Man Accused of Arson and Assault in Dunbar | Charleston News
A 46-year-old man, Justin Charles Thomas, was arrested in Dunbar after allegedly setting a woman’s shed ablaze early Thursday morning—claiming he wouldn’t leave when asked and threatening to ignite it if cops arrived. The victim said she saw no one else around as flames erupted while she was inside the house; her father was also awakened by the fire. Thomas, reportedly not supposed to be at the shed, denied starting the blaze and now faces arson and domestic assault charges, held on a $50,500 bond with $500 cash required.
