- 2:11Speaker 10: ranged from fifty one his oldest.
- 2:13Speaker 1: To zero months.
- 2:15Speaker 6: It allegedly worked for Robert de Narrow.
- 2:16Speaker 1: We don't know. Wait, Robert, is the baby gonna be black?
- 2:19Speaker 4: No?
- 2:20Speaker 9: Does the woman is Asian?
- 2:21Speaker 1: Dude? Oh? What is he talking? Because he has he
- 2:24Speaker 1: has black women?
- 2:25Speaker 10: He do he he's freaky smarried to black women.
- 2:29Speaker 4: Well, he's just like them all because you know, all
- 2:31Speaker 4: I'm saying is he's seventy nine, and I'm not trying
- 2:33Speaker 4: to joke, but I'm just like, damn bro, like bro,
- 2:36Speaker 4: seventy nine is really old to have a kid, because
- 2:38Speaker 4: how long does men normally live?
- 2:40Speaker 1: Like seventy nine And that's the kicker. Eighty eighty two.
- 2:46Speaker 9: That's the kicker right there, you know, having the parents.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Around looking like the old daddy. But he wasn't. He
- 2:52Speaker 1: won seventy nine. My dad was old.
- 2:56Speaker 6: I mean, do you really need your parents?
- 2:57Speaker 8: If you have like good family around you people, I
- 3:00Speaker 8: can still guide you.
- 3:01Speaker 1: And I would definitely want my dad right.
- 3:03Speaker 8: But if you don't have, if you didn't grow up
- 3:05Speaker 8: your dad, you probably wouldn't know until somebody made you
- 3:08Speaker 8: feel bad about it.
- 3:09Speaker 10: Well, you know this America, every black people joke about
- 3:12Speaker 10: you ain't got no daddy, don't that's like a black joke.
- 3:16Speaker 4: Well, I don't think white people joke about like you
- 3:18Speaker 4: have no father in your life.
- 3:20Speaker 1: I don't think so. I think jokes is jokes.
- 3:22Speaker 11: No.
- 3:23Speaker 4: You you go to school, they be like, well, at
- 3:24Speaker 4: least I got two parents at home.
- 3:26Speaker 1: You you don't even know who your dad is.
- 3:28Speaker 9: Oh, my gosh.
- 3:29Speaker 6: All right, right though.
- 3:30Speaker 5: You all I'm saying is high school Jack graduation, big dog,
- 3:34Speaker 5: You're gonna be there.
- 3:35Speaker 1: God, God, you're gonna be eighty nine. That's ninety six.
- 3:39Speaker 1: God will had congratulations at the graduation.
- 3:42Speaker 5: They'll be in that wheelchair like yeah, yeah, yeah, like
- 3:45Speaker 5: they like they was in Life for the movie The
- 3:47Speaker 5: Life hit it to the upper room.
- 3:49Speaker 1: By tell about their line about Jeezus, he's.
- 3:54Speaker 5: Gonna be right there, ready to go, so little one
- 3:58Speaker 5: walk across that stage. Boy, you're gonna kick the bucket. Okay,
- 4:02Speaker 5: we're gonna go. Prayers up for Jamie Fox? Could we
- 4:04Speaker 5: do some snaps for Jamie Fox? We do have some
- 4:07Speaker 5: intel from BT said something off camera? Can you saying
- 4:10Speaker 5: on camera?
- 4:10Speaker 1: Ser Yeah.
- 4:11Speaker 4: I talked to one of Fox's personal friends and because
- 4:16Speaker 4: I was nervous, I'm not gonna lie. I was hosting
- 4:18Speaker 4: the club last night and the DJ was like, Yo,
- 4:21Speaker 4: we want to do something for Jamie Fox and you know,
- 4:24Speaker 4: saying prayers up.
- 4:25Speaker 1: And I said, man, I don't want to do that.
- 4:27Speaker 4: I don't think I should say that on a microphone
- 4:29Speaker 4: because it sounds like he's in a bad place. Because
- 4:32Speaker 4: if you went on Twitter, yesterday, it was like he
- 4:35Speaker 4: was like trending number one about his health. So I
- 4:37Speaker 4: called one of his personal friends and I was like,
- 4:39Speaker 4: hey man, you know, I'm a little concerned because we
- 4:42Speaker 4: we've had news in the past about other people in
- 4:45Speaker 4: the culture that we thought were doing well, you know,
- 4:47Speaker 4: from the media, and it wasn't that case. And you know,
- 4:51Speaker 4: he said, Jamie Fox is good, that he's in good spirits,
- 4:53Speaker 4: and you know, uh, he said that, you know, Fox
- 4:56Speaker 4: is just a personal a private person, and he doesn't
- 5:00Speaker 4: That's just how he've always been. So he said, don't
- 5:02Speaker 4: believe all the stuff that you see on the internet,
- 5:04Speaker 4: because he said I talked to him almost every day.
- 5:07Speaker 8: I think the thing about it is people love him
- 5:09Speaker 8: so much that they want to make sure that they
- 5:12Speaker 8: are supporting. But I think whether you know his true
- 5:14Speaker 8: condition or not, just stay preyed up, wish the family.
- 5:17Speaker 6: Well and prayer.
- 5:19Speaker 4: Yeah, He's just didn't like the fact that people, you know,
- 5:22Speaker 4: saying that like talking like Fox is like damn near
- 5:25Speaker 4: like on his death bed, and he's like, that's not
- 5:27Speaker 4: the case.
- 5:27Speaker 1: He said, I just talked to him yesterday.
- 5:29Speaker 8: Well, there was a headline that was saying that, you know,
- 5:31Speaker 8: his family is preparing.
- 5:32Speaker 6: For the worst health declines.
- 5:34Speaker 4: You know.
- 5:35Speaker 8: So people were shocked by that, but nonetheless, the family
- 5:38Speaker 8: does not need to focus on any of the headlines,
- 5:41Speaker 8: and people don't need to be worried about what is
- 5:43Speaker 8: actually happening while the family is going through it. Just
- 5:45Speaker 8: stay preyed up, send them your love, and that's it.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Should I tell my favorite Jamie Fox, so they.
- 5:52Speaker 5: Be not the usual well yeah, unpredictable.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Babies.
- 6:00Speaker 5: Name is revealed after one of the Wu Tang's founding members, Rizza, Uh,
- 6:05Speaker 5: can we pronounce?
- 6:06Speaker 1: Can you help me pronounce this middle name? Though? I
- 6:08Speaker 1: think it's Mayors? So you said this about I think so?
- 6:13Speaker 9: Yeah, because so Rizza Alston Mayor.
- 6:16Speaker 6: I like that. I really like that name.
- 6:18Speaker 5: Sound like rz A has always rich.
- 6:24Speaker 10: Rizza has always been like a cool name, mysticol name.
- 6:27Speaker 1: A rich name. And I don't even think Rizza Isa's
- 6:29Speaker 1: real name though it's not.
- 6:32Speaker 10: But it's definitely a cool name, and it's it's very powerful.
- 6:36Speaker 10: It seems to me, like, you know, like when you
- 6:38Speaker 10: hear the Rizza, you know, even.
- 6:41Speaker 1: The whole thinking about karate.
- 6:43Speaker 4: Okay, I just think celebrities just can name their kids whatever.
- 6:47Speaker 4: They want to name them because they know that they're
- 6:49Speaker 4: going to be good. Like when I was coming up,
- 6:52Speaker 4: your parents would just name you anything and it would
- 6:54Speaker 4: be bad. And then you just go to your white
- 6:56Speaker 4: friend's house and like, what's your name? My name is Author.
- 7:00Speaker 4: Watch your family name you author? Because that's what I'm
- 7:02Speaker 4: put on my resume. I'm gonna get a good job.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Yeah, that is actually my dad's name.
- 7:09Speaker 9: Everybody has a nice names here.
- 7:12Speaker 5: Yeah on paper, sure, Byron Octavia.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Yeah, we could definitely go get corporate jobs on our resume.
- 7:21Speaker 9: For sure.
- 7:21Speaker 1: You don't know what I look like, Sean, is that
- 7:25Speaker 1: you had the game.
- 7:28Speaker 5: You know what I'm talking about. You're ready for me,
- 7:31Speaker 5: like what we thought you was. You know, they're definitely
- 7:34Speaker 5: not going to expect Oh listen, my listen.
- 7:39Speaker 4: When I went to school, all the people that I
- 7:42Speaker 4: only met two people named Barron, and they both was white,
- 7:44Speaker 4: and they probably looking at me like how'd you get that?
- 7:46Speaker 8: Man?
- 7:47Speaker 1: And the other persons from the movie played.
- 7:49Speaker 4: It now he ruled my name. But luckily that was
- 7:52Speaker 4: when I was going, you know, out of high school.
- 7:55Speaker 9: You know a ton of black Byrons.
- 7:56Speaker 1: I didn't know. Well, I grew up in Arkansas.
- 7:58Speaker 5: The second was from movie and then you're the second
- 8:02Speaker 5: Byron I've ever met. And then we got a Barron
- 8:04Speaker 5: one of the interns walking around in here.
- 8:06Speaker 1: There's a very rich man named Byron Allen, who you know,
- 8:09Speaker 1: Bron Allen, And it was a poor named Lord Byron too.
- 8:14Speaker 8: Oh God, when I jump into Uber, they'd be like Suzanne, like, yeah,
- 8:19Speaker 8: you wouldn't.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Expect that at all, Yes, and then.
- 8:22Speaker 8: They immediately go back to the hip hop station. I'd
- 8:24Speaker 8: be like friand you had to change.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Would you'all rename yourselves as y'all wanted to, or I.
- 8:29Speaker 4: Win the game myself unless it was like Lord Byron
- 8:33Speaker 4: or something where.
- 8:33Speaker 10: Your parents I'm guessing like relative for you Byron.
- 8:38Speaker 1: No, it actually came from white Man.
- 8:40Speaker 5: Oh, my mom named me after Sean Connery, the actor
- 8:44Speaker 5: that's e A and Sean Connery.
- 8:46Speaker 1: My mom was friends with this white dude she used
- 8:48Speaker 1: to gamble with. It's her favorite actor, Sean Connery.
- 8:50Speaker 9: But what did you say your mom had new a gambler.
- 8:53Speaker 4: Yeah, so my mom used to gamble and this white
- 8:56Speaker 4: dude that she was friends with.
- 8:58Speaker 1: That's that's how they was friends. Though she was like Byron,
- 9:01Speaker 1: there you go, she went a lot with them. Yeah, okay,
- 9:06Speaker 1: maybe here a good luck charge. Yeah, I have no idea.
- 9:09Speaker 4: I never gambled, because my mom actually got shot behind gambling. Yeah,
- 9:15Speaker 4: she got shot as behind gambling.
- 9:18Speaker 9: Did she lose or something or she no?
- 9:19Speaker 4: So she was gambling with someone and I guess apparently
- 9:23Speaker 4: the people that was there that one of the guys
- 9:26Speaker 4: owed somebody some money, so they you know, kicked the
- 9:29Speaker 4: gambling house in and just started shooting.
- 9:31Speaker 1: But they were trying to shoot him, right, and she.
- 9:33Speaker 8: Got yes, you said she got shot in the Assasi.
- 9:37Speaker 1: My mama lived through some crazy Kansas.
- 9:40Speaker 9: Where your name came from.
- 9:41Speaker 6: My mama let my sister name me.
- 9:43Speaker 8: So by the time my mama had me, they had
- 9:45Speaker 8: been in America for like eight months because my mom
- 9:48Speaker 8: came to the States pregnant and my sister had a
- 9:50Speaker 8: Susanne in her class and was like.
- 9:52Speaker 6: I like this name Suzanna and she was like, all right,
- 9:54Speaker 6: that's dope. I guess. I guess.
- 9:58Speaker 8: So it's very Caucasian to be first generation American.
- 10:01Speaker 6: They went all the way right generation.
- 10:04Speaker 5: American in my family to my family from the Islands.
- 10:08Speaker 11: Yeah, your name came from Oh yeah, I was waiting
- 10:12Speaker 11: on somebody to ask, Okay, well, my name came from
- 10:15Speaker 11: a street in California and San Francisco named Octavia.
- 10:19Speaker 9: If you go there you will find it.
- 10:21Speaker 1: So you go there and be like, yo, this is
- 10:22Speaker 1: my street.
- 10:23Speaker 10: Actually have a picture by it. You know, I'm originally
- 10:26Speaker 10: from California. No, it's just uh, it's just a street
- 10:30Speaker 10: name Octavia. And there's actually a street name Nactavia Plaza,
- 10:34Speaker 10: Orleans too. My homegirl from a New Orleans send me
- 10:38Speaker 10: a picture of my name.
- 10:40Speaker 9: But it's it's very uh. I think it's Roman, you know.
- 10:46Speaker 1: So yeah, because it's it's.
- 10:52Speaker 9: My name on there.
- 10:52Speaker 10: And my dad had an old Mustang and he couldn't
- 10:55Speaker 10: you know, in San Francisco they have steep heels, so
- 10:59Speaker 10: he couldn't get hard to start, and he was trying
- 11:02Speaker 10: to get up a hill and so he was like, Lord,
- 11:05Speaker 10: if I name, if I if I get up this
- 11:07Speaker 10: hill on the name my baby after this street. And that's.
- 11:12Speaker 1: A crazy story.
- 11:13Speaker 4: You should go around and let people know that you're
- 11:16Speaker 4: the street is named after you, so that you know
- 11:19Speaker 4: you can go to get.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Some free car to walk around and tell people.
- 11:21Speaker 4: I want her to go into stores and be like, yo,
- 11:23Speaker 4: y'all know this street is named after me. And if
- 11:25Speaker 4: it wasn't for me, y'all business, definitely.
- 11:27Speaker 5: Take a trip to Octavia here yea here, yeah, in
- 11:31Speaker 5: San Francisco.
- 11:34Speaker 1: For the world.
- 11:35Speaker 10: It's all over you know, the United States and the street,
- 11:37Speaker 10: Like I said, my homegirl, she's from New Orleans and
- 11:40Speaker 10: she sent me a picture of my name on the street.
- 11:43Speaker 10: Like I said, it's it's Romans, so uh, it comes
- 11:46Speaker 10: from you know, those times like when you go to
- 11:49Speaker 10: when you go to different places like the DC.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Princess George, everybody you don't.
- 11:55Speaker 10: Octavia, you now, women can't be lords.
- 12:05Speaker 1: But well, everybody's watching this tour.
- 12:08Speaker 9: That Beyonce is on right now.
- 12:11Speaker 10: She's officially kicked off in Stockholm, Sweden. Some of the
- 12:14Speaker 10: clips are flooding social media right now, and all our
- 12:17Speaker 10: reactions are not giving the greatest reactions. They I guess
- 12:22Speaker 10: they expect more from Beyonce. They've been waiting. They haven't
- 12:25Speaker 10: seen any visuals from the Renaissance album. And I guess
- 12:29Speaker 10: whatever their expectations were, they are.
- 12:33Speaker 1: No longer in her twenties.
- 12:34Speaker 6: Got that's not what it is. That's not what it is.
- 12:38Speaker 10: But some people in the comments are saying they think
- 12:40Speaker 10: that this may be her last tour.
- 12:43Speaker 6: The tickets cost a house.
- 12:45Speaker 8: People want to see magic and sometimes Beyonce does not
- 12:50Speaker 8: change her dance routines, like that is very real. What
- 12:52Speaker 8: she will do is bring in something trendy, like for example,
- 12:56Speaker 8: she showed love to lil Uzi and did the you know,
- 12:59Speaker 8: did that dance or whatever?
- 13:02Speaker 6: Yea, yeah, all that.
- 13:03Speaker 8: But like if we're gonna keep it real, she has
- 13:08Speaker 8: a pretty consistent show every tour, Like and by consistent,
- 13:12Speaker 8: I mean you kind of know a dance move she's
- 13:14Speaker 8: gonna do. You kind of know how the pyro action
- 13:16Speaker 8: is gonna go. But I think she gives her all
- 13:19Speaker 8: the time. The clips that I've seen, she's been extremely energetic.
- 13:23Speaker 10: And not only that, a lot of people are looking
- 13:25Speaker 10: for some of her old dancers. In the comments I
- 13:27Speaker 10: was scanning, they're like, oh, we're such and such words.
- 13:29Speaker 4: Man, if people get new dancers all the time, like
- 13:32Speaker 4: nobody's gonna some dancers are just like domestic dancers. And
- 13:36Speaker 4: then you know, you go across season, you get the
- 13:38Speaker 4: international dances.
- 13:40Speaker 10: Like you said, she may have picked up some of
- 13:41Speaker 10: the overseas dancers too, you know, to be you know,
- 13:44Speaker 10: inclusive or whatever, but not only that, it's the first show.
- 13:47Speaker 1: And that's what I was getting to ye, I think, you.
- 13:49Speaker 10: Know, sometimes a lot of things go wrong when when
- 13:52Speaker 10: you know things kick off, but you know, just give
- 13:54Speaker 10: it a chance, just let it, let it grow. I'm
- 13:56Speaker 10: pretty sure you know stuff will start picking up.
- 13:58Speaker 5: Yeah, relaxed people, because what I learned is that when
- 14:01Speaker 5: most people go on tour, they always start off with
- 14:03Speaker 5: small markets so they can perfect the show.
- 14:06Speaker 1: That's what a lot of people don't understand.
- 14:07Speaker 4: So when you see people going tour, they always start
- 14:10Speaker 4: the small markets and later on down the line on
- 14:12Speaker 4: the tour they go to the big markets.
- 14:14Speaker 10: And it's Beyonce, you know what I'm saying, She's gonna
- 14:15Speaker 10: have the best of the best and she I feel
- 14:18Speaker 10: like it will grow into like something iconic because look
- 14:22Speaker 10: at us your show. I'm pretty sure the way that
- 14:23Speaker 10: it is is now was not how it was when
- 14:26Speaker 10: it first started.
- 14:26Speaker 1: In Bags.
- 14:27Speaker 5: People change their show up all the time, and it's
- 14:30Speaker 5: beyond y'all get to see Beyonce, man.
- 14:31Speaker 6: Damn they paid for it.
- 14:33Speaker 8: But though Beyonce has actually been known to like keep
- 14:37Speaker 8: the same dancers for a very long time, if you
- 14:39Speaker 8: go back videos, yeah, you'll see the same people over
- 14:44Speaker 8: and no.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Shit, they probably got old movie right along.
- 14:49Speaker 10: Suspect in Young Dolph's murder, Hernandez Govan, has a bond
- 14:54Speaker 10: set to ninety K. He was charged with first degree
- 14:58Speaker 10: murder and conspiracy to commit first degree murder.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Not enough. I mean, I don't think he gonna bond
- 15:03Speaker 1: out anyways.
- 15:04Speaker 5: If he does get if he if this guy does
- 15:08Speaker 5: make bail or post his bill, you know the streets.
- 15:12Speaker 9: Will you need to find a safe house.
- 15:14Speaker 6: It ain't safe.
- 15:15Speaker 1: It ain't safe for him.
- 15:16Speaker 4: I just don't understand how these guys allegedly get hired
- 15:21Speaker 4: to commit murder but they can't post their own bill.
- 15:24Speaker 5: Well, let's just say this, A lot of people commit
- 15:27Speaker 5: murder and uh never get caught. Uh It's like it's
- 15:32Speaker 5: a high it's the highest chance you get caught, but
- 15:34Speaker 5: it's also a chance you don't get caught as well,
- 15:36Speaker 5: and you get you get paid for it, and then
- 15:37Speaker 5: street justice happens and then you get killed down the line.
- 15:40Speaker 5: So we always see like retaliation murders. We don't even
- 15:43Speaker 5: know what these murders be happening, but it's a retaliation
- 15:46Speaker 5: from a murder that happened prior to that. So a
- 15:48Speaker 5: lot of street stuff happens and we don't even know
- 15:50Speaker 5: because we're not in the streets.
- 15:52Speaker 8: And they probably don't want to use any of that
- 15:54Speaker 8: money on bail. Maybe they're in a desperate situation and
- 15:57Speaker 8: will rather give them money to their family, like they
- 15:59Speaker 8: may have making the job that money.
- 16:02Speaker 4: I don't understand how people still commend crimes when there's
- 16:05Speaker 4: cameras everywhere. We used to just go to Kroger's and
- 16:09Speaker 4: try to steal some candy and then they'd be like, hey,
- 16:11Speaker 4: it's a camera watching you right in four Na's.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Camera at the stoplight.
- 16:15Speaker 10: Cameras, camera get more advanced because of AI.
- 16:19Speaker 9: Yeah, artificial intelligence about to change the whole.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Life is coming. You see what they do in China.
- 16:24Speaker 4: Well, in China that the video on you walking, they
- 16:27Speaker 4: have your face, your face recognition, So if you ever
- 16:30Speaker 4: committed a crime, you're going to get caught the same
- 16:32Speaker 4: day because there's cameras scanning your face.
- 16:36Speaker 1: And just in your car. Yeah, and and going to
- 16:39Speaker 1: be on the new iPhone too.
- 16:40Speaker 4: Well, listen, they already got they already scanning people's phases.
- 16:43Speaker 4: And when you go to the airport and go to Delta.
- 16:46Speaker 4: Because I don't understand that line, then.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Listen I do it well.
- 16:52Speaker 10: On b ET they have a new season of College
- 16:55Speaker 10: Hill featuring Jostling, Hernandez and Tiffany New York Collard.
- 16:59Speaker 9: And they have clips all online.
- 17:01Speaker 10: But on this particular clip, Tiffany Pollard is grieving the
- 17:04Speaker 10: loss of her dog. She referred to her dog as
- 17:07Speaker 10: her daughter, and Jocelyn just doesn't get it. She thinks
- 17:10Speaker 10: that she's talking about a human being, and once she
- 17:13Speaker 10: finds out that she's talking about a dog, she kind.
- 17:16Speaker 6: Of belittles the situation.
- 17:18Speaker 10: She's like, I want my hood back. I thought you
- 17:20Speaker 10: was talking about a human being.
- 17:21Speaker 1: I don't like that.
- 17:22Speaker 8: I am a dog lover, and y'all know that through
- 17:24Speaker 8: and through love all the dogs that I've ever encountered
- 17:28Speaker 8: in my life. I'm so grateful to have another dog now.
- 17:32Speaker 8: I just think that Jocelyn is insensitive. I just think
- 17:36Speaker 8: that if she doesn't feel like something is important to her,
- 17:38Speaker 8: then it's just not important. She cannot relate to a feeling.
- 17:41Speaker 8: She's not gonna try. I don't that's messed up. That's
- 17:46Speaker 8: cold bloody.
- 17:47Speaker 5: Well, my dad lost his dog named Puffy he had.
- 17:51Speaker 5: Puffy was allied for fourteen human years, which is time seven.
- 17:56Speaker 1: I forgot how many years that is.
- 17:57Speaker 6: It also depends on the breed, the size.
- 18:00Speaker 5: It's a very and my dad was so sad. I
- 18:02Speaker 5: had to literally call him check on him, make sure
- 18:04Speaker 5: he's good. But you know, animals are I think, their
- 18:08Speaker 5: spirits on this on this planet. And you don't have
- 18:11Speaker 5: to agree with someone grieving to even you know, to
- 18:16Speaker 5: be empathetic towards towards that person losing something. You could
- 18:20Speaker 5: lose something that's not even alive and be upset, you
- 18:22Speaker 5: know what I'm saying. So to lose a pet, you know,
- 18:25Speaker 5: especially if you're super attachment them. Dogs speak your language, man,
- 18:29Speaker 5: I don't. I'm not a big cat guy, don't like
- 18:31Speaker 5: I can't say I like cats, but I like dogs.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Dogs can read your thoughts.
- 18:35Speaker 8: In my mind, dogs are the only creatures that love
- 18:39Speaker 8: you more than they love themselves.
- 18:41Speaker 5: I agree with that.
- 18:44Speaker 4: I love I love all types of animals, and people
- 18:47Speaker 4: got to understand sometimes you will get a personal turtle relationship.
- 18:51Speaker 1: What a what a dog?
- 18:52Speaker 4: Because you can come home sad and your dog know
- 18:55Speaker 4: that you're sad and cheer you up. And it's just
- 18:58Speaker 4: it's a lot of things that come behind, you know,
- 19:00Speaker 4: people emotion, and you can't be little in people because
- 19:03Speaker 4: what if somebody fish died and you know they were
- 19:06Speaker 4: attached today fish. It is like people have different personal
- 19:09Speaker 4: relationships with with you know, other people than humans.
- 19:12Speaker 8: When my chocolate lab asked in transition July first and
- 19:15Speaker 8: twenty one, literally Rriy and I had our afternoon show
- 19:18Speaker 8: on the radio together and I could not work.
- 19:20Speaker 6: I had to umber.
- 19:21Speaker 1: It happened. We hugged, I hugged. We had for like
- 19:23Speaker 1: five minutes.
- 19:24Speaker 8: I couldn't work, I couldn't function like and I knew
- 19:27Speaker 8: that she was transitioning because it got to the point
- 19:31Speaker 8: where she needed so many fluids that I had to
- 19:35Speaker 8: start administering the fluids myself. The vet literally taught me
- 19:39Speaker 8: how to give her fluids instead of bringing her to
- 19:40Speaker 8: the vet four or five times a week. They were like,
- 19:42Speaker 8: you know what, at this point, just keep her comfortable.
- 19:45Speaker 8: Do it at homes is how you do it. But
- 19:47Speaker 8: the day that we had to put her down, like
- 19:50Speaker 8: that's so sad, Oh my god, it was the most
- 19:53Speaker 8: heartbreaking thing to sit there with her and like try
- 19:56Speaker 8: to comfort her and you can literally hear her last
- 19:58Speaker 8: breath and you just.
- 20:01Speaker 6: That's that's cold blood of Jocelyn. That's cold blooded.
- 20:04Speaker 9: If you can't, you know, deny an attachment.
- 20:06Speaker 10: You know a lot of people, what if some you know,
- 20:09Speaker 10: what if a woman can't have kids and that's all
- 20:11Speaker 10: they have is their dog or their pets.
- 20:13Speaker 5: You know, animals do save lives all types of stuff,
- 20:16Speaker 5: you know, Yeah.
- 20:16Speaker 1: They sure do.
- 20:17Speaker 4: I see I see dogs on planes all the time,
- 20:20Speaker 4: you know, because you can you know, sometimes people have
- 20:23Speaker 4: those for you know, being dependent.
- 20:25Speaker 9: Yes, of course, yep, yep.
- 20:27Speaker 4: You know.
- 20:27Speaker 9: You can even mistreat a dog and they come right back.
- 20:29Speaker 6: I'm telling you, they love you like nobody else will.
- 20:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:33Speaker 10: New segment alert, it's called keep it a Stack. Would
- 20:38Speaker 10: you date somebody who is unattractive.
- 20:40Speaker 8: Unattractive in well way? What are we talking about physically?
- 20:44Speaker 1: Yeah, unattractive and got his ship together together. Yeah, that's
- 20:48Speaker 1: a good better because it's.
- 20:49Speaker 4: Some attractive people that ain't got their ship together, and
- 20:52Speaker 4: it's a lot of attractive and it's a lot of
- 20:55Speaker 4: unattractive people that got their ship together.
- 20:58Speaker 6: I think that attraction could grow.
- 21:00Speaker 8: I think you can be cool with somebody, be friends
- 21:02Speaker 8: with somebody for two, three, four, five years and never
- 21:05Speaker 8: had been attracted to them in a romantic type of way.
- 21:08Speaker 8: But then one day, all of a sudden, this person
- 21:11Speaker 8: does something or you just started to notice a certain quality.
- 21:14Speaker 6: It's like, no, you might just want to go to lunch.
- 21:16Speaker 1: And then Hutch just be.
- 21:18Speaker 6: Like, you know what, so and so is attractive.
- 21:21Speaker 8: I can see something with this person, like I never
- 21:23Speaker 8: saw him in this light before, and then you know,
- 21:26Speaker 8: you may become interested.
- 21:27Speaker 5: Shout out to be someone I never forget. I did
- 21:30Speaker 5: a podcast with her and she said, I like ugly men.
- 21:35Speaker 1: The uglier the better.
- 21:37Speaker 6: I mean, I've dated some man.
- 21:39Speaker 1: I've heard that a good man or something. She just
- 21:42Speaker 1: said she like them real ugly.
- 21:44Speaker 6: They dedicated.
- 21:45Speaker 4: You know you know what girl told A girl told
- 21:47Speaker 4: me that before too. Yeah, that's why I heard. A
- 21:50Speaker 4: girl told me that. She said, she said we ended
- 21:53Speaker 4: up being friends. She was like, I could never date you,
- 21:56Speaker 4: and I was like wow, She's like, because you're not
- 21:58Speaker 4: ugly enough for me. And she said, I like them
- 22:01Speaker 4: ugly because they're gonna be dedicated. They're gonna do everything
- 22:04Speaker 4: that I need them to do, and they're gonna be
- 22:07Speaker 4: all focused on me because you're the prized baby.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Some ugly men they are cheaters too, and thank you
- 22:13Speaker 1: and beaters to thank you.
- 22:14Speaker 8: Everybody got the ability to cheap it a stack, keep
- 22:18Speaker 8: it a stack.
- 22:19Speaker 1: The ugly niggas got bad credit to the usually like it.
- 22:25Speaker 5: You're gonna have to have, you know, some cash flow,
- 22:27Speaker 5: something going yeah or that long John Silver, I mean
- 22:30Speaker 5: thinking about it.
- 22:35Speaker 1: You guys got updates on the playoffs.
- 22:37Speaker 5: Yes, the Miami Heat and the New York Knicks are
- 22:42Speaker 5: going to six games.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Nobody cares. Nobody cares about that. Miami Heat should be winners.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Nobody cares about conference finals.
- 22:51Speaker 5: Yes, Sirsky, I was so upset last night, the night
- 22:54Speaker 5: before last because my boys lost in New York. So
- 22:58Speaker 5: by the time this actually no, when this airs, Miami
- 23:03Speaker 5: Heat will be playing tonight in Miami and New York
- 23:08Speaker 5: is going down. Well, Los Angeles Lakers played in La
- 23:13Speaker 5: Gold to State tonight.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Going down. They're going down to No, They're not going down.
- 23:18Speaker 4: Outside of being a Hawks fans, because I have a
- 23:21Speaker 4: lot of friends that play for the Hawks, I'm a
- 23:23Speaker 4: Warriors fan and I believe in Steph Curry, and I
- 23:26Speaker 4: think you think Steph Curry is going to force a
- 23:27Speaker 4: Game seven. I think he's going to force a Game seven.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Ain't gonna happen, Captain.
- 23:30Speaker 4: I think that's what's gonna happen, because you know what,
- 23:33Speaker 4: the Lakers, they've been doing a lot of flopping. And
- 23:35Speaker 4: Steve kurda coach, he made sure that he went to
- 23:37Speaker 4: the refs and talked to the media and say, hey,
- 23:39Speaker 4: these guys are doing a lot of flopping, and guess
- 23:41Speaker 4: what they didn't get on them calls this past game,
- 23:43Speaker 4: and guess what happened today as they went down.
- 23:46Speaker 5: I'm going for a finals preview that happened in the bubble.
- 23:51Speaker 5: I wanted to be Los Angeles Lakers versus the Miami Heat.
- 23:54Speaker 5: That's gonna be the best of both worlds right there
- 23:57Speaker 5: in l A one game is gonna be in Miami.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Isn't that the best playoffs? Ever? No, No, it's not Miami, LA. Nobody,
- 24:05Speaker 1: nobody wants to see that. Nobody wants to see game
- 24:07Speaker 1: one and two in Miami. Y'all don't even have y'a
- 24:10Speaker 1: don't even have fans. Y'all don't even have fans.
- 24:13Speaker 4: Anytime you look at TV, if y'all pay attention, I'll
- 24:16Speaker 4: pay attention.
- 24:17Speaker 1: To those Miami he games, they're in the club. They
- 24:19Speaker 1: come no fans. It's always empty. Every time you look
- 24:24Speaker 1: on TV, them chairs be empty, as.
- 24:26Speaker 4: Hands quarter is empty, the second quarter is empty. It's
- 24:29Speaker 4: not it's always empty. How is it the playoffs? You
- 24:33Speaker 4: shouldn't even want to go to the club.
- 24:34Speaker 1: If you're in the playoffs, you gonna sit your ass
- 24:36Speaker 1: right there.
- 24:37Speaker 4: When I went to the Hosts game, nobody moved, even
- 24:39Speaker 4: when they went on Breaby and it went to TV
- 24:42Speaker 4: commercials and everybody.
- 24:43Speaker 5: Living in Arkansas. There's no basketball team there. You know,

- 24:56Speaker 1: Then we're gonna go to our seats. Okay, that's usually
- 24:58Speaker 1: gonna be second quarter.
- 24:59Speaker 9: The club behind the goal.
- 25:01Speaker 4: I ain't never been to Miami and heard somebody, Hey man,
- 25:03Speaker 4: I'm about to go to that Miami Heat game tonight.

- 25:23Speaker 4: It's because you keep talking about because you don't.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Care Miami Heat going to the finals. People want to
- 25:30Speaker 1: see Steph Curry yet five winning, but yet we're winning.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Got it? Got it makes sense? Makes complete?
- 25:36Speaker 4: Fucking Hey, Katie, Katie, Katie, you better win against Denver
- 25:43Speaker 4: because you went to another super team.
- 25:44Speaker 5: He's losing and and we expected you to go to
- 25:47Speaker 5: the finals. Fresh l off the grill, not fresh l
- 25:50Speaker 5: off the grill. Come on, I believe that Katie didn't
- 25:53Speaker 5: have polo traffic. He's a thief, so polo traffic chick
- 25:59Speaker 5: in on the grill. You never taste the chicken. It's
- 26:02Speaker 5: good fresh al, it's good coming off the grill. I believe, ayah,
- 26:11Speaker 5: what we got next?
- 26:12Speaker 10: Oci versus money?
- 26:15Speaker 1: It's love versus money on the ball or alert show
- 26:20Speaker 1: back with love versus money.
- 26:22Speaker 10: I give the couple and you let me know if
- 26:24Speaker 10: they're there for love or it's just business. Business today
- 26:27Speaker 10: today we have somebody who may be broken up, maybe
- 26:33Speaker 10: on the birge.
- 26:33Speaker 1: I don't know if this is for what, but y'all.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Let me know Kroy Beerman and him Zosiac.
- 26:39Speaker 4: Oh yeah, if they housewives is for the money, long man,
- 26:44Speaker 4: if you a housewife, you there for the money.
- 26:46Speaker 5: He used to play for the Atlanta Falcons. I don't
- 26:48Speaker 5: know he played for it after that, but all I
- 26:50Speaker 5: know is he does. So he got money any longer.
- 26:53Speaker 5: So he got money.
- 26:54Speaker 9: Then niggas file for divorce had money.
- 26:56Speaker 1: And let me just hit you out with a lot
- 26:57Speaker 1: more facts.
- 26:58Speaker 10: You know, they were together, they got married, they had
- 27:02Speaker 10: she had four additional children with him. She previously had
- 27:06Speaker 10: two and he adopted her kids. And so her kids,
- 27:08Speaker 10: her two girls have his last name. They have like
- 27:12Speaker 10: I said, they have four more kids together. Uh they
- 27:16Speaker 10: you know, he is younger than her, He's he's a
- 27:18Speaker 10: lot younger than her.
- 27:20Speaker 3: Uh.
- 27:20Speaker 10: They their house got foreclosed on, like I said, and
- 27:22Speaker 10: now she's filing for divorce.
- 27:24Speaker 5: I think that this relationship could have been loved, but
- 27:29Speaker 5: I think it was a financial decision.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Damn believen.
- 27:33Speaker 5: When the pot gets hot, fire is lit, it's a
- 27:40Speaker 5: whole bunch of shit going on, and she gone, damn
- 27:43Speaker 5: weapon too, playing bed.
- 27:44Speaker 8: I think this is tricky because sometimes love just ain't enough,
- 27:48Speaker 8: Like what you're gonna do. Live in a box like
- 27:51Speaker 8: Kim likes her lifestyle, the.
- 27:52Speaker 5: Richard for four Damn there is not abiding by what
- 27:55Speaker 5: they said.
- 27:56Speaker 8: I do for But it's not just like the losing
- 27:59Speaker 8: they or not having a lot of money. Sometimes that
- 28:02Speaker 8: messes with a person's psyche, right, Like this man might
- 28:05Speaker 8: not be as confident as he used to be. He
- 28:07Speaker 8: might not be as present as he used to be.
- 28:09Speaker 8: He may be in a whole nother space. He might
- 28:12Speaker 8: be an asshole. He may have turned us emotionally abusive
- 28:17Speaker 8: because he's not feeling good about himself.
- 28:19Speaker 6: There's a lot that goes.
- 28:20Speaker 1: With damn happen. Yeah, the house got let go. That's
- 28:23Speaker 1: what happened. You said something happened. The money got low, and.
- 28:29Speaker 8: Maybe maybe he wasn't telling her that he wasn't keeping
- 28:32Speaker 8: up the mortgage if that was his responsibility.
- 28:34Speaker 6: And she feels like, damn lied to me, Like I.
- 28:37Speaker 5: Told you what happened. The money got low and she
- 28:39Speaker 5: ready to go.
- 28:40Speaker 1: That's what that's what had money too, though you should
- 28:43Speaker 1: have helped pay on his bill to keep this.
- 28:46Speaker 10: And another fact is she quit Housewives on her own show,
- 28:50Speaker 10: so I don't know.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Where it was my baby. It's time to get back
- 28:52Speaker 1: to work, baby, time to get back to work. We
- 28:54Speaker 1: got to keep this house, we got to keep this
- 28:56Speaker 1: money going. I'm a little low right now. I need
- 28:58Speaker 1: you to put in.
- 28:59Speaker 6: So do you I think she'll go back on the
- 29:00Speaker 6: Real Housewives.
- 29:01Speaker 10: Probably she was doing in between times. I don't know
- 29:05Speaker 10: if she had a Josh Ferrari.
- 29:06Speaker 1: She did, she was on TV. She got, you know,
- 29:08Speaker 1: doing that. She quit that, but she was like getting
- 29:11Speaker 1: booked and stuff for what for? Like who she is?
- 29:14Speaker 5: Man?
- 29:15Speaker 1: You know she's doing that.
- 29:16Speaker 4: She calling that, dude, Andy right now, say I'm ready
- 29:18Speaker 4: to come back. I got a story to tell you.
- 29:21Speaker 6: My life is dramatic.
- 29:22Speaker 1: I got a story to tell you. So for the love.
- 29:26Speaker 1: I'm not saying it's for the money.
- 29:27Speaker 4: If you if you a housewife, you are definitely dude,
- 29:30Speaker 4: don't say that.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Be careful.
- 29:31Speaker 10: But mind you, Kim had a sugar daddy before, did
- 29:34Speaker 10: big pop up, before she even got married to Croy.
- 29:37Speaker 1: I don't think what I'm saying.
- 29:38Speaker 4: If you're on a reality TV show called Housewives, you
- 29:41Speaker 4: are definitely there for the money. Okay, okay, We'll be
- 29:45Speaker 4: right back with more of the Baller Alert Show.
- 29:53Speaker 1: You're listening to a special edition of the Baller Alert Show.
- 29:56Speaker 3: Hey y'all, it's Coco Jones and you're listening to the
- 29:58Speaker 3: Baller Alert Show.
- 29:59Speaker 1: Super started the building. We're doing snaps, job.
- 30:08Speaker 6: Snap for myself.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Well good.
- 30:10Speaker 3: Every time I come over here, I feel like, dang,
- 30:13Speaker 3: my life has changed so much since the last time.
- 30:15Speaker 3: Like I remember when I was here for my listening
- 30:17Speaker 3: session before my EP even came out, and everybody was like, Yo,
- 30:20Speaker 3: this is fired, and I was like, and now I'm like,
- 30:23Speaker 3: I guess that was right, because uh, you sitting they're
- 30:26Speaker 3: doing it.
- 30:28Speaker 8: Atlanta shows you love because I know you hosted a
- 30:29Speaker 8: party of Rose Bar shout out to Mike Clay and then,
- 30:32Speaker 8: like you said.
- 30:33Speaker 6: You're performing strength of a Woman. Baller Alert.
- 30:36Speaker 8: The last time Ferrari and I spoke to you, we
- 30:37Speaker 8: had our radio show on the station. But baby, you're
- 30:41Speaker 8: doing your thing. Ron Hurd told me a story the
- 30:44Speaker 8: other day about a visit you made a visit to
- 30:47Speaker 8: Sludy Vegan m HM, and these young fans approached you
- 30:51Speaker 8: and it made you super emotional. I think you had
- 30:53Speaker 8: kind of realized that, like, oh my god, people loved me,
- 30:56Speaker 8: they follow me. This is A real thing is that
- 30:58Speaker 8: when you felt like Oco Jones is arriving.
- 31:02Speaker 2: You know what.
- 31:02Speaker 3: I actually had this moment on one of my first
- 31:07Speaker 3: performances where I was headlining, since I don't know, probably
- 31:10Speaker 3: like sixteen seventeen. I was at Howard Theater and I
- 31:14Speaker 3: literally was like choking up when they were singing I
- 31:18Speaker 3: See You. I just could not I could not believe
- 31:21Speaker 3: how passionate they were and how they knew every word.
- 31:25Speaker 3: I was just like, Wow, the last time I even
- 31:27Speaker 3: felt like this, I was sixteen. It's been so long,
- 31:30Speaker 3: and I was like, whoa, I'm about to crying the
- 31:32Speaker 3: club let it out crazy?
- 31:33Speaker 9: Did you expect you to go viral on TikTok No?
- 31:36Speaker 5: Because that song was everywhere.
- 31:38Speaker 3: I never know what's going to do, whatever it's going
- 31:40Speaker 3: to do. I just try to do what I can
- 31:42Speaker 3: do and then let the rest.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Like God control the rest.
- 31:45Speaker 5: It makes people like Ron's job super easy.
- 31:49Speaker 1: How did you come up with When I See You? Well?
- 31:52Speaker 2: I actually had heard the music first.
- 31:56Speaker 3: I was I was with Camper and he's an amazing producer.
- 31:59Speaker 3: He was play me a lot of beats and I
- 32:01Speaker 3: was going there to do something up beat. I was
- 32:02Speaker 3: like I'm trying to do a five, six, seven and
- 32:03Speaker 3: eight because also in my performances, I love to do
- 32:06Speaker 3: choreo and keep it high energy as much as possible.
- 32:08Speaker 3: And I heard the track that became ICU and I
- 32:12Speaker 3: tried to just like I was like, oh, okay, that
- 32:14Speaker 3: was powerful, moving on, moving on, moving on, But I
- 32:16Speaker 3: couldn't really move on, and so I was like, can
- 32:19Speaker 3: you go back to that one song?
- 32:20Speaker 5: And I knew. I was like, we got to write
- 32:22Speaker 5: to this.
- 32:22Speaker 3: I just can't hear a music like this that I
- 32:25Speaker 3: already I already felt the song, I even wrote it,
- 32:29Speaker 3: so I was like, I can't skip this.
- 32:30Speaker 1: So you just mad.
- 32:36Speaker 3: The way that John is going everywhere. No, I didn't
- 32:41Speaker 3: even say that.
- 32:43Speaker 1: When John Queeze the remixing, you know, and that's a
- 32:46Speaker 1: hard song to do, and what he didn't do it
- 32:48Speaker 1: like you.
- 32:49Speaker 4: I'm just saying, I said, John Quee's remix it's a hit,
- 32:55Speaker 4: a pause to it.
- 32:55Speaker 5: Yet I.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Know you talked about it.
- 32:59Speaker 6: I said, leave me out of it.
- 33:02Speaker 1: I'm not even again.
- 33:03Speaker 3: No, I didn't know what was or wasn't going to
- 33:06Speaker 3: be a hit. I still don't know what the formula is.
- 33:08Speaker 3: I just know feeling and from what I've been told,
- 33:10Speaker 3: like is the feeling that really sticks? You know? When
- 33:13Speaker 3: I finished that song, we were kind of like celebrating,
- 33:16Speaker 3: even though it's very emotional song and very raw emotions, we.
- 33:19Speaker 5: Were kind of like, that was crazy.
- 33:21Speaker 6: Felt good, it felt right.
- 33:23Speaker 8: I think, you know it's crazy when for me anyway,
- 33:25Speaker 8: sometimes I have to listen to a song over and
- 33:27Speaker 8: over again before I actually really get into it.
- 33:30Speaker 6: But I see you.
- 33:30Speaker 8: It was like the first time I heard it, I
- 33:32Speaker 8: was like, Okay, this is a pop like, let me
- 33:35Speaker 8: run it back. So it definitely sticks, but why release
- 33:38Speaker 8: a ballad first off of this new album?
- 33:41Speaker 3: I think it was well from what my team kind
- 33:44Speaker 3: of explained to me because I asked the same, I
- 33:45Speaker 3: was like, guys, please, they're gonna love this and only
- 33:47Speaker 3: want me to do ICU and then I'm about to
- 33:49Speaker 3: be like, EMG hij k element only ic you vibes.
- 33:53Speaker 3: But from what they explained to me, and I'm really
- 33:56Speaker 3: grateful that I have a team who's been there and
- 33:58Speaker 3: done that because I don't know. I only know one perspective.
- 34:02Speaker 3: But they were basically saying like they wanted to showcase
- 34:04Speaker 3: my vocals, like what sets me apart, and then of
- 34:07Speaker 3: course I can do these other things that I also do,
- 34:10Speaker 3: like what I didn't tell you EPs, so many different
- 34:12Speaker 3: flavors of music, so many different sides of my actual personality.
- 34:16Speaker 3: But I think it was first like if you're introducing people,
- 34:19Speaker 3: do you want them to know?
- 34:20Speaker 2: How do you want them to know you? The voice?
- 34:23Speaker 10: The more introduced with the voice, it's just like Melanie
- 34:25Speaker 10: Fiona when It Kills Me came out, it's like whoa,
- 34:29Speaker 10: you know, with.
- 34:29Speaker 1: A broth of fresh air, just like this.
- 34:31Speaker 10: You know, everybody's doing fast records, so we needed that ballot.
- 34:35Speaker 10: You know, when money Long came with hours and hours,
- 34:37Speaker 10: people was like, oh my gosh.
- 34:39Speaker 1: It was always a treating.
- 34:41Speaker 10: When we get a ballot like that. So I love
- 34:43Speaker 10: that they put that out first.
- 34:44Speaker 5: Well, ballot to go like that, It lets you know
- 34:46Speaker 5: it's a hit. And I wanted to ask you was
- 34:48Speaker 5: there any type.
- 34:49Speaker 2: Of a relief.
- 34:51Speaker 5: Like when people are saying I like her as a singer,
- 34:55Speaker 5: I like her as an artist and not the actress.
- 35:00Speaker 2: Absolutely, because you know, it's.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Kind of difficult.
- 35:02Speaker 5: It's difficult for people to say you're a musician and
- 35:06Speaker 5: I like you and believe it, and I believe it.
- 35:09Speaker 2: Yes, it was such a sigh of relief.
- 35:11Speaker 3: I've had so many size of relief in the last
- 35:14Speaker 3: two years, like Wow, okay, this is working. Wooh, I
- 35:18Speaker 3: have a great team. Woo, have a label who understands me. Whoa,
- 35:21Speaker 3: I have a hit team. It's just like wow, Yes,
- 35:25Speaker 3: this is a lot of relief because you're striving for
- 35:28Speaker 3: these goals and you want them really bad. You live
- 35:31Speaker 3: and breathe these things, and I could see them for
- 35:33Speaker 3: myself when my situation did not match. So to finally
- 35:37Speaker 3: see these pieces come together where it's like I don't
- 35:40Speaker 3: have to like visualize having a number one EP.
- 35:42Speaker 2: I saw it, that happened.
- 35:44Speaker 3: I got screenshot that that's in time, that's in my journey,
- 35:46Speaker 3: that's in my story. Like it's a relief, and it's
- 35:49Speaker 3: also like such a grateful, humble feeling too that I'm
- 35:53Speaker 3: just like thank you God, Like I really couldn't have
- 35:56Speaker 3: put these pieces together myself, so I'm just happy and
- 35:58Speaker 3: grateful that it's happening like this.
- 36:00Speaker 4: Who's somebody that reached out to you recently that you
- 36:04Speaker 4: was like, wow, I can't believe this person you know
- 36:06Speaker 4: reached out to me.
- 36:07Speaker 3: Well, I will say a crazy, crazy experience was when
- 36:10Speaker 3: I was at the Rock Nation brunch.
- 36:12Speaker 1: Okay, how was that?
- 36:13Speaker 5: It was amazing?
- 36:14Speaker 3: Like how did I get here? And I was waiting
- 36:18Speaker 3: for of course I was waiting for Beyonce because hello,
- 36:20Speaker 3: come on, like you know that's the that's the formula
- 36:24Speaker 3: that's there. Yeah, well I don't know about but me personally, yes,
- 36:29Speaker 3: everybody waiting.
- 36:30Speaker 9: Everybody was waiting.
- 36:32Speaker 3: And low key though. That kind of is how it felt.
- 36:34Speaker 3: Because when she walked in the room, like it was
- 36:35Speaker 3: pretty much when the event was over, it was giving
- 36:37Speaker 3: world stop hearing.
- 36:38Speaker 5: On very much.
- 36:39Speaker 3: Just like she said, everyone turned and like the room
- 36:42Speaker 3: it was like the room went on. It was like
- 36:44Speaker 3: on tilt and we all like slid towards her. It
- 36:46Speaker 3: was so crazy to watch because I was by the
- 36:47Speaker 3: waffles because I was about to get me a waffle
- 36:48Speaker 3: and leave. I was like, anyway, it's coming up, and
- 36:50Speaker 3: here's time to go. I've been here since brunch, it's
- 36:52Speaker 3: dinner time. I haven't eaten because nobody really eats at
- 36:54Speaker 3: the Rock Nation bruns. I not to go faint, but
- 36:56Speaker 3: then I just was like, something's happening. I saw Michelle.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Something's brewing here. And then of course, Beyonce walked in
- 37:02Speaker 3: and what was crazy is we was all on strategy time.
- 37:05Speaker 3: My manager was like trying to talk to her bubblicist
- 37:07Speaker 3: and then trying to talk to me, trying to get
- 37:08Speaker 3: in front of the crowd because we were all walking
- 37:09Speaker 3: in there, and then I was trying to get in
- 37:10Speaker 3: front of the crowd. My homeboy who takes photos of her,
- 37:13Speaker 3: was looking at me, and I'm looking at him like
- 37:14Speaker 3: can I go over there?
- 37:15Speaker 2: My manager's like, it's on you. We can't do it
- 37:17Speaker 2: over here.
- 37:17Speaker 3: She passed our area and I'm like, okay, okay, I'm
- 37:20Speaker 3: about to do like dodgeball trying to get in here.
- 37:22Speaker 3: And she looked at me and she was like, oh,
- 37:25Speaker 3: I know you.
- 37:25Speaker 1: Snap snap snaps. Go ahead, keep going.
- 37:27Speaker 3: She was like, you'll be singing your ass off. I
- 37:30Speaker 3: literally felt like frozen in time.
- 37:32Speaker 1: She's talking to me. I was like, huh.
- 37:35Speaker 3: I was like, keep it cool, you keep it cool.
- 37:38Speaker 3: So literally the oscar goes too, cause I was screaming,
- 37:40Speaker 3: crying and throwing up inside.
- 37:42Speaker 6: I'm telling it.
- 37:42Speaker 2: I was like, I.
- 37:43Speaker 3: Cannot believe that the the goal knows me and actually
- 37:47Speaker 3: acknowledged me and what I'm doing has seen me and
- 37:50Speaker 3: she was like, keep doing your thing.
- 37:51Speaker 5: I'm proud of you.
- 37:52Speaker 2: I was like, since you said it, I definitely will
- 37:57Speaker 2: I get up, But.
- 37:58Speaker 5: Since you said it, I'm gonna keep going.
- 37:59Speaker 2: It was crazy, that's what.
- 38:00Speaker 1: You what did you say? Thank you so much?
- 38:06Speaker 3: And I was like, you know how inspirational you are
- 38:08Speaker 3: to all of us, so thank you for being who
- 38:09Speaker 3: you are. And that was that player. And then I
- 38:12Speaker 3: walked outside and I was giving a little thug tear.
- 38:14Speaker 1: That's what I was talking about.
- 38:16Speaker 6: What they would have to put me out, Like get
- 38:18Speaker 6: this girl out.
- 38:21Speaker 5: Now? Who is entertaining Coco? Coco in a relationship? L
- 38:27Speaker 5: O l O L Is that somebody sliding in the dms?
- 38:29Speaker 5: Do you read dms?
- 38:30Speaker 3: I do read them sometimes, Yeah, because there be there'll
- 38:33Speaker 3: be money opportunities in there.
- 38:35Speaker 2: I got to inquire.
- 38:36Speaker 3: But I will say right now, I'm really it would
- 38:41Speaker 3: have to be a really special son of a gun
- 38:44Speaker 3: to take me away from the actual hyper focused mindset
- 38:47Speaker 3: that I am on my career right now, because I
- 38:49Speaker 3: always be saying to myself, if I look back and
- 38:51Speaker 3: I was distracted and it wasn't for something intentional that
- 38:54Speaker 3: was going to be worth the time and the investment.
- 38:56Speaker 3: Then there's nobody to blame but me. So I'll be
- 38:59Speaker 3: kicknicked and having fun. You know, I gotta find something
- 39:02Speaker 3: to write songs about.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Dates.
- 39:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I've talked to a bunch of different I've talked
- 39:11Speaker 3: to a bunch of different career fields. Sometimes there's nothing
- 39:14Speaker 3: to even do with music. Sometimes it's like business and
- 39:17Speaker 3: I'm like, low key, I'm like, I don't really enjoy
- 39:20Speaker 3: having somebody in the same career field because then I
- 39:22Speaker 3: don't like when we're out at events and stuff like.
- 39:25Speaker 1: Why are you here?
- 39:26Speaker 2: But I'm like, oh, you work here.
- 39:28Speaker 4: You want a regular guy, You're given all the regular guys.
- 39:34Speaker 2: Driver, you guys, everyone slowed down.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Everybody pause. But I think he means like maybe someone
- 39:43Speaker 1: like a doctor. Yeah, I would.
- 39:46Speaker 3: I would definitely not steer away from somebody who's in
- 39:49Speaker 3: a different field that's not all glitz and glamor, because
- 39:51Speaker 3: that stuff is just pretend anyway, and it's really the
- 39:53Speaker 3: character and the work ethic as well. I want somebody
- 39:57Speaker 3: who I can respect, you know.
- 39:58Speaker 2: That's oh yeah, it just gotta it into that category.
- 40:02Speaker 6: I was just gonna say, your new.
- 40:03Speaker 3: Song double back, that's of course everybody in the room
- 40:10Speaker 3: has double backs, have they not? Or are somebody in
- 40:12Speaker 3: here perfect?
- 40:13Speaker 1: Everybody? Everybody on the double back for the right person.
- 40:16Speaker 1: So so who in particular? What are you talking about?
- 40:19Speaker 5: You are messy dot com?
- 40:20Speaker 1: No, no, no, I just wanted to know. I think
- 40:22Speaker 1: we're friends right now? Don't friends? Come?
- 40:24Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 40:26Speaker 1: I mean, damn, Now he gonna DM and he gonna
- 40:30Speaker 1: text her, he gonna text her the no names. How
- 40:33Speaker 1: did the concept of n come about?
- 40:36Speaker 3: Basically when I had heard the song, Lendon on the
- 40:39Speaker 3: track produced it and he was like, Yo, we got
- 40:41Speaker 3: this fire song and I think you'd be perfect for it,
- 40:43Speaker 3: And of course I was really inspired, and I just
- 40:46Speaker 3: thought about what SWB and like rain on me, like
- 40:49Speaker 3: who would who would I want to feel that way for?
- 40:51Speaker 3: And I'm like, hell, it's it's definitely a past it's
- 40:54Speaker 3: a past situation.
- 40:56Speaker 5: I was thinking, dang, why why is it all with him?
- 40:58Speaker 3: I was like, hmmm, interesting, But I feel like right now,
- 41:04Speaker 3: like I said, it would have to be worth the time,
- 41:07Speaker 3: and nine times out of ten when you go back
- 41:09Speaker 3: to that situation, the variables are the same, so it's
- 41:11Speaker 3: going to be the same outcome, and insanity is doing
- 41:14Speaker 3: the same thing. Over and over again, expecting a different result. Hello,
- 41:16Speaker 3: So no, thank you right later, maybe when I'm bored.
- 41:19Speaker 3: If I get bored right now, I'm busy.
- 41:20Speaker 6: That's the reason I'm find you're gonna get that.
- 41:23Speaker 4: Trouble because now that that dude she's talking about is
- 41:25Speaker 4: gonna is gonna text her about that dude when when
- 41:28Speaker 4: he said speaking.
- 41:31Speaker 10: You're doing as quick fixed with Terrell, y'all was cooking.
- 41:35Speaker 10: Have you been practicing because you was not that ain't
- 41:38Speaker 10: not too much on me?
- 41:39Speaker 5: Not too much on me, because I do we cooking.
- 41:41Speaker 5: You know, it's crazy.
- 41:42Speaker 2: When I actually have free time, I really do like
- 41:45Speaker 2: to cook.
- 41:45Speaker 1: It's fun.
- 41:46Speaker 3: I feel like I'm on Vetty Crocker energy. And then
- 41:48Speaker 3: I'd be like getting all my ingredients I want to try,
- 41:49Speaker 3: like a new recipe, something fun, and then.
- 41:51Speaker 1: I get to eat signature dish.
- 41:53Speaker 3: Well, my easiest one that I know I'm gonna do
- 41:55Speaker 3: right is like checking out fredsh and by Fred or
- 41:57Speaker 3: something like okay, you know, I feel like that's the
- 42:00Speaker 3: and when the girls very but please.
- 42:02Speaker 1: It's easy. What chicken alfredo is like common?
- 42:04Speaker 3: It's like I don't know why, but it's like a
- 42:05Speaker 3: very all the girls who be like cooking.
- 42:08Speaker 8: They like.
- 42:09Speaker 2: Some alfreido for my man should be.
- 42:11Speaker 1: Happy as hell.
- 42:13Speaker 10: I forgot one thing, but they put you on light duty.
- 42:17Speaker 3: I don't know what they had me doing, but one
- 42:19Speaker 3: thing about sorell When we're on the teen cocoke. When
- 42:21Speaker 3: we're cooking on tin cocoa, it's always a terribly, terribly
- 42:24Speaker 3: difficult rescue. But my mama, I'm gone from the South.
- 42:27Speaker 3: I'm from Tennessee, so I'm commend them. They know how
- 42:29Speaker 3: to cook. My grandma cook everything from scratch. So I
- 42:32Speaker 3: did watch all of that, and I think it's really
- 42:34Speaker 3: really cool and it's a passion of mine. I want
- 42:36Speaker 3: to be able to really throw it down. Okay, Like
- 42:38Speaker 3: that's a different like skill. It's cool, But do I
- 42:40Speaker 3: have the time to practice right now?
- 42:41Speaker 5: Now?
- 42:41Speaker 3: Right?
- 42:42Speaker 9: You here one day but not now?
- 42:43Speaker 8: You want to like cook for your man, like have
- 42:45Speaker 8: dinner ready for him when when a man comes into
- 42:47Speaker 8: your life.
- 42:48Speaker 2: Well, I'm like being realistic with myself.
- 42:50Speaker 3: I'm like, when would that even be that I'm home
- 42:52Speaker 3: in enough time to cook dinner before he's home. I mean,
- 42:56Speaker 3: if I went to the studio, I'm not getting home
- 42:58Speaker 3: till twelve one too.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Maybe he needs to be cooking for you, you.
- 43:01Speaker 3: Can, I could prep and maybe he could be the chef. Yeah,
- 43:06Speaker 3: or maybe people get home and that's a private chef.
- 43:08Speaker 6: There it is. It's all good.
- 43:11Speaker 1: Speaking of men.
- 43:12Speaker 10: You had your pretend man Jazz and uh you left him.
- 43:15Speaker 1: On on Red on the on the season finale, man
- 43:21Speaker 1: taking to take a slip, taking a zip from.
- 43:26Speaker 5: So good?
- 43:27Speaker 1: I love it.
- 43:28Speaker 8: Man.
- 43:29Speaker 1: How have you acclimated from beginning to now?
- 43:33Speaker 3: Well, I've learned a lot about balance, and I've learned
- 43:36Speaker 3: a lot about commitments. I mean, technically, I signed my
- 43:41Speaker 3: names with two huge entities music which is Deaf Jam
- 43:45Speaker 3: and High Standard my joint Venture and NBC Peacock Belair,
- 43:49Speaker 3: and it's two huge companies and they want the best
- 43:52Speaker 3: of me, you know. And so I've learned a lot
- 43:54Speaker 3: about commitments and the things that you agree to. And
- 43:57Speaker 3: of course everything worth anything is hard and difficult, but that.
- 44:01Speaker 2: Payoff it be, it'd be worth the heart of the difficult.
- 44:04Speaker 3: But it's no joke balancing everything because I know how
- 44:07Speaker 3: important it is to represent Hillary well and how important
- 44:10Speaker 3: that is for culture and history, and I know how
- 44:12Speaker 3: important it is for me to introduce myself to the
- 44:14Speaker 3: world and be as authentic as I can be, so
- 44:16Speaker 3: people get that Hillary is a character and I'm gonna
- 44:19Speaker 3: eat that character up. But then also you're gonna know
- 44:22Speaker 3: the difference between Hillary and Coco.
- 44:23Speaker 9: And you're doing such a great job and that whole
- 44:26Speaker 9: the whole cast.
- 44:26Speaker 8: I love.
- 44:27Speaker 1: Hey, you're just doing a good job. That congratulations, y'all
- 44:29Speaker 1: got up picked.
- 44:30Speaker 9: Up for season three?
- 44:31Speaker 11: Right?
- 44:31Speaker 1: Yes, yes, are you excited? Of course? Of course we yes.
- 44:37Speaker 5: To ask a question because you said a keyword on
- 44:39Speaker 5: Big Mental Health guy and you set balance because it's
- 44:42Speaker 5: very difficult, easier said than done. Are there moments where
- 44:46Speaker 5: it's like a transgression where you're like, man, this is
- 44:49Speaker 5: too much? Or do you have help with maintaining your schedule?
- 44:54Speaker 5: How do you maintain both keep a levelhead? Yeah, as
- 44:58Speaker 5: a family, you know.
- 45:00Speaker 2: That's a real question.
- 45:01Speaker 3: I do have help in balancing my schedule and scheduling
- 45:06Speaker 3: things out. It's so weird to say that I have
- 45:08Speaker 3: an assistant, but I do have an assistant because I tried.
- 45:11Speaker 5: To like not do that.
- 45:12Speaker 3: I was like, ew no, but I was like, now,
- 45:16Speaker 3: my mental is a little tacking, you know, and there
- 45:18Speaker 3: are certain things that I just I could do them
- 45:20Speaker 3: but then I'd be like, well that's less sleep doing
- 45:22Speaker 3: that one thing that could be done by somebody else,
- 45:25Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying. And I'm like, what's more important?
- 45:27Speaker 3: Like sleep so that I can be prepared for being
- 45:29Speaker 3: on set at five am till five pm and then
- 45:31Speaker 3: going to the studio till as long as I can take,
- 45:34Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying. So I do have an
- 45:35Speaker 3: assistant now, and he is amazing, like literally legit. And
- 45:40Speaker 3: I think also, I'm very big on therapy, and so
- 45:43Speaker 3: I'll tell my sister, like, this hour blocks her therapy
- 45:47Speaker 3: and everything has to be scheduled around that, because what
- 45:50Speaker 3: good is it for me to run it up and
- 45:52Speaker 3: be mentally? How often do I go to therapy? It
- 45:56Speaker 3: really just depends on my schedule, but definitely minimum once
- 45:59Speaker 3: a month, but if things are going crazy, then more
- 46:02Speaker 3: than once in like maybe twice a month or maybe three.
- 46:04Speaker 6: Times, however much you need it.
- 46:06Speaker 1: I appreciate you saying that, Yeah, it's real.
- 46:08Speaker 3: I mean if you go to the doctor for your health,
- 46:09Speaker 3: and I feel like therapy is just like the mental do.
- 46:13Speaker 6: Is bel affected by the writer's strike?
- 46:15Speaker 3: I mean I think every show is, because every show
- 46:18Speaker 3: takes writers, and they have to be passionate and they
- 46:20Speaker 3: have to feel heard.
- 46:21Speaker 2: So yeah, I feel like every show is and.
- 46:23Speaker 3: You know, in this industry, it's there's are a lot
- 46:26Speaker 3: of things that could be better. Me speaking on the
- 46:29Speaker 3: acting side, colorism and all of those things has been
- 46:32Speaker 3: such a huge part of my limitations that were not
- 46:35Speaker 3: placed on me because of me, you know. So I
- 46:39Speaker 3: feel for everybody in the industry who doesn't feel like
- 46:41Speaker 3: they're getting what they deserve. And I think it really
- 46:44Speaker 3: is important to just continue to make opportunities that are
- 46:46Speaker 3: fair so we can all run it up. There's so
- 46:48Speaker 3: much money to go around.
- 46:50Speaker 1: Yeah, they just want to be cheap. Yeah, I mean, hey,
- 46:53Speaker 1: they don't want to pay these writers.
- 46:55Speaker 4: Man, these writers are creating great content and they don't
- 46:57Speaker 4: want to pay them.
- 46:58Speaker 3: I think a lot of businesses are, of course always
- 47:01Speaker 3: trying to pinch pennies, but at the end of the day,
- 47:03Speaker 3: you gotta you gotta pay people when they're valuable.
- 47:05Speaker 2: What's your dream role Ooh acting?
- 47:08Speaker 3: I would want to do like a really fire action movie,
- 47:12Speaker 3: Like I really loved Charlie's Angels. Oh yeah, I thought
- 47:14Speaker 3: that was so far like they were all bad and
- 47:16Speaker 3: like they was actually like killing it, So I would
- 47:18Speaker 3: want to do something like that. I think I would
- 47:21Speaker 3: also want to do like a really powerful drama, like
- 47:26Speaker 3: I don't know of a really good example, but just
- 47:28Speaker 3: something that really sets me apart as like, oh she
- 47:31Speaker 3: really liked that, you know, yes, like something really powerful
- 47:37Speaker 3: that just put some respect on my acting.
- 47:38Speaker 2: Man would take I would.
- 47:39Speaker 3: Take an oscar and honestly it begins eventually, I would.
- 47:42Speaker 3: I would definitely welcome that because I've also done Broadway before.
- 47:45Speaker 1: What do you like more music? Or music?
- 47:50Speaker 5: Dot com music?
- 47:52Speaker 8: Why?
- 47:52Speaker 6: Why is it so serious?
- 47:54Speaker 3: Singing is what I've been doing my entire life, Even
- 47:56Speaker 3: when I was a baby. I was humming all the time.
- 47:58Speaker 3: It's in all my baby videos. It's so weird to see.
- 48:01Speaker 3: And I think when I started singing, I wanted more,
- 48:05Speaker 3: more opportunities to entertain, more, more feelings that felt like performing.
- 48:09Speaker 3: And my mom, who was you know, my team before
- 48:12Speaker 3: my team, she was like, you want to audition for
- 48:13Speaker 3: this Brocoli commercial? And I was like perfect. I just
- 48:16Speaker 3: wanted more opportunities to feel how singing made me feel.
- 48:18Speaker 3: So I know I wouldn't have started acting if I
- 48:20Speaker 3: never started saying.
- 48:21Speaker 10: So you like you said, you've been in the industry since,
- 48:23Speaker 10: you know, for a minute, what are some of the
- 48:25Speaker 10: things that you've learned thus far?
- 48:28Speaker 2: So many lessons.
- 48:31Speaker 3: I think the lesson that I am trying to continue
- 48:35Speaker 3: to learn right now is that, like, it's business and
- 48:39Speaker 3: things aren't personal all the time, you know what I'm saying, Like,
- 48:42Speaker 3: I want to be able to differentiate what is what,
- 48:47Speaker 3: and especially when things get more cracking, there's a lot
- 48:52Speaker 3: there's a lot more going on, so there's less time
- 48:54Speaker 3: to process things, you.
- 48:55Speaker 2: Know, smoking mirrors and yeah, I want to learn that more.
- 48:58Speaker 3: But I think with anything, persistence has been the biggest lesson.
- 49:03Speaker 3: A lot of this stuff just happened because I didn't
- 49:05Speaker 3: give up, you know, and everything kind of fell in
- 49:11Speaker 3: the same timing. But if there would have been no timing,
- 49:14Speaker 3: if I just gave up, you know what I'm saying.
- 49:16Speaker 3: So I really want to push that message out too.
- 49:18Speaker 3: When people watch my interviews, I always try to talk
- 49:20Speaker 3: about how long my journey was, in the highs and
- 49:22Speaker 3: the lows, and the points where I was like I'm
- 49:24Speaker 3: done here. I literally don't have it in me to
- 49:27Speaker 3: fight this battle anymore. But something would always keep me here,
- 49:29Speaker 3: and I know it was God, of course, an opportunity,
- 49:32Speaker 3: but it's really just not giving up.
- 49:33Speaker 1: How long did it take? Do you feel like?
- 49:37Speaker 3: I feel like if it was up to me, I
- 49:39Speaker 3: moved to LA when I was seventeen, and I had
- 49:41Speaker 3: my first like big moment of stardom when I was fourteen.
- 49:45Speaker 2: And I'm twenty.
- 49:46Speaker 3: Five, so ten years to me, you're still so young.
- 49:51Speaker 3: I mean, I started as a fetus. But if we're
- 49:53Speaker 3: going back to but if we're starting at nine, then
- 49:58Speaker 3: a hell a long time.
- 49:59Speaker 1: That's almost I did that math question.
- 50:02Speaker 5: You're easily the second tallest person in the room, shot Ron.
- 50:05Speaker 5: Ron's actually the tallest person in the room. I know
- 50:08Speaker 5: was an athlete? How was that growing up with a
- 50:10Speaker 5: professional athlete in the household? Did you was sports or
- 50:14Speaker 5: ever idea for you?
- 50:15Speaker 3: Oh?
- 50:15Speaker 5: Absolutely?
- 50:16Speaker 3: I thought basketball was gonna be my way to the top,
- 50:19Speaker 3: But my dad was he was retired by the time
- 50:21Speaker 3: that we were like all old enough. But he had
- 50:24Speaker 3: so much passion and so much joy that came from
- 50:28Speaker 3: his time in the league that he just was They
- 50:31Speaker 3: were so passionate about whatever we wanted to do, just
- 50:33Speaker 3: because he got to live his dream, live like a
- 50:35Speaker 3: one percenter's life, So how is he gonna have such
- 50:38Speaker 3: amazing stories of his glory days and then be like,
- 50:40Speaker 3: you can't sing. That's not realistic. You know, it just
- 50:42Speaker 3: didn't make any sense. So they were really supportive. But
- 50:45Speaker 3: they also instilled a really intense work ethic in us
- 50:47Speaker 3: because they both came from My mom came from entrepreneur background,
- 50:50Speaker 3: and my dad came from athletics, so that combination is crazy.
- 50:53Speaker 3: We would be out in summer doing drills and I'm like, now, now,
- 50:56Speaker 3: what is this for? Because what are we doing here?
- 51:00Speaker 3: Even when I stopped playing basketball and started singing, I
- 51:02Speaker 3: was like, I'm still out here.
- 51:03Speaker 5: I'm still doing summer camp.
- 51:05Speaker 3: Okay, sure, sure, But you know, I remember like there
- 51:08Speaker 3: was this one time where I was about to perform.
- 51:10Speaker 3: I think I was thirteen, and I don't know what
- 51:13Speaker 3: my dad had said, but it made me start getting
- 51:15Speaker 3: on the elliptical every day.
- 51:16Speaker 5: At five am.
- 51:17Speaker 3: And I was like thirteen, and I thought there was
- 51:20Speaker 3: like why did I do that? It was just so
- 51:22Speaker 3: random and wild, But they just exactly I wanted to
- 51:26Speaker 3: be so prepared, and they taught me a lot about
- 51:28Speaker 3: tenacity that I mean, about everything that they are the
- 51:31Speaker 3: reason that I am like I am, you know, and.
- 51:33Speaker 9: It's serving you now.
- 51:34Speaker 1: Man.
- 51:35Speaker 10: You got the EP out, Uh, you got bat Layer out?
- 51:39Speaker 10: What's next?
- 51:41Speaker 1: What else you got? Well?
- 51:42Speaker 2: I'm really excited to be on tour this summer.
- 51:45Speaker 3: I mean my EP has blown me away with the
- 51:48Speaker 3: amount of love that it's gotten.
- 51:50Speaker 2: I mean ever since I've been even in Atlanta today,
- 51:53Speaker 2: I didn't hurt my song on the radio.
- 51:54Speaker 5: Y I'm playing with me.
- 51:58Speaker 2: It's so so oh time man.
- 52:01Speaker 5: So I want to tour.
- 52:02Speaker 3: I want to go to all of d cities that
- 52:04Speaker 3: are showing me love and give them back that energy.
- 52:06Speaker 5: You know. I'm really excited to get more fans too.
- 52:08Speaker 10: What I didn't tell you is the EP Coco Jones.
- 52:11Speaker 10: We're so proud of you, man, the evolution. We watch
- 52:14Speaker 10: and come back anytime.
- 52:15Speaker 5: Man, we always we will be right back.
- 52:19Speaker 1: Stay tuned with more of the ball or Alert show message.
- 52:26Speaker 5: My son and my husband are not seeing eye the eyes.
- 52:29Speaker 5: My son is dating this girl and she isn't the
- 52:31Speaker 5: best female for our son. My husband, his dad is
- 52:35Speaker 5: way more vocal about it than I am about it,
- 52:38Speaker 5: and it's very rude towards the young lady. I love
- 52:40Speaker 5: my son and he's clearly happy with this young lady.
- 52:43Speaker 5: How do I get his dad on board?
- 52:45Speaker 4: First of all, you gotta tell Daddy stay out there,
- 52:46Speaker 4: stay out there little boy business, let him figure it out.
- 52:49Speaker 1: Give him some advice.
- 52:50Speaker 4: If you feel like that young lady is not a
- 52:52Speaker 4: good fit, express how you feel. But you can't take
- 52:54Speaker 4: it out on a young lady. So I think you
- 52:57Speaker 4: should sit down and tell your husband, let him fit
- 53:00Speaker 4: figure it out. If he needs some advice, then come
- 53:02Speaker 4: to you believe that little girl alone.
- 53:05Speaker 8: I think it's a little tricky when you have kids involved,
- 53:09Speaker 8: but you gotta make sure that you take your personal
- 53:12Speaker 8: feelings out of the picture and really kind of focus
- 53:15Speaker 8: on like why do you feel like this person isn't
- 53:18Speaker 8: good for the kid? Like what actually is Is it
- 53:20Speaker 8: because she's not exactly like you? Or like, first of all,
- 53:26Speaker 8: figure out why you feel that way, identify all those reasons,
- 53:29Speaker 8: and then have like a grown woman conversation with him.
- 53:32Speaker 5: You know what Dad realized when that little shouder came
- 53:34Speaker 5: over to the house. He smelled the fatness on the
- 53:38Speaker 5: little showders that came over with his son.
- 53:40Speaker 1: Okay, it's something that man can do. We can smell it.
- 53:44Speaker 5: She came by with his son, and he smelled some
- 53:48Speaker 5: bullshit in the house, and he just trying to keep
- 53:52Speaker 5: it a stack.
- 53:53Speaker 1: If we can put out a little you know what
- 53:55Speaker 1: I'm talking about.
- 53:56Speaker 5: He keeping it the stack with his son, because that's
- 53:58Speaker 5: what a dad is going to do to his son anyway,
- 53:59Speaker 5: A bro that ain't the one. So what you're trying
- 54:02Speaker 5: to say, he smelt the thought in her? Damn mom
- 54:06Speaker 5: is just trying to say, you know what, just let
- 54:08Speaker 5: him bump his head.
- 54:09Speaker 1: So a hole if he's happy, cool that over here?
- 54:13Speaker 5: Like, hey, she looked like she's a little thought.
- 54:17Speaker 9: Seen this before.
- 54:18Speaker 1: You've seen this before. She's a hole.
- 54:20Speaker 8: Maybe maybe I hadn't hear the baller mail, right, Okay,
- 54:23Speaker 8: so maybe usually.
- 54:26Speaker 5: Rib me from wrong, Ladies, when you meet the parents,
- 54:30Speaker 5: you own best behavior. You're trying to set an example of,
- 54:33Speaker 5: you know what, I'm the right person for your child.
- 54:37Speaker 5: And if you ain't setting the right example, guess what
- 54:39Speaker 5: he gonna do.
- 54:41Speaker 6: Sniff it out.
- 54:43Speaker 5: This one right here, she fucking and sucking and doing
- 54:46Speaker 5: a whole bunch of bullshit, about to.
- 54:48Speaker 1: Turn my baby out.
- 54:49Speaker 8: Hey, you don't think the dad wants the son having sex?
- 54:52Speaker 8: I see that that father's encouraged her.
- 54:55Speaker 1: But if we talk about seriousnesship in a situation.
- 54:59Speaker 6: And I don't think that that's the no, I don't.
- 55:01Speaker 4: I don't think that you can't be mean to the
- 55:03Speaker 4: girl though coming over, you can't be mean. You can't
- 55:06Speaker 4: be mean because at the end of the days. But listen,
- 55:09Speaker 4: this is our parents fall out. As this our parents
- 55:11Speaker 4: fall out.
- 55:11Speaker 8: Dad is triggered. She probably reminds him of a girl.
- 55:16Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, you.
- 55:17Speaker 1: Gotta let your son. Yes, that's what mama says.
- 55:22Speaker 4: If Literari meets meets a young lady at some point
- 55:25Speaker 4: and it's like, no, give me the exact and you
- 55:27Speaker 4: are mean to his girlfriend, he gonna be.
- 55:30Speaker 1: Like Dad, Listen, guys, I'm ready already give me that
- 55:32Speaker 1: poll pool. Don't don't raise in my hand.
- 55:35Speaker 5: I'm the ignorant parent. I don't fuck they don't put
- 55:39Speaker 5: me in none of this. Don't set me as an example.
- 55:41Speaker 5: I'm very ignorant.
- 55:42Speaker 10: And you better hope the little girl ain't smart because
- 55:44Speaker 10: she could get you.
- 55:45Speaker 9: You know.
- 55:46Speaker 1: Oh, you want to be rude to me, Well I
- 55:47Speaker 1: got something for that ass.
- 55:48Speaker 5: Oh, I'm gonna turn your son on you punk, turn
- 55:54Speaker 5: his ass out. She probably show up pregnant.
- 55:57Speaker 1: I don't want to see no spite for woman, show
- 55:59Speaker 1: what show up? Oh shit?
- 56:01Speaker 10: Or give them something irreversible though, all right, that was
- 56:10Speaker 10: baller mail. Before we get out of here, we got
- 56:12Speaker 10: a pep talk with Coco Jones.
- 56:14Speaker 3: Hey, y'all, it's Coco Jones. And if you do know
- 56:18Speaker 3: my journey, you know how long it's been. If you
- 56:19Speaker 3: don't know my journey, it's been a lot of time.
- 56:21Speaker 5: Come me.
- 56:22Speaker 3: But I would say my motivation for you guys is
- 56:25Speaker 3: whatever you're pursuing, find out your why, because in the
- 56:29Speaker 3: highs and the lows, that's gonna be what keeps you
- 56:31Speaker 3: from giving up.
- 56:32Speaker 2: Why are you doing this?
- 56:33Speaker 3: And if this is you know for you, then find
- 56:36Speaker 3: that truth that can you know, live inside of you
- 56:38Speaker 3: and cannot be changed by outside circumstances. Because the highs
- 56:41Speaker 3: they're gonna bring new energies, they're gonna bring new opinions.
- 56:43Speaker 3: The lows they're gonna bring some bring the real friends out.
- 56:47Speaker 3: So find your why and stick to that. And even
- 56:49Speaker 3: if it takes time, that doesn't mean it's not working.
- 56:51Speaker 3: It just means it's taking time.
- 56:53Speaker 1: Ballerler, I can't get enough of baller Alert. Follow us
