Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: To Teas in a pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Camera Judge.
- 0:14Speaker 2: All Right, you guys, we are live from Bravocon.
- 0:17Speaker 3: I am here with Jackie Goldschneider and Jen Bessler. Not
- 0:21Speaker 3: only are they here as my guests, but I have
- 0:24Speaker 3: exciting news because we are launching Two Jersey Jays, which myself,
- 0:31Speaker 3: Chris Harrison, and Tarma Judge will be executive producing. We
- 0:35Speaker 3: are so excited to join for you guys to join
- 0:38Speaker 3: the iHeart family. Thank you, guys.
- 0:40Speaker 4: You are not even half as excited as Oh my god.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Well, I have a question.
- 0:45Speaker 3: Is Teresa excited that you're doing podcast with me and Tamra?
- 0:49Speaker 4: Yeah. She hasn't said a word otherwise. She's just been like,
- 0:52Speaker 4: I'm so excited for you guys. Yeah, huh yeah.
- 0:56Speaker 3: I was curious actually of Tamra and I don't at
- 1:00Speaker 3: Bravo Con.
- 1:01Speaker 4: I don't know if she knows that we're with you guys.
- 1:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Yeah, so she's excited for us.
- 1:10Speaker 4: We'll see what happened.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Oh you didn't say the twats No, Okay, that's where
- 1:15Speaker 3: things get a little dicey. So two Jersey Jays with
- 1:20Speaker 3: Jackie and Jen will be providing listeners with a refreshing
- 1:23Speaker 3: and relatable twist on the reality of being a real housewife,
- 1:27Speaker 3: from menopause to making the most of your forties and fifties.
- 1:30Speaker 3: These two Jersey jays will explore the unfiltered, unapologetic and
- 1:36Speaker 3: often hilarious, hilarious realities of women who are chasing the
- 1:41Speaker 3: spark in life, finding love, and navigating deep friendships. Which
- 1:47Speaker 3: leads me kind of into some of the questions that
- 1:50Speaker 3: I have for you guys today. I'm excited for y'all's pod,
- 1:54Speaker 3: but first, we've got to do things Twat style.
- 1:57Speaker 2: You got it, Let's do it a little Twat style action.
- 2:00Speaker 3: You guys will be able to listen to this wherever
- 2:02Speaker 3: you listen to podcast on iHeartRadio, and it will be
- 2:06Speaker 3: on our twats feed, So make sure that you guys
- 2:08Speaker 3: keep tuning in. So we already covered Teresa not realizing
- 2:12Speaker 3: that you're actually doing a pod with us, but excited
- 2:14Speaker 3: that you're doing a pod. So, but are any of
- 2:18Speaker 3: the other Jersey housewives a little jelly?
- 2:22Speaker 5: I mean, I don't think that even if there was jealousy,
- 2:24Speaker 5: that they would let that show. I think as housewives,
- 2:28Speaker 5: you become very accustomed to a poker face. So I
- 2:31Speaker 5: don't know. I mean, everyone seems very happy for us.
- 2:34Speaker 4: I mean I know who hasn't congratulated me? Well, I
- 2:37Speaker 4: mean many people. I'll tell you who has Teresa and
- 2:41Speaker 4: Jen Ayden? Who else has?
- 2:43Speaker 5: Everybody has congratulated?
- 2:44Speaker 4: Oh Dolores.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Yeah, Oh I love Dolores like I love Dolores.
- 2:49Speaker 5: And I don't think they're jealous. We're first of all
- 2:51Speaker 5: they are.
- 2:51Speaker 4: I don't know if they're jealous.
- 2:52Speaker 5: O friends anyway, we're not housewives, so we have redefined
- 2:57Speaker 5: friends this season fair enough. But I mean I don't
- 2:59Speaker 5: know that they get so jealous of us and.
- 3:01Speaker 3: Jersey gets a hip, right, that's that's yeah, that's it.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Do you think either of you guys are going to
- 3:07Speaker 3: get hip this year?
- 3:08Speaker 5: I never heard that expression ever. Do you mean like
- 3:10Speaker 5: hold a tomato time?
- 3:12Speaker 2: Like yes, because you don't. You guys don't have a
- 3:15Speaker 2: prop you have just the hip.
- 3:16Speaker 4: Yeah. So I think their decisions are already made. I
- 3:19Speaker 4: guess anything could change, but no, because our families are
- 3:23Speaker 4: not as.
- 3:24Speaker 5: Much on it, right, Yeah, our families are definitely not
- 3:27Speaker 5: as much on it. But also I think maybe we
- 3:30Speaker 5: are the exception, not the rule. But I don't I'm
- 3:32Speaker 5: not dying necessarily to be a housewife, Like I'm thrilled
- 3:36Speaker 5: with the way.
- 3:37Speaker 4: That they like it on Miami.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Marisol and Adriana are just in the mix as much
- 3:43Speaker 3: as the actual housewife, So there isn't if you're in
- 3:47Speaker 3: it as a friend in a certain capacity, it doesn't
- 3:49Speaker 3: really matter.
- 3:49Speaker 4: Yeah, I think the friend roll like it's what you
- 3:51Speaker 4: do with it. Yeah, for sure.
- 3:53Speaker 5: It's also like a little less invasive right to not
- 3:56Speaker 5: have the cameras in your home quite as much and
- 3:59Speaker 5: in your person a story quite as.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Much, focusing on every little crumb of your life.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Right now that you're here and we were all in
- 4:09Speaker 3: the room together, there was a lot of speculation about
- 4:12Speaker 3: where everybody, how the panel switched, how are you close
- 4:17Speaker 3: with Teresa? Now, I need to know Jackie.
- 4:19Speaker 4: Well, I don't want to ruin it because it's actually
- 4:21Speaker 4: it happened very organically. Okay. It was not like, oh,
- 4:25Speaker 4: I mean people are saying like, oh, Jackie needed some relevance,
- 4:27Speaker 4: so she like switched to lines like that's ridiculous. I
- 4:30Speaker 4: don't need anything. Really, it's so stupid. But it's really
- 4:36Speaker 4: organic and I don't want to ruin it. But it
- 4:39Speaker 4: happened very naturally and authentically.
- 4:42Speaker 3: And are both of you guys in a good place
- 4:48Speaker 3: or not such a great place with Marge, you're.
- 4:51Speaker 5: Talking about us? Are you talking about Teresa and Jackie?
- 4:53Speaker 5: Because no them, are both of you guys, I'm in
- 4:55Speaker 5: a great place with Margaret?
- 4:56Speaker 3: Yes, okay, because my eagle eyes were looking around last
- 5:00Speaker 3: night and I didn't see much chatting.
- 5:02Speaker 4: Not me.
- 5:03Speaker 5: I'm not in a great place. They're definitely not in
- 5:05Speaker 5: a great place.
- 5:06Speaker 3: So how does she feel about you doing this podcast?
- 5:09Speaker 3: With Margaret has.
- 5:11Speaker 5: Always been nothing but supportive of me, no matter.
- 5:13Speaker 4: What it is, so everyone knows that me in general,
- 5:15Speaker 4: like sisters, she's no coming between us.
- 5:17Speaker 5: She had she has had nothing, but you know, wonderful
- 5:20Speaker 5: kind supported things to say about it to me.
- 5:23Speaker 3: All right, all right, can you explain a little bit
- 5:28Speaker 3: more of the backstory and you're not going to give
- 5:31Speaker 3: anything away, but the backstory on how the panel switched
- 5:34Speaker 3: so last minute though, go jack.
- 5:37Speaker 4: I think it was equal parts the fact that it
- 5:41Speaker 4: just didn't fit anymore, like my feud with Margaret was
- 5:44Speaker 4: all over the internet already, so it was equal parts
- 5:48Speaker 4: that and the fact that two of the other cast
- 5:51Speaker 4: members really don't get along and don't belong together. I
- 5:55Speaker 4: can't say anything about like what happened between them this season,
- 5:58Speaker 4: but Danielle and Jennifer don't get along, so it worked
- 6:05Speaker 4: for both of us to switch over.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Do you guys think that Danielle's a good housewife? Go
- 6:10Speaker 2: Jack No Seven to bitch. I do.
- 6:14Speaker 5: I think she's a very good housewife. Actually I do.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:18Speaker 4: She definitely puts it all out there.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Do you think in an authentic way?
- 6:22Speaker 5: Yes, one hundred.
- 6:24Speaker 2: I think Jack ying.
- 6:26Speaker 4: I think she's a hunt.
- 6:27Speaker 5: I think that's almost like to a fault, like she
- 6:29Speaker 5: can't hold her emotions back.
- 6:31Speaker 4: Yeah, can't hold her emotions back. We'll leave it there.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Do you think she has a true organic friendship with
- 6:37Speaker 3: anybody outside of I was.
- 6:40Speaker 4: Just asking, like, who is she hanging out with this weekend?
- 6:43Speaker 4: I don't know. I really don't know much about her.
- 6:46Speaker 2: And then what about Rachel?
- 6:48Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 6:48Speaker 4: I like Rachel?
- 6:49Speaker 5: You like Rachel.
- 6:50Speaker 4: Rachel's very close with Melissa.
- 6:52Speaker 2: And you're still fine with Melissa?
- 6:55Speaker 4: Yes, definitely not as close, but I'm fine with Melissa. Listen,
- 6:59Speaker 4: if we're to be honest, I think she doesn't like
- 7:02Speaker 4: that I'm close with Teresa Yeah, that's the honest truth.
- 7:05Speaker 4: And but you know she doesn't. She tries not to
- 7:07Speaker 4: let that show. But I think I think that's true.
- 7:21Speaker 3: And there's been a lot of speculation that this year
- 7:24Speaker 3: because you guys didn't even get a final trip. I know,
- 7:28Speaker 3: the house burned down or whatever, but that it means
- 7:33Speaker 3: that it's going to get a complete shake up, the
- 7:35Speaker 3: same way that New York did.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Do you believe any.
- 7:40Speaker 4: I wouldn't be shocked, but I don't. That's not what
- 7:43Speaker 4: my gut is telling me. I do think there's going
- 7:46Speaker 4: to be a cast change, but that's just you know,
- 7:48Speaker 4: I'm always wrong.
- 7:49Speaker 5: I was so sure of how things are going to
- 7:51Speaker 5: go down after last season, and I was clearly wrong
- 7:55Speaker 5: about everything that I was thinking.
- 7:57Speaker 3: So yeah, and then I have to ask you a
- 7:59Speaker 3: question because you said something last night, and I was
- 8:03Speaker 3: wondering how it actually affects you. Everybody in the room
- 8:07Speaker 3: essentially last night was talking about Ozempic. Yeah, when you
- 8:10Speaker 3: make jokes about Ozebec, Yeah, when Jen makes jokes about Zembach,
- 8:14Speaker 3: how does that make you feel?
- 8:15Speaker 4: I'm fine. I don't care who is on Ozembic. I
- 8:18Speaker 4: care about Ozempic itself. And what's going to end up
- 8:22Speaker 4: happening in a few years. God forbid they find that
- 8:25Speaker 4: it does have side of X because there's not long
- 8:27Speaker 4: term studies on it. And I just wonder all these
- 8:31Speaker 4: people who are newly really thin. I know what that
- 8:34Speaker 4: does to your mind, and like, you don't want to
- 8:36Speaker 4: go backwards. So what's going to happen if and when
- 8:39Speaker 4: these drugs are not available to use in a healthy
- 8:42Speaker 4: way anymore and suddenly you don't know what to do
- 8:45Speaker 4: in order to stay thin.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Yeah, And I mean I've had the same kind of
- 8:50Speaker 3: thoughts when it comes to a zembic.
- 8:51Speaker 2: I do what you want to do, whatever feels best
- 8:54Speaker 2: for you.
- 8:55Speaker 3: I just hope that anybody that is doing it is
- 8:57Speaker 3: also making other lifestyle change does that are sustainable, because
- 9:02Speaker 3: if all of a sudden it's taken away.
- 9:04Speaker 5: I'm definitely not making sustainable lifestyle changes at all. I
- 9:08Speaker 5: am eating, like the first time in my life, I'm
- 9:10Speaker 5: eating pizza and bagels and that's basically my mainstay. So
- 9:14Speaker 5: I'm not exercising that.
- 9:17Speaker 4: Just because then you have people don't want to think
- 9:19Speaker 4: about malnutrition. You don't really think about that, But if
- 9:22Speaker 4: you're not using your very small amount of food to
- 9:25Speaker 4: really like, well, but before.
- 9:27Speaker 5: I was just eating more pizza and bagels. It's not
- 9:30Speaker 5: like I was such a health nut before, right, I
- 9:32Speaker 5: was just eating more of bad foods.
- 9:35Speaker 4: Yeah, I just know there's a lot of muscle loss
- 9:38Speaker 4: that goes along, yes, And so as you get older,
- 9:41Speaker 4: it's not so good for you to lose muscle like that.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Does it make you feel yucky? Not that you're on it,
- 9:47Speaker 3: but the actual medication itself.
- 9:49Speaker 5: It doesn't make me feel yucky. My body is now
- 9:51Speaker 5: the body of like a ninety year old. Like it's okay,
- 9:54Speaker 5: No it's not. I'm not good.
- 9:55Speaker 4: I'm like, no, it's ninety year old.
- 9:57Speaker 5: No, it's there's nothing hot about it. I mean because
- 10:00Speaker 5: the muscle I know, does deteriorate. And my skin is
- 10:04Speaker 5: I have like like three asses, Like I have the ass,
- 10:07Speaker 5: and then there's a layer under the ass, and then
- 10:08Speaker 5: there's a layer like underneath that ass. It's just like
- 10:11Speaker 5: all the skin.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Just falls, you know what I meanin sandwich, it's.
- 10:14Speaker 5: A skin sandwich. But I just maybe I should give
- 10:17Speaker 5: a shit, but I just I don't.
- 10:19Speaker 4: I don't.
- 10:19Speaker 5: I'm fifty five years old. I'm not looking to get
- 10:21Speaker 5: into a bikini. Necessarily, so I'm not like I'm okay
- 10:25Speaker 5: with it.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:27Speaker 3: Can we talk a little bit about the newbies, Kyla
- 10:29Speaker 3: and Tiffany.
- 10:31Speaker 4: Yeah. I don't know that they have an official like
- 10:34Speaker 4: roll on the show. Yeah, but they were around a lot.
- 10:38Speaker 4: They were both great. Yeah, great.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Did they bring anything to it or they're just I.
- 10:42Speaker 5: Think that it was a very I think it was
- 10:44Speaker 5: a very awkward thing because they were, you know, in
- 10:48Speaker 5: some scenes not in others, So they weren't there when
- 10:52Speaker 5: the ship would hit the fan, but then they were
- 10:53Speaker 5: sort of there for the next scene. And what they're
- 10:56Speaker 5: I think was hard. Probably who were they friends? Who
- 10:58Speaker 5: did they come in as friends?
- 11:00Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 11:00Speaker 4: Kayla I think is friends with Danielle yep and Tiffany
- 11:06Speaker 4: also her cousin and Danielle are friends.
- 11:09Speaker 3: Do you think there's anyone on your cast that's headed
- 11:13Speaker 3: for us trouble?
- 11:14Speaker 4: I don't think so, I would tell you honestly, I
- 11:17Speaker 4: really don't think so.
- 11:18Speaker 3: No.
- 11:18Speaker 4: I think everyone's marriage is pretty strong. Yeah, I mean,
- 11:22Speaker 4: I would you think that somebody would answer that? On
- 11:24Speaker 4: Jersey I get a nice as it. Actually, I don't
- 11:27Speaker 4: really you think. I think everyone's everyone's spouse is really
- 11:31Speaker 4: they're like Champion on our show.
- 11:33Speaker 3: Is Jen Aiden's relationship called into question again this year?
- 11:38Speaker 4: I don't think so.
- 11:39Speaker 5: There are some snarky comments for sure, like in the
- 11:42Speaker 5: middle of fight there's like, you know, to just sort
- 11:45Speaker 5: of like nasty little digs. But no, her surely not,
- 11:49Speaker 5: like her marriage for real is not being.
- 11:51Speaker 3: There's going to be any drinks thrown this year at
- 11:53Speaker 3: Bravocon like last year in the Ganza.
- 11:55Speaker 4: Wor, It's not going to be Jen. If there is,
- 11:57Speaker 4: it's not going to be Jen. She she learned her lesson.
- 12:00Speaker 4: I think, who do you think would throw a drink?
- 12:02Speaker 4: If there was one person? I mean, based on history,
- 12:05Speaker 4: I would say Danielle.
- 12:08Speaker 3: Okay, who has the most emotional season on Jersey this year?
- 12:15Speaker 5: That's a great I think, well, there's it's really hard to,
- 12:19Speaker 5: you know, pick one because it is a crazy I
- 12:22Speaker 5: know they said that every season.
- 12:23Speaker 4: It's the same, it is the same level.
- 12:26Speaker 5: Teresa, Danielle, Margaret Jackie, everybody.
- 12:31Speaker 4: Everybody gets emotional in fights. Who has the most emotional season?
- 12:36Speaker 4: That not me? Definitely not Jet.
- 12:39Speaker 5: You seem like a lot just I'm trying. I mean
- 12:42Speaker 5: it's not easy. Fine, No, I got into it more
- 12:44Speaker 5: this season than I did last season. Like last season
- 12:46Speaker 5: was I felt like I just kind of got to
- 12:48Speaker 5: be like the comic relief.
- 12:49Speaker 2: Yeah, so now you've popped your cherry.
- 12:51Speaker 5: I popped my cherry.
- 12:53Speaker 4: She has an emotional season because not only is she
- 12:55Speaker 4: feuding with like other castmates, but you know, it's a
- 12:59Speaker 4: real her brother. And I think that she's I mean,
- 13:04Speaker 4: a piece of heart. Just from where I sit. I
- 13:06Speaker 4: think she's sad about it, you know.
- 13:09Speaker 3: And do you think I mean, I know I've already
- 13:11Speaker 3: heard that they get into it at the finale, Like
- 13:13Speaker 3: it was pretty much two separate sets of filming the
- 13:15Speaker 3: entire season until the end, and there was a big blowout.
- 13:18Speaker 3: Do we think in the history of Jersey we are
- 13:21Speaker 3: ever going to see the reconciliation of those two families?
- 13:25Speaker 4: I would say no. I mean, I'm a betting girl.
- 13:27Speaker 5: I'm betting. No, Like I don't, I don't think.
- 13:31Speaker 2: So that's tough. Yeah, sad, that's really tough. Yeah, that's
- 13:36Speaker 2: why having your family on the show.
- 13:39Speaker 4: Yeah, that's why I'm not like pushing for like the
- 13:42Speaker 4: full time thing. Ever. Again, I have four teenagers. They're
- 13:46Speaker 4: used to their privacy. Again, Evans used to like stepping
- 13:49Speaker 4: in and stepping out when he needs to, you know,
- 13:52Speaker 4: like it works for my family because I you know Jersey,
- 13:56Speaker 4: it's tough on families.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:58Speaker 3: Was there anyone last night that you got at the
- 14:00Speaker 3: Twatz party that you guys loved meeting that you hadn't
- 14:03Speaker 3: met before.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Who did you think was fun?
- 14:05Speaker 5: I mean, I was it for me? It was again
- 14:08Speaker 5: like I don't know any of these people. I've been
- 14:10Speaker 5: watching them. I feel like I know them because I've
- 14:12Speaker 5: been watching them and I've been watching their their lives
- 14:14Speaker 5: and their families for years. So each time I turned around,
- 14:17Speaker 5: I was like, holy shit, I was like dying. So
- 14:21Speaker 5: I mean all of them, I mean from Charay to
- 14:26Speaker 5: Whitney Rose too. I mean there was everybody was here.
- 14:29Speaker 5: It was you know, so many that I've met.
- 14:32Speaker 4: I've met everyone. But I have to say, Chanelle Ion's
- 14:34Speaker 4: energy oh so fucking good. I like, I'm sorry, I cursed, curse,
- 14:39Speaker 4: I'm amazing. Like I wanted to stay by her side
- 14:42Speaker 4: all night.
- 14:42Speaker 5: Oh and and I THO liked that about Gerdy too,
- 14:45Speaker 5: But I was.
- 14:46Speaker 3: In the room so much I did barely even got
- 14:48Speaker 3: to see Gerty. So I've bummed about that because it
- 14:52Speaker 3: Chanelle was banging down the podcast or all night. All right,
- 14:56Speaker 3: you guys each have to spind the wheel. There's no
- 14:58Speaker 3: plead the fifth. You have to answer the question no
- 15:00Speaker 3: matter what.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Okay, you have to push it hard.
- 15:03Speaker 3: I have to like when you spend it, spend it hard.
- 15:05Speaker 3: If not, it'll only go one little thing, one out
- 15:08Speaker 3: of time. So you'll take this one. Okay, Oh, what
- 15:14Speaker 3: housewife bank account do you want?
- 15:16Speaker 4: Very easy? I'll take Sutton for fifty dollars please.
- 15:23Speaker 2: You know what me too? That three hundred thousand dollars
- 15:26Speaker 2: a month's very nice.
- 15:27Speaker 4: I can live on that. You really so sorry?
- 15:28Speaker 2: Why am I.
- 15:29Speaker 4: Spinning for you?
- 15:30Speaker 5: Because our away and hold on? Okay, that's about as
- 15:34Speaker 5: much energy to have. It's the exempic. If you could
- 15:39Speaker 5: pick a cast trip to what if you could pay location? Oh,
- 15:44Speaker 5: if you could pick it, I'll tell you where it
- 15:46Speaker 5: wouldn't be. It wouldn't be the berkshears. Yeah, so that
- 15:49Speaker 5: was not I wasn't like.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Whoohoo, does anyone get physical this year?
- 15:53Speaker 4: I'm going to plead the fifth on that. I didn't
- 15:54Speaker 4: spend the wheel on that. So I'm going to plead
- 15:56Speaker 4: the fifth.
- 15:56Speaker 2: You know what, you could just do I'm your producer,
- 15:58Speaker 2: and yet I look it, my boss.
- 16:02Speaker 5: I would want it, mommy. Well, if I could pick anywhere,
