Shared Harvest Turns Surplus into Sustenance | Concord News
In Hopkinton, a grassroots movement called Shared Harvest is turning garden surplus into fresh food for families in need. Started by brothers Kyle and Griffin Pellerin in 2020 after seeing wasted produce and pantry shortages, the initiative now thrives with local gardeners donating veggies like kale and green beans, supported by volunteers and Work Song Farm. Donors can drop off items at the Slusser Center on August 19th and September 2nd from 3:30–5:30 PM—offering free, seasonal produce when it’s needed most.
