- 3:28SPEAKER_04: Well, Josh is also Asian.
- 3:30SPEAKER_03: His last name is Asian, but that's like what, Lee John?
- 3:37SPEAKER_03: Lee Roy.
- 3:38SPEAKER_03: Lee Roy.
- 3:39SPEAKER_03: I think it's more like Robert Ely in his case, but uh yeah, he's Asian.
- 3:44SPEAKER_04: Oh man, it was a it was a fun weekend.
- 3:46SPEAKER_04: I had a good weekend.
- 3:47SPEAKER_04: And yesterday I went to go see, I went to go see my cousin.

- 3:56SPEAKER_03: Okay, like I I actually care about like other people's weekends too.
- 3:59SPEAKER_03: Like, well, you're kind of rambling, nigga.
- 4:03SPEAKER_03: I want to talk about my weekend too, nigga.
- 4:05SPEAKER_03: Em, how was your weekend?
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: It was good.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: I I was with him half the time.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: So whatever he did, I did.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: So whatever he said, I did.
- 4:12SPEAKER_03: That's what's up.
- 4:12SPEAKER_03: That's what's up.
- 4:15SPEAKER_03: Like, um, I've actually hung up.
- 4:21SPEAKER_03: I got with Kev on his birthday.
- 4:23SPEAKER_03: It was actually pretty cool.
- 4:24SPEAKER_03: He uh you actually came up with the theme cap and gown.
- 4:27SPEAKER_03: I thought that's what the spot was doing, and I thought you were inviting me.
- 4:31SPEAKER_03: There's no way you thought that's what I thought.
- 4:33SPEAKER_03: I mean, come on, that's not a bad idea.
- 4:35SPEAKER_03: Pull up with your cap and gowns.
- 4:37SPEAKER_03: But unfortunately, I wasn't able to participate because I hung out with our other host, Chubbs, who sent me on a wild goose chase.
- 4:45SPEAKER_03: So, yeah, by the time I had to get ready, I was already late.
- 4:49SPEAKER_03: So but I wanted to participate, and um, it was a great thing.
- 4:53SPEAKER_03: And uh thanks for having me out.
- 4:55SPEAKER_03: Thank you for watching.
- 4:55SPEAKER_03: I mean, uh I don't accept that.
- 4:57SPEAKER_03: Like you could have got it done because I got it done.
- 5:01SPEAKER_03: How did you do that?
- 5:02SPEAKER_03: Like, you gonna ask me about my weekend?
- 5:04SPEAKER_03: But yeah, that's that's the setup.
- 5:07SPEAKER_03: How did you do that?
- 5:08SPEAKER_03: We gotta hear great.
- 5:09SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I had an amazing weekend too.
- 5:12SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna tell you how I did it.
- 5:13SPEAKER_03: But um, yeah, so I you know also went out for Kevin's birthday.
- 5:17SPEAKER_03: Uh Kev.
- 5:18SPEAKER_03: Sorry, Kevin.
- 5:18SPEAKER_03: Appreciate it.
- 5:19SPEAKER_03: Appreciate it.
- 5:19SPEAKER_03: This nigga's crazy.
- 5:21SPEAKER_03: I would rather you just have a fucking name.
- 5:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so I also went out for Kev's birthday.
- 5:27SPEAKER_03: Uh it was dope.
- 5:28SPEAKER_03: Um, I think uh New York City uh nightlife is dead.
- 5:32SPEAKER_03: I would say I only had a good time because you were there.
- 5:35SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 5:36SPEAKER_03: Because you are the life of the party.
- 5:37SPEAKER_03: Without you, um, it's just a bunch of awkward white people shaking, whatever.
- 5:41SPEAKER_03: Yeah, actually, uh funny enough, my brother cut you off.
- 5:43SPEAKER_03: There was one time that you walked me to the bar, yeah, you stopped to party as on your way to the bar.
- 5:49SPEAKER_03: Like you was dancing with people as you was walking to the bar.
- 5:52SPEAKER_03: So I just had to paint that picture of everybody to help your story sound a little bit better.
- 5:56SPEAKER_03: My story was boring without that part.
- 5:57SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 5:58SPEAKER_03: I agree.
- 5:59SPEAKER_03: But um, yeah, nah, um, I've been to that club many times, and normally how the night goes is downstairs, they let you do your little nerd shit.
- 6:06SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 6:07SPEAKER_03: And then like after about like, you know, halfway the night is over, everybody goes upstairs to dance.
- 6:12SPEAKER_03: But the whole club was a game night.
- 6:14SPEAKER_03: And I was like, oh wow.
- 6:16SPEAKER_03: So this is what we're doing.
- 6:17SPEAKER_03: But I think it's because um I can't speak today.
- 6:22SPEAKER_03: Am I gonna say that word today?
- 6:23SPEAKER_03: Uh the young kid.
- 6:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 6:26SPEAKER_03: I don't know why I can't say that word today.
- 6:28SPEAKER_03: Because I was drinking this weekend.
- 6:31SPEAKER_03: I'm still slurring.
- 6:32SPEAKER_03: I'm not even gonna try to say red leather, red leather leather.
- 6:36SPEAKER_03: I'm not gonna try to say that word.
- 6:38SPEAKER_03: Um yeah, those people, they um they don't party, I don't think.
- 6:43SPEAKER_03: I don't think they do club.
- 6:44SPEAKER_03: No.
- 6:44SPEAKER_04: So you you know what it is?
- 6:46SPEAKER_04: I feel like our generation, you know, when we was going to the club, yeah, that that was that was us like going out to enjoy the nightlife, you know, like anything could happen, you know.
- 6:59SPEAKER_04: But now when people just go out, it's just like yo, you know, we got we got sparkles, we got lights, we got bottles, we got this, that, and the third.
- 7:10SPEAKER_04: They're not there to actually enjoy themselves with the people that they with.
- 7:14SPEAKER_04: Gotcha, you know?
- 7:16SPEAKER_04: Like, I feel like every time we went out, the night life was always lit because it's like, yo, cartoon just did so, like, yo, man's was just over there.
- 7:27SPEAKER_04: Like, we was enjoying the night, you know.
- 7:30SPEAKER_04: But people can't do that anymore, man.
- 7:32SPEAKER_04: It's because of P.
- 7:33SPEAKER_04: Diddy.
- 7:34SPEAKER_04: So too many people getting afraid of taking drinks from people, you feel me?
- 7:40SPEAKER_03: I can kind of see the correlation there.
- 7:42SPEAKER_03: I can kind of see the correlation.
- 7:43SPEAKER_03: I wouldn't blame a black man for the destruction of night like culture, but that's just because, you know, I'm in I'm in my bag right now.
- 7:50SPEAKER_03: You know what?
- 7:51SPEAKER_03: I'm embarrassed I can't say that word.
- 7:55SPEAKER_03: I gotta, you know, I'm only gonna say words I know I know how to say the rest of the episode.
- 8:03SPEAKER_03: Why is he talking like that?
- 8:05SPEAKER_03: But uh nah, that's uh that's actually a pretty good segue.
- 8:08SPEAKER_03: I we have to have a P Diddy uh topic this week, do we?
- 8:11SPEAKER_03: I don't think so.
- 8:12SPEAKER_03: We don't, I don't think so.
- 8:14SPEAKER_03: But I mean he managed to stay in the news.
- 8:15SPEAKER_03: I just think we kind of left it off because we can't keep bringing him up every week.
- 8:20SPEAKER_03: Or we can.
- 8:21SPEAKER_03: Nah, it's all right.
- 8:23SPEAKER_03: I think like our last like five podcasts was just literally about how freaky of a nigga that's how freaky ass boy.
- 8:30SPEAKER_03: But were you surprised?
- 8:31SPEAKER_03: Nah.
- 8:31SPEAKER_03: Oh no, I wasn't.
- 8:32SPEAKER_03: I've been talking about Diddy for years.
- 8:33SPEAKER_03: Niggas is looking at me like I was hating.
- 8:36SPEAKER_03: Whatever.
- 8:37SPEAKER_03: But you know, destruction of another black man can't can't be doing that.
- 8:40SPEAKER_03: But um, yeah, and then I topped off my weekend pause with um, I went to the the legendary comedy cellar.
- 8:48SPEAKER_03: So I think a lot of people that live in New York City, we take the city for granted.
- 8:52SPEAKER_03: So the comedy cellar is like where a lot of legends like got their start.
- 8:56SPEAKER_03: Like I seen Kevin Hart on the wall, Dave Chappelle on the wall, like a ton of these dudes.
- 9:00SPEAKER_03: And I went for the first time, and it was it was dope.
- 9:04SPEAKER_03: Like the comedians, it was only one bad comedian, I'm not gonna expose her.
- 9:08SPEAKER_03: She was definitely a white woman.
- 9:10SPEAKER_03: So do do that.
- 9:12SPEAKER_03: I'm not gonna expose her, but you know, do it that as you may.
- 9:15SPEAKER_03: But um, it was a really dope night.
- 9:17SPEAKER_03: Um, but one thing I did notice was when they did the call out say, hey, how many people in here are from New York?
- 9:22SPEAKER_03: It was only like five people from New York in there.
- 9:25SPEAKER_03: So majority of the people that were there are tourists, and I'm like, damn, this shit was like New Yorkers don't even experience New York.
- 9:32SPEAKER_03: We just take all this shit for granted.
- 9:33SPEAKER_03: Cause like when you're from some fucking hole in the wall town and you get to see like there was a nigga from SNL there, right?
- 9:38SPEAKER_03: He was a comedian.
- 9:40SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 9:40SPEAKER_03: That nigga's on TV.
- 9:41SPEAKER_03: Like, you know what I'm saying?
- 9:43SPEAKER_03: We just take that type of shit for granted.
- 9:44SPEAKER_03: So it was dope.
- 9:44SPEAKER_03: And um, I know my main man Kev is like breaking into the comedy scene.
- 9:49SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and when I seen those comedians on stage, I was like, damn, I can see my man Kev doing this.
- 9:53SPEAKER_03: Like, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 9:55SPEAKER_04: But you to to speak on uh to speak on the thing in New York though, like um a lot of people do take a lot of stuff in New York for granted.
- 10:04SPEAKER_04: Like there's there's a there's a there's a lot of things to just to do in New York.
- 10:09SPEAKER_04: Like you could you could go up to like almost any New Yorker out there and just be like, yo, you ever been to the Botanical Gardens?
- 10:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 10:16SPEAKER_04: And a lot of people would say no.
- 10:18SPEAKER_04: Or like, yeah, I've been there once, but they didn't really like go, you know, or like those places.
- 10:23SPEAKER_04: But um even with the even like comedy.
- 10:27SPEAKER_04: Nigga, speaking to the mic.
- 10:28SPEAKER_04: My fault.
- 10:30SPEAKER_04: Even like the comedy cellar, you know, like I feel like that's just because it's a tourist trap.
- 10:37SPEAKER_04: Everybody in New York is like, we ain't gonna go to no tourist trap like a fucking comedy cellar when you got those dudes standing outside on Times Square, like, hey, you want to see some comedy?
- 10:47SPEAKER_04: You wanna see some comedy?
- 10:48SPEAKER_03: No, yeah.
- 10:49SPEAKER_03: That shit was fire, dog.
- 10:51SPEAKER_03: And I kind of have like really bad secondhand embarrassment.
- 10:54SPEAKER_03: So, like, I really don't want to put myself in a position where I'm like, damn.
- 11:01SPEAKER_03: Like, damn.
- 11:02SPEAKER_03: I got suckered into a comedy club by this dude.
- 11:05SPEAKER_03: Nah, just like they bombing and shit, I'm gonna laugh.
- 11:10SPEAKER_03: They don't even gotta be funny.
- 11:11SPEAKER_03: I'm like, damn, bro, like that shit really does fuck with me.
- 11:15SPEAKER_03: I don't know what it is, because like I can see somebody fall on the street, like, hopefully they don't get hurt, but like that I don't get embarrassed by that.
- 11:22SPEAKER_03: But it's like something about you putting yourself in position to be vulnerable, listen, and then you fuck up or like you fucking up.
- 11:28SPEAKER_03: When that white woman was bombing, I was thinking right in her face.
- 11:34SPEAKER_02: I was like, you gotta you gotta earn this lifestyle.
- 11:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, that's a fact, that's a fact, that's a fact.
- 11:42SPEAKER_03: She was making mad redneck type jokes.
- 11:44SPEAKER_03: I'm like, lady, we in New York shit.
- 11:46SPEAKER_03: Yeah, she's like, I got a man from Nebraska, and uh, yeah, he got a Nebraska dick.
- 11:52SPEAKER_03: I was like, you gotta eat a lot of corn to get a big dick.
- 11:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I was like, damn, like, dick can't be every punchline, bitch.
- 12:00SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I'm not sexy red, only sexy fucking dick.
- 12:04SPEAKER_03: But yeah, uh, shout out New York City, man.
- 12:07SPEAKER_03: To me, hating, but shout out New York City.
- 12:08SPEAKER_03: It just be disappointing me a little bit.
- 12:10SPEAKER_03: I just felt like, you know, when we went to Vegas, Vegas kind of really like, I mean, it's really the kind of the same setup.
- 12:19SPEAKER_03: Like people go there to have fun, enjoy themselves.
- 12:22SPEAKER_03: So I just feel like New York is not doing its best to like keep that same energy, man.
- 12:28SPEAKER_03: Nah, you can't.
- 12:28SPEAKER_03: And it don't always have to be partying, because I felt like Vegas just has a vibe to it, an energy to it.
- 12:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 12:34SPEAKER_03: That it just, you know, but maybe it's also like, you know, the weather.
- 12:36SPEAKER_03: Like it's hot most majority of the time.
- 12:38SPEAKER_03: It's not really humid.
- 12:40SPEAKER_03: So like, and you go outside, you could enjoy it.
- 12:43SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
- 12:44SPEAKER_04: I think I think it's just like the the pond you swim in, not to be deep, but like the place that you come from, you you you see it every day.
- 12:53SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 12:54SPEAKER_04: So like you just take it for granted, you know.
- 12:56SPEAKER_04: It's like I've I've been to Manhattan many times.
- 12:59SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you know, I've been to, I've been to like, what is that?
- 13:02SPEAKER_04: The Queens uh the field, the baseball stadium or whatever.
- 13:06SPEAKER_04: What's that park?
- 13:07SPEAKER_04: Um it's right off the seven.
- 13:09SPEAKER_04: It's like right off the city.
- 13:12SPEAKER_04: Yeah, my four.
- 13:13SPEAKER_04: I've been I've I've been down there before, you know, but it's it's not or even City Field.
- 13:18SPEAKER_04: Uh like I've been to those places, but it's like, or the Barclays, it's like Yeah, I see.
- 13:24SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 13:25SPEAKER_04: I've been there to been there.
- 13:26SPEAKER_04: But everyone that has been there, like, oh snap, you been there?
- 13:28SPEAKER_04: That place is crazy.
- 13:29SPEAKER_04: It's cool, you know.
- 13:30SPEAKER_04: Like, you just you just tend to take it for granted, you know.
- 13:33SPEAKER_04: It's just because you already here.
- 13:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I think that's probably exactly what it is.
- 13:38SPEAKER_03: Cause by the time I get to Vegas, I'm like, oh shit, like what I'm gonna do.
- 13:42SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 13:42SPEAKER_03: I don't really wake up in the morning and be like, oh shit, what I'm gonna do here.
- 13:46SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that nigga's.
- 13:47SPEAKER_03: I gotta I gotta try, man.
- 13:50SPEAKER_03: I I love New York.
- 13:51SPEAKER_03: All right, cool, man.
- 13:52SPEAKER_03: That's all I really wanted.
- 13:55SPEAKER_03: I love New York too, man.
- 13:56SPEAKER_03: Nah, nah, I'll jack that.
- 13:58SPEAKER_03: Let's go, Knicks.
- 14:01unknown: Come on.
- 14:02SPEAKER_03: I can't say that.
- 14:02SPEAKER_03: No.
- 14:03SPEAKER_03: Come on.
- 14:04SPEAKER_03: They're not in the playoffs.
- 14:05SPEAKER_03: It's over.
- 14:06SPEAKER_03: That Knicks shit was two weeks ago, nigga.
- 14:08SPEAKER_03: It's over.
- 14:08SPEAKER_03: I know, but that's what I love the city the most when that was the right.
- 14:12SPEAKER_03: I think we need to uh we need to win more.
- 14:14SPEAKER_03: That's true.
- 14:14SPEAKER_03: Um, since we have a uh woman in the room, like I want to like roll out our first topic.
- 14:19SPEAKER_03: I think it's a dope one.
- 14:20SPEAKER_03: Um I I think Chubbs invented this one, so the the writing is bad.
- 14:25SPEAKER_03: So I'm gonna just clean it up.
- 14:26SPEAKER_03: Um why do you think it's easier for women to plan things in a head?
- 14:30SPEAKER_03: But uh men Yeah, he's crazy.
- 14:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah, the way he wrote.
- 14:34SPEAKER_03: But men uh it's easier for men to make plans in the spur of the moment.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I would I would I saw this before when we were reading it, but um I just think like for women, it's just we got a lot of things we gotta do to set up.
- 14:48SPEAKER_00: For instance, when we were trying to go to Kev's party, um Hannah was supposed to go with this one chick, and uh she was like texting me, she's like, Hey, I just wanna know what I need to wear because I need to match the vibe.
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: So it's like now we gotta figure out like what are we gonna wear, how are we gonna do this, what's gonna happen.
- 15:05SPEAKER_00: On top of that, you know, girls will be girls.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: We need to put makeup on, we need to put other things on, we gotta make sure we have jewelry, we gotta make sure we match, we gotta make sure we look good, and on top of that, we gotta dance.
- 15:14SPEAKER_00: See, for me personally, I'm like, I gotta wear sneakers, I can't wear heels.
- 15:16SPEAKER_00: But some girls are like, nah, I have to wear heels, I have to make sure I look a certain way.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: But for me, I'm there, you know, to dance, you know.
- 15:22SPEAKER_00: So are you not gonna see me wear a whole bunch of heels?
- 15:25SPEAKER_00: Cause then that that's gonna come off.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: How are you gonna be wearing that, you know?
- 15:29SPEAKER_00: But there's a lot of things we gotta plan to like get there.
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: But with guys, they could just be like, all right, you trying to go to the store real quick?
- 15:34SPEAKER_05: They're like, oh, okay, sure, let's go.
- 15:36SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna stop you right there, all right?
- 15:38SPEAKER_03: You're not gonna do that.
- 15:40SPEAKER_03: We take a lot of pride in how we look too, all right?
- 15:44SPEAKER_03: So this is how our nights go.
- 15:45SPEAKER_03: Yo, bro, what color you wearing?
- 15:47SPEAKER_03: Because I ain't trying to wear the same color.
- 15:50SPEAKER_03: It starts like that.
- 15:52SPEAKER_03: Then we gotta make sure what you know what we're drinking tonight, bro.
- 15:55SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 15:55SPEAKER_03: If we doing dark, dark, light, dark, or we just gonna crash out and do both.
- 16:00SPEAKER_03: And then sometimes we're like, my man, you gonna wear that chain.
- 16:03SPEAKER_03: If you not wear that chain, I'm telling you, it's not that simple for dudes.
- 16:08SPEAKER_03: Um, but yeah, I don't, I don't um, I I just think that uh uh women like there's just a lot more expectations for y'all when y'all leave the house, just in general.
- 16:18SPEAKER_03: So I could I could definitely see that.
- 16:20SPEAKER_03: Um I think what Chuzz is trying to talk about though, because he's not here to defend himself.
- 16:25SPEAKER_03: So I'm gonna let I'm gonna let him live.
- 16:26SPEAKER_03: It's more on the lines of like how y'all live y'all lives.
- 16:29SPEAKER_03: Like everything is like planned out from like the beginning to the end.
- 16:32SPEAKER_03: Like, you know, women's lives are very like tracked, like, hey, I'm gonna go to school, I'm gonna get a husband, I'm gonna have a family.
- 16:39SPEAKER_03: Well, men, we still figuring this shit out.
- 16:42SPEAKER_03: Like, some days I wake up, I'm I'm I can't wait to be married.
- 16:46SPEAKER_03: Some days you wake up, you're like, nah, the streets is calm.
- 16:49SPEAKER_03: So I think like maybe that was more along the lines.
- 16:51SPEAKER_00: Well along those lines, I would say like for a woman in general in our society, we have to have these expectations, and we feel like we me need these expectations because of the society that we're in.
- 17:01SPEAKER_00: You know, and to go deeper into that, it's like for instance, when I was little, my mom always told me, You need to go to college because as a Spanish woman, as a Trinidadian and Chinese, I'm all three as that.
- 17:12SPEAKER_00: Chinese yeah, I'm also Chinese.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: Oh, really?
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but as as growing up or very young, my mom was like, You need to have an education because it's gonna be harder for you because you have to hustle more as a woman.
- 17:22SPEAKER_00: You know, men they they can do more things, you know, in certain aspects, you know, and they can get around, but for a woman it's it's harder.
- 17:29SPEAKER_00: So mom always told me, like, I have to get an education first, and that's the main thing I have to do.
- 17:33SPEAKER_00: And then after I do my education, you gotta, you know, move to the next steps.
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: What are you gonna do?
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: Are you gonna get married?
- 17:38SPEAKER_00: Because of course my mom's gonna be like, Oh, I want grandkids.
- 17:41SPEAKER_00: So then it's like there's always something more that we need to keep bringing to the table.
- 17:45SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: And so, like, that's why we're always like, we have to do this.
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: So let's start here, then let's do this, let's do that.
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: Everything is just like a goal for us, I think.
- 17:53SPEAKER_00: You know, and I'm speaking for you know, a couple women, maybe it's different for others, but for me personally, you know, I think that's what it was.
- 17:58SPEAKER_03: Because I was about to like counter that whole thing and be like, if you as a woman, if you don't have any morals, I think life is easy.
- 18:04SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 18:07SPEAKER_03: If you remove morals from your whole setup, yeah, hey, let's play a life wrong.
- 18:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah, easy mode.
- 18:12SPEAKER_03: Like, as a woman, man.
- 18:14SPEAKER_03: Log into OnlyFans, and like that's true.
- 18:16SPEAKER_03: I heard I heard like sex work is like a trap because once you get used to making, let's say you go be a stripper, you make a thousand dollars a week.
- 18:25SPEAKER_03: Yeah, how do you stop doing that to be a stand-up person?
- 18:27SPEAKER_03: Like, not saying strippers are sit down people, but it's like it's a trap.
- 18:32SPEAKER_03: Like you might say, I'm gonna just do this just to get to through school, and I know a stripper that did that, shout her out.
- 18:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but um the on the flip side, it's like I'm making a thousand a week, yeah.
- 18:43SPEAKER_03: I'ma stop making a thousand a week because y'all niggas think this shit is weird or what the fuck.
- 18:48SPEAKER_03: Your daddy in here.
- 18:48SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 18:50SPEAKER_04: I think it's just more so, and like that's just the way of living, you know.
- 18:53SPEAKER_04: Like you've you've grown accustomed to this way of living.
- 18:57SPEAKER_04: Like I've I'm making a thousand a week, and now I'm able to afford the things that I want in life and that I want to do.
- 19:04SPEAKER_04: And like you said, it is a trap in a way, like, you know, it's unfortunate, like it's unfortunate I had to go down this route in order for me to get what I want, but like this is I don't know, I don't know any other way to do it, you know?
- 19:19SPEAKER_03: But my thing is, right?
- 19:20SPEAKER_03: If the end all be all, it's money and stability, a thousand a week, how many weeks is there in a year?
- 19:27SPEAKER_03: 52 in a week?
- 19:29SPEAKER_03: That's 52.
- 19:30SPEAKER_03: You know what I'm saying?
- 19:31SPEAKER_03: Like, you can't find an entry-level job that's paying you 52,000.
- 19:35SPEAKER_03: And mind you, she don't gotta put in no eight hours.
- 19:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 19:38SPEAKER_03: Friday, Saturday, yeah, Friday, two days a week.
- 19:40SPEAKER_04: Y'all niggas is miling.
- 19:41SPEAKER_04: Oh, you may hey if I'm a woman.
- 19:43SPEAKER_04: If I was able to, you know, shake my ass for cash and get paid like that, why not?
- 19:48SPEAKER_04: Just saying.
- 19:50SPEAKER_04: That's how I look at it.
- 19:51SPEAKER_03: But I what if Chubbs also meant like trip-wise?
- 19:54SPEAKER_03: Oh, he did he put the word trip in it?
- 19:56SPEAKER_03: Nah.
- 19:57SPEAKER_03: But I also think like he kind of could have met that too.
- 19:59SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 19:59SPEAKER_03: So like getting rid of it.
- 20:00SPEAKER_03: Because like, we if we go on the fella's trip, only thing that we really honestly had planned was like the flight, the hotel we staying at, maybe the car rental, and then everything else is like.
- 20:11SPEAKER_03: I don't even plan our bills.
- 20:13SPEAKER_03: He's full of shit.
- 20:15SPEAKER_03: I go out of town, I got a list of food.
- 20:17SPEAKER_03: I'm a fat dude.
- 20:18SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah, that's a different thing.
- 20:20SPEAKER_03: That's a little different.
- 20:22SPEAKER_03: There's some niggas they go out of town, they eat in McDonald's, fucking we stops.
- 20:26SPEAKER_03: I go out of town, I literally get an itinerary for these niggas.
- 20:29SPEAKER_03: Like, hey, these are the fat spots we hit in.
- 20:32SPEAKER_03: So But yeah, that's different, though.
- 20:34SPEAKER_03: That's like us also making a list of like what clubs we heard was good.
- 20:38SPEAKER_03: I think we used to go out.
- 20:40SPEAKER_03: That's not really like really.
- 20:41SPEAKER_03: I'm talking about uh the all the times we've been to Vegas, probably like three, four times.
- 20:45SPEAKER_03: I know they got the A TV.
- 20:47SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we've never done tourists.
- 20:48SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 20:49SPEAKER_03: And you think women do that?
- 20:50SPEAKER_03: It's I'm pretty sure.
- 20:52SPEAKER_03: Like, okay, you you and Kev has been where so far together?
- 20:55SPEAKER_00: We went to um Bahamas.
- 20:57SPEAKER_03: All right, and um who has came up with the more with the plans of like what we're gonna do when we get to Bahamas?
- 21:03SPEAKER_00: It would be me.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: Of course.
- 21:05SPEAKER_03: And I wonder why.
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: And I wonder why.
- 21:07SPEAKER_00: And I wonder why.
- 21:09SPEAKER_03: Kevin knows that's out, though.
- 21:12SPEAKER_03: Like, why?
- 21:15SPEAKER_03: Like me, I'm gonna be like, yo, listen, there's no way that parental and shit y'all wanna do is cool, but they got a fucking Chi Chi Chonka on the block.
- 21:25SPEAKER_03: We never had that before.
- 21:26SPEAKER_03: So I I'm not giving women the W on.
- 21:29SPEAKER_03: I don't know, man.
- 21:29SPEAKER_03: I just feel like when women playing the trip, I ain't gonna I've been on boys' trip and I've been on trips with a couple's trip, and I definitely say I do way more excursions when I'm on a couple's trip.
- 21:41SPEAKER_03: So let me ask you a question.
- 21:42SPEAKER_03: I think it's this is how I'm gonna win this argument.
- 21:44SPEAKER_03: There's a woman in the room, right?
- 21:46SPEAKER_03: Why then how come all girls' trips, girl only trips, end up in chaos and fighting and such and such.
- 21:52SPEAKER_03: That bitch broke.
- 21:53SPEAKER_03: That bitch came out here with no.
- 21:54SPEAKER_02: That's because they want to do everything.
- 21:58SPEAKER_02: They couldn't get one thing done.
- 22:00SPEAKER_02: And then when they come back, they're not friends.
- 22:02SPEAKER_03: Because the thing is, though, that's because men aren't fighting over like so there's 24 hours in a day, okay?
- 22:07SPEAKER_03: Men aren't fighting over what we're about to do with those 24 hours.
- 22:10SPEAKER_03: Women are gonna fight over those 24 hours.
- 22:12SPEAKER_03: We gotta do this, we gotta do that, gotta.
- 22:14SPEAKER_03: All we do, honestly, we wake up in the morning, and all you care about is eventually we gotta hit that chimney chunker spot.
- 22:20SPEAKER_03: It could be at five o'clock, it could be at two o'clock, it could be one o'clock, but we gotta go at one point.
- 22:24SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 22:25SPEAKER_03: Women is is opposite.
- 22:26SPEAKER_03: So you're saying that men are more efficient?
- 22:28SPEAKER_03: No.
- 22:30SPEAKER_02: You can only complete that chimney chunk.
- 22:33SPEAKER_02: That's one.
- 22:34SPEAKER_02: Not efficient.
- 22:37SPEAKER_03: That's not efficient.
- 22:38SPEAKER_03: Wonderful.
- 22:42SPEAKER_03: That's not efficient.
- 22:43SPEAKER_03: That was the goal, nigga.
- 22:45SPEAKER_04: Y'all crazy, man.
- 22:46SPEAKER_04: That's not efficient.
- 22:47SPEAKER_04: I'm not giving women that.
- 22:48SPEAKER_03: If you make some successful woman's trip, hey, I got it.
- 22:50SPEAKER_03: But ain't no such thing.
- 22:52SPEAKER_03: Nah, that's true.
- 22:52SPEAKER_03: That's a messed up.
- 22:53SPEAKER_03: Have you been on a woman's trip?
- 22:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I've been on one, but it there's a you're right.
- 22:59SPEAKER_00: I can even defend.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: I can't defend.
- 23:01SPEAKER_03: What she's trying to say is I don't talk to them bitches no more.
- 23:03SPEAKER_03: Nah, that's exactly what happened.
- 23:05SPEAKER_00: Nah, it's just because like we're all like, we want to do a whole bunch of things, you know, and we're like, we like excursions, but like some girls are like, oh, I don't want to wake up early, and some do.
- 23:14SPEAKER_00: Then it's like, all right, you know, because I like to wake up a little bit later.
- 23:16SPEAKER_00: I do.
- 23:16SPEAKER_00: I'll be like, hi.
- 23:18SPEAKER_00: Like, yeah, it's like I'm sitting here, like, I'll wake up at 12.
- 23:20SPEAKER_00: But my girl's like, nah, we gotta wake up at 9 a.m.
- 23:22SPEAKER_00: because we gotta start the day.
- 23:23SPEAKER_00: We have all these things planned, so then it causes problems.
- 23:25SPEAKER_00: And then you're like, oh, well, you know, she doesn't want to get up and she doesn't want to do that.
- 23:29SPEAKER_00: So then we end up getting into arguments, you know, and then it's a whole thing.
- 23:32SPEAKER_03: What about the broke bitch?
- 23:33SPEAKER_03: That's the bitch.
- 23:34SPEAKER_03: That's the bitch I want to talk about.
- 23:35SPEAKER_00: You know, no, she's always there.
- 23:37SPEAKER_00: She's always there, she's always there on the free limb, you know.
- 23:40SPEAKER_03: I don't know what y'all are doing, but I ain't got no money.
- 23:43SPEAKER_03: That's how that goes.
- 23:45SPEAKER_03: But yeah, that's that.
- 23:46SPEAKER_03: Thanks, thanks, Charles, for that topic.
- 23:47SPEAKER_03: Um, what what y'all want to talk about next?
- 23:49SPEAKER_03: We got politics, we got BBL Drizzy.
- 23:53SPEAKER_02: BBL Drizzy.
- 23:54SPEAKER_03: I have something to tell y'all.
- 23:56SPEAKER_03: I never heard like the first part, like the original.
- 23:59SPEAKER_03: It's just a beat.
- 23:59SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I never even heard it.
- 24:00SPEAKER_03: No?
- 24:01SPEAKER_03: No.
- 24:01SPEAKER_03: Until like Drake rapped on it, I didn't hear it.
- 24:03SPEAKER_03: I didn't even hear that.
- 24:04SPEAKER_03: I wanted to hear that.
- 24:05SPEAKER_04: I couldn't find it.
- 24:05SPEAKER_03: Oh, right?
- 24:06SPEAKER_03: Oh, no, no, you could find it.
- 24:08SPEAKER_03: It's just that the beat changes.
- 24:09SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 24:09SPEAKER_03: It's a sexy red song.
- 24:11SPEAKER_03: And you gotta you don't really gotta listen.
- 24:14SPEAKER_03: Luckily, we have fast forward buttons, but it's like, what are you trying to say?
- 24:18SPEAKER_03: I don't really like the song.
- 24:19SPEAKER_03: And I like sexy red.
- 24:20SPEAKER_03: I ain't gonna lie.
- 24:21SPEAKER_03: Cool, cool.
- 24:21SPEAKER_03: I like sexy red.
- 24:23SPEAKER_03: I was like, damn, bro, the song is violently like, but if you skip like I think a minute and 45 seconds, because he raps on the original beat, and then it switches over when he starts talking about BBLs.
- 24:34SPEAKER_04: So yeah, if you get a chance, send me the link to that song.
- 24:37SPEAKER_04: Because I don't know if I found the right one.
- 24:39SPEAKER_04: Yeah, trust me.
- 24:40SPEAKER_03: I'll send it to you though.
- 24:41SPEAKER_03: It's 2024.
- 24:42SPEAKER_03: You could delight.
- 24:45SPEAKER_03: Yo, Kev texted me one time.
- 24:47SPEAKER_03: This is I really I really do appreciate somebody like Kev.
- 24:50SPEAKER_03: I was supposed to Kev maybe like weeks prior before this text message, but he texted me from an email that has his first name and last name.
- 24:58SPEAKER_03: And he's like, Yo, bro, if you want to reach me, this is how you reach me.
- 25:02SPEAKER_03: And I'm living off the grid right now.
- 25:04SPEAKER_03: But usually I answered him back.
- 25:07SPEAKER_03: And I don't know if he was serious or not to this day.
- 25:09SPEAKER_03: But he's like, how you knew it was me?
- 25:11SPEAKER_03: Remember, I told you his email is his first name and his last name.
- 25:16SPEAKER_03: I'm like, nah, bro, this guy can't be serious.
- 25:19SPEAKER_04: But yeah, in my defense, in my defense, I just got a new number and a new phone, quote unquote.
- 25:26SPEAKER_04: And uh when I say quote unquote, because I had to return my old one and it refurbished whatever.
- 25:32SPEAKER_04: So I texted him, and I didn't realize it was just going based off of my email or something.
- 25:40SPEAKER_04: Oh, so he didn't do that.
- 25:41SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it didn't go, it went based off of my like, what is that?
- 25:44SPEAKER_04: The iPhone email?
- 25:45SPEAKER_04: Yeah, the Apple ID or something.
- 25:47SPEAKER_04: Yeah, the Apple ID.
- 25:48SPEAKER_04: So that's why I was like, oh shit.
- 25:50SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, that shit was that shit was hilarious to me.
- 25:53SPEAKER_03: I was like, it's no way he's serious.
- 25:54SPEAKER_03: So this is how we share music now.
- 25:56SPEAKER_03: Oh, you got you got Apple Music.
- 25:58SPEAKER_03: No, you just type in new sexy red or some shit like that, and you find the song.
- 26:04SPEAKER_03: Like we don't do the send a link, man.
- 26:06SPEAKER_04: Nah, nah.
- 26:06SPEAKER_04: Let me put it to you this way.
- 26:07SPEAKER_04: If you if you said like the whole Kendrake and Kendrick 3 was like um it came off of one song or whatever, I couldn't tell you what song it started with.
- 26:20SPEAKER_04: Like I would say, what what was it?
- 26:22SPEAKER_04: It was what um it was Kendrick.
- 26:24SPEAKER_04: It's a big three.
- 26:26SPEAKER_03: Like I wouldn't the song is like that.
- 26:28SPEAKER_04: Yeah, like that.
- 26:29SPEAKER_04: I wouldn't know that that's where that's from.
- 26:32SPEAKER_04: You know what I mean?
- 26:33SPEAKER_04: Like I wouldn't know like that that this is from that song.
- 26:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so it's not a technology thing, you're just out the loop.
- 26:39SPEAKER_03: Pretty much.
- 26:40SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 26:41SPEAKER_03: So that's why I was like sending me the link.
- 26:42SPEAKER_03: So I'm gonna say this very slow.
- 26:44SPEAKER_03: BBL Drizzy is like a thing Kendrick was like teasing Drake about.
- 26:49SPEAKER_03: Nah, I know that.
- 26:50SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 26:51SPEAKER_03: I just don't know where you at.
- 26:52SPEAKER_04: I'm just beat.
- 26:55SPEAKER_04: What I'm saying is the BBL Drizzy where Drake is rapping over that beat.
- 27:00SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I don't know what song.
- 27:02SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's brand new.
- 27:03SPEAKER_03: I can't even tell you the name of the song.
- 27:05SPEAKER_04: That's what I'm saying.
- 27:06SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I can't even help you out.
- 27:07SPEAKER_03: The magician, I mean the musician.
- 27:09SPEAKER_03: Send me the link.
- 27:10SPEAKER_03: Send me the link.
- 27:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I'm like, we're not sending links, nigga.
- 27:14SPEAKER_03: That's what I'm trying to get at.
- 27:15SPEAKER_03: We're not doing it.
- 27:17SPEAKER_03: I've got to do it.
- 27:18SPEAKER_03: All right, fine.
- 27:18SPEAKER_03: Forward me the link.
- 27:19SPEAKER_03: I can text it to you.
- 27:20SPEAKER_03: All right, that's fine.
- 27:22SPEAKER_03: You do your link yourself.
- 27:24SPEAKER_03: Niggas is wild.
- 27:25SPEAKER_03: But yeah, BBL Drissy.
- 27:27SPEAKER_03: Um, I like, I didn't hear it by the way.
- 27:29SPEAKER_03: Um, but I do like the fact that um he's he's playing chess.
- 27:34SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 27:35SPEAKER_03: I think that was smart.
- 27:36SPEAKER_03: Um, somebody, you know, one of his fans kind of did like a super reach.
- 27:39SPEAKER_03: I don't even know if it's true.
- 27:40SPEAKER_03: Now he now sexy rendering them technically owned the beat.
- 27:43SPEAKER_03: I don't think that's how that works.
- 27:45SPEAKER_03: Me either.
- 27:45SPEAKER_03: Because you have to pay Metro at some point.
- 27:48SPEAKER_03: But they said that it was free.
- 27:49SPEAKER_03: Like Metro, like to left it out there in the world.
- 27:53SPEAKER_03: So, like that could be the case.
- 27:54SPEAKER_03: I forgot, I forgot about that part.
- 27:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I forgot about that part.
- 27:57SPEAKER_03: Because he definitely gave people the right to right to make music too, yeah.
- 28:01SPEAKER_04: That's trash.
- 28:02SPEAKER_04: But that's trash, really.
- 28:04SPEAKER_04: So hold on.
- 28:04SPEAKER_04: We we're gonna let out a free beat, right?
- 28:08SPEAKER_04: And so now sexy red and Drake are gonna rap over that beat, take the beat, make money off of it.
- 28:14SPEAKER_04: It's there.
- 28:15SPEAKER_04: It's theirs now, and then after, we just gonna, oh, you you you got this beat on your song?
- 28:23SPEAKER_04: We're gonna take that too because we own it.
- 28:26SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you know?
- 28:26SPEAKER_04: I think that's trash.
- 28:28SPEAKER_04: That's a fucking conversation.
- 28:29SPEAKER_04: That's a fucking colonizer.
- 28:30SPEAKER_04: Hey, I don't want to hear that.
- 28:32SPEAKER_04: How you gonna take something that's free?
- 28:34SPEAKER_03: I got I got something for him.
- 28:35SPEAKER_03: Hold on.
- 28:35SPEAKER_03: So when you were shaking your ass to Drake's songs last night, would you call him a colonizer then?
- 28:40SPEAKER_04: Wait, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 28:43SPEAKER_04: Drake made good music.
- 28:45SPEAKER_04: I ain't gonna sit here and say that he don't make good music.
- 28:47SPEAKER_04: Cool.
- 28:47SPEAKER_04: I just want to make sure we're on the same page.
- 28:49SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I'm not gonna say he don't make good music.
- 28:51SPEAKER_04: Thank you.
- 28:51SPEAKER_04: But like I'm not a Drake fan, though.
- 28:53SPEAKER_04: That's fine.
- 28:53SPEAKER_04: Actually, I'm a Drake fan now.
- 28:54SPEAKER_04: I'm sorry.
- 28:55SPEAKER_04: I am.
- 28:56SPEAKER_04: But all I'm saying is, like, how you gonna if if you're if you're I'ma get back at you is I'ma take this beat.
- 29:03SPEAKER_04: I wanna say still, but legally, I'ma just take this beat because it's free and then I have to make money off of it.
- 29:09SPEAKER_04: Come on, really.
- 29:10SPEAKER_03: I mean, how else would you battle the fact that people are calling you like PBL truths?
- 29:15SPEAKER_03: It's never gonna go away.
- 29:17SPEAKER_04: It's not gonna go away.
- 29:18SPEAKER_03: I think this is about to be over next week, type shit.
- 29:20SPEAKER_03: Really?
- 29:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 29:21SPEAKER_04: I think the beef is over, like I think it like fizzled out, yes.
- 29:25SPEAKER_03: But I I think that beat is a popular beat on like um Instagram.
- 29:29SPEAKER_03: Like people you know how when people like promoting something?
- 29:32SPEAKER_03: Oh, and they put something, yeah, they they been they definitely been putting that behind there.
- 29:36SPEAKER_03: All right, all right.
- 29:37SPEAKER_03: So it's like trending.
- 29:38SPEAKER_03: It's a trending uh trending effect.
- 29:40SPEAKER_03: Yeah, trending uh noise that you could pick.
- 29:43SPEAKER_03: Or sound, that's what it is.
- 29:44SPEAKER_03: Sound you can pick, yeah.
- 29:45SPEAKER_00: Do you think someone like won between Kendrick and Oh absolutely?
- 29:49SPEAKER_00: Well who who do you think?
- 29:50SPEAKER_03: The culture.
- 29:52SPEAKER_03: No, no, no, all right.
- 29:53SPEAKER_03: Kendrick Lamar spanked that boy.
- 29:55SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, I think I'm Drake that beef made me a fan of Drake though.
- 30:00SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 30:00SPEAKER_03: Like I always liked his music in the club.
- 30:03SPEAKER_03: Like, I would never play Drake's music like by myself.
- 30:05SPEAKER_03: But now, like, I I respect his pen a lot more, and I'm actually going back into his discography.
- 30:10SPEAKER_03: And I'm like, damn, this guy.
- 30:12SPEAKER_03: Now I see why people love Drake outside of just uh the hits.
- 30:15SPEAKER_03: How do you feel about sexy red?
- 30:17SPEAKER_00: I love her.
- 30:20SPEAKER_00: I do, I do love her.
- 30:21SPEAKER_00: I I do know there's a lot of controversy though, because now like people are seeing women as just someone as sexy red, you know, and turned off.
- 30:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know, but um I I don't know it's it's a it's a balance because um like for instance, I I watch sexy red's like music, new music videos, the ones even with Drake and stuff, and I showed my mom it actually.
- 30:41SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's it.
- 30:42SPEAKER_00: And my mom likes music like that.
- 30:43SPEAKER_00: She does, so yeah, she was messing with it, you know.
- 30:45SPEAKER_00: But then she's like, oh man, but I just feel like this is kind of degrading women in some way, you know.
- 30:50SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, yeah, I could see that too, but it also could be them just expressing themselves.
- 30:53SPEAKER_00: They're just you're just having a good time, you know.
- 30:56SPEAKER_00: But there's a there's a balance to it, you know.
- 30:58SPEAKER_03: This is my thing, man.
- 30:59SPEAKER_03: Snoop Dogg came out with bitches ain't shit, but holding a trick.
- 31:03SPEAKER_03: If we all if if men could talk about women like that, why can't Why can't women do it too?
- 31:08SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 31:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and that's how I see it.
- 31:09SPEAKER_03: I think it's unfair to put sexy red in that box and then you got ice spice.
- 31:13SPEAKER_03: Um, for for every sexy red and ice spice, there's Gene Grace, there's Lauren Hills, like there's a balance.
- 31:20SPEAKER_03: Like, for we have future and J.
- 31:21SPEAKER_03: Cole.
- 31:22SPEAKER_03: Why why can't women have both?
- 31:23SPEAKER_03: You know what I'm saying?
- 31:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 31:25SPEAKER_03: I just think like, you know, niggas want to hate.
- 31:27SPEAKER_03: Yeah, exactly.
- 31:27SPEAKER_00: And that's what I said.
- 31:28SPEAKER_00: I love her.
- 31:28SPEAKER_00: I really do.
- 31:29SPEAKER_00: Like, I like all her music.
- 31:30SPEAKER_00: I'd be I'd be getting down with it.
- 31:32SPEAKER_03: You know, fuck with that shit too.
- 31:34SPEAKER_03: I like it.
- 31:34SPEAKER_03: You would you would fucking uh I was speaking to you.
- 31:39SPEAKER_02: I know exactly who you're talking to.
- 31:42SPEAKER_03: I probably would, man.
- 31:43SPEAKER_03: I probably would.
- 31:44SPEAKER_03: Um I thought you were a colorist.
- 31:53SPEAKER_04: I was gonna ask you, why why do you like light sexy red?
- 31:58SPEAKER_04: She gets the bitches turnt.
- 32:00SPEAKER_03: That's simple, dog.
- 32:02SPEAKER_03: It's really that simple.
- 32:03SPEAKER_03: It's the same reason I fuck with ice bikes music.
- 32:05SPEAKER_03: When her shit comes on, the energy is just different.
- 32:08SPEAKER_03: It shifts.
- 32:09SPEAKER_03: Like, it's like when women, it's like they get the ball now.
- 32:12SPEAKER_03: Like once ice bikes, sexy red music come on, women get the ball now.
- 32:15SPEAKER_03: They get to dictate how the party's going.
- 32:16SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 32:17SPEAKER_03: And then they was in there playing shuffleboard.
- 32:20SPEAKER_03: I got upset.
- 32:21SPEAKER_03: I was like, I'm too old for this shit.
- 32:23SPEAKER_03: But nah, I'll fuck with sexy red.
- 32:25SPEAKER_03: But I do understand, like, I just hate when people get into like the respectability politics when it comes to music.
- 32:31SPEAKER_03: Like, dog, every like era has like the balance.
- 32:35SPEAKER_03: Like you have to have both things.
- 32:37SPEAKER_03: Like, that's that's hip hop, that's music.
- 32:38SPEAKER_04: Like, you know what?
- 32:39SPEAKER_04: I think it's I think the people that's saying that that don't like this is coming from our era, and this is new.
- 32:47SPEAKER_04: This is just new.
- 32:48SPEAKER_04: I disagree.
- 32:49SPEAKER_04: I think it's old heads man.
- 32:50SPEAKER_04: So you know what?
- 32:51SPEAKER_04: Let me let me just speak for myself.
- 32:53SPEAKER_04: Please.
- 32:53SPEAKER_04: Honestly, it's like I don't really listen to sexy red or ice spice.
- 32:59SPEAKER_04: They don't make music for you though.
- 33:01SPEAKER_04: That's the thing.
- 33:01SPEAKER_04: They don't make music.
- 33:03SPEAKER_04: Speak to the mic too, bro.
- 33:04SPEAKER_04: Sorry.
- 33:05SPEAKER_04: They don't make music for me.
- 33:07SPEAKER_04: But at the same time, I do see I'm I'm starting to understand the appeal to it, you know.
- 33:13SPEAKER_04: Like, I never really seen it as like the energy.
- 33:16SPEAKER_04: I'm like, oh, why they why they just sitting there with their asses out or whatever, you know.
- 33:19SPEAKER_04: You didn't like that.
- 33:20SPEAKER_04: Huh?
- 33:21SPEAKER_04: Nah, I'm I'm not really.
- 33:24SPEAKER_04: I know you're not here.
- 33:26SPEAKER_04: Come on, my lady's witness.
- 33:27SPEAKER_04: Yeah, right.
- 33:30SPEAKER_04: She said she liked it.
- 33:31SPEAKER_04: Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah.
- 33:32SPEAKER_04: It's just, I don't know.
- 33:34SPEAKER_04: I just I've I've I've never I've never really, this is new to me.
- 33:39SPEAKER_04: You know, I'm out of the loop, as you would say.
- 33:41SPEAKER_04: I'm out of the loop when it comes to stuff like that, you know?
- 33:43SPEAKER_04: So it's like seeing it and hearing it is like, wow, it's crazy.
- 33:48SPEAKER_04: Hip hop is hip-hop is wild.
- 33:52SPEAKER_04: Hip hop, hip hop, it's wild, bro.

- 33:56SPEAKER_04: It just changes.
- 33:56SPEAKER_04: I love it.
- 33:57SPEAKER_04: Yeah, man.
- 33:58SPEAKER_04: It's wonderful.

- 34:11SPEAKER_04: That and she looks like Lil' Orphan Aaron.
- 34:13SPEAKER_04: That's it.
- 34:14SPEAKER_04: She's bad.

- 34:41SPEAKER_00: I didn't even hear about that.

- 34:44SPEAKER_03: I thought it was I thought it was Diddy again.
- 34:48SPEAKER_03: That's what I'm doing too.
- 34:49SPEAKER_03: Hold on, Sean Kingston.
- 34:51SPEAKER_03: Where have I heard that?
- 34:52SPEAKER_03: I haven't heard his name in a long time.
- 34:54SPEAKER_03: And then they was dragging his mom out of the crib.
- 34:56SPEAKER_03: And then I started doing some.
- 34:58SPEAKER_03: Johnny Dang was the first person that responded.
- 35:00SPEAKER_03: He's like, so how do I get my money now?
- 35:03SPEAKER_03: That's the shit I'm gonna be liking, bro.

- 35:07SPEAKER_03: Yo, Sean Kingston's out here committing fraud and they got him.

- 35:17SPEAKER_03: I guess he was telling people, hey, I'll pay you back.
- 35:20SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 35:20SPEAKER_03: Oh, this is all over$150,000 debt.
- 35:25SPEAKER_03: Which is a lot of money to like normal day people.
- 35:28SPEAKER_03: It's not.
- 35:29SPEAKER_03: But yeah, yeah, yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 35:31SPEAKER_03: Rate a nigga crib of$150K.

- 35:42SPEAKER_03: I just again, I'm gonna put my Plymouth rock hat on, and I'm tired of seeing the destruction of black men on TV.
- 35:48SPEAKER_03: He gotta pay the bill.
- 35:49SPEAKER_03: Come on, come on, come on.
- 35:51SPEAKER_03: Why he gotta pay?

- 35:58SPEAKER_04: Oh, that was different.
- 35:59SPEAKER_03: Get the fuck out of here.
- 36:01SPEAKER_03: All the kings that made beautiful girls.
- 36:03SPEAKER_03: And how long is that supposed to last?
- 36:06SPEAKER_03: The legendary song.
- 36:08SPEAKER_04: That nigga committed suicide.
- 36:10SPEAKER_04: What happened to that?
- 36:10SPEAKER_04: Yeah, bro.
- 36:14SPEAKER_04: That's true.
- 36:15SPEAKER_03: That's true.

- 36:40SPEAKER_03: That's what it sounds like to me.
- 36:42SPEAKER_03: Nah, nah, nah.
- 36:42SPEAKER_03: That's the song.
- 36:44SPEAKER_03: Cool.
- 36:44SPEAKER_03: But yeah, like, you make a good point.
- 36:46SPEAKER_03: That was a hit record.

- 36:52SPEAKER_03: You should think you just because you make good music, you supposed to get like.
- 36:55SPEAKER_03: 150K?
- 36:56SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 36:58SPEAKER_03: My mama should not be getting dragged in the back.
- 36:59SPEAKER_03: Nah, that's definitely fine.
- 37:01SPEAKER_03: Suicide on beautiful girls and all that.
- 37:03SPEAKER_03: So my thing is though, when you work on your contracts, you better make sure that you have some type of residuals in the city.
- 37:08SPEAKER_03: I think the game is rigged for black folk to be on TV getting arrested.
- 37:12SPEAKER_03: Getting arrested?
- 37:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 37:14SPEAKER_03: I don't watch the news enough to see anybody else get arrested.
- 37:18SPEAKER_03: But you on to something.
- 37:19SPEAKER_03: His mama, bro.
- 37:20SPEAKER_03: If she's in the crib.
- 37:22SPEAKER_03: What does that mean?
- 37:23SPEAKER_03: She's complicit?
- 37:24SPEAKER_03: Nah, I didn't care.
- 37:25SPEAKER_03: Johnny Dang.
- 37:26SPEAKER_03: If I see Johnny Dang, I'm gonna have a problem with him.
- 37:28SPEAKER_03: 100%.

- 37:35SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I didn't like that.
- 37:38SPEAKER_03: Why the hell are you giving him like a chain and he can't pay for it?
- 37:42SPEAKER_03: I would pay Johnny Dang$100,000 and say that sentence five times in a row.
- 37:47SPEAKER_03: That's the toughest shit on more.
- 37:49SPEAKER_03: Fuck Johnny Dang.
- 37:51SPEAKER_03: You shouldn't bother me.
- 37:53SPEAKER_03: He don't have a job without black people.
- 37:54SPEAKER_03: That's what I'm saying.
- 37:55SPEAKER_03: That's why I don't like it, bro.
- 37:56SPEAKER_03: He sold a chain to another black person.
- 37:58SPEAKER_03: Actually, funny enough, that video that I was talking about with uh what's the sauce walker?
- 38:03SPEAKER_03: He's arguing inside Johnny Dang's shit.

- 38:08SPEAKER_03: What about Ben Baller?
- 38:09SPEAKER_03: He's Asian too, right?
- 38:10SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 38:10SPEAKER_03: I'd rather him.
- 38:11SPEAKER_03: I never seen him in no controversy.
- 38:14SPEAKER_03: Ben Baller Shot Cola?
- 38:17SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 38:21SPEAKER_03: Ben Baller Shot Cola.

- 38:29SPEAKER_03: Like, well, he gotta do time.
- 38:30SPEAKER_03: Is his mom free?

- 38:42SPEAKER_03: I don't like this shit, man.
- 38:44SPEAKER_03: Oh man.

- 38:55SPEAKER_03: Fuck.
- 38:56SPEAKER_03: But you you're right, you gotta pay a bill.
- 38:58SPEAKER_03: That's all I'm saying, bro.
- 39:00SPEAKER_03: Once I read that's what it was about.
- 39:02SPEAKER_03: Like, I'm just like, come on, man.
- 39:04SPEAKER_03: Yeah, the bar the bar is the bar is pretty low, but like I think the the record uh industry is fucked up in the sense that like I'm saying 150k to a nigga like him, he got cars as perfect.
- 39:14SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 39:15SPEAKER_03: Sean Kingston?
- 39:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 39:17SPEAKER_03: Sure, yeah.
- 39:18SPEAKER_03: Come on, bro.
- 39:19SPEAKER_03: Oh, for one record.
- 39:20SPEAKER_03: No, he had an album.
- 39:22SPEAKER_03: He had an album.
- 39:23SPEAKER_03: He's still is he still making music?
- 39:24SPEAKER_03: I I couldn't tell you to be honest.
- 39:26SPEAKER_03: That's what I'm saying.
- 39:27SPEAKER_00: He kind of does though, but it's not like big, you know.
- 39:29SPEAKER_00: I've seen a couple of songs that he's like featuring, you know, trying to get back to it.
- 39:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but if you have a song that big, you should be able to live for the rest of your life.
- 39:37SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 39:37SPEAKER_03: Like, you see what I'm saying?
- 39:38SPEAKER_03: Like, I don't know if one hit one day.
- 39:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think it was something to do also too with management, too.
- 39:43SPEAKER_00: Like, I just think that maybe like the manager.
- 39:45SPEAKER_03: So we all blaming the black man.
- 39:48SPEAKER_03: We don't know what color is manager.
- 39:49SPEAKER_03: I can tell you what it was.
- 39:52SPEAKER_03: I'm not gonna get that.
- 39:55SPEAKER_03: It rhymes with Kanye.
- 39:59SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna let y'all do y'all math on that.
- 40:01SPEAKER_03: But um, yeah, we can keep it music because Trump is music this week.
- 40:04SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and he was in the Bronx.
- 40:06SPEAKER_03: He came out with a record.
- 40:07SPEAKER_03: Oh, even worse.
- 40:08SPEAKER_03: Um, so Trump had a rally in New York.
- 40:11SPEAKER_03: Trump was from New York, so he was in his his um his backyard.
- 40:15SPEAKER_03: Um, and he had a Trump rally in the Bronx.
- 40:19SPEAKER_03: He brought out two drill rappers.
- 40:22SPEAKER_03: And when y'all hear these names, I want y'all to like be able to, if y'all know these people, just like confirm if you know them.
- 40:28SPEAKER_03: Dev definitely does not.
- 40:29SPEAKER_03: You don't know.
- 40:31SPEAKER_03: I'm probably does.
- 40:33SPEAKER_03: Out the loop, in the loop.
- 40:34SPEAKER_03: I'm starting to understand the ballot.
- 40:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 40:37SPEAKER_03: You spoke about this.
- 40:38SPEAKER_03: J.
- 40:38SPEAKER_03: Cole, sexy red.
- 40:40SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 40:41SPEAKER_03: You don't even listen to J.
- 40:42SPEAKER_03: Cole, do you?
- 40:42SPEAKER_03: So it's like, um, Bruce Springsteen, sexy red.
- 40:46SPEAKER_03: Nigga, I know J.
- 40:47SPEAKER_03: Cole.
- 40:48SPEAKER_03: I don't believe you, but I'm um, yeah, so you can name him.
- 40:52SPEAKER_03: Uh, we got Chef G.
- 40:55SPEAKER_03: I know him.
- 40:56SPEAKER_03: Know of him.
- 40:57SPEAKER_03: Yeah?
- 40:58SPEAKER_03: What do you look like?
- 40:59SPEAKER_03: I don't know what he looks like.
- 41:00SPEAKER_03: I only know, I only know of him.
- 41:03SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah?
- 41:04SPEAKER_03: Okay, good, good, good.
- 41:05SPEAKER_03: And Sleepy Hollow.
- 41:07SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 41:08SPEAKER_03: You probably do if she introduced you to Chef G, because they're like a team.
- 41:11SPEAKER_03: The funniest thing about their names is them niggas look exactly like if you think of what a sleepy, a nigga named Sleepy Hollow would look like, that nigga look like a nigga named Sleepy Hollow.
- 41:21SPEAKER_03: If you think of what a nigga named Chef G look like, that nigga look like a nigga named Chef Holly.
- 41:26SPEAKER_04: When I think of Sleepy Hollow, I think of like a like a dread-headed dude with his eyes like coming down.
- 41:33SPEAKER_03: You just pretty much that's what the nigga looked like.
- 41:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 41:38SPEAKER_03: But yeah, Trump thought it was a good idea to have these guys at one of his rallies.
- 41:43SPEAKER_03: Well, like to like I personally thought it was a good idea because it was relatable to me.
- 41:51SPEAKER_03: But I'm also, I I don't exercise my right to vote all the time, depending on who's the candidates.
- 41:57SPEAKER_03: So it really didn't, I to me, I don't feel like it was the best political move for him because I also believe that you really shouldn't be having rappers up here telling me that I should vote for you.
- 42:09SPEAKER_03: I mean, I don't like I don't think that's the best thing to do.
- 42:11SPEAKER_00: I think he's trying to get to like the another group of people to like get more people to vote, especially like if you're adding those two rappers, you know.
- 42:18SPEAKER_00: I just think too, like it's bringing in that younger generation because once you turn 18, you can vote.
- 42:23SPEAKER_00: So they're like, all right, let me bring out these rappers, these young people will know them.
- 42:26SPEAKER_00: So then you don't know.
- 42:27SPEAKER_03: Then you'll get the Trump dance.
- 42:29SPEAKER_03: They asked the as a fire dance.
- 42:31SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you don't want to read it.
- 42:37SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's teaching you how to vote.
- 42:40SPEAKER_04: Who the fuck taught that old white nigga that's not moving?
- 42:45SPEAKER_04: Hold on.
- 42:45SPEAKER_04: They got a video of this?
- 42:46SPEAKER_04: Yes.
- 42:47SPEAKER_04: Oh gosh, man.
- 42:48SPEAKER_04: Trump was up there.
- 42:49SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 42:50SPEAKER_04: Come on, I you can't not vote for him now.
- 42:52SPEAKER_04: Like, come on.
- 42:53SPEAKER_03: I ain't gonna lie.
- 42:54SPEAKER_03: The only reason why we vote for him now is just because, like America.
- 42:58SPEAKER_03: The shit is like shit is tough out here, bro.
- 43:01SPEAKER_03: Financially.
- 43:02SPEAKER_03: And I just feel like Trump is on that, like, the more money y'all make, the more money y'all spend.
- 43:07SPEAKER_03: That's what I like.
- 43:08SPEAKER_03: I'm about to get my shit off.
- 43:09SPEAKER_03: Can I get my shit off?
- 43:10SPEAKER_03: What you got to say?
- 43:11SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna put my Plymouth rock hat on.
- 43:13SPEAKER_03: And you guys are on the podcast normally.
- 43:15SPEAKER_03: So when I put this imaginary hat on, we're supposed to get the hat made.
- 43:19SPEAKER_03: It's like when I turn into a black activist.
- 43:21SPEAKER_03: Like, that's not like once I put that hat on, I'm black pal, y'all.
- 43:26SPEAKER_03: I'm black, y'all.
- 43:27SPEAKER_03: Black, black, and black, just like that.
- 43:29SPEAKER_03: That's how I feel when I put this imaginary hat on.
- 43:32SPEAKER_03: So my issue with this, and I've been like arguing with Toon about this for like at least what two, three years now, is every time a candidate, it doesn't matter Republican or Democrat, wants the black vote, they go to rappers and entertainers.
- 43:47SPEAKER_03: And I think that is so disrespectful.
- 43:49SPEAKER_03: Like we are like reduced to these characters.
- 43:52SPEAKER_04: No disrespect to those black.
- 43:54SPEAKER_04: No, no, no, no, no.
- 43:54SPEAKER_04: But I'm I you gotta you gotta give me some names.
- 43:57SPEAKER_03: What are you talking about?
- 43:58SPEAKER_04: You gotta give me you gotta give me some presidents and Some rappers.
- 44:00SPEAKER_03: Uh Cardi B, Hillary Clinton.
- 44:02SPEAKER_03: Barack Obama, Jay Z and Beyonce.
- 44:04SPEAKER_03: Taylor Swift.
- 44:05SPEAKER_03: No, but nobody asked me.
- 44:06SPEAKER_03: Taylor Swift.
- 44:06SPEAKER_00: No one cares about that.
- 44:07SPEAKER_03: Nobody asked about it.
- 44:10SPEAKER_03: I'm not done.
- 44:11SPEAKER_03: Joe Biden, Cardi B.
- 44:13SPEAKER_03: Taylor Swift.
- 44:15SPEAKER_03: The Breakfast Club, Hillary Clinton.
- 44:18SPEAKER_03: My thing is, why do you keep overlooking Taylor Swift, bro?
- 44:20SPEAKER_03: Because nobody asked.
- 44:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we asked the rap as well.
- 44:23SPEAKER_03: I get your point though.
- 44:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah, exactly.
- 44:25SPEAKER_03: It's not, you haven't seen her at a rally?
- 44:28SPEAKER_03: She's too much worth too much money.
- 44:30SPEAKER_03: Little pop.
- 44:31SPEAKER_03: There's no way that you're gonna spend your your dollars to run your campaign and get Taylor Swift.
- 44:36SPEAKER_03: Because how much would that cost?
- 44:37SPEAKER_03: A lot of money, but it'll be worth it.
- 44:39SPEAKER_03: Because Taylor Swift, like, her albums is doing like 90s hip hop album number.
- 44:43SPEAKER_03: She's doing fucking two million dollars.
- 44:44SPEAKER_03: Well, my thing, as long as you could just put the endorsement on her.
- 44:48SPEAKER_03: Get the fuck out of here.
- 44:49SPEAKER_03: That's exactly what happened.
- 44:50SPEAKER_03: I ask Tuna all the time, like, yo, who's Tom Hanks voting for?
- 44:54SPEAKER_03: Nobody knows.
- 44:55SPEAKER_03: Because white, it don't matter.
- 44:56SPEAKER_03: That's that's my point.
- 44:57SPEAKER_03: It's like, I like but we know who Taylor Swift is.
- 45:00SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but that's one white person.
- 45:01SPEAKER_03: That's me.
- 45:02SPEAKER_03: We don't know who she's voting for.
- 45:05SPEAKER_03: She's like the most influential white person on the planet.
- 45:08SPEAKER_03: I don't think there's any influential white people on the planet.
- 45:11SPEAKER_03: Honestly.
- 45:13SPEAKER_03: Number one, bro.
- 45:14SPEAKER_03: That's number one.
- 45:15SPEAKER_03: What is your second in Donald Trump?
- 45:17SPEAKER_02: As long as you did the football come on.
- 45:19SPEAKER_02: That's great.
- 45:19SPEAKER_03: How you bigger than football?
- 45:20SPEAKER_03: But again, hey, again, I I hear your point, but she's not like changing the voting.
- 45:26SPEAKER_03: Like I said, I hear all this, but you don't see her at no fucking rally.
- 45:34SPEAKER_03: Little Pump was at a Trump rally.
- 45:35SPEAKER_03: That's what I'm just thinking is the booking fee.
- 45:39SPEAKER_03: How are you gonna book Little?
- 45:42SPEAKER_03: Nah, you got a point.
- 45:44SPEAKER_03: You got a point.
- 45:46SPEAKER_03: That's all I'm saying.
- 45:47SPEAKER_03: This shit is disrespectful.
- 45:48SPEAKER_03: Malcolm X spoke about this shit fucking 100 years ago.
- 45:50SPEAKER_03: Every time they want niggas to vote, they put some niggas in front, like, hey.
- 45:54SPEAKER_04: Nah, I I think it's I think it's I think to speak on what you said, like with Taylor Swift, if she was to go up on stage or whatever and be like, yo, vote for that, it's like, nah, we just here for your music, all right?
- 46:06SPEAKER_04: We just love you and your music or whatever.
- 46:08SPEAKER_03: Because white people aren't looking to her to who they should vote for.
- 46:11SPEAKER_04: Exactly.
- 46:11SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 46:12SPEAKER_04: But unfortunately, black people are looking for looking to Beyonce and Jason.
- 46:18SPEAKER_04: And I think that is fucking disrespectful.
- 46:20SPEAKER_04: But that's what I'm that's what I'm saying.
- 46:22SPEAKER_04: I feel like that's more so on the culture than it is.
- 46:24SPEAKER_04: Thank you.
- 46:25SPEAKER_04: I think that's more so on the culture than it is.
- 46:27SPEAKER_04: Exactly.
- 46:27SPEAKER_03: Speaking, speaking.
- 46:29SPEAKER_03: Sorry.
- 46:29SPEAKER_03: But um I think Kev is on the case.
- 46:31SPEAKER_03: Can I hear that?
- 46:32SPEAKER_03: Can I hear that point though?
- 46:32SPEAKER_03: Because I don't, I don't know if I agree or not.
- 46:34SPEAKER_04: I think you can continue.
- 46:36SPEAKER_04: I I think it's just more so like black people, we don't know really who to trust.
- 46:42SPEAKER_04: I'm nah, I'm not.
- 46:43SPEAKER_04: Forget that.
- 46:44SPEAKER_03: I like that beginning.
- 46:45SPEAKER_03: You can buy statement.
- 46:47SPEAKER_04: But it's just more so like, yo, you know, I fuck with Jay-Z, I fuck with Beyonce.
- 46:52SPEAKER_04: They saying vote for this.
- 46:53SPEAKER_04: This is good.
- 46:54SPEAKER_04: I we're gonna do this.
- 46:55SPEAKER_03: Them niggas make music.
- 46:57SPEAKER_03: Why the stuff is that they're not gonna be able to do that?
- 46:58SPEAKER_03: They also have to live.
- 46:59SPEAKER_03: They also have to live.
- 47:00SPEAKER_03: Why the fuck?
- 47:01SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they're billionaires because of music, not business acumen necessarily.
- 47:05SPEAKER_03: Uh Jay-Z to an extent, but the only reason these people are household names is because of things that are entertainment.
- 47:11SPEAKER_03: They're not changing laws that are specifically gonna help.
- 47:15SPEAKER_03: I agree.
- 47:16SPEAKER_03: I agree.
- 47:17SPEAKER_04: I think that is disrespectful.
- 47:19SPEAKER_04: I agree, but it's just more so like people aren't going to Taylor Swift for advice.
- 47:24SPEAKER_04: They're not seeing his financial.
- 47:28SPEAKER_03: You would consider those people smart that they're not looking to Taylor Swift for that advice.
- 47:31SPEAKER_04: No, I would consider those like, you know, what is it?
- 47:34SPEAKER_04: What are they?
- 47:35SPEAKER_04: Teenagers and kids that or whoever listens to Taylor Swift, like the major of the demographic or whatever.
- 47:41SPEAKER_04: I don't know who the major demographic is, but everyone that listens to Taylor Swift, they're just there for the music and they love Taylor Swift.
- 47:48SPEAKER_03: So you would say that's a smart person?
- 47:50SPEAKER_03: That you just hey, I know that all the time.
- 47:52SPEAKER_03: I wouldn't call them, I wouldn't call them smart, and I also wouldn't call them dumb.
- 47:55SPEAKER_03: So do you okay, perfect.
- 47:56SPEAKER_03: Do you think it's a dumb for a person to go to a musician for their political advice?
- 48:00SPEAKER_04: I don't think it's wise to do that.
- 48:02SPEAKER_04: No, I wouldn't.
- 48:03SPEAKER_04: I wouldn't do it.
- 48:05SPEAKER_04: Nah, yeah, but people, that's what I'm saying.
- 48:07SPEAKER_04: People will do it.
- 48:09SPEAKER_04: He's not going to do anything.
- 48:11SPEAKER_04: But people, but this is what I'm saying.
- 48:12SPEAKER_04: People wouldn't do it.
- 48:15SPEAKER_04: I don't know what type of people.
- 48:16SPEAKER_04: I wouldn't do it, but people would do it.
- 48:18SPEAKER_04: Okay, all right, cool.
- 48:19SPEAKER_04: But you you you can't you can't sit, you can't sit here and say that like there aren't people that wouldn't follow, you know, oh, you know, this person is successful, they doing this and they're saying, like, yo, I'm pretty sure there are people out there that would follow Taylor Swift.
- 48:36SPEAKER_04: I agree, you know, for voting.
- 48:38SPEAKER_04: But I agree.
- 48:38SPEAKER_04: But we could all sit here and agree and be like, not a lot of people are going over there for Taylor Swift, you know, political views.
- 48:45SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I know.
- 48:46SPEAKER_04: They did for the music.
- 48:47SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 48:47SPEAKER_04: But a person like Jay-Z, you know, with status or whatever, it's like, oh, Jay-Z saying, yo, this is good.
- 48:55SPEAKER_04: All right, I'm gonna follow Jay-Z.
- 48:57SPEAKER_04: I think that's fucking stupid.
- 48:59SPEAKER_03: Hey, man, that's just I think also to go like piggyback of what Kev said earlier, it's like the it's on the culture.
- 49:05SPEAKER_03: Like our culture or hip-hop culture, if you're part of it, is really no line between what isn't in the culture.
- 49:12SPEAKER_03: Like, if you listen to the music, you most likely dress a certain way.
- 49:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 49:16SPEAKER_03: You probably carry yourself a certain way, which isn't good or bad, because there's like there's multiple artists that you can listen to that introduces you to the culture.
- 49:23SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 49:24SPEAKER_03: So it's like if I listen to uh J.
- 49:26SPEAKER_03: Cole or Jay-Z or Sexy Red, I'm like embodying this whole culture.
- 49:32SPEAKER_03: So if I'm listening to them, like their values probably mean something to me.
- 49:37SPEAKER_03: As far as I think what Kev is saying with the Taylor Swift, I don't think uh she's part of pop, you would say, obviously.
- 49:45SPEAKER_03: Pop, like, when you listen to pop, you don't necessarily like dress like your favorite artist.
- 49:50SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 49:50SPEAKER_03: I I'm not, I don't think I miss our pop.
- 49:52SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so I think it's just more like a like Kev says, it's like a music thing.
- 49:56SPEAKER_03: Like, I love Taylor Swift's music.
- 49:59SPEAKER_03: And that's all I view her as.
- 50:00SPEAKER_03: When I listen to Jay-Z, I actually view him as a fashion icon, or you know, Chris Brown.
- 50:05SPEAKER_03: I view him as a I don't know what else you view him as, but all of that is fine.
- 50:10SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but that's why I that's all I think it is.
- 50:12SPEAKER_03: I think it's not a black or white thing.
- 50:14SPEAKER_03: That's why I also think when you say they do it, just have niggas vote.
- 50:18SPEAKER_03: I do think that's majority of the reason.
- 50:20SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 50:21SPEAKER_03: But is Cardi B's fans aren't just black?
- 50:24SPEAKER_03: I know.
- 50:24SPEAKER_03: And I'm jacking that's the same reason why fucking Pepsi had her in the Super Bowl commercials, because like there's people out there that's gonna listen.
- 50:34SPEAKER_03: That's what I'm just saying.
- 50:35SPEAKER_04: I'm just saying.
- 50:36SPEAKER_04: Even even to speak on that, you think if Cardi B say, yo, vote for this person, you're gonna listen to Cardi B?
- 50:42SPEAKER_04: No, me?
- 50:42SPEAKER_04: I'm not.
- 50:43SPEAKER_04: You think people are gonna listen to Cardi B?
- 50:44SPEAKER_03: No, no, but this is the disrespectful part.
- 50:46SPEAKER_03: They think niggas are.
- 50:47SPEAKER_03: Nah.
- 50:48SPEAKER_03: And niggas historically have.
- 50:49SPEAKER_03: I think it's the actually, what if I just think it's just to get attention?
- 50:52SPEAKER_03: Because you know that the shade room was gonna pick up Cardi B and Dorsey.
- 50:57SPEAKER_03: Well, why the fuck you care about the shade room?
- 51:00SPEAKER_03: I'm just saying.
- 51:00SPEAKER_03: Because I want the black eyeballs, I'm gonna go hit up Cardi B.
- 51:03SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna hit up Chef B.
- 51:04SPEAKER_03: I want I want people watching.
- 51:06SPEAKER_03: Nah, listen.
- 51:06SPEAKER_03: Chef G shit is 100% to your point.
- 51:09SPEAKER_03: Because Chef G, don't get me wrong, I listen to Chef G, but that's not hitting a massive.
- 51:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 51:15SPEAKER_03: But being that he had this rally in the Bronx, he probably wasn't aiming for the whole demographic, like the whole country.
- 51:22SPEAKER_03: He probably just wanted New York to be like, okay, he got Chef G up there.
- 51:26SPEAKER_04: I'ma I'ma probably pay attention.
- 51:29SPEAKER_04: To even speak on your point, like you said, it's just to get eyeballs on you.
- 51:33SPEAKER_04: No, I didn't you just said that.
- 51:36SPEAKER_04: No, I said specifically black people.
- 51:38SPEAKER_04: All right, fine.
- 51:38SPEAKER_04: Whether it's specifically black people, but that's my issue.
- 51:42SPEAKER_04: But if you're a politician, yeah, I just you you selling yourself to the country.
- 51:47SPEAKER_04: Yeah, of course.
- 51:48SPEAKER_04: All right.
- 51:48SPEAKER_03: When they're selling themselves to white America, they're telling them about policy.
- 51:51SPEAKER_03: Like, fuck Chef G, fuck Taylor Swift.
- 51:54SPEAKER_03: I see, I see what you're saying.
- 51:55SPEAKER_03: Trump said I'm gonna bring back oil jobs and coal mines.
- 51:58SPEAKER_03: But he probably said that uh I didn't watch the whole rally.
- 52:01SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but he probably said, and you know it's probably gonna get me to watch the whole rally.
- 52:05SPEAKER_03: Oh shit.
- 52:05SPEAKER_03: Chef G.
- 52:06SPEAKER_03: Chef G.
- 52:08SPEAKER_03: But that's me, that's the eyes.
- 52:10SPEAKER_03: Because honestly, don't get me wrong.
- 52:12SPEAKER_03: The fact that somebody in his team knew who Chef G and sleep was amazing.
- 52:16SPEAKER_03: It's a little bit like, oh shit, like on the ball, and that's all I'm saying.
- 52:20SPEAKER_03: And I think that mission complete by them putting it.
- 52:23SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 52:23SPEAKER_03: And that mission.
- 52:24SPEAKER_03: But they also would have completed the same thing if Taylor Swift was up.
- 52:26SPEAKER_03: They go, oh my, hold on.
- 52:28SPEAKER_03: It would have made the shade room too, bro.
- 52:31SPEAKER_04: They're not looking for the shade room, nigga.
- 52:33SPEAKER_04: But but like said, like said, would you have watched it if they weren't up there?
- 52:37SPEAKER_04: Who me?
- 52:38SPEAKER_04: I didn't watch it at all.
- 52:39SPEAKER_04: No, but that's what I'm saying.
- 52:40SPEAKER_04: Would you, would you, would you have watched the rally otherwise if they wasn't there?
- 52:45SPEAKER_03: If Trump got on that stage and was like, yo, I'm trying to speak to y'all.
- 52:48SPEAKER_03: I'm thinking about getting black folk reparation.
- 52:51SPEAKER_03: I would have paid attention.
- 52:52SPEAKER_03: Of course.
- 52:53SPEAKER_03: Well, that's that's that's that's gonna hit your ear, yeah.
- 52:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but that's my point.
- 52:57SPEAKER_03: Why don't they speak policy with niggas?
- 52:59SPEAKER_03: Why they just put other niggas?
- 53:00SPEAKER_03: That's not what he's offering.
- 53:03SPEAKER_03: So that's not what he's offering.
- 53:05SPEAKER_03: Speaking into my point, he's not offering niggas policy, he's offering niggas other niggas.
- 53:09SPEAKER_03: Like that, that's what that's what you're doing.
- 53:10SPEAKER_03: No, no, no.
- 53:12SPEAKER_03: Oh shit.
- 53:13SPEAKER_03: He offering reparations up there.
- 53:16SPEAKER_03: Maybe now I'm gonna pay attention.
- 53:17SPEAKER_03: All he's up there saying to you is, hey, there's black folk over here too.
- 53:21SPEAKER_03: You should vote for me.
- 53:21SPEAKER_03: But this is why should I vote for you?
- 53:24SPEAKER_03: Biden Biden said that literally out of his mouth, and you didn't have no problem with that.
- 53:27SPEAKER_03: I did.
- 53:28SPEAKER_03: I absolutely did.
- 53:29SPEAKER_03: Who was Biden talking to?
- 53:31SPEAKER_03: He was talking to Breakfast Club.
- 53:32SPEAKER_03: Why?
- 53:32SPEAKER_03: That's a national syndicated club.
- 53:35SPEAKER_03: That's a national.
- 53:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's wild.
- 53:37SPEAKER_03: Why he was there?
- 53:38SPEAKER_03: Why he wasn't on Howard Stern?
- 53:40SPEAKER_03: Because fucking, first of all, the Breakfast Club is nationally syndicated show, bro.
- 53:46SPEAKER_03: That shit is on like 130 networks and all that shit.
- 53:49SPEAKER_03: Stern, bro, is the biggest thing in radio.
- 53:51SPEAKER_03: And you gotta pay to hear that nigga.
- 53:53SPEAKER_03: What's the what's the biggest demographic that's voting?
- 53:55SPEAKER_03: Uh we probably don't know how to talk about our head.
- 53:57SPEAKER_03: But it's probably not like Howard Stern's audience.
- 54:01SPEAKER_03: Probably the Breakfast Club's audience.
- 54:04SPEAKER_03: Come on, man.
- 54:05SPEAKER_03: I do have a question though.
- 54:06SPEAKER_03: Please.
- 54:06SPEAKER_03: So save me.
- 54:08SPEAKER_00: No, you're saying, like, you know, you don't want these rappers here.
- 54:10SPEAKER_00: So who would you rather want there if you were to choose?
- 54:14SPEAKER_03: Um, so I think that's a great question.
- 54:16SPEAKER_03: Off the top of my head, I would choose like Cornell West, but he's also running.
- 54:20SPEAKER_03: He's running.
- 54:20SPEAKER_03: So he wouldn't be at a Trump rally.
- 54:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 54:22SPEAKER_03: Like, let's say he wasn't running, but like people like that.
- 54:24SPEAKER_03: Like, like other, like, I would rather have Mayor Adams up there with him.
- 54:28SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 54:28SPEAKER_03: Just to be like, hey, I'ma speak to your mayor.
- 54:30SPEAKER_03: Whether he was fucking black, white, or Chinese.
- 54:32SPEAKER_03: It's just the fact that, hey, if I want the black vote, I want to hear policy.
- 54:36SPEAKER_03: Like, I get we're in the social media era.
- 54:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 54:39SPEAKER_03: He could have done both things.
- 54:40SPEAKER_03: He could have had Chef G on there and then been like, you see, black people, the policies I'm gonna come out with.
- 54:45SPEAKER_03: People like Chef G wouldn't be getting arrested for dumb shit.
- 54:48SPEAKER_03: That's that's policy.
- 54:50SPEAKER_03: But you don't know what's gonna be.
- 54:51SPEAKER_03: I don't know what I don't know what he's doing.
- 54:53SPEAKER_03: That's all I'm saying.
- 54:53SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 54:54SPEAKER_03: He could have been very good on it.
- 54:55SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's a good thing.
- 54:56SPEAKER_03: That's same with the duck show.
- 54:57SPEAKER_03: He could have done that.
- 54:58SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 54:58SPEAKER_03: But I didn't hear nobody reporting that.
- 55:00SPEAKER_03: Of course not.
- 55:01SPEAKER_03: Because Chef G was there, man.
- 55:04SPEAKER_03: You don't even know what they're thinking, man.
- 55:06SPEAKER_03: You're right.
- 55:06SPEAKER_03: Chef G saw some up.
- 55:09SPEAKER_03: But um, yeah, outside of the the the funny optics, the it's cool, like, you know, Trump was in the Bronx, he's a New Yorker.
- 55:15SPEAKER_03: Um, I I just it's just it always is just gonna rub me the wrong way.
- 55:19SPEAKER_03: And it's just because like my my dad radicalized this young man.
- 55:22SPEAKER_03: He gave me Malcolm X biography, and ever since then I was like, this coon shit gotta stop.
- 55:27SPEAKER_03: And that's cool shit.
- 55:28SPEAKER_03: Not not Chef G and them.
- 55:30SPEAKER_03: Like, I wouldn't tell Chef G to turn that opportunity down.
- 55:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no.
- 55:32SPEAKER_03: Because, you know, at the end of the day, he gotta feed a feed a family.
- 55:35SPEAKER_03: But it's also like as black folk, we gotta just like wake up, man.
- 55:38SPEAKER_03: Now I do think you have a point.
- 55:39SPEAKER_03: Even though even though I disagree, no, I don't fully disagree.
- 55:42SPEAKER_03: No, no, of course not.
- 55:43SPEAKER_03: I think both has great rights.
- 55:44SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I think both of them.
- 55:45SPEAKER_03: He has great points.
- 55:46SPEAKER_03: So yeah, shout out.
- 55:47SPEAKER_03: I guess shout out.
- 55:48SPEAKER_03: Are you guys gonna vote?
- 55:50SPEAKER_03: I think this year I'm definitely gonna vote.
- 55:51SPEAKER_03: I ain't gonna lie.
- 55:52SPEAKER_03: Sit sitting back and probably Trump.
- 55:54SPEAKER_03: I ain't even gonna lie to you.
- 55:56SPEAKER_03: As long as I say I gotta start paying attention a little bit more.
- 55:58SPEAKER_03: But if he's talking more money because I feel like that's where I'm losing out right now.
- 56:05SPEAKER_03: Taxes I got this year was terrible.
- 56:07SPEAKER_03: Fucked up.
- 56:07SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 56:10SPEAKER_03: Um I want to talk about more black people and the rest of the cellar.
- 56:13SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 56:14SPEAKER_04: No problem.
- 56:14SPEAKER_03: Um, Nicki Minaj's time.
- 56:16SPEAKER_03: It's her turn.
- 56:17SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
- 56:18SPEAKER_03: The queen of rap.
- 56:19SPEAKER_03: What?
- 56:19SPEAKER_03: Oh, she was the queen?
- 56:21SPEAKER_03: Excuse me?
- 56:21SPEAKER_03: She was the queen?
- 56:22SPEAKER_03: She is the queen.
- 56:23SPEAKER_03: She is the queen.
- 56:24SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 56:24SPEAKER_03: I know you out the room.
- 56:25SPEAKER_03: Who you got?
- 56:25SPEAKER_03: Who you got over?
- 56:26SPEAKER_03: I know you out the loop, but I want to hear this.
- 56:28SPEAKER_03: Ask him that question to him.
- 56:29SPEAKER_03: Who you got over Nikki as the queen?
- 56:32SPEAKER_04: Queen of rap?
- 56:34SPEAKER_04: Honestly.
- 56:37SPEAKER_04: I'll give it to Cardi.
- 56:39SPEAKER_03: This nigga out of his head.
- 56:42SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 56:45SPEAKER_03: I I don't see the argument.
- 56:46SPEAKER_03: How many albums Cardi B got?
- 56:48SPEAKER_04: How many she got?
- 56:48SPEAKER_04: Yo, I'm not a Cardi B fan, but I don't think, I don't think, I don't think Nicki Minaj is like the queen of rap.
- 56:54SPEAKER_04: I feel like there's so many other better rappers than Nicki Minaj.
- 56:59SPEAKER_04: Personally.
- 56:59SPEAKER_04: Personally.
- 57:00SPEAKER_00: I will say though, Nicki Minaj has like brought out more women to become rappers.
- 57:05SPEAKER_00: She has, and she's a legend in that.
- 57:08SPEAKER_00: She really brought hip hop to be that way.
- 57:11SPEAKER_00: And now there are now rappers that are doing other things.
- 57:14SPEAKER_00: So I I'll give Nikki that she definitely has paved the way for other rappers to become a big thing.
- 57:18SPEAKER_04: Oh, you don't like Nicki either.
- 57:20SPEAKER_04: But it's not that I don't like Nikki, but like, come on, you can't say, you can't sit here and say that there was before Nikki, there wasn't female rappers.
- 57:33SPEAKER_03: There was only one at a time.
- 57:34unknown: Who?
- 57:35SPEAKER_03: Little Kim.
- 57:36SPEAKER_00: Queen Latifah.
- 57:37SPEAKER_00: She didn't know something.
- 57:38SPEAKER_00: She tried to.
- 57:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they all get like they all get like their time to shine.
- 57:43SPEAKER_03: During Nikki's era, everybody can shine.
- 57:44SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's true.
- 57:45SPEAKER_03: And they would like to paint Nikki the opposite way.
- 57:47SPEAKER_03: Like, she don't help these girls out.
- 57:48SPEAKER_03: That's bullshit, bro.
- 57:49SPEAKER_03: No, I'm not saying that she didn't have her time to shine.
- 57:51SPEAKER_03: No, she's shine.
- 57:52SPEAKER_03: She's shining, and all the other women are shining as well.
- 57:55SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 57:55SPEAKER_03: That no, you can't say that that ever happened before.
- 57:58SPEAKER_03: No, I'm not, I'm not saying she she had her time, but then after.
- 58:01SPEAKER_03: Her time is still going.
- 58:02SPEAKER_03: That's what I'm saying.
- 58:02SPEAKER_03: Her time is still going.
- 58:03SPEAKER_03: That's what I'm saying.
- 58:04SPEAKER_00: She's a good entertainer too.
- 58:05SPEAKER_00: Like if she, yeah, she she's good.
- 58:07SPEAKER_03: And none of these bitches can outrap her either.
- 58:08SPEAKER_03: I don't even know what you talk about, honestly.
- 58:10SPEAKER_03: Really?
- 58:11SPEAKER_03: No, no, no.
- 58:12SPEAKER_03: Name.
- 58:14SPEAKER_04: What's the last song you heard from Nikki?
- 58:16SPEAKER_04: I don't listen to her.
- 58:17SPEAKER_04: I don't listen to her music like that.
- 58:18SPEAKER_04: She don't make music for me.
- 58:19SPEAKER_04: Wait, hold on.
- 58:19SPEAKER_04: But how are you saying that she the queen?
- 58:21SPEAKER_04: Because when she she raps, she rap.
- 58:24SPEAKER_04: All right, well, give give me something.
- 58:27SPEAKER_04: Like, nigga, I don't listen to her music like that.
- 58:29SPEAKER_03: So how can you make the Because whenever I hear her music, super bass.
- 58:33SPEAKER_03: She's rapping.
- 58:33SPEAKER_03: That's don't do that.
- 58:34SPEAKER_03: He's being disrespectful.
- 58:35SPEAKER_03: That's that's yeah, that was a rap.
- 58:40SPEAKER_03: It's not, it's not more than the song.
- 58:41SPEAKER_03: But even still, it's like that's not even a rap song.
- 58:43SPEAKER_03: That's a rap song.
- 58:45SPEAKER_03: You gotta listen to the lyric.
- 58:46SPEAKER_03: Yeah, there's no verses on it.
- 58:47SPEAKER_03: Nah, she got she got verses.
- 58:49SPEAKER_04: She got verses on it.
- 58:50SPEAKER_04: She's singing.
- 58:50SPEAKER_04: She is she doing both.
- 58:51SPEAKER_04: I'm not about to do this.
- 58:52SPEAKER_03: Bro, Nikki classic.
- 58:55SPEAKER_03: You want to say she's doing both.
- 58:58SPEAKER_03: That's a classic rap song.
- 58:59SPEAKER_03: Nah, y'all niggas is crazy.
- 59:01SPEAKER_03: In the grammar.
- 59:02SPEAKER_04: So give me, so give me a rap song.
- 59:04SPEAKER_04: Give me a rap song.
- 59:05SPEAKER_05: You know?
- 59:07SPEAKER_03: Super bass.
- 59:08SPEAKER_03: Like whatever.
- 59:10SPEAKER_03: Y'all can have that.
- 59:11SPEAKER_03: Move on.
- 59:11SPEAKER_03: Nikki's a queen.
- 59:12SPEAKER_03: But yeah, she got arrested in Amsterdam.
- 59:15SPEAKER_03: Oh.
- 59:16SPEAKER_03: And it was like she was it was pretty like that.
- 59:19SPEAKER_03: And I don't know about y'all, but getting arrested in a foreign country is terrifying.
- 59:23SPEAKER_00: Oh, hell yeah.
- 59:24SPEAKER_03: Like, I would rather get arrested like anywhere in America than getting arrested.
- 59:28SPEAKER_03: Getting arrested in a foreign country.
- 59:30SPEAKER_03: I don't want to get arrested in Mississippi.
- 59:32SPEAKER_03: Listen, I speak the language there.
- 59:34SPEAKER_03: So when they're coming to kill me, I know they're coming to kill me.
- 59:37SPEAKER_03: Amsterdam, they talk about a whole bunch of boppity-boobity shit.
- 59:40SPEAKER_03: You don't even know what's happening, nigga.
- 59:42SPEAKER_03: And then she got arrested for weed?
- 59:43SPEAKER_03: I don't know what she got.
- 59:44SPEAKER_03: I could have sworn like weed was legal, yeah.
- 59:46SPEAKER_03: Right?
- 59:47SPEAKER_03: No, I think too much of it.
- 59:48SPEAKER_03: I think they got one area where it's legal.
- 59:50SPEAKER_03: Oh.
- 59:50SPEAKER_03: I don't think it's the whole fucking country.
- 59:52SPEAKER_03: Uh Amsterdam not even a country, is it?
- 59:54SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 59:55SPEAKER_03: I don't think it's a site.
- 59:57SPEAKER_03: Like that's a what?
- 59:58SPEAKER_03: A site.
- 59:59SPEAKER_03: It's a place.
- 59:59SPEAKER_03: They have a red light district where it's like prostitution, weave and all that shit.
- 1:00:03SPEAKER_03: But she pro you you probably can't travel.
- 1:00:05SPEAKER_03: I think that's a good thing.
- 1:00:06SPEAKER_03: Yeah, probably that's probably what it is.
- 1:00:07SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:00:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah, there's a lot of people that got arrested for it too.
- 1:00:10SPEAKER_00: Like on the news, they had like a like a dab pen, or like not even the dab itself, but just the just the pen.
- 1:00:14SPEAKER_03: Just the oil paraphernalia.
- 1:00:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and people have gotten arrested for that in other countries.
- 1:00:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no.
- 1:00:19SPEAKER_00: I think the basketball player, a woman about to play.
- 1:00:23SPEAKER_03: She got locked up in Russia.
- 1:00:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah, right.
- 1:00:24SPEAKER_03: We traded the fucking angel of death for her badge, right?
- 1:00:28SPEAKER_03: America's fucking crazy.
- 1:00:30SPEAKER_03: But if we're gonna go, we gotta get our people.
- 1:00:32SPEAKER_03: Oh war.
- 1:00:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:00:33SPEAKER_03: All our war.
- 1:00:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but like Nikki, man, I think she's too big of an icon to be letting that happen.
- 1:00:42SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I don't I don't like they said it was a security that had it or something today, but I mean that would have been the story.
- 1:00:47SPEAKER_03: Yeah, why didn't security just raise the channel hate that monster?
- 1:00:49SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:00:50SPEAKER_03: Arrest me instead of the goat, you know.
- 1:00:52SPEAKER_04: That's pretty.
- 1:00:54SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's messed up.
- 1:00:55SPEAKER_04: I don't know why they do that.
- 1:00:56SPEAKER_04: It'll probably just bring her back.
- 1:00:57SPEAKER_04: That's that's twice on this club.
- 1:00:58SPEAKER_03: Oh, now she's free.
- 1:00:59SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no, she's gonna spank it.
- 1:01:01SPEAKER_03: Why are they arresting her in the first place?
- 1:01:03SPEAKER_03: That's my problem.
- 1:01:03SPEAKER_03: That's twice on this card.
- 1:01:04SPEAKER_03: You can't have weed, bruh.
- 1:01:06SPEAKER_03: If she didn't have weed.
- 1:01:08SPEAKER_03: That's what I could have sworn on her in the club.
- 1:01:11SPEAKER_03: Even if she did, it's Nicky McDonald.
- 1:01:14SPEAKER_03: I get it.
- 1:01:15SPEAKER_03: Black people are supposed to not follow the rules.
- 1:01:19SPEAKER_03: I ain't say that.
- 1:01:20SPEAKER_03: I said it's a little bit too convenient.
- 1:01:22SPEAKER_03: Every time I turn on my social media, it's a black person getting arrested on some dumb shit.
- 1:01:28SPEAKER_03: All right, no problem.
- 1:01:30SPEAKER_03: So Taylor Swift don't smoke weed.
- 1:01:32SPEAKER_03: Bro, I don't wonder why.
- 1:01:35SPEAKER_03: I wonder why you don't know.
- 1:01:36SPEAKER_03: That's bullshit.
- 1:01:37SPEAKER_03: Y'all letting them get away with it.
- 1:01:40SPEAKER_03: Crackers.
- 1:01:41SPEAKER_03: Shout out to Soulja Boy.
- 1:01:43SPEAKER_03: That's a wild boy.
- 1:01:44SPEAKER_03: Yeah, Soulja is definitely crazy.
- 1:01:46SPEAKER_03: He had to apologize.
- 1:01:51SPEAKER_04: What happened?
- 1:01:52SPEAKER_03: So he I didn't even want to repeat what he was saying, but it was Mother's Day.
- 1:01:55SPEAKER_03: And he was beefing with funny enough, BBL Drizzy Man, Metro Boomin.
- 1:01:59SPEAKER_03: And I think Metro's mom has had passed away.
- 1:02:02SPEAKER_03: And uh Soldier Boy like was like disrespecting that mom.
- 1:02:06SPEAKER_03: Oh and the industry wasn't happy about that.
- 1:02:09SPEAKER_03: 21 Sad was got involved.
- 1:02:10SPEAKER_03: You know, Metro's his man.
- 1:02:12SPEAKER_03: And something something's just in the like the air right now.
- 1:02:14SPEAKER_03: Like everybody's just beefing.
- 1:02:16SPEAKER_03: It's the is the popular thing to do.
- 1:02:18SPEAKER_03: Well, sell some records.
- 1:02:20SPEAKER_04: Nah, I don't even think you would do it like that though.
- 1:02:23SPEAKER_04: Like just to be surprised though.
- 1:02:24SPEAKER_00: Just how many views you get.
- 1:02:26SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 1:02:27SPEAKER_04: You know what I'm saying?
- 1:02:28SPEAKER_04: Like no, and no, that's even even with the views, it's not gonna put you in a good light.
- 1:02:32SPEAKER_04: After you get those views, you ain't going anywhere after that.
- 1:02:35SPEAKER_04: Yeah, but you get money.
- 1:02:36SPEAKER_04: Exactly.
- 1:02:37SPEAKER_03: Spoken about that's not how that works.
- 1:02:39SPEAKER_03: You don't think so?
- 1:02:40SPEAKER_03: Nah.
- 1:02:40SPEAKER_03: So what do you think people clout chase for?
- 1:02:43SPEAKER_03: Just just for us to talk about them?
- 1:02:44SPEAKER_03: You think it's no financial gain?
- 1:02:47SPEAKER_04: Nah, I'm not saying I'm not saying that there's not financial gain, but it's like there's there's a there's a good way and a bad way.
- 1:02:56SPEAKER_04: There's some things that are in good taste and some things that's just in bad taste, right?
- 1:03:00SPEAKER_04: And when you do things in bad taste, it just it it messes you up.
- 1:03:05SPEAKER_04: It messes up, it messes everything up, you know?
- 1:03:09SPEAKER_04: Like in in the sense of this whole soldier boy thing, man, like that like I said, that's just disrespectful.
- 1:03:16SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you know, but that's hip-hop, and like it is hip-hop, hip-hop is disrespectful.
- 1:03:20SPEAKER_04: Like, I wouldn't sit here like the whole Drake and Kendrick thing or whatever.
- 1:03:24SPEAKER_04: They going back and forth at each other, but at the same time, no one's no one's sitting here saying, yo, forget Drake or forget Kendrick, you know.
- 1:03:32SPEAKER_04: Everyone's still sitting here that's like, all right, well, that's them just beefing.
- 1:03:37SPEAKER_04: But that, like just hearing that, just hearing it to my ears, just like, nah, you know, that's that's just that's just important taste, you know.
- 1:03:44SPEAKER_04: That's that's not something that's not something.
- 1:03:45SPEAKER_03: And and it wasn't like in the context of music, like that's just between each other.
- 1:03:50SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:03:51SPEAKER_00: Sometimes that doesn't matter to them.
- 1:03:52SPEAKER_00: They don't care.
- 1:03:54SPEAKER_00: That's fine.
- 1:03:55SPEAKER_04: That's fine.
- 1:03:55SPEAKER_04: All right, cool.
- 1:03:56SPEAKER_04: Get your bag.
- 1:03:57SPEAKER_04: But then after that, you ain't you ain't setting yourself up.
- 1:03:59SPEAKER_03: That's other, but other than that, how is go how's Soulja Boy gonna stay relevant?
- 1:04:02SPEAKER_03: You gonna make a song that you're gonna listen to?
- 1:04:04SPEAKER_03: Well, you ain't staying relevant by doing that.
- 1:04:07SPEAKER_00: I mean, he made a song with um.
- 1:04:09SPEAKER_00: I was about to say, Yeah, it's good.
- 1:04:09SPEAKER_00: He made a song with sexy red.
- 1:04:10SPEAKER_00: And he was in the video doing his little thing.
- 1:04:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's how you say that.
- 1:04:14SPEAKER_04: That's how you stay relevant.
- 1:04:16SPEAKER_04: That's fine.
- 1:04:17SPEAKER_04: But that, nah.
- 1:04:19SPEAKER_01: I just think there's something in the air, and um it shit is fucked up.
- 1:04:24SPEAKER_03: But like I said, 217.
- 1:04:26SPEAKER_03: So he'll slap him when he sees him.
- 1:04:29SPEAKER_03: That's my favorite hip hop threat.
- 1:04:31SPEAKER_03: You telling another nigga that you gonna slap him when he seems like he's just gonna allow that to happen.
- 1:04:36SPEAKER_03: I love that.
- 1:04:37SPEAKER_03: I love that.
- 1:04:38SPEAKER_03: I love that shit so much.
- 1:04:40SPEAKER_04: Soja boy, he's slap Yeah, you're gonna look mad, confused.
- 1:04:46SPEAKER_03: What'd I do?
- 1:04:47SPEAKER_03: That nigga always confused.
- 1:04:48SPEAKER_03: Shout out to Soulja Boy Drake.
- 1:04:51SPEAKER_03: That's a classic moment.
- 1:04:53SPEAKER_03: I wonder where that Gucci band is.
- 1:04:55SPEAKER_03: Yo, that shit was terrible.
- 1:04:56SPEAKER_03: You know how that shit look?
- 1:04:58SPEAKER_03: Yeah, like rolling toy.
- 1:04:59SPEAKER_03: Yeah, come on, bruh.
- 1:05:00SPEAKER_03: I don't even want I don't want to smoke with Soulja Boy, though.
- 1:05:02SPEAKER_03: That nigga be cussing this shit.
- 1:05:04SPEAKER_03: Oh I ain't cussing.
- 1:05:06SPEAKER_03: I ain't really with the tussing.
- 1:05:08SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I don't want to talk.
- 1:05:10SPEAKER_03: Once he starts raising his voice, I just don't want to talk.
- 1:05:12SPEAKER_03: Let's just fight.
- 1:05:13SPEAKER_03: It's like niggas, niggas wanna talk.
- 1:05:16SPEAKER_03: That'd be the problem.
- 1:05:17SPEAKER_03: That's how I know it's all for views, bro.
- 1:05:20SPEAKER_03: 21 don't be talking like that.
- 1:05:24SPEAKER_03: Niggas start apologize.
- 1:05:28SPEAKER_03: But um, I'ma keep it music still.
- 1:05:31SPEAKER_03: It's gonna be another black man on TV.
- 1:05:33SPEAKER_03: This time it's Cameron.
- 1:05:35SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:05:37SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
- 1:05:37SPEAKER_03: My man don't see an again.
- 1:05:39SPEAKER_03: You didn't see it?
- 1:05:41SPEAKER_03: First of all, good thing he didn't see because that secondhand embarrassment shit I was talking about that shit was crazy.
- 1:05:48SPEAKER_03: First of all, who the fuck led him back on TV after that Bill O'Reilly shit he did 10 years ago?
- 1:05:53SPEAKER_03: I don't even know that.
- 1:05:54SPEAKER_03: What happened?
- 1:05:55SPEAKER_03: You don't know about this.
- 1:05:55SPEAKER_03: You don't know about that.
- 1:05:57SPEAKER_03: Do you?
- 1:05:58SPEAKER_03: Yeah, come on.
- 1:05:58SPEAKER_03: So basically, um I don't really know what the context was, but they called him on TV.
- 1:06:04SPEAKER_03: And Bill O'Reilly is like asking him about snitching.
- 1:06:07SPEAKER_03: And he like gave him a very like clear-cut situation.
- 1:06:09SPEAKER_03: He's like, yo, so if you had a serial killer living next door to you and you know he's a serial killer, are you gonna alert the authority?
- 1:06:16SPEAKER_03: And Cameron was like, I ain't telling.
- 1:06:19SPEAKER_03: That's his bit.
- 1:06:20SPEAKER_03: So he ain't killing nobody I know.
- 1:06:22SPEAKER_03: I'm not telling.
- 1:06:24SPEAKER_03: That was like the peak of the ignorance of not snitching the hip-hop.
- 1:06:28SPEAKER_03: So they made the mistake again of calling him up, but this time they wanted to ask him about another black man, Diddy.
- 1:06:34SPEAKER_03: And he politely let the lady know, like he was honestly on both sides of it.
- 1:06:40SPEAKER_03: He was he was immature, but he was I could understand his frustration.
- 1:06:43SPEAKER_03: According to him, he let them know straight up, I'm not, I don't want to talk about this.
- 1:06:47SPEAKER_03: And y'all still called me on here to talk about this.
- 1:06:49SPEAKER_03: And he answered their questions to an extent.
- 1:06:51SPEAKER_03: Like he was just saying, like, listen, I don't know Diddy like that.
- 1:06:53SPEAKER_03: He's not my friend.
- 1:06:54SPEAKER_03: I've I only know him through business.
- 1:06:56SPEAKER_03: And then, like, you know, I saw the video, it was disgusting.
- 1:06:59SPEAKER_03: But then he started going, he was talking to a woman, a black woman at that, and then he just started talking about because he has like this sex drink that he promotes.
- 1:07:07SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:07:07SPEAKER_03: So he was bugging.
- 1:07:08SPEAKER_03: So he like drank that shit like midnight, and then he's letting Hun know, like, I'm about to get some cheekers.
- 1:07:14SPEAKER_03: I'm like, come on.
- 1:07:15SPEAKER_03: This is CNN we talking about.
- 1:07:16SPEAKER_03: CNN.
- 1:07:17SPEAKER_03: CNN?
- 1:07:17SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:07:18SPEAKER_03: So the same shit, the same shit this guy's talking about with black people being viewed in a certain light.
- 1:07:24SPEAKER_03: Do you think Cameron just fed into that stereotype?
- 1:07:27SPEAKER_03: I didn't like it.
- 1:07:28SPEAKER_03: I don't think so.
- 1:07:29SPEAKER_03: You don't think so?
- 1:07:29SPEAKER_03: I think Cameron, a white person watching him in Nebraska watching this shit.
- 1:07:34SPEAKER_03: Like I knew these niggas acting.
- 1:07:35SPEAKER_04: I don't even, I don't, I don't want to talk on white people.
- 1:07:37SPEAKER_04: White people have this whole thing that they already have like this whole perception of us.
- 1:07:42SPEAKER_04: I that's just white people.
- 1:07:44SPEAKER_04: And he's thinking that, like, he's asking if Cameron's making that better or worse.
- 1:07:47SPEAKER_04: I mean, I feel like Cameron is just being Cameron.
- 1:07:50SPEAKER_04: I do agree with that.
- 1:07:52SPEAKER_04: That I agree with that.
- 1:07:53SPEAKER_04: Whatever you, whatever you come off of that, that's that's on you.
- 1:07:57SPEAKER_04: But you can't sit here and say, like, when white people see that, they was already thinking that.
- 1:08:00SPEAKER_04: If they was already thinking that, they just already thinking that.
- 1:08:03SPEAKER_04: That's it.
- 1:08:03SPEAKER_04: Look at look at him.
- 1:08:04SPEAKER_03: That's a good point.
- 1:08:05SPEAKER_03: Hey, come here, come here.
- 1:08:06SPEAKER_03: Look at look at Cameron.
- 1:08:09SPEAKER_03: This is a Cameron guy.
- 1:08:10SPEAKER_03: He's on it again.
- 1:08:12SPEAKER_03: Bill O'Reilly told him.
- 1:08:14SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I just didn't, I just didn't like him speaking to another black woman like that.
- 1:08:18SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I'm about to give some cheeks.
- 1:08:22SPEAKER_03: This lady on CNN with a dress.
- 1:08:24SPEAKER_03: He wasn't on the Breakfast Club, bro.
- 1:08:26SPEAKER_03: He was on CNN.
- 1:08:27SPEAKER_03: Black woman.
- 1:08:28SPEAKER_03: Even if it wasn't a black one, like you shouldn't be saying that to a woman.
- 1:08:31SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:08:32SPEAKER_03: But that's hip-hop.
- 1:08:34SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I guess that's hip-hop, but it's like, uh, I don't know, man.
- 1:08:38SPEAKER_04: I don't I don't see the disrespect in it, man.
- 1:08:41SPEAKER_04: You was just telling me about his day.
- 1:08:43SPEAKER_03: So if that was like you you you have a sister, right?
- 1:08:46SPEAKER_03: So if your sister was doing her job and some dude came up to her and let her know that, hey, uh, I'm about to get some cheeks after this.
- 1:08:53SPEAKER_03: Like, it had nothing to do with the context of the conversation.
- 1:08:56SPEAKER_03: Why he's why he had to mention that.
- 1:08:59SPEAKER_03: Hey, man.
- 1:09:01SPEAKER_04: He probably probably annoyed and frustrated at the situation.
- 1:09:04SPEAKER_04: So I'm looking at some cheeks?
- 1:09:05SPEAKER_04: Like, yo, from what you explained to me is that they called him on the show, they keep asking him these questions, they keep playing these games with him.
- 1:09:13SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna play back.
- 1:09:14SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:09:15SPEAKER_03: And I think that's fair.
- 1:09:17SPEAKER_03: I think that's fair.
- 1:09:18SPEAKER_03: That's fair.
- 1:09:18SPEAKER_01: All right, cool, cool, cool.
- 1:09:20SPEAKER_03: All right, um, we st we still got music.
- 1:09:22SPEAKER_03: We still got music.
- 1:09:23SPEAKER_03: Um I like this one about the arcs.
- 1:09:27SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I forgot, I just read that one.
- 1:09:29SPEAKER_03: It's a it's a I I actually want to know a Kev.
- 1:09:36SPEAKER_03: So what is uh is his artist or song?
- 1:09:40SPEAKER_03: Yeah, what song gets you like like you're you driving, right?
- 1:09:44SPEAKER_03: You passing the arcs around in your car.
- 1:09:46SPEAKER_03: It's my turn.
- 1:09:47SPEAKER_03: What song can I play that you're like immediately you need to get on?
- 1:09:54SPEAKER_01: Um I feel like this is gonna be a bullshit answer.
- 1:10:05SPEAKER_04: But uh I like all types of music, but uh it's just that type of dude.
- 1:10:10SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I like all type of music, but it's just like I feel like if it's if it's just if it's just sound and it's just a lot of loud just sounds, I I'd be like, nah, I can't I can't listen to this.
- 1:10:21SPEAKER_04: Like house music?
- 1:10:24SPEAKER_04: Nah, house music, house music edm, that's fine.
- 1:10:26SPEAKER_04: But if it's like like screamo music, like not screamo either.
- 1:10:31SPEAKER_04: It's it it just it just it just can't it just can't just it just can't be noise.
- 1:10:37SPEAKER_04: It's in the sense of like if someone was to play dubstep, you know, the first one, fine.
- 1:10:43SPEAKER_04: That's okay.
- 1:10:44SPEAKER_04: All right, but if it just goes and it just keeps doing that over and over, and I just keep hearing that as like come on.
- 1:10:51SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's like I I I can't I can't keep listening to that, you know.
- 1:10:55SPEAKER_04: Chubb's not here, he would have fought you.
- 1:10:56SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's the shit like that.
- 1:10:59SPEAKER_04: That's it's some some of it is good, but like, come on, man.
- 1:11:02SPEAKER_04: Like, you can't all of it it it gets too repetitive, right?
- 1:11:06SPEAKER_04: But like I left the club with him one time, and that nigga played that shit.
- 1:11:10SPEAKER_03: Mind you, I live far.
- 1:11:12SPEAKER_03: That nigga played that shit the whole way there.
- 1:11:15SPEAKER_03: Then he got to my crib, he was crashing in my crib, and he put on the TV about it.
- 1:11:19SPEAKER_03: Oh, I didn't know you were speaking about that time.
- 1:11:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he played that shit all night.
- 1:11:23SPEAKER_03: Yeah, all night.
- 1:11:24SPEAKER_03: Funny enough, Chubb Chubb was actually gonna be the person I was gonna mention as like I would never pass the auxion.
- 1:11:28SPEAKER_03: Nah, he's like the worst, my bad.
- 1:11:30SPEAKER_03: I just gotta go.
- 1:11:31SPEAKER_03: He's like the worst situational aux cord like person you can ever have.
- 1:11:37SPEAKER_03: If you go to a party, yeah.
- 1:11:38SPEAKER_03: If you go to a party, he's gonna play the exact opposite to get you out of a mood of party.
- 1:11:43SPEAKER_03: If you're doing something serious, he's gonna play you the song that you shouldn't be playing.
- 1:11:46SPEAKER_03: I will never give him an arch code.
- 1:11:48SPEAKER_03: Like if I'm like if I'm going somewhere and I need my energy to be high, I'm not letting him play the ox, bro.
- 1:11:53SPEAKER_03: I will I would never, I will never.
- 1:11:56SPEAKER_03: Shout out Chubb.
- 1:11:56SPEAKER_03: Shout out Chubb, bro.
- 1:11:57SPEAKER_03: I will never that nigga's gonna go home.
- 1:11:59SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he's gonna be tight.
- 1:12:00SPEAKER_04: He's gonna be tight.
- 1:12:01SPEAKER_04: But um, nah.
- 1:12:02SPEAKER_04: So y'all know, like, shout out Beyonce.
- 1:12:04SPEAKER_04: But um, you better, yeah.
- 1:12:06SPEAKER_04: This might be strike three.
- 1:12:07SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah, right.
- 1:12:08SPEAKER_04: But um, you know that song, This is Texas.
- 1:12:11SPEAKER_04: This is bears.
- 1:12:12SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I if if someone played that song, I'd be like, pass me, pass it, pass me down.
- 1:12:16SPEAKER_04: I can't hear that song.
- 1:12:17SPEAKER_04: I can't hear that song.
- 1:12:18SPEAKER_04: Personally, it's it's a catchy song.
- 1:12:21SPEAKER_04: Don't get me wrong.
- 1:12:21SPEAKER_04: It is a very catchy song.
- 1:12:24SPEAKER_04: I don't like the lyrics.
- 1:12:26SPEAKER_04: I don't like the song.
- 1:12:27SPEAKER_04: There's no substance for me in there.
- 1:12:29SPEAKER_04: You you listen to the lyrics, you listen to like it all going down.
- 1:12:33SPEAKER_04: All she says throughout the song is this is Texas.
- 1:12:36SPEAKER_04: We going downstairs.
- 1:12:38SPEAKER_04: This she she says like buzzing words in your ear throughout the whole song.
- 1:12:44SPEAKER_04: It's like anything to do with Texas, hoe downs, it's in there.
- 1:12:49SPEAKER_04: Square dancing, it's in there.
- 1:12:51SPEAKER_04: You got some steps somewhere, it's in there.
- 1:12:53SPEAKER_04: Whiskey, it's in there.
- 1:12:54SPEAKER_04: Anything that's country related, it's in that song, and it's said or it's sung or whatever.
- 1:13:01SPEAKER_04: That's not that's that's that's some that's music I can't listen to.
- 1:13:05SPEAKER_03: So you think uh because it was like too like cash grabbing.
- 1:13:08SPEAKER_03: It wasn't culturally like, hey, she's mentioning these things because this is a part of a part of her.
- 1:13:14SPEAKER_04: I I I I would go along those lines.
- 1:13:16SPEAKER_04: She's from Texas.
- 1:13:17SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I know she's from Texas.
- 1:13:18SPEAKER_04: Don't get me wrong.
- 1:13:19SPEAKER_04: She's from she could be she from Texas.
- 1:13:22SPEAKER_04: That's fine.
- 1:13:23SPEAKER_04: But it's like I feel like I wouldn't consider it a country song.
- 1:13:29SPEAKER_04: I also wouldn't consider it like a hip hop song or or pop song, you know.
- 1:13:34SPEAKER_04: It's it's just music, you know, and and you hear it, it's nice, it's pretty, you know, it's something that you could dance to it, you know.
- 1:13:42SPEAKER_04: It's a it's a nice vibe, but it's like it's it's it's nothing for me, you know.
- 1:13:48SPEAKER_04: It's it's not it's it's not giving me that feel of Texas, what she's going for, you know.
- 1:13:53SPEAKER_04: It's not it's also not giving me that feel of, you know, yeah, it's a it's a it's a party, holdown type of thing.
- 1:14:01SPEAKER_04: It's just rock music.
- 1:14:03SPEAKER_04: You know, I can't I can't listen to something like that.
- 1:14:06SPEAKER_04: I need I need to I need to I need to hear lyrics.
- 1:14:09SPEAKER_04: That's why when y'all mention like Screamo, there's there's feeling in Screamo music.
- 1:14:14SPEAKER_04: There's feeling in metal, you know, there's feeling in rock and roll and stuff like that, hip hop and stuff like that.
- 1:14:22SPEAKER_03: Not no shit I'm gonna feel.
- 1:14:24SPEAKER_03: Uh Screamo, not rolling.
- 1:14:27SPEAKER_03: It's not for everybody.
- 1:14:28SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's especially not you.
- 1:14:30SPEAKER_03: Um uh what's your like song or genre or something that as soon as the uh that shit hits, you got to tell that person.
- 1:14:37SPEAKER_00: No, there was this one time I was in the car with my friends, and this girl ended up putting Phantom of the Opera.
- 1:14:44SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't know if you guys know opera music, but like I'm talking like music.
- 1:14:49SPEAKER_00: And she putting this shit loud, like blasting that something.
- 1:14:52SPEAKER_00: All you hear is that I'm like, yo, girl, I don't know.
- 1:14:55SPEAKER_00: I can't, I can't do it today.
- 1:14:57SPEAKER_03: Like, where are we all going?
- 1:14:58SPEAKER_03: She thought that that was like funny, we were going to AC.
- 1:15:01SPEAKER_03: You see, that's the shit that gets me.
- 1:15:05SPEAKER_03: That's the shit that gets me.
- 1:15:07SPEAKER_03: Playing the wrong song at the wrong time really frustrates me.
- 1:15:12SPEAKER_03: Does she play with Ouija boards and shit like that?
- 1:15:15SPEAKER_00: No, she doesn't, actually.
- 1:15:16SPEAKER_03: I'm just like picturing.
- 1:15:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you're trying to picture her.
- 1:15:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no.
- 1:15:19SPEAKER_00: She's white.
- 1:15:22SPEAKER_03: I know it wasn't easy.
- 1:15:27SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 1:15:29SPEAKER_02: That's racist.
- 1:15:31SPEAKER_02: Y'all ain't gonna have sharp immediately.
- 1:15:38SPEAKER_03: I tell Chubbs all the time I want like him to have some of his white friends come up here.
- 1:15:41SPEAKER_03: I think uh I think that type of conversation discourse is dope.
- 1:15:45SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I do not hate white people.
- 1:15:48SPEAKER_03: Thank you for the biggest.
- 1:15:50SPEAKER_03: Y'all trying to paint me some weight because because I want I want like policy instead of biggest.
- 1:15:57SPEAKER_03: No problem.
- 1:15:59SPEAKER_03: Tune what is it for you, dog?
- 1:16:00SPEAKER_03: I've been you can already.
- 1:16:01SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no, I'm telling you, like, just more with me, it's just like a situational type of thing.
- 1:16:05SPEAKER_03: Like, I'm cool with listening to anything just so long as it matches the vibe.
- 1:16:10SPEAKER_03: And like I said, Chubbs is at one time that we went out and he started playing like drum music, and I was like, I don't want to be angry going to a party.
- 1:16:19SPEAKER_00: Or like the stab music.
- 1:16:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he played Joe Buddha.
- 1:16:23SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:16:24SPEAKER_03: Like a breakup song that's like 10 minutes.
- 1:16:28SPEAKER_00: I don't want to do that.
- 1:16:30SPEAKER_03: Not ready to get hype.
- 1:16:32SPEAKER_03: I still see the shadows in Bible.
- 1:16:35SPEAKER_03: Come on, bro.
- 1:16:36SPEAKER_03: Uh, for me, and it's gonna paint me a certain way.
- 1:16:42SPEAKER_03: I don't even know who that is.

- 1:17:12SPEAKER_03: You put on Bob Dylan or some shit like that.
- 1:17:16SPEAKER_03: As a white person, that the only reason we know who his name is is because of hip hop.
- 1:17:19SPEAKER_03: I think that was extremely disrespectful.
- 1:17:21SPEAKER_03: So fuck that nigga.
- 1:17:23SPEAKER_03: And postmalone makes good music.

- 1:17:33SPEAKER_03: That's all I'm saying.
- 1:17:35SPEAKER_03: You actually dissed everybody when you said that.
- 1:17:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:17:37SPEAKER_03: It's fucked up.

- 1:18:08SPEAKER_03: I'm not rolling with that.
- 1:18:09SPEAKER_03: Um we're gonna keep it uh music, and this is like a very controversial topic.
- 1:18:14SPEAKER_03: So Apple, Apple Music, they released the top ten albums of all time.
- 1:18:21SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna read them all for you guys.
- 1:18:23SPEAKER_01: And I'm gonna go from ten to one.
- 1:18:25SPEAKER_01: Alright.
- 1:18:26SPEAKER_01: At number ten, got eliminated by Beyonce.
- 1:18:29SPEAKER_01: Is that Beyonce's best album?
- 1:18:31SPEAKER_01: I think it might be.
- 1:18:34SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 1:18:35SPEAKER_00: I don't even tell you.
- 1:18:37SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 1:18:37SPEAKER_00: I I mean there are good songs on there, but I don't think that's her best album.
- 1:18:42SPEAKER_03: You know.
- 1:18:43SPEAKER_03: Alright.
- 1:18:43SPEAKER_03: So after that, we have, and this is when like I call like Yeah, is uh Nevermind by Nirvana.
- 1:18:51SPEAKER_03: Oh Nirvana Nirvana's up there.
- 1:18:53SPEAKER_03: You don't think they b deserve to be top ten all time?

- 1:18:59SPEAKER_03: You mind speaking into the mic?
- 1:19:00SPEAKER_03: Sorry.
- 1:19:00SPEAKER_04: Nirvana is a good group.
- 1:19:02SPEAKER_04: I'm I'm going based off a name.
- 1:19:03SPEAKER_04: I don't know the album.
- 1:19:04SPEAKER_04: The album, yeah.
- 1:19:05SPEAKER_04: But I do know the name.
- 1:19:06SPEAKER_04: I know Nirvana.
- 1:19:07SPEAKER_03: So they up there.
- 1:19:08SPEAKER_04: Cool.

- 1:19:11SPEAKER_03: Like, you gotta like talk into it.
- 1:19:13SPEAKER_03: Then they got uh at number eight, they got Back to Black by Amy Weinhouse.
- 1:19:18SPEAKER_03: It's another album I didn't listen to.
- 1:19:22SPEAKER_04: I don't know too many Amy music.
- 1:19:25SPEAKER_04: I know one song.
- 1:19:26SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah, rehab, yeah.
- 1:19:28SPEAKER_04: But now I'm starting to question it a little bit.
- 1:19:32SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah, I did see the uh this is the eighth best album of all time, according to the I thought it was seventh.
- 1:19:37SPEAKER_03: No, it's eighth.
- 1:19:38SPEAKER_03: Seventh is uh Good Kid Mad City, but I can't talk about it.

- 1:19:54SPEAKER_03: Okay, I can't count.
- 1:19:54SPEAKER_01: It's alright.
- 1:19:56SPEAKER_03: That's actually a specialty.
- 1:19:59SPEAKER_03: If you lose that, you're in trouble.
- 1:20:00SPEAKER_03: Is that is that Kendrick's uh best album?
- 1:20:04SPEAKER_03: What, Mad City?
- 1:20:06SPEAKER_00: I like that one.
- 1:20:07SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and I like I like damned I think better than that one.

- 1:20:14SPEAKER_04: Well, he was already good.
- 1:20:15SPEAKER_03: But yeah, I think that was like that was the like paved it away for him.
- 1:20:20SPEAKER_03: So number six is uh Songs and the Key of Life by Stevie Wonder.
- 1:20:26SPEAKER_04: I feel like you would like be able to tell us, like I mean, I feel like if it's Songs of the Key of Wonder that has all of the like Stevie Wonder hits, I feel like, yeah.
- 1:20:37SPEAKER_03: Or not number five, and this is gonna be a controversial one.
- 1:20:42SPEAKER_03: They got Blonde by Franco.
- 1:20:46SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:20:46SPEAKER_03: I ain't playing that too.

- 1:20:59SPEAKER_03: But see, that's why I think hype is also important for these things.
- 1:21:02SPEAKER_03: Because that shit just had a lot of hype.
- 1:21:04SPEAKER_03: I don't think I'm not sure.
- 1:21:04SPEAKER_03: It's not a great album.
- 1:21:05SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I'm not saying it didn't live up to the hype.
- 1:21:07SPEAKER_03: It's a classic album, but really, I just don't think.
- 1:21:09SPEAKER_03: Oh, that's a phenomenal work of art.
- 1:21:12SPEAKER_03: I'm a freaking fan.
- 1:21:13SPEAKER_03: I stopped being a fan of him because of a reason that I'm not gonna disclose on the podcast.
- 1:21:18SPEAKER_03: But this album was the name of the album.
- 1:21:21SPEAKER_03: Blonde.

- 1:22:40SPEAKER_00: They even said like if you see like documentaries and stuff like that, like there's pretty like arena full of people just attacking the Beatles.
- 1:22:49SPEAKER_00: So I know it's a really big thing at their time.

- 1:27:48SPEAKER_03: I think she did a music video for every song.
- 1:27:50SPEAKER_03: Yeah, she did.
- 1:27:50SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:27:51SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 1:27:52SPEAKER_03: And she did a movie, I think.
- 1:27:53SPEAKER_03: Yes, yeah.
- 1:27:54SPEAKER_03: And the tour was fired?
- 1:27:55SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 1:27:55SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 1:27:57SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's what I was going toward.
- 1:28:00SPEAKER_03: And Jay-Z.
- 1:28:01SPEAKER_03: But Becky with the good hair?
- 1:28:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:28:04SPEAKER_03: That can't be real.
- 1:28:05SPEAKER_03: That can't be real.
- 1:28:07SPEAKER_03: She's so pick up the weather.
- 1:28:09SPEAKER_03: Um, yeah, no Eminem.
- 1:28:11SPEAKER_03: I mean, no Eminem.
- 1:28:12SPEAKER_03: No uh Lil' Wayne album at all.
- 1:28:14SPEAKER_03: And I agree.
- 1:28:14SPEAKER_03: That's crazy.
- 1:28:15SPEAKER_03: That's because his best shit is definitely mixtapes.
- 1:28:18SPEAKER_03: Oh.
- 1:28:18SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's the problem.
- 1:28:21SPEAKER_03: His albums age like shit.
- 1:28:22SPEAKER_03: Like all of them are like.
- 1:28:23SPEAKER_04: Yeah, he's he's more he he does a lot of features.
- 1:28:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but his mixtape and feature run is impeccable.
- 1:28:28SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 1:28:29SPEAKER_04: If we was doing mixtape.
- 1:28:31SPEAKER_04: That's different.
- 1:28:31SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 1:28:32SPEAKER_04: He doesn't have a solid album for himself.
- 1:28:35SPEAKER_04: Nah.
- 1:28:35SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:28:36SPEAKER_04: Not enough.
- 1:28:38SPEAKER_03: Not to beat out a hundred other albums of all genres.
- 1:28:41SPEAKER_03: Yeah, nah.
- 1:28:41SPEAKER_03: No Elvis in the top ten.
- 1:28:43SPEAKER_03: Well, that's fine.
- 1:28:45SPEAKER_03: I'm happy with that.
- 1:28:46SPEAKER_04: You don't fuck with Elvis?
- 1:28:47SPEAKER_04: No, it's not that own.
- 1:28:48SPEAKER_04: No Johnny Cash in the top ten.
- 1:28:51SPEAKER_04: No Aerosmith.
- 1:28:52SPEAKER_04: I'm a little upset.
- 1:28:52SPEAKER_04: I'm a little upset with Johnny Cash.
- 1:28:54SPEAKER_04: Aerosmith, that wasn't like me.
- 1:28:56SPEAKER_04: But Johnny Cash, I like Johnny Cash.
- 1:28:58SPEAKER_04: I feel like he he's not in the hundreds.
- 1:29:00SPEAKER_03: He probably is, but he I'm just talking about the top ten.
- 1:29:03SPEAKER_03: Like you think ten albums and like all genres?
- 1:29:12SPEAKER_01: Oh, you were trying to put two up there.
- 1:29:15SPEAKER_01: But nah, um Yeah.
- 1:29:18SPEAKER_01: Some people was definitely on our list twice.
- 1:29:20SPEAKER_01: Of course.
- 1:29:21SPEAKER_03: On that list?
- 1:29:22SPEAKER_03: Top 10?
- 1:29:24SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah, no, no, that's not top 10, just in general.
- 1:29:26SPEAKER_03: And Michael Jackson wasn't on our list twice.
- 1:29:28SPEAKER_03: Nah, he had.
- 1:29:29SPEAKER_03: Oh, I was about to say another issue I'm having with the list now that we're talking about that is um it's too much.
- 1:29:35SPEAKER_03: Hold on, why is Amy at Winehouse something?
- 1:29:37SPEAKER_04: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:29:38SPEAKER_04: Why is Amy Winehouse?
- 1:29:39SPEAKER_04: Because I'm trying to remember all the other people you said, but Amy Winehouse is up there.
- 1:29:44SPEAKER_04: You saying Johnny Cash.
- 1:29:45SPEAKER_04: I'ma be for real.
- 1:29:46SPEAKER_04: So you know why.
- 1:29:47SPEAKER_03: So the two rap albums that's there, one of them is Kendrick and one of them is Lauren Hill.
- 1:29:52SPEAKER_03: Oh bro.
- 1:29:53SPEAKER_03: That's it?
- 1:29:54SPEAKER_03: That's how we're going?
- 1:29:55SPEAKER_03: You know how they're doing that, man.
- 1:29:57SPEAKER_04: You know that's what type of shit they on.
- 1:29:58SPEAKER_04: I don't know what you're trying to insinuate with Apple Music and they top 10 lists, but I don't know what Lauren Hill.
- 1:30:06SPEAKER_04: I'm not rolling with Lauren.
- 1:30:08SPEAKER_03: If we only get two chances for rap albums, Lauren Hill's gonna be in there?
- 1:30:13unknown: No.
- 1:30:13SPEAKER_03: Come on.
- 1:30:14SPEAKER_03: Do I?
- 1:30:15SPEAKER_03: That's not a rap song.
- 1:30:16SPEAKER_04: That's not.
- 1:30:18SPEAKER_03: Stop it.
- 1:30:19SPEAKER_03: Stop it.
- 1:30:20SPEAKER_03: That is a rap song, bro.
- 1:30:22SPEAKER_04: I wouldn't call that a rap song.
- 1:30:23SPEAKER_04: Why not?
- 1:30:24SPEAKER_04: Because it's not it's not fully rap.
- 1:30:27SPEAKER_04: Ain't no bars.
- 1:30:28SPEAKER_04: It's rap.
- 1:30:29SPEAKER_04: It's it's she has bars.
- 1:30:30SPEAKER_04: It's not not on that song.
- 1:30:31SPEAKER_04: It's no metaphor in that song.
- 1:30:33SPEAKER_03: But like the whole song is a metaphor.
- 1:30:35SPEAKER_03: See for what?
- 1:30:37SPEAKER_04: Would you call bro?
- 1:30:38SPEAKER_04: Let's sleep with a married man.

- 1:32:47SPEAKER_03: She do got one.
- 1:32:47SPEAKER_03: That's a ballad, but it's bad.

- 1:33:02SPEAKER_03: There's no difference between Britney Spears and Rihanna to me personally.
- 1:33:04SPEAKER_03: Britney Spears can't do Pondi replay.
- 1:33:08SPEAKER_03: She can do some country Dixie chick shit.
- 1:33:10SPEAKER_03: Okay, Jessica Simpson.
- 1:33:13SPEAKER_03: That was bad.
- 1:33:14SPEAKER_03: That was bad.
- 1:33:14SPEAKER_03: That was bad.
- 1:33:15SPEAKER_03: That's why pop is funny.
- 1:33:17SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:33:17SPEAKER_03: Because Rihanna's a billionaire, can't sing a fucking note.
- 1:33:21SPEAKER_03: I love Rihanna.
- 1:33:22SPEAKER_03: I think she's like she put she like number two in pop all time.
- 1:33:26SPEAKER_03: Behind Michael Jackson.
- 1:33:29SPEAKER_03: Rihanna got like three albums, though.
- 1:33:30SPEAKER_03: Only?
- 1:33:31SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:33:32SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 1:33:32SPEAKER_03: That's what she did.
- 1:33:34SPEAKER_04: She got 50.
- 1:33:36SPEAKER_04: Well, she does a lot of features.
- 1:33:39SPEAKER_05: She's rapping on that shit.
- 1:33:40SPEAKER_04: I feel like she does a lot of features.
- 1:33:42SPEAKER_04: But you know who else can't sing?
- 1:33:45SPEAKER_04: Taj.
- 1:33:46SPEAKER_04: Taj P.
- 1:33:46SPEAKER_04: Henson.
- 1:33:47SPEAKER_04: Who the fuck?
- 1:33:47SPEAKER_04: That's her name.
- 1:33:48SPEAKER_04: Taraj?
- 1:33:50SPEAKER_03: Taraji P.
- 1:33:51SPEAKER_03: Henson?
- 1:33:52SPEAKER_03: Uh.
- 1:33:52SPEAKER_03: She's a basket.
- 1:33:54SPEAKER_03: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:33:56SPEAKER_03: I thought you was talking about the basketball.
- 1:34:00SPEAKER_03: Taj Gibson.
- 1:34:01SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I was going to say, hold on now.
- 1:34:02SPEAKER_03: Taraji.
- 1:34:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:34:04SPEAKER_03: She's a she's actually.
- 1:34:04SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but so.
- 1:34:07SPEAKER_04: Hey, this nigga about to tell me so educate me, big dog.
- 1:34:10SPEAKER_04: So y'all have uh y'all seen the new Color Purple?
- 1:34:13SPEAKER_04: Nah, I didn't get a chance.
- 1:34:15SPEAKER_04: You ain't see it?
- 1:34:16SPEAKER_04: Nah.
- 1:34:16SPEAKER_04: Y'all should watch that movie.
- 1:34:17SPEAKER_04: She was singing?
- 1:34:18SPEAKER_04: It's a musical.
- 1:34:19SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's a play.
- 1:34:20SPEAKER_04: The color purple's a play originally.
- 1:34:21SPEAKER_04: Yeah, but this one is a musical.
- 1:34:23SPEAKER_04: Like it's not like the original one.
- 1:34:24SPEAKER_04: It's not like the original.
- 1:34:25SPEAKER_04: It's not like the original.
- 1:34:26SPEAKER_04: It's definitely no.
- 1:34:28SPEAKER_04: Oh.
- 1:34:29SPEAKER_04: It was it it was it was.
- 1:34:31SPEAKER_04: I feel like that movie was a snuff film for to Taraj's career.
- 1:34:36SPEAKER_04: Really?
- 1:34:37SPEAKER_04: It was that bad.
- 1:34:37SPEAKER_04: It was it was crazy.
- 1:34:39SPEAKER_04: Nah, the movie is phenomenal.
- 1:34:41SPEAKER_04: She fancied.
- 1:34:41SPEAKER_03: Well, my thing is, so it's a movie.
- 1:34:43SPEAKER_03: So it's obvious, it's not live, obviously, right?
- 1:34:45SPEAKER_03: No, it's a live action movie.
- 1:34:47SPEAKER_03: Oh, it's live.
- 1:34:47SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
- 1:34:48SPEAKER_04: It's a live movie, but like it's a it's a musical.
- 1:34:51SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 1:34:51SPEAKER_04: So like every time you see her in the scene, like she doesn't look like a good actress at all.
- 1:35:02SPEAKER_04: Like every time she's in the shot, she's drinking something, right?
- 1:35:06SPEAKER_04: Every time it's like a singing scene, like let me put it to you this way.
- 1:35:12SPEAKER_04: When a character comes on the screen for the first time and they're about to do a musical number, that character is singing their role.
- 1:35:20SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 1:35:20SPEAKER_04: But when it comes to Taj, like she's Taraji.
- 1:35:24SPEAKER_04: Taraj.
- 1:35:24SPEAKER_04: Taraji.
- 1:35:25SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you wanna.
- 1:35:26SPEAKER_04: My fault, my fault.
- 1:35:27SPEAKER_04: But when it, but when it when it when it comes to her, when it comes to her and she gets and she gets on screen, like her first musical number, everyone else is singing and dancing around her.
- 1:35:38SPEAKER_04: You don't even see her yet.
- 1:35:39SPEAKER_04: Oh, they hiding her defense.
- 1:35:41SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and then after once she finally gets there, you could clearly see that she's not singing.
- 1:35:48SPEAKER_04: Like you could see that.
- 1:35:49SPEAKER_04: Like even they they had the they had a they had another black actor up there, the um if you butchered to Ri, I don't even want to know.
- 1:35:59SPEAKER_03: No, no, no.
- 1:36:00SPEAKER_03: I don't this this dude.
- 1:36:01SPEAKER_03: Shusha Q.
- 1:36:03SPEAKER_02: Hey, he Aaron, hey, hey, Aaron.
- 1:36:07SPEAKER_04: I don't know this.
- 1:36:08SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
- 1:36:09SPEAKER_04: Nigga, speak it to the mic, please.
- 1:36:10SPEAKER_04: I don't know this dude's name, but he was always he was in and live in color, and he worked with the with the Wayne's brothers and stuff.
- 1:36:18SPEAKER_04: He was also in um first, was it first Sunday?
- 1:36:21SPEAKER_04: Nah not first, not first Sunday, the dance movie.
- 1:36:24SPEAKER_04: He was the big fat dude.
- 1:36:25SPEAKER_04: Step up one of them shits.
- 1:36:26SPEAKER_04: Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah.
- 1:36:27SPEAKER_04: It was a it was a parody.
- 1:36:29SPEAKER_04: Nah, not Stomp the Yard.
- 1:36:30SPEAKER_04: It was it was Dance Flick.
- 1:36:32SPEAKER_04: Oh, like literally the parody.
- 1:36:33SPEAKER_04: Yeah, the parody.
- 1:36:34SPEAKER_04: The name.
- 1:36:35SPEAKER_04: I don't remember the dude, though.
- 1:36:36SPEAKER_04: But it was the it's the big fat dude.
- 1:36:38SPEAKER_04: He was playing like Mr.
- 1:36:39SPEAKER_04: Cheese.
- 1:36:40SPEAKER_04: He was like, yo, I need y'all to go out and get my get my money.
- 1:36:43SPEAKER_03: I don't remember the movie enough, yeah.
- 1:36:44SPEAKER_04: But yeah, yeah, but he was in there.
- 1:36:46SPEAKER_04: Any anyway, what I'm trying to say is like he's an actor.
- 1:36:49SPEAKER_04: He's a good actor, right?
- 1:36:52SPEAKER_04: He's not really a singer, yeah.
- 1:36:54SPEAKER_04: He's not really uh he's not really a uh a like a person, a pianist, like someone that does that, but he could pretend to do that.
- 1:37:04SPEAKER_04: So his acting was better.
- 1:37:05SPEAKER_04: His acting was good.
- 1:37:07SPEAKER_04: Like he's he when you look at him, he's an actor.
- 1:37:09SPEAKER_04: You look at Todd, she's not an actor, she's not an actress.
- 1:37:13SPEAKER_04: Like she's just there for a name.
- 1:37:15SPEAKER_04: I don't know how this is gonna go over in the community, but I respect you for stepping up.
- 1:37:19SPEAKER_04: Nah, I'm telling you, like if you I believe you.
- 1:37:20SPEAKER_04: If you if you watch that move, if you watch that movie, man, like everything, every time she's on screen, like this is this is how messed up they did.
- 1:37:30SPEAKER_04: They put her next to a real singer singing her words, and you could tell like she's singing, and then after you have Taj standing next to her mouthing the words or acting trying to sing.
- 1:37:42SPEAKER_04: That's crazy.
- 1:37:43SPEAKER_00: I think even the first scene, like she didn't even sing at all.
- 1:37:46SPEAKER_00: It was just it was just a song about her.
- 1:37:48SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 1:37:48SPEAKER_00: And then she was just sitting in the like the character, and like drinking and smoking, and she was just chilling, you know.
- 1:37:53SPEAKER_00: That was that was her character.
- 1:37:55SPEAKER_04: Don't get me wrong, that was her character, but even then, everyone is just everyone is just dancing around her, everyone's acting around her, everyone's singing around her.
- 1:38:04SPEAKER_03: That movie got a lot of black because the whole Oprah controversy moves around.
- 1:38:08SPEAKER_03: She was like the lead in that.
- 1:38:09SPEAKER_03: And then to hear all of that and then she sucked, that's actually pretty funny.
- 1:38:11SPEAKER_04: Well, this is the thing.
- 1:38:12SPEAKER_04: She wasn't, she wasn't even like she was one of the leads, but she was more so like a supporting character.
- 1:38:18SPEAKER_04: You know, because the main character in the like in the original Color Purple, the main character in the movie was Whoopi Goldman.
- 1:38:27SPEAKER_04: Yeah, did they bring Whoopi back?
- 1:38:28SPEAKER_04: Yeah, she did.
- 1:38:29SPEAKER_04: She was she was a she played a midwife in the movie.
- 1:38:31SPEAKER_03: You know, they it was So it was a continuation of the story, or was the same story?
- 1:38:34SPEAKER_04: No, it's the same story, you know, it's the same story, but she she played the midwife.
- 1:38:38SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 1:38:38SPEAKER_04: But um, I I talked to my mother about this.
- 1:38:41SPEAKER_04: Funny enough, she said, nah, I didn't even like this movie.
- 1:38:44SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 1:38:44SPEAKER_04: And I'm like, well, why not?
- 1:38:46SPEAKER_04: It's like it's not the color purple that I remember it to be.
- 1:38:49SPEAKER_04: And I'm like, honestly, I understood this one, and I've watched both.
- 1:38:53SPEAKER_04: I understood this one a lot more than I did the other one.
- 1:38:56SPEAKER_04: I didn't like the color purple because of like the context of it.
- 1:38:59SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it was, but that's what I'm saying.
- 1:39:01SPEAKER_04: You watch the new one, you under it, it makes everything in the original color purple makes sense.
- 1:39:06SPEAKER_04: Make sense.
- 1:39:06SPEAKER_04: It makes everything in the original color purple make sense, and you have a whole different meaning on it.
- 1:39:10SPEAKER_04: Let's be honest.
- 1:39:11SPEAKER_04: That shit was a lesbian book.
- 1:39:13SPEAKER_04: I've never heard that take before.
- 1:39:15SPEAKER_00: Me neither.
- 1:39:17SPEAKER_04: I've I've I've I've never I've never even heard that take.
- 1:39:23SPEAKER_03: Tell me that movie is not about some lesbian shit.
- 1:39:25SPEAKER_03: And there's nothing wrong with lesbians.
- 1:39:26SPEAKER_03: I approve.
- 1:39:29SPEAKER_04: I can't, I I can't get past the color purple because I could never understand the context of it.
- 1:39:33SPEAKER_04: I can never, I can never get past it.
- 1:39:35SPEAKER_04: I get so bored of it.
- 1:39:36SPEAKER_04: You know, but the the new one, once you get past all the singing and you actually watch the story, it's like real crazy.
- 1:39:44SPEAKER_04: Like the whole context is just like not to not to just just to sell you on the movie.
- 1:39:50SPEAKER_04: It's really just about a girl being taken from one family, getting thrown into a marriage, taking care of another man's kids, and then after like getting beat every day trying to like have positivity in life, you know?
- 1:40:07SPEAKER_04: And I'm not really selling it like really well, but that's really what it is.
- 1:40:11SPEAKER_04: That's how that's how hard, that's how like deep it goes.
- 1:40:14SPEAKER_04: This should sound like a Tyler Perry movie, though.
- 1:40:16SPEAKER_03: It's not, it's it's it's so much better.
- 1:40:18SPEAKER_03: So much better.
- 1:40:19SPEAKER_03: So I'm I'm starting up a new podcast soon uh about like on film, TV, and stuff like that.
- 1:40:24SPEAKER_03: Might have you on.
- 1:40:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he's perfect for that.
- 1:40:25SPEAKER_00: He just watched it the whole time.
- 1:40:27SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 1:40:27SPEAKER_04: So I might have you on as a recurring guest.
- 1:40:28SPEAKER_04: Or you might even hit it.
- 1:40:30SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I might.
- 1:40:31SPEAKER_04: You might watch watch um another movie I would recommend Jurassic Park.
- 1:40:35SPEAKER_04: Really watch it, really listen, really hear that movie.
- 1:40:38SPEAKER_04: That movie, a good movie.
- 1:40:40SPEAKER_04: Did you watch the book of clearance?
- 1:40:41SPEAKER_04: The book of clearance.
- 1:40:42SPEAKER_04: No, I haven't Netflix watched that.
- 1:40:44SPEAKER_04: Watch that?
- 1:40:45SPEAKER_03: Alright, I'll check it out.
- 1:40:46SPEAKER_03: I'll check it out.
- 1:40:46SPEAKER_03: We didn't really talk about it last time, did we?
- 1:40:49SPEAKER_03: Nah, we didn't talk about it at all.
- 1:40:50SPEAKER_03: Because I I didn't watch it that time.
- 1:40:52SPEAKER_03: I watched it.
- 1:40:54SPEAKER_03: You told me two hours before like the episode started.
- 1:40:56SPEAKER_03: I was supposed to watch it.
- 1:40:58SPEAKER_03: Can I get a quick two minutes on that?
- 1:40:59SPEAKER_03: How you felt about the movie?
- 1:41:00SPEAKER_03: I enjoyed it, honestly.
- 1:41:02SPEAKER_03: You fucking weird?
- 1:41:04SPEAKER_03: Yeah, hell yeah.
- 1:41:05SPEAKER_03: I understand 100%.
- 1:41:06SPEAKER_03: Like, that nigga was literally hating on Jesus.
- 1:41:09SPEAKER_03: Like, nah.
- 1:41:10SPEAKER_03: He was.
- 1:41:11SPEAKER_03: He just didn't believe in God.
- 1:41:13SPEAKER_03: Until he needed to believe in God.
- 1:41:17SPEAKER_03: And that's why that's all that matters.
- 1:41:20SPEAKER_03: Too late.
- 1:41:21SPEAKER_03: He definitely, yeah.
- 1:41:22SPEAKER_03: Nah, actually, can't you say it was too late?
- 1:41:24SPEAKER_03: Nah.
- 1:41:25SPEAKER_03: It's never too late.
- 1:41:25SPEAKER_03: I think that's like the theme.
- 1:41:27SPEAKER_03: Oh man.
- 1:41:28SPEAKER_03: I think I think that movie actually like painted God to his back exactly be who I think God is.
- 1:41:33SPEAKER_03: I think God has a sense of humor.
- 1:41:35SPEAKER_03: And I think I think God is not gonna always like give you what He's gonna give you what you want sometimes, but it's definitely not gonna be in the situation you want it to be.
- 1:41:44SPEAKER_03: How'd you feel how'd you feel about the White Jesus part?
- 1:41:46SPEAKER_03: I think that's what I think.
- 1:41:46SPEAKER_03: That shit was hilarious.
- 1:41:47SPEAKER_03: I think that shit was funny.
- 1:41:48SPEAKER_03: That shit was hilarious.
- 1:41:49SPEAKER_03: That shit was hilarious.
- 1:41:52SPEAKER_03: Book of Clarence.
- 1:41:52SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:41:53SPEAKER_03: You gotta watch it.
- 1:41:54SPEAKER_03: It's fire.
- 1:41:55SPEAKER_03: It's fire.
- 1:41:56SPEAKER_03: It's not as much of a comedy as you said it was.
- 1:41:58SPEAKER_03: I took it.
- 1:42:00SPEAKER_03: It was definitely funny.
- 1:42:02SPEAKER_03: It's a tragic comedy.
- 1:42:04SPEAKER_03: Nah, not even.
- 1:42:05SPEAKER_03: I mean, I guess you kind of would put it under comedy because what else would you put it under?
- 1:42:09SPEAKER_03: Nigga shit.
- 1:42:10SPEAKER_03: Definitely.
- 1:42:11SPEAKER_03: Beautiful.
- 1:42:12SPEAKER_03: Definitely.
- 1:42:13SPEAKER_03: And I mean it was good though.
- 1:42:14SPEAKER_03: I mean that as a compliment.
- 1:42:15SPEAKER_03: I love niggas shit.
- 1:42:17SPEAKER_03: A lot of people don't.
- 1:42:18SPEAKER_03: A lot of black people don't.
- 1:42:19SPEAKER_03: They get offended by that word.
- 1:42:20SPEAKER_03: Nigga shit.
- 1:42:21SPEAKER_03: Nah.
- 1:42:22SPEAKER_03: They turn their nose up.
- 1:42:24SPEAKER_03: You can talk it to the mic too.
- 1:42:26SPEAKER_04: I think it's just niggas.
- 1:42:27SPEAKER_04: That's not nigga shit.
- 1:42:29SPEAKER_04: That's just niggas.
- 1:42:30SPEAKER_03: Alright, cool, cool, cool.
- 1:42:31SPEAKER_03: Um, now this is a topic, a Chubbs topic, and so it's gonna be a little like, you know, bear with me.
- 1:42:36SPEAKER_03: Um would you rather marry the first woman you ever slept with or work at the same or work at the first job you ever worked at, the same position you was, yeah, this nigga.
- 1:42:46SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:42:47SPEAKER_03: So basically, the same position.
- 1:42:49SPEAKER_03: What you mean?
- 1:42:50SPEAKER_03: So I guess he's saying, would you rather marry the first person you've ever slept with or work at the first job you ever had for eternity?
- 1:42:57SPEAKER_03: Like until you die.
- 1:42:58SPEAKER_03: What type of comparison is that?
- 1:43:00SPEAKER_03: You know, like when you really think about it.
- 1:43:02SPEAKER_03: I never would think I'd be in a situation where I had to choose between the two.
- 1:43:05SPEAKER_03: But you are now, yeah.
- 1:43:07SPEAKER_03: But I am now, so I have to answer it.
- 1:43:09SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:43:09SPEAKER_03: Uh and my bad.
- 1:43:11SPEAKER_03: I'll let you go first, guys.
- 1:43:12SPEAKER_03: This one's pretty easy for me, though.
- 1:43:14SPEAKER_03: This one's way too easy for me.
- 1:43:16SPEAKER_03: I mean I'ma ask why.
- 1:43:19SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna go with uh I know I know your answer, right.
- 1:43:21SPEAKER_03: Your girl in the room, bigger.
- 1:43:26SPEAKER_04: You know what?
- 1:43:26SPEAKER_04: You know what?
- 1:43:27SPEAKER_04: Give it given it given that perspective, yeah.
- 1:43:31SPEAKER_04: I think I worked the first job I ever worked with.
- 1:43:35SPEAKER_03: What job was this about?
- 1:43:36SPEAKER_04: I was about to say, bro.
- 1:43:38SPEAKER_04: Official job on the books?
- 1:43:39SPEAKER_04: Yep.
- 1:43:40SPEAKER_04: Oh man, I was a kiosk.
- 1:43:43SPEAKER_04: Um I worked at uh college, but I would I was I was working at one of the little kiosk stands, and it was like, hey, try out this new tablet, you know, and just just put it, fill in the service.
- 1:43:57SPEAKER_04: Hey man, if I still get to meet her, if I still get to meet her, fuck it.
- 1:44:00SPEAKER_04: I'll still do it.
- 1:44:01SPEAKER_04: I'll still do it for the rest of my life, you know.
- 1:44:05SPEAKER_03: Trying to get people to buy an iPad.
- 1:44:08SPEAKER_03: Come on, bro.
- 1:44:12SPEAKER_03: God damn it.
- 1:44:13SPEAKER_03: It's not supposed to do this.
- 1:44:15SPEAKER_03: You know what it is?
- 1:44:16SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna come home from work, baby.
- 1:44:18SPEAKER_04: No one wanted to touch my iPad today.
- 1:44:22SPEAKER_04: I knew it.
- 1:44:24SPEAKER_04: Why not?
- 1:44:24SPEAKER_04: Why not?
- 1:44:25SPEAKER_04: For you, I know.
- 1:44:26SPEAKER_03: I respect that.
- 1:44:27SPEAKER_03: I think that's a respectable answer.
- 1:44:28SPEAKER_03: You go you going next?
- 1:44:30SPEAKER_03: Yeah, hell yeah.
- 1:44:30SPEAKER_03: I'm definitely choosing marrying the first woman.
- 1:44:34SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:44:34SPEAKER_03: Why?
- 1:44:35SPEAKER_03: Honestly, bro, I really, really believe in progressing in life and like working at the same job for the rest of my life.
- 1:44:45SPEAKER_03: Yeah, same position probably would drive me insane.
- 1:44:48SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
- 1:44:50SPEAKER_03: Like, I'm telling you, I think I would lose my mind.
- 1:44:52SPEAKER_03: If I just know that this is it, you know, going any more.
- 1:44:58SPEAKER_03: I could have chosen the first woman I ever slept with or this, and I chose this shit.
- 1:45:01SPEAKER_03: This is it.
- 1:45:03SPEAKER_03: Oh my god, bro.
- 1:45:04SPEAKER_03: All right, and how about you, Emma?
- 1:45:06SPEAKER_03: I mean, we're gonna obviously not woman.
- 1:45:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah, well, the first person I ever was with was him.
- 1:45:11SPEAKER_00: So that makes it easy for me.
- 1:45:13SPEAKER_00: You know, so don't go with that answer.
- 1:45:24SPEAKER_02: That would have been crazy.
- 1:45:28SPEAKER_04: I imagine it follow your dreams, baby.
- 1:45:30SPEAKER_03: Follow your dream.
- 1:45:31SPEAKER_03: She actually did the opposite.
- 1:45:35SPEAKER_03: She's like, yo, you were so bad.
- 1:45:37SPEAKER_03: I'ma kill my dream.
- 1:45:40SPEAKER_03: But um, nah, um, for me personally, I'ma go with job.
- 1:45:43SPEAKER_03: And um I it's gonna sound a little crazy.
- 1:45:47SPEAKER_03: I don't even think I remember the first one.
- 1:45:51SPEAKER_03: That's number one.
- 1:45:52SPEAKER_03: Number two, my first job was at Chuck E.
- 1:45:55SPEAKER_03: Cheese.
- 1:45:56SPEAKER_03: Oh, so uh listen, how were you the mascot?
- 1:46:00SPEAKER_00: I didn't do that.
- 1:46:00SPEAKER_00: You had to do that, yeah.
- 1:46:02SPEAKER_03: Yeah, now that the mas the mascot's so skinny now, I can't fit the thing.
- 1:46:05SPEAKER_03: So now back in the day, that shit was for everybody.
- 1:46:08SPEAKER_03: And the rookies, especially.
- 1:46:09SPEAKER_03: I mean the rookies do that shit all the time.
- 1:46:10SPEAKER_03: That is funny.
- 1:46:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so like the only cool thing about Chucky Cheese, well, not the only cool thing, one of the cool things about Chuck E.
- 1:46:14SPEAKER_03: Cheese was that every day was new.
- 1:46:17SPEAKER_03: You get to put uh smiles on kids' faces in a positive way.
- 1:46:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so it was it was it was a dope job.
- 1:46:23SPEAKER_03: Like the on the reason why I truly left outside of the pay was um I was like getting like kind of like what you said about the kios thing.
- 1:46:31SPEAKER_03: Like all like I started that job in high school, and then by the time I was in college, all the people that was working with me were in high school.
- 1:46:37SPEAKER_03: I'm like, like I'm too mature for this job.
- 1:46:39SPEAKER_03: Like, there's a bunch of fucking high schoolers running around talking about their high school problems.
- 1:46:42SPEAKER_03: I'm a grown-ass man now.
- 1:46:43SPEAKER_03: I couldn't relate to none of them, so I was like, yo, let me get the fuck up out of here.
- 1:46:46SPEAKER_03: And then, you know, I I went to the YMCA and met, like, you know, my friends grew for the rest of my life.
- 1:46:52SPEAKER_03: So I met my brothers at the YMCA.
- 1:46:54SPEAKER_03: So, you know, I wouldn't have done that at Chuck E.
- 1:46:56SPEAKER_03: Cheese, but yeah, that first woman, I don't know.
- 1:46:59SPEAKER_03: That's me flipping a coin at this point.
- 1:47:01SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 1:47:01SPEAKER_03: Shout out that bitch.
- 1:47:03SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna I'm gonna go with Chuck E.
- 1:47:04SPEAKER_03: Cheese.
- 1:47:05SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's definitely.
- 1:47:06SPEAKER_04: I wish I wish I worked at the YMCA first, because right after the kiosk thing, I started working at the YMCA.
- 1:47:12SPEAKER_03: That was the that was the wild was a good job.
- 1:47:14SPEAKER_03: It was I was in the best physical shape of my life, and it if it was like my first like adult job, like I had a lot of responsibilities.
- 1:47:20SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:47:21SPEAKER_03: I just wish I was a little bit more mature, yeah.
- 1:47:24SPEAKER_03: Well, like how jobs work.
- 1:47:27SPEAKER_03: I gotta bring that.
- 1:47:28SPEAKER_03: If we just put our minds to it, we definitely could have been somebody's like supervisors.
- 1:47:32SPEAKER_04: Yeah, definitely.
- 1:47:33SPEAKER_04: I almost became one.
- 1:47:34SPEAKER_04: I said, nah, I ain't ready for that level of responsibility.
- 1:47:36SPEAKER_04: Then you was like the bleed it didn't count.
- 1:47:39SPEAKER_04: You was telling me what to do.
- 1:47:43SPEAKER_04: I was just like, hey man, you sure I think we gotta do this.
- 1:47:46SPEAKER_04: I I wasn't telling nobody.
- 1:47:48SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but that's only that's because you was my friend.
- 1:47:50SPEAKER_03: You didn't know how to do it.
- 1:47:51SPEAKER_04: I take it.
- 1:47:52SPEAKER_03: Well, like, but you definitely was telling me what to do.
- 1:47:54SPEAKER_03: Uh my fault, sorry.
- 1:47:58SPEAKER_03: I think that's a tough position to be in, like being a boss or supervisor over like not only your friends, but people that you came in with the same.
- 1:48:07SPEAKER_03: Because I see a little bit of that in my current job.
- 1:48:09SPEAKER_03: It's like there's a guy that he just recently got promoted to being a supervisor, and like when he's like trying to tell niggas like what to do, they be looking at him also like thinking we got hired here at the same time.
- 1:48:17SPEAKER_03: Like, and it's like you you kind of it's like catch 22.
- 1:48:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:48:21SPEAKER_03: Like the boss that gave him that position is looking at him like, yo, I gave you this position for a reason.
- 1:48:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you should be able to pull rank and get these guys in line because there's no reason people should be going over your head to come talk to me.
- 1:48:33SPEAKER_03: That's the whole point of us having to.
- 1:48:34SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:48:35SPEAKER_03: It's fucked up seeing him like struggle with that.
- 1:48:37SPEAKER_03: And like, you know, like even like with business, like I've been in business with my friends for like the last decade.
- 1:48:42SPEAKER_03: Like certain conversations are a little bit more uncomfortable to have.
- 1:48:44SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:48:45SPEAKER_03: Because they're your friends.
- 1:48:46SPEAKER_03: Like, you're not trying to hurt your friends' feeling when he sucks at his job.
- 1:48:48SPEAKER_03: Like, it's a hilarious story.
- 1:48:50SPEAKER_03: We threw a party one time, and like one of our you know, friends slash, you know, yeah, yeah, business guy, he didn't show up to the party.
- 1:48:58SPEAKER_03: And like we asked him, like, why you didn't show up?
- 1:49:01SPEAKER_03: He's like, Oh, it was too unorganized.
- 1:49:02SPEAKER_03: I looked around, I was like, nigga, that's your job.
- 1:49:04SPEAKER_03: It's to make it organized.
- 1:49:05SPEAKER_03: Like the party is also yours.
- 1:49:06SPEAKER_03: And it's like, if he wasn't my friend, I would have told him to kick rock.
- 1:49:09SPEAKER_03: Like, fuck you.
- 1:49:10SPEAKER_03: Like, I don't want to be a businessman nigga like you no more.
- 1:49:12SPEAKER_03: Because he's my friend, I kind of had to like laugh it off.
- 1:49:14SPEAKER_03: Like, hey, uh, buddy, you could have helped us organize it.
- 1:49:17SPEAKER_03: Uh-huh.
- 1:49:18SPEAKER_03: Like, yeah, so it's it's tough.
- 1:49:20SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 1:49:20SPEAKER_04: It's definitely tough.
- 1:49:22SPEAKER_04: This is to speak on that, it's just like even being even being under that position, you know what it is.
- 1:49:29SPEAKER_04: It's like, um, like you said, when someone's trying to boss you around, it's like some people that's in that position, they have like a power trip.
- 1:49:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:49:37SPEAKER_04: You know, and it's like, yeah, I'm I'm pulling rank over you, so you have to do this, you know.
- 1:49:43SPEAKER_04: And it's like, I understand, like me, me personally, because this is like I want to say this is the second job I've been at where like I got in because of a friend, but they still pull rank over me, you know?
- 1:49:58SPEAKER_04: And it's like nah.
- 1:50:00SPEAKER_04: You're gonna do whatever the hell I tell you to do.
- 1:50:03SPEAKER_04: But at the same time, like I'm a I'm a smart person, you know, I'm capable.
- 1:50:07SPEAKER_04: I understand at the end of the day, like, yo, this is the job that we have to do.
- 1:50:13SPEAKER_04: But at the same time, don't don't have me do something because you just want me to do it.
- 1:50:18SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:50:18SPEAKER_04: You know, don't don't have me do something because you have the authority to do it.
- 1:50:24SPEAKER_04: Like, if it makes sense to the job and you want me to do something, I have no problem with following orders, you know?
- 1:50:29SPEAKER_04: But it's like you can't sit here and just try to just try to pull rank on me.
- 1:50:35SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 1:50:35SPEAKER_03: You know, and that's that's that's another that's another we we uh we asked this uh question before, but you guys weren't here, obviously.
- 1:50:42SPEAKER_03: How would you feel if your girl was your boss?
- 1:50:46SPEAKER_03: It's lit.
- 1:50:48SPEAKER_03: Thank you.
- 1:50:48SPEAKER_03: I think you had the same type of time I'm in.
- 1:50:50SPEAKER_03: It's lit.
- 1:50:51SPEAKER_03: It's lit.
- 1:50:52SPEAKER_03: Until like you have a fight that morning.
- 1:50:54SPEAKER_03: Now y'all gotta clock in.
- 1:50:56SPEAKER_04: Hey, at the same time, man.
- 1:50:58SPEAKER_04: You was late.
- 1:50:59SPEAKER_04: I was I I was late because my boss didn't drop it away.
- 1:51:03SPEAKER_03: Y'all got into a fight.
- 1:51:04SPEAKER_03: You also showed up to work late, huh?
- 1:51:07SPEAKER_03: And she gotta make an example of you.
- 1:51:09SPEAKER_04: So, all right, so this is this is this is how I feel, right?
- 1:51:13SPEAKER_04: If you're in a relationship and like your girl or your significant other, but nah, if you if you're in a relationship, but if you're in a relationship and like they're your boss, you still, I don't think you should bring like your outside life into the workplace.
- 1:51:36SPEAKER_04: Yes, you know.
- 1:51:37SPEAKER_04: I know it's hard, it's easier said than done, but it's like just because we had a fight, I shouldn't be showing up to work late, you know, and messing up a business, you know?
- 1:51:50SPEAKER_04: Like I'm I'm not gonna, I'm not just the same way that I don't want you messing with my money, I shouldn't be messing with your money.
- 1:51:57SPEAKER_03: All right, enough of you nigga.
- 1:51:59SPEAKER_03: He was your boss.
- 1:52:01SPEAKER_03: How do you think that would like work?
- 1:52:02SPEAKER_00: I I would actually have to agree with um him, you know.
- 1:52:05SPEAKER_00: Um for me personally, like business is business, you know what I mean?
- 1:52:08SPEAKER_00: And like I'm not gonna jeopardize a like like I said, like a company just you know, because I had a fight with him like midway before.
- 1:52:17SPEAKER_00: That's personal.
- 1:52:18SPEAKER_00: And for me personally, I know how to take the whole things and separate those things.
- 1:52:21SPEAKER_00: It is hard to do, but it is something that you have to do, especially if you want the business to go well.
- 1:52:26SPEAKER_00: And I understand that if he's the boss, he's in charge of everything and I'm coming in late or doing whatever.
- 1:52:31SPEAKER_00: I I shouldn't be doing that.
- 1:52:32SPEAKER_00: It's it's childish, honestly.
- 1:52:33SPEAKER_00: It's it's immature.
- 1:52:34SPEAKER_00: And when it comes down to real, real shit, especially over like real communication between the both of us, we should know, hey, we yes, we had a fight, but we're gonna take care of that when we get home.
- 1:52:44SPEAKER_00: We ain't gonna do that in public.
- 1:52:45SPEAKER_00: We ain't gonna do that during the public.
- 1:52:50SPEAKER_03: If my girl is the boss, I'm the boss.
- 1:52:55SPEAKER_03: That's the shit I like to do.
- 1:52:58SPEAKER_03: I wear the pants though.
- 1:53:00SPEAKER_03: Uh-oh.
- 1:53:01SPEAKER_04: Hey man.
- 1:53:05SPEAKER_04: I was able to dance because she said I could.
- 1:53:07SPEAKER_05: I there's nothing wrong with permission.
- 1:53:12SPEAKER_03: What about you?
- 1:53:13SPEAKER_03: Let me answer that question.
- 1:53:15SPEAKER_03: We already did it.
- 1:53:17SPEAKER_03: I don't want to talk about it.
- 1:53:18SPEAKER_03: I don't remember.
- 1:53:20SPEAKER_03: I don't remember.
- 1:53:22SPEAKER_03: But um, yeah, that's dope.
- 1:53:23SPEAKER_03: I appreciate y'all for sharing that.
- 1:53:25SPEAKER_03: Um, so we have another topic here.
- 1:53:26SPEAKER_03: It's a little bit more serious, just to bring us down a little bit.
- 1:53:28SPEAKER_03: Um, are you guys familiar with Tahiri and Joe Button?
- 1:53:32SPEAKER_03: Tahiri and Joe Buddha?
- 1:53:33SPEAKER_03: You're probably not.
- 1:53:33SPEAKER_03: You mean Tah Taraj?
- 1:53:35SPEAKER_03: Stop.
- 1:53:36SPEAKER_03: He said the name differently.
- 1:53:40SPEAKER_03: Close.
- 1:53:41SPEAKER_03: Are you familiar?
- 1:53:42SPEAKER_00: Kind of.
- 1:53:42SPEAKER_03: Okay, so I'll give you some backstory.
- 1:53:44SPEAKER_03: So obviously, recently, Diddy has been in the news for, you know, abusing cats.
- 1:53:48SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:53:48SPEAKER_03: We've all seen it.
- 1:53:49SPEAKER_03: It was disgusting.
- 1:53:50SPEAKER_03: It was, yeah.
- 1:53:51SPEAKER_03: And um, Joe Budden has, you know, spoken up on it.
- 1:53:54SPEAKER_03: And the the fact that he spoke up on it so late, because he waited an episode.
- 1:53:58SPEAKER_03: Like he has a pocket.
- 1:53:59SPEAKER_03: So he waited an episode to speak on it.
- 1:54:00SPEAKER_03: People started shitting on him for that, because it's like, dog, like we get it.
- 1:54:03SPEAKER_03: Diddy's like your man, like did like he was really close with Diddy ever since he got like famous, like like re-famous.
- 1:54:10SPEAKER_03: So people were like saying, Oh, you can't talk about this because it's your man.
- 1:54:12SPEAKER_03: He finally spoke on it.
- 1:54:14SPEAKER_03: When he finally spoke on it though, to hear he started speaking up like you're a hypocrite because you're shitting on Diddy.
- 1:54:20SPEAKER_03: And like, I remember a time you threw me down the fucking flight of stairs.
- 1:54:24SPEAKER_03: And Joe Budden, not for nothing, has a very I'ma say colored history when it comes to the women that he's dated.
- 1:54:32SPEAKER_03: No, that's true.
- 1:54:32SPEAKER_03: They all kind of like the most famous case is this lady named Esther Baxter.
- 1:54:37SPEAKER_03: Well, she was a model, that's what she was.
- 1:54:39SPEAKER_03: And she had like a miscarriage because according to her, he sat on her stomach for like three hours, and then she had a miscarriage.
- 1:54:46SPEAKER_03: And then according to him, he didn't sit.
- 1:54:47SPEAKER_03: This is the craziest shit I've heard.
- 1:54:49SPEAKER_03: Nah, what do you say?
- 1:54:50SPEAKER_03: This is the craziest shit I ever heard in my life.
- 1:54:52SPEAKER_03: He said he didn't sit on her stomach.
- 1:54:54SPEAKER_03: He said he sat underneath her breath.
- 1:54:56SPEAKER_03: Where is underneath her breast?
- 1:54:58SPEAKER_04: Like somewhere in the stern of Mary.
- 1:55:02SPEAKER_03: Like, how you sitting over there?
- 1:55:03SPEAKER_03: How you sitting over there?
- 1:55:05SPEAKER_03: Why you sitting on her?
- 1:55:07SPEAKER_03: Nah, in his defense, and I'm not gonna defend him because I think these allegations are nasty, and he's a rival.
- 1:55:13SPEAKER_03: Oh, fuck that nigga.
- 1:55:14SPEAKER_03: But um, yeah, he's a podcaster, so you know.
- 1:55:17SPEAKER_03: But he whatever.
- 1:55:18SPEAKER_03: So um, in his defense, he was saying that sh they were getting she was getting physical with him.
- 1:55:23SPEAKER_03: And to stop the physicality, he just sat her down and he put his body weight on a pregnant woman.
- 1:55:28SPEAKER_03: So above above her breast.
- 1:55:30SPEAKER_03: I mean below her breast, whatever, whatever area that is.
- 1:55:33SPEAKER_03: So with all of these things, you know, he had another one, Kaylin Garcia, she alleged things.
- 1:55:37SPEAKER_03: Uh Santana, the most recent one, they broke up, she has alleged things.
- 1:55:42SPEAKER_03: So he has a lot of this shit on his jacket about abusing women, and to hear he was like his longest relationship, she came out and said, like, nigga, you're a hypocrite.
- 1:55:51SPEAKER_03: And the question is, are you allowed to critique a crime or uh uh accusation if you also have those same things on your jacket?
- 1:56:01SPEAKER_01: How do y'all feel about that?
- 1:56:05SPEAKER_04: Um I want to uh if you want, um I don't think you can sit here and um you can point fingers or say something about other things when you yourself have done it, you know.
- 1:56:21SPEAKER_04: Um at the same time, it's like it's like speaking on something that you've been through personally.
- 1:56:29SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 1:56:29SPEAKER_04: You know, I feel like if you've also if you've been through it, then maybe you are one of the people to talk about it, you know, like you should be the person to talk about it.
- 1:56:41SPEAKER_04: But at the same time, you can't you can't sit here and say, nah, this person is wrong when you yourself has done it.
- 1:56:49SPEAKER_04: You know, you can't sit here and say, nah, that person, he's wrong for doing it, you know, he's he's done it and and try to remain yourself blameless.
- 1:56:58SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:56:58SPEAKER_04: You know, I think that's I think that's where it like really comes from, you know?
- 1:57:02SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 1:57:02SPEAKER_04: Like you can't sit here and say, Oh, P Diddy, wildin' for beating up women, and then just go around and start sitting on them and doing the same shit.
- 1:57:12SPEAKER_04: It's fucked up.
- 1:57:13SPEAKER_03: So from a woman's perspective, do you think that a man like just just to play devil's advocate, right?
- 1:57:20SPEAKER_03: Listen, I used to be bitches up.
- 1:57:22SPEAKER_03: I don't beat bitches up anymore.
- 1:57:24SPEAKER_03: And what you're doing is wrong, Diddy, because I've been there, I did that, and I know like what that leads to.
- 1:57:30SPEAKER_03: Like somebody could die, some miscarriage can happen.
- 1:57:32SPEAKER_03: So is it like i is he the wrong messenger or like should he be the perfect person to be gone?
- 1:57:40SPEAKER_00: I think it could go both ways, you know what I'm saying?
- 1:57:42SPEAKER_00: Especially it it could be the perfect person because since he'd been through it himself and then he's not doing it anymore, it could be seen as all right, well I know what it's like, let me help you with that.
- 1:57:53SPEAKER_00: You know what I'm saying?
- 1:57:54SPEAKER_00: It's like more relatable in that way.
- 1:57:55SPEAKER_00: But then it it also could be bad because like like like uh Tahiri, her name is it um said, like, you know, you say he's a hypocrite, yeah, that's right, too, because he has done it in the past.
- 1:58:05SPEAKER_00: And if he actually is being honest and saying, Yeah, I did do this, yeah, then it it could go both ways.
- 1:58:10SPEAKER_00: He's not crazy.
- 1:58:11SPEAKER_00: But that's the thing.
- 1:58:12SPEAKER_00: If he's not doing it and he's sitting here like, no, I'm not doing that, he's a hypocrite then.
- 1:58:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know what I'm saying?
- 1:58:16SPEAKER_03: He literally like called her a washed up old, yeah, like begging for money Dominican chick on the back.
- 1:58:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's exactly what he does.
- 1:58:23SPEAKER_03: He went crazy on her, and then he was like, The last time I even seen you, I bought a mattress off you.
- 1:58:27SPEAKER_03: Oh hell.
- 1:58:28SPEAKER_03: So I was like, Why you didn't have no smoke for me when I was buying a mattress off of you?
- 1:58:31SPEAKER_03: Why you buying a mattress off of you?
- 1:58:33SPEAKER_03: That's fucking crazy.
- 1:58:34SPEAKER_03: But maybe she was selling mattresses.
- 1:58:35SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 1:58:36SPEAKER_03: Support the business, yeah.
- 1:58:38SPEAKER_03: And his current girl came out, and she was like, like the the person that y'all are describing, I've never experienced that.
- 1:58:44SPEAKER_03: This man, yeah, this man has never even raised his voice at me.
- 1:58:47SPEAKER_03: But let me give you some context.
- 1:58:49SPEAKER_03: His current girl is an OnlyFans model, and he's obviously supporting her like that.
- 1:58:54SPEAKER_03: So I'm not saying she can't be telling the truth.
- 1:58:56SPEAKER_03: But you don't bite the hand that feeds you.
- 1:58:58SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:58:58SPEAKER_03: And everything is gravy when you win a nigga.
- 1:59:00SPEAKER_03: Like, that's how it works.
- 1:59:01SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:59:02SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 1:59:02SPEAKER_03: It's a nasty situation all around, uh tune.
- 1:59:06SPEAKER_03: Um I'm kind of like 50-50 with it because you know, unf I wouldn't say unfortunately, but Joe Burton is uh a person in media.
- 1:59:14SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:59:14SPEAKER_03: So like he has to speak on these things, whether he's guilty of the allegations or not.
- 1:59:20SPEAKER_03: But I do think, like what Kev was saying, it's definitely a line of like you can't sit there and say this guy is like evil.
- 1:59:28SPEAKER_03: He OD on did it.
- 1:59:29SPEAKER_03: I didn't I honestly I didn't get to watch it.
- 1:59:31SPEAKER_03: I didn't get to watch it, but I definitely saw it to Harry's response, and it was like three long-ass tweet type shits.
- 1:59:38SPEAKER_03: And I was like, yeah, nah, honestly, I do agree with the whole if you're guilty of something or if you have these same allegations on you, you can speak on it because you're in media, but there has to be some line that you can't sit here and be like, I'm like, I'm innocent.
- 1:59:56SPEAKER_03: So let me let me uh progress the conversation a little bit.
- 1:59:58SPEAKER_03: So now people start attacking his co-hop.
- 2:00:00SPEAKER_03: Like, how yeah, I did see that.
- 2:00:02SPEAKER_03: How y'all sitting up there with an abuser?
- 2:00:06SPEAKER_03: And their response is, well, I don't think he's an abuser.
- 2:00:12SPEAKER_03: I never seen it.
- 2:00:15SPEAKER_03: But does that make it true?
- 2:00:18SPEAKER_03: So, like, let's let me flip it.
- 2:00:20SPEAKER_03: I'm a drunk driver.
- 2:00:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah, not really.
- 2:00:22SPEAKER_03: But I'm a drunk driver and I kill somebody via I can't talk today.
- 2:00:26SPEAKER_03: Homicide with a car.
- 2:00:29SPEAKER_03: That's two.
- 2:00:31SPEAKER_03: That's two for sure.
- 2:00:32SPEAKER_03: I can't talk today.
- 2:00:32SPEAKER_03: I don't know what's going on.
- 2:00:34SPEAKER_03: But uh, yeah, so I kill somebody, and um, I come on this podcast, and I start talking about how like yo, drinking and driving is wrong and killing people.
- 2:00:42SPEAKER_03: Yeah, how would y'all look at me?
- 2:00:44SPEAKER_03: You know what I'm saying?
- 2:00:45SPEAKER_03: Yeah, like what are you supposed to do?
- 2:00:47SPEAKER_03: I would definitely lose respect for you as a person, but I I do understand that this is something like, especially if we if we start making money or when we start making money.
- 2:00:56SPEAKER_03: This is paying your bills.
- 2:00:57SPEAKER_03: Yeah, this is the business.
- 2:00:58SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 2:00:58SPEAKER_03: So I'm not gonna always respect the person I work with.
- 2:01:02SPEAKER_03: It's unfortunately that you're my friend, yeah, and that it's probably gonna hurt me a little bit more because like somebody I I love and I respect, I no longer respect them.
- 2:01:09SPEAKER_03: But at the end of the day, I think you have to be real with especially your audience to be like, yeah, you know, if these are actually I I Alex Z uh Alexander's rubbing off.
- 2:01:30SPEAKER_03: But anyway, if whatever I'm being accused of uh yeah, if if if you're being accused of these things and you're standing next to this person or vice versa, I think it's cool for you to be like, you know what?
- 2:01:44SPEAKER_03: That's what happened, that's what's going on.
- 2:01:46SPEAKER_03: And then yeah, but we work together, we're co-workers.
- 2:01:49SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's the same thing.
- 2:01:51SPEAKER_03: Oh no, yeah, that's your butt.
- 2:01:53SPEAKER_04: I don't care if it's a man's or not.
- 2:01:54SPEAKER_04: If he's coming on the if you come on the podcast, you speak to the mic.
- 2:01:59SPEAKER_04: Sorry, I don't think you're doing that.
- 2:02:01SPEAKER_04: You speaking to the mic.
- 2:02:03SPEAKER_04: But like if you came on the if you came on the podcast sitting here like, yo, drinking and driving is bad.
- 2:02:09SPEAKER_04: You should never do it, all right?
- 2:02:11SPEAKER_04: And don't ever be like, like if you sit here and say, don't be like me.
- 2:02:14SPEAKER_04: I mean, I'm saying I never did it.
- 2:02:16SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and don't don't don't don't be stupid.
- 2:02:18SPEAKER_04: I I ain't never do it, you know.
- 2:02:20SPEAKER_04: Like if you sitting there doing that, that's crazy.
- 2:02:22SPEAKER_04: We can't sit here and and and be like that.
- 2:02:25SPEAKER_03: Let me give you the whole thing though.
- 2:02:26SPEAKER_03: I'm telling y'all off air.
- 2:02:28SPEAKER_03: Number one, it's my podcast.
- 2:02:30SPEAKER_03: I'm paying y'all.
- 2:02:32SPEAKER_03: And like I'm like, oh nah, we not talking like when we get on this mic, if y'all niggas act funny about me killing somebody in the car, like yeah, I'm cutting your water off.
- 2:02:41SPEAKER_03: I ain't gonna lie.
- 2:02:46SPEAKER_03: And it's sad, but it's just like my family's supposed to struggle because I gotta be real for the rest of the world that it's not gonna chip in on my bills because I decided to leave the only job that was, you know, you know what it is.
- 2:03:00SPEAKER_03: Some people say it's a principal thing.
- 2:03:02SPEAKER_03: Nah, I feel it's gonna work, man.
- 2:03:04SPEAKER_04: It's not even a principle thing.
- 2:03:07SPEAKER_04: It's not even a principle thing.
- 2:03:08SPEAKER_04: What it is is everyone else is trying to push their agendas on you, you know.
- 2:03:13SPEAKER_04: Like, yeah, everybody, everybody that works with him, they probably know he's done all those things in the past, all right?
- 2:03:20SPEAKER_04: Everybody that knows him knows he's done all those things in the past, all right?
- 2:03:24SPEAKER_04: And now it's like the people that's just finding out, how are you still working with this person, man?
- 2:03:29SPEAKER_04: What's wrong with you?
- 2:03:30SPEAKER_04: You should be canceling him, you shouldn't be talking to him, you shouldn't be doing that, this, that, and the third.
- 2:03:35SPEAKER_04: That's their agenda being pushed on the co-hosts.
- 2:03:38SPEAKER_04: Because if they getting mad at the co-host, why aren't they they they mad at this dude, but now they more mad at the people that's working with him.
- 2:03:45SPEAKER_04: That's them pushing their agenda on everyone else.
- 2:03:47SPEAKER_04: You know, they no longer just mad at him.
- 2:03:49SPEAKER_04: They they trying to they trying to ruin everyone else's life that's around him.
- 2:03:55SPEAKER_03: I think it's it's definitely tough because there's some things like you gotta stand on.
- 2:04:00SPEAKER_03: Domestic violence.
- 2:04:01SPEAKER_03: I think because domestic violence is such like a visceral thing, like you see a woman like getting her ass beat, and then you're gonna sit on a couch with a nigga that you works both.
- 2:04:10SPEAKER_03: No, it definitely does work both.
- 2:04:11SPEAKER_03: And that's his defense all the time, is that you gotta understand, like, Tahiri's my side.
- 2:04:15SPEAKER_03: Like, that's like shit he be saying.
- 2:04:16SPEAKER_03: Like, we we was fighting.
- 2:04:17SPEAKER_03: I wasn't beating her ass.
- 2:04:19SPEAKER_03: And then on top of that, he's just not admitting to it, beating her ass.
- 2:04:22SPEAKER_03: Oh, he's starting, he's like, I don't know what this bitch is talking about.
- 2:04:25SPEAKER_04: So, like even even even in the sense of fighting, you know, y'all going hand in hand, you know.
- 2:04:31SPEAKER_04: I I don't even think I I can't I can't even look at that.
- 2:04:35SPEAKER_04: You can you can't use that as a defense.
- 2:04:37SPEAKER_04: You get you it's a woman.
- 2:04:38SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you can't use that as a defense.
- 2:04:40SPEAKER_04: As as messed up as it sounds, you know, you can't sit here and say you can't sit here and say, you know, putting the hands on a woman is right, you know, but putting the putting your hands on anybody, you know, is right.
- 2:04:53SPEAKER_04: I follow I follow my idol whoopee gold bird, you know, just don't hit each other.
- 2:04:58SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you know, don't just y'all shouldn't be y'all shouldn't be placing hands on one.
- 2:05:03SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 2:05:04SPEAKER_04: It's a whole sad thing.
- 2:05:05SPEAKER_04: It's crazy.
- 2:05:06SPEAKER_03: Thoughts and prayers to everybody involved.
- 2:05:08SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I don't know.
- 2:05:09SPEAKER_03: I think I think it's it's it's when the money is involved.
- 2:05:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's the problem.
- 2:05:15SPEAKER_03: You want somebody to not feed their family over something another person did.
- 2:05:20SPEAKER_03: It's not like going straight.
- 2:05:23SPEAKER_03: Some of y'all niggas.
- 2:05:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah, like what the fuck?
- 2:05:24SPEAKER_03: Like, some of y'all niggas work for companies that are fucking bombing like little villages somewhere.
- 2:05:30SPEAKER_03: Like, we all just not gonna go to work because America's fucking around.
