- 0:09Speaker 1: Advice shooters.
- 0:12Speaker 2: It's nice level level love and love love love love.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Welcome to the naughty Banna Sham your house, Rob Shooter.
- 0:19Speaker 2: And it's Wednesday, which means I do friend Donny meets
- 0:22Speaker 2: some joint says, hey, Donny, are you there?
- 0:23Speaker 1: Level level love Wednesday? Wednesday, Wednesday.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Oh we You know it's.
- 0:28Speaker 1: So hard though, because grinning okay, first five nineties do
- 0:32Speaker 1: not yell at me. I know it's very hard to
- 0:34Speaker 1: complain about weather when I live in that way. But
- 0:37Speaker 1: it's been so gloomy the best couple of days. It's
- 0:42Speaker 1: people don't realize it, like a seasonal depression or like
- 0:45Speaker 1: the weather which affect your mood.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Oh absolutely. I lived in Scotland for four years and
- 0:50Speaker 2: we didn't see the sun for four years, and I
- 0:52Speaker 2: was actually almost quite for four years. But I didn't
- 0:56Speaker 2: realize it until I lived in a sunny country. So
- 0:59Speaker 2: when I lived in and it was always grey, so
- 1:01Speaker 2: I just was always like, oh this is the weather.
- 1:03Speaker 2: When I moved to New York, we have some lovely days,
- 1:05Speaker 2: like the sunny showy today I went for I was
- 1:08Speaker 2: beautiful and I've got used to it. And I went
- 1:10Speaker 2: back home at Christmas Britain in December. Oh it's Grid
- 1:14Speaker 2: and I felt a little depressed. It is real. Bruce
- 1:17Speaker 2: suffers from it too, seasonal depression, the weather. I'm gonna
- 1:21Speaker 2: send you a sun lamp to put above your desk,
- 1:24Speaker 2: and when you do the Naughty but Nice podcast you
- 1:26Speaker 2: can turn it on. Nothing else, just for twenty minutes
- 1:28Speaker 2: a week, or twenty minutes a week, say the ball.
- 1:31Speaker 2: You can be happy. Okay, let's jump into the show
- 1:34Speaker 2: one time? Is it my friends in? Is d time?
- 1:36Speaker 2: This is not a happy story, a bad story coming
- 1:38Speaker 2: out of London. So Buckingham Palace is allegedly concealed evidence
- 1:42Speaker 2: against the disgraced Prince Andrew for maybe as long as
- 1:45Speaker 2: six years. So bucking And Palaces is facing explosive accusations
- 1:51Speaker 2: over its handling of evidence linked to the former Prince Andrew.
- 1:55Speaker 2: According to a new report, Palace officials received thousand of
- 2:00Speaker 2: emails back in twenty twenty alleging that Andrew had shared
- 2:06Speaker 2: confidential government information while serving as a trade envoy. So,
- 2:11Speaker 2: if you remember his mom, the Queen got in this job.
- 2:13Speaker 2: He was not qualified. Everybody in Whitehall, which is really
- 2:16Speaker 2: the government in Britain, they knew. They knew that, but
- 2:19Speaker 2: he was the Queen's favorite son and he needed a job,
- 2:22Speaker 2: so they made him a trade envoy. He knew nothing
- 2:24Speaker 2: about trade. He only wanted to go to the countries
- 2:27Speaker 2: he wanted to go to, and so he got this
- 2:29Speaker 2: purely because of his mom mate. And at the time,
- 2:32Speaker 2: allegedly there were a lot of emails saying this. The
- 2:36Speaker 2: Queen was warned, Many people were warned, but nobody could
- 2:41Speaker 2: do anything because they were frightened of upsetting the queen. Now,
- 2:44Speaker 2: as you know, anyone that listens to this show, anyone
- 2:47Speaker 2: that knows me knows I'm a huge fan of Queen Elizabeth's.
- 2:50Speaker 2: But there might have been a problem here. Let's be honest.
- 2:54Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure there was nepotism. Giving somebody a job
- 2:58Speaker 2: that they are not qualified for just because they're related
- 3:02Speaker 2: to somebody important. It never works out. And Andrew's a
- 3:05Speaker 2: bad man. Whether or not he's guilty of this, we
- 3:07Speaker 2: will find out, but we all know at this point
- 3:10Speaker 2: he's not a good man. He's not somebody that you
- 3:12Speaker 2: would be proud of to have as your son. The
- 3:14Speaker 2: Queen did not know that. You know, sometimes a mother's love,
- 3:18Speaker 2: a friend's love, can be blind Donnie, I won't have
- 3:20Speaker 2: a word said about you, and everyone's told me you're
- 3:23Speaker 2: a stinker, and just saying you can be blinded by love.
- 3:27Speaker 2: I'm not excusing it, but I fear here, donnay that
- 3:30Speaker 2: the Palace has a lot to answer for. What do
- 3:33Speaker 2: you think?
- 3:34Speaker 1: Okay, yes, I agree, and I think that you said
- 3:36Speaker 1: it right. The Palace has a lot to answer for
- 3:39Speaker 1: because here's the thing. The President will go with the
- 3:43Speaker 1: Queen and the.
- 3:43Speaker 2: President, you know, the things similar.
- 3:46Speaker 1: The similar thing, but they're you know, there's status a
- 3:50Speaker 1: lot of the time does in name only. There are
- 3:53Speaker 1: twenty thirty forty fifty people who do all the decision
- 3:57Speaker 1: making for them in the day to day of things
- 4:00Speaker 1: that they are left out of. And I doubt every
- 4:05Speaker 1: day that Queen Elizabeth was on her iPhone looking at
- 4:08Speaker 1: her Gmail going oh, there's a little email about Prince Andrew.
- 4:14Speaker 2: I see what you're saying.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I doubt she was even notified the little trivial good
- 4:19Speaker 1: And I hate to use the word trivial, but in
- 4:21Speaker 1: the grand scheme of things, that is considered trivial.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Smaller, smaller, let's say, a smaller email. Yeah, I understand
- 4:27Speaker 2: what you're saying. Here. If you run a big company
- 4:29Speaker 2: or even a small company like me, the things that
- 4:31Speaker 2: land on my desk are the most problematic. If a
- 4:34Speaker 2: problem can be solved before it gets to me, it's solved.
- 4:38Speaker 2: They are only problems that come to me are the
- 4:40Speaker 2: ones that cannot be solved. People, I have a team
- 4:43Speaker 2: of people who do a ton of work. Thank you
- 4:45Speaker 2: very much. I love you. Deally, you will and you're right,
- 4:49Speaker 2: you're right, and you're right. A lot of the day
- 4:52Speaker 2: to day stuff I don't see, not because I don't
- 4:54Speaker 2: want to see it, but it's just not brought to
- 4:56Speaker 2: my attention. The Queen's the top of a massive company here.
- 4:59Speaker 2: We think of it as family, but we shouldn't think
- 5:01Speaker 2: of the Royal Palace, think of Bookingham Palace. Think of
- 5:04Speaker 2: the royal family as a company. And she's the head
- 5:06Speaker 2: of the company. She's the CEO, she's the boss of it.
- 5:09Speaker 2: In the same way that I think Mark Zuckerberg doesn't
- 5:12Speaker 2: know every detail about Facebook or doesn't know it, he
- 5:16Speaker 2: knows the really big stuff. I would argue that that
- 5:19Speaker 2: this is this is big stuff now. It feels like
- 5:21Speaker 2: big stuff now because we know the whole story. But
- 5:24Speaker 2: you're right, Donny six years ago, a guy who had
- 5:27Speaker 2: a job that shouldn't have had a job. That was
- 5:30Speaker 2: really the criticism. This wasn't people saying they had been
- 5:33Speaker 2: raped or sexually abused by Andrew, and so maybe there
- 5:37Speaker 2: is some cover here. Although I am a believer. If
- 5:41Speaker 2: your name is on that desk, if your name is
- 5:45Speaker 2: it's your Yeah, you do, you do. That's why you
- 5:47Speaker 2: have to surround yourself with really good people like I have,
- 5:52Speaker 2: apart from one for one little shady one that I
- 5:55Speaker 2: can't get rid of. But nevertheless, you've got to surround
- 5:58Speaker 2: yourself with really good people, which brings us to our
- 6:00Speaker 2: whole question after the day, but Kingham Palace may have
- 6:03Speaker 2: concealed evidence against the former Prince Andrew for six yes,
- 6:09Speaker 2: did the Queen know what? Did the queen know? Did
- 6:14Speaker 2: the late Queen know? Hey? Your vote on Twitter page
- 6:19Speaker 2: add naughty nice Rob. I know it takes nap so
- 6:21Speaker 2: a lot of you. I just like the word Twitter.
- 6:24Speaker 2: It makes me smile, so it's going to go with
- 6:26Speaker 2: that for a little bit longer. Go to our Twitter
- 6:28Speaker 2: page and naughty nice Rob Facebook page is Naughty Gossip
- 6:32Speaker 2: and be sure to check back to my rower to
- 6:34Speaker 2: hear your results. Hey, Donny, what are you working on?
- 6:38Speaker 1: Well, you know, the old saying is you're not supposed
- 6:41Speaker 1: to speak ill love the dead. It is you know
- 6:43Speaker 1: some people go well, director Adam Marcus is not, you know,
- 6:47Speaker 1: abiding by that role. He is calling Val Kilmer the
- 6:52Speaker 1: worst human One year after the actor did so. Marcus
- 6:58Speaker 1: he directed the you know top Gun, you know that
- 7:01Speaker 1: old little you know, that big eat video indie film
- 7:04Speaker 1: called hun and he's basically saying that Falcilmer was the
- 7:09Speaker 1: worst person on the planet. He's a horrible human being.
- 7:13Speaker 1: And he having no problems coming out saying this.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Now.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Look, I do believe that if you are a terrible
- 7:20Speaker 1: human being, do you all of a sudden because you're dead,
- 7:24Speaker 1: does that like do away with everything that you did know?
- 7:27Speaker 1: But it makes you wonder, why are you waiting a
- 7:30Speaker 1: year for this to now come out? Or you you
- 7:34Speaker 1: didn't want to say anything then because he could defend himself.
- 7:38Speaker 1: That's the only problem I have with people saying things
- 7:40Speaker 1: about somebody when they're dead is they're not there to
- 7:43Speaker 1: defend themselves at all, Right.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Right along, right, right right. It's a complicated one. We
- 7:49Speaker 2: know from working in this business. We've had the rarest
- 7:52Speaker 2: human beings. Was not a table person to work with.
- 7:56Speaker 2: I'm being gentle. It's a tricky person. That's a co
- 8:00Speaker 2: wordy with celebrity journalism. He was a tricky person. We
- 8:03Speaker 2: know this. We've heard the rumors enough people have said it.
- 8:06Speaker 2: The question is, is saying it now that he's dead
- 8:09Speaker 2: really awful or is it part of a longer conversation
- 8:13Speaker 2: about the complicated legacy of the actor. I think we
- 8:17Speaker 2: should look at things in a holistic way. I do.
- 8:21Speaker 2: I think that they can be good and bad in
- 8:23Speaker 2: the same person. That's what makes human beings so interesting.
- 8:27Speaker 2: No Marty with the exception of being or one hundred
- 8:29Speaker 2: percent good, and no Buddy with the exception of Donna
- 8:32Speaker 2: or one hundred percent bad. We're all somewhere in the
- 8:36Speaker 2: middle and Welkim. Unfortunately, it seems from what the reports
- 8:41Speaker 2: I've heard, the pendulum swung towards the naughty. He was
- 8:44Speaker 2: not that nice. The question is should we be talking
- 8:48Speaker 2: about it. I'm going to stick my neck out and
- 8:50Speaker 2: say yes, I think we should. We can do it
- 8:52Speaker 2: in a really dignified, kind, nice manner. But pretending stuff
- 8:58Speaker 2: didn't exist, tending people didn't do something doesn't make it
- 9:03Speaker 2: go away. We can say he was an incredible actor.
- 9:06Speaker 2: He made some great movies. He had a horrible struggle
- 9:09Speaker 2: with his health, and it's war for what happened to
- 9:11Speaker 2: him along the way. He was not the easiest to
- 9:14Speaker 2: work with. There, that's a nice way of saying it.
- 9:17Speaker 2: And you all know exactly what I mean. Do you think, Donnie,
- 9:22Speaker 2: that we should just say it? Do you think that
- 9:24Speaker 2: we should sugarcoat it a little bit? I like a
- 9:26Speaker 2: spoonful of sugar? What about you?
- 9:29Speaker 1: I mean, it does make you know, the medicine go
- 9:31Speaker 1: down a little easier.
- 9:34Speaker 2: But I also.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Am if somebody though, if you know somebody's tricky and
- 9:41Speaker 1: yet everyone around them is sugarcoating it, the person's going
- 9:45Speaker 1: to remain tricky because.
- 9:46Speaker 2: We did never change responsible. Yeah, he never changed. That's interesting.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Why are we doing this? Are we doing this to
- 9:52Speaker 2: change behavior which we can't because he's no longer us?
- 9:55Speaker 2: Are we doing this to make to paint a full picture?
- 9:59Speaker 2: And so that's a really good point. Why white, hellutle,
- 10:03Speaker 2: why reveal it? I think we should Okay, moving along,
- 10:07Speaker 2: Cramo Brown, I think I'm pronouncing that right. He's one
- 10:09Speaker 2: of the queer eyes who've got his own shirt. He's
- 10:12Speaker 2: really revealing the final struggle that led to the Queer
- 10:15Speaker 2: Eye fallout. So if you remember, there was a rumor
- 10:18Speaker 2: that he caught the cast talking about him, and it
- 10:21Speaker 2: gets worse. He was with his mom, Oh, that's embarrassing.
- 10:24Speaker 2: So he said his mom did overhear these horrible comments too,
- 10:29Speaker 2: and he said that it devastated her, And that really
- 10:31Speaker 2: did become the final story in a relationship that was
- 10:34Speaker 2: already deteriorating for years. There was a lot of real,
- 10:37Speaker 2: real competition between these guys. They all wanted to be
- 10:41Speaker 2: the start. They'd seen what happened to the first Queer Eye.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Carson Cressley went on to be the breakout star, and
- 10:46Speaker 2: we do not really know about the other ones, and
- 10:48Speaker 2: so they did not want that to happen to them.
- 10:50Speaker 2: He did go on to say that he felt depressed
- 10:54Speaker 2: and isolated and unwelcome during filming. Now, my sources have
- 10:58Speaker 2: pushback and said he was a problem, to which he
- 11:01Speaker 2: does admit. He does say that he was not blameless
- 11:03Speaker 2: and acknowledges there there was times when he was very
- 11:06Speaker 2: emotional and that contributed to the conflict. It makes me
- 11:10Speaker 2: sad here, but it's not that unusual. A lot of
- 11:12Speaker 2: TV shows, even shows that are still on the air now,
- 11:14Speaker 2: they all pretend to be best friends. You've done it,
- 11:17Speaker 2: like the radio show has done it. You've done it
- 11:19Speaker 2: on TV shows. It's part of acting. It's part of
- 11:22Speaker 2: the job. It's part of making the listener of the
- 11:26Speaker 2: viewer want to believe that you are a family. And
- 11:29Speaker 2: in most cases I've worked on different shows, different ready shows,
- 11:34Speaker 2: it's not the case. What do you think what swee?
- 11:38Speaker 1: You put five or six a game in in a
- 11:40Speaker 1: room together, petty. That is the name of the game, petty.
- 11:45Speaker 1: But you have to here's the thing, the whole queer
- 11:49Speaker 1: eye cast. I feel like the problem is with a
- 11:52Speaker 1: lot of these things is the show got so big
- 11:55Speaker 1: so fast that the reality is is that does go
- 11:59Speaker 1: to Bee's head? You become this huge star. Now you
- 12:03Speaker 1: think about it. Now you don't really hear about any
- 12:06Speaker 1: of them except for the negativity. There's also a lot
- 12:09Speaker 1: of there's a lot of insiders and I know personal
- 12:12Speaker 1: people who have said Jonathan van Ness is also a
- 12:16Speaker 1: little tricky.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Tricky.
- 12:19Speaker 1: It's a little tricky. And the thing is, though they're
- 12:23Speaker 1: lucky because if that was my mom on set, who
- 12:26Speaker 1: overheard she would have burnt the whole.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Set down swinging because and that's so they're lucky that
- 12:34Speaker 2: it didn't go farther than it did. Why I imagine.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Being the one person who granted the rest of them
- 12:43Speaker 1: insiders and didn't really get along either. But it's easier
- 12:47Speaker 1: to find an ally with someone who you're against if
- 12:52Speaker 1: you're both against the same person.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Yes, you have the same enemy, and then you become friends.
- 12:57Speaker 2: So they all had as an enemy hit. You did
- 13:00Speaker 2: say this show did explode. We are so lucky, Donny,
- 13:02Speaker 2: that we've never been on a hit. So lucky. Everything
- 13:05Speaker 2: we've done has been sort of the road, middle of
- 13:09Speaker 2: the road. Can you imagine if this show exploded, would
- 13:11Speaker 2: fall out of me? That's the side of a hit
- 13:16Speaker 2: where the cast is fighting. It never happens on the flops.
- 13:19Speaker 2: It's a hit show. Okay, quickly, before we get a break,
- 13:21Speaker 2: Jimmy Kimmel is shedding some light on his own exit
- 13:24Speaker 2: plans from Late Night. What does he have to say?
- 13:28Speaker 1: He is saying, Look, so everybody is now because remember
- 13:31Speaker 1: we are Remember Jimmy was you know.
- 13:34Speaker 2: He was suspended for a.
- 13:37Speaker 1: And ever since then, I can imagine that his relationship
- 13:42Speaker 1: with ABT and Disney is a tricky that's the word
- 13:47Speaker 1: of the day. There's a lot of talk about him
- 13:51Speaker 1: also leaving Late Night TV, and especially after Stephen Colbert
- 13:55Speaker 1: was canceled, and he has personally gone on the attack
- 13:59Speaker 1: again CBS saying basic because the rumor is now is
- 14:03Speaker 1: that Late Night's dying, and Jimmy and them are like, no, no,
- 14:06Speaker 1: no, no no, you just don't want to pay the money anymore.
- 14:09Speaker 1: That's which is a business decision. But Jimmy is saying
- 14:12Speaker 1: he felt defeated since Stephen got you know, but also
- 14:16Speaker 1: he wants to leave responsibly because he doesn't want to
- 14:19Speaker 1: put his team out of work.
- 14:21Speaker 2: That's very nice.
- 14:22Speaker 1: If we know anything, that means he will not be
- 14:26Speaker 1: reseigning his contract. That means he's already thought about.
- 14:28Speaker 2: It's sort about twenty twenty seven. Twenty seven twenty contract expires.
- 14:33Speaker 2: I've done stories saying he's not renewing that contract and
- 14:37Speaker 2: he'll tell his team really soon, so they have a
- 14:39Speaker 2: year to find another trend, which I think is a
- 14:41Speaker 2: very kind thing to do. But I don't think he's
- 14:43Speaker 2: going to continue with the show after the contract and
- 14:46Speaker 2: TV is changing. We're seeing that at sixty minutes, we're
- 14:48Speaker 2: seeing that, and we can all blame it on management
- 14:51Speaker 2: or people taking over who are in experience. Even without
- 14:54Speaker 2: these people coming along, even without the political influences, T
- 14:59Speaker 2: is changing, and nobody wants to acknowledge it. Nobody wanted
- 15:02Speaker 2: to acknowledge magazines. We're changing, and look at the mess
- 15:05Speaker 2: that they are in. They've got to get ahead of this.
- 15:07Speaker 2: It is streaming, it is online, it is YouTube. We've
- 15:11Speaker 2: had to change, and TV has to change to. Okay,
- 15:14Speaker 2: we're going to take a quick break and it will
- 15:16Speaker 2: be right back. Have you met Nudibnaia and your hair
- 15:21Speaker 2: shoot with her dear friend Donny Meecham, Hey, Donnie, let's
- 15:24Speaker 2: get to the polls. So extra so extra so. Jennifer Lopez,
- 15:31Speaker 2: we revealed this on our last show, supports a child
- 15:34Speaker 2: but doesn't want to tell their story. I think we
- 15:36Speaker 2: know what we're talking about here. We've we've been very
- 15:38Speaker 2: gentle about this subject for literally months. We know what's
- 15:41Speaker 2: happening with one of Jen's kids. They are now becoming
- 15:45Speaker 2: more and more open about it, changing their name, changing
- 15:48Speaker 2: their pronouns. Jennifer hasn't commented on it. Is this the
- 15:51Speaker 2: right move? Or the wrong move where the right move.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Eighty four percent said it is the right move. I
- 15:56Speaker 2: think she's handled it really beautifully. Yeah, Race, Grace, Grace, Hey,
- 16:02Speaker 2: don't forget to vote on today's Paul will go to
- 16:05Speaker 2: our Twitter or x page at not too nice rob
- 16:08Speaker 2: at Facebook page is naughty gossip. I'm sure to check
- 16:12Speaker 2: out tomorrow hour to hear your results and my live
- 16:15Speaker 2: a bit of love. It's time for the nicest of
- 16:19Speaker 2: the day.
- 16:22Speaker 1: I do want to know we are in the two
- 16:26Speaker 1: we come. Our parents had to accept our differences as well.
- 16:30Speaker 1: We just because she is not speaking out about it,
- 16:34Speaker 1: I want to reiterate, does not mean she doesn't support them.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Yes, yes, yes, just want to thank you.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Parents don't have to go out and tell their kids
- 16:43Speaker 1: to tell them that they love them and support them.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Leave it. Thank you. Yep.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Kendall Jinn, Jacob Lordie a lot of romance for a
- 16:53Speaker 1: Roman you imagine to do it like I want some ramen.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Let's see what was open late down the street. Let's
- 17:04Speaker 1: see it was over to Tokyo.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Imagine having that kind of.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Imagine could you have that sheet?
- 17:12Speaker 2: It's sweet, ridiculous and rich. I love it. I'm jealous. Well,
- 17:19Speaker 2: they're in Tokyo and the only reason we know about
- 17:21Speaker 2: it is the restaurant they popped into took a picture
- 17:24Speaker 2: of them that we know. I like it, god less. YEA.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Love is love is love is loving. You two are
- 17:30Speaker 2: love and that love is Roman. That's kind of that's
- 17:33Speaker 2: that's actually a good title for a book. And is
- 17:35Speaker 2: the day Blake Liveliest dragged just In belt Only back
- 17:38Speaker 2: into court. Weeks after the lawsuit settlement. I want to
- 17:42Speaker 2: tell you what the story is, but I don't even
- 17:44Speaker 2: care about the story.
- 17:45Speaker 1: What I care about is Blake, Blake Blague.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Let me just feel everybody about technically what's happening, which
- 17:54Speaker 2: I don't really care about. Again, I just Blague. So
- 17:57Speaker 2: weeks after the settlement, I just ordered the ends with
- 18:00Speaker 2: us CO stars back into court to address damages connecting
- 18:05Speaker 2: to Baldone is dismissed four hundred million dollar before mention
- 18:08Speaker 2: lawsuit that he brought against her after she brought a
- 18:11Speaker 2: lawsuit against him. So she wants damages. She doesn't just
- 18:15Speaker 2: want damage, if she wants triple damages, punitive damages. I
- 18:18Speaker 2: don't know quite what that all means, but it sounds
- 18:20Speaker 2: very hundred Blake, he doesn't have a black I'm so
- 18:25Speaker 2: sick of this story and naughtyoust of the day. Let's
- 18:29Speaker 2: end with Blake a moment of rum, get a rag,
- 18:34Speaker 2: Thank you, darling. Happiness isn't having at all, it's appreciating
- 18:38Speaker 2: what you have. Many people spend their live chasing the
- 18:41Speaker 2: next achievement. I used to do that, chasing the next purchase.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Or I used to always think I'd be happier if
- 18:46Speaker 2: I had more shoes or the next milestone. Believing their
- 18:49Speaker 2: happiness it waited on the other side of that rainbower.
- 18:52Speaker 2: But true happiness doesn't come from having anything. It comes
- 18:56Speaker 2: from recognizing the value of what you already have in
- 18:58Speaker 2: your life. Gratude shifts your focus from what's missing to
- 19:03Speaker 2: what's present. If I looked at my life today, I
- 19:06Speaker 2: could moan a little bit about, Oh I'm disappointed about this,
- 19:09Speaker 2: or I wish I've got that. If you'd asked me
- 19:11Speaker 2: twenty years ago, would I like to lift this life?
- 19:13Speaker 2: I wouldn't have believed that I could live this life
- 19:15Speaker 2: to pay my bill. Sitting in a closet with Donnie
- 19:17Speaker 2: and podcasting, I mean, it's still sick, so I should
- 19:20Speaker 2: work in a shop that's what all my friends are doing.
- 19:22Speaker 2: And so I try to have gratitude all the time.
- 19:25Speaker 2: And once again, I don't look at what I don't have.
- 19:28Speaker 2: I look at what I do, and my piece of
- 19:30Speaker 2: the pie is just great. And I would argue yours
- 19:32Speaker 2: is to buddy think Donnie, gratitude you're that you struggle
- 19:36Speaker 2: with it.
- 19:37Speaker 1: I do sometimes struggle with it because it's hard. There's
- 19:41Speaker 1: a lot of times where you're like, oh, I'm overwhelmed
- 19:43Speaker 1: by the negativity and the stuff going on around me
- 19:45Speaker 1: that it's sometimes hard to see through. Very what good
- 19:49Speaker 1: things you have? Very were a lot of times where
- 19:52Speaker 1: I sit around and I go, I'm in my own
- 19:54Speaker 1: one vegroom apartment.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Yes, paying your bills and your friends with robture today
- 19:59Speaker 2: want would you want? Hey? That is it for today?
- 20:04Speaker 2: Thank you so much for listening. So they're not even
- 20:06Speaker 2: nice with Rob and Donnie show production. Have I heart
- 20:09Speaker 2: plead you and Elvis durand don't forget to follow me
- 20:11Speaker 2: on substack, Donna you follow me on substack, sust Thank
- 20:14Speaker 2: you very much substack dot com. And also did you
- 20:16Speaker 2: buy my book Donnie? It started with a whisper. Thank
- 20:19Speaker 2: you very much. It's started with I don't care about that.
- 20:22Speaker 2: I just won't you have money buying my book. If
- 20:24Speaker 2: you have a book, please, I'm on that second phrase now.
- 20:28Speaker 2: It did very well in the beginning and now it's
- 20:30Speaker 2: dropping off, and I want to just have that extra
- 20:32Speaker 2: little bud push going into Beach Reads. And remember, if
- 20:37Speaker 2: you're going to be naughty, you're gonna be let me
