Locust Grove Fire Burns 750 Acres | Seattle News
A massive wildfire erupted near Kennewick, Benton County, on Thursday night, burning over 750 acres and forcing level 2 and 3 evacuations before crews finally contained it by 1 AM Friday. Though no homes were lost, fences and utility poles were damaged, and smoke shut down parts of State Route 397. Firefighters are still doing mop-up with state support, and local partners like Kennewick and the Red Cross helped manage evacuations. Stay clear of the area until cleanup is complete.
