- 0:06SPEAKER_03: And I was I'm just asking, I'm like because I this stems from the fact yesterday I wanted to I wanted to have Tiffany have a day where she didn't have to think about coming upstairs, cleaning the house, because usually Sunday at four o'clock is when she starts, and I'm like, really?
- 0:21SPEAKER_03: But I'm trying to wind down.
- 0:23SPEAKER_03: She terrorizes through and it always looks great.
- 0:26SPEAKER_03: It really does.
- 0:26SPEAKER_03: I mean, she's excellent at doing it.
- 0:28SPEAKER_03: She wasn't feeling good.
- 0:29SPEAKER_03: So I'm like, all right, I'm gonna get to it.
- 0:30SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 0:30SPEAKER_03: So now what happens is now I'm the one that because I've done it, and it's not like I haven't done it before, but because I've done it, now I'm bringing the kids into the bathroom and I'm going, You see this?
- 0:41SPEAKER_03: This is clean, and we're gonna keep it clean, and I haven't moved my teeth apart from each other in five minutes.
- 0:47SPEAKER_02: My mom would say the exact same thing.
- 0:49SPEAKER_02: And then when we would mess it up in an hour or two.
- 0:51SPEAKER_03: No, by Wednesday it'll be shot.
- 0:53SPEAKER_03: She's like, Did you not hear what I said?
- 0:56SPEAKER_03: So, at any rate, I and I noticed this out of the two, Gavin's the the neat one.
- 1:01SPEAKER_02: We we just using Q-tips to clean.
- 1:04SPEAKER_02: I think he's good.
- 1:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:05SPEAKER_03: He was cleaning up the toothpaste with q-tips.
- 1:08SPEAKER_02: I'm surprised you don't have hot fudge on your on your countertops and mirrors with Lydia.
- 1:12SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
- 1:13SPEAKER_02: She is just she's the sloppy girl, God bless her.
- 1:16SPEAKER_02: Does it get better?
- 1:17SPEAKER_02: Wait, let's take a listen to 3096.
- 1:21SPEAKER_03: Oh, here I got it.
- 1:22SPEAKER_01: Good luck with that, Scott, because my daughter did not start picking up and being conscious of leaving the lights on until she had her own place.
- 1:33SPEAKER_01: And now when I go over, I make sure I leave my soda cans around and the lights on, and she's always yelling at me, going, hmm, really?
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: The electric bill.
- 1:43SPEAKER_01: Well, wait till they get out of the house.
- 1:45SPEAKER_02: Scott, you got a long way to go.
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: That's a little bit of a road in front of me on that one.
- 1:50SPEAKER_03: Jeez.
- 1:51SPEAKER_03: Three, two, one.
- 1:53SPEAKER_03: You're listening to Scott and Allie.
- 1:55SPEAKER_03: Scott and Allie's big three.
- 1:57SPEAKER_03: I always thought the girls were the ones that suddenly, like, uh, like, you know, like, I don't know, when puberty hits, they're like, let's make sure things are clean.
- 2:03SPEAKER_02: No, and that's when you get makeup into the mix, too.
- 2:07SPEAKER_02: Where it gets real messy.
- 2:09SPEAKER_02: Anyway, big three brought to you by ENV Energy.
- 2:12SPEAKER_02: Make sure you call them and actually talk to a real person about your heating options, including delivering without an extra fee to your home farm or business.
- 2:22SPEAKER_02: Now let's get down to business with the big three.
- 2:24SPEAKER_02: President Trump says he plans to create a new AI force and appoint an AI czar as his administration looks for ways to oversee this artificial intelligence without slowing its growth.
- 2:36SPEAKER_02: But he announced the plan Saturday while continuing to kind of dismiss warnings about the possible dangers of AI.
- 2:43SPEAKER_02: And Ed Sheeran apologized for tour controversy on his first stop since Macklemore dropped.
- 2:49SPEAKER_02: So the music superstar was in Philly on Saturday.
- 2:52SPEAKER_02: I actually have some audio of this that I want to play.
- 2:55SPEAKER_02: He had no opening acts, which was Macklemore, no guest band.
- 2:58SPEAKER_02: They left in solidarity with Macklemore.
- 3:01SPEAKER_02: And Sheeran told his audience, I'm making mistakes.
- 3:03SPEAKER_02: I'm so sorry.
- 3:04SPEAKER_02: But let me play you that.
- 3:06SPEAKER_02: Let me let me pull that up really quick.
- 3:08SPEAKER_02: Here you go.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: I honestly am so grateful that you're here tonight with me.
- 3:15SPEAKER_02: He's getting choked up.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: This this concert is still a place where everyone is welcome, and everyone here can stand beside people that have opposing views, and everyone here can stand by people that they don't agree with on everything, but they can all agree on singing these songs.
- 3:39SPEAKER_03: There was a point.
- 3:40SPEAKER_03: I I saw I heard another piece of his speech.
- 3:43SPEAKER_03: And these songs are about love.
- 3:45SPEAKER_03: I read another piece of his speech on stage, and he did kind of lean a little bit into the we're going to use the term atrocities that are happening uh in that region.
- 3:59SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I can even give you I can give you actual quotes.
- 4:02SPEAKER_02: So he told the crowd this is a humanitarian issue, and I cannot hide how I feel about it anymore.
- 4:07SPEAKER_02: He also did say the events in Gaza are catastrophic, unjustifiable.
- 4:13SPEAKER_02: And um Can I can I make it?
- 4:15SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna I'm gonna come right out and I'm gonna say it.
- 4:17SPEAKER_03: Yeah, go ahead.
- 4:18SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 4:18SPEAKER_03: We are, if you look at the Scott and Alley show, we are what you would call an infotainment show.
- 4:23SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 4:24SPEAKER_03: Some of the stuff is information, some of it's entertainment, some of it's meant to be humorous, some of it's sarcasm, some of it, there's a whole mixed bag here.
- 4:31SPEAKER_03: Okay?
- 4:31SPEAKER_03: This is a platform that we wouldn't even do it, but we could if we decided to, but we're not gonna.
- 4:38SPEAKER_03: Can't artists just go play their friggin' music that I spent 170 bucks for and just do your show.
- 4:46SPEAKER_03: If I wanted your political views, then book them on, I don't know, Fox News for one of their sit-on-the-couch moments or CNN or or or or 60 minutes.
- 4:57SPEAKER_03: I you know what, if I'm paying 150 bucks, it's not that I don't necessarily agree with what you have to say.
- 5:03SPEAKER_03: I don't want to be preached to by you when I'm paying that kind of money because I want to see you play thrift shop.
- 5:10SPEAKER_03: I don't need to hear your opinion on it.
- 5:12SPEAKER_03: And it's not that I may not agree with you, I'm just here for a good time.
- 5:16SPEAKER_02: So let me I'll I'll say two things.
- 5:18SPEAKER_02: The first one is Ed Sheeran is on your side of it by saying never he never wanted to be an activist musician.
- 5:26SPEAKER_02: But then I also think that and oh, and by the way, Dolly Parton took that stance as well.
- 5:33SPEAKER_03: On stage.
- 5:34SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 5:34SPEAKER_02: She always said, I had opinions, but I don't want to uh I I have people who come to my shows who are gay, who are drag queens and chan transgender, but also who are like Pentecostal holy rollers.
- 5:47SPEAKER_02: So she felt the same way.
- 5:49SPEAKER_02: And I don't know if you ever heard that little bit where she was on stage with Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin and they were bashing the current administration, and Dolly said, I'm just not gonna do it.
- 5:59SPEAKER_02: I won't, I can't, I I'm not here to be that.
- 6:02SPEAKER_03: That's not where this platform is.
- 6:04SPEAKER_03: Now, if you want to be uh an activist, U2's a huge activist, okay?
- 6:09SPEAKER_03: They've they've done all sorts of you know different you know events.
- 6:13SPEAKER_03: If it's an event for something, if it's an event to end hunger, if it's an event specific to help Palestine, and you've bought tickets because it's that event, fine.
- 6:27SPEAKER_03: But if it's just a random concert of Ed Sheeran in Philadelphia or Boston or whatever, and I just wanted to go see Ed, and the cost of the ticket price was a fortune, play your music, give me a good show.
- 6:39SPEAKER_03: I don't need your political views.
- 6:41SPEAKER_03: See you bye.
- 6:42SPEAKER_02: And that's funny because this is all coming up.
- 6:44SPEAKER_02: It wasn't like it was set at a show, it was set on social media.
- 6:47SPEAKER_03: No, McLamore came right out on the mic at the show and did this.
- 6:51SPEAKER_03: That's why they got kicked out of Gillette Stadium.
- 6:53SPEAKER_02: Oh, I thought he only did it on social.
- 6:55SPEAKER_03: No, he had the mic in hand and did it at the crowd.
- 6:58SPEAKER_02: Oh, because I but then I also look at it the other way to look at it is we're all people and we're all multifaceted and have opinions, and it's I I don't want to stop you from being a person.
- 7:09SPEAKER_02: Well, I understand you sing thrift shop and I love that, but I also am okay that you have a political stance too.
- 7:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but I don't need it there.
- 7:18SPEAKER_03: I mean, uh if you did a show and you said, we are going to support Palestine here at this concert.
- 7:24SPEAKER_02: All right, this is a Palestinian fundraiser.
- 7:26SPEAKER_03: This is a Palestinian fundraiser.
- 7:28SPEAKER_03: You can go off all you want.
- 7:29SPEAKER_03: Uh-huh.
- 7:30SPEAKER_03: Maybe some people buy tickets, maybe they don't.
- 7:32SPEAKER_03: Whatever, that's fine.
- 7:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 7:33SPEAKER_03: I guess it depends how bad you want to see or believe in the cause, you know, or see the act.
- 7:38SPEAKER_03: Both things right there.
- 7:39SPEAKER_03: If you really want to see Malcolmore Ed Shear it and you really believe in the cause, you'll buy that.
- 7:43SPEAKER_03: If you really want to feed the world, you're gonna go see you too.
- 7:46SPEAKER_03: If you really you know what That's true.
- 7:48SPEAKER_03: It's so you've got to always feeding the world, but just a random show like that, and McLamore knew what he was doing.
- 7:54SPEAKER_03: He had let's say a captive audience.
- 7:56SPEAKER_03: Yes, he had 60,000 people there, and it's like, I just paid, and I'm saying$150.
- 8:01SPEAKER_03: It could have been twice that for those tickets.
- 8:04SPEAKER_03: I don't need it.
- 8:05SPEAKER_03: I came, I'm paying the money to go see that.
- 8:07SPEAKER_03: Uh-huh.
- 8:08SPEAKER_03: Now, if you want to do a special show, okay, do a special show.
- 8:12SPEAKER_03: That's totally fine.
- 8:13SPEAKER_02: That's actually not a bad idea for him to do a special show.
- 8:18SPEAKER_02: Well, because now he had he knows that he has the support because I think Macklemore's not that his career is dead, it was just not where it once was.
- 8:28SPEAKER_03: It could be anybody.
- 8:28SPEAKER_03: I'm using this situation as an example.
- 8:31SPEAKER_03: It could be Olivia Rodrigo.
- 8:33SPEAKER_03: I'm paying$300 to bring my daughter for one ticket.
- 8:36SPEAKER_03: I want you to do your show.
- 8:38SPEAKER_03: I want you to do it great, and I want it, I want that memory.
- 8:41SPEAKER_03: I don't need other stuff.
- 8:43SPEAKER_02: I I hear you.
- 8:44SPEAKER_03: Not not there, unless you specifically host that event.
- 8:48SPEAKER_02: He should.
- 8:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he should.
- 8:49SPEAKER_02: Uh, one more thing that I have in the big three.
- 8:51SPEAKER_02: If you would have invested in Home Depot a long time ago, you would be a millionaire.
- 8:56SPEAKER_02: The highest returning stock in the SP 500 is Home Depot.
- 9:02SPEAKER_02: According to the Wall Street Journal.
- 9:03SPEAKER_03: I've missed out every money-making opportunity.
- 9:06SPEAKER_03: If you would have invested Apple.
- 9:09SPEAKER_02: Let me give you an example.
- 9:10SPEAKER_02: If you would have invested$1,000 into Home Depot stock in 1981, that's you know, like the start of the company.
- 9:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 9:17SPEAKER_02: And then now it would be worth$16 million.
- 9:22SPEAKER_02: Well, I know.
- 9:24SPEAKER_02: That's how popular.
- 9:25SPEAKER_02: Just hanging here with the poor people.
- 9:27SPEAKER_02: No, me too.
- 9:29SPEAKER_02: There's the big three.
