Transcript
- 0:00Welcome to World View Matters, discussing controversial issues, discerning current events,
- 0:10defending biblical Christianity.
- 0:13No topic off limits.
- 0:16And now, here's your host, David Fierazzo.
- 0:19Hey, friends, very important topic today.
- 0:22Thank you for watching and sharing the podcast and praying for us.
- 0:25Do you believe that silence equals consent?
- 0:29And we're going to be talking about the sin of a mission today.
- 0:33And we're going to answer the questions, how have godly people been persuaded to let
- 0:38ungodlessness or god, yeah, godlessness reign?
- 0:43And we're going to go back to a quote from 1954.
- 0:46In recent history, President Eisenhower said this relationship between a spiritual faith
- 0:52and our form of government is obvious.
- 0:57Man is endowed by his creator, born in the image of God.
- 1:02There's a brand new book out.
- 1:03I need you to mark on Amazon or go to Americanminute.com.
- 1:09The book is by Bill Federer, William J. Federer, it's called Silence Equals Consent.
- 1:16And on the bottom, it says, speak now or forever, lose your freedom.
- 1:23And this coming from someone who has just removed a video that I did a podcast last week
- 1:28from YouTube.
- 1:29It was taken down.
- 1:30We've been many of us have been censored, shadow banned, but we still continue to speak,
- 1:35but they are going to continue to come against us.
- 1:38But being silent is never the right option.
- 1:41What did the disciples say?
- 1:43We must speak about things that we have seen and heard.
- 1:46We must obey God rather than man.
- 1:48Let me bring in author and historian Bill Federer.
- 1:51Thank you so much for your time today, brother.
- 1:53I'm looking forward to diving into your book.
- 1:55Oh, great to be with you.
- 1:56All right.
- 1:57So let's start at the very beginning.
- 1:58Actually, there's a question before we get into the book.
- 2:02How did we get here where now we are being criticized and attacked and accused of being
- 2:07quote, Christian nationalists as if that's a bad thing and patriotism is a bad thing.
- 2:15Go ahead.
- 2:16Right.
- 2:17Well, nationalism is the opposite of globalism.
- 2:20There are people who are globalists.
- 2:22Yeah.
- 2:23One, broccism was the first director of the World Health Organization.
- 2:28Many people are familiar with that organization.
- 2:31And he said to achieve world government, it is necessary to remove from the minds of men
- 2:35their national patriotism.
- 2:38So globalists want to malign anybody that wants to preserve their nation.
- 2:42Currently, nationalism depends on the nation.
- 2:45If it's a socialist nation like the USSR or the Union of Nazi, which stands for National
- 2:52Socialist Workers Party, there's no individual rights, right?
- 2:56Ask the Jews.
- 2:57Islamist nations, no individual rights.
- 3:00Our nation is different.
- 3:01We believe in individual rights from a creator, freedom of religion, freedom of speech,
- 3:05freedom of assembly, from a right to trial by a jury of your peers.
- 3:09The top of all off, we are government from the consent of the governed.
- 3:13The people get to be in charge.
- 3:15That's sort of a good thing.
- 3:16So preserving other nations is bad that there's no individual rights.
- 3:20But our nation, guaranteeing individual rights, it's sort of good to want to preserve
- 3:24that, right?
- 3:26And then finally, last, Christian nationalism used to be called Christian patriotism.
- 3:30I haven't know Webster's 1828 dictionary.
- 3:34Lord nationalism is not in there.
- 3:36Lord patriotism is level one's country.
- 3:39And every leader encouraged it.
- 3:41George Washington said to the distinguished character of patriot should be our highest
- 3:45glory to law, the more distinguished character of Christian.
- 3:48Lincoln's inaugural, he said, intelligence, patriotism, Christianity are still competent
- 3:54to adjust in the best way all our present difficulty.
- 3:57Lincoln mentioned patriotism and Christianity right next to each other in his inaugural.
- 4:02Franklin Roosevelt passed out Gideon's New Testaments to all the soldiers in World
- 4:06War II.
- 4:07He wrote the forward as commander in chief.
- 4:09I take pleasure in committing the reading of the Bible to all who served in the armed
- 4:13forces.
- 4:14I wonder if the mainstream media would call Franklin Roosevelt a Christian nationalist.
- 4:18By defending our nation, passing out New Testaments, even Eisenhower said, any group
- 4:23that awakens us is a dedicated patriotic group that can well take the Bible in one hand,
- 4:27the flag in the other and march ahead.
- 4:30And as recent as 1965, 93% of Americans identify themselves as Christian, 93% that's 69%
- 4:39Protestant, 24% Catholic, 3% of the country was Jewish.
- 4:43The country has been predominantly Christian and patriotic.
- 4:47Yet the left, you have to ask yourself, why do they want to malign Christians?
- 4:54The same way that they call pro-life people anti-abortion.
- 4:59There's no pro-life group that calls itself anti-abortion, yet every single news article
- 5:02will call pro-life people anti-abortion.
- 5:04Negative word.
- 5:05So why do they call Christian Patriots Christian nationalists?
- 5:08Negative word association.
- 5:09They want a boogeyman type term.
- 5:10No, there's nothing wrong with wanting to defend and preserve a nation where individuals
- 5:15have rights and that individuals are governed from the consent of the governed.
- 5:21We are in a really dangerous place, Bill, and I know you talk about this and you've been
- 5:26thinking about this for years where believers not only need to know our history in America.
- 5:33First of all, know the Bible, then our history in America, and then world history that helps
- 5:38to understand who we are and where we are, where we came from, so we can be thankful for
- 5:44what we have.
- 5:46I want to ask you recently, this was several months ago, Pastor Jack Hibbs did the opening
- 5:51prayer in Congress and it was offensive because he used the name of Jesus and he mentioned
- 5:59God the Father and this was seen as a bad thing and they called him Christian nationalists
- 6:06and I know it's just in recent maybe years that that has now been flipped so the marketers
- 6:12of evil, the media, the left, the Marxists have used that now as a bad thing but they
- 6:18have the megaphone of the media, they have all the power to come against Christians and
- 6:23the biblical worldview.
- 6:25So your thoughts on that prayer and why at this time is that so offensive?
- 6:31You, of anybody, you know our history, hopefully people that are viewing know more of our history
- 6:36but you, my goodness, your books are amazing.
- 6:40So while the sudden you think people now, it's a really dangerous thing to stand up and
- 6:46mention the name of Jesus.
- 6:48Yeah, it is a socialist tactic called deconstruction where you separated people from their past, get
- 6:54them into a neutral where they don't remember where they came from and then you brainwash
- 6:57them into the socialist future you have planned for them.
- 7:00You know, I read through every charter of every colony.
- 7:04Every colony was started by a different Christian denomination.
- 7:08Virginia was Anglican, Massachusetts was Puritan, Rhode Island was Baptist, New York was
- 7:14Dutch reformed, Delaware, New Jersey were Swedish, Lutheran, Connecticut, New Hampshire
- 7:19worked under gaysionalist, Pennsylvania Quaker and they did not get along and they torn
- 7:24feather each other.
- 7:25But then they had to work together to fight the king during the revolution.
- 7:30After that, their attitude changed to we may not always agree on religion but you were
- 7:34willing to fight and die for my freedom, I need to let you practice your faith.
- 7:39But it was still under state's jurisdiction and so I read through every state constitution.
- 7:44Nine of the original 13 state constitutions required office holders to be Protestant, Christians
- 7:51to hold office.
- 7:52Three said all you had to do was be a plain Christian and one had zero religious requirements, Rhode
- 7:58Island, fathered by Baptist, they said if you required someone to be a Christian they
- 8:02could say they were just to get elected and that would be hypocritical.
- 8:05So you had 3 million people, 98% Protestant and 1% Catholic, 3,000 Catholics in a country
- 8:14of 3 million people and one tenth of a percent Jewish, 3,000 Jews, seven synagogues in the
- 8:18old nation.
- 8:19Then there's an Irish potato famine, early 1800s, millions of Irish Catholics come to America,
- 8:25many states change their state constitutions from acquiring office holders to be Protestant
- 8:29to just being Christian.
- 8:31And then there is a persecution of Jews in Bavaria and in 1851, Maryland changes its constitution
- 8:38from requiring all office holders to be Christian to Christian and if the party shall profess
- 8:42to be a Jew, the declaration shall be of his belief in a future state or rewards and punishments.
- 8:48After the Civil War many states rewrote their constitutions to say all you had to do is believe
- 8:52in God.
- 8:53And then in 1947 the federal government takes religion out of state jurisdiction and begins
- 8:57to morph it and allow belief in any religion until finally everybody's tolerated except
- 9:03the Christians.
- 9:04Right.
- 9:05So now it's backfired.
- 9:06They want to say, well, you Christians are intolerant.
- 9:08It's like, we're the ones that came up with the idea tolerance.
- 9:11Yeah.
- 9:12We didn't get along but then we began to tolerate each other and then it ripples on out
- 9:15to the Catholics and Jews and all the way out to the atheists and Satanists and last
- 9:20ones in when it kicked the first ones out.
- 9:22And here we are.
- 9:25On the back of your book, the book cover, you've got a quote by Billy Graham, it's chilling.
- 9:31He said, there is no doubt that nations come to an end when they have ceased to fulfill
- 9:38the function that God meant for them.
- 9:41Bill Federer, in your view and your estimation, what was the function of America under God
- 9:49and what is?
- 9:51Yeah.
- 9:52So we zoom out and look at all the recorded human history.
- 9:55The most common form of government is a king and a king is just a glorified gang leader.
- 10:01And you got Nimrod, Pharaoh, Caesar, Kaiser, Sultans are in these kingdoms, keep getting
- 10:05bigger because with the latest military advancement, kings can kill more people.
- 10:09Right.
- 10:10Instead of king killing able with a rock, they can kill with a bronze weapon iron weapon,
- 10:13failing spear, symmetra sword gunpowder and till finally the king of England had the
- 10:18biggest.
- 10:19The sun never set on the British Empire.
- 10:20He was a globalist.
- 10:22He had India, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, British Guyana, Canada, Barbados, permuted
- 10:26Jamaica and America.
- 10:28And America's founders decided they did not like this globalist king telling us what
- 10:31to do.
- 10:32They broke away and flipped it and made the people the king, the word citizen means cocaine.
- 10:39And then you go through where did America's founders get these ideas from the Reformation,
- 10:43from the Bible, what part of the Bible that first 400 years out of Egypt before King's
- 10:48law is called the Hebrew Republic.
- 10:52And it's from around 1400 BC to 1000 BC.
- 10:55This is the first instance in recorded human history of millions of people in no king.
- 11:00And it works because everyone was taught the law and everyone was personally accountable
- 11:05to God to follow the law, right?
- 11:07You're about to steal.
- 11:08Nobody's around.
- 11:09You know, you can get away with it.
- 11:10And then you think God is watching me.
- 11:11He wants me to be fair.
- 11:12He's going to be accountable.
- 11:14Maybe I should hesitate stealing.
- 11:15Create a tiny thing in your head called the conscience.
- 11:18If everyone believes this, you can maintain order with no king.
- 11:21And so this period, re King Saul is called the Hebrew Republic and it was studied by
- 11:26the Puritans.
- 11:28And so in New England, you actually had churches founding cities.
- 11:35So you had Baptist pastor Roger Williams and his Baptist church founded a city, Providence,
- 11:41Rhode Island.
- 11:42And you had a congregationalist pastor, Thomas Hooker, and his congregationalist church
- 11:47founding a city, Hartford, Connecticut.
- 11:49You had pastors founding cities.
- 11:52This is unique on the planet.
- 11:54At this time, in the early 1600s, you had 5,000 years of Chinese emperors, Indian emperors,
- 11:59and Maharajas, Japanese emperors, Korean emperors, Russian Tsars, Muslim sultans, African
- 12:05chieftains, the whole world's kings.
- 12:07And here you have this greenhouse.
- 12:09In other words, everybody was involved in church and everybody was involved in city government
- 12:16because it was the church founding the city.
- 12:19There were like no non-church members tagging along to be lazy and let them run everything.
- 12:25Everybody is involved in church and everybody is involved in the city government because
- 12:29it's the church founding the city.
- 12:30Wow.
- 12:31So they would have one building in town called the Meeting House and that's where the pastor
- 12:34would teach the Bible.
- 12:35That's where they'd do their city business.
- 12:36Yeah.
- 12:37The word synagogue means Meeting House.
- 12:39That's where the rabbi would teach the law and that's where they would do their city
- 12:41business.
- 12:42This is the 1600s.
- 12:44This is exploration of a covenant form of government that eventually turned into our
- 12:47constitution.
- 12:48And the word federal is Latin for covenant.
- 12:53That's there's so much in there, friends, you're going to probably want to rewind that
- 12:56and replay that section again from Bill Federer.
- 12:59When you mentioned the 1600s and this progression of where we're at and founding cities, I couldn't
- 13:05help but think of the black robe regiment, the pastors that actually were leaders, true
- 13:10leaders.
- 13:11And also the university system in America, 1636 Harvard University, John Harvard, a pastor,
- 13:19they were putting out theologians and their original motto was a shield as you know that
- 13:25says truth for Christ and the church, Veritas, Christo, educlezi, a truth for Christ and
- 13:30the church.
- 13:31Well, today you look at Harvard's logo and you know what's happening at Harvard now.
- 13:36There's one word Veritas, well, is it the truth when you remove Christ and the church
- 13:43from education from the universities, your thoughts on that before we have to take
- 13:46a break?
- 13:47Yeah.
- 13:48So, the Calvinist Puritans that founded Massachusetts, founded Harvard, founded Yale.
- 13:55After a century, it got a little dry and it became just a plan.
- 13:59Oh, God is a plan for your life, your marriage, your family, your church, your government.
- 14:03And some took it the next step and said, God and his infinite wisdom already knows who's
- 14:07going to wind up in heaven, so don't even bother preaching the gospel.
- 14:10And they became unavangelistic.
- 14:12So David Brainer got expelled from Yale because he said his professor was as spiritual as a
- 14:16chair.
- 14:17And so the Puritans now got nicknamed old lights and so on the 1700s, you had the new
- 14:21lights.
- 14:22And these were evangelists revival, the first great awakening and they said, it's more
- 14:26than a plan you have to have an experience with Jesus.
- 14:28And when you do your life will change and you won't do worldly things anymore like bars
- 14:33and brothels and government.
- 14:35So, wait, what was that last thing?
- 14:37Yeah, government, it's worldly.
- 14:38If you're really a Christian, you will not be involved in government.
- 14:41Well, gee, that's different than the 1600s where everybody's involved in church and everybody's
- 14:45involved in government.
- 14:46Yeah, this was this idea that if you're really spiritual, you'll withdraw.
- 14:51And four centuries of that teaching in Germany allowed Hitler to put Jews on train cars.
- 14:56And they went past the church and the Jews were crying for help and the church's response
- 15:01was, well, we can't do anything.
- 15:02There's the government that's killing Jews and we're the church and we can't get involved
- 15:05in government stuff because we're holy.
- 15:07It's like, can anybody see there's something wrong with that picture?
- 15:10And so it was called the German concept of the two kingdoms, kingdom of the government,
- 15:14the kingdom of the church, the two don't touch.
- 15:16So where the Puritan said everybody be involved in church, everybody be involved in government,
- 15:21the Piotis says, don't be involved in government because it's, you know, it's worldly.
- 15:26So it brings up a question, if all the spiritual people withdraw from government, who's left
- 15:31to be involved, but the less spiritual because they're less spiritual, though you until
- 15:34their ambitions become power, hungry, and tyrants.
- 15:37So so it's called the old light, new light controversy that went on in the early 1700s
- 15:44between the Puritans, but they would gotten a little dry.
- 15:48And then the revivalists that are holy, but so holy they withdraw from the government
- 15:53allowing the government to go down the drain.
- 15:55That's fascinating because we can see based on what you just shared, that's playing out
- 15:59today.
- 16:00Christian saying, oh, you know, it's politics secular, don't want to be involved.
- 16:05And by the way, we got to take a brief pause, we're with Bill Federer, the book is called
- 16:08Silence Equals Consent.
- 16:10When we come back, we're going to talk about Romans 13 and a misunderstood passage about
- 16:15submission to government on world view matters next.

- 17:11I also encourage you to go to our website and search for Bill Federer and go back and
- 17:17watch that previous time we had him on talking about psychological projection in the battle
- 17:23for America.
- 17:24There's a very popular podcast that we did earlier, like several months ago, may have been
- 17:29the end of last year, earlier this year, earlier this year.
- 17:32Anyway, so Bill, by the way, Americanminute.com, you can get his books and more resources.
- 17:40Romans 13 has been a passage in the Bible that has been very, very misinterpreted, ripped
- 17:47out of context, and misunderstood.
- 17:50And I'm just going to read Romans 13 verse 1, every person is to be in subjection to
- 17:55the governing authorities for there is no authority except from God and those which
- 18:01exist are established by God.
- 18:05So does this mean that we are to submit to a secular government unlimited in all circumstances?
- 18:13Please explain this.
- 18:15Right.
- 18:16So from the beginning of time, whatever the king believed, the kingdom had to believe.
- 18:19When Nebuchadnezzar blew the trumpet, you had to bow to his statue.
- 18:23So you have Israel for 400 years from around 1400 BC to 1000 BC.
- 18:30They have no king.
- 18:31It's called the Hebrew Republic, the congregation of the Israelites, the assembly of the Israelites,
- 18:36and everybody's taught the law and personally accountable to God and follow it.
- 18:40Well, the priests stopped teaching the law and every man did what's right in their own
- 18:43eyes.
- 18:44And you have Eli, the high priest, his own sons are sleeping with women in the tent where
- 18:47the ark and the covenant is.
- 18:49And anyway, the people go to Samuel the prophet and they say the self-government system is
- 18:53not working anymore.
- 18:54We want to be like the other countries.
- 18:56We want a king.
- 18:57Samuel cries in the Lord tells them they did not reject you.
- 19:00They rejected me and they get King Saul.
- 19:02Now, why is this story important?
- 19:05Because the kings of Europe look to the Bible for their authority, but they look to the
- 19:08King Saul and on part of the Bible.
- 19:11The divine ride of kings.
- 19:12God chose me.
- 19:13The Calvinist Puritans looked to the pre King Saul part of the Bible, 400 years, millions
- 19:18of people.
- 19:19Everybody taught the law, personally accountable to God to follow it.
- 19:21So King Saul is the divider between England and America.
- 19:25Both are looking to the Bible for their authority.
- 19:28One is a king.
- 19:29He rules through fear.
- 19:30He wants a theocracy.
- 19:31He got to believe the what he says and the Hebrew Republic is no, the people are in charge.
- 19:35They rule from the consent, right, bottom up.
- 19:39And so this is important because Romans 13 is understood differently in a monarchy versus
- 19:46a republic.
- 19:47In a monarchy, subjects submit to the king.
- 19:51In a republic, the citizens are the king, the word citizen is Greek.
- 19:56It means cocaine, co-ruler, co-sovereign.
- 19:59And so instead of you submitting to a king, king have subjects who are subjected to their
- 20:06will, republics have citizens.
- 20:08And so we rule ourselves bottom up, right?
- 20:12And so the politicians are your servant.
- 20:14You hire them.
- 20:15You fire them.
- 20:16They do what you tell them to do or you vote them out.
- 20:19So this is important.
- 20:20Romans 13 is understood differently in a monarchy versus a republic.
- 20:25So I want to move on to, I always use the phrase from the Bible, love your neighbor, one
- 20:32of the commandments.
- 20:34And you wrote, is it, you asked the question, is it scriptural to not care about what
- 20:40kind of country we are leaving behind?
- 20:45If you, we love our neighbor, there's evil out there that we have never seen before.
- 20:51New levels of evil when it comes to the transgenderism and the public schools and the government
- 20:55and Hollywood, the entertainment industry pornography, everything else, drugs.
- 21:00And if you love your neighbor, you will speak up.
- 21:02And the book, of course, is called Silence Equals Consent.
- 21:05So Bill, talk to us a little bit about this and, and for people that are going, well, maybe,
- 21:10yeah, but I shouldn't speak up for whatever reason they're confused about this, that maybe
- 21:15we should be silent, but we're not loving our neighbor.
- 21:18And I don't think it's biblical to, if you're silent, you're consenting, explain that
- 21:24a little bit further.
- 21:25Right.
- 21:26So, numbers, chapter 30, it says, if a daughter's still living in her father's house in her
- 21:31youth and binds herself with a vow, and the day the father hears that if he is silent,
- 21:36her vows stand.
- 21:38But if he disallows it, she's released from the vow.
- 21:40That's come down to us as vows in a wedding ceremony.
- 21:43And the pastor tells the church members, if you are silent when you hear these wedding
- 21:47vows, you're given your consent.
- 21:48Speak now forever.
- 21:49Please.
- 21:50It's called the rule of tacit admission, T-A-C-I-T.
- 21:53It's in debt collection laws.
- 21:55Somebody owes you money.
- 21:56You wait 10 years to try to start collecting.
- 21:59The judge will say, you've been silent too long, your past statute of limitations, no
- 22:03money.
- 22:04It's in trademark law.
- 22:05You design a trademark.
- 22:06Somebody copies it.
- 22:07It's all over the internet.
- 22:08If you don't try to defend your copyright, they get to use it.
- 22:12It's in real estate law.
- 22:15You save up money by a rent house.
- 22:17Some squatter moves in.
- 22:19And if you know about it and you don't try to charge a rent or a victim, they can gain
- 22:23possession of your rent house through adverse possession just by you knowing about it and
- 22:27being silent.
- 22:28And it's even in our Constitution.
- 22:31Article 1, Section 7, Congress puts a bill on the president's desk.
- 22:35If any bill shall not be returned by the president within 10 days, the same shall be a law in
- 22:41like manner.
- 22:42As if he had signed it, all he has to do is be silent for 10 days and it equals his signature.
- 22:47So if a church member's silence gives consent to wedding vows, it gives consent to other
- 22:50things.
- 22:51And if they're killing babies in the community and the church members are silent, they're
- 22:53giving consent to killing babies.
- 22:55If they're teaching the trans agenda and you know that Jesus said in Matthew 19, he
- 23:00who made them at the beginning made a male and female and you're silent, you are giving
- 23:05consent to the teaching of something other than what Jesus would teach.
- 23:08I mean, think about here are teachers who cannot even define woman.
- 23:12If they think they can tell that a little boy is supposed to be a little girl, it's insanity.
- 23:16Yet Jesus said, if you allow one of these little ones who believes in me to stumble, it
- 23:21is better that a millstone be put on your neck and be thrown in the depths of the sea.
- 23:25So it's going to be a rude awakening for church members who say, oh, we don't get involved
- 23:29in politics.
- 23:30We just preach the gospel.
- 23:31We're so spiritual.
- 23:32We don't care what kind of country we're leaving our kids.
- 23:34It's going to be a rude awakening when they realize by their silence, they're not being
- 23:37spiritual.
- 23:38They're giving consent to all the wicked things going on out there.
- 23:42They're inviting judgment on themselves, right?
- 23:44They're in accessory to the crime.
- 23:46And so you look at the scriptures, the Apostle Paul Acts 22 talking to the Lord and he
- 23:51said, and when they shed the blood of the martyr Stephen, I stood there silent.
- 23:55Concentrating to his death.
- 23:56Paul didn't throw his stone.
- 23:57He didn't say a word, yet he knew he was guilty for the death of Stephen just by standing
- 24:02there silent.
- 24:03Proverbs 24 says, rescue those who are unjustly sentenced to death.
- 24:06Don't stand back and let him die.
- 24:08Don't try to disclaim responsibility by saying you didn't know about it.
- 24:11For God who knows all hearts, knows yours and he knows you new and holds you accountable.
- 24:16Mordek, I told Esther, there's a mandate from the government to kill the Jews.
- 24:19If you're silent, you and your family will be killed, God will raise up somebody else.
- 24:23Now, an interesting chapter is numbers 20, Moses and Aaron are called to the door of
- 24:29the tabernacle.
- 24:30And God says, take the grave of the assembly, thou and Aaron speak to the rock water will
- 24:36come out.
- 24:38Well, they gather the assembly, Moses list up his rod and he hits the rock twice.
- 24:42Water comes out abundantly.
- 24:43And to the chapter, the Lord tells Moses, Aaron will not enter the land because both of
- 24:48you are held against my command at the waters of Meribah.
- 24:51It's like both we just read the chapter.
- 24:53Aaron didn't do anything.
- 24:54The whole chapter didn't say anything.
- 24:56Yeah, that's just it.
- 24:57Aaron was at the door with Moses and he heard God say speak to the rock.
- 25:01When Moses lifted up the rod and hit the rock the first time, it probably took Aaron by
- 25:05surprise.
- 25:06When Moses lifted up the rod, the second time Aaron knew what was coming and he's not
- 25:11protested.
- 25:12He didn't say, well, Moses hold it.
- 25:13He was silent.
- 25:14And in that instant, Aaron was guilty.
- 25:16Moses was a sin of co-mission.
- 25:18Aaron's was a sin of old mission.
- 25:21You know, the verse that you mentioned, Leviticus 1918, love your neighbor as
- 25:25yourself.
- 25:26The verse right before it says, confront your neighbor directly so you will not
- 25:29be held guilty for their sin.
- 25:32They're loving each other.
- 25:33And they're confiding each other.
- 25:34One translation does rebuke your neighbor and you'll not incur their guilt upon
- 25:38you.
- 25:39And so it's this idea that if you, uh, where there was no king, the people were
- 25:44the king.
- 25:45Everybody was taught the law.
- 25:46Everybody helped enforce the law.
- 25:49There's so much more that we could get into with you, Bill, because this is
- 25:53such an important topic through the years, this, this marketing of, you know,
- 25:59Christians out of the public square get rid of the salt and light so we can
- 26:02have our way to whatever we want.
- 26:03It's really produced the separation of church and state lie, one of the biggest
- 26:08lies in America that Christians should not be involved or speak up about moral
- 26:13issues or political issues.
- 26:14A minute and a half just wrap us up with your final thoughts.
- 26:17Yeah, some people say, well, I'm not going to do anything.
- 26:19I'm just waiting for the rapture.
- 26:20I have a question.
- 26:22Who do you think you're going to meet when you're raptured?
- 26:24Uh, Jesus does.
- 26:26Jesus loved the little children.
- 26:27Oh, yeah.
- 26:28You think you might wonder why you didn't do anything to protect them?
- 26:32I mean, we're not North Korea or China where you don't vote where to America
- 26:35where the citizen is the king.
- 26:36The politicians are your servants.
- 26:38You hire them.
- 26:39You fire them.
- 26:40And even if we can't turn around, shouldn't we at least try?
- 26:43You know, maybe God is pulling back the curtain and letting evil expose itself
- 26:47to expose the condition of our hearts.
- 26:49If somebody can see them mutilating children and it doesn't bother them,
- 26:53they're giving their consent to that.
- 26:55And so it's, uh, you know, I tell people, imagine a guy watching football
- 27:00and you say, when was the last time you told your wife you're loving?
- 27:03And it's like, I can't remember, but she knows my heart.
- 27:05It's like, uh, I think we need a little marriage counseling here.
- 27:08People say, well, uh, God knows my heart.
- 27:10Yes, he does.
- 27:11He wants to hear some words out of your mouth and see some actions.
- 27:13So, so the book silence equals consent goes through this.
- 27:17That if you really believe something, it's going to come out of your mouth
- 27:20and it's going to come out in your actions and you're going to defend the children.
- 27:23Amen. Bill, thank you so much.
- 27:25I mean, we just scratched the surface of what's in the book.
- 27:28I went through the, the table of contents.
- 27:30My goodness, a lot of history that Christians need to know.
- 27:33Thank you, friends, go to Americanminute.com and get this book.

- 27:43God bless.
- 27:44Thank you.
- 27:45All right, guys, um, make sure I really mean that such an important book for this time.
