- 0:12Speaker 1: a kiss FM. Good morning. It's nice to have you
- 0:15Speaker 1: on with us. Happy said Patrick's Day?
- 0:17Speaker 2: Hey, Hey, Patrick's Day. Okay, we're gonna do that all morning.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Peace. I can't even I don't know. Is that the
- 0:24Speaker 1: right Irish Irish accent?
- 0:28Speaker 2: It's better than I could do.
- 0:30Speaker 1: Let me let me hear yours?
- 0:31Speaker 2: Should we call Nile Horn? Happy?
- 0:34Speaker 1: Happy?
- 0:35Speaker 3: Thank you?
- 0:35Speaker 2: I can't have it for you.
- 0:37Speaker 4: I don't think I don't think I can do that
- 0:40Speaker 4: Patrick's Day.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Patrick's Day. The look of the Irish, the leper come
- 0:44Speaker 1: mm hmm, tops out you want to give it a swing?
- 0:49Speaker 1: Happy Saint Patrick's Day. No, well I knew I have
- 0:54Speaker 1: a little bit of Irish, so do.
- 0:55Speaker 5: You We told you that between Nile Horn.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Oh yeah, all of a sudden he's golfing with no horn.
- 1:06Speaker 1: So it is Saint Patrick's Tank. Let mean, it's fun
- 1:10Speaker 1: little Irish music here that will fit the bill. Okay,
- 1:14Speaker 1: that's rue. Okay, there we go. Let's see. Also this
- 1:17Speaker 1: morning we had a morning hack. If you're playing on
- 1:19Speaker 1: celebrating Saint Patrick staff got some tips to prevent a
- 1:22Speaker 1: rough morning the next day. Wow, this is a story
- 1:25Speaker 1: kiss FM. So you're in your job thinking about going
- 1:28Speaker 1: to work, like you got to go to your office
- 1:31Speaker 1: or wherever you work, your store, whatever it is, and
- 1:34Speaker 1: I don't even understand it. Yeah it Sysney got some details.
- 1:37Speaker 1: But there's a little buzz in the workplace workspace world
- 1:42Speaker 1: about being able to wear no shoes at work. Now,
- 1:45Speaker 1: what in the world has inspired this to become a
- 1:47Speaker 1: mainstream conversation?
- 1:48Speaker 2: Could this be the norm? Very much? Could be?
- 1:52Speaker 5: I find it very interesting, but also I don't exactly
- 1:55Speaker 5: know how I would feel about seeing everybody in their
- 1:58Speaker 5: socks and slippers. Okay, Apparently some offices are going footwear
- 2:02Speaker 5: free as a way to reduce stress and to make
- 2:05Speaker 5: the workplace more comfortable. Companies, especially startups, are experimenting with
- 2:10Speaker 5: rules like no bare feet, clean socks only, and you
- 2:14Speaker 5: still wear shoes, but only in bathrooms or outdoors. But
- 2:18Speaker 5: the idea is of letting people, you know, kind of
- 2:19Speaker 5: kick off their shoes and make things feel more relaxed,
- 2:21Speaker 5: boost more rale, and maybe even help with the creativity
- 2:25Speaker 5: and focus when it comes to the actual work.
- 2:28Speaker 2: That you're doing.
- 2:29Speaker 1: I'm against it. I'm against it. I don't mind what
- 2:32Speaker 1: kind of open tow you wear or you can come
- 2:34Speaker 1: in and a I don't care, but I don't need
- 2:37Speaker 1: I am.
- 2:37Speaker 5: Not right like to say, like like tubs in his
- 2:40Speaker 5: socks and like Mark and his socks, like I don't know.
- 2:44Speaker 4: No, and like we're just giving too many non.
- 2:47Speaker 6: No.
- 2:47Speaker 1: There needs to be a little bit of like standard
- 2:48Speaker 1: operating procedure out a job decorum, a little bit like
- 2:52Speaker 1: I don't feet no comfortable footwear? Yes, yeah feet.
- 2:57Speaker 5: Imagine going out in like the sales department and everyone's
- 2:59Speaker 5: like there's suits and like nice.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Let sy upon arrival, full stop. No even no more
- 3:08Speaker 1: on that one.
- 3:08Speaker 2: I love it so much. Well, it is a topic.
- 3:13Speaker 5: And can you even imagine the smell like people take
- 3:17Speaker 5: off their shoes for like one second when you're going
- 3:19Speaker 5: through the airport security and that whole area just reeks.
- 3:23Speaker 1: The answer is no here on this I have to
- 3:26Speaker 1: tell something.
- 3:27Speaker 4: What sometimes during the show I take my.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Show, Yeah, will you kick them under the counter but
- 3:35Speaker 1: he's under the counter or.
- 3:36Speaker 4: Something, Yes, because I like to see Chris cross applesau sometimes.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Yeah, well at two point seven kiss at them. And
- 3:44Speaker 1: we have a call on the line from mid City.
- 3:45Speaker 1: It's Abbey who is asking for advice. Have you a
- 3:48Speaker 1: date tonight and needs some suggestions or guidance.
- 3:52Speaker 7: Well, so I have a first date tonight and he
- 3:55Speaker 7: offered to pick me up, and I said, sure, is
- 4:00Speaker 7: I've actually known him for a while. He's a friend
- 4:03Speaker 7: of a friend. Okay, But then I kind of started
- 4:06Speaker 7: like freaking out because do I really want him to.
- 4:09Speaker 5: Know where I live?
- 4:12Speaker 2: He's a part of a friend.
- 4:14Speaker 7: Right, But now I'm torn like should I let him
- 4:18Speaker 7: pick me up or you know, just meet him at
- 4:20Speaker 7: the restaurant?
- 4:22Speaker 2: I say, don't let him pick I don't see an
- 4:24Speaker 2: issue with this.
- 4:24Speaker 5: If he's a friend of a friend, you're connected with
- 4:27Speaker 5: him somehow, you know him.
- 4:28Speaker 1: I'm with you, and is he offering to pick you up?
- 4:31Speaker 1: I mean he is, so why is that? I think
- 4:33Speaker 1: that's a nice thing. The only thing that is awkward
- 4:36Speaker 1: is to drop off. So maybe I should rethink this
- 4:38Speaker 1: because if you if you come solo and then you
- 4:41Speaker 1: can go back on your own, then you don't have
- 4:43Speaker 1: to worry about that awkward. And I find it it's
- 4:45Speaker 1: does no matter what happens on that date, that moment
- 4:48Speaker 1: where he's going to drop you off is not comfortable.
- 4:51Speaker 4: Yes, I say, you meet him there. If it goes well,
- 4:54Speaker 4: you can have him take you home.
- 4:56Speaker 1: But doesn't, you can leave on your own. Say, look
- 4:58Speaker 1: forward to seeing you again.
- 4:59Speaker 2: That's a good happy medium.
- 5:02Speaker 7: Yeah, maybe I'll maybe I'll like take it, you know,
- 5:04Speaker 7: an uber to the restaurant yet dry? All right, Yeah,
- 5:11Speaker 7: that could work.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Have you ever had somebody say I'm just thinking to
- 5:14Speaker 1: think over the years, when I've walked someone back to
- 5:17Speaker 1: their door, you know, and then you try and give
- 5:21Speaker 1: him a kiss and they kiss you, and then afterwards
- 5:23Speaker 1: they go, oh, he went in for the kiss. Have
- 5:26Speaker 1: you heard say that to you after you kiss?
- 5:30Speaker 7: No? No, no, it's never happened.
- 5:32Speaker 1: To me anyone in the back room. Wow, either, I
- 5:37Speaker 1: just wasting.
- 5:39Speaker 2: She was being flirty like, oh you went in for
- 5:41Speaker 2: the kiss.
- 5:42Speaker 1: That's what I thought, but clearly maybe not. Yeah, no,
- 5:45Speaker 1: it's because we went out again.
- 5:46Speaker 4: Okay, It's still awkward no matter what.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Happens after that. In that moment, it's always uncomfortable.
- 5:51Speaker 5: To be a fly on the wall and spy on
- 5:53Speaker 5: you on a date would be like like the favorite
- 5:56Speaker 5: thing that I could.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Do, never gone on cook FM headlines with Tanya rad Well.
- 6:04Speaker 8: An extreme heat warning is an effect across SOCO, with

- 6:22Speaker 8: to the ballpark. Amazon is rolling out one hour and
- 6:25Speaker 8: three hour delivery options on certain items and certain cities,
- 6:29Speaker 8: including La and Olivia. Rodrigo keeps teasing her next musical era.
- 6:34Speaker 8: Vans have spotted a purple mural featuring a redesigned logo,
- 6:37Speaker 8: which set off the hashtag Olivia is Coming on two points.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Out a tip them. Mikila is well, you know she's
- 6:45Speaker 1: in the backroom. She's a single dating apps and she well.
- 6:48Speaker 1: The opening lines that the guys have been sending her
- 6:51Speaker 1: are pretty remarkable in many senses. We did a reading
- 6:54Speaker 1: a few weeks ago, and it was very fun for us,
- 6:57Speaker 1: very entertaining to hear how people are opening up or
- 7:00Speaker 1: men are opening up to you with their first lines.
- 7:02Speaker 1: So you have some new ones, you get a lot
- 7:04Speaker 1: of traffic it sounds like that.
- 7:05Speaker 9: Yeah, I do, but nothing, you know, nothing, no track
- 7:09Speaker 9: you know.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Did you respond to any of the others?
- 7:13Speaker 9: Now those ones? I think I only liked one.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Guy out of those, I liked one.
- 7:17Speaker 4: Well, did you respond to him?
- 7:18Speaker 2: I thought we did. He didn't respond.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Good looking guy looked like Channing Tatum.
- 7:21Speaker 9: Yeah that Yeah, he didn't. He didn't respond it.
- 7:25Speaker 4: You got to keep it fast.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Okay, Well what do you got now you've been sitting
- 7:29Speaker 1: on knees. Yeah, let's hear him.
- 7:31Speaker 10: I already X some of these books. Okay, so the
- 7:34Speaker 10: first one him, MICHAELA. You're definitely my type. You seem
- 7:36Speaker 10: fun and intelligent. What's your ideal weekend?
- 7:40Speaker 1: I'm smart. I didn't get I like it. I like
- 7:42Speaker 1: complimenting intelligence. M hmm. I think that's very good. And uh,
- 7:47Speaker 1: did you respond to that one?
- 7:49Speaker 10: He didn't.
- 7:49Speaker 9: He wasn't really my type.
- 7:51Speaker 2: The guy on the tall file, Yes.
- 7:53Speaker 1: So cute, so cute pictures. I don't know for me.
- 7:59Speaker 1: He's not for me.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Yeah, but he's a baldy though he doesn't have hair.
- 8:04Speaker 9: It reminded me of dad.
- 8:05Speaker 1: He should not post a picture with that lamp in
- 8:07Speaker 1: the fame.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Looks like a catalog photo.
- 8:11Speaker 4: Okay, hair coming, hair comes and goes, so well, this
- 8:14Speaker 4: guy has gone.
- 8:17Speaker 10: Sail from zero to ten? What are the chances I
- 8:20Speaker 10: take you out on a date?
- 8:21Speaker 2: Cute but wearing an apron?
- 8:24Speaker 9: He was, and I didn't get it.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Yes, did you try to show he's good cold?
- 8:30Speaker 10: But he could have put that in his profile and
- 8:32Speaker 10: he didn't.
- 8:32Speaker 9: I'm on the fence.
- 8:35Speaker 1: It's an easter egg. He looks pretty good looking at he's.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Covering half of his face with the selfie.
- 8:40Speaker 1: He looks angry.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Yeah, now that I zoom in angry right now.
- 8:44Speaker 1: I don't know about this next guy, but he's got
- 8:45Speaker 1: my look.
- 8:46Speaker 10: I can't even see his eyes. But he said that's
- 8:48Speaker 10: a lavishing smile.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Why is he so hysterically laughing and looking down?
- 8:53Speaker 1: But his hair is remarkable?
- 8:55Speaker 9: Yeah, good hair.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Hair is not my type.
- 8:58Speaker 1: He's a little older than you, I think, I think so,
- 9:01Speaker 1: I mean a lot older than you. I think I
- 9:03Speaker 1: think he's like thirty.
- 9:04Speaker 2: I think that's dyed hairs, not like real raise.
- 9:07Speaker 1: What did this guy say? Number three?
- 9:09Speaker 9: That's a lavishing smile, that's what he said.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean you do have a beautiful smile, but.
- 9:16Speaker 1: You don't say lavishing.
- 9:17Speaker 4: No, no, poor vanishing.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Uh okay, these are opening lines that Michael is actually
- 9:24Speaker 1: getting from dating. After two more lines, she's out of
- 9:29Speaker 1: the game. Okay.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Number four.
- 9:33Speaker 10: I was gonna say, rooftop patio view with the bottle
- 9:36Speaker 10: of wine and a movie sounds like a good plan.
- 9:38Speaker 10: Four hour first date, but a bar with a good
- 9:40Speaker 10: cocktail is the way to go.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Cut like his first idea, I don't have the rooftop patio.
- 9:45Speaker 6: I agree.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Do you have to Yeah? Why do you have to
- 9:48Speaker 1: go further? He had it, He panicked, he screwed himself up,
- 9:53Speaker 1: but he kept talking. Shut it.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Yeah, he's too much information from this guy.
- 9:59Speaker 1: One more open line? All right?
- 10:01Speaker 2: Is there?
- 10:01Speaker 7: All right?
- 10:02Speaker 10: Last one? Good morning, MICHAELA, how is your weekend? This
- 10:05Speaker 10: is cute?
- 10:06Speaker 2: This is cute.
- 10:07Speaker 9: I think it was the photo, but a lot of emojis.
- 10:11Speaker 1: I don't know. He's I don't know what's going on
- 10:13Speaker 1: with that guy.
- 10:17Speaker 5: Is it the buckethead or the sunglasses that take space?
- 10:20Speaker 1: He's on a long hike somewhere and haven't been back
- 10:23Speaker 1: in a while.
- 10:23Speaker 2: I like it.
- 10:25Speaker 5: I feel like he could be cute, but you can't
- 10:27Speaker 5: see anything.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Back to the drawing board, michaela. Let's get that billboard up,
- 10:33Speaker 1: Mary Michaela kiss ev one at two point seven. It's
- 10:37Speaker 1: kiss FMLA. I got to do a second date update.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Why because dating is the worst. Nathan is on the line, Nathan,
- 10:45Speaker 1: how are you?
- 10:48Speaker 6: I'm hopeful?
- 10:49Speaker 1: Hopeful? I like that You're hopeful romantic? All right, so
- 10:51Speaker 1: Nathan you are? I got your email. I just want
- 10:55Speaker 1: to share this with the crew here. So you say
- 10:58Speaker 1: that in Culver City, you say you met at Bayou
- 11:01Speaker 1: in West Hollywood. He spilled his drink on you, You danced
- 11:04Speaker 1: for hours, you made out, and at the end of
- 11:06Speaker 1: the night, you gave him your number and he never called. Right,
- 11:09Speaker 1: that's it, that's what we know.
- 11:12Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Yeah, well look but I don't like no one number really,
- 11:20Speaker 1: no one ever doesn't use your number.
- 11:23Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 11:24Speaker 1: So this is an ego blow or this is somebody
- 11:26Speaker 1: you want to actually go out with. What's where are
- 11:28Speaker 1: we going here?
- 11:30Speaker 6: It's both, Ryan.
- 11:32Speaker 1: All right, this is about ego and it's also about
- 11:36Speaker 1: what's more about you than this guy. It sounds like
- 11:38Speaker 1: you want to know what, like why didn't you call me?
- 11:41Speaker 1: Of old people? So we'll find out. Uh, can you
- 11:43Speaker 1: tell me about the dude?
- 11:46Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 11:47Speaker 6: He was great. I mean he danced, he's a great dancer.
- 11:53Speaker 6: I kisses so well. Uh and I thought we actually
- 11:57Speaker 6: had a connection, you know, because we were dancing, were
- 12:00Speaker 6: making out, we were dancing. We didn't get to talk
- 12:02Speaker 6: very much though, because you know, it was really loud
- 12:04Speaker 6: in the music. But I just want to see him again.
- 12:08Speaker 6: I want to see if this is, you know, something
- 12:10Speaker 6: that we can make a thing, because I feel like
- 12:13Speaker 6: it could be.
- 12:14Speaker 1: What's his name? What's this guy's name? JJ, JJ stand by,
- 12:19Speaker 1: We're gonna try it. We're gonn try and get to JJ.
- 12:21Speaker 1: I wanna find out wy JJ didn't use your number?
- 12:24Speaker 1: Nobody puts Nathan on not call that's right or in
- 12:29Speaker 1: the corner?
- 12:30Speaker 6: All right?
- 12:31Speaker 1: Hold on second? I kiss FM one A two point
- 12:34Speaker 1: seven kiss FM. Now let's get to this second date
- 12:38Speaker 1: update because you don't know, but we do. Dating is
- 12:42Speaker 1: the worst. It is just tough to meet people that
- 12:47Speaker 1: check all the boxes hard, right, I mean, you meet
- 12:51Speaker 1: somebody they check a couple of boxes and then it
- 12:53Speaker 1: turns out they do something really strange. It's not going
- 12:57Speaker 1: to kill you, but it's a deal breaker. It's like,
- 13:00Speaker 1: what is up without that one thing? I can't get
- 13:02Speaker 1: out of my mind that one deal breaker box. I'd
- 13:04Speaker 1: be fine, but no, you you you did something.
- 13:10Speaker 6: I did something.
- 13:12Speaker 1: No, no, no, I'm talking about I'm I'm I'm talking
- 13:17Speaker 1: about life.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Yeah in general.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Yes, I'm just saying to Mikayla and I this is
- 13:22Speaker 1: our life. So I'm saying, Mikayla's single in the back room,
- 13:28Speaker 1: it was all locked up around here.
- 13:31Speaker 4: Well we all have to get there.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Yeah, well, good for you. So Nathan met this guy
- 13:38Speaker 1: in Culver City. The guy spilled a drink on you.
- 13:40Speaker 1: What drink did he's spilling you? This JJ?
- 13:43Speaker 6: He spilled like some kind of vodka soda or something.
- 13:46Speaker 6: Wasn't that bad? But I was just like, it's not
- 13:48Speaker 6: cool to be wet, you know, right then?
- 13:51Speaker 1: And it stinks? Yeah, all right, so malcohol stinks when
- 13:56Speaker 1: it's So we're gonna call him find out why he
- 13:59Speaker 1: blew you off. You said these words to me. I
- 14:01Speaker 1: give out my number of people, and no one never
- 14:03Speaker 1: calls me.
- 14:05Speaker 6: Right, that's what I said. That doesn't happen in me.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Okay, Then we're gonna find out you like the guy, JJ.
- 14:10Speaker 1: You think you think you want to date the guy
- 14:11Speaker 1: or guad again?
- 14:12Speaker 6: Right? Yeah? Yeah, but we did meet in West Hollywood.
- 14:16Speaker 6: I live in Culver City.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Well, dude, I work in Culver City and Burbank. Ain't
- 14:23Speaker 1: that big of a deal.
- 14:23Speaker 2: There is not that far.
- 14:25Speaker 1: I mean we're talking about a hill that Nathan. Hold
- 14:28Speaker 1: on one second. It's a hill, guys, really a hill
- 14:33Speaker 1: to get over? JJ. Hello, Hello, hi JJ. Sorry, your
- 14:39Speaker 1: voice is to be a broadcast on the radio. My
- 14:40Speaker 1: name is Ryan. I've Sisney and Tanya with us here.
- 14:42Speaker 1: We'll call me about a guy you met in West
- 14:45Speaker 1: Hollywood out one night and buy you called Nathan. Guy
- 14:49Speaker 1: named Nathan. Remember him?
- 14:52Speaker 3: Uh, you've got to be killing.
- 14:55Speaker 1: No, no, no, Nathan. Do you remember him?
- 14:59Speaker 6: Uh?
- 15:00Speaker 1: No?
- 15:00Speaker 3: He did not meet it by you in West Hollywood.
- 15:03Speaker 3: We met at Flaming Saddles before it closed, and he
- 15:07Speaker 3: came back to my place.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Okay, buy you the Flaming Saddle. Oh it doesn't matter.
- 15:12Speaker 1: What Well, why do you come back to your place?
- 15:14Speaker 1: And then please share with us what happened at your place?
- 15:19Speaker 6: Uh?
- 15:20Speaker 3: Did he ask you to call me to find out
- 15:22Speaker 3: why bloom off that night?
- 15:24Speaker 1: Yes?
- 15:26Speaker 3: Then okay, I will tell you why bloom off that night?
- 15:30Speaker 3: Because we hooked up before and he didn't even remember me,
- 15:36Speaker 3: So let me tell you how it went down.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Tell me, please, please, please please, as if he's not
- 15:41Speaker 1: even listening, tell me.
- 15:44Speaker 3: So, I'm at Bayou having fun, and you know, there
- 15:48Speaker 3: he is, that guy hooked up with in April. I
- 15:51Speaker 3: liked him, you know, I'm gonna go dance with him.
- 15:54Speaker 3: So I did, and we made out. It was great,
- 15:58Speaker 3: and I was thinking, maybe tonight's going to be round two.
- 16:02Speaker 3: So I'm getting ready to leave, assuming he's coming with me,
- 16:07Speaker 3: and he reaches over and writes his number on my hand,
- 16:11Speaker 3: like I have your number, honey. That's when I realized,
- 16:14Speaker 3: like he didn't even remember me.
- 16:17Speaker 4: Yike, that's bad.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Okay. What did he say to you when you said, Nathan,
- 16:23Speaker 1: we've met? Oh?
- 16:26Speaker 3: Well, I didn't even tell.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Him you were done with him because he had amnesia
- 16:31Speaker 1: when it came to the night you had, which not
- 16:33Speaker 1: doesn't feel good. Would you ever want to go out
- 16:36Speaker 1: with the guy again, Nathan, the gentleman you met?
- 16:39Speaker 3: Uh No, I don't think that's likely.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Would you like to tell him that?
- 16:46Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I have a lot to say to this.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Oh okay, well let's go. Nathan is on the phone
- 16:52Speaker 1: right now. Yeah, what would you like to say? Nathan,
- 16:56Speaker 1: how would you like to respond?
- 16:58Speaker 6: I we just hang up. I think I don't know you.
- 17:03Speaker 3: You should have never made this call to begin with.
- 17:06Speaker 3: How dare you not remember me? I'm the best you've
- 17:09Speaker 3: ever had.
- 17:11Speaker 6: No, I do remember you. It was so fun.
- 17:15Speaker 5: No, I want to see you again.
- 17:17Speaker 6: That's why I made the call. That's why I was
- 17:19Speaker 6: trying to get a hold of you again.
- 17:22Speaker 3: Oh that's too bad, sweetie. That ship has sailed and
- 17:25Speaker 3: you will never be on it again, which is too
- 17:27Speaker 3: bad for you. And now I will take great pleasure
- 17:30Speaker 3: and delight in hanging up on your in front of
- 17:32Speaker 3: Ryan Secrets in all of Los Angeles and God and everybody.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Boy.
- 17:37Speaker 3: Bye.
- 17:39Speaker 2: Yeah, what just happened.
- 17:47Speaker 6: Happens to me either. So I don't know.
- 17:50Speaker 2: I don't know what to tell you.
- 17:54Speaker 6: Okay, Well thanks, thanks for trying.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean we can just work on remember bring people.
- 18:02Speaker 1: It was dark, Nathan, Nathan, Nathan, you got it. You
- 18:07Speaker 1: gotta write some notes down or something.
- 18:09Speaker 4: But yeah, that's bad.
- 18:11Speaker 1: I mean, look, if you're having that much traffic, you
- 18:14Speaker 1: gotta write down some notes.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Traffic. Brother, want Nathan, this is a learning.
- 18:23Speaker 1: This is not good. He's not for you. It's bye.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Boy bye, as he said, and we appreciate you listening.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Let us know if you go out with somebody else
- 18:30Speaker 1: and need some help. All right, bro, thanks for calling
- 18:34Speaker 1: the bye boy.
- 18:37Speaker 4: That's bad.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Come on, we'll we agree. That's a second date update.
- 18:42Speaker 1: That's why we do it.
- 18:44Speaker 11: On air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Seven. I mean, I find myself when I talk to
- 18:54Speaker 1: people been in it for a long time, saying all right, well,
- 18:56Speaker 1: what's the secret? Like I've said, that's such a pessimistic
- 18:59Speaker 1: thing to have to say. When someone's like, oh, I've
- 19:00Speaker 1: been married for whatever, You're like, well, what's the secret?
- 19:02Speaker 1: Orhy isn't it of you a secret? I can just work,
- 19:04Speaker 1: but that's what I do. And now there's a secret
- 19:08Speaker 1: that can help you have a healthy just a healthy relationship.
- 19:13Speaker 1: But you have to do something every single day as
- 19:15Speaker 1: a discipline.
- 19:16Speaker 5: Yes, kind of like if you get in a slump
- 19:18Speaker 5: in your relationship.
- 19:19Speaker 2: You've been together for a long time. You have a
- 19:21Speaker 2: long day.
- 19:22Speaker 5: Every day is a long day at work, so when
- 19:24Speaker 5: you get home you kind of zone out in front
- 19:26Speaker 5: of your phone. Are you zoned out in front of
- 19:27Speaker 5: the TV or whatever? Before you go to bed. They
- 19:30Speaker 5: say this ten minute rule is a simple fix. You
- 19:34Speaker 5: just set aside ten minutes every day for one person
- 19:37Speaker 5: to speak while the other listens quietly, then switch. So
- 19:42Speaker 5: it's not like a full one. Let's sit down and
- 19:44Speaker 5: let's drive a little bit. But it kind of I
- 19:49Speaker 5: see where this could be. It's basically about like the
- 19:51Speaker 5: no distractions, no multitasking. It's about just giving emotional space
- 19:55Speaker 5: to share stress, your wins, your worries, anything, it could
- 20:00Speaker 5: be goal related.
- 20:01Speaker 2: I know you're gonna be grumpy about this.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Love I still want to talk about all that stuff.
- 20:04Speaker 4: No, it's so good.
- 20:06Speaker 5: But here's the thing, Like communication, that's what the whole like, well,
- 20:09Speaker 5: communication is key, Like this is.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Where it all stems.
- 20:12Speaker 1: But every day you'll ask what are your worries?
- 20:14Speaker 5: No, I don't If you don't say that, that could
- 20:17Speaker 5: be if that was the day where you had worries,
- 20:19Speaker 5: then you vent your worries that day.
- 20:21Speaker 2: If you had a great day, then you vent your
- 20:22Speaker 2: great days.
- 20:23Speaker 5: Like when I when we talked to Taylor Swift earlier
- 20:25Speaker 5: this week, Its like I came home and Michael was like,
- 20:28Speaker 5: oh my gosh, the interview was great and like we
- 20:30Speaker 5: went through everything and like she's amazing.
- 20:32Speaker 2: That was a great day, you know. So some days
- 20:34Speaker 2: are good, some days not so much.
- 20:36Speaker 1: My mom texted me after the Taylor Swift conversation with
- 20:40Speaker 1: had So she text me a lot recent. My gosh,
- 20:44Speaker 1: you have to go way back.
- 20:45Speaker 5: So this could be morning coffee, this could be at
- 20:47Speaker 5: the end of the day. It really is amazing.
- 20:49Speaker 4: Is it ten minutes? One person? Ten minutes? There's a
- 20:51Speaker 4: twenty total five and five.
- 20:52Speaker 5: No, it's ten minutes total. But the what when one
- 20:54Speaker 5: person is speaking, let them speak until they're doing, until
- 20:58Speaker 5: they're done.
- 20:58Speaker 1: But you could also do tune, like let's get real.
- 21:01Speaker 5: No, because the whole issue with this is that your
- 21:05Speaker 5: thoughts get interrupted, and so if you can like really
- 21:07Speaker 5: kind of just get out what you're gonna say and
- 21:10Speaker 5: then they reply back or then they get to speak,
- 21:12Speaker 5: it's different. I love it because you get sidetracked sometimes
- 21:15Speaker 5: also start saying something and then he'll say something and
- 21:17Speaker 5: then we what I was going to say.
- 21:19Speaker 2: I lost my point.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Well, my mom said about the Taylor Swift Cone said, hey, Ry,
- 21:24Speaker 1: just heard your Taylor Swift chat. So personable.
- 21:28Speaker 2: Oh she's the best, so cute.
- 21:31Speaker 1: I don't run this down and that everybody and I.
- 21:34Speaker 1: So if you plan on a date and it's like
- 21:39Speaker 1: this weekend, do you need to confirm it the day of?
- 21:42Speaker 1: So there's a dude. This is actually something that I
- 21:44Speaker 1: read on Reddit. There's a guy named Jay, and he
- 21:46Speaker 1: says that he showed up for a date on a
- 21:48Speaker 1: Friday night and his date never showed up. So he
- 21:51Speaker 1: calls to like, where what happened to you? And she's
- 21:54Speaker 1: at home and she said, well, I didn't hear from you.
- 21:56Speaker 1: They made plans a few days ago, but he didn't
- 21:58Speaker 1: double up the confirmation on the day of, so she
- 22:01Speaker 1: thought it was off but didn't reach out to him.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Now I'm paranoid of this happening, so I'm paranoid of it.
- 22:12Speaker 1: So I always doubled down on the confirmation, usually the
- 22:16Speaker 1: night before, so that there's time to make sure that you.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe they want to get a cute outfit or.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Something whatever, but you do need to I think if
- 22:26Speaker 1: you make plans three days out, you got to make
- 22:29Speaker 1: a second confirmation closer.
- 22:32Speaker 4: I don't even have to like confirm it. You can
- 22:33Speaker 4: literally just say excited to meet you or something.
- 22:36Speaker 2: Excited for tonight.
- 22:37Speaker 1: But I don't know that anybody's wrong here, like he
- 22:39Speaker 1: assumed it was happening. She assumed it was off.
- 22:41Speaker 5: Maybe she should have was Friday and she hadn't heard
- 22:45Speaker 5: from him since Wednesday, like he responded, when did the
- 22:49Speaker 5: plans become unconfirmed?
- 22:50Speaker 2: Between Wednesday and Friday?
- 22:52Speaker 1: She should have? Should she have reached out and said, hey,
- 22:54Speaker 1: are we on? I didn't hear from you.
- 22:55Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 22:56Speaker 5: I'm the person like if it's in my calendar, like
- 22:58Speaker 5: we made plans, like it isn't it was two months ago.
- 23:01Speaker 2: You don't have to call me the morning of like
- 23:03Speaker 2: a baby.
- 23:04Speaker 1: You might not show up, So I will double confrom this.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Yeah, if they if.
- 23:07Speaker 4: I didn't get a like a can't wait to meet
- 23:08Speaker 4: you or excited to see you, I'm not showing up.
- 23:11Speaker 1: And this is why, this is why the internet has defied.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Right here, I got the front room. In the back room,
- 23:16Speaker 1: I got a studio. You got the new intern Sophia,
- 23:20Speaker 1: you got Phonsie, got Mikayla. There's Ruby Lots goes into
- 23:24Speaker 1: all the things that happen here, and that's great. Don't
- 23:27Speaker 1: forget about all busy Tubbs is here too, but he's Tubbs.
- 23:31Speaker 1: So I'm talking about the back room specifically. Sydney has
- 23:35Speaker 1: some drama to break down, and we just need to
- 23:37Speaker 1: make sure it's like a family meeting.
- 23:39Speaker 2: It is a family meeting.
- 23:40Speaker 1: You can't have any tension. Things, can't just sit what's
- 23:43Speaker 1: happening sinstant in the back room.
- 23:45Speaker 2: So last week.
- 23:49Speaker 5: McKayla expressed that she missed the Jonas Brothers concert and
- 23:59Speaker 5: then that because she was going to like so many shows, right,
- 24:04Speaker 5: so she was like back to back going to San Diego.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Where was the show that you were supposed to go to?
- 24:08Speaker 9: Phoenix?
- 24:08Speaker 5: It was Phoenix And she missed because she was filling
- 24:12Speaker 5: in for Ruby. Because Ruby got married and went on
- 24:15Speaker 5: your honeymoon? Were you gone, horle I went on a
- 24:16Speaker 5: mini moon, many moon mini moon? And so she was
- 24:20Speaker 5: kind of just like letting out the fact that that
- 24:23Speaker 5: Jonas brother specifically that show the main was the special
- 24:27Speaker 5: guest and the main is your favorite.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Just get to the issue of what why please? I
- 24:33Speaker 1: can hear issue? The issue is Ruby scheduled her mini
- 24:36Speaker 1: moon during your favorite concert.
- 24:38Speaker 12: Yeah, and I thought you were going to go to
- 24:41Speaker 12: see another show though I didn't know it was that one.
- 24:43Speaker 10: No, it was Jonas in the main. But Ruby she
- 24:46Speaker 10: had her wedding, I mean, you know, what are we
- 24:48Speaker 10: gonna do?
- 24:48Speaker 5: And so she held it down because she had to
- 24:51Speaker 5: and that and that was that. But I was like,
- 24:54Speaker 5: you're not holding any like grudge or like resentment or
- 24:57Speaker 5: anything like that, right.
- 24:59Speaker 9: I mean, it was a once the lifetime thing then
- 25:00Speaker 9: I'll never see again. But no, I'm just kidding.
- 25:03Speaker 1: No, it's okay if you're not it's fair, all right?
- 25:07Speaker 1: So Ruby, uh, do you have anything to ease the
- 25:11Speaker 1: pain for Michayla here?
- 25:14Speaker 2: No?
- 25:15Speaker 9: I mean I told her thank you for covering for me.
- 25:17Speaker 12: I don't know, like months ago, so I didn't know
- 25:23Speaker 12: she was gonna go, and then she said last minute
- 25:25Speaker 12: she was trying to go.
- 25:26Speaker 2: So I was like, oops, yeah.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Okay, I guess the way it was not okay the
- 25:31Speaker 1: way you say it's okay, Mikayla. But let's just put
- 25:33Speaker 1: it this way. When roles are reversed, guess who's stepping
- 25:37Speaker 1: up and in for you, Ruby, So you just mark
- 25:40Speaker 1: it down.
- 25:41Speaker 9: It's coming up.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well we're getting a billboard, so it's coming faster.
- 25:45Speaker 1: We better watch out. We're getting Mikayla met Mary MICHAELA
- 25:49Speaker 1: dot Calm on a billboard. All right, No tension, it's
- 25:53Speaker 1: a fair conversation. I think, look, Ruby, apparently this is
- 25:57Speaker 1: the once in a lifetime for you as well. So happened
- 26:04Speaker 1: half of the Oh my gosh, I'm just being a
- 26:08Speaker 1: broad statement.
- 26:10Speaker 2: A broad statement. Well not in here, look at us?
- 26:14Speaker 1: Well not me? All right? Next I got silent. You
- 26:18Speaker 1: guys are so awkward. Now I have this on air
- 26:26Speaker 1: with Ryan Seacrest, one of two point seven Kiss FM. Nick,
- 26:33Speaker 1: good morning, how are you, bro?
- 26:36Speaker 6: Hey?
- 26:36Speaker 5: Really good?
- 26:36Speaker 11: Right?
- 26:36Speaker 7: How are you doing?
- 26:37Speaker 1: I'm solid and thank you for asking, brother, So you
- 26:41Speaker 1: uh tell me what happened? A groomsman didn't get their
- 26:44Speaker 1: passport renewed in time for your wedding and his bailing.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Is that the scenario?
- 26:51Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 26:52Speaker 11: Yeah, So my wife and I just got married in
- 26:54Speaker 11: Greece a few weeks ago.
- 26:55Speaker 1: It was cute, amazing.
- 26:59Speaker 11: I got a lot of family over there, so having
- 27:01Speaker 11: both our families and closest friends all together in one place,
- 27:04Speaker 11: it was really special. So one of my best friends
- 27:09Speaker 11: who was supposed to be a grounsman, he didn't end
- 27:11Speaker 11: up coming. And it wasn't because of money, it wasn't
- 27:14Speaker 11: because of work. It was because that he didn't get
- 27:17Speaker 11: his passport renewed in time and It's like, I get
- 27:23Speaker 11: that the passport system can be a little unpredictable, but
- 27:26Speaker 11: we were.
- 27:26Speaker 3: Playing in this wedding for almost two years. He had
- 27:30Speaker 3: so much time to renew it.
- 27:31Speaker 1: So what's the question though, Because what's done is done right,
- 27:35Speaker 1: So what's your question about it?
- 27:38Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 27:38Speaker 11: Well it just makes me think, like, wasn't intentional?
- 27:43Speaker 1: No, I don't think so. I do dumb things like this.
- 27:47Speaker 1: And because I'll tell you, why is he married or single?
- 27:50Speaker 11: He's single?
- 27:51Speaker 1: Okay this, I have really dumb things happen to me
- 27:55Speaker 1: if there's someone sometimes not around to remind me of things.
- 27:58Speaker 1: And I just I don't think he do that intentionally.
- 28:01Speaker 1: So you kind of gotta let I think you gotta
- 28:04Speaker 1: let it slide.
- 28:06Speaker 5: There's also ways around this, though, Like you could do
- 28:08Speaker 5: a rush passport. He could have gone in Sack downtown
- 28:12Speaker 5: LA and gotten.
- 28:14Speaker 11: When he told me about the issue, there was still
- 28:16Speaker 11: enough time to pay for expedited service.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Yeah, but you're also asking him to pay to go
- 28:20Speaker 1: to Greece. Maybe he just didn't want to admit to
- 28:22Speaker 1: you it's expensive.
- 28:25Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 28:26Speaker 1: I'm just given you the all sides of this thing,
- 28:28Speaker 1: Like if he it's a grip to go and travel
- 28:31Speaker 1: and if you've got a job, and he may tell
- 28:33Speaker 1: you that, he mayn't want to say that, so I don't.
- 28:36Speaker 1: I would not hold a grudge on this one. And
- 28:39Speaker 1: congratulations on finding the one for you, the human for you,
- 28:43Speaker 1: And good luck.
- 28:44Speaker 6: Bro, Thank you Ryan. I really appreciate that you.
- 28:47Speaker 1: Take your care all right, buddy, Bye bye. It could
- 28:50Speaker 1: be that I think you just wouldn't want to say that. Yeah,
- 28:53Speaker 1: this is a story kiss FM. So you're in your job,
- 28:56Speaker 1: thinking about going to work, like you've got to go
- 28:58Speaker 1: to your office or wherever you work, your store, whatever
- 29:01Speaker 1: it is, And I don't even understand it. Yeah It'sisney.
- 29:05Speaker 1: You got some details. But there's a little buzz in
- 29:08Speaker 1: the workplace workspace world about being able to wear no
- 29:12Speaker 1: shoes at work. Now, what in the world has inspired
- 29:15Speaker 1: this to become a mainstream conversation?
- 29:17Speaker 2: Could this be the norm? Very much? Could be?
- 29:20Speaker 5: I find it very interesting, But also I don't exactly
- 29:23Speaker 5: know how I would feel about seeing everybody in their
- 29:26Speaker 5: socks and slippers. Okay, but apparently some offices are going
- 29:30Speaker 5: footwear free as a way to reduce stress and to
- 29:33Speaker 5: make the workplace more comfortable. Companies, especially startups, are experimenting
- 29:39Speaker 5: with rules like no bare feet, clean socks only, and
- 29:42Speaker 5: you still wear shoes, but only in bathrooms or outdoors.
- 29:46Speaker 5: But the idea is of letting people, you know, kind
- 29:47Speaker 5: of kick off their shoes and make things feel more relaxed,
- 29:50Speaker 5: boost morale, and maybe even help with the creativity and
- 29:53Speaker 5: focus when it comes to the actual work that you're doing.
- 29:57Speaker 1: I'm against it. I'm against it. I don't mind what
- 30:00Speaker 1: kind of open toe you wear, or you can come
- 30:02Speaker 1: in and a I don't care, but I don't need
- 30:05Speaker 1: I am not.
- 30:06Speaker 5: Right like ready to see like like Tubs in his
- 30:09Speaker 5: socks and like Mark and his socks, like I don't know.
- 30:12Speaker 4: No, and like we're just giving too many No.
- 30:15Speaker 1: No, there needs to be a little bit of like
- 30:16Speaker 1: standard operating procedure out a job decorum, a little bit
- 30:20Speaker 1: like I don't feet, No, it's a comfortable footwear, yes, yeah, feet.
- 30:25Speaker 5: Imagine going out in like the sales department and everyone's
- 30:27Speaker 5: like in their suits and like nice.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Sy upon arrival, full stop. No even no more on
- 30:36Speaker 1: that one.
- 30:37Speaker 2: I love it so much, so.
- 30:41Speaker 5: Well, it is a topic and can you even imagine
- 30:43Speaker 5: the smell like people take off their shoes for like
- 30:46Speaker 5: one second when you're going through the airport security and
- 30:49Speaker 5: that whole area just reeks.
- 30:51Speaker 1: The answer is no.
- 30:52Speaker 4: Here on this I have to tell you something. What
- 30:56Speaker 4: sometimes during the show, I take my show.
- 30:58Speaker 1: Yeah, will you kick them under the counter, but he's
- 31:03Speaker 1: under the counter he or something?
- 31:04Speaker 4: Yes, because I like to sit Chris cross applesau sometimes.
- 31:07Speaker 1: Yeah, that's your issue. Well, it is one of two
- 31:10Speaker 1: point seven Kiss FM. I say, guys, gonna do it
- 31:14Speaker 1: for us. Uh So, just a busy show inside the
- 31:18Speaker 1: studio here this morning. But what did we miss while
- 31:21Speaker 1: the show was going on in the back room? What
- 31:24Speaker 1: do we miss back there?
- 31:25Speaker 10: Well, the room is like really hot and stuffy back here.
- 31:28Speaker 10: It's a little musty and so we're just kind of
- 31:31Speaker 10: trying to air it out and.
- 31:35Speaker 1: No circulation. He sometimes, well we have six windows.
- 31:39Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Well call the building. They'll be back in a day.
- 31:43Speaker 1: For a year, just kiss Thanks for listening so on
- 31:46Speaker 1: air with Ryan Seacrest. Make sure to subscribe and we'll
- 31:49Speaker 1: talk to you again tomorrow.
