  Speaker 1: We saw the first game of the season tonight. It

  Speaker 1: just happened to fall on the night that we were

  Speaker 1: recording the season preview, Philadelphia seventy six Ers beating the
• 4:47
  Speaker 1: Boston Celtics by a score of one hundred and seventeen
• 4:50
  Speaker 1: to one hundred and sixteen. Quite frankly, I couldn't believe

  Speaker 1: they went up to TD Bank Arena and just free

  Speaker 1: and won this thing. Not to mention VJ. Edgecomb scoring

  Speaker 1: thirty four points franchise record right out of the gate,

  Speaker 1: Tyrese Maxi.

  Speaker 2: With forty points.

  Speaker 1: Holy cow, these two guys were amazing to watch. But

  Speaker 1: wanted to throw it out there. Yes, we usually do

  Speaker 2: Yeah, I think some takeaways from the Again, it's one game, right,

  Speaker 2: Like just some things I noticed that are good and bad,

  Speaker 2: would say, because there's some things that happened tonight that

  Speaker 2: are not going to happen all the time, right, Like

  Speaker 2: things that jumped out, I'm like, oh no, we're in

  Speaker 2: trouble in that department. You know. With today's league, it's

  Speaker 2: a heavy, heavy guard league. You saw the Pacers last

  Speaker 2: year we did with not Myles Turner, but like essentially
• 5:59
  Speaker 2: kind of a guard team. Jalen Brunson is one of

  Speaker 2: the best players in the league. Like, it's a very
• 6:04
  Speaker 2: guard centric league. And I have two guys that are strong,

  Speaker 2: fast and play with a chip on their shoulder. Yeah,

  Speaker 2: athletic as hell. Like that that is key in the league. Now,

  Speaker 2: you saw it tonight, just seventy four points between Maxie

  Speaker 2: and Edgecombe. It was just in the way they attack too, y, Like,

  Speaker 2: you know, it's the Celtics aren't strong defensively, you know,

  Speaker 2: they're not the strongest defensive team. But still, like I

  Speaker 2: was so happy to see Edgecombe in the first quarter,

  Speaker 2: just go right at the rim. He went right at

  Speaker 2: the Celtics Center once or twice early on, and I

  Speaker 2: was like, oh shit, okay, this guy's he's a rookie.

  Speaker 2: a text rd with a bunch of Sixers fans and

  Speaker 2: we were we were pointing out, like people were saying,

  Speaker 2: a Dwayne Wade. And Dwayne Wade's an all timer, you know,

  Speaker 2: top whatever player ever. But this kid does play like him.

  Speaker 2: of Dwayne Wade, he was so fast and athletic and

  Speaker 2: plays just like him. I'm not saying he's going to

  Speaker 2: be Dwayne Wade, but like to even have that in

  Speaker 2: right now struggle mightily against the Spurs. Edgecomb looks like

  Speaker 2: high level in the NBA. It's his first game, but

  Speaker 2: like just some of the intangibles that came through, you know,

  Speaker 2: through watching, I was like, Okay, we made the right pick.

  Speaker 2: Like that, this guy like is perfect for this team.

  Speaker 1: There was a natural flow of the game that he

  Speaker 1: had like that that was very, very prevalent for me

  Speaker 1: in the in the areas of the game that I

  Speaker 1: saw and I'm thinking to myself, my gosh, Eric, you

  Speaker 1: bought an Edgecomb T shirt. Thank goodness, it wasn't a jersey.

  Speaker 1: I mean, people know on the show, if I bought

  Speaker 1: your jersey in the past, your career was cooked donely.

  Speaker 1: that first month of Maxie season in the NBA with

  Speaker 1: the Sixers, we were like, holy crap, Like, man, his

  Speaker 1: aggressiveness is amazing. And I don't know if it's some
