It's been an incredible 2023 and now we're looking ahead to 2024 and one of the biggest

stories to come out of last year, sadly, was anti-semitism and eyes were opened.

I think a lot was revealed and exposed on October 7th when Hamas brutally and demonically

attacked Israel.

So we're going to talk a little bit about that today.

Just your opening thoughts, Andy, just on Christians, the times we're living in prophetic

times and this new year that we have.

Well, the timepiece of the end times is Israel.

That's what a man named Blackstone said in his book, published around 1917.

He said, if you want to know what time it is, look at Israel.

And that was a good four decades before Israel became a nation again.

But that's the timepiece of God.

And what the Prophet Zechariah predicts two times is the world will turn against Israel.

And so I guess that was sort of the big surprise for me in 2023.

Israel was attacked, but the big surprise was for me was the world, including right here

in the United States, our own universities, becoming anti-semitic.

So we're living in a time period where Zechariah's prophecies are jumping right off the

pages in the prophetic fulfillment.

Yes, and we're going to talk about that.

There have been some hearings at the end of last year from these university presidents,

the Ivy League, and no surprise to you and I and those believers that are informed

and paying attention and watching these things.

But I think the level, Andy, of the Jew hate, let's just say what it is, it's anti-semitism.

There might be different levels of that.

And we've been seeing a lot of things maybe in our own country that has surprises because

we always thought, well, America is an ally of Israel.

You know what, let's just, I want to get your thoughts on that right now.

I don't want to skip that or run out of time before we talk about the universities.

And we're not talking about just the presidents.

We're talking about the whole academia, the professors.

And just for decades and decades and decades, first it's been, of course, against the Christian

world view, but now it's openly anti-Semitic in a lot of areas.

I would love to hear your thoughts on that.

We've seen a lot since the protests, the pro-Palestinian protests on college campuses.

So your thoughts on that before we go further?

Well, I mean, to me, the latest outrage was at the end of last year, you know, those

congressional hearings related to a couple of university leaders.

I mean, we're talking about major schools in the United States.

And these are environments where they micromanage everything in terms of speech, you know, safe

spaces and, you know, you name it.

And these individuals, presidents of the schools were asked, would genocide, arguing for

genocide or calling for genocide against the Jewish people with that violet, your coat

of conduct?

And they started to cough up these strange answers like, well, that depends on the context.

When, of course, if it was a conservative speaking against the trans movement, we all know

how, you know, that story would end.

So, you know, some of these professors or presidents have been removed from their position,

but to me, it doesn't look like much of a punishment because they're continuing on, you know,

as life-tenured professors.

So we're living in this climate where Jew hatred on American universities, I guess, is

acceptable.

And, you know, some of this is very prophetic, as you know, the world will turn against Israel,

but we didn't think, I guess we'd be seeing that in the year 2023, now 2024, to the level,

to the level that it has been.

I mean, we apparently haven't learned a lesson from the Holocaust.

And by the way, let's go to that right now.

I have something one to ask you about, disturbing new poll that came out showing that 20 percent

of Americans, college age, no surprise, Andy Woods, from 18 to 29 years old, 20 percent

of them think the Holocaust is a myth, while an additional 30 percent remain unsure.

So we know the K through 12 education system has edited world history and public school

textbooks have been, you know, edited, changed to reflect a different worldview, so to speak.

And a lot of things that we wouldn't consider true, but they are definitely programming

a generation, or I should say generations.

So your thoughts on this, and this was over at the economist slash Yu-Gov, a poll at

the end of last year.

So again, 18 to 29-year-olds think the Holocaust is a myth.

They're 30 percent, apparently aren't sure.

They don't know what to think.

Andy, it's not surprising, but very disappointing, isn't it?

Well, you know, as the saying goes, those that don't learn from history are condemned

or repeated.

And if you don't know anything about the Holocaust, when the whole thing mindset arises again,

how would you know it's wrong or wicked or evil?

And so this just shows you the power, you know, the potency of education.

You know, the Marxists a long time ago said we're going to take over education, and we're

going to use it to program the values of the next generation, and they've been very,

very successful.

I mean, hats off to their effectiveness.

But you know, I'm a product, David, of public schools.

I graduated from high school in 1985.

Everybody knew who Hitler was.

That was everybody knew what the Holocaust was, and now we have a generation, you know,

that's unclear who Hitler was or what the Holocaust was about.

And it's also started interesting that so many of these Middle Eastern dictators did their

education in thesis and dissertations, either marginalizing or denying the Holocaust because

it's the Holocaust that creates worldwide sympathy for the Jewish nation.

And what better way to turn the world against the Jewish nation than to either marginalize

or deny the Holocaust?

And so this is going to have a political ramification, you know, concerning our support for Israel.

And I think this is not surprising.

You go to the pages of Scripture, and you recently, or you know, a couple of weeks ago,

did a pastor's point of view.

You mentioned some scriptures from Zechariah, chapter 12 and 14.

Let's just, chapter 14 starts off the same behold, the day of the Lord is coming.

And then verse 2 says, for I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem.

The city will be taken.

If you go to verse 3, it says, then the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations

as he fights in the day of battle.

So Andy, help us make sense out of that.

It sounds like, okay, the day the Lord is coming, most of us are looking forward to it,

but I guess maybe we shouldn't be on this day.

But it says, I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem.

Can you explain that for us?

Well, God himself has set the stage for this that Israel is going to be put in a position

where the only entity that you'll be able to lean on is God himself.

Only God will be able to rescue her.

Man won't be able to do it.
9:25
So that means in order to set the table for the fulfillment of that prophecy,

that means the world turns against Israel.

That's what that prophecy indicates.

Israel has no help from the human perspective.

And we've always wondered for a long time, at least I have,

how in the world could a prophecy like that ever be fulfilled?

When America, going back to George Washington for the Jewish people,

going back to the Truman administration for the newborn state of Israel,

going back to the Nixon administration for the Yom Kippur War, et cetera.

America has always been a faithful ally to Israel.

I mean, how can you ever have a scenario where America herself would turn against Israel?

Well, we're actually starting to see that happen.

We're starting to see it in the executive branch of government.

We're starting to see it from the congressional delegation called the squad.

Even people that are so-called conservatives, I've noticed,

that are good on other limited government issues,

are now raising their voices against the Jewish people, somehow Israel brought this on themselves

with the events of October the 7th.

You now have Barack Obama coming out and basically saying

what Hamas did was terrible, but the so-called occupation is unbearable.

In other words, Israel brought it on herself.

So I guess what I'm saying is we're finally seeing the fruit of what Zechariah predicted

500 years before the time of Christ, that the world would turn against Israel.

And all means all, including us here in the Lake Great USA.

And how many times have we shown that map, like you have,

I'm sure on your pastor's point of view with Israel being this little speck in the massive

land around it with the coalition of nations.

And if there are occupiers, or if their colonizers, they're doing a horrible job at it,

because there are such a small spot, didn't you, in your book, the Middle East melt down?

Didn't you mention, was that the book you mentioned, the Nixon administration, how they helped

bail out gold in my air after the 3 a.m. phone call, and I think 1973, did you mention

it in that book?

I did.

It's a fascinating story.

Because when Nixon picked up the phone in the middle of the night, and it was gold in my

air asking for help, and remember Henry Kissinger Jewish himself, who just passed away, I think,

at the end of last year, if I remember right, said, let the Jews bleed for a while.

That's what he said.

And so when Nixon picks up the phone in the middle of the night, and gold in my air is asking

for help, he remembered a story that his mother taught him from the book of Esther.

Nixon was raised in a Christian kind of a quaker environment, but the Bible was taken

very seriously.

And one night she was reading to him when he was a little boy from the book of Esther.

And of course, the book of Esther is about the rescuing and the salvation of the Jewish

nation.

And she stopped right in the middle almost prophetically and said to her son, Richard,

if you're ever in a position of authority one day, you should use that position to help

the Jewish people.

And that's what went through his mind when he heard gold in my air's voice.

And he, at that point, he said to her, gold, I finally realized why I have become the

President of the United States.

And so it's one of the stories that really sends chills up your spine because it was Nixon

that sent valuable armament to help Israel in their greatest time of need and allowed them

to survive against all odds.

And this is the DNA of the United States.

Our country has always been pro-Israel.

It's disturbing to hear all of these voices, you know, that are now against Israel.

And I think we were, a lot of us were very disappointed when Barack Obama was elected in the direction

that his administration took toward Israel supporting Iran and all that.

So before we get going, I wanted you to share a quote by Charles Feinberg.

Yeah, I mean, the pertinent part of it is in 1950.

So that would be two years after Israel's war of independence.

That's right.

When the whole world was on Israel's side, Charles Feinberg, a famous Old Testament scholar,

by the way, one of the most renowned of his generation was doing, was offering in writing

a verse by verse commentary on the book of Zechariah.

And he got to Zechariah 12 verse 3 and Zechariah 14 verse 2, which you read a little earlier.

And he says, at the time of the end, you know, at the time of Israel's final seven-year

tribulation and the establishment of God's kingdom on the earth, he says, the nations

of the earth will be smitten with the virus of anti-Semitism, close quote.

And David today, we're all worried about viruses.

And here's a spiritual virus, Feinberg predicted just by studying Zechariah that the world

would be influenced negatively by a virus, and that virus would be anti-Semitism.

Israel would lose her popularity, and the nations of the earth would turn against her.

And he said, that's what a plain reading of Zechariah indicates.

And so I go back to that quote a lot, because I think we're, as I said earlier, seeing

the manifestation of it today.

So we mentioned, we didn't quote this, but Zechariah 12 verse 3 specifically says, it

shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples.

All who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth

are gathered against it.

And it being Israel, correct?

Yeah, it's talking about the nations looking at Jerusalem as a burdensome stone.

And the more they try to move it, the more they'd hurt themselves.

It's like trying to move a massive object and actually developing a hernia, it's really

what that's talking about, as you're trying to move it.

And as the nations are trying to cut Israel, and that's what this two-state solution

does, right?

It divides the land of Israel.

It gives Judea and Samaria over to a group of people that are hostile toward Israel,

the so-called Palestinians.

The more that the nations would try to divide Israel, the more God would cut the nations.

And I just find it very interesting that as our nation has promoted this two-state solution,

God has literally cut our nation and divided it.

There is no time in our nation's history since the Civil War that we have been more divided

as a nation, you know, red-state, blue-state, liberal, conservative, in some cases, Republican

Democrat.

People are just at odds with each other at war with each other almost about everything

it seems in terms of worldview.

And I think that's an outworking of what Zechariah said would happen.

And really the whole thing goes back to Genesis 12, verse 3, where God says, if you curse

Israel, I will curse you.

And one other quick scripture, Joel 3 verse 2, predicts what is going to trigger God.

We talk about people being triggered today.

Why don't we ask what triggers God?

And what brings His wrath to the earth, according to Joel 3 verse 2, is the attempt of the

nations to divide His land.

And so that's the time period that we're living in now.

So there was an article at the end of the year last year that you shared in a pastor's

point of view with a picture of Netanyahu, it was from Newsmax, and it said the UN United

Nations calls for two-state solution to Israel conflict.

How long have we been hearing about this, Andy, and they're not going to let up, but

here's the UN, which has been anti-Israel for many decades.

What are your thoughts on this, because you have a large governing body now trying to put

pressure on Israel, and we're hearing this from a lot of different directions?

Well, what I think about it, the UN, you have to also think about another acronym called

the OAC, excuse me, the OIC, and that stands for the organization of Islamic cooperation.

And those are the now predominantly Islamic nations that have this massive voting block

within the United Nations.

And the reason the United Nations has gotten this direction is because of the OIC, because

in Islam, Jerusalem is a holy site, allegedly, and they look at the Jewish presence in that

part of the world as a use surpper against Allah.

And so it's kind of interesting that the United Nations in 1947, 1948 voted in favor of Israel.

I don't think the United Nations today would do that because of the presence of the OIC.

And I think what they want to do is to divide Israel.

They want to use this Palestinian issue as sort of a pretext to create a terrorist state

within the borders of Israel, much like Gaza.

So if you want a two-state solution, you already have it, it's Gaza, and that hasn't worked

so well.

So why would handing over Judea and Samaria somehow improve things?

So the whole thing is insane when you really think about it.

But that's what Zechariah said would happen.

The nations would be bitten by this virus and they'd become intoxicated, inebriated,

spiritually, where they're not thinking rationally.

So Caroline Glick wrote an article recently and entitled it Biden pushing for Israel to

lose to Hamas.

And this is over at WND World Net Daily.

It's very interesting because it seems like the administration, the Biden administration

is talking them through, out of both sides of their mouth, if that makes sense there,

they're supporting both sides.

And really you can't, but Andy, let me just quote this and get your take on it.

To force Israel to stand down, President Joe Biden's top advisors are descending on Israel

after one after another, to pressure and coerce Jerusalem to limit its military operations

in Gaza, Lebanon, and the Red Sea.

And it's all because of politics.

So your thoughts on this, and again, it's not surprising, but our administration is maybe

starting to turn a little bit.

What are you perceiving as far as that goes?

Well, what happened on October the 7th is it was Israel's 9-11.

In fact, a percentage wise, they've actually lost more people percentage wise, you know,

than we did in our own 9-11.

And when you look at the per capita, et cetera, so what did we do in 9-11?

Well, we rooted out terrorism wherever we could find it.

That's what our president at the time, George Bush said he would do by my count.

He was very successful at it.

So now we're turning around the Israel and we're saying you can't do what we did, even though

the terrorists are not coming in from Saudi Arabia to the United States, like they did

on 9-11, they're coming from your own southwestern area within your own borders, Gaza.

And so we're holding Israel to a standard that we certainly wouldn't never held ourselves

to.

And so it goes back to this double standard, this inebriation amongst the nations, not

thinking rationally, going back to what Zechariah said the direction the world would move

in just before the return of Jesus.

And we're already running out of time.

And let's just get down to what you see.

Maybe this year I'm not asking you to make any prophecies, but from what we've learned

and what we've seen and where our administration is and the anti-Semitism that seems to be

just off the charts, even in our own country, where do you see this headed, Andy, and just

some thoughts.

It's a big election year, a lot of implications geopolitically.

So just your thoughts in the last couple of minutes.

Well to me, this is the defining issue of the upcoming election.

I mean, what we do with this Israel issue is going to determine whether we're going

to be cursed or blessed as a country, Genesis 12, verse three, which to my mind is still

in operation, Genesis 12, verse three, there's no statute of limitations on that.

And so whoever people vote for, for a president in the primary or the general election, you

need to get their thoughts on what our philosophy as Americans should be towards the nation

of Israel.

So I'm always looking at candidates very, very carefully to see what they think about

this because that will largely determine whether we're going to be under God's protective

custody in the upcoming time period or whether we're going to fall under his curse.

And so when you look at the Biden administration, we desperately need new leadership.

And we need a conservative constitutional type of president and not just a conservative,

but someone who has a high view of Zionism and the right of the Jewish people and the

Jewish state to exist and prosper.

In light of what you just shared, and Genesis 12, three, it's just interesting where we've

been as a nation, the Obama administration, and then we had president Trump coming in

very pro-Israel.

And now we've got the Biden administration.

It just seems like, wow, we're teetering on our support.

But as you said earlier, the prophet Sakurai indicates there will be no one that will be

an ally to Israel in those days.

And we're getting closer.
