  Speaker 1: week right, and I kind of like mini isolated myself,

  Speaker 1: and that goes against everything I believe in. A man

  Speaker 1: was supposed to connect stay connected. So I thought about it.

  Speaker 1: I was like, well, this is a lesson learned a man.

  Speaker 1: And what did I do? Went to the word, got

  Speaker 1: encouraged by our brother some brothers in Christ. I got

  Speaker 1: encouraged by some sisters in Christ as well. Amen, and

  Speaker 1: my family didn't know exactly what was going on. So

  Speaker 1: I was in real open and man, I was trying

  Speaker 1: to be a strong, strong individual, y, a strong man

  Speaker 1: for the family, not letting people know what's going on.

  Speaker 1: And that's not the way it is. The word of

  Speaker 1: when you're having a tough week, and last week was

  Speaker 1: tough for me, Hopefully you know you had a better

  Speaker 1: week than me. Turning to the word of God can

  Speaker 1: bring comfort, strength and peace. Turning to the Word of

  Speaker 1: God could bring comfort, strength and peace. We're going to

  Speaker 1: be in John chapter fourteen, verse number twenty seven. We

  Speaker 1: to hear what the Lord Jesus says about these times,

  Speaker 1: these tough times, these tough weeks. And I realized, and

  Speaker 1: I always realized this that if I'm going through something,

  Speaker 1: that means there's many more like me going through the

  Speaker 1: same thing. There's no way that you go through anything

  Speaker 1: and this life alone, like if you're the only one

  Speaker 1: experiencing what you're experiencing. Amen. So God is good, the

  Speaker 1: connected by faith, We're connected to the Lord. We're connected

  Speaker 1: and perfect union with Christ by way of Holy Spirit.

  Speaker 1: I'm saying it and I live it. But sometimes, like

  Speaker 1: I always say, not a lot of evangelists or Christian

  Speaker 1: podcasters will get all their platform and say, yeah, I

  Speaker 1: had a tough day or a tough week. Well, like
• 3:03
  Speaker 1: if everything is all good all the time, that's impossible, Amen.

  Speaker 1: And hopefully people will get more realistic with their lives,

  Speaker 1: even on social media, on platforms or whatever they're trying
• 3:15
  Speaker 1: to do, be realistic. We all know that there's good
• 3:19
  Speaker 1: days and there's bad days, but we all know as
• 3:21
  Speaker 1: believers that we're never alone and that we are connected
• 3:24
  Speaker 1: to the Lord who could give us comfort, peace and
• 3:26
  Speaker 1: strength through this situation, through whatever we're facing. Amen, And

  Speaker 1: that's what really counts. We're going to be a John

  Speaker 1: After we pray, we'll shed this out for like sixty seconds,

  Speaker 1: get right into the word that God has for us today. Amen,

  Speaker 1: you ready, Father. Thank you so much that even though

  Speaker 1: we experience things in life, days go by, sometimes people
• 3:55
  Speaker 1: don't know that we're struggling, but you, Lord God, and
• 3:59
  Speaker 1: you know it all. And thank you Jesus that we

  Speaker 1: could go to you in any situation, at any time
• 4:04
  Speaker 1: two four seven. We could go to you and cast
• 4:07
  Speaker 1: all our worries and burdens onto you. Thank you so much,

  Speaker 1: Lo God for guiding us, protecting us, showing us who

  Speaker 1: you are, your love, your grace, and your mercy everything

  Speaker 1: experiencing things that you know, life hits us from every angle, no,

  Speaker 1: southeast and west. But we have a God who puts

  Speaker 1: access on every angle, No, southeast and west. We are
• 7:03
  Speaker 1: fully protected, we are guided, we are guarded. What happens is,

  Speaker 1: at least from my experiences, is that we forget quickly
• 7:11
  Speaker 1: who we are when we're facing issues in life. And
• 7:14
  Speaker 1: we're not supposed to forget. I'm not supposed to forget
• 7:16
  Speaker 1: who I am just because something opposes who I am
• 7:20
  Speaker 1: in life, right, And I hope you don't forget who
• 7:23
  Speaker 1: you are in life when things happen as well to
• 7:25
  Speaker 1: your life. So when you're having a tough week, right,

  Speaker 1: turning to the Word of God can bring comfort, strength
• 7:33
  Speaker 1: and peace. And Jesus speaks this out and John fourteen,
• 7:37
  Speaker 1: and let's see it in the scriptures. Amen. I think

  Speaker 1: that he is the living Word, that what he says
• 7:43
  Speaker 1: is a thing, and it will happen, that what he
• 7:45
  Speaker 1: says is true. What he knows about us, and what

  Speaker 1: he knows about humanity is all one hundred percent true. Amen.

  Speaker 1: And he's on his word. A word never returns back

  Speaker 1: going through a tough week. Is impossible for me to

  Speaker 1: be the only one. So I sought the Lord and
• 8:29
  Speaker 1: he spoke here John fourteen twenty seven. Peace I leave

  Speaker 1: with you. This is our Lord Jesus speaking to us. Peace.

  Speaker 1: I leave with you my peace. I give to you.

  Speaker 1: Not as the world gives, do I give to you.
• 8:49
  Speaker 1: Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

  Speaker 1: So it seems like when your heart is troubled, fear

  Speaker 1: and all these other emotions start trying to come in
• 9:03
  Speaker 1: to the situation. But when you focus on the Prince
• 9:07
  Speaker 1: of Peace, he will leave us with the peace. He

  Speaker 1: will leave us with the peace that the world cannot
• 9:15
  Speaker 1: give us. And the world does not really understand if
• 9:19
  Speaker 1: you think about it. So we have the peace of
• 9:21
  Speaker 1: God in every single situation, whether you're having a good
• 9:25
  Speaker 1: day or a bad day, where you're having a good
• 9:26
  Speaker 1: week or a bad week, where you're going through things
• 9:30
  Speaker 1: that people might not know what you're going through. But
• 9:32
  Speaker 1: The Lord sees what we're going through. He knows our hearts,
• 9:35
  Speaker 1: he sees our troubles. He speaks to our situation. He
• 9:39
  Speaker 1: speaks through our situation. He'll get with us through a storm.
• 9:43
  Speaker 1: He's with us in our troubles. He's not like outside
• 9:47
  Speaker 1: with his hands fold you're just looking at us and saying, well,
• 9:50
  Speaker 1: you get ahead and figure out yourself because I'm out
• 9:52
  Speaker 1: of here. That's not the God that we serve. We
• 9:53
  Speaker 1: serve aw so mighty, holy, righteous, loving God who's there
• 9:57
  Speaker 1: in a time of need. Amen. Know that from experience,

  Speaker 1: and I know many people that's listening right now. You

  Speaker 1: know it from experience as well. Right. You know that
• 10:06
  Speaker 1: God is faithful, You know that God is real. You

  Speaker 1: know that he's approachable. Amen. Weird thing about God being

  Speaker 1: approachable is that that's a beautiful thing, an amazing thing.

  Speaker 1: And then yet there's people in positions and authority in
• 10:22
  Speaker 1: ministry that act like they're unapproachable. Let not that be me, Amen,
• 10:27
  Speaker 1: I'm approachable, Amen. So let that be the person you
• 10:31
  Speaker 1: are too approachable when you're going through a hard time,
• 10:34
  Speaker 1: minister serves somebody else, Amen, Because best believe your blessing
• 10:39
  Speaker 1: is on the way best believe the Principiece is on

  Speaker 1: your side and working through every single situation that you're
• 10:45
  Speaker 1: facing as well. You're not alone, so go ahead. You
• 10:48
  Speaker 1: might as well help somebody else. When I don't have

  Speaker 1: enough money to cover all my bills, I go ahead
• 10:53
  Speaker 1: and sow accede into somebody. I know that sounds weird, Amen,

  Speaker 1: but I believe God sees those things men, and he'll

  Speaker 1: talents treasure, Amen, when you're running low and see what happens.

  Speaker 1: And when you're doing it with a good heart, a

  Speaker 1: right heart, a compassion and passion after people, God will

  Speaker 1: bless that. So when you're having a tough week, turn

  Speaker 1: into the word of God can bring you strength and peace.

  Speaker 1: Let me give you some scriptures outside of what the
• 11:26
  Speaker 1: Lord just said, even though he is a finalizer of
• 11:29
  Speaker 1: all these scriptures as well. And Isaiah forty one tent
• 11:32
  Speaker 1: the Bible says, fear not, for I am with you.
• 11:36
  Speaker 1: Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I God
• 11:41
  Speaker 1: will strengthen you, I will help you. I will uphold
• 11:44
  Speaker 1: you with my righteous right hand. That's an amazing scripture
• 11:50
  Speaker 1: to read when times is hard, when you're going through
• 11:53
  Speaker 1: a situation that's difficult when you find yourself getting weak
• 11:56
  Speaker 1: in your faith, weak in your situation week and you're
• 12:01
  Speaker 1: a position with God even though no one or nothing
• 12:05
  Speaker 1: could snatch us out of the hand of our Lord. Amen.

  Speaker 1: But you know what I mean. When life hits you
• 12:10
  Speaker 1: start thinking, especially when the enemy is speaking and you're
• 12:13
  Speaker 1: listening to the enemy, or maybe you're focusing on a
• 12:16
  Speaker 1: problem instead of focusing on the problem solver. We need
• 12:20
  Speaker 1: to focus on the one who could fix everything and
• 12:24
  Speaker 1: really realize that even when we're facing big issues and
• 12:28
  Speaker 1: big problems peace. Who wouldn't want peace? I want peace
• 12:33
  Speaker 1: every day, But in this world, a peace is always
• 12:38
  Speaker 1: being challenged. Amen. In this world, our peace is always
• 12:42
  Speaker 1: being challenged. The Word of God says, and first, I
• 12:46
  Speaker 1: mean excuse me and John fourteen twenty seven, we've read
• 12:48
  Speaker 1: that because we go to the peacemaker, we go to
• 12:51
  Speaker 1: the Prince of peace when our piece is being challenged.
• 12:54
  Speaker 1: In Psalm forty six, verses one and two, the Bible
• 12:58
  Speaker 1: says God is our refuge and strength, a very present
• 13:02
  Speaker 1: help and trouble. Don't fear because we also know that
• 13:07
  Speaker 1: God is a very present God. When our troubles are here.

  Speaker 1: And Cheryl gave us also a scripture Philippians chapter four,
• 13:18
  Speaker 1: six and seven. Yes, yep, I think that's the anxious scripture. Right,

  Speaker 1: do not be anxious about anything. The Bible says, but
• 13:27
  Speaker 1: in everything, by prayer, everything, and I believe everything. Right.

  Speaker 1: He means everything through prayer, supplication. That means praying for
• 13:36
  Speaker 1: other people, thanksgiving. Let your requests be made known to God.

  Speaker 1: The thing is that he knows anyway, But he's just

  Speaker 1: strengthening in our faith because we know we could go
• 13:50
  Speaker 1: to a heavenly father who loves us, who will never

  Speaker 1: turn his back on us. A man, you ever love

  Speaker 1: That hurts, But does that amen? He never turns his

  Speaker 1: back on his children, And that's just amazing. He never

  Speaker 1: a tough week, Amen, you could go to the word

  Speaker 1: of God. And the Word is amazing. So if you

  Speaker 1: have anxiety, there's a word for that. Fear, there's a
• 14:24
  Speaker 1: word for that. If you have lack of your life,
• 14:26
  Speaker 1: there's word for that. If you need wisdom, there's word
• 14:28
  Speaker 1: for that. If you need guidance, there's a word for that. Amen.

  Speaker 1: If you are depressed, as a word for that. So
• 14:36
  Speaker 1: we have something better than AI. It's always going to
• 14:39
  Speaker 1: be better than AI. Always going to be better than
• 14:42
  Speaker 1: Google or YouTube searches, always going to be better than
• 14:45
  Speaker 1: TikTok and Instagram, always going to be the best thing
• 14:48
  Speaker 1: to do is always go to the Word of God.

  Speaker 1: You might be thinking, well, the Word of God's not
• 14:53
  Speaker 1: going to connect or I don't know how to connect
• 14:55
  Speaker 1: with the Word. Amen, just go to it anyway, regardless
• 14:58
  Speaker 1: of how you feel. Our faith will take us to
• 15:01
  Speaker 1: a place of rescue. Our faith will take us to
• 15:04
  Speaker 1: a place of peace. Our faith will take us to
• 15:07
  Speaker 1: the Lord Jesus, because he is ultimately faith. He is
• 15:11
  Speaker 1: who we pray to, He is who covers us, he
• 15:14
  Speaker 1: is who protects us, guides us every single day of
• 15:17
  Speaker 1: our lives. Believe that trust that I mean, think about it.
• 15:22
  Speaker 1: I know for me, I tried so many things in
• 15:24
  Speaker 1: life to get satisfaction for my soul. None of it worked. Sex, drugs, alcohol, money, fame, fortune, music,
• 15:33
  Speaker 1: all that stuff. It didn't do what I thought it
• 15:36
  Speaker 1: would be able to do. And that was to complete me,
• 15:39
  Speaker 1: to satisfy me. Holy never did so. I've been lied
• 15:42
  Speaker 1: to so many times at that point that I said,
• 15:45
  Speaker 1: there has to be something more. And that's literally how
• 15:47
  Speaker 1: it came to faith in the Lord. I had brothers
• 15:51
  Speaker 1: and from the church area church that I was in
• 15:56
  Speaker 1: ministering to, he witnesses me, involving me in their events.
• 16:00
  Speaker 1: Though they knew I was a sinner and that I
• 16:02
  Speaker 1: was far from God, they opened the door for me
• 16:04
  Speaker 1: to see the goodness of God, to see the mercy
• 16:07
  Speaker 1: and the grace of God. Amen. And it just it
• 16:10
  Speaker 1: clicked one day. And that was after three years of
• 16:13
  Speaker 1: them witnessing to my life. They know what I was doing.
• 16:17
  Speaker 1: They knew I was not qualified, you know, by whatever
• 16:22
  Speaker 1: qualifications they were, but they used God's word, they used
• 16:26
  Speaker 1: God's love, his grace's mercy anyway to show me the
• 16:30
  Speaker 1: way to get to the Father and to the Lord. Amen.
• 16:34
  Speaker 1: And I took that chance. To thank you, Jesus. I
• 16:36
  Speaker 1: pray that you would take that chance if you have
• 16:38
  Speaker 1: not yet solidified your relationship with Jesus. I pray right
• 16:42
  Speaker 1: now that you would whatever regardless of what you're going through,
• 16:45
  Speaker 1: regardless of what you've done, it meant, I pray right
• 16:48
  Speaker 1: now that you would take the opportunity right now, because
• 16:52
  Speaker 1: tomorrow's not promised to get into a personal, loving relationship
• 16:56
  Speaker 1: with the eternal One, the one who offers you eternal life,
• 16:59
  Speaker 1: the one who forgives you for all your sins, past,
• 17:02
  Speaker 1: present and future, the one who will lead you, guide
• 17:04
  Speaker 1: you by way of His Holy Spirit. Get into a
• 17:07
  Speaker 1: personal relationship with him today. Tomorrow's not promised. Today's the
• 17:11
  Speaker 1: day of salvation. How do you do that, Sam Well,
• 17:15
  Speaker 1: you simply admit that you need Jesus, admit that you're
• 17:19
  Speaker 1: a sinner, and you need the forgiveness of God to
• 17:21
  Speaker 1: forgive you and cleanse you from all that wickedness and
• 17:24
  Speaker 1: cleanse you from all that sin. And He'll do it.
• 17:27
  Speaker 1: And then you'll believe in this word. The Word of
• 17:30
  Speaker 1: God will just come popping out of the pages, because
• 17:33
  Speaker 1: now you'll be filled with Holy Spirit God, and now
• 17:35
  Speaker 1: you can understand spirit your things. And then you're goetn't
• 17:38
  Speaker 1: want to confess Jesus as your personal Lord and savior
• 17:41
  Speaker 1: everywhere you go because you're filled with His spirit. You're
• 17:44
  Speaker 1: being new, You're made new a man, You're a new creation.
• 17:47
  Speaker 1: And all these things will continue to just develop in
• 17:50
  Speaker 1: you a new person, and you will be completely satisfied
• 17:54
  Speaker 1: in your soul. Amen. Cheryl says, Praise God and praise you.

  Speaker 1: I to Christ, and I will be forever greatful. All

  Speaker 1: is a faithful guy. He's a patient God. Amen. So

  Speaker 1: a tough week with anxiety and worry, we have a

  Speaker 1: word for that one Peter five to seven. Cast all

  Speaker 1: your anxieties on him. Literally, the Bible says, cast all
• 18:53
  Speaker 1: your burdens, your anxieties, your worries on him. Why because
• 18:57
  Speaker 1: he can handle it. I can handle it. Amen. He

  Speaker 1: cares for you. That's the reason why we could do this.

  Speaker 1: That's the reason why he's asking us to cast all
• 19:10
  Speaker 1: the burdens of life onto him. You're having a tough week.

  Speaker 1: Let God know he sees you. That's the amazing thing
• 19:17
  Speaker 1: about guys that he sees us. He responds, he renews,
• 19:21
  Speaker 1: he restores, he redeems, he re ignites us with the
• 19:26
  Speaker 1: fire and the passion that we had from the very
• 19:29
  Speaker 1: first time we were saved. He's our first love, and

  Speaker 1: he's our true love, and he knows us deeply, and
• 19:35
  Speaker 1: he really recognizes our frailty, right, but he doesn't shove
• 19:39
  Speaker 1: it on our face, throwing on our face, Oh you're
• 19:41
  Speaker 1: just you know, frail, or you're just weak. He doesn't
• 19:44
  Speaker 1: speak to you, at least he never spoke to me
• 19:46

  Speaker 1: king of kings, princip piece, a wonderful counselor. We have

  Speaker 1: a guidance counselor living inside of us, holy spirit God

  Speaker 1: that's leading us even in the toughest times of our lives.

  Speaker 1: Life is gonna hit. We're gonna lose loved ones, this

  Speaker 1: and that's gonna happen. But if we stay focused on

  Speaker 1: the eternal One, we'll have an eternal perspective and we

  Speaker 1: could really walk in victory in a greater way a

  Speaker 1: man and take the high road instead of taking the

  Speaker 1: low road. We could have a high perspective instead of

  Speaker 1: a low perspective. We could have we can have this energy,

  Speaker 1: us forward even when we're going through the toughest time.

  Speaker 1: a lot of evangelists that have these kind of platforms.

  Speaker 1: There's a lot of them act like they have it

  Speaker 1: all together one hundred percent. I don't believe it. You

  Speaker 1: shouldn't believe it either. We all have a God that

  Speaker 1: we could turn to. If God is asking us to

  Speaker 1: cast all our burdens to him, that means all of

  Speaker 1: us have burdens. I mean, it's obvious. So there's no

  Speaker 1: perfection other than the perfect one living inside of us

  Speaker 1: and we all children are God right when we put

  Speaker 1: our faith, hope and trust in the Lord Jesus. You

  Speaker 1: want hope, amen, trust in God's plan. You want to

  Speaker 1: overcome anxiety and worry. Pray to the God who could

  Speaker 1: take that away. You want peace in difficult times. You

  Speaker 1: want to go to the word of God when you're

  Speaker 1: having a tough week. Jesus said, peace I leave with you.

  Speaker 1: He leaves his peace with us on this side of eternity,

  Speaker 1: because on the other side we're going to have Him

  Speaker 1: for all eternity. On this side of eternity, we're still good.

  Speaker 1: We have the peace of God living inside of us.

  Speaker 1: And no one could take that away from us, no one,

  Speaker 1: not even ourselves. And man, we can't work our way

  Speaker 1: through other people who believe, who are brothers and sisters
