- 1:29SPEAKER_00: You're not burnt out.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: Your nervous system is regulated.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: And it's just really cool just to see.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: I love bringing on people's like perspectives, other people other than me who can provide you guys with value.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: And it's always so interesting whenever I bring people on.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: We have some of the same belief systems, like a lot of them.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: And I think it's no coincidence, right?
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: So this episode is just going to be really fun, really value-packed.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: It's gonna give you the tangible steps.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: And yeah, let's go ahead and get into it.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: Let's meet Candace.
- 1:59SPEAKER_01: So much of my work is in freeing you mentally and financially.
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: So we simplify the way coaches make more money while working less, utilizing freedom strategies, energetics, business model, and alignment.
- 2:14SPEAKER_01: So I'm obsessed.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: Okay, I already know what I want to dive into because I think if there's one thing when I look at, you know, you, your offerings, the type of content you have, it's this three-hour workday.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: And I think for a lot of people, a three-hour workday, vibe.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: Like, yeah, we can do more.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: And yes, but like just the fact that you know, you talk about freedom, you don't have to be in a nine to five working night.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: You can have a three-hour workday.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: Like you're also a mom.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: I think that's also like a lot of moms even want that time back.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: So can you just dive into like this three-hour workday, your your beliefs around it, you know, how the like how it's possible, like you know, just dive into the three hours.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: Let's open it up.
- 2:59SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: Oh boy, there's so much to it, but so little to it.
- 3:03SPEAKER_01: Honestly, simplification.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: Simplification.
- 3:06SPEAKER_01: So when I started my online business, I was already a mom.
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: And I had a oh my gosh, how old were they?
- 3:13SPEAKER_01: So my kids are eight and four.
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: So they would have been one and three, three and a half, four, three and a half, one and three and a half-ish.
- 3:23SPEAKER_01: And I was like, I already knew freedom was a huge thing.
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: That's been something that's been so undeniable for me my entire life.
- 3:31SPEAKER_01: Just like that, and you guys get it, that deep inner knowing.
- 3:33SPEAKER_01: Like I just knew.
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: And when I had closed my in-person business for like physical reasons and injuries, and knew I was coming online, that was like a big thing I was after.
- 3:45SPEAKER_01: I'm sure so many people resonate that.
- 3:46SPEAKER_01: We start a business because we want freedom.
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: But we ended up getting really busy and I fell into that trap, right?
- 3:53SPEAKER_01: And I got myself pretty misaligned.
- 3:55SPEAKER_01: I had a lot of shoulds and beliefs that honestly weren't mine that I was picking up and carrying as my own, as I'm sure some of you have experienced.
- 4:06SPEAKER_01: But what came down to the three-hour day was what's actually freaking needed.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: Like cut the bullshit.
- 4:13SPEAKER_01: Like, what's needed?
- 4:14SPEAKER_01: And so much of what I see my clients doing when they come to me is not actually necessary.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: And it usually creates a little bit more complication, a little bit more busy, which actually usually takes from our creative powers, right?
- 4:29SPEAKER_01: And our ability to truly like dive into what we want to be diving into with the quality and the energy that we want to be holding and having when we're doing those things.
- 4:37SPEAKER_01: So that was a really big piece for me.
- 4:40SPEAKER_01: So when it came down to implementing this, it was a matter of being really specific on a couple of moving pieces in my business, which is in any business, like your daily method of operations and what's in place to support that.
- 4:56SPEAKER_01: So for me, it came down to making sure and restructuring honestly my entire business to support how I wanted my day to look.
- 5:04SPEAKER_01: Because I mean, I have some clients that work, you know, two hours and some that would rather afford a five-hour day, right?
- 5:09SPEAKER_01: And it all depends on their energy type and it all depends on how they want that day-to-day to be.
- 5:15SPEAKER_01: I just really valued being there at drop off in the morning, being there at pickup, being able to take the day and have the day if I wanted to have the day.
- 5:22SPEAKER_01: Like there were so many things that I really wanted because I'm unwilling to settle in any area of my life.
- 5:28SPEAKER_01: So this just really worked for me.
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: And the more I seen projector here, I know you get this.
- 5:35SPEAKER_01: The more I sat back and like actually looked at what was happening, right?
- 5:39SPEAKER_01: Having that bird's eye view, I'm like, that's not needed, that's not needed, that's a belief, that's a belief.
- 5:44SPEAKER_01: And I was able to really start to restructure what I do every single day.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: So my daily method of operations and make sure that that was in alignment with how my business was structured and set up to be running.
- 5:54SPEAKER_01: So it comes down to what is actually needed to move the needle in your business, what's actually needed from an energetic standpoint for yourself, and what's needed on the day-to-day inside your business, not just move like needle moving tasks, but client support.
- 6:10SPEAKER_01: Like, how are your offers set up to support your clients and how does that support your energy as well?
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: I think a lot of people, and I used to do this back in the day, you get stuck in working in your business, and like you could fill 12 hours a day with like shoulds and doing this, and I don't know if you're like you could fill actually probably 24 hours a day working like in your business, like doing tasks that may not even be required.
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: And I think, and I've seen this a lot too, people you're doing things that just are not required, and like something they don't work, but they're also just not required, yeah, or necessary, and that's yeah, they're not necessarily not required, like there is a different way.
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and I guess the question I want to dive into more with you, so you kind of did this from the beginning.
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: So, like, what's your perspective on like, oh yeah, you work three hours now because of like where you are, versus like I'm starting out, quote unquote, you know, I need to hustle grind 10, 12 hours a day.
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: What would you say to that?
- 7:11SPEAKER_01: That that's all a belief, and that you've allowed yourself to believe it.
- 7:15SPEAKER_01: So that's why I honestly believe that you can't financially become free until you mentally free yourself, because so much, and you know this, so much of what we carry is beliefs and energetics.
- 7:25SPEAKER_01: So it really is about your perspective going into it.
- 7:29SPEAKER_01: And I think that that sets, that's like kind of what sets my world apart is when you come in, we really are making sure that that's really crystal clear.
- 7:36SPEAKER_01: And from there, you're clear on what's actually needed.
- 7:38SPEAKER_01: So you're not going and getting into like overconsuming and jumping from you know freebie to freebie and little masterclass to master class.
- 7:44SPEAKER_01: It's like, I know exactly what to do and I know where to focus.
- 7:47SPEAKER_01: And then about it's about your leadership, your ability to keep your binders on, your ability to actually discern what's important and what's actually for you and what's not as you as you go grow, as you scale.
- 8:00SPEAKER_01: But we've had many clients come the very early stages and then also, you know, a few years in and rather successful.
- 8:07SPEAKER_01: And we are able to like tweak things, implement our business model, shift what their daily method of operations looks like, and really start to get that time back, right?
- 8:17SPEAKER_01: While making more income.
- 8:18SPEAKER_01: So the big piece would be for me was my philosophy of like a high quality life that supports a high quality business and feeds a high quality result.
- 8:28SPEAKER_01: And that was something that I carried with me through and through.
- 8:33SPEAKER_01: If it didn't align with that, we weren't doing it.
- 8:36SPEAKER_01: If it wasn't necessary, I wasn't doing it.
- 8:38SPEAKER_01: So that was probably yeah, the biggest, the biggest component was allowing myself to hold that and stay like connected to that mission, my sole mission, I called it, and operating from there every decision that I made.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: I think that's really important that you mentioned staying anchored, because I think what happens, people think, all right, I'm gonna try this three-hour workday and I'm gonna do it today, or like do it for two days, and then when they don't get the instant gratification of like, oh, it's working, they default into hustle mode.
- 9:07SPEAKER_00: It's like, well, I did three hours today and I didn't get a sale or make it, so it's not working.
- 9:11SPEAKER_00: And I'm just like, no, you just didn't hold like the gap and through it, and you're like a little kid who didn't get its cookie right away.
- 9:20SPEAKER_01: That's so true.
- 9:22SPEAKER_01: Also, want to like preference, I think this is so important for everybody to understand.
- 9:26SPEAKER_01: It doesn't matter if you make yourself sit down somewhere and work for eight hours because I've done that, right?
- 9:31SPEAKER_01: I I went that route for a very short period.
- 9:34SPEAKER_01: I've had many clients come from that route, or sit down for one to two very intentional hours where you actually know what's needed to get something done.
- 9:43SPEAKER_01: It's the same things that are gonna get the quote unquote the sales.
- 9:46SPEAKER_01: It doesn't matter how long you sit there, girlfriend.
- 9:50SPEAKER_01: It really doesn't.
- 9:51SPEAKER_01: The rest you're doing, you're just exhausting yourself at that point, in my opinion.
- 9:56SPEAKER_01: And I think that that can take it can take from client results, it can take from your own quality of life, it can take from your aliveness behind your business.
- 10:03SPEAKER_01: Like, how many people do we know that resent their business and resent what they're doing because they're so exhausted?
- 10:10SPEAKER_01: And I really don't believe that that's necessary.
- 10:13SPEAKER_00: Or like they left one, like their job to become, you know, yes, business, but you're probably working just as much, if not more.
- 10:20SPEAKER_00: If not more, you're creating your own like conditions and you're creating that house that you live in, and then like you said, it dampens your magnetism, it dampens your creativity, it dampens all of these things.
- 10:32SPEAKER_00: And you also mentioned the noise, which I feel like you know, we've both been in business for a while, so maybe like our conjection of the noise we can discern.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: But I think someone who's not as maybe like versed in it can get really distracted by the noise because there's so much clearly about what you should or shouldn't do in your business, in this and that.
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: How do you find that like you stay in your zone without the noise?
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: Because you're very like no simple versus there are other people who you offer, you offer, do this, and do this, and that might work for them, but you are also very simple.
- 11:08SPEAKER_00: And I love that you are an example of this simple.
- 11:11SPEAKER_00: So, how do you kind of like yeah, stay in your own lane, have your blinders on and not get distracted by the noise?
- 11:17SPEAKER_01: I love this because this is what we know, it's huge.
- 11:20SPEAKER_01: Okay, so one of my beliefs is that nothing is wrong and nothing is right.
- 11:26SPEAKER_01: It's it's literally what you choose to believe.
- 11:29SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, we already knew this.
- 11:31SPEAKER_01: So if we know that, so for example, that's embodied in me.
- 11:36SPEAKER_01: I know that.
- 11:36SPEAKER_01: Like, I I actually know that when I'm picking up anything, anything that I'm consuming, I'm like, cool, that's what's true for them.
- 11:45SPEAKER_01: So I am there anchor anchored in my truth, my belief.
- 11:48SPEAKER_01: It gets to actually be really simple.
- 11:50SPEAKER_01: The more alive I am, the more money I make.
- 11:52SPEAKER_01: Like the more time I have to nourish myself, the more I can actually nourish my business, and more I can bring that overflow to my children, to my impact, to my income, whatever the case is, my relationships.
- 12:01SPEAKER_01: But how I discern it and how I actually just really don't even say available for it is understanding that that's their truth.
- 12:10SPEAKER_01: And that's cool, and that's their belief, and it's not wrong and it's not right, and it's the same as mine.
- 12:14SPEAKER_01: Like I'm not, I know that I'm not for everybody, and that's totally fair.
- 12:19SPEAKER_01: But this is what's really true for me, and this is what I believe.
- 12:24SPEAKER_01: So that's that little motto, let's call it, life belief, has really supported me in just staying accountable to my route.
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: I think what you said about like the highest truth is so important because we and maybe you've done this as well.
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: I've been there have been times my business where I've consumed so many different strategies from so many different people, and it's like, oh, it made them like million-dollar months or made them this and then that, and then you do it and you're like, it doesn't work, and it's not that like it doesn't work, it's that it was working for them and their energy type and how they did it, and you can't necessarily extrapolate it like for you, and so you actually have to find what's in alignment for you, not necessarily just consuming what worked for someone else if it's not in resonance with your alignment.
- 13:15SPEAKER_01: Absolutely, and that's to me, that's also a should.
- 13:18SPEAKER_01: Like you're picking up these strategies, trying to reverse engineer in your own mind, okay?
- 13:22SPEAKER_01: So, like already yawning, and it's like, okay, now I'm doing this from a place of like, okay, well, I should be doing this because that's how she did it, and she created that.
- 13:32SPEAKER_01: So should, should, should, and you're shooting all over yourself.
- 13:35SPEAKER_01: So of course it feels exhausting, of course it's not working.
- 13:38SPEAKER_01: Like it's not actually true for how you want to operate.
- 13:40SPEAKER_01: And I feel like because of the noise, we start to lose touch of like, what do what do I actually want?
- 13:47SPEAKER_01: How do I actually want to operate?
- 13:49SPEAKER_01: I will ask clients, I'm like, what do you want your data look like?
- 13:51SPEAKER_01: Oh we kind of need to go there, right?
- 13:56SPEAKER_01: We're just so used to consuming, consuming, and really lost touch of that.
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: And like the fact that it's something external to us, and I think it's more you can be exposed to things and learn things, but then you actually have to discern if it's in truth and if it's in alignment for you.
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, absolutely.
- 14:13SPEAKER_00: I don't I don't think enough people are doing that.
- 14:16SPEAKER_00: Absolutely not.
- 14:17SPEAKER_00: And that even gives you like to me, that's just as valuable.
- 14:22SPEAKER_00: Yes, like knowing how isn't in resonance is just as valuable as finding something that is in resonance.
- 14:27SPEAKER_00: Even in your if you're in mentorship and someone says something and it's not in resonance, A, check like, are you just in resistance?
- 14:33SPEAKER_00: But B, you may not want to do it the same way they want to do it, or use the same language or have the same this.
- 14:39SPEAKER_00: But I think learning what you don't want is also just as important as what you do want.
- 14:44SPEAKER_01: How freeing is that, right?
- 14:45SPEAKER_01: To actually, okay, that's not for me.
- 14:48SPEAKER_01: Even you've probably done this too.
- 14:49SPEAKER_01: When I'm talking to clients, I'm like, take what's in alignment.
- 14:52SPEAKER_01: Like, don't take what I've done or what I believe or what I say to be what has to be true.
- 14:56SPEAKER_01: Take the bits and pieces that are in alignment, take the bits and pieces of delivery or leadership and like really sit in that and see if that works for you, see if that fits for you.
- 15:05SPEAKER_01: But by no means should we be consuming for the sake of trying to do that for ourselves.
- 15:13SPEAKER_01: I really think we should be willing to slow down to speed up enough to be like, what do I want?
- 15:17SPEAKER_01: What's actually a truth for me?
- 15:20SPEAKER_01: And then it's a matter of, okay, well, what do I need?
- 15:22SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 15:23SPEAKER_01: What do I need to know?
- 15:24SPEAKER_01: What do I need to do?
- 15:24SPEAKER_01: What do I need to, who do I need to be?
- 15:27SPEAKER_01: And going from there.
- 15:29SPEAKER_00: And I think also, and this is where mentorship can be important.
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: You may not even know what it is that requires.
- 15:34SPEAKER_00: Like you may be listening, like, all right, I have this big to do this.
- 15:36SPEAKER_00: I don't know what's busy work, what's actually required, what's this, what's that.
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: And that's where like working with someone can help.
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: Because like you may not, and that's fair, but you trying to decipher it for yourself can be very overwhelming.
- 15:50SPEAKER_00: Can be like, I need some sort of guidance or structure in support of where I want to go and how do I get there, right?
- 15:57SPEAKER_00: So if you're wanting a three-hour workday, perfect.
- 15:59SPEAKER_00: Can is a perfect example of like what a three-hour workday would be.
- 16:03SPEAKER_00: You know, I'm very similar to like I'm not a 10, 12 hour person, right?
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: But then make sure your mentor is not someone who's telling you, you know, the 10, 12 hour structure if that's not in alignment for you.
- 16:14SPEAKER_00: So I don't think it's also not just the result of the someone you're getting mentorship from, but it's the way that they achieve that result.
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: Because there are many different ways to get there, but you want to make sure you're getting there in a way that's in resonance for you.
- 16:27SPEAKER_00: And I think that's also people sometimes see the shiny end result, and you don't necessarily want to have to do what they did, but you might resonate with how someone else got there, and that I think is very important, not just how they got there, not just yeah.
- 16:42SPEAKER_01: I have, yeah, I've made a couple posts on that recently because I'm like, you have to look at the life behind the results because there is a lifestyle component, like my lifestyle is very fused into my business.
- 16:53SPEAKER_01: That's why I created it the way I did, right?
- 16:56SPEAKER_01: And as for anybody, so I think it's really important to look at the lifestyle and the approaches behind the results when you are seeking mentorship.
- 17:05SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: So I want to touch on, you know, this has come up with some of my clients and maybe some of yours as well.
- 17:12SPEAKER_02: The guilt for not working as a compensation.
- 17:16SPEAKER_00: You know, I've had people like, how can what do you what do you mean?
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: Like, I feel guilty if I only work two, three hours a day and I make like good money versus other people are 10, 12 hours a day, and maybe they're making, you know, whatever.
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: Have you personally where I've sat in that, and or I'm sure you've had clients, and like, what do you have to say about that?
- 17:34SPEAKER_01: So I've I I've never yeah, I've never held guilt around how little I work.
- 17:41SPEAKER_01: I but again, like this, I swear.
- 17:44SPEAKER_01: So in my human design life theme, when I really dove into this, my theme is to free others, like to bring freedom to others' lives.
- 17:51SPEAKER_01: And I was like, that's fucking hilarious because that's like right up, like that's my jam.
- 17:57SPEAKER_01: So I've never felt the guilt, but I feel like it's really easy for me to see that and like pick that up from others.
- 18:03SPEAKER_01: So naturally, a lot of clients come to me from a past of being busy, a past of you know, it feeling really complicated, a pill, resistance, whatever it is.
- 18:11SPEAKER_01: And so that is a lot of the things we will have a conversation around, right?
- 18:15SPEAKER_01: And I I think that there's a piece of embodiment in that, allowing yourself, allowing yourself to see yourself as the person who gets to work less and make more and what that gets to mean for you.
- 18:26SPEAKER_01: So sometimes I think we're making it really personal.
- 18:29SPEAKER_01: And really, it affects everything else.
- 18:33SPEAKER_01: Like if you're a mom, like I know for a fact me having so much more energy because I am actually nourished and fulfilled, right, in my mission carries and overflows rate into my children and into how I feel all day long until I wake up the next morning.
- 18:50SPEAKER_01: Like I know where that overflow goes, and so I'm deeply rooted in that and deeply rooted into like the long-term vision of just how I want to look back at my life.
- 19:01SPEAKER_01: So I'm able to see that and disconnect from any feeling of guilt around work hours or receiving within those work hours.
- 19:09SPEAKER_01: And with clients, I think sometimes it's a willingness to forgive.
- 19:13SPEAKER_01: You'll probably get this a willingness to forgive yourself for even believing it had to be the other way.
- 19:19SPEAKER_01: And understanding that not everybody's gonna get it.
- 19:22SPEAKER_01: Like my family still loves to project onto me, right?
- 19:26SPEAKER_01: And it's my discernment of that's yours, this is mine, nothing's wrong, nothing's right.
- 19:32SPEAKER_01: Away we go, right?
- 19:35SPEAKER_00: I am just jumping on this episode to let you guys know that safety is now open.
- 19:40SPEAKER_00: This is the brand new program to really anchor in a deep level of safety into your nervous system and to break out of survival mode.
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: We are gonna be breaking out of the wounding, the trauma, the conditioning that gives your body the illusion of safety, as well as wiring your nervous system for that survival mode by releasing all of that trapped energy and trauma.
- 19:59SPEAKER_00: We're also gonna be expanding your nervous system to make it more resilient so that it can hold more.
- 20:03SPEAKER_00: We're gonna be resolving physical symptoms like metabolism, skin, anxiety, gut, all that are linked to the lack of safety, as well as really anchoring that safety into your body so that your nervous system has a default for calm and chill.
- 20:16SPEAKER_00: Not to mention, you're no longer gonna be triggered because your nervous system feels safe.
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: And you're not only breaking out of survival mode, but you're building a nervous system that actually feels safe to expand because you've released the fears and lack of trust that keeps your system always looking for danger.
- 20:31SPEAKER_00: We have four live calls a whole month together where you can also plug in in-between calls for personal support.
- 20:38SPEAKER_00: This will be responded to daily.
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: There are also gonna be added trainings, there's added videos.
- 20:44SPEAKER_00: This is really about knowing exactly what your body actually needs to bring you out of survival mode and into thrival mode, along with the practical integration, so you actually know how to do this in a way that feels safe and solid.
- 20:56SPEAKER_00: So if you wanna be cracked open, if you're ready to release all of that stuff, if you're ready to go all in for your healing and you know that you are meant for more, join us inside safety.
- 21:07SPEAKER_00: If you are familiar with Wellnourished, Safety is the foundational program.
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: We are breaking apart Well Nourished into separate programs so that not only is it more accessible to everyone, but you can start healing now.
- 21:17SPEAKER_00: You may not even need all the programs, but safety is the foundational one, so chances are you need this one at least.
- 21:24SPEAKER_00: So we're gonna leave all the information down in the description box, but I cannot wait.
- 21:28SPEAKER_00: This is truly going to change the game when it comes to anchoring safety into your nervous system, and I cannot wait to see you inside.
- 21:35SPEAKER_00: I'm curious, do you believe that everyone could be massively compensated and work less?
- 21:43SPEAKER_00: Or do you believe that?
- 21:45SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 21:46SPEAKER_00: Yes, obviously I know this, but like I'm I'm thinking in the heads of like the audience of like some people, because I'm sure we both heard it.
- 21:54SPEAKER_00: Well, some of you just aren't, you know, meant to, or I've also had the comment well, I'm a lawyer.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: So I have to.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: And I'm just like, no, you don't have to go.
- 22:04SPEAKER_01: But is it our projectorness that we just like see it so differently than them?
- 22:08SPEAKER_01: Because I do feel like that's why we're given so many of the gifts and like just the ability to see specific things.
- 22:15SPEAKER_01: But yes, if you're listening and you're already rolling your eyes, I say this all the time in my content too.
- 22:19SPEAKER_01: I'm like, avoid the eye roll that's coming next because I see it time and time again.
- 22:24SPEAKER_01: It's actually possible.
- 22:26SPEAKER_01: It's just your your willingness to believe that and then see it differently and get curious.
- 22:31SPEAKER_01: Get curious right now.
- 22:32SPEAKER_01: If you can't even fathom the idea of working three hours a day and you know making a few hundred thousand dollars a year.
- 22:38SPEAKER_01: Like get curious because if not, you're holding yourself back.
- 22:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I totally agree.
- 22:45SPEAKER_00: What I will say, I'm I'm really gonna like dig into this because I feel like you're a model example.
- 22:51SPEAKER_00: Let's say someone does something where it's like I don't know, they they're like a teacher or this or that, like, and they don't think it's possible, given like, well, then if everyone did that, then like you know, no one would be there to like clean the schools or do this or do that, like work the grocery stores.
- 23:10SPEAKER_00: Like, if everyone was just like sitting at home working three hours a day, then what would happen to society?
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: I want to hear your perspective on this.
- 23:18SPEAKER_01: Well, I think that no matter what, we all have gifts and talents or points of interest.
- 23:23SPEAKER_01: So there's like the janitors, there's the cashiers, there's the teachers, I love that example.
- 23:29SPEAKER_01: There's the lawyers, there's the doctors, there's what else?
- 23:33SPEAKER_01: Like all uh people, humans, all around, doing different things, having different positions and fulfilling those roles in society, which I think is so important.
- 23:42SPEAKER_01: But is it that it's more of the model?
- 23:45SPEAKER_01: So for a teacher, for example, well, there's tons of teaching models.
- 23:47SPEAKER_01: Who says that children actually need to learn for eight hours a day?
- 23:50SPEAKER_01: I actually don't believe that.
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: We homeschooled for the first three years of school.
- 23:53SPEAKER_01: I don't believe that children need eight hours a day to learn.
- 23:58SPEAKER_01: And that's my personal belief.
- 24:01SPEAKER_01: So again, when we like strip back the layers and actually look at the model, which is why I think business model is so important too when we're talking about business.
- 24:10SPEAKER_01: But in NHUP, the the model of how things are set up and the compensation for that.
- 24:14SPEAKER_01: That's basically what the two come down to.
- 24:18SPEAKER_00: Because I think you're right, like even as a teacher, you could maybe have like, I don't know, a homeschooling thing, or you could do something.
- 24:24SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh, learning pods and like I have a teacher who like would make courses or like make sell her curriculums to other teachers or sell her like lesson plans, whatever.
- 24:33SPEAKER_00: Like you could do that and make you know five figures a month doing odd, even.
- 24:37SPEAKER_01: So I how many teachers are on Etsy?
- 24:40SPEAKER_01: Like, I know so many teachers that have little Etsy shops that, like you said, like sell anything they create.
- 24:46SPEAKER_01: I feel like teachers are actually so gifted and so creative.
- 24:50SPEAKER_00: I feel like people really need to get out of the box of what they think is possible and stop living their own conditions of their own mind based on the projections of other people.
- 25:01SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 25:01SPEAKER_00: I just think like it's too many people live in the projections of other people.
- 25:06SPEAKER_00: And as a 5-1, I understand projections like any other human design.
- 25:12SPEAKER_00: And it's just like it's so interesting to see the projections constantly, not just in business, but in life.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: And I was I posted a reel about like what me and my fiancee normalized in our relationship yesterday, and the amount of people who were just like trolling what we don't normalize because obviously it's triggering that you know, we don't just do that, we don't complain to other like families and friends, we don't shame each other.
- 25:37SPEAKER_00: And it's just well, this is not normal for me, this is not blah blah blah, and it's like no no, it it like it can be.
- 25:43SPEAKER_00: This is just like showing you that like there's like conditions and projections of what you believe that like a marriage or partnership should look like, and it's like, no, it's it doesn't have to be yelling at each other or complaining all the time about each other or this or that.
- 25:57SPEAKER_00: But it's interesting when we get triggered how people can go on the defensive and just like justify it versus like you're actually if something does trigger you, whether it's a three-hour workday relationship or this or that, can you have the self-leadership to sit in it like ooh, that's the part of me that desires that and realizes that I am not in alignment with what I actually desire.
- 26:18SPEAKER_00: I desire that life, that business, that relationship, and it's too uncomfortable to feel that, so let me project onto them, right?
- 26:25SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 26:27SPEAKER_00: That dance of like, oh, that's interesting, and then also knowing that when you get projected on, having the self-awareness to know that if someone laughs at you for, I don't know, having your own Etsy shop or doing your own business, that that's their projection of what they believe is is possible.
- 26:41SPEAKER_00: But what we said about the noise, I think is just so important because it's your ability to navigate like that dance of your projection is also being projected upon and bringing awareness to all of these things that allows your life to actually like shift and transform and you to move because of how you're leaving yourself.
- 26:59SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 26:59SPEAKER_01: And I also so I feel like we should talk about that for a second because I'm constantly talking about you get to choose what you normalize.
- 27:06SPEAKER_01: It's like this life that I'm living is not freaking normal for my family, for the people around me.
- 27:10SPEAKER_01: For like I'm from a one-stop light town.
- 27:12SPEAKER_01: Like, I kid you not, there is one set of lights in the town I'm from.
- 27:16SPEAKER_01: Okay, like, yeah, no, like I'm not joking.
- 27:18SPEAKER_01: There's one grocery store, there's two gas stations, like I'm not kidding, one coffee shop, like teeny tiny, teeny tiny.
- 27:24SPEAKER_01: Okay, this is not normal.
- 27:26SPEAKER_01: Living the life I live, reworking the way I work, like the things I've done, and it's all of it, right?
- 27:32SPEAKER_01: Is not normal.
- 27:33SPEAKER_01: And it takes such willingness to hold your belief of what you're choosing to normalize for yourself when you then carry that out publicly, when you then put that out on social media, when you then begin to truly become the embodiment of that.
- 27:49SPEAKER_01: It takes such personal power to be willing to stay anchored in it and willing to hold it until it is your reality.
- 27:57SPEAKER_01: And that's why I love calling it like the normalization process.
- 28:00SPEAKER_01: Like you have to be willing to go through that in order to actually experience the outcome of it.
- 28:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and I think even going back to what we were discussing in the beginning, people tap out or they plug out.
- 28:10SPEAKER_00: Oh, absolutely.
- 28:11SPEAKER_00: They're in that gap and they say that it's not working.
- 28:13SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, it's not that it's not working, it's that you couldn't hold like the gap, which is like it's not like a shame or bad or wrong.
- 28:20SPEAKER_00: It's just like notice that you couldn't hold it.
- 28:23SPEAKER_00: Now it's time to strengthen that part of you.
- 28:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, get curious.
- 28:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 28:28SPEAKER_00: Like, it's not working.
- 28:29SPEAKER_00: It's like a huh.
- 28:30SPEAKER_00: What parts of me do I actually have to strengthen in order to lead myself through this journey?
- 28:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 28:35SPEAKER_01: And what can I do to simplify?
- 28:37SPEAKER_01: Not simple.
- 28:37SPEAKER_01: Well, it is usually simplify it, simplify it, speed it up, shift it.
- 28:40SPEAKER_01: Like, what do I need to know?
- 28:42SPEAKER_01: Who do I need to be?
- 28:43SPEAKER_01: Like, what do I need to learn?
- 28:44SPEAKER_01: And just keep going.
- 28:46SPEAKER_01: Like, I was just unwilling to settle.
- 28:48SPEAKER_01: I literally was not available for anything outside of what I live to this day.
- 28:52SPEAKER_01: I wasn't available for.
- 28:53SPEAKER_01: And there's still more to like, I'm now just keep going, right?
- 28:57SPEAKER_01: There's still more.
- 28:58SPEAKER_01: I'm like, okay, I'm not available for this.
- 28:59SPEAKER_01: This is the only thing I'm available for.
- 29:00SPEAKER_01: Therefore, that's what I think about, it's what I focus on, it's what I work towards, what I lead myself towards, and it's where I make my decisions from.
- 29:07SPEAKER_01: But as always, there's a gap.
- 29:08SPEAKER_01: No matter where you are, it's not that you reach a point and like the gaps are gone.
- 29:11SPEAKER_01: You always have to, I love that you said that you have to be willing to hold yourself in that gap to normalize it.
- 29:16SPEAKER_00: Different, you know, it's you know, showing up online or being confident in sell your offers, it's like holding bigger this or bigger that, or like the business.
- 29:24SPEAKER_00: Like you, there's gonna be different gaps that you're gonna constantly kind of go through and like lead yourself through.
- 29:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, absolutely.
- 29:32SPEAKER_00: And I think what's also really important is that A, not only like how you lead yourself early on, but I think when people look at, oh, you know, it must be easy for them, it's just a choice, and I think people really get hung up on the fact that it's a choice.
- 29:52SPEAKER_00: And when we talk about like I was never available, like I said the same thing, you know, back when I had health issues, I wasn't available to just be loaded all the time.
- 29:58SPEAKER_00: Like some people just like, oh, that's just my life.
- 30:01SPEAKER_00: I was like, no, no, when I, you know, in natural Catholic school, they tell you, Oh, you're gonna have to work Saturdays, this, that, and I'm like, I don't work Saturdays, so no, or like this.
- 30:13SPEAKER_00: Like, I was never one of those people, I think we had that in common, where people tell us, like, ask we die.
- 30:18SPEAKER_00: I was like, No, I don't want to do that.
- 30:20SPEAKER_00: But I think when people really need to clean up their energetic standards, right?
- 30:24SPEAKER_00: Because they want to experiencing it.
- 30:26SPEAKER_00: I'm like, you're experiencing the standard you set.
- 30:30SPEAKER_00: So the standards have to start with you, and you're a perfect example of like setting a standard and you set it from the beginning.
- 30:36SPEAKER_00: It's not like, oh, you know, I worked 14-hour days for 10 years and now I can work three hours a day.
- 30:41SPEAKER_00: Like you set yourself at the standard, yeah.
- 30:43SPEAKER_00: So, like, people really need to inventory their standards, what you say you want.
- 30:49SPEAKER_00: And like I said, my word for this year is probably congruency.
- 30:52SPEAKER_00: Is that in congruence with how you're showing up?
- 30:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 30:55SPEAKER_01: I love that.
- 30:56SPEAKER_01: And it, yeah.
- 30:56SPEAKER_01: And when you that's just it, once you take that inventory, what are you going to do next?
- 31:02SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 31:02SPEAKER_01: Like, what are you what are you going to do now that you have this inventory, now that you know this information, what are you doing next in order to get there?
- 31:11SPEAKER_01: Because there's also that unwillingness to sit in stagnation and avoid it.
- 31:16SPEAKER_00: I want to talk about nervous system as well.
- 31:20SPEAKER_00: Like having a business, you have to have a regulated nervous system.
- 31:25SPEAKER_00: You whether it's trolls coming at you, you have to deal with like people, what is it called when they like disputes?
- 31:31SPEAKER_00: What I like you have to deal with, and I'm sure even as a mom, like two kids, and at one point, like two toddlers, like there's a lot that you've had to hold and navigate when it comes to having a nervous system that is regulated online and offline.
- 31:45SPEAKER_00: Can you speak to like whether it's routines, mindsets, beliefs, anything that's really helped you and your nervous system be like solid throughout this time and regulated?
- 31:56SPEAKER_01: I love that.
- 31:57SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 31:58SPEAKER_01: So yeah, I feel like there's not much I haven't I've definitely tested the waters, let's say, when it comes to like stretching my nervous system, I feel like in the last four years.
- 32:10SPEAKER_01: Um, so let's let's start with routines, I guess.
- 32:14SPEAKER_01: So I think I've noted a lot of like the beliefs that have helped me because I feel like my beliefs are simple but really, really strong, and I remain angered in them.
- 32:21SPEAKER_01: So I what I mean by that is like I'm constantly also reminding myself.
- 32:26SPEAKER_01: And that's part of your own personal leadership too.
- 32:28SPEAKER_01: And again, your willingness to hold whatever it is that you want to be experiencing.
- 32:32SPEAKER_01: So I'm constantly reconnecting to my vision and either scripting it out, thinking about it, um, reconnecting with it.
- 32:38SPEAKER_01: My personal belief systems, like we call them our core energetic beliefs.
- 32:42SPEAKER_01: Like, what are they?
- 32:43SPEAKER_01: What do I need to remain in this season?
- 32:45SPEAKER_01: Like, what do I want to be anchored into?
- 32:47SPEAKER_01: And whether it's like having it literally on a piece of paper and taped to your desk or on the back screen of my phone, like you name it, I've done what I've needed to do in order to remain anchored.
- 32:58SPEAKER_01: And the more that this is my own experience, but the more that I remain anchored into what's mine, I the less desire I have to even scroll social media, right?
- 33:08SPEAKER_01: I'm like, get on, pop up, get off.
- 33:11SPEAKER_01: Like that that's it.
- 33:12SPEAKER_01: I don't, I have no desire to hear what they're doing, what they're doing, what they're launching, no desire.
- 33:17SPEAKER_01: And it's because I'm so anchored in my own certainty, because I'm clear, I know, and it's embodied.
- 33:24SPEAKER_01: Um, so that's been probably the biggest.
- 33:28SPEAKER_01: In the last 12 months, I have definitely experienced like the wildest personal life experiences in terms of what's gone on behind the scenes in my personal life.
- 33:36SPEAKER_01: And I would say that my nervous system has felt like I feel so proud of how regulated I've remained, given all of that.
- 33:45SPEAKER_01: And I know that a lot of that has to do with the practices I have in place, how resourced I am in terms of like support and tools, but also the fact that my business model is actually set up for nourishment.
- 33:58SPEAKER_01: Like I'm I'm not chasing anything in my business, I don't need to launch anything new, right?
- 34:04SPEAKER_01: Like I don't I don't fucking have to do any of that in order to receive income in my business and support myself or the growth, or like I don't need to do any of that.
- 34:14SPEAKER_01: So that alone was like the biggest exhale that you could possibly imagine when you're going through it.
- 34:21SPEAKER_01: And it allowed me to lean back and be more in my feminine energy and have the space to make sure I was always nourished where I needed it, how I needed it.
- 34:34SPEAKER_00: I want to like take that thread and pull it because I think it's so important that when you have even your own business, it should be served in a way that when life happens, it it doesn't fall to the floor.
- 34:48SPEAKER_00: Or if like life happens and you can't show up for a live launch that means like no money's coming, because that can be very dysregulating when you feel like oh of course behind the scenes, but I need to show up in my business.
- 34:58SPEAKER_00: If I don't show up an XYZ way, then my business isn't built in a sustainable way that's actually going to support that.
- 35:05SPEAKER_00: And the thing is that like life will happen, like you can't necessarily control, you know, personal things are gonna happen.
- 35:11SPEAKER_00: You want to make sure you're resilient and you kind of have the structures in place that if you need to take a week off, if you like whatever it is, a month, your slower season, it doesn't necessarily mean that your business has to be slower.
- 35:24SPEAKER_00: And I think a lot of people when they're building their businesses, it's very much tied to them.
- 35:30SPEAKER_00: And even though like we are our brand, you also like there is a way to make it so that it's sustainable, so that you don't have to go through like an exhausting live launch of time or be on or be here there, like doing all the things, or even people are like, I don't have anything profound to say, and I'm just like that cannot be the biggest problem, right?
- 35:49SPEAKER_00: Like, no, yes, I just and I think well, the way we both do it is just so important for a regulated nervous system because when we even think about a lot of people's nervous system in their business, it's going up and down just in the way they've structured it, and then we bring in things like the noise of other people, and that's also dysregulating, and then maybe you get into comparison and then you look at your strike month today, and then that dysregulates you, and like there's so many little like holes in the bucket that can be dysregulating your nervous system, and then if you think that that does not translate through your energy with how you're showing up, I guarantee you that it is, right?
- 36:26SPEAKER_01: And I'm sure you oh absolutely absolutely, absolutely, and I couldn't imagine like that's one of the biggest things I'll I'll I've noticed throughout my journey, but also when I'm like sitting back and actually watching and like being in it with clients, too.
- 36:42SPEAKER_01: It's like that that exhale, that's the the best way to explain it is like, oh, like we literally know what's needed in a day in order to create the consistent result, and it doesn't require being on or live launching if you don't want to, and you're able to actually experience so much more of life, regardless if it's good or bad.
- 37:05SPEAKER_01: And you also have that certainty, which I think has been really supportive to my nervous system the whole time scaling my business, honestly, because I don't have to second guess.
- 37:13SPEAKER_01: I'm not comparing, I'm not questioning, I'm not doubting, I'm not in fear.
- 37:16SPEAKER_01: Like the frequency I'm able to hold is is is quite stable because I'm certain.
- 37:22SPEAKER_01: And I I think that so much of it comes back to that as well, right?
- 37:25SPEAKER_01: Like being able to breathe into that and know and just keep going every day and being being plugged in.
- 37:34SPEAKER_00: I couldn't agree more.
- 37:35SPEAKER_00: And I hope people really understand.
- 37:38SPEAKER_00: Well, everything we said was important.
- 37:40SPEAKER_00: I feel like if people just apply what we said in this episode, this will actually change your life, your business.
- 37:46SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 37:47SPEAKER_00: You're welcome.
- 37:48SPEAKER_00: You're welcome.
- 37:49SPEAKER_00: Well, I mean that's like kind of the goal of my podcast episodes.
- 37:51SPEAKER_00: Like, yeah, you know, apply them, it's going to, you know, yeah, burrow your brain.
- 37:57SPEAKER_01: That's okay.
- 37:58SPEAKER_01: But I think I do think there's so many things in the I'm what I'm noticing is the common theme so far is like discern what you're what you're consuming right now already.
- 38:06SPEAKER_01: If the if the best thing you did today was to go put boundaries of what you actually watch, what you want to watch, what you want to consume, and go implement that right away.
- 38:14SPEAKER_01: Because I think that you'll notice a big difference and then checking in with like what you're doing and if it's actually creating a result for you, or if it's just making you more confused or more tired or more overwhelmed.
- 38:28SPEAKER_00: I agree.
- 38:29SPEAKER_00: Because, like we said in the beginning, there's so much you're doing that probably isn't the result, but you maybe you think it is because you're working those 12 hours, but it wasn't like the 12 things you did, it was like the three things that you did, and the other whatever math.
- 38:40SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry, my brain.
- 38:41SPEAKER_01: I don't even want to know how many there were.
- 38:43SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 38:44SPEAKER_00: The other things you did were probably like not required, like needed, etc.
- 38:51SPEAKER_00: And I love, I just love how simple you make things for people, and I think people need simple, and I think people jump to overcomplicating way like too soon, too fast, and also in a way that's not required.
- 39:04SPEAKER_00: Like, I need this exactly this and this and this lead, and it's like you're overwhelming yourself, and it's probably not like needed, not at all, and also checking in.
- 39:15SPEAKER_01: So, I love what you said about if you're working, you know, let's let's just even say eight hours, because hopefully nobody's working 12 hours at this point.
- 39:22SPEAKER_01: Like already makes me feel nauseous.
- 39:24SPEAKER_01: But if you're working eight hours, like check in.
- 39:27SPEAKER_01: Am I choosing to believe that this is what it takes?
- 39:30SPEAKER_01: And that's why I'm so attached to working these hours and doing all of these things on my to-do list right now.
- 39:37SPEAKER_01: And what do I actually know creates a result?
- 39:41SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 39:41SPEAKER_01: Being a clear representation, the tasks that actually move the needle forward, right?
- 39:46SPEAKER_01: So you're marketing, that is a strategy.
- 39:48SPEAKER_01: Make sure that is actually supporting the outcome you want and do that consistently.
- 39:52SPEAKER_01: Clean up your representation and serve your clients well.
- 39:58SPEAKER_01: There's there's actually very few things that are required, 100% needed, that actually very effectively move the needle for you, um, that can radically free you.
- 40:10SPEAKER_01: And then it's a matter of okay, what do I desire to do?
- 40:13SPEAKER_01: Do I desire to go live?
- 40:14SPEAKER_01: Do I desire to do a podcast?
- 40:16SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 40:17SPEAKER_01: Like I have a podcast as well because I love I could talk all day.
- 40:19SPEAKER_01: I got to have this conversation until that time, right?
- 40:22SPEAKER_01: Like I want to do the things, and I believe that that's where a lot of our genius will also come forward and a lot of our energy will be received doing the things that we actually feel alive doing, not from a place of should.
- 40:34SPEAKER_00: And knowing that the things that can make you successful in your business or make you money in your business aren't necessarily like the gritty things in your business, like you taking the morning off to walk by the beach, and all of a sudden, like you get this creative download and this comes through and you post it and you sign clients.
- 40:51SPEAKER_00: Like, I've had that where I just like words flew through, I threw it on the slide, and like within a couple minutes, someone's like, That's my spot, and it's all the one-on-one.
- 40:59SPEAKER_00: And like that's but it that's what gets to happen when you actually allow the space and you're not filled with like the shoulds, and things are more simple, and you're not caught up with busy work.
- 41:08SPEAKER_00: And so I think even not separating it, like when I work my business, it's like writing this post and like that serves my business, but like walking on the beach doesn't.
- 41:16SPEAKER_00: I think it's especially as a business owner, knowing that everything you do gets to help your business.
- 41:23SPEAKER_01: Everything, especially when you are a brand, especially when like you are the representation of your work, most importantly.
- 41:29SPEAKER_01: Like, well, you already know.
- 41:30SPEAKER_01: Like, I live on the beach, like that's I I just honestly couldn't imagine looking at that and putting pressure on myself of like, oh, you shouldn't be doing that because I know what happens when I'm there.
- 41:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and if if you've allowed yourself the space to actually feel the difference, then you'll begin to create that proof for yourself.
- 41:49SPEAKER_00: And that's all about holding the gap and leading yourself through it.
- 41:51SPEAKER_00: Oh, we have a whole circle.
- 41:53SPEAKER_00: I love it.
- 41:54SPEAKER_00: Well, thank you so much for coming on.
- 41:57SPEAKER_00: This was I think a powerful, potent conversation that people need to listen to at least twice to really like stink it.
- 42:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, seriously.
- 42:04SPEAKER_00: Save it and come back to it.
- 42:06SPEAKER_00: Like actually remember when you're in your shoes, come back and listen to this and be like, oh right, okay.
- 42:12SPEAKER_00: But please let everyone know where they could find you, kind of what you how you help people, like what containers you have available, any links that we'll leave in the description box below as well.
