- 0:29Speaker 2: It is time believe your worries outside and laugh with
- 0:33Speaker 2: us inside the Treehouse. I'm Danilmley along with Trey Trendholm,
- 0:37Speaker 2: Raz Sharm and Jerry Caldwell. Today this is episode four
- 0:43Speaker 2: hundred of The Treehouse Show podcast. Thank you for any
- 0:47Speaker 2: of you that have ever spent any amount of time listening,
- 0:50Speaker 2: watching and subscribing, well you appreciate it. In order to
- 0:53Speaker 2: celebrate our four hundredth episode, I think it's only fitting
- 0:58Speaker 2: that a bunch of monkeys escaped. I appreciate the celebration
- 1:04Speaker 2: on I fifty nine in Mississippi that these monkeys decided
- 1:09Speaker 2: to start. So let's capitalize on that. Now aggressive lab
- 1:14Speaker 2: monkeys carrying hepatitis, ce, herpes, and COVID escaped after a
- 1:20Speaker 2: crash in Mississippi. WHOA, I bet everyone's worried about COVID. Now,
- 1:27Speaker 2: I guarantee you had the whole COVID lockdown. All the
- 1:31Speaker 2: shenanigans of twenty twenty twenty twenty one and carrying over
- 1:34Speaker 2: into twenty twenty two started with this inciting incident of
- 1:39Speaker 2: a bunch of infected monkeys running loose on a Mississippi highway.
- 1:43Speaker 2: We all would have taken being locked down a lot
- 1:45Speaker 2: more easily.
- 1:48Speaker 3: I think COVID is how they got most of their
- 1:49Speaker 3: STDs lockdown with nothing to do, and their monkeys they
- 1:57Speaker 3: started off just regular monkeys. Yeah.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Look, this story is terrifying enough on its own right,
- 2:05Speaker 2: But when I read further and saw that this group
- 2:09Speaker 2: of infected monkeys was on the way to Florida, I thought,
- 2:14Speaker 2: why are we tempting fate to this degree? I feel
- 2:19Speaker 2: like that's too much for one planet to handle. Maybe
- 2:23Speaker 2: that's why the truck crashed before it even got to Florida,
- 2:25Speaker 2: because someone along the lines realized, we can't allow this
- 2:29Speaker 2: group of infected monkeys to make it to Florida, because
- 2:32Speaker 2: once they get into Florida waters, God only knows what
- 2:35Speaker 2: will happen in that state.
- 2:36Speaker 4: Sounds like the setup to an episode of Black Mirror,
- 2:38Speaker 4: doesn't it.
- 2:41Speaker 3: It really does.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Add some dystopian stuff right there.
- 2:46Speaker 5: I don't get that reference, so I'll just I don't either.
- 2:49Speaker 2: I'll say it, it's like the twenty first century version
- 2:52Speaker 2: of Twilight Zone.
- 2:53Speaker 4: If you guys have not seen Black Mirror, if you
- 2:56Speaker 4: can make it through the first episode of the first season,
- 2:59Speaker 4: your gold.
- 3:00Speaker 3: I hate when people say that. That tells me that episode.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Shit, No it's not, but it's just that intense. Yes,
- 3:11Speaker 2: is it? A group of rhesus macock monkeys infected with
- 3:14Speaker 2: three different diseases running around loose on a highway in Mississippi.
- 3:19Speaker 2: I mean, Gary, I think.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Going back to your original point, you can't. Can you
- 3:27Speaker 1: change destiny because I think all infected monkeys are eventually
- 3:31Speaker 1: up in Florida.
- 3:32Speaker 5: I mean, I think that's the destination for all things.
- 3:35Speaker 2: I think when they argue that they all start there,
- 3:38Speaker 2: did they.
- 3:39Speaker 5: Start I mean chicken Egg?
- 3:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean maybe they were going back for a
- 3:44Speaker 3: brief hepatitis city reunion in spring break for them, Yeah,
- 3:48Speaker 3: that's I don't know when they're spring I don't know
- 3:51Speaker 3: when spring is for them. But I think STDs are perfect.
- 3:54Speaker 2: From Cox going back to yeah, no, you're absolutely right.
- 3:58Speaker 2: It just gives us, It gives us an excuse to
- 4:00Speaker 2: say herpes. Mccock, maccock's got herpes, and Trey you may
- 4:07Speaker 2: be onto something. Maybe maybe they were on their way
- 4:10Speaker 2: to Florida for spring break and they partied so hard
- 4:13Speaker 2: on the road trip that they tumped over somewhere in Mississippi.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Yeah, you know your STDs are bad. When Florida doesn't want.
- 4:22Speaker 1: You many many of you have too many many and
- 4:27Speaker 1: mccock has no self control.
- 4:31Speaker 3: You never know how strong a mccock is.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Until it's cut loose in Mississippi. Exclaims why Mississippi is burning?
- 4:50Speaker 2: And that's yeah, that's the sequel to the movie Mississippi Burning.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Mississippi Burning, would a pease so to recap here. A
- 5:00Speaker 2: truck carrying monkeys with hepatitis, C, herpes, and COVID crashed
- 5:06Speaker 2: in Jasper County, Mississippi. Several monkeys were destroyed, but according
- 5:12Speaker 2: to this seventeen hours ago, one remains on the loose
- 5:16Speaker 2: and is considered dangerous. You don't say. Tulane University will
- 5:20Speaker 2: send a team to recover the remaining animals. I for
- 5:24Speaker 2: one cannot wait for this Disney movie. I think the
- 5:27Speaker 2: songs themselves will win awards and it'll be a triumph
- 5:33Speaker 2: for children around the world.
- 5:37Speaker 5: It's it's a funny.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Who do they send the university outside of New Orleans.
- 5:48Speaker 3: Yeah, they're immune to all of those exactly.
- 5:57Speaker 2: New Orleans.
- 5:58Speaker 5: Yeah, cigarette, no gloves going. Yeah we got this.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Just barefoot.
- 6:05Speaker 2: People from certain parts of Louisiana take born this way
- 6:09Speaker 2: to a whole new level.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Mhm.
- 6:13Speaker 2: But yeah. Needless to say, it's an eye catching headline
- 6:16Speaker 2: when you see aggressive lab monkeys carrying Hepsie, herpes and
- 6:19Speaker 2: COVID escape after a crash on a Mississippi highway. I
- 6:23Speaker 2: for one was glad that look. I was already glad.
- 6:27Speaker 2: I've never lived in Mississippi. I've driven through it a
- 6:31Speaker 2: couple of times, and I will say some interesting things
- 6:37Speaker 2: that I've seen on that road or on those road
- 6:39Speaker 2: trips have been driving through Mississippi. Like I saw chunks
- 6:44Speaker 2: of a guy because he had gotten hit by a
- 6:46Speaker 2: car on the highway, so that the road was closed
- 6:49Speaker 2: and we had a D tour. The weird thing was
- 6:52Speaker 2: Mississippi Highway Patrol started the D tour really close to
- 6:59Speaker 2: the crash site, so much so that I'm pretty sure
- 7:01Speaker 2: I saw like half of the guy's face on the
- 7:03Speaker 2: road as I detoured off the highway. And side note,
- 7:09Speaker 2: good news, bad news. The best breakfast bagel sandwich I've
- 7:12Speaker 2: ever had in my life is in Mississippi.
- 7:16Speaker 3: Have you had one in New York?
- 7:19Speaker 2: No, I'm just saying in my life. I'm not saying
- 7:21Speaker 2: I've been everywhere and had them all. I'm just saying,
- 7:23Speaker 2: of the ones I have enjoyed and the ones I
- 7:26Speaker 2: have consumed, the best was in Hattiesburg.
- 7:30Speaker 3: And do you do you know the name of the place?
- 7:31Speaker 3: In case I've ever driving or being captured in Mississippi.
- 7:37Speaker 2: If you find yourself in Mississippi a little angry, let
- 7:43Speaker 2: me know if you have any plans to go in
- 7:46Speaker 2: or around Mississippi, and I'll look up the name. I
- 7:48Speaker 2: can never remember the name. I've only been there twice,
- 7:51Speaker 2: but it was so good the first time that the
- 7:53Speaker 2: second time we made the road trip from Dallas to Florida,
- 7:56Speaker 2: we made sure to go the same way and stop
- 7:58Speaker 2: and get that same sandwich. So I know where it is.
- 8:01Speaker 2: I just can't remember the name of it, but I
- 8:03Speaker 2: can let.
- 8:03Speaker 3: You know, if you need okay, I'll let you know. Yeah,
- 8:06Speaker 3: but I do think that the reason they were going
- 8:09Speaker 3: to the truck was going to Florida. Is that just
- 8:14Speaker 3: sounds like when you said it's COVID PPSI and herpes.
- 8:19Speaker 3: To me, that just sounds like a Tampa nursing home.
- 8:24Speaker 3: It's already there. Send them a cocks.
- 8:29Speaker 4: Maybe have the mingled right, wind out with something like
- 8:35Speaker 4: COVID hepa herpes or.
- 8:38Speaker 2: It's the new variant, the COVID FU variant or f
- 8:45Speaker 2: all probably.
- 8:49Speaker 3: But there's one monkey left now right.
- 8:51Speaker 2: According to the most recent report that I've seen, the
- 8:54Speaker 2: team from Tulane is searching for the lone marauding MACCOQ
- 9:00Speaker 2: in Mississippi.
- 9:02Speaker 3: That's just I know that I know Hollywood and I
- 9:05Speaker 3: know how it works. This is the this is the
- 9:07Speaker 3: reboot of Outbreak.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 9:09Speaker 3: That's what this is gonna be for sure.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Yeah. And that's the thing, like, if Hollywood's gonna do
- 9:13Speaker 2: a reboot, you can't just completely copy the original. You
- 9:17Speaker 2: have to amp it up a little bit for modern audiences.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Because back in the day Outbrac started with just it
- 9:23Speaker 2: was like a monkey bite, wasn't it. Yeah, Now, that's
- 9:28Speaker 2: not scary enough. Now it has to be a triple
- 9:32Speaker 2: infected monkey. Yeah, with a crash as opposed to you know,
- 9:37Speaker 2: like uh say someone on spring break taking those beach
- 9:41Speaker 2: photos with the monkey and it just gets and just
- 9:44Speaker 2: bites their ear. No, instead, this is way scary.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Yeah. It starts with the opening sequences. That Yeah, that's
- 9:50Speaker 3: the the opening sequence starts with the truck wrecking and
- 9:54Speaker 3: you see all them like what you think is all
- 9:55Speaker 3: the monkeys destroyed?
- 9:57Speaker 4: And then the one John Rambo of all the monkeys
- 9:59Speaker 4: is the one that's out there.
- 10:03Speaker 3: He's already got diseases. Don't make him stupid on.
- 10:06Speaker 5: Top of it.
- 10:07Speaker 2: No, that's actually brilliant because it could take the original
- 10:10Speaker 2: Rambow where he's hiding in mud, except now it's it's
- 10:15Speaker 2: a Reesius Macoque infected monkey, but still at the head zone,
- 10:18Speaker 2: wrapped around like he's left the he's left the testing facility,
- 10:23Speaker 2: but he's never left it behind.
- 10:30Speaker 3: They drew first blood, not meat.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Or if you did an animated version, it would just
- 10:37Speaker 1: be quagmire.
- 10:41Speaker 6: You're listening to the tree House. Visit us online at
- 10:56Speaker 6: Treehouse on Air dot com.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Time now to talk to Daniel Cook from Cook DFW
- 11:03Speaker 2: Roofing and Restoration eight three three Cook DFW to get
- 11:07Speaker 2: your free roof inspection scheduled. And today, Daniel, I want
- 11:11Speaker 2: to talk about the restoration side of your business. You
- 11:15Speaker 2: don't just do roofs. You do all sorts of construction
- 11:18Speaker 2: projects for people. I hate the term one stop shop
- 11:22Speaker 2: because I just hate the term. But you really are
- 11:25Speaker 2: a phone number someone should have if they own a home,
- 11:27Speaker 2: if there's anything they want done with the home, remodeling, construction,
- 11:31Speaker 2: all these things, because you can make some dreams come
- 11:33Speaker 2: true in addition to just fixing some stuff.
- 11:35Speaker 7: Yeah, Dan, we take a lot of pride in what
- 11:37Speaker 7: we do and we have the fortunate way of handling
- 11:41Speaker 7: almost anything around your home. There are some things that
- 11:43Speaker 7: we won't dabble in foundation those are specialized trades. The
- 11:47Speaker 7: guys have to have a lot of special tools. We
- 11:50Speaker 7: do know some foundation companies that we trust, and so
- 11:54Speaker 7: we either refer good people to you if you need
- 11:58Speaker 7: help with certain items, able to do majority of it ourselves,
- 12:01Speaker 7: and so outdoor patios we just where it came over
- 12:04Speaker 7: for promotion. We got two under construction right now. Bathroom remodels.
- 12:09Speaker 7: We just finished a huge bathroom remodel in Carleton. Overall,
- 12:13Speaker 7: you know, reenhancements of your property as far as paint
- 12:17Speaker 7: wall changes out, LVLS, kitchen remodel. I mean, you name it,
- 12:25Speaker 7: We're going to tell you how to do it. And so, yeah,
- 12:27Speaker 7: just come out. We can go over the plans with you,
- 12:29Speaker 7: some ideas that you have, tell you how realistic they are,
- 12:32Speaker 7: give you a ballpark estimate of what you're looking for,
- 12:34Speaker 7: because I think a lot of people are shocked at
- 12:36Speaker 7: when they find out how much stuff costs sometimes, and
- 12:38Speaker 7: so that's that's what we're here for.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Yeah, sometimes watching house Hunters and getting ideas and seeing
- 12:44Speaker 2: the reality of those things in your home might be
- 12:47Speaker 2: very different. That's why you got to have a professional
- 12:50Speaker 2: come out and walk you through it. That's what Daniel
- 12:52Speaker 2: and his team do every single day. They can do
- 12:54Speaker 2: it for you. Eight three three Cook DFW or that
- 12:57Speaker 2: website cookdfw dot com.
- 13:11Speaker 8: You're in the Treehouse.
- 13:13Speaker 9: Visit us online at Treehouse on air dot com.
- 13:19Speaker 2: This segment of the Treehouse is brought to you by
- 13:21Speaker 2: Cookdfwroofing and Restoration. To get your free roof inspection called
- 13:24Speaker 2: Daniel today A three three Cook DFW. That's a three
- 13:28Speaker 2: to three. Cook DFW catch a small problem before it
- 13:32Speaker 2: becomes a major one and get that free roof inspection.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Get more info on their website cook dfw dot com. Uh,
- 13:42Speaker 2: what the f is dry begging? That's what I thought
- 13:46Speaker 2: when I saw the headline earlier today, and I'm going
- 13:49Speaker 2: to share it with you now, but before I do,
- 13:52Speaker 2: I'm curious what you think dry begging is.
- 13:57Speaker 3: I called it high school?
- 13:59Speaker 8: Thank you?
- 14:01Speaker 5: What happens after dry humping?
- 14:05Speaker 2: I thought that was going to be what happens before
- 14:07Speaker 2: the dry humping. First, it's the dry begging, then the
- 14:13Speaker 2: dry humping, and if you're lucky, somewhat humping, and then
- 14:17Speaker 2: some very moist crying. I did all that by myself.
- 14:22Speaker 2: So yeah, that was just a night with the mattress
- 14:29Speaker 2: software here was wild. But it can't hold a candle
- 14:34Speaker 2: to freshman year for the record high school? Anyway? What
- 14:40Speaker 2: the f is dry begging? So we talk about this
- 14:44Speaker 2: a lot, all these new terms that get thrown around
- 14:47Speaker 2: for things that are not new, just a new term
- 14:50Speaker 2: for you know, what to call something this I don't
- 14:54Speaker 2: think I've heard of before on either front. Dry begging
- 14:57Speaker 2: is a form of emotional manipulation that sounds all too familiar.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Have you ever frustratingly, have you ever frustratingly said frustratingly?
- 15:08Speaker 2: Have you ever frustratingly mumbled to your partner that it
- 15:11Speaker 2: must be nice to have a partner who walks the
- 15:13Speaker 2: dog in hopes of them walking the dog more often?
- 15:16Speaker 2: Or have you ever sighed that you'll just do the
- 15:19Speaker 2: errands alone even though you don't want to. Turns out
- 15:22Speaker 2: you may be dry begging. This is a tool that
- 15:25Speaker 2: people use in relationships of all sorts to get their
- 15:28Speaker 2: needs met. According to a therapist and owner of Boulder
- 15:32Speaker 2: Therapy and Wellness in Colorado, dry begging is when someone
- 15:35Speaker 2: indirectly asks for something. There's a need there that they're
- 15:38Speaker 2: not stating it clearly. This is sound familiar in relationships past.
- 15:45Speaker 5: Those are just passive, passive aggressive types stuff.
- 15:49Speaker 2: So I'm yeah. So initially I was like, is this
- 15:51Speaker 2: a new thing with a new term or is this
- 15:53Speaker 2: just a new term for something we already know? Trey,
- 15:56Speaker 2: I think you're right, this is something we already know.
- 15:58Speaker 2: It's just being passive aggressive, like it must be nice
- 16:02Speaker 2: to insert whatever it is here. She's obviously mad that
- 16:05Speaker 2: you get to do that. Mm, it's like, yes, it
- 16:08Speaker 2: is nice. I get to do this. You know, I
- 16:10Speaker 2: made the choice to do it.
- 16:11Speaker 5: That's why.
- 16:12Speaker 2: That's why I chose to do it. Because I like
- 16:13Speaker 2: it and it is nice. That's why I do it.
- 16:15Speaker 3: My axe was passive aggressive towards me. I wasn't towards
- 16:19Speaker 3: her because I know she's lazy, so that would be
- 16:23Speaker 3: an exercise and futility, like I'm not going to be
- 16:26Speaker 3: passive aggressive. Being passive aggressive to somebody that's asleep is creepy.
- 16:31Speaker 2: So I just must be nice to be sleeping. Yes,
- 16:34Speaker 2: it is shut up.
- 16:36Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
- 16:37Speaker 2: So your ex would be passive aggressive to you in
- 16:40Speaker 2: your sleep?
- 16:41Speaker 3: No, No, she was.
- 16:41Speaker 6: She was.
- 16:42Speaker 3: She's lazy, so she comes home and she goes like
- 16:45Speaker 3: she gets on the couch and goes to sleep after
- 16:48Speaker 3: a long day at work or whatever. And I know
- 16:51Speaker 3: she's busy. I know she does her thing, but she
- 16:53Speaker 3: would be passive aggressive towards like the same things, like oh,
- 16:56Speaker 3: it must have been nice to be home all day today,
- 16:59Speaker 3: and I'm like, yeah, I'm a comic also be gone
- 17:02Speaker 3: for the next week on the road. But I was
- 17:06Speaker 3: never that way back to her because someone wasn't awake,
- 17:10Speaker 3: So hard to do that.
- 17:13Speaker 2: It is fascinating when someone is taking digs at your
- 17:18Speaker 2: choices when in reality they're mad at themselves. Because in
- 17:24Speaker 2: my forty five years, there are a lot of things
- 17:26Speaker 2: I have learned over the years. One of the things
- 17:29Speaker 2: I've learned in recent years is people really hate it
- 17:33Speaker 2: when you hold a mirror up to them because most
- 17:38Speaker 2: of the time they don't like what they see and
- 17:41Speaker 2: they don't like being called out on it. I've seen
- 17:43Speaker 2: this in all walks of life. I've seen this in
- 17:46Speaker 2: personal relationships, I've seen it in professional relationships. I've seen
- 17:50Speaker 2: this with elected officials. I've seen this with not elect everywhere.
- 17:54Speaker 2: If someone is behaving poorly, they absolutely hate being called
- 17:58Speaker 2: out on or a mirror being held up showing them them.
- 18:03Speaker 3: Oh man, Yeah, I've always said it, I mean, and
- 18:06Speaker 3: I've said it out loud to people, and I've only
- 18:07Speaker 3: dealt with this, I guess customer service wise, or like
- 18:10Speaker 3: you know, at a restaurant or you know, bar or whatever.
- 18:13Speaker 3: I didn't pick your job. So if you don't like it,
- 18:16Speaker 3: leave because you're making this miserable for everybody.
- 18:18Speaker 2: Yeah, and that whole.
- 18:20Speaker 3: Passive aggressive thing again comes into play where it's like, well,
- 18:22Speaker 3: my bills. Must be nice that you can be on
- 18:23Speaker 3: the other side of the bar. I'm like, okay, I
- 18:26Speaker 3: just want to leave now. I don't like you. I'll
- 18:29Speaker 3: find another dive bar to go to. It's Dallas. It's
- 18:31Speaker 3: not that hard.
- 18:32Speaker 2: It's nice not to make any tips tonight. So about
- 18:36Speaker 2: a minute ago, I would have loved to have put
- 18:37Speaker 2: a mirror up to Trey's eyes, because it's not often
- 18:40Speaker 2: that tray you had your birder eyes going there for
- 18:42Speaker 2: a second.
- 18:44Speaker 5: Yeah, that's uh.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Is it hitting a little too close to home?
- 18:49Speaker 5: Yeah, you know somewhat.
- 18:53Speaker 1: When h I just I don't my ex was just
- 18:56Speaker 1: a bit uh and scene.
- 19:05Speaker 2: I didn't have to hold the mirror up to her.
- 19:07Speaker 2: I just said, you're a bit to rnt off.
- 19:13Speaker 5: Yeah, that's a.
- 19:17Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 19:17Speaker 1: She could be like passive aggressive like that and about things,
- 19:23Speaker 1: you know, especially during COVID that you know, when she's
- 19:29Speaker 1: at home not working, and you know, and for a
- 19:33Speaker 1: while I understood, you know, the kids were out of school,
- 19:36Speaker 1: that more than a full time job.
- 19:40Speaker 5: But when the kids went back to school.
- 19:44Speaker 2: You need a full time job, you need a hobby.
- 19:50Speaker 5: That's what A few times, you know, like it must
- 19:52Speaker 5: be nice to sit at home all day.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Yeah, so so you yourself have been Okay, that makes sense.
- 20:01Speaker 1: That's the one time I can really think of where
- 20:03Speaker 1: I was absolutely you know, I was like I forgot
- 20:08Speaker 1: what I you know, I was like, well, it must
- 20:10Speaker 1: be nice to sit at home all day and watch TV.
- 20:12Speaker 5: Well I can't. Yeah, no, they're they're back in school.
- 20:15Speaker 5: You can. Yeah.
- 20:18Speaker 2: It's it's kind of like, so you were being kind
- 20:21Speaker 2: of a dick, not a full dick, just like half
- 20:23Speaker 2: a dick because you are ultimately right, Yeah.
- 20:28Speaker 1: I I uh, you know, when all of a sudden
- 20:30Speaker 1: you're supporting a family and uh not really what you signed.
- 20:34Speaker 5: Up for and no gratitude for it. Did Yeah, I
- 20:39Speaker 5: was a complete dick.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Then you're gonna then you're gonna get the big dick.
- 20:45Speaker 2: There's gonna be nothing passive aggressive about it. So back
- 20:50Speaker 2: to dry begging. Instead of making a straightforward request or
- 20:54Speaker 2: voicing a direct want, someone who is dry begging hints
- 20:58Speaker 2: at a need or makes a vague complaint. So instead
- 21:02Speaker 2: of stating I wish we spent more time together, someone
- 21:04Speaker 2: who's dry begging might say, oh, I guess I'll just
- 21:07Speaker 2: stay home with the cat. Jerry, have you been on
- 21:12Speaker 2: the receiving or giving of dry begging.
- 21:17Speaker 4: I've been on the receiving end of it a little bit.
- 21:21Speaker 4: What did they say, must be nice to Oh it
- 21:27Speaker 4: must be nice to sit in front of this website
- 21:28Speaker 4: all day? Or that's back when I was building and
- 21:32Speaker 4: running a website.
- 21:35Speaker 2: I'm working I was. I mean, look at it this way.
- 21:39Speaker 2: It's the ultimate thing, as if someone being mad at
- 21:44Speaker 2: you for your chosen occupation. Let's say, for example, you're
- 21:49Speaker 2: a movie critic, an entertainment writer, or and this is
- 21:53Speaker 2: my personal favorite, along the same lines, you're a sports
- 21:57Speaker 2: talk radio host or sports television so therefore you have
- 22:03Speaker 2: to watch the sports in order to talk about them,
- 22:06Speaker 2: to which eventually that significant other will stay. Must be
- 22:10Speaker 2: nice to be out of a lot of smarts all day,
- 22:13Speaker 2: number one? Yeah it is. This is partly why I
- 22:17Speaker 2: chose my job. This is why I don't This is
- 22:19Speaker 2: why I didn't show any interest in any other thing.
- 22:22Speaker 2: I wanted to do this because then that meant I
- 22:24Speaker 2: could do this for a living.
- 22:27Speaker 5: Oh, yeah, it must be nice to be at a
- 22:29Speaker 5: bar all day. It's work. Yeah it's not.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Yeah, you can't say that to Trey Tray's been sober
- 22:37Speaker 2: for nine years. It's not nice for Trey to be
- 22:39Speaker 2: at a bar all day. I've had to deal with.
- 22:44Speaker 3: Drunk versions of you.
- 22:47Speaker 5: Maybe and maybe clean up some puke in between.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Yeah, fabulous, it must be. It really is all about
- 22:55Speaker 2: perspective as well. It's like someone that's bitching about your job, Jerry,
- 22:59Speaker 2: about being in front of a computer all day. Might's
- 23:01Speaker 2: be nice to look at a website all day, yeah,
- 23:03Speaker 2: Turaj ms be nice being able to be at home
- 23:05Speaker 2: all day. Yeah, because you're going to go out at
- 23:07Speaker 2: night and make people laugh. What if the hardest things
- 23:09Speaker 2: on this planet to do? Maybe she has an office
- 23:13Speaker 2: job and she hates it. A guy doing construction outside
- 23:18Speaker 2: of Raj's hotel room, jackhammering away at eight am might
- 23:26Speaker 2: walk into her office someday and say, it must be
- 23:28Speaker 2: nice to be able to work in an air conditioned
- 23:31Speaker 2: office every day. Meanwhile, he's out building bridges and things
- 23:34Speaker 2: or jack hammering outside Raj's.
- 23:37Speaker 3: I don't think this guy's going to do that, mostly because, Yeah,
- 23:42Speaker 3: I found out because I was wondering what was going on.
- 23:45Speaker 3: I heard the jackhammering, and then I heard the language
- 23:47Speaker 3: that I didn't understand, Like I didn't know what like
- 23:50Speaker 3: what region it was from? What accent it was? So
- 23:53Speaker 3: kind of cracked open the door and found out it's
- 23:55Speaker 3: in Most of the construction crew are death.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Oh yeah, so that's the accent you heard that was unrecognizable.
- 24:04Speaker 3: Yeah, because there's still it's okay, So think of it
- 24:06Speaker 3: like Marley Mattlin, Like they still can talk, but they're
- 24:09Speaker 3: also still signing. So that's what I was hearing was
- 24:12Speaker 3: them trying to talk.
- 24:14Speaker 2: Yeah. Uh.
- 24:15Speaker 3: And then when I opened the door, I was like,
- 24:16Speaker 3: what where are these guys from? And then I threw
- 24:19Speaker 3: open the door, and then I just see the sign
- 24:21Speaker 3: language going back and forth and then trying to communicate,
- 24:23Speaker 3: and I'm like, I'm a dick, Just shut the door.
- 24:28Speaker 2: I'm not fluent in sign language, but I can tell
- 24:30Speaker 2: you what they were saying. It'd be nice to be
- 24:32Speaker 2: able to hear.
- 24:34Speaker 3: Well, they're working the jackhammers out downstairs in the parking lot.
- 24:38Speaker 3: So if you're gonna hire anybody to work jackhammers, and
- 24:42Speaker 3: hire the guy that can't hear.
- 24:43Speaker 2: It, it's actually pretty brilliant.
- 24:46Speaker 3: Yeah, it's genius.
- 24:48Speaker 2: It's kind of like it's kind of like being a
- 24:50Speaker 2: coach in sports. What's the idea of being What makes
- 24:53Speaker 2: a good coach in sports tray getting your players and
- 24:55Speaker 2: putting him in the best positions to be successful. I mean,
- 24:57Speaker 2: what better than a deaf jackhammer guy?
- 25:00Speaker 3: Yeah, as my buddy Johnny Sanchez says, or a customer
- 25:03Speaker 3: service lady with Tourette's.

- 26:26Speaker 2: I love I love it, Jerry, How you can make
- 26:28Speaker 2: lover boys so awkward yet so entertaining, all at the
- 26:30Speaker 2: same time, just a split second behind the vocals. It's
- 26:36Speaker 2: much better today than it was last week. That's for sure,
- 26:38Speaker 2: less less lagged day. There's your light now it works. Also,
- 26:42Speaker 2: I think you're muted, Jerry. There's my light. Yeah, there
- 26:49Speaker 2: you go. All right. This might be shocking to some.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Bats glow in the dark. This really scene SEMs to
- 27:00Speaker 2: have thrown a wrench into a lot of what we've
- 27:03Speaker 2: believed throughout our lives. That's a little generic on how
- 27:07Speaker 2: I put it. More specifically, bats glow bright green under
- 27:11Speaker 2: ultraviolet light, meaning Bruce Wayne's dry cleaner ozum an apology.
- 27:15Speaker 2: At least that's important too, very good.
- 27:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I enjoyed that one.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Scientists at the University of Georgia have confirmed that several
- 27:28Speaker 2: species of North American bats glow a ghostly green under
- 27:34Speaker 2: ultraviolet light. So exciting you guys want to see it?
- 27:39Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 27:39Speaker 2: Sure, all right, here we go ultraviolet lights, Here we go.
- 27:48Speaker 2: So I'm a firm believer. Now do you guys see
- 27:51Speaker 2: the image at all? No? No, hang on, you gotta
- 27:53Speaker 2: turn on the black light. Hang on, hang on.
- 27:59Speaker 3: That's an old Zeppelin poster, right, poster smoking weed.
- 28:06Speaker 2: We're back, bro, I've got too many buttons open. Hang on,
- 28:15Speaker 2: shas green? Where do you share? It's green again? There
- 28:18Speaker 2: it is?
- 28:18Speaker 8: Sorry?
- 28:19Speaker 2: Sorry? And yeah, that should see it there? Oh my,
- 28:27Speaker 2: that is.
- 28:29Speaker 5: The stuff nightmares.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Or it's the best rave you've ever been to.
- 28:36Speaker 3: Right, yeah, that's the wrong time to do shrooms and
- 28:39Speaker 3: see that. Guy.
- 28:42Speaker 2: I'm just glad that one time we had the two
- 28:45Speaker 2: times we had bats flying around at our room when
- 28:47Speaker 2: we were living on Saint John last year, I'm glad
- 28:49Speaker 2: we didn't shine the UV lights at it.
- 28:53Speaker 3: You have black lights in your room. What's going on, guys.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Look, it was a rental. We just wanted to make sure.
- 29:05Speaker 4: Smart Well, we already knew this about scorpions. Now we're
- 29:10Speaker 4: finding it out about bats. I guess we're gonna have
- 29:12Speaker 4: to start walking around with the dark with UV lights
- 29:14Speaker 4: find out what else glows in the dark.
- 29:16Speaker 3: I wouldn't suggest it.
- 29:19Speaker 2: I would actually like to back up just to hear
- 29:20Speaker 2: I did not know that scorpions also glowed in the dark.
- 29:25Speaker 2: Oh yeah, or under UV light or whatever.
- 29:30Speaker 3: You can also tell, especially in you know, having a
- 29:33Speaker 3: nightclub back in the day, who had really bad teeth,
- 29:37Speaker 3: like dental work done, Because if it's good, your teeth
- 29:42Speaker 3: don't shine like bright white under blacklights. But if your
- 29:47Speaker 3: dental work was like if you had implants put in
- 29:49Speaker 3: or a bridge or something like that and it was
- 29:51Speaker 3: done with like cheap material, they'll just shine. And it's
- 29:54Speaker 3: only that part of your mouth that's shining. You can
- 29:58Speaker 3: look somebody like talking to a girl in smartling, I'm
- 30:00Speaker 3: like she's about to walk away.
- 30:04Speaker 2: This study examined sixty bat specimens from six species and
- 30:09Speaker 2: found that every one of them, when blasted with UV radiation,
- 30:12Speaker 2: lit up like a frat house on Saint Patrick's Day.
- 30:14Speaker 2: The glow was consistent across sex, age and species, a
- 30:17Speaker 2: rare example of unity in the animal kingdom and possibly
- 30:21Speaker 2: the only time biology has ever looked this coordinated. So
- 30:25Speaker 2: there you go, all sixty bat specimens glue glue glowed
- 30:31Speaker 2: under UV lighting.
- 30:35Speaker 5: And what exactly why were why did they decide, hey,
- 30:40Speaker 5: let's take a UV light look at bats.
- 30:43Speaker 2: Probably because they were at a frat house on the
- 30:50Speaker 2: research facility slash frat house still have a shared belief
- 30:56Speaker 2: in hold my beer.
- 30:58Speaker 3: Yeah, that study seems like it is like my fraternity
- 31:01Speaker 3: brother to your brothers from college. It's just like drunk, Like, dude,
- 31:05Speaker 3: let's go see if bats glow.
- 31:06Speaker 4: Like, okay, maybe that was somebody. Maybe that was somebody
- 31:10Speaker 4: covering up a rave. Yeah, bat flies in. They're like,
- 31:14Speaker 4: hey man, that thing glows. Get this whole thing paid for.
- 31:18Speaker 4: That's right, you can turn this rave into a grant,
- 31:21Speaker 4: all right.
- 31:23Speaker 5: Or they were like, well, we lost our disease.
- 31:25Speaker 10: Maccock's what next, get the glowing bats? Distracted with the bats?
- 31:36Speaker 10: Holy shit, did you just release bats?
- 31:42Speaker 2: I feel like I feel like we're getting new new
- 31:44Speaker 2: forms of the apocalypse, like the frogs and the Locusts
- 31:47Speaker 2: was just child's play. New plates, Yeah, getting all news.
- 31:54Speaker 5: Or a new hero Bat mccock.
- 31:58Speaker 2: Do you say Bato pat bat Yep.
- 32:04Speaker 3: Whatever you hear is one hero I am.
- 32:07Speaker 2: And it's the hero you deserve. For all things Treehouse,
