- 0:04Speaker 1: getting ready to come down Sorry.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Yeah, two more dates left, and we were really looking
- 0:09Speaker 2: forward to go to down Under. We've been down Under
- 0:13Speaker 2: somehow on the Southern Hemisphere already in South America, but
- 0:18Speaker 2: we've never been to the to the down Under touring. Yeah,
- 0:24Speaker 2: so it's going to be the first time for all
- 0:26Speaker 2: of us.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Nice, so you've been out individually, just be sales or
- 0:31Speaker 1: none of you have been here at all.
- 0:34Speaker 2: And actually we're super excited because this is our second
- 0:37Speaker 2: try that we needed to scheduled one or one and a
- 0:39Speaker 2: half years ago or something, and then we the classical
- 0:43Speaker 2: thing happened, like some weird promoter like disappearing with the
- 0:48Speaker 2: ticket money. Then we found the guys from Hardline actually
- 0:55Speaker 2: believing and trusting in us and doing these shows with
- 0:59Speaker 2: us and giving us the opportunity to do this tour
- 1:02Speaker 2: with super thankful, excited, and we're looking forward to summer
- 1:06Speaker 2: because we had like a real real cold winter here
- 1:10Speaker 2: we were in Canada. The lowest was minus twenty five degrees.
- 1:14Speaker 2: We saw snow for three weeks straight every day, which
- 1:21Speaker 2: is amazing. I love.
- 1:23Speaker 3: Yeah, I know, it's just cutting in and out. I'm
- 1:25Speaker 3: not sure what.
- 1:26Speaker 2: They go whatever, that's the internet problem.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Before we coming down to minus temperatures is not idea.
- 1:34Speaker 2: We had to get snow, snow, snow for three weeks
- 1:37Speaker 2: and minus temperatures. So we're really looking forward to some
- 1:40Speaker 2: late Australian summer.
- 1:41Speaker 3: But sure it's not too too hot. So you said
- 1:44Speaker 3: it was minus twenty.
- 1:45Speaker 4: Minus twenty five was the coldest we measured in Montreal
- 1:47Speaker 4: and Canada.
- 1:49Speaker 3: That's just a hard note for me. That's so that's cold.
- 1:55Speaker 1: My partners in Japan at the moment snowboarding and it's
- 1:58Speaker 1: like minus eleven, you know, the top for most days,
- 2:00Speaker 1: and there's terrible weather coming and I'm like, I don't
- 2:03Speaker 1: want to go with you. I'm happy to stay here
- 2:05Speaker 1: with myself. It's yeah, I don't do it all very well,
- 2:09Speaker 1: but yeah you'll you're loving it.
- 2:11Speaker 3: It's nice.
- 2:12Speaker 1: It's not not having to Some of us summers a
- 2:15Speaker 1: ridiculously hot, but so far it's been bearabook, So yeah,
- 2:20Speaker 1: we brat. So you guys doing to so the major cities,
- 2:23Speaker 1: so anywhere in between. What's your lineup look like for
- 2:26Speaker 1: down Under?
- 2:28Speaker 2: It's just work, work work, really, We like we it's
- 2:32Speaker 2: it's it's sad. Actually, we're going to go to Australia
- 2:34Speaker 2: and we're not going to see anything because we will
- 2:37Speaker 2: arrive the night before the first show. Then we play
- 2:39Speaker 2: a show, we fly every day to the next show,
- 2:41Speaker 2: and then we directly fly back because it's just in
- 2:44Speaker 2: the middle of the US tour and the European tour
- 2:46Speaker 2: and we need a little time at home. So I
- 2:49Speaker 2: really hope that next time we come back we have
- 2:53Speaker 2: a it's gonna happen. It's a little more relaxed. I
- 2:56Speaker 2: was scheduled for us so we can actually spend three
- 2:59Speaker 2: or four days somewhere.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure, a lot of artists like to have
- 3:03Speaker 1: a bit of time they come down. I need to
- 3:05Speaker 1: see the under drop bears and all the other crazy
- 3:07Speaker 1: things that.
- 3:08Speaker 3: Will kill you. Can you come out here?
- 3:12Speaker 1: The sharks, Well, that's what that's not in an urban myth,
- 3:15Speaker 1: that there's sharks are a real thing.
- 3:16Speaker 3: And I'll leave on the coast in it. And I
- 3:19Speaker 3: love the beach. I've going up at the beach and
- 3:20Speaker 3: it's still scares.
- 3:21Speaker 4: Me up traveling that it'll be such a long journey
- 3:26Speaker 4: to get there. So I can understand that once you
- 3:28Speaker 4: might as well use the time, but.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Unfortunately, Yeah, yeah, so you'll be so yeah, how long
- 3:33Speaker 1: does it take to get so straight from Jeans It's
- 3:35Speaker 1: a few hours, I know.
- 3:36Speaker 3: To get to the UK, it's like twenty six hours.
- 3:40Speaker 4: You've got a bit of a waiting time. That's one airport.
- 3:43Speaker 1: I think in Singapore we think a poor Dubai usually
- 3:46Speaker 1: is the layover twenty.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Eight hours of travel time.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Yeah, so yeah, it's a lot you've got to you're
- 3:53Speaker 1: going to commit to that, It's yeah, it's but as
- 3:56Speaker 1: I said, you're like, you'll no doubt enjoy it when
- 3:58Speaker 1: you're here. And I'm sure you know, even though you'll
- 4:00Speaker 1: be working you to get to enjoy their experience. They're
- 4:03Speaker 1: down under people and what we're all about it.
- 4:06Speaker 3: So yeah, yeah.
- 4:09Speaker 2: To the audience because you know, the audience is different everywhere.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, and I couldn't tell you if I like
- 4:18Speaker 2: something more or less or no, it's it's just different.
- 4:20Speaker 1: So yeah, and every show will be different, so you know,
- 4:23Speaker 1: depending a way around and as well, and even the
- 4:26Speaker 1: cities you know here, they're definitely ensure you've got a
- 4:29Speaker 1: different crowd wherever you go, and you've got have you
- 4:32Speaker 1: got a good fan base in Australia that you know
- 4:34Speaker 1: so far.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Obviously we do otherwise.
- 4:36Speaker 4: Yeah, nice to get to meet them people in person
- 4:41Speaker 4: because obviously you've never been there, so yeah, privileged to
- 4:45Speaker 4: go somewhere so far away and have people know your music.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Yeah, so how long have you guys been doing Lend
- 4:53Speaker 1: of the Loss for You've been together as a.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Group seventeen years now already.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Wow, that's a that's a very high accepts. No, now,
- 5:01Speaker 1: you guys, it's almost seasoned veterans. So so yeah, it's today.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Look you guys, a look that old like something news
- 5:08Speaker 1: this long time.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Yeah, well I'm I'm twenty one and I started the
- 5:13Speaker 2: band when I when I was four years old, So.
- 5:17Speaker 1: I still don't want I'm twenty one moms forever. It's
- 5:22Speaker 1: some it's only your only as old as your mind
- 5:25Speaker 1: thinks it is anyway. Yeah, so where are you guys
- 5:28Speaker 1: are from?
- 5:28Speaker 3: So? I notice a few different accents that you've got.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Sorry, you're from the UK in Germany and deals that
- 5:35Speaker 1: a US accent that I did detect.
- 5:39Speaker 2: No, we all come. We all come from Germany. But
- 5:42Speaker 2: Benji here As is half British. He grew up in Germany.
- 5:46Speaker 2: But bilingual still the.
- 5:52Speaker 4: English?
- 5:52Speaker 1: Yes, yes, he still said to me it's an unshown
- 5:55Speaker 1: does you still sound very English?
- 5:57Speaker 3: So that's back.
- 5:59Speaker 2: But I mean, if you wanted more obvious, I can
- 6:01Speaker 2: still put on a more obvious German. Excellent for you.
- 6:05Speaker 4: That makes it a bit easier to Tom.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Now you can tell from the there's no problem. So
- 6:11Speaker 2: also your listeners of your channel. No, we come from Germany. Yeah,
- 6:18Speaker 2: I don't.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Know any German to even hit back with something like that,
- 6:20Speaker 1: And if I did it, we'll probably be very inappropriate
- 6:23Speaker 1: and I get canceled.
- 6:26Speaker 4: We like in appropriate?
- 6:31Speaker 1: Oh dear, I mean shows you doing when you come
- 6:33Speaker 1: down under? It is it just the major cities that you've.
- 6:35Speaker 3: Bought or.
- 6:39Speaker 4: In Brisbane, second Melbourne, Sydney and then finished Adlaide?
- 6:43Speaker 1: Oh nice, nice, yeah, excellent, that's that's that's kind of
- 6:47Speaker 1: half of they haven't done Tazzy and then w A,
- 6:50Speaker 1: which is may be another country so far away.
- 6:52Speaker 2: I don't know what you're just said, but never been
- 6:55Speaker 2: to Australia. So what w A is or test okay
- 7:01Speaker 2: if you say so, Yeah, w A.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Is Western Australia and Tasma Tazzy is Tasmania.
- 7:07Speaker 1: So that's out a little bit of land that was
- 7:09Speaker 1: forgotten on the bottom that we really don't think.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Much and is so far away it may well be
- 7:16Speaker 3: in another country because and.
- 7:17Speaker 2: It's a huge country. We fly every day from show
- 7:21Speaker 2: to show, so yeah.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that makes bus Yeah yeah, there's no well,
- 7:27Speaker 1: I mean bands do do it.
- 7:28Speaker 3: It's a long drive. It's as ours and it's not.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Yeah, doing the plane is much more viable and with
- 7:34Speaker 1: all your gear and stuff. Yeah, especially when you're stopping
- 7:37Speaker 1: from one city to the next.
- 7:38Speaker 3: It's you, guys will you probably.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Won't feel like you will travel, even though you would
- 7:43Speaker 1: have traveled thousands of cormeters for the time you finished up.
- 7:46Speaker 3: It's yeah.
- 7:47Speaker 1: So you've got plans for any obviously you want to
- 7:50Speaker 1: come back wholly new releases coming out, new music that's
- 7:54Speaker 1: coming up that your fans.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Can look forward to.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Sorry, what was the question you he.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Got plans to come back to Australia touring.
- 8:02Speaker 1: I was just asking, yeah, yeah, and whether you have
- 8:05Speaker 1: any new music for your fans that they can look
- 8:07Speaker 1: forward to when when you guys come out.
- 8:11Speaker 4: So we've got our current music album, which is cool.
- 8:16Speaker 4: We've got a trilogy coming out to a volume one
- 8:19Speaker 4: and two have already been released and volume three is
- 8:21Speaker 4: coming in nice so we're kind of in the middle
- 8:25Speaker 4: of the release for the third part. So the first
- 8:29Speaker 4: two singles already out, so hopefully be looking forward to
- 8:33Speaker 4: when we come over. Obviously we can't only play the
- 8:37Speaker 4: new stuff. We've got to play some some old songs
- 8:38Speaker 4: and some class.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:39Speaker 4: Yeah, you kind of want to represent everything, not not
- 8:43Speaker 4: only the new stuff.
- 8:44Speaker 1: But you guys are known for making a bit of
- 8:46Speaker 1: an impact on the stage when you come out and
- 8:48Speaker 1: do your thing.
- 8:50Speaker 2: We're known for extremely boring shows. There's no effort at all,
- 8:56Speaker 2: no effort, and everybody always very disappointed. Do wey we're
- 9:04Speaker 2: doing this for so long because people always come back
- 9:08Speaker 2: like hoping like Okay, maybe this time it's going to
- 9:11Speaker 2: be cool.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Yeah, still waiting for the hard Yeah, I'm sure your
- 9:17Speaker 1: friends will absolutely love what they see when you guys have.
- 9:20Speaker 3: Come out and it was with your the audience.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Do you find that the younger people the judicially og
- 9:26Speaker 1: original fan base there or has it been sorry trendsit
- 9:30Speaker 1: and changed over the time.
- 9:32Speaker 4: Well, we wouldn't know for the Australian audience because we've been.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Never in general. Yeah, feeling it has.
- 9:40Speaker 4: Changed over the years, especially since we've had so many
- 9:45Speaker 4: different musical styles over the history, and there were the
- 9:49Speaker 4: supporters with our maiden it was the Eurovision Song Contest
- 9:52Speaker 4: in twenty twenty three.
- 9:54Speaker 2: So so many different scenes.
- 9:56Speaker 4: Actually, yeah, nowadays, which is really beautiful is that there's
- 10:00Speaker 4: people from everywhere, every age group, every genre, every culture
- 10:05Speaker 4: where they want to think it's it's yeah, a big
- 10:09Speaker 4: bunch of people from everywhere.
- 10:10Speaker 2: It's beautiful. And there's also like every year there's new
- 10:14Speaker 2: very young fans, so we're kind of growing up with
- 10:18Speaker 2: our older fans, but there's also like the young fan
- 10:21Speaker 2: base is always like, uh yeah, it keeps coming somehow.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Yeah, and that's that's that's refreshing.
- 10:27Speaker 4: It.
- 10:27Speaker 3: I hear a lot about its say the same thing.
- 10:29Speaker 1: That's they're surprised that they're young fans, that they they
- 10:32Speaker 1: see some of the show and that they're locked in
- 10:34Speaker 1: and they really they know all the all detract some
- 10:36Speaker 1: of the words, and it's it's nice.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Obviously we're still cool enough for TikTok. So we get.
- 10:43Speaker 3: You found yourself on a random playlist somewhere, have you.
- 10:46Speaker 4: Yeah, we don't understand it, but we try to.
- 10:50Speaker 3: You're not alone. There's a lot of sorry, it's I.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Think our TikTok actually says like in the description band
- 10:56Speaker 2: from Germany, to old for TikTok or something, but already.
- 11:02Speaker 3: Too old for TikTok. I think twenty one, you know, really.
- 11:07Speaker 2: To old for TikTok. TikTok is for like eleven to thirteen.
- 11:11Speaker 1: I'm too young, too young to have a Facebook gap?
- 11:18Speaker 1: Is that that we We had some controversy with the
- 11:20Speaker 1: age limit of how old.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Yeah, that we think it was.
- 11:27Speaker 2: I started social media and music on my Space back then.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, there was a gap for me. I didn't
- 11:33Speaker 1: have Facebook until two thousand and nine. In my Space,
- 11:36Speaker 1: I was too busy raising babies. I didn't have time
- 11:38Speaker 1: for that.
- 11:40Speaker 3: I do remember MSN Messenger though I had some.
- 11:45Speaker 2: You're right back.
- 11:47Speaker 3: I'm just like to wrap it up.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Look, thank you so much for coming on and having
- 11:51Speaker 1: a shout with us and Heavy and we look forward
- 11:53Speaker 1: to seeing you guys when to come out? So is
- 11:56Speaker 1: much is it? But your first show is all a
- 11:58Speaker 1: fat nineteenth February is Yeah? So you guys are becoming outwaries, yes,
- 12:03Speaker 1: very soon. Yeah, Well we'll enjoy and hopefully you aren't
- 12:08Speaker 1: don't get too lost in the land out here because
- 12:11Speaker 1: it is quite part in the partner.
- 12:12Speaker 3: It's quite a large left, but yeah, we look forward
- 12:15Speaker 3: to having you out and thanks for coming and having
- 12:17Speaker 3: a chat.
