- 1:13life and help make that, let's say, just
- 1:16a little bit better than it was before.
- 1:19So again, it is so great to have
- 1:20you here with me.
- 1:23And again, if you have not checked out
- 1:25BelieveMeAchieved.com, what are you waiting for?
- 1:27Go check that out after the show.
- 1:30You can get my short form content, long
- 1:32form content, articles, reels, and so much more.
- 1:35And ladies and gentlemen, I've got to make
- 1:37a little bit of a introduction here tonight.
- 1:39I want to let you know that, yeah,
- 1:43I've actually got something pretty interesting to share
- 1:49with you.
- 1:49My book, I'm not going to give you
- 1:52the title yet, but my very first book
- 1:53is coming out.
- 1:55And I think that's an important thing to
- 1:58understand.
- 2:01And maybe you don't understand that, but it's
- 2:09really important because I've been working on this
- 2:11book for a while, and there was another
- 2:12book that I was going to write, and
- 2:14this book came out now.
- 2:16So very interesting.
- 2:19And yeah, I know you guys are going
- 2:21to like it.
- 2:21The book will be out earlier than I
- 2:23expect.
- 2:24It was supposed to be out before the
- 2:24end of the year.
- 2:25I think it's going to be out before
- 2:26the summer.
- 2:27And yeah, so really, it's going to be
- 2:29good.
- 2:29And we're also going to have an audio
- 2:30version of the book, and it's going to
- 2:33be about, oh, roughly 13 to 15 chapters,
- 2:36roughly 150, 160 pages, give or take or
- 2:39so.
- 2:39So it's really exciting for me.
- 2:41It's going to share two changes that happened
- 2:43in my life.
- 2:45And I think that's something you guys are
- 2:47going to like because a lot of people
- 2:50don't realize one important thing.
- 2:52You know what that is?
- 2:52They don't realize that they have the potential
- 2:54to change.
- 2:56All right.
- 2:56Oh, and if you're thirsty or you're hungry,
- 2:58feel free to go grab yourself something.
- 2:59I got my RO water here.
- 3:02Feel free to grab that.
- 3:04Maybe you want something else like a snack
- 3:06or something.
- 3:06Feel free to get that and come on
- 3:08back to the show.
- 3:11All right.
- 3:15So like I said, it is so great
- 3:16to be with you here on the Inspirations
- 3:19for Your Life show.
- 3:21And I want to let you know that
- 3:23there's so much that I want to share
- 3:26with you.
- 3:27And yeah, it's really a lot.
- 3:30But let's get right in the show because
- 3:32this is going to be an amazing show
- 3:33tonight.
- 3:33All right.
- 3:34Are you ready, guys?
- 3:35I know I am.
- 3:36So like I said, welcome, everyone, here to
- 3:39Inspirations for Your Life.
- 3:41I am John C.
- 3:42Morley, serial entrepreneur, engineer, marketing specialist, video producer,
- 3:47podcast host, coach, graduate student, a passionate lifelong
- 3:50learner, and pretty soon a published author.
- 3:54So today's episode is titled Integrity Over Image.
- 3:58In a world filled with external pressures and
- 4:01constant comparisons, it's easy to get lost in
- 4:04the shuffle, in the need to impress others.
- 4:08But today we're going to explore the importance
- 4:10of integrity, a quality that builds stronger foundations
- 4:14than any image could ever.
- 4:16And that might be hard for some of
- 4:18you to realize or to captivate.
- 4:21So let's dive in together into why integrity
- 4:24and when chosen over image leads to sustainable
- 4:29success, clarity, and yes, guys, inner power.
- 4:33So number one is integrity over image.
- 4:36Integrity outlasts performance.
- 4:39Integrity is built through actions, not applause.
- 4:42It's something that stays long after the spotlight
- 4:45fades.
- 4:45And I think a lot of people, you
- 4:47know, they don't realize that they do something
- 4:49for the spotlight.
- 4:50But then when the spotlight fades, like, oh,
- 4:51my gosh, like, what do I do now?
- 4:53What am I supposed to do?
- 4:54And I think that's a very important thing
- 4:57to realize is that.
- 4:59If you have integrity and the spotlights go
- 5:01out, well, you can get the spotlights again
- 5:03because you are a person that's authentic.
- 5:08All right.
- 5:10Number two, guys, image fades, character compounds, while
- 5:15the image may change, true character builds over
- 5:19time and creates value.
- 5:20Remember I said to you guys, we have
- 5:23to be.
- 5:26Basically, accountable when somebody is watching and even
- 5:29when they're not watching, I think that's an
- 5:31important thing that I want to share with
- 5:33you, even when they're not watching, we need
- 5:35to be accountable.
- 5:37All right.
- 5:38Number three, guys, doing right builds stability when
- 5:42your action aligns with your value.
- 5:45You create a strong foundation that won't waver
- 5:48in times of uncertainty.
- 5:51Yes.
- 5:56Does that make sense?
- 5:59If it doesn't, let me know.
- 6:09Let's go on to the next point.
- 6:11Next point is really important.
- 6:12I think when we understand about not wavering
- 6:15uncertainty, but let's talk about integrity.
- 6:16Integrity removes the need to impress when you
- 6:19act with integrity.
- 6:20You no longer need validation from others.
- 6:23You become your own measure of success.
- 6:26OK.
- 6:28And so that's another very key point.
- 6:31Number five, quiet consistency beats loud claims.
- 6:37Consistency speaks louder than empty promises.
- 6:39People trust what they can rely on, not
- 6:42what's flashy.
- 6:44You might think the flashy gets people's attention,
- 6:47but the truth of the matter is it
- 6:48really doesn't.
- 6:50It gets their attention for a very short
- 6:53window and then.
- 6:56It's like, well, they even have your attention
- 7:01at all.
- 7:04You might know people on the streets and
- 7:06they call to get your attention, you know,
- 7:08or maybe you're at a game and they're
- 7:10like, you know, soda here, popcorn here, pretzels
- 7:14here, ice cream here.
- 7:16Right.
- 7:16And they get your attention for a short
- 7:18while.
- 7:18But then you know what happens?
- 7:19You lose it.
- 7:21And what gets your attention even more is
- 7:23that you're already hungry.
- 7:24So it's fulfilling a need that you have.
- 7:29But if you're not hungry and you're hearing
- 7:31soda here, beer here, popcorn here, and you
- 7:33just ate so they get your attention, but
- 7:35then you're like, oh, I'm not interested.
- 7:36And you kind of like block them out,
- 7:38don't you?
- 7:39Number six.
- 7:41Alignment feels steady when your inner values align
- 7:44with your actions.
- 7:45There's a piece that comes from knowing you're
- 7:47on the right path, guys.
- 7:49You're on the right path.
- 7:55I think that's an important thing to understand.
- 8:02If you don't understand that, then maybe you're
- 8:05going to be lost.
- 8:07Number seven, integrity is to advise decisions when
- 8:09you know who you are and what you
- 8:11stand for.
- 8:13Decisions become easier and more intuitive when you
- 8:16adapt this mindset.
- 8:19Number eight, self-respect is built privately.
- 8:21The way you treat yourself when no one
- 8:23is watching forms the core of your self
- 8:26-respect.
- 8:26So you might think that no one is
- 8:29watching you.
- 8:30And I don't really have to act a
- 8:31certain way, but I'm telling you, you do,
- 8:33because when no one's watching you, that's when
- 8:36your core gets built.
- 8:38OK.
- 8:41That's the truth, guys.
- 8:44Number nine, integrity creates calm confidence.
- 8:47When you're aligned with your values, you don't
- 8:49need to worry about impressing others.
- 8:52Your confidence comes from within.
- 8:54OK, not outside you.
- 8:57You might think it's coming from outside you,
- 8:59but that's an illusion.
- 9:01It's coming from within you.
- 9:03And then it is, let's say, pouring out.
- 9:09That's powerful, guys.
- 9:12Number ten, character doesn't need validation.
- 9:16Character is not about others and what they
- 9:19think of you.
- 9:20It's about how you act when no one's
- 9:22around.
- 9:24So I got back to that point when
- 9:26no one's around.
- 9:30Why?
- 9:30Because when you can act a certain way,
- 9:32no one's around, that's going to be your
- 9:35go to, that's your staple, that's going to
- 9:37be your autopilot.
- 9:39But if you're conscious of it, like, oh,
- 9:41I want to do this because someone's around,
- 9:42you're not going to keep doing that, right?
- 9:45That's important.
- 9:47And all of you're saying, oh, John, you
- 9:48know, that's not true.
- 9:49It is true.
- 9:51Because you become what you think about most
- 9:54often, and you also become what you do
- 10:00most.
- 10:02And so what you do most of what
- 10:03you think about, that's what's forming who you
- 10:05are right now.
- 10:06That's the truth, guys.
- 10:08Number eleven, integrity reduces mental noise.
- 10:10When you live authentically, your mind becomes quieter
- 10:13as you're not caught up in the game
- 10:15of keeping up with appearances.
- 10:17Number twelve, alignment removes tension.
- 10:19Being true to your values removes the tension
- 10:21between who you are and who you're trying
- 10:24to be.
- 10:27And I think tension comes a lot of
- 10:29different ways and a lot of different times.
- 10:33So that's important to to understand.
- 10:38And so, you know, that's really, really, really,
- 10:44really important to to know.
- 10:46All right.
- 10:47And so I think when we can think
- 10:51about these things, we're going to get something
- 10:53also very interesting.
- 10:54Doing right builds trust.
- 10:55Trust is earned by consistently doing the right
- 10:58thing, even when it's hard.
- 11:00And yeah, guys, when no one is watching.
- 11:05Number 14, integrity creates emotional safety.
- 11:08When you live with integrity, you feel safe
- 11:10in your own skin, which makes you less
- 11:13reactive and more at peace.
- 11:16Number 15, images that you have in your
- 11:20own image seeks applause.
- 11:22Integrity seeks peace.
- 11:24Image is for approval, but integrity is for
- 11:28inner peace.
- 11:29The external doesn't last, but the peace from
- 11:32the integrity does.
- 11:34So your internal can override your external every
- 11:37single time.
- 11:39I think that's an important thing to to
- 11:42realize is that you can rewrite the memory
- 11:46of your outside by your inside and your
- 11:51inside thoughts and aspirations echo into your actions
- 11:56outside and who you are.
- 11:59Number 16.
- 12:01Character creates resilience.
- 12:04The strength of your character is what keeps
- 12:06you going.
- 12:06When things get tough, it's your resilience and
- 12:09action.
- 12:11Integrity stabilizes emotion.
- 12:13When you stay true to your values, your
- 12:15emotional state becomes more stable and you can
- 12:17handle challenges better.
- 12:19That's another important one.
- 12:21Challenges don't just happen.
- 12:24They, well, transform because of actions you've taken.
- 12:29One of my favorite phrases, and I use
- 12:30this all the time, is that money flows
- 12:33to me easily because of the actions that
- 12:36I take.
- 12:36Let me say that again.
- 12:37Money flows to me easily because of the
- 12:39actions that I take.
- 12:41Money flows to me easily because of the
- 12:43actions that I take.
- 12:44Now, I didn't believe that many years ago,
- 12:46but that started becoming a staple for me.
- 12:48And now it's just on autopilot that money
- 12:51flows to me easily because of the actions
- 12:52that I take.
- 12:53Number 18.
- 12:54Self-honesty builds clarity.
- 12:56Being honest with yourself is the foundation of
- 12:59clarity.
- 12:59When you know what you truly want, decisions
- 13:02become clearer.
- 13:04Number 19.
- 13:05Integrity protects the energy.
- 13:08When you live with integrity, you conserve your
- 13:10energy for the things that truly matter instead
- 13:12of wasting it on maintaining an image.
- 13:15OK, I think that's an important thing to
- 13:17understand.
- 13:19Number 20.
- 13:19Consistency strengthens identity.
- 13:21Your identity is shaped by what you consistently
- 13:24do, not by what you say.
- 13:27Once in a while, that is, right?
- 13:29So you have to realize that you're doing
- 13:31this all the time, not just for that
- 13:33one off moment.
- 13:34I think that's an important thing.
- 13:35Number 21.
- 13:37Number 21 is integrity compounds over time.
- 13:40The more you live with integrity, the more
- 13:43powerful and resilient you become.
- 13:45You see, integrity isn't just a one trick
- 13:47pony, a one time act.
- 13:49It is a daily choice that you incorporate
- 13:51into who you are, to your being, to
- 13:54your personality, to your character.
- 13:59And the people that don't incorporate this are
- 14:03what I want to call the people that
- 14:04are just kind of flying by life to
- 14:06see their pants.
- 14:07They're hoping that maybe they'll get lucky, but
- 14:09they don't really have a plan.
- 14:11I've said this before, guys.
- 14:12If you fail to plan, you have planned
- 14:16to fail.
- 14:17Let me say that again.
- 14:17If you fail to plan, you plan to
- 14:19fail.
- 14:19If you fail to plan, you have planned
- 14:21to fail.
- 14:23OK, that's important.
- 14:25Not something I want to, let's say, you
- 14:28know, scare you on.
- 14:30But I want to tell you that if
- 14:31you do not have a desire in your
- 14:33life.
- 14:34Did I ever think I was going to.
- 14:37Be three chapters and nearly a quarter of
- 14:40the way through a book.
- 14:43I know I've been thinking about writing a
- 14:45book for years, and the book that I
- 14:47had planned on writing first was a very
- 14:50complicated book, it had all these different exercises
- 14:52and different parts and different things that would
- 14:55come with it, like toys and stuff.
- 14:58And I realize, you know, John, I need
- 15:00to start simpler.
- 15:01I need to start with a book that's
- 15:03about who I am and about some lessons
- 15:06that I learned from some life changing events,
- 15:09things that might have, let's say, set someone
- 15:12else off or maybe demotivate someone.
- 15:15It didn't.
- 15:16It made me stronger.
- 15:20Number 22.
- 15:22Quiet discipline builds power, true power comes from
- 15:25the quiet discipline of staying true to your
- 15:27values, even when it's hard.
- 15:30Integrity reduces inner conflict when your actions match
- 15:33your beliefs, your experience, less inner conflict and
- 15:37more peace of mind.
- 15:39See, this is something that a lot of
- 15:41people don't get when you can get rid
- 15:43of the conflict, when you can get rid
- 15:45of the noise around you.
- 15:47All right.
- 15:48You can write a book like I did,
- 15:50right, I think those are some powerful things
- 15:53when we think about, you know, writing a
- 15:54book and what it could do.
- 15:56Um, and I think, I think a lot
- 16:02of people don't necessarily get this, but I
- 16:06want to tell you how true it is.
- 16:08Okay.
- 16:10Doing less wrong creates freedom.
- 16:1224 doing less wrong, creates freedom.
- 16:15Sometimes freedom isn't about doing everything perfectly.
- 16:18No, it's not.
- 16:19It's about doing fewer things that compromise your
- 16:22values.
- 16:22I'm going to give you an example.
- 16:23So, uh, being a video producer and media
- 16:27creator or content creator for a long time,
- 16:29um, I have found some of the magic
- 16:31of how we, how to get yourself exposed,
- 16:35how to start going viral on groups.
- 16:38And you know what happens once in a
- 16:39while, when you start getting up to their
- 16:40different levels on groups, right?
- 16:42Like you have rising contributor, you have, uh,
- 16:45you have top and then you have world
- 16:46contributor or something.
- 16:47And people, when you start getting up to
- 16:49these levels, they start getting jealous.
- 16:51This is like, Oh, you know, did you
- 16:53really create that?
- 16:54I mean, like that's a bad attitude to
- 16:57have.
- 16:58And when what you're doing is working, do
- 17:02people think that by knocking you, it's going
- 17:05to basically get you to change?
- 17:08No, maybe somebody who's not confident in themselves,
- 17:13but somebody who's confident looks at them and
- 17:16says, okay, that's somebody who's insecure about themselves.
- 17:20I'm not going to bother with that person.
- 17:23Number 25 guys, character creates momentum.
- 17:26When your character drives your action, momentum builds
- 17:29naturally.
- 17:30It becomes part of who you are.
- 17:32Remember I said to you that money naturally
- 17:35flows to me through the actions I take
- 17:37money naturally flows to me through the actions
- 17:39that I take money naturally flows to me
- 17:42through the actions that I take many years
- 17:45ago, I had that same ability, but I
- 17:49hadn't done something pretty cool, which is having
- 17:54the awareness.
- 17:56I'm not going to get into a two
- 17:57D today, but awareness is very important.
- 18:00I also talk about it in my book.
- 18:02I think when we start to understand what
- 18:05awareness is, the subtleties of awareness and how
- 18:09awareness can change our perception and that can
- 18:14change our character and our personality and also
- 18:17our integrity that leads me to my next
- 18:20point, guys, number 26, integrity builds confidence has
- 18:26your integrity strengthens, so does your confidence, confidence
- 18:29that doesn't depend on approval, but on your
- 18:31trust, like in these groups, am I looking
- 18:34for approval?
- 18:35No, but when I see that 500, 600,
- 18:38700 people in just a couple of days,
- 18:40love my post, I'm doing something right.
- 18:44And if there's one or two people, I
- 18:46remember the one group person made a comment
- 18:48and normally I would just leave it go,
- 18:50but I said, I'm going to respond, but
- 18:51I'm not going to keep like a ping
- 18:52pong back and forth.
- 18:54And I said to him, I said, you
- 18:54know, um, it's nice of you to put
- 18:56your two cents in.
- 18:58Maybe you should actually create a post.
- 19:00He came back and said, oh, I did.
- 19:02It didn't get to the top.
- 19:03I just ignored it.
- 19:06So people that get jealous or people that
- 19:11get, uh, threatened, even though you're not trying
- 19:13to threaten them, decide to be defensive because
- 19:18they think that they can short circuit you,
- 19:21that they can break you, that they can
- 19:22stop you on your path.
- 19:24I'll give you an example.
- 19:26It was a couple of years ago, I
- 19:27was starting a new, um, group and this
- 19:31one group was already around and, um, I
- 19:34came up with a name and this other
- 19:36group found I had the name.
- 19:37They told me, oh, you can't have that
- 19:38name.
- 19:39I said, why not?
- 19:39They said, well, it's too close to our
- 19:40name.
- 19:42And then they told me their group was
- 19:43trademark and all this stuff.
- 19:44So I went online, I've incorporated companies before
- 19:46and trademark stuff, but I went online and
- 19:49then I went back and I said, Hey,
- 19:51uh, by the way, you're not trademarked or
- 19:54incorporated or anything like that to that name
- 19:56we now are.
- 19:58And this is an informal cease and desist.
- 20:00So go away.
- 20:01And then I blocked them.
- 20:03You know, I'm not looking to be nasty
- 20:04to people, but when people, let's say show
- 20:08their head in the way that they gotta
- 20:11be better than you.
- 20:12I'm not better than anybody.
- 20:14I want to help myself grow.
- 20:15I want to help other people grow, but
- 20:17people that are trying to be that, um,
- 20:20you know, like that, I'm going to call
- 20:22it that, that odd ball, right.
- 20:24In, in, in, um, in the collection of,
- 20:27of the ping pong balls or in the
- 20:28collection of the bouncy balls.
- 20:30Remember when you used to jump in the
- 20:31balls, right.
- 20:32And they're all, let's say green, but then
- 20:34there's happens to be one red one down
- 20:36there.
- 20:37And they want to be that red one.
- 20:38They want to be different, not because they
- 20:41want to make a difference, but because they
- 20:45just want to upset the apple cart, that's
- 20:49powerful guys.
- 20:50That's really, really powerful.
- 20:52And this book, when it comes out, I
- 20:54can't tell you how just me writing the
- 20:57book is giving me an awareness of things
- 21:00that I learned and I'm relearning them even
- 21:03deeper.
- 21:05It's going to be amazing.
- 21:06Number 27, alignment replaces stress.
- 21:09When you align your actions with your core
- 21:12values, guys, stress just decreases, it melts, you
- 21:15know, like a butter, uh, by a hot
- 21:18flame.
- 21:18You don't have to fight against yourself anymore.
- 21:21Guys realize that you have the choice.
- 21:24You have the opportunity to move forward.
- 21:27Regardless of what other people are saying around
- 21:30you, that's all just monkey chatter.
- 21:33Okay.
- 21:33That's what you have to realize.
- 21:35You are stronger than that.
- 21:38Okay.
- 21:38Cause they're going to be people that are
- 21:40going to knock you off your game.
- 21:41Whether you're in football, whether you're in baseball,
- 21:43basketball, or whether you're just in life, people
- 21:45are going to do this.
- 21:46It's just life as a game.
- 21:48I don't want to knock somebody off, but
- 21:50what do I do when I'm competitive?
- 21:52I'm knocking them off, but I'm not being
- 21:54rude.
- 21:54I'm being competitive.
- 21:56What a lot of these people are doing
- 21:57on social media is they're being vindictive.
- 22:00They're being rude.
- 22:02Uh, there being some words that I'm not
- 22:04going to mention here, like four letter words,
- 22:06because they have a very big EGO and
- 22:10I'm just going to tell you that.
- 22:11Right.
- 22:12I always tell you guys can like me.
- 22:13You can love me.
- 22:14You can hate me.
- 22:14I don't care.
- 22:15Of course I like you to love me,
- 22:16but I realize that you may not be
- 22:20in alignment with me and that's okay.
- 22:24Number 28.
- 22:27Sharpen judgment.
- 22:29That's what integrity does.
- 22:30When you live with a true integrity, you
- 22:34become better at making decisions because your trust,
- 22:37your values, and your instincts are more congruent.
- 22:41They're more in a line.
- 22:44You can't get an alignment in two minutes
- 22:46to be in alignment.
- 22:49You need to have awareness and not just
- 22:52of yourself of many other things.
- 22:54And then when you get an alignment, do
- 22:57you recognize things that have to change or
- 23:00do you suddenly say, Oh, wait a minute,
- 23:01I'm perfect.
- 23:03Cause I'm far from perfect.
- 23:05I'm always looking to become better.
- 23:07Help you become better version of themselves.
- 23:08Help me become better version of themselves.
- 23:10That's where my slogan comes from.
- 23:12Believemeachieve.com.
- 23:14Number 29 guys being real beats being liked.
- 23:19I'll be real and authentic any day over
- 23:22worrying about who likes me.
- 23:25People respect authenticity more than they respect the
- 23:29facade.
- 23:31Okay.
- 23:32The facade, you know, when you think about,
- 23:34um, let's say an edge on a building
- 23:37could be an awning coping or something, or
- 23:39the facade, meaning, uh, the extension of you
- 23:43that really isn't you, it's a false front
- 23:45you put on because, well, you're trying to
- 23:48hide the you that you don't want people
- 23:50to see.
- 23:51Being real is far more valuable than being
- 23:55liked.
- 23:55And if you don't believe that you need
- 23:59to change, because if you're waiting for every
- 24:02person to pat you on the back, shake
- 24:04your head, Oh, good job, John.
- 24:05Good job.
- 24:06Good job.
- 24:06You're going to wait all day and you're
- 24:08going to burn yourself down.
- 24:12I'm just being honest.
- 24:14You might not want to hear that.
- 24:17And a lot of times I say things
- 24:18on this program that you might not want
- 24:19to hear, but I think that's why it's
- 24:21a good program that helps you grow.
- 24:23Number 30 guys, integrity creates direction.
- 24:28Direction.
- 24:29It gives us focus.
- 24:31Integrity not only creates the peace, but also
- 24:33gives us a clear sense of direction.
- 24:38When we understand a problem, we understand a
- 24:41situation.
- 24:43We can gain the resources and we can
- 24:45very quickly figure out what direction we need
- 24:49to go.
- 24:50You know where you're going and why you're
- 24:54going when you have direction.
- 24:57But I'm going to tell you that direction
- 24:59is not something you get overnight.
- 25:00It's not something that you get by, you
- 25:03know, buying it on Amazon or going to
- 25:05your local food store.
- 25:06Direction is something you have to experience with
- 25:11your mind and your body.
- 25:15But the question people ask me is John,
- 25:17you know, why didn't you get these realizations
- 25:20when you were 10 or when you were
- 25:2121?
- 25:23And back then I probably would have said
- 25:26because I didn't want to.
- 25:28Now I'm going to give you the truthful
- 25:29answer.
- 25:30The reason that I didn't get these perceptions
- 25:34back then is I was too busy worrying
- 25:39about everything else around me.
- 25:41And I hadn't developed a sense of appreciating
- 25:44awareness.
- 25:46There's always something that's happened to me in
- 25:47the last five or 10 years, guys.
- 25:49It's not something I've had my whole life,
- 25:51but it's something that will carry me forever
- 25:55and something that has one of the biggest
- 25:57assets that I've learned.
- 25:59And I love to teach other people how
- 26:00to be aware because when we can be
- 26:04aware, we can gain the data, we can
- 26:09get the numerical values.
- 26:11And when we can measure something, guys, guess
- 26:14what we can do?
- 26:15We can change it because we can measure
- 26:18it.
- 26:19Now we can alter something to change it.
- 26:23The best example I can give you is
- 26:24biofeedback.
- 26:25I don't know if you guys have ever
- 26:25done biofeedback.
- 26:26So I did this many, many years ago.
- 26:29I remember going to Willowbrook Mall and paying,
- 26:32I think it was at the time, I
- 26:34think I paid like $120 or $150 for
- 26:37this nice little bag with this little tiny
- 26:40thing, I still have it, with the little
- 26:41headphones and the little thing that goes around
- 26:44your finger.
- 26:45And what it does is it measures your
- 26:47biofeedback.
- 26:49And again, if we can know from the
- 26:52sounds and we can control it, we can
- 26:57affect our stress level.
- 26:58We can get ourselves into a lower level.
- 27:00We can lower our brainwaves.
- 27:03That's pretty cool.
- 27:05Right?
- 27:07Well, guys, this has been very interesting.
- 27:09And at the core of every decision we
- 27:11make, there's a choice, the choice to act
- 27:14with integrity or to act out of image.
- 27:17And to not act, guys, is to act,
- 27:20just in case you were thinking, well, I'm
- 27:21not gonna do anything.
- 27:22Well, you're still acting if you don't act.
- 27:24When we choose integrity, we choose to be
- 27:26rooted in something far more powerful than temporary
- 27:29approval or validation from others.
- 27:32Integrity builds strength, clarity, and confidence over time.
- 27:35It transforms the way we interact with the
- 27:37world and how we view ourselves.
- 27:40The key takeaway is simple.
- 27:41Let your character, not your image, define you.
- 27:44Be consistent.
- 27:44Be true to your values.
- 27:45And in doing so, you will create lasting
- 27:48impact in every area of your life.
