While speaking with Variety for a cover story, Gambit actor Channing Tatum revealed that he will be toning down the intentionally unintelligible Cajun accent he used in Deadpool & Wolverine for Avengers: Doomsday, as the Russo Brothers want to "keep the drama" and avoid going "full Deadpool" with the character. The actor also confirmed he suffered an on-set injury that required pain medication and will need six months of physical therapy as production on the film continues.
