Marlins Should Keep Alcantara | Miami Marlins News
The Miami Marlins are hot, sitting just four games behind the Braves with a 26-11 record since June—making trade talk about Cy Young winner Sandy Alcantara a non-starter. Analysts agree: with Alcantara healthy, throwing 97 mph, and posting a sub-4 ERA, he’s exactly what they need for October. Instead of shipping him out, the Marlins should focus on bolstering their bullpen. Alcantara’s durability and playoff-caliber stuff make him a must-keep as they chase a deep postseason run.
