- 0:05Speaker 1: Hey guys, I do part two, it's your celebrity mentor,
- 0:19Speaker 1: Cheryl Burke, and today I'm joined by Bachelor Nation alum
- 0:23Speaker 1: and my friend, Joan Vasovs. Today, we're going to be
- 0:26Speaker 1: breaking down some of the latest celebrity divorce and chapter
- 0:29Speaker 1: two news that is out there.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Let's get started.
- 0:31Speaker 3: Hi, Cheryl. It's been a long time. I know. It's
- 0:36Speaker 3: been like months and months. It really has. You look beautiful.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 0:41Speaker 4: So today, we're going to be breaking down, as we do,
- 0:44Speaker 4: some of the latest celebrity divorce and chapter two news
- 0:48Speaker 4: that is out there currently.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Hot topics. Shall we get started?
- 0:52Speaker 3: A lot to talk about. Let's get started.
- 0:55Speaker 4: Oh my God. So much to talk about. A lot
- 0:56Speaker 4: of people breaking up, which is really sad. You know,
- 0:58Speaker 4: I think there's statistics saying that like summer, like summertime
- 1:02Speaker 4: is when like a lot of couples actually break up
- 1:05Speaker 4: more than winter.
- 1:06Speaker 3: So I wonder why maybe in the winter you're like, well,
- 1:08Speaker 3: I'm not going to be able to find anybody. So
- 1:09Speaker 3: I won't do it then.
- 1:10Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 1:11Speaker 3: I'll hunker down for a couple more months until everybody's
- 1:14Speaker 3: out and about.
- 1:15Speaker 2: It was a hibernation winter time.
- 1:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Maybe, but there's never like a shortage of them though.
- 1:20Speaker 3: No matter when it's sad.
- 1:21Speaker 4: It is sad. Amanda Seyfried and Thomas, her now ex,
- 1:26Speaker 4: split after nine years of marriage. Yeah. And they've decided
- 1:31Speaker 4: to go their separate ways, but I guess they're still good.
- 1:34Speaker 3: They're good. People's Statement says that they've got each other forever,
- 1:39Speaker 3: and it's good. Seyfried, 40, and Sadowski, 50, first met
- 1:45Speaker 3: in 2015 while starring together in an off-Broadway play, The
- 1:49Speaker 3: Way We Get By. And then they were also in
- 1:52Speaker 3: another production, The Last Word, where they played love interest,
- 1:55Speaker 3: which I feel like is like a story often heard
- 1:58Speaker 3: that people meet while they're acting together and they are
- 2:02Speaker 3: love interest and it just kind of snowballs into real life,
- 2:05Speaker 3: which it looks like it happened for them. They also
- 2:07Speaker 3: have two kids. They got engaged later that year and
- 2:11Speaker 3: quietly eloped. And I love their elope story. I just
- 2:15Speaker 3: read this and I had no idea. It says, we eloped.
- 2:17Speaker 3: We just took off into the country with an officiant
- 2:20Speaker 3: and just the two of us. And we did our thing,
- 2:22Speaker 3: Sadowski said at the time. It was beautiful. It was
- 2:25Speaker 3: everything that it should be. It was just the two
- 2:27Speaker 3: of us talking to each other. And then they walk
- 2:30Speaker 3: into baby just like a week later, their first child,
- 2:32Speaker 3: their daughter, Nina. And then now they also have a
- 2:34Speaker 3: son named Thomas.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Time just flies.
- 2:36Speaker 4: I remember being at, who's Christmas party? It was, I
- 2:41Speaker 4: forgot his name, but he's a famous person. course i
- 2:43Speaker 4: don't know anyone's name um but he uh he was
- 2:46Speaker 4: having family guy what's his name the who's the guy
- 2:49Speaker 4: that does the voice for family guy.
- 2:51Speaker 3: I know i know what you're talking about seth mcfarland's
- 2:54Speaker 3: christmas party this was like i guess close to a
- 2:56Speaker 3: decade ago because that's the last time i saw.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Amanda oh wow there at that party and i.
- 3:00Speaker 4: Just can't believe it's been nine it's been a time
- 3:03Speaker 4: flies i cannot believe it but it's yeah it seems
- 3:06Speaker 4: to be a very intimate or it was an.
- 3:08Speaker 3: Intimate It sounds like they eased into it. It said
- 3:10Speaker 3: that they've been separated for a while and then just
- 3:12Speaker 3: ultimately decided this was the right thing for their family.
- 3:14Speaker 3: I wonder, like, do you think that, I'm wondering about that,
- 3:18Speaker 3: like for your kids. So, you know, they have these
- 3:21Speaker 3: two young kids and, you know, do you think that
- 3:24Speaker 3: separating for a period of time is a good idea
- 3:26Speaker 3: when you're choosing divorce and you think it like, it
- 3:28Speaker 3: makes a difference when you have kids?
- 3:30Speaker 2: Well, I come from a divorced family.
- 3:31Speaker 4: I think that, look, my mom, no matter what, was
- 3:37Speaker 4: said about each other. She really tried to still have
- 3:40Speaker 4: a relationship. She wanted me to still have a relationship
- 3:42Speaker 4: with my father, even if that meant going to Thailand
- 3:45Speaker 4: to visit him every year.
- 3:46Speaker 5: Wow.
- 3:48Speaker 3: Oh, so he lived really far away.
- 3:49Speaker 2: And he ran strip clubs.
- 3:51Speaker 4: And I was probably not in the right age group
- 3:54Speaker 4: to be around a bunch of underage strippers, right? Oh,
- 3:59Speaker 4: my gosh. Yeah.
- 4:01Speaker 3: You've had the most interesting life. You've told me a
- 4:02Speaker 3: lot of stories. You and I ended up in a
- 4:04Speaker 3: sprinter van on the way home from someplace for like
- 4:06Speaker 3: two hours. I was like, that was the most amazing.
- 4:11Speaker 4: Ride I've ever been in.
- 4:14Speaker 3: Every time I talk to you, something else comes out.
- 4:16Speaker 3: You hung out in strip clubs in Thailand with your,
- 4:19Speaker 3: with your dad.
- 4:19Speaker 4: I actually taught them how to dance when I was 18.
- 4:21Speaker 4: I went to go visit them. I went to go
- 4:24Speaker 4: visit him when.
- 4:25Speaker 2: I was of age, I guess. But over there, it
- 4:27Speaker 2: doesn't matter. Anywho, my point is that divorce is hard
- 4:30Speaker 2: for the kids.
- 4:32Speaker 4: I think when there is maybe no communication with both parents.
- 4:36Speaker 4: I mean, look, again, the environment wasn't right. But I
- 4:39Speaker 4: think that I am grateful that my mom made sure
- 4:43Speaker 4: that I had a relationship with my dad regardless. Yeah.
- 4:47Speaker 3: I feel like when they're doing divorce and it's just
- 4:49Speaker 3: two people and they don't have kids, that's one thing.
- 4:52Speaker 3: I love that they kind of eased into this. And
- 4:54Speaker 3: kind of like your mom and dad did, they eased
- 4:56Speaker 3: into it. They made sure that they did it right
- 4:57Speaker 3: and they made sure that the kids were cared for.
- 4:59Speaker 3: So I feel like they did this right, that they're
- 5:01Speaker 3: loving parents and that they are making sure that they
- 5:03Speaker 3: are good for the sake of their kids. And they're
- 5:05Speaker 3: doing exactly what's right.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Do you think they signed a prenup?
- 5:08Speaker 3: I got to guess they did, right?
- 5:10Speaker 1: Right?
- 5:10Speaker 2: I mean, if you're good. I mean, I guess even
- 5:13Speaker 2: with a prenup, sometimes it's not good. But like, I
- 5:16Speaker 2: don't know. I mean, I would assume, right? Because I
- 5:18Speaker 2: don't know how good they would be.
- 5:20Speaker 3: I don't know how successful. I mean, Amanda clearly is successful.
- 5:24Speaker 4: That's true.
- 5:24Speaker 3: I don't think he is. Like, I don't know. I
- 5:26Speaker 3: don't really know who he is.
- 5:27Speaker 2: So behind closed doors, like we don't know.
- 5:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:31Speaker 3: So I got a guess that she would have asked
- 5:33Speaker 3: for one, but I don't know. You never know.
- 5:34Speaker 4: You never know.
- 5:35Speaker 3: It's also sounds like she was pregnant when they got married.
- 5:37Speaker 3: So maybe like that ship had kind of sailed.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Totally.
- 5:41Speaker 5: A little bit.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Shall we move on to the other?
- 5:43Speaker 3: Let's move on.
- 5:45Speaker 4: Gosh, this is so sad. The Real Housewives of Salt
- 5:48Speaker 4: Lake City. I'm assuming this is what the abbreviation is.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Yes, it is.
- 5:52Speaker 4: Newport. Reveals her final straw in her marriage to Todd Bradley. Now,
- 5:58Speaker 4: have you watched Salt Lake City version?
- 6:01Speaker 3: I have not watched all the episodes, but I have
- 6:03Speaker 3: watched some of the episodes. I actually have not watched
- 6:06Speaker 3: her season. And she's been on for a while. So
- 6:08Speaker 3: apparently I'm really behind. I binge watched like three seasons
- 6:11Speaker 3: at one point.
- 6:11Speaker 2: What do you think of the Salt Lake City group?
- 6:15Speaker 3: I'm so surprised about how promiscuous they are. So, like,
- 6:21Speaker 3: I live here in D.C., right outside of D.C., and
- 6:23Speaker 3: we have a really big Mormon population. Really, really big.
- 6:26Speaker 3: I know a lot of Mormons. And what's that?
- 6:29Speaker 2: I said, interesting. I lived in Salt Lake. So, I
- 6:31Speaker 2: lived in Utah for, like, a solid two years or so.
- 6:33Speaker 3: But you totally get it. Like, I always thought that
- 6:35Speaker 3: they were very conservative. They wear these undergarments. They don't drink.
- 6:39Speaker 3: They don't, you know, they are so non-primitive. I'm just kidding. Yeah,
- 6:43Speaker 3: I mean, I am like, I am so surprised when
- 6:47Speaker 3: I watch Real Housewives of Salt Lake City and also
- 6:49Speaker 3: when I watch Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, which I
- 6:52Speaker 3: know is like, they're a different group all together, but
- 6:55Speaker 3: I'm very surprised by the people.
- 6:58Speaker 4: Yeah. No, I know.
- 6:59Speaker 2: But this is what happens when you take sex away
- 7:01Speaker 2: from people. Like, they find other ways.
- 7:03Speaker 3: They figure out a way to do it.
- 7:04Speaker 4: Of course. I'm telling you, this is why they ballroom dance.
- 7:07Speaker 4: That's why most of the pros on Dancing with the
- 7:09Speaker 4: Stars are all from Utah.
- 7:10Speaker 2: I'm not kidding.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Nuh-uh. So they can touch each other.
- 7:13Speaker 2: They can dry up each other. It's legal.
- 7:16Speaker 3: It's the thing. It's like what they do. They jump
- 7:18Speaker 3: on the beds. They do this weird thing that the
- 7:19Speaker 3: first time I heard it, I was like, this is like,
- 7:21Speaker 3: I don't think this whole no sex thing is working.
- 7:24Speaker 4: Yeah, no, I think it actually makes it just worse
- 7:26Speaker 4: in the long run.
- 7:27Speaker 3: It's like kids that aren't allowed to have candy. They
- 7:29Speaker 3: used to come to my house where we always had
- 7:30Speaker 3: candy and cookies and they were like raid our pantry
- 7:33Speaker 3: because the kids, the parents were taking it away from them.
- 7:35Speaker 3: It just makes them want it more.
- 7:36Speaker 4: Totally. And I was the kid that my parents were
- 7:39Speaker 4: taking that away from me. So I was at my
- 7:40Speaker 4: friend's house reading their, yeah. Yeah, that's the thing. I
- 7:43Speaker 4: still do it to this day. You tell me I
- 7:45Speaker 4: can't do something, don't do that.
- 7:46Speaker 3: That's exactly what you want to do. Well, she said
- 7:48Speaker 3: that things were over between them when Todd didn't plan
- 7:52Speaker 3: anything to mark their 40th birthday in September. So which
- 7:56Speaker 3: is crazy. No card, no gift, no party. She said,
- 8:01Speaker 3: it was my first birthday since my dad passed. So
- 8:03Speaker 3: obviously kind of a hard time for her. She was
- 8:05Speaker 3: going through it. And that was really like the death
- 8:08Speaker 3: of it. She said she ultimately realized I had been
- 8:10Speaker 3: by myself in that marriage for a long time and
- 8:12Speaker 3: I had to get myself out, she said. So she
- 8:14Speaker 3: finally did. How would you feel if somebody that you
- 8:17Speaker 3: were in a relationship with forgot your birthday? Or let's
- 8:20Speaker 3: say they forgot like Valentine's Day. That, by the way,
- 8:22Speaker 3: has happened to me.
- 8:23Speaker 2: They didn't forget.
- 8:24Speaker 4: Mm-mm. You know, I mean, that's just a red flag.
- 8:28Speaker 4: I mean, mind you, it must have been not just
- 8:30Speaker 4: that incident, right? Like she said, there was probably red
- 8:33Speaker 4: flags prior to that.
- 8:34Speaker 2: She felt alone already. That was definitely intentional.
- 8:38Speaker 4: And that was probably his way of wanting to break
- 8:41Speaker 4: it up, maybe without having the balls to just say
- 8:45Speaker 4: it out loud and do it.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Yeah. And the fact that she said that she felt
- 8:48Speaker 3: like they were, that she was alone for a long time.
- 8:51Speaker 3: That's sad. Yeah, but obviously things were bad anyway.
- 8:55Speaker 4: But wait, so Tom is also, I guess, significantly older.
- 8:59Speaker 4: Like old enough to be her father?
- 9:00Speaker 3: Probably, yeah. I looked up a picture of them before
- 9:03Speaker 3: we started this so I could see what he looked like. Yeah,
- 9:05Speaker 3: he is way older. And he totally outkicked his coverage.
- 9:10Speaker 3: She's way prettier.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Wait, what happened? So did she cheat or no one cheated?
- 9:14Speaker 3: He did cheat on her in the past. So, you know,
- 9:17Speaker 3: the thing is, I really feel like when you.
- 9:21Speaker 3: Ladies out there, all you ladies that they're asking to
- 9:23Speaker 3: go on a real housewife season, you're going to end
- 9:25Speaker 3: up divorced. They all do. It's just a storyline. It
- 9:29Speaker 3: always ends up being a storyline. I mean, it's bad.
- 9:32Speaker 4: What?
- 9:33Speaker 2: They all do.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Well, so many of them. I think there's very few,
- 9:36Speaker 3: like even ones that I thought were going to stay together,
- 9:39Speaker 3: like Kyle and, um, her husband, I can't remember. Um,
- 9:42Speaker 3: they even split up and I'm like heartbroken.
- 9:44Speaker 4: My maid of honor is now, she's a new cast
- 9:47Speaker 4: member of Beverly Hills.
- 9:48Speaker 2: My, my maid of honor, who was my maid of, Lydia.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Oh, I love Real Housewives of, um, Beverly Hills. That's
- 9:56Speaker 3: such a good one. I think the, only one that
- 9:58Speaker 3: still is around is Heather Dubrow. Is that right? Is
- 10:01Speaker 3: she the only one still married?
- 10:02Speaker 2: I think so.
- 10:03Speaker 3: She's one of the few housewives that has made it.
- 10:05Speaker 3: When Ashley Iaconetti was going on to Rhode Island, I
- 10:09Speaker 3: was like, don't do it. I love them. They are
- 10:11Speaker 3: like my favorite couple. They're a bachelor couple and I
- 10:13Speaker 3: love them. And I'm so worried about them.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Are they still together?
- 10:16Speaker 3: Yeah, they are. And they're young. They have young kids
- 10:18Speaker 3: and I feel like they have a great marriage, but
- 10:20Speaker 3: I just know it just all, they always end up divorced.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Makes me worried for her.
- 10:24Speaker 4: What if it was different?
- 10:25Speaker 2: Like what could they do differently? Maybe go to therapy or.
- 10:28Speaker 3: I think the show tries to make really little things
- 10:30Speaker 3: that are happening in the marriage more They try to
- 10:32Speaker 3: make them storylines and it blows them out of proportion
- 10:35Speaker 3: and it makes and it creates it creates problems. I
- 10:38Speaker 3: remember they tried to do it with Ashley and Jared.
- 10:41Speaker 3: He was talking about the business. He runs a coffee
- 10:44Speaker 3: shop and how it wasn't really super profitable and he
- 10:47Speaker 3: was trying to decide if he should stay with it and.
- 10:49Speaker 3: It sounded like she was trying to encourage him maybe
- 10:51Speaker 3: not to. And he was saying he felt really bad
- 10:53Speaker 3: about himself. And they made that a huge storyline. I
- 10:55Speaker 3: felt really bad for them because I felt like it
- 10:58Speaker 3: was just them talking, like shooting the shit, sitting at
- 11:01Speaker 3: the coffee bar, just making small talk, talking about life
- 11:04Speaker 3: a little bit. And they tried to make that a storyline.
- 11:06Speaker 3: It made me nervous. I thought, oh, Jared's going to
- 11:09Speaker 3: go down the rabbit hole and this is going to
- 11:10Speaker 3: be bad. They didn't. It's okay. But I don't trust them.
- 11:14Speaker 3: I don't trust those producers.
- 11:15Speaker 2: I mean, they did say yes to this, so.
- 11:18Speaker 4: Yep.
- 11:18Speaker 3: Yeah, it's true. When you're reality TV, it happens.
- 11:21Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah.
- 11:22Speaker 3: I think it has helped his business actually being on TV.
- 11:25Speaker 3: So I feel like things have gotten better for them financially.
- 11:29Speaker 3: And I feel like he feels like he is more
- 11:32Speaker 3: of a contributor. That was like the whole storyline. He
- 11:33Speaker 3: didn't feel like he was contributing enough to the marriage
- 11:36Speaker 3: because now she has this other gig. She's a real housewife.
- 11:39Speaker 3: She's become more famous. And he's just running this little
- 11:42Speaker 3: coffee shop, which is not a little coffee shop. It's big.
- 11:44Speaker 3: It's very popular. But I think it's doing much better
- 11:47Speaker 3: now that she's been on the They've been on.
- 11:58Speaker 4: TV. All right.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Speaking of more reality, we've got Taylor Frankie Paul.
- 12:03Speaker 4: Yeah, we do.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Oh, my goodness. Are you following her?
- 12:05Speaker 3: On Instagram? Oh God, I have, you know, I met her. Um,
- 12:09Speaker 3: they'd had all the former bachelorettes come on her season
- 12:12Speaker 3: of bachelorette and meet her. And I really liked her.
- 12:16Speaker 3: I thought the decision was really weird when they originally
- 12:18Speaker 3: made it. I'm like, what are we doing? She's not
- 12:21Speaker 3: our typical bachelorette. They were really shaking things up. And
- 12:24Speaker 3: I thought, okay, I'm just going to go with it.
- 12:25Speaker 3: I'm going to assume that they know what they're doing.
- 12:27Speaker 3: Then I met her and I was like, okay, like
- 12:29Speaker 3: she seems to be really open to finding somebody And
- 12:32Speaker 3: then I watched the season of Secret Lives of Mormon
- 12:35Speaker 3: Wives and her leading up to going to be on
- 12:39Speaker 3: The Bachelorette, like her night before. Did you hear all
- 12:41Speaker 3: about how she was sleeping with her ex-boyfriend, their baby daddy,
- 12:46Speaker 3: that she was supposedly trying to get away from by
- 12:48Speaker 3: going on becoming The Bachelorette? She was sleeping with him,
- 12:52Speaker 3: and she got up in the morning and didn't make
- 12:53Speaker 3: her flight to go to L.A. to be the star
- 12:55Speaker 3: of the show.
- 12:57Speaker 5: What?
- 12:57Speaker 4: Mm-hmm. What? Yeah. Yeah. How? How?
- 13:02Speaker 3: Yeah. Her family was knocking on the door. She wouldn't
- 13:07Speaker 3: come answer the door. Her friends finally, her friends were
- 13:10Speaker 3: at the airport with a, like, good luck, Taylor signs.
- 13:12Speaker 3: All the secret lives of women and wives were there
- 13:14Speaker 3: to greet her. She didn't show up. No show. And
- 13:17Speaker 3: then he was there. They drove by his house and
- 13:18Speaker 3: there his truck was sitting out in front.
- 13:21Speaker 4: What happened?
- 13:22Speaker 3: Yeah. She wasn't over him.
- 13:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:26Speaker 3: She was still with him. She had not broken it off.
- 13:29Speaker 3: She was getting ready to go be the star of
- 13:31Speaker 3: the show. They had spent so much money on her.
- 13:39Speaker 3: They'd already done promos for her. They'd done so much work.
- 13:42Speaker 3: And they eventually filmed the whole season. We didn't know this,
- 13:46Speaker 3: so we don't know this about Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
- 13:49Speaker 3: That has not aired yet, but the network knew about it, clearly,
- 13:52Speaker 3: because the person that's in charge of that show is
- 13:54Speaker 3: also in charge of Bachelor. So they know that that happened.
- 13:58Speaker 3: She came and filmed the whole show. Everything was fine.
- 14:01Speaker 3: She actually ended up engaged. Then she went back home
- 14:04Speaker 3: and everything fell apart. Well, it had never really gotten
- 14:08Speaker 3: a good start because she was still with Dakota. She
- 14:10Speaker 3: was never, she hadn't actually separated from him. Like supposedly
- 14:13Speaker 3: she was doing to come on the show and be
- 14:15Speaker 3: the bachelorette.
- 14:16Speaker 4: From what I've seen, their relationship is very toxic.
- 14:19Speaker 3: It's very bad and things are worse because she just
- 14:22Speaker 3: allegedly flunked multiple drug tests. And she's also dealt with
- 14:26Speaker 3: some mental health issues, which she's been getting help with.
- 14:28Speaker 3: But it sounds like. Something's happened because she has kids
- 14:34Speaker 3: with both this guy named Tate, her first husband, and Dakota,
- 14:39Speaker 3: and her visitation with those kids has been reduced. So
- 14:44Speaker 3: it says that she allegedly failed multiple drug tests in
- 14:47Speaker 3: the last 60 days, and as a result, we're told
- 14:50Speaker 3: the court ordered that she be limited to eight hours
- 14:53Speaker 3: of parenting time each week, four with her two kids
- 14:57Speaker 3: with Tate and four with her son with Dakota.
- 15:00Speaker 2: So sad for those kids.
- 15:01Speaker 4: My heart.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Who's taking care of them?
- 15:04Speaker 3: So from what I've seen, and I don't know this
- 15:06Speaker 3: for sure, but Tate, her first husband, seems like a
- 15:09Speaker 3: good dad, and he's also remarried, and it sounds like
- 15:11Speaker 3: they have a pretty stable home there. Dakota, on the
- 15:15Speaker 3: other hand, is a shitshow, and their relationship has been
- 15:20Speaker 3: very volatile. It's been in the news a lot. I
- 15:22Speaker 3: think there's gag orders on both of them now because
- 15:24Speaker 3: they kept trashing each other. It's very, very, very unhealthy.
- 15:27Speaker 3: That child is young. I think he's only about two now.
- 15:30Speaker 3: His name is Ever. And he's super young, so I
- 15:33Speaker 3: don't think he knows what's going on.
- 15:35Speaker 2: She threw chairs.
- 15:37Speaker 4: Didn't she throw chairs or something?
- 15:38Speaker 3: So, yeah, she was super.
- 15:40Speaker 4: She was. Yeah.
- 15:42Speaker 3: So she got arrested for that and she pled guilty
- 15:46Speaker 3: and she was on probation. She just got let off probation.
- 15:49Speaker 3: That was three years ago. So, yeah, that's true. So
- 15:52Speaker 3: while right after she filmed Bachelorette, she was she went
- 15:55Speaker 3: through the whole court proceedings and she got off of probation.
- 15:58Speaker 3: So she was all good. And it just sounds like
- 16:00Speaker 3: it's kind of taken a negative turn just really, really recently, allegedly.
- 16:05Speaker 3: But I think there's probably court documents we can see.
- 16:08Speaker 3: All of this has been pretty public. Even though kids
- 16:10Speaker 3: are involved, you've been able to read the court documents.
- 16:13Speaker 3: So I think we could probably confirm this.
- 16:16Speaker 4: I hope the kids are in therapy or getting some
- 16:18Speaker 4: sort of help. It's crucial, especially in such a young
- 16:22Speaker 4: age like that. That's the one thing my mom did
- 16:24Speaker 4: was really good. She put me into therapy. She divorced
- 16:26Speaker 4: my dad.
- 16:27Speaker 3: Oh, I love that. That was so smart. And I
- 16:31Speaker 3: don't know, I'm assuming that these kids are in therapy.
- 16:33Speaker 3: Like I said, I think that they have a pretty
- 16:34Speaker 3: stable life with her first husband, Tate. I do worry
- 16:39Speaker 3: about Ever, who's with Dakota, but I think her mom
- 16:42Speaker 3: is very involved with Dakota, with Ever, the two-year-old. Her
- 16:47Speaker 3: mom and sister take care of her, take care of
- 16:49Speaker 3: that baby a lot.
- 16:50Speaker 4: Like my first memory as a kid, I'll never forget it.
- 16:52Speaker 2: I was only two years old.
- 16:53Speaker 4: So like, I just think that, I mean, it was my,
- 16:58Speaker 4: I've said this a million times, I'll say it again,
- 16:59Speaker 4: but my father was with another woman, was with his secretary.
- 17:02Speaker 2: And like, I remember like it was yesterday and I
- 17:04Speaker 2: was only two.
- 17:04Speaker 4: Wow.
- 17:05Speaker 3: You remember that you have like a way back memory.
- 17:07Speaker 3: I don't have memory like that.
- 17:08Speaker 2: I think it's trauma, right?
- 17:09Speaker 4: That was very traumatic for me because I didn't know
- 17:11Speaker 4: that my mom and dad split. Like I didn't know where,
- 17:14Speaker 4: what I was doing. I just saw my dad and
- 17:17Speaker 4: this woman naked, like straight up naked.
- 17:20Speaker 3: No, you caught them.
- 17:22Speaker 4: Oh yeah. Oh, I wasn't trying to, I just wanted
- 17:24Speaker 4: him to change the channel.
- 17:25Speaker 2: I was watching Sesame Street.
- 17:27Speaker 3: Oh, my gosh.
- 17:28Speaker 2: PBS or something.
- 17:29Speaker 3: And you walked in on it.
- 17:31Speaker 4: Yeah. Oh, Jesus. But what I'm saying, the whole point
- 17:34Speaker 4: of me saying this is that, like, you do hope
- 17:36Speaker 4: that the kids are like where they are today.
- 17:38Speaker 2: They're not with their parents. Right.
- 17:41Speaker 4: So I think it's still it's just like they're with fathers.
- 17:44Speaker 4: But obviously they know there's some sort of something happening. Right.
- 17:47Speaker 3: Yeah, you got to imagine as they get older, they're
- 17:50Speaker 3: going to become very aware of this terrible relationship and
- 17:53Speaker 3: about how their mother is. And she's very prolific on Instagram.
- 17:57Speaker 3: She's posting stuff all the time. And the fact that
- 18:00Speaker 3: they're not living with her. I mean, they haven't lived
- 18:01Speaker 3: with her in a really long time, like either one
- 18:04Speaker 3: of the kids. So Dakota's in custody, mostly custody of Ever,
- 18:08Speaker 3: and only got to stay, I think, overnight with her
- 18:12Speaker 3: very recently. And now that's been cut off, it looks like.
- 18:15Speaker 4: Was she a good mom?
- 18:16Speaker 3: I don't know. I mean, I think she's had some issues.
- 18:19Speaker 3: It's like on TV when you watch her taken care
- 18:21Speaker 3: of ever, she looks fine. She looks like a normal mom.
- 18:25Speaker 3: And like when she does exchange with him, you know,
- 18:27Speaker 3: when they exchange the baby, but the baby is little,
- 18:30Speaker 3: like she's feeding them, you know, he's in a high chair.
- 18:32Speaker 3: He's a little guy.
- 18:33Speaker 2: Yeah, better not to maybe be around if she's under
- 18:37Speaker 2: the influence, especially, you know?
- 18:38Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 18:39Speaker 3: You don't see her kids very much on the show.
- 18:41Speaker 3: In fact, the first two, I don't think you ever see.
- 18:43Speaker 3: I think that they had an agreement when she joined
- 18:46Speaker 3: Secret Lives that she had an agreement with her husband
- 18:50Speaker 3: that they would not show the kids on TV.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Are they going to air her season of Bachelorette?
- 18:55Speaker 4: Or they did?
- 18:56Speaker 3: They haven't aired it yet. I don't think they will.
- 19:00Speaker 3: I think right now it would be really detrimental to
- 19:02Speaker 3: her mental health. I think she is not stable.
- 19:04Speaker 4: I don't know if the network's necessarily thinking about her. Sorry,
- 19:07Speaker 4: but I just wonder if the network would do it.
- 19:09Speaker 4: Maybe not, because it's also.
- 19:10Speaker 2: ABC, right?
- 19:12Speaker 3: It's all ABC. I feel like they would be very
- 19:15Speaker 3: irresponsible to do that. I just feel like that people would.
- 19:18Speaker 4: The only reason why I bring it up is because
- 19:20Speaker 4: I heard that they.
- 19:21Speaker 2: I just heard... I don't know where I heard it,
- 19:23Speaker 2: but I heard.
- 19:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I think that they need to care about it,
- 19:28Speaker 3: because I think that she has been really, really... pretty
- 19:31Speaker 3: vocal about her mental health i think they'd be they'd
- 19:33Speaker 3: be bad yeah and they and they haven't yet so
- 19:35Speaker 3: i do think they are thinking about her a little bit.
- 19:37Speaker 4: Yeah i've seen a little bit of her social media
- 19:40Speaker 4: i think she loves the fame that's what i mean
- 19:42Speaker 4: and i and and not you know not saying like
- 19:44Speaker 4: look i don't know what's best for her i don't
- 19:46Speaker 4: know her right but i just you know whatever i'm
- 19:49Speaker 4: just one like, if that is something that she would
- 19:52Speaker 4: even be opposed to doing for it to air.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know. From what I understand, it's a
- 19:59Speaker 3: really good season and she comes off really good. She
- 20:02Speaker 3: comes off as a very strong woman. I told you
- 20:05Speaker 3: I met her. She seemed really nice. She seemed really
- 20:08Speaker 3: open to the whole thing. I think, though, that everybody
- 20:10Speaker 3: would look at it through a different lens because we've
- 20:13Speaker 3: now seen Secret Life of the Mormon Wives and her
- 20:16Speaker 3: several weeks of leaning into her leaving to go film Bachelorette.
- 20:20Speaker 3: She was at Dakota the whole time. So it was
- 20:23Speaker 3: never over. So people are going to watch this show,
- 20:26Speaker 3: and they also know how it ends. They know that
- 20:28Speaker 3: she ends up engaged. They know that that gets broken
- 20:31Speaker 3: off immediately within a month or two when she gets home,
- 20:34Speaker 3: and she's back with Dakota. So we all know how
- 20:37Speaker 3: it ends. We all know how it kind of had
- 20:39Speaker 3: a bad beginning. We all know how it ends. The
- 20:41Speaker 3: whole middle part is just kind of going to be
- 20:43Speaker 3: a joke because even though we know that she's there
- 20:46Speaker 3: and she's also, you know, she also, you know, she
- 20:52Speaker 3: pretends to fall in love or maybe she really does
- 20:54Speaker 3: fall in love. I don't know. But it all ends
- 20:57Speaker 3: up in a different, you know, she's not.
- 20:58Speaker 4: I can see her actually thinking that she's in love.
- 21:00Speaker 4: I don't know if she's actually in love. You know,
- 21:02Speaker 4: like the excitement of just, in general, right? The highs
- 21:06Speaker 4: and lows.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:08Speaker 4: I don't, I mean, I don't know if she's ever
- 21:10Speaker 4: admitted that she's an addict. You know, I, there's, I,
- 21:13Speaker 4: from just, I'm not, I don't want to like pour
- 21:15Speaker 4: judgment on her, but like, I would, I'm an addict
- 21:17Speaker 4: as well. So like, I, I can see there's like
- 21:20Speaker 4: some similarities, maybe not in, I mean, like in different things, obviously,
- 21:23Speaker 4: but like, I understand the highs, you know? Yeah.
- 21:27Speaker 3: You should follow her on Instagram.
- 21:29Speaker 4: I do. I do. I do.
- 21:30Speaker 2: But there's only so much I can do.
- 21:32Speaker 3: Yeah, she's very erratic. And so she did end up
- 21:35Speaker 3: with a guy that.
- 21:36Speaker 4: She got into.
- 21:37Speaker 2: I appreciate her vulnerability, though.
- 21:38Speaker 5: I do.
- 21:39Speaker 4: I do, too.
- 21:39Speaker 3: And I want only the best for her, especially since
- 21:42Speaker 3: she has kids. I feel like this is really, this
- 21:44Speaker 3: is hard on them. I think she needs to just
- 21:46Speaker 3: disconnect from everything.
- 21:48Speaker 2: But she's not going to, though. But she's not going
- 21:50Speaker 2: to do that.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Well, she finds so much validation in followers and her
- 21:54Speaker 3: followers are not your friends.
- 21:55Speaker 4: And the more people do this to her, the more
- 21:57Speaker 4: people do it, the more she's going to do it.
- 21:59Speaker 4: Like I think people, I think you're investing so much.
- 22:03Speaker 2: This is what she wants, right?
- 22:04Speaker 4: Like, but subconsciously, I'm not saying she's doing this maliciously.
- 22:07Speaker 4: She's doing it because like, you know, she made me
- 22:10Speaker 4: find love. She must, it must fill something up temporarily
- 22:13Speaker 4: inside of her.
- 22:14Speaker 2: And I understand, man. I get it. Yeah.
- 22:16Speaker 3: It's a lot of pain. I do feel like she has,
- 22:20Speaker 3: a lot more going on inside of her head than we,
- 22:22Speaker 3: than we get.
- 22:23Speaker 4: And maybe she can't even be this vulnerable with like
- 22:25Speaker 4: person to person, you.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Know, maybe this is her outlet.
- 22:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:28Speaker 3: Could be.
- 22:28Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 22:29Speaker 3: I mean, she seems to make everything very public. She
- 22:32Speaker 3: posts on Instagram all the time. I don't think maybe
- 22:34Speaker 3: not as much now, but she really wants to pour
- 22:37Speaker 3: her heart out. I read it all. My, my heart
- 22:39Speaker 3: goes out to her. I, I, she's suffering. She clearly
- 22:43Speaker 3: is suffering.
- 22:44Speaker 4: I just hope that she's getting the help she needs. Yeah.
- 22:46Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, She has a lot of people around her.
- 22:48Speaker 3: I know she has a mom who really, really cares
- 22:50Speaker 3: about her. A mom and a father and a sister
- 22:52Speaker 3: who she's very close to. So hopefully they're helping her out.
- 22:55Speaker 4: Where does she live? Utah?
- 22:56Speaker 3: Yeah, Salt Lake City.
- 22:58Speaker 4: I send her a lot, but I send anyone who's
- 23:00Speaker 4: feeling down because it's hard out there.
- 23:03Speaker 3: It is hard out there, yeah. And doing it in
- 23:05Speaker 3: the limelight is really hard.
- 23:07Speaker 4: Yeah. Mormon Wives star Jessie Draper says she's scared to
- 23:20Speaker 4: ever marry again after two divorces.
- 23:23Speaker 3: Yeah. So she's 34 years old. She appeared on Tuesday,
- 23:27Speaker 3: September 15th episode of Just Trish podcast with Trish Paytas
- 23:32Speaker 3: and was asked if she would ever get married again. Draper,
- 23:35Speaker 3: who split from her estranged husband, Jordan, early this year
- 23:39Speaker 3: admitted that she was not looking to rush into another marriage.
- 23:42Speaker 3: But we do know, if you've been watching the show
- 23:45Speaker 3: at all, that she has been with the star, one
- 23:48Speaker 3: of the stars from Vanderpump Villas, Marciano, which was a
- 23:52Speaker 3: whole big storyline on that show. And she said, we
- 23:55Speaker 3: can be married, but I'm scared to make it official,
- 23:58Speaker 3: which I don't understand what that means. We can be married.
- 24:01Speaker 3: but I'm scared to make it official. I don't know
- 24:03Speaker 3: what that means.
- 24:04Speaker 2: Like they can be partners.
- 24:06Speaker 1: Okay.
- 24:07Speaker 4: Playhouse.
- 24:07Speaker 3: They're going to play house.
- 24:08Speaker 4: Okay.
- 24:09Speaker 3: And, but they're not going to make it official. They're
- 24:10Speaker 3: not going to actually go to the church.
- 24:13Speaker 2: That's what she wants, but that's not what he wants.
- 24:16Speaker 4: Right. Yeah.
- 24:17Speaker 3: But I kind of feel like he's secondary to her.
- 24:20Speaker 3: She's the big star here. She's made, she's had a really,
- 24:23Speaker 3: really big storyline on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. She
- 24:27Speaker 3: started owning hair salons and it's become a huge empire.
- 24:30Speaker 3: I think she makes a lot of money. I think
- 24:32Speaker 3: he is kind of the backseat to her in this relationship.
- 24:37Speaker 4: Thank God you're doing this with me because I have
- 24:39Speaker 4: not watched one show you're mentioning.
- 24:42Speaker 3: It's I literally have too much time. I binge watch shows.
- 24:47Speaker 3: I will say like, I'm going to watch secret lives
- 24:49Speaker 3: of Mormon wise this weekend.
- 24:50Speaker 4: And I will watch it when Harry met Sally or
- 24:52Speaker 4: when let's marry Harry.
- 24:54Speaker 2: I can, I can talk about that.
- 24:55Speaker 3: I haven't watched that one. So we'd be great.
- 24:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:58Speaker 3: We'd be perfect.
- 24:59Speaker 2: I watched most of it.
- 25:00Speaker 4: I didn't see the reunion, but from what I've heard,
- 25:02Speaker 4: nobody ended up really marrying Harry.
- 25:05Speaker 3: If you know what I mean, Mary, Harry's not really married.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Harry is not married.
- 25:09Speaker 3: No one wants Harry.
- 25:10Speaker 2: And Harry definitely wasn't ready to marry.
- 25:13Speaker 3: Season two, Harry might marry somebody else.
- 25:16Speaker 4: I guess.
- 25:17Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 25:18Speaker 4: Why do they have to always get to the marriage, though,
- 25:21Speaker 4: right away? There's got to be a healthier way here, huh?
- 25:24Speaker 4: I know.
- 25:24Speaker 3: I've engaged to the same guy for two years. I'm
- 25:26Speaker 3: not rushing into marriage.
- 25:28Speaker 2: But that's what I mean.
- 25:28Speaker 4: But every show, The Bachelor, your show, you know, Love
- 25:32Speaker 4: is Blind. Like, can we just not get married?
- 25:34Speaker 2: Like, what if we don't get married?
- 25:35Speaker 3: What if we're just like- 90 Day Fiance?
- 25:37Speaker 4: Hello?
- 25:38Speaker 3: But maybe like.
- 25:38Speaker 4: The statistics would be higher, right? Of people actually ending
- 25:43Speaker 4: up working out. Like, I think the pressure is so high.
- 25:47Speaker 3: It takes a long time to fall in love. I
- 25:48Speaker 3: don't think you can fall in love that quickly. You
- 25:50Speaker 3: can take a leap of faith, like kind of I
- 25:52Speaker 3: did or like these people do. But then after you
- 25:54Speaker 3: take the leap, then you need to kind of step
- 25:55Speaker 3: back and actually live with these people.
- 25:57Speaker 4: But you're being like, that's like, you're an adult. You're
- 26:00Speaker 4: thinking a lot of people don't know that, by the way.
- 26:03Speaker 3: I hope they're listening.
- 26:07Speaker 2: No, and I was in, I was, I like to
- 26:10Speaker 2: say I'm recovering, but like.
- 26:11Speaker 3: You're a recovering love addict.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:14Speaker 4: And it's a real thing.
- 26:16Speaker 3: I think that people like get infatuated and they mistake
- 26:18Speaker 3: it for love or just want to be in love.
- 26:20Speaker 2: It's the high.
- 26:21Speaker 3: It feels good to be in love.
- 26:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 26:22Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah. All right.
- 26:24Speaker 3: Well, we have more divorces to talk about, I'm afraid.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Stay singles.
- 26:29Speaker 2: The moral of the story.
- 26:30Speaker 4: There we go.
- 26:30Speaker 3: I'm with you.
- 26:33Speaker 4: So Candy Burris slams ex-Todd Tucker after he reveals they
- 26:38Speaker 4: had threesomes.
- 26:39Speaker 2: First of all, why is he revealing this?
- 26:42Speaker 3: Why are we talking about your sex life?
- 26:46Speaker 2: Why is he doing that?
- 26:47Speaker 3: Oh, he said we did. I would say for most
- 26:50Speaker 3: of our marriage, we did. That is insane. I don't understand. Well,
- 26:55Speaker 3: they dropped it in the trailer for his upcoming tell
- 26:58Speaker 3: divorce do us part where he shared that he and
- 27:00Speaker 3: Burris had multiple threesomes during the course of their 11
- 27:03Speaker 3: year marriage. She's pissed. She says a man who has
- 27:06Speaker 3: already hurt me to my core is furthering the damage
- 27:10Speaker 3: by choosing to sensationalize our sex life to stretch his
- 27:14Speaker 3: five minutes of fame. What consensually happens between a husband
- 27:18Speaker 3: and wife in the privacy of their marriage is exactly that, private.
- 27:22Speaker 3: His current behavior has only confirmed that I did the
- 27:24Speaker 3: right thing by getting a divorce. I do, I did,
- 27:26Speaker 3: and I'm done.
- 27:27Speaker 4: So clearly they did not.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Do they have a prenup? They must have not.
- 27:31Speaker 3: I have no idea, but I feel like it wouldn't
- 27:34Speaker 3: have mattered. Like if she was not losing money or
- 27:36Speaker 3: if they were, if I don't think it mattered, she
- 27:39Speaker 3: was done with him. This was like, he, this was
- 27:42Speaker 3: just too much. Like this is, can you imagine that
- 27:44Speaker 3: being revealed about your sex life? That would be like
- 27:47Speaker 3: so embarrassing. He was more.
- 27:50Speaker 2: Than happy to take part in it. Let's not forget
- 27:52Speaker 2: about that.
- 27:53Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 27:54Speaker 2: He threw himself under the bus.
- 27:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 27:57Speaker 3: This is candy is kinky. She had a line of
- 27:59Speaker 3: sex toys. So she, so she, I mean, she has
- 28:03Speaker 3: like a kind of a known sexual past, but I
- 28:06Speaker 3: don't think that.
- 28:07Speaker 2: But no one needs to know the details.
- 28:09Speaker 3: Well, they even had a sex room and they talked
- 28:10Speaker 3: about it on the show. So she was kind of,
- 28:12Speaker 3: leaking things out so maybe it's not so bad that
- 28:15Speaker 3: he said that it sounds like she was happy to
- 28:17Speaker 3: talk about some things and then suddenly she wasn't happy
- 28:20Speaker 3: to talk about this particular thing.
- 28:21Speaker 4: Well i just don't think that it's not i still
- 28:24Speaker 4: don't think it's okay until you get her permission to talk.
- 28:26Speaker 3: About it yeah i agree with you yeah yeah i
- 28:28Speaker 3: mean it is something that they it was.
- 28:30Speaker 2: One text away from asking her right.
- 28:32Speaker 3: Yeah yeah maybe it just slipped out i don't know
- 28:36Speaker 3: the fact that she was open maybe.
- 28:38Speaker 4: It was a guarantee that if he did the show
- 28:40Speaker 4: that he had to say something Yeah.
- 28:42Speaker 3: You have that whole theory that they're making them say
- 28:44Speaker 3: stuff and you could be like, they like a story.
- 28:47Speaker 4: No one can make you, but I think a lot
- 28:48Speaker 4: of people really want to be famous.
- 28:50Speaker 3: Yeah. And, and by getting a storyline on a show
- 28:54Speaker 3: makes you famous.
- 28:55Speaker 2: We all need to pay our bills, but there's a
- 28:57Speaker 2: way of doing it with morals.
- 28:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 28:59Speaker 3: With some class. I mean, I do feel like a
- 29:01Speaker 3: lot of them, if you get a storyline for one season,
- 29:04Speaker 3: it makes you a popular person on the show. It
- 29:07Speaker 3: gets you more.
- 29:08Speaker 4: Yes, but then you lose your personal relationships. And really,
- 29:10Speaker 4: at the end of the day, what is going to
- 29:12Speaker 4: make you happy?
- 29:13Speaker 3: Yeah, was it really even worth it?
- 29:14Speaker 4: I know.
- 29:15Speaker 3: Well, he's not going to be off the show, I assume.
- 29:17Speaker 3: And it's just going to be her because generally it's
- 29:19Speaker 3: Hal's wife, not Hal's husband.
- 29:21Speaker 4: Not yet. Yeah. Oh, well.
- 29:24Speaker 2: That sucks. Okay.
- 29:26Speaker 4: Jillian Anderson reveals she identifies as pansexual, reflects on relationships
- 29:31Speaker 4: with women.
- 29:33Speaker 3: I've never heard of pansexual. Never heard that term.
- 29:35Speaker 5: Okay, I'll inform you both. Pansexual is when gender... is not,
- 29:41Speaker 5: it does not matter gender identity. So that means trans people,
- 29:47Speaker 5: people who identify as male, people who identify as female,
- 29:53Speaker 5: like pansexual means that you're open to it all.
- 29:56Speaker 2: So you are fluid.
- 29:58Speaker 3: No, it's not fluid.
- 29:59Speaker 2: It's gender does not matter.
- 30:02Speaker 5: You're like in love with the person, their gender and
- 30:06Speaker 5: how they identify does not matter to you.
- 30:08Speaker 3: So you could be in love with a man who
- 30:11Speaker 3: identifies as a woman, right? And then a woman could be.
- 30:15Speaker 5: But then that person could end up changing in the
- 30:18Speaker 5: relationship and saying, I now identify as a man.
- 30:21Speaker 3: And you would be like, that's great.
- 30:22Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 30:23Speaker 3: I like you as a person. I love you as
- 30:24Speaker 3: a person, not as what you call yourself.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Oh, I guess you're right.
- 30:28Speaker 4: Okay.
- 30:28Speaker 2: That's interesting.
- 30:30Speaker 3: So she says in my younger years, I was in
- 30:32Speaker 3: a relationship. I was in relationships with women. She told
- 30:36Speaker 3: the Australian and then reflecting on her current phase of life.
- 30:38Speaker 3: She said she was 100% in a place where I
- 30:41Speaker 3: feel like we can take on the world. I think
- 30:44Speaker 3: that she's just speaking for all of us that we
- 30:47Speaker 3: are all like, it's, it's acceptable now. She says at
- 30:50Speaker 3: this particular moment, there's actually so much that's good about it.
- 30:54Speaker 3: So much agency, empowerment and comfortability with the self she shared.
- 30:59Speaker 3: It's all sounds like a lot of words that I
- 31:00Speaker 3: don't really understand. She's comfortable though in it. And I
- 31:05Speaker 3: think she feels like it's accepted. It's so much more
- 31:08Speaker 3: accepted now. And I think she's probably right. I don't
- 31:10Speaker 3: think anybody really cares about, who anybody's with anymore. I mean,
- 31:14Speaker 3: I agree. It's the person.
- 31:16Speaker 4: Yeah. I mean, like, look, I think that as long
- 31:18Speaker 4: as they don't care, right. As long as they don't
- 31:20Speaker 4: care what other people are saying, or as long as
- 31:22Speaker 4: they just, you know, blinders.
- 31:25Speaker 3: Be happy and find the person that makes you happy.
- 31:29Speaker 3: But it sounds like she got there in kind of
- 31:30Speaker 3: a weird way because she was the star of this show.
- 31:34Speaker 3: I don't know if you, um, if you watched it,
- 31:37Speaker 3: I did not. I've heard of it. She talks about,
- 31:40Speaker 3: she came out with a book and, um, This was
- 31:43Speaker 3: after she was in a show on Netflix called Sex Education,
- 31:47Speaker 3: where she was a therapist. And she came out with
- 31:50Speaker 3: a book talking about her sexuality that's called Want, a
- 31:54Speaker 3: collection of anonymous essays on women's sexual fantasies and stories.
- 31:59Speaker 3: And that was in 2024. And her follow-up, More, released,
- 32:03Speaker 3: I believe, today on September, oh, two days ago on
- 32:05Speaker 3: September 15th. So she kind of was in this role
- 32:09Speaker 3: on this Netflix all about sex thing. And she was
- 32:12Speaker 3: a therapist. And then she said that kind of brought
- 32:15Speaker 3: her to writing these two books. So she sounds like
- 32:18Speaker 3: she's very in touch with sexuality.
- 32:21Speaker 2: And she's a great businesswoman.
- 32:22Speaker 3: So her current relationship with the Crown creator, Peter Morgan,
- 32:26Speaker 3: from whom she briefly split in 2020, but later reconciled. Yeah,
- 32:30Speaker 3: the Crown. Yeah. Anderson said that he is the person
- 32:36Speaker 3: I consider my life partner. So again, she doesn't care
- 32:39Speaker 3: if he's male or female. He's a life partner. So
- 32:42Speaker 3: not husband and wife kind of thing.
- 32:44Speaker 4: Interesting.
- 32:45Speaker 3: She says he happens to be male, but I think
- 32:46Speaker 3: I would feel the same way if he were a woman.
- 32:48Speaker 3: He's the crown creator. He's obviously successful. He's kind of
- 32:51Speaker 3: in the business. I think they have things in common
- 32:54Speaker 3: and he's her life partner. So I think she's found
- 32:56Speaker 3: her person. It happens to be a man, but she
- 32:58Speaker 3: doesn't really care. She actually has, she has kids. She
- 33:01Speaker 3: has a daughter, Piper, and she has two sons that
- 33:06Speaker 3: she shares with Mark Griffith, Oscar and Felix. So she
- 33:10Speaker 3: has kids. So She's kind of done the whole family
- 33:12Speaker 3: mom thing. And now she's just, like you said, fluid,
- 33:15Speaker 3: but I guess it's not fluid. She's pansexual. She's just
- 33:18Speaker 3: doesn't care what their gender is. She just wants to
- 33:22Speaker 3: be in love.
- 33:23Speaker 4: Is this like just a question someone asks or is
- 33:25Speaker 4: this something that she's always talked about? I don't know.
- 33:28Speaker 3: Maybe it came as a result of the two books
- 33:30Speaker 3: that she just wrote. I don't know.
- 33:32Speaker 4: Probably.
- 33:32Speaker 3: She talks more about it because she's probably being interviewed
- 33:35Speaker 3: about these books, I'm guessing.
- 33:36Speaker 4: I know.
- 33:37Speaker 3: The books alone sound like it's called Want, a collection
- 33:41Speaker 3: of anonymous essays on women's sexual fantasies and stories. Like,
- 33:44Speaker 3: this is a lot.
- 33:45Speaker 4: I wonder if it was her patients' anonymous stories, like
- 33:48Speaker 4: when she was a therapist.
- 33:49Speaker 3: Well, she was a therapist on a show, so I'm
- 33:51Speaker 3: sure they were crazy.
- 33:53Speaker 2: She must be a real therapist, right? Or is this
- 33:54Speaker 2: a fake?
- 33:55Speaker 3: No, no, she's an actress. It's a Netflix show. Yeah,
- 33:58Speaker 3: she's an actress. So, yeah. So I think that those, yeah,
- 34:03Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 34:03Speaker 2: Was she on The Crown? Just kidding. I'm really ADHD
- 34:06Speaker 2: right now.
- 34:07Speaker 4: Sorry.
- 34:07Speaker 3: You're all over the place.
- 34:10Speaker 2: Was she the queen?
- 34:11Speaker 3: I'm kidding. She wouldn't be. It has a gender.
- 34:15Speaker 4: Right.
- 34:17Speaker 2: Good one, Joan. I miss you.
- 34:19Speaker 4: I'm trying.
- 34:20Speaker 3: I miss you too.
- 34:21Speaker 2: Okay.
- 34:22Speaker 4: Wow. This was very overwhelming in so many ways, but
- 34:24Speaker 4: also very.
- 34:27Speaker 3: This was a lot, wasn't it? We had threesomes. We
- 34:29Speaker 3: have pansexual. I mean, this was a lot.
- 34:33Speaker 2: There's a lot.
- 34:34Speaker 4: You know, life just doesn't revolve around us, you know?
- 34:36Speaker 3: A lot happened and we had drugs. We had threesomes.
- 34:40Speaker 3: We had pansexual. We had a lot going on today.
- 34:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 34:45Speaker 3: Lots of mormon wives yeah yeah a lot of utah happening.
- 34:49Speaker 2: Lots of utah don't get me started i.
- 34:52Speaker 4: Went to utah valley state college huh for a week.
- 34:55Speaker 3: For a week yeah i don't see you in utah
- 34:59Speaker 3: i just.
- 35:00Speaker 4: Don't check been there done that okay so a lot
