- 0:06Speaker 1: in doing a great job.
- 0:07Speaker 2: So far, Stace. Thanks Jay Teddy.
- 0:10Speaker 1: What's up here on the air?
- 0:13Speaker 3: Hi?
- 0:13Speaker 4: Yeah, when I was eighteen, I I went to a
- 0:19Speaker 4: psychic because I was always curious, right, and I was
- 0:22Speaker 4: dating the girl at the time, and I really wanted
- 0:24Speaker 4: to ask him, you know, she was the one. And
- 0:27Speaker 4: she told me no, definitely, not.
- 0:31Speaker 5: Just like that, not like yeah, like the future is uncertain,
- 0:35Speaker 5: you know, nothing is totally clear.
- 0:37Speaker 2: It's just like, no, yeah, you've got You've got a.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Bad one there, runaway.
- 0:41Speaker 4: I paid her like eighty bucks and she was like,
- 0:43Speaker 4: you won't find love until you're like twenty seven, and
- 0:46Speaker 4: she was actually right about that.
- 0:48Speaker 2: I got married when I was wowed.
- 0:51Speaker 4: Is crazy, I know. I don't know why I always
- 0:54Speaker 4: bought back to that, but I was. I was halfway
- 0:58Speaker 4: through twenty seven in the year and I was like, ah,
- 1:00Speaker 4: I guess she was just full of this.
- 1:01Speaker 1: So all right, dude, Well thanks for listening, Danks for
- 1:04Speaker 1: calling in, brother, have a great day.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Thank you. No bs psychic right there, We all need
- 1:09Speaker 2: one of those. In our line, right.
- 1:11Speaker 6: We need psychics that are keeping it real with us.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Most of the time.
- 1:14Speaker 6: It's like you have the man of your dreams, like
- 1:16Speaker 6: why are you lying to.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Me right now? Yeah?
- 1:18Speaker 1: But he's like, hey, is this the girl for me? Nope,
- 1:22Speaker 1: eighty dollars please. Let's Mark says he doesn't have a
- 1:28Speaker 1: psychic story. He's got another story, Mark, not a psychic story,
- 1:32Speaker 1: another story, sidekickstory, like a different, different, different what's your story?
- 1:37Speaker 3: Mark, Bill a Billberr experience. Okay, I'll try to talk
- 1:40Speaker 3: fast because this is complicated. So I live in San
- 1:42Speaker 3: Francisco's the time I go to Tony's Pizza. Tony is
- 1:45Speaker 3: quite famous on HGTV. I'm sitting at the bar because
- 1:48Speaker 3: they didn't have a table available. I ordered an appetizer,
- 1:51Speaker 3: which are two meatballs. This is kind of important, okay,
- 1:54Speaker 3: and so the lady says, you know, have a seat
- 1:56Speaker 3: at the bar. So I'm up there. I ordered my meatballs.
- 1:59Speaker 3: The guy city next to me, it was Bill Murray,
- 2:02Speaker 3: and he kind of has a back turned towards me
- 2:03Speaker 3: because he's talking to someone else. He looks over and
- 2:06Speaker 3: he says, those smelled delicious, And I say something to
- 2:09Speaker 3: the factor yeah, they're fantastic. And then I said, oh no,
- 2:13Speaker 3: they're fantastic, mister Murray, and he looks at me and
- 2:16Speaker 3: he says, I'm not who you think I am, and
- 2:18Speaker 3: then he turns around and he ignores me. Literally about
- 2:21Speaker 3: thirty seconds later, he turns back around and he said,
- 2:23Speaker 3: can I try one of those? And he literally took
- 2:26Speaker 3: his fork, unwrapped it from his napkin, dove into one
- 2:29Speaker 3: of my meatballs, really enjoyed it. And then he, you know,
- 2:33Speaker 3: ate three or four bites, turned back around talking to
- 2:35Speaker 3: his friends, and then he looked over at me. He goes, yeah,
- 2:37Speaker 3: I am I am who you think I am. I said,
- 2:40Speaker 3: I know who you are anyway. So it ended up
- 2:42Speaker 3: being Bill Murray nicest guy in the whole world. My
- 2:45Speaker 3: entre came, he ended up picking the tab for my entree.
- 2:47Speaker 3: And here's where it gets kind of goofy. At the
- 2:50Speaker 3: end of this whole experience, he was a gentleman. He
- 2:55Speaker 3: bought my dinner, and as I was leaving, he looked
- 3:00Speaker 3: at me and he made his little gopher lips like
- 3:03Speaker 3: from cash and I looked at him back, and I
- 3:07Speaker 3: did my little gopher lips and kind of in my
- 3:09Speaker 3: gopher voice and said, well, mister Murray, dinner's pleasure and
- 3:14Speaker 3: thank you for buying my dinner. I got to go
- 3:16Speaker 3: feed my gopher. Now he busted out laughing. I busted
- 3:21Speaker 3: out laughing. But anyway, it was just a great experience.
- 3:24Speaker 3: He got the little gopher joke. He wasn't a jerk
- 3:27Speaker 3: at all. I mean, he did eat my meatball, but
- 3:29Speaker 3: he ended up buying my dinner.
- 3:31Speaker 2: That's very cool.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Let me ask you something you said, like what made
- 3:34Speaker 1: you call in with that story, because I think you
- 3:36Speaker 1: said something that you started when I picked up the phone.
- 3:38Speaker 2: You go, I don't have a psychic story. I have
- 3:39Speaker 2: a Bill Murray story. Like I love this story.
- 3:41Speaker 3: But we'll listening to you guys a lot. And there
- 3:44Speaker 3: have been a lot of callers talking about their negative
- 3:47Speaker 3: Bill Murray experiences.
- 3:48Speaker 2: It's true and we've had those.
- 3:51Speaker 3: Yeah, mine was totally positive. And in addition to that,
- 3:55Speaker 3: and this is just a little psychic, but you can
- 3:56Speaker 3: put me on a polygraph, it's absolutely true. On the
- 4:00Speaker 3: other side of the restaurant was Robert DeVault and sitting
- 4:05Speaker 3: at the table next to him was Joe Montana with
- 4:08Speaker 3: his daughter and a bunch of his or her girlfriend
- 4:11Speaker 3: having dinner. Yeah, it was a sriple celebrity fighting. But
- 4:17Speaker 3: Bill Murray was a total gentleman. And when he did
- 4:20Speaker 3: his little gopher thing without even mentioning caddyshack, and I
- 4:26Speaker 3: turned around and gave him the little gopher voice and said,
- 4:29Speaker 3: I gotta go now, I got to go home and
- 4:30Speaker 3: feed my gopher. Yeah, he got it, I got it.
- 4:33Speaker 4: Great evening.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Well that's a great story. Mark, thank you for sharing
- 4:36Speaker 1: that story with us. What if it really wasn't Bill Murray?
- 4:39Speaker 6: You?
- 4:42Speaker 2: Thanks man? What's up? Hey? There? Still?
- 4:46Speaker 7: My friends told me they were like throwing me this
- 4:49Speaker 7: party because I'd been stressed lately. And I show up
- 4:53Speaker 7: expecting like decorations and cake, but instead they are printed
- 4:58Speaker 7: like screenshots all over the dining room table, and like
- 5:01Speaker 7: everyone just looks nervous. One of my friends actually started
- 5:05Speaker 7: the conversation by saying, this comes from a place of love.
- 5:09Speaker 7: You guys, It was not even a party. It was
- 5:11Speaker 7: a relationship intervention disguised as a party because apparently they
- 5:14Speaker 7: all spent the last like six months hating my boyfriend.
- 5:20Speaker 7: So like, I thought this was like a joke until
- 5:22Speaker 7: there were like actual slides and screenshots timelines and witness statements.
- 5:28Speaker 7: Apparently they all hated him, and for months they coordinated
- 5:32Speaker 7: this intervention, and like the worst part was like slide
- 5:36Speaker 7: fourteen was just a giant photo of him with the
- 5:39Speaker 7: caption I mean, look at him.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Oh, they hate him so much.
- 5:47Speaker 7: They don't think he treats me well. So like, like
- 5:50Speaker 7: the screenshots were like those, like the conversations that I
- 5:53Speaker 7: sent them, Like isn't he being like irrational? And so
- 5:56Speaker 7: they had the receipts, they kept them, and they just
- 5:58Speaker 7: really wanted us to break up. And I ended up
- 6:02Speaker 7: breaking up with him because the girls always had your
- 6:04Speaker 7: back and.
- 6:05Speaker 2: So that's smart.
- 6:07Speaker 7: Yeah, so I just like needed to shake off those
- 6:09Speaker 7: love goggles. But I was like, damn, a relationship intervention,
- 6:13Speaker 7: that's crazy.
- 6:14Speaker 2: I mean, think of it like this, shade.
- 6:15Speaker 5: Think about how many of your friends have dated total losers,
- 6:18Speaker 5: and like probably a lot of them, and nobody said
- 6:21Speaker 5: anything about it. For them to get together and stop
- 6:24Speaker 5: you in your tracks from pursuing your relationship, he must
- 6:28Speaker 5: have been a real jack.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Hole, yep.
- 6:30Speaker 7: And I didn't see it at the time, but I
- 6:32Speaker 7: mean it was literally staring me in the face all
- 6:35Speaker 7: around this quote unquote party.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Let me let me pitch an idea for you. Rich's wife.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Stacy's here and Stacy, you have this venue. It's not
- 6:46Speaker 1: just a wedding venue. It's what's it called it just
- 6:49Speaker 1: a venue?
- 6:50Speaker 2: Well, the Hazley. It's called a custom event space.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Which you should rent it out for boyfriend interventions, right.
- 6:57Speaker 6: You know we should add that to our website.
- 7:00Speaker 7: Great.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Yeah, you have the shares all in a nice round
- 7:03Speaker 1: hit table. You can have big blow up pictures of
- 7:05Speaker 1: the annoying boyfriend.
- 7:06Speaker 2: And you just got a new TV from Costco. She
- 7:07Speaker 2: could do a PowerPoint. You could do a whole friend
- 7:10Speaker 2: really big TV too.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Yeah, there you go. You have the pictures of the
- 7:13Speaker 1: boyfriend that you wanted to break up. Something new at
- 7:16Speaker 1: the Hazeley.
- 7:17Speaker 2: I think it's a great idea. Actually it's done. Yeah,
- 7:20Speaker 2: we do everything there and now one more thing.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Actually we should plan something there on Valentine's Day, a
- 7:27Speaker 1: big event, big boyfriend intervention.
- 7:29Speaker 6: I feel like we have to tread carefully though with
- 7:31Speaker 6: the boyfriend intervention because like Shae seems like, you know,
- 7:34Speaker 6: she's in good spirits. She's like I shook the love
- 7:36Speaker 6: goggles off. But a lot of times if you come
- 7:38Speaker 6: to your friend about their trash boyfriend. They're gonna feel
- 7:41Speaker 6: some kind of thing. They're gonna double down. They're probably
- 7:44Speaker 6: not gonna talk to you about the you know, the
- 7:46Speaker 6: ins and outs of their relationships anymore. Right, so, like
- 7:50Speaker 6: maybe plastic glasses at the Valentine's Day boyfriend bashing event
- 7:55Speaker 6: because boyfriend bashing.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Yes, Shaye, thanks for the idea. Glad you're single, Thanks
- 8:00Speaker 1: for sharing.
- 8:00Speaker 2: That story with us, Thank you for having me. Wait,
- 8:03Speaker 2: I'm not glad you're single. I'm glad you broke up
- 8:04Speaker 2: with a guy. I don't know if you're single.
- 8:06Speaker 7: Now, but you know I'm single now, happily single, doing
- 8:10Speaker 7: doing the work, as as the kids say.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Okay, thanks for calling in. Have a great day.
- 8:14Speaker 7: You do
