- 0:00Restlessness, impatience and disturbance of the vital nature
- 0:06are signs of weakness in the vital and inability to hold the
- 0:11energy that is available to the vital.
- 0:14The strong vital nature will have the ability to remain calm
- 0:18and hold the energy without spelling it.
- 0:22For the spiritual seeker, there are various states of aspiration
- 0:26that can mirror the status of the vital nature.
- 0:29Aspiration can be a struggle, an effort, be filled with restless
- 0:34impatience. While it arises out of the
- 0:37psychic being, it manifests through the vital nature in the
- 0:40external being. And thus, even if the psychic
- 0:44being's aspiration is pure and strong, it may be impacted by a
- 0:48vital nature that is weak or immature and thus unable to keep
- 0:54a pure, strong flame active on a constant and unwavering basis.
- 1:01As the seeker becomes aware of these variations in the nature
- 1:04and intensity of the aspiration, he can work to shift his
- 1:08standpoint more to the psychic center, and from there work to
- 1:12bring calm and strength to the external being.
- 1:17The process of spiritual growth is one that requires patience,
- 1:21clarity of purpose, and persistence, with the focus
- 1:26maintained even during periods of dryness or difficulty.
- 1:30This implies that trying to hurry the process we're becoming
- 1:34upset at every obstacle is counterproductive and a sign of
- 1:39the admixture of the rajasic energy of the vital being.
- 1:43Elsewhere, the attitude has been described as one of having the
- 1:47focus and energy to accomplish the transformation in this very
- 1:51moment, combined with the patience for it to take many
- 1:56lifetimes for its completion. Srioro Bindu and the Mother both
- 2:00counsel A cheerful serenity and receptivity as making the
- 2:05process easier to sustain and carry forward even during the
- 2:09darkest times. Srioro Bindu observes quote.
- 2:14The impatience and restless disquietude come from the vital,
- 2:18which brings that even into the aspiration.
- 2:22The aspiration must be intense, calm and strong.
- 2:28That is the nature of the true vital also, and not restless and
- 2:32impatient. Then alone it can be stable.
