in the
• 9:51
  wilderness, even as he who spoke to Moses commanded him to make
• 9:55
  it according to the pattern that he had seen.

  Which also our fathers in their turn brought in with Joshua,

  when they entered into the possession of the nations, whom

  God drove out before the face of our fathers to the days of
• 10:06
  David, who found favor in the sight of God, and asked to find

  a habitation for the God of Jacob.

  But Solomon built him a house. However, the Most High doesn't

  dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says.

  Heaven is my throne, and the earth a footstool for my feet.

  What kind of house will you build me, says the Lord, Or what

  is the place of my rest? Didn't my hand make all these

  things? You stiff necked and

  uncircumcised in heart and ears, You always resist the Holy

  Spirit as your Father's did, so you do.

  Which of the prophets didn't your Father's persecute?

  They killed those who foretold the coming of the righteous, one

  of whom you have now become betrayers and murderers.

  You received the law as it was ordained by angels and didn't
• 10:49
  keep it. Now when they heard these
• 10:51
  things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed at him
• 10:54
  with their teeth. But he, being full of the Holy

  Spirit, looked up steadfastly into heaven, and saw the glory

  of God and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, and said,

  Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man

  standing at the right hand of God.

  But they cried out with a loud voice and stopped their ears,

  then rushed at him. With 1 accord they threw him out

  of the city and stoned him. The witnesses placed their

  garments at the feet of a young man named Saul.

  They stoned Stephen as he called out saying, Lord Jesus, receive
• 11:24
  my Spirit. He kneeled down and cried with a
• 11:27
  loud voice. Lord, don't hold the sin against
• 11:29
  them. When he had said this, he fell
• 11:32
