- 0:00Speaker 1: By from Midtown Manhattan. Here comes the Mark Simone Show
- 0:05Speaker 1: on seven to ten wo R.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Well, the mayoral race. We'll give you all the latest,
- 0:13Speaker 2: all the latest polling information, all the latest info coming
- 0:16Speaker 2: up in just a second. We'll get to the World
- 0:18Speaker 2: Series last night. We'll get to Joe Biden. There's a
- 0:22Speaker 2: new report coming out about how really bad he was.
- 0:25Speaker 2: At the end, we'll get to the president's trip to Asia.
- 0:29Speaker 2: It's a pretty amazing trip. We'll get to a ballroom
- 0:32Speaker 2: derangement syndrome and more. Don't forget this is the last
- 0:36Speaker 2: week of daylight saving time, starting Sunday. It's going to
- 0:40Speaker 2: be dark out five point fifteen, five point thirty. It's
- 0:44Speaker 2: just terrible. It takes a lot of getting used to.
- 0:47Speaker 2: So where do we stand in the mayle race. Well,
- 0:50Speaker 2: it doesn't look good, mom, Donnie maintains a pretty comfortable lead.
- 0:55Speaker 2: And well, i'll give you the latest poll, the latest poll.
- 1:00Speaker 2: And again, these are not great polls. These are these
- 1:02Speaker 2: college polls which don't mean much of anything. But the
- 1:06Speaker 2: latest one, the latest college poll shows Andrew Cuomo ten
- 1:11Speaker 2: points behind. Now there was a previous poll. Again, these
- 1:14Speaker 2: are all junk polls, but it showed him twenty points behind.
- 1:18Speaker 2: So you know you're in real trouble when you're cheering
- 1:22Speaker 2: that you rose up to only ten points behind. Ten
- 1:24Speaker 2: points behind is still ten points behind. Now, what's interesting
- 1:28Speaker 2: in this poll is if Sleewood dropped out, we don't
- 1:34Speaker 2: think Curtis needs to drop out second to solve Cuomo's problems.
- 1:38Speaker 2: His unlikeability, his terrible track record as governor turned off
- 1:42Speaker 2: a lot of people. That's why he's been just stumbling
- 1:46Speaker 2: through this campaign. You know, in the had he not
- 1:49Speaker 2: been in the primary, we might be in a different place.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Had he stayed out of this, Eric Adams would have
- 1:55Speaker 2: run in the Democratic primary, and who knows, he might
- 1:57Speaker 2: have had a much better shot at beating Mom in
- 2:00Speaker 2: the primary. We know one thing that Cuomo absolutely screwed
- 2:05Speaker 2: up in the primaries. He got killed in both debates.
- 2:08Speaker 2: He lost by a lot in the primary, had nothing
- 2:11Speaker 2: to do with the wrong choice. He lost by a
- 2:13Speaker 2: lot in the popular vote, and because of him, we
- 2:16Speaker 2: got Mam Donni as the Democratic nominee. Maybe Eric Adams
- 2:20Speaker 2: could have stopped him had there been no Cuomo. But
- 2:23Speaker 2: and if Cuomo got out of the race, there is
- 2:25Speaker 2: one poll that came out on Friday. The only poll
- 2:29Speaker 2: that at that time was after the debates that showed
- 2:32Speaker 2: Curtis would do better against mam Donni, then Cuomo would
- 2:36Speaker 2: by two points if it were a two man race.
- 2:39Speaker 2: But here's the latest in this poll. If Curtis were
- 2:42Speaker 2: to drop out, now, Cuomo in the latest poll ten
- 2:45Speaker 2: points behind. It's mam Donni forty four percent Cuomo thirty
- 2:49Speaker 2: four percent. So Mam Donni has a ten point lead
- 2:53Speaker 2: now in this polling in all the data, if you
- 2:55Speaker 2: go through it, if Curtis were to drop out, only
- 2:58Speaker 2: thirty six percent of his votes would go to Cuomo,
- 3:01Speaker 2: and they'd surveyed these people pretty carefully, so out of
- 3:04Speaker 2: the Curtis ye wild vote, if he dropped out, Cuomo
- 3:07Speaker 2: would only get thirty six percent of that vote, which
- 3:10Speaker 2: would give him another four percent. So what that means
- 3:14Speaker 2: is if if Curtis were out of the race in
- 3:16Speaker 2: this poll, it would be mam Donni forty four percent
- 3:20Speaker 2: Cuomo thirty eight percent. So still not good. The only
- 3:24Speaker 2: thing that could change all of this is massive turnout,
- 3:29Speaker 2: and it looks like we're getting that so far. Turnout
- 3:32Speaker 2: in the early voting, which is now three days. This
- 3:34Speaker 2: will be day four. Early voting is almost five hundred
- 3:39Speaker 2: percent above normal, above the last few elections. So if
- 3:44Speaker 2: there's massive turnout, that could change things, and that depends
- 3:47Speaker 2: who turns out. It could be you know, these crazy
- 3:50Speaker 2: twenty somethings who love Mom Donni. But pole watchers are
- 3:55Speaker 2: saying it looks like boomers gen xers are dominating. That's
- 4:00Speaker 2: people over fifty and they generally don't go for Mom Donnie.
- 4:04Speaker 2: So in fact, some poll watchers are saying they believe
- 4:08Speaker 2: sixty six h sixty percent of the ballots people over fifty,
- 4:13Speaker 2: So that could be a help to Cuomo or Curtis.
- 4:18Speaker 2: So we're up to about three three hundred and fifty
- 4:21Speaker 2: thousand voters so far, So if that continues, we're on
- 4:26Speaker 2: track to get record, you know, close to two million votes,
- 4:30Speaker 2: which is extremely high turnout. That's how Giuliani beat Dinkins,
- 4:34Speaker 2: very very high turnout. Republicans have won five of the
- 4:37Speaker 2: last eight mayoral elections, but it requires extremely high turnout
- 4:44Speaker 2: to do it. Now, you could argue, some will argue, well,
- 4:47Speaker 2: you can't count Bloomberg because he spent something like one
- 4:50Speaker 2: hundred million of his own money for a huge turnout operation. Yeah,
- 4:54Speaker 2: maybe but Republicans can win. So Mam Donnie caught in
- 5:00Speaker 2: a huge lie. Now everybody's waiting to see if this
- 5:02Speaker 2: is a big factor. We don't know how many people
- 5:04Speaker 2: are watching this, paying attention to this, how focused they
- 5:08Speaker 2: are on this incident. But Mamdanie got caught in a
- 5:11Speaker 2: huge lie. He told the story about his aunt after
- 5:15Speaker 2: nine to eleven. She had problems riding the subway because
- 5:18Speaker 2: she wore the Muslim garb and she would get stairs,
- 5:22Speaker 2: and who knows what else, but this poor aunt to
- 5:25Speaker 2: his on the subway in New York right after nine
- 5:28Speaker 2: to eleven, how tough it was. He told this tear
- 5:30Speaker 2: jerking story. People checked his aunt wasn't in New York
- 5:35Speaker 2: after nine to eleven. She lived ten thousand miles away
- 5:39Speaker 2: in another continent. She wasn't here. And then it turns
- 5:43Speaker 2: out his aunt never wears a he job, never wears
- 5:46Speaker 2: any Muslim garb, just looks like anybody else on the subway.
- 5:50Speaker 2: So a major, major lie. Now this is all proven, detailed,
- 5:55Speaker 2: that he out and out lied about this aunt. He
- 5:58Speaker 2: had to confess yesterday. So he confessed that all of
- 6:03Speaker 2: this is true. It wasn't his aunt. But then he
- 6:05Speaker 2: made up a whole other story. Well, it wasn't his aunt,
- 6:08Speaker 2: it was a very distant cousin of his father. Well
- 6:13Speaker 2: who is it, Well she's dead, So it sounds like
- 6:18Speaker 2: a convenient excuse that there's a very distant relative who's dead.
- 6:22Speaker 2: And generally you know who your aunt is and you
- 6:25Speaker 2: don't confuse them with any very distant relative of your father.
- 6:29Speaker 2: So it's clearly a total out and out lie, absolute lie.
- 6:34Speaker 2: And then this whole thing about the Muslim discrimination having
- 6:39Speaker 2: a problem in being in New York being Muslim, it's
- 6:42Speaker 2: kind of ridiculous. It's a huge Muslim population in New York.
- 6:45Speaker 2: It's eleven percent. The Jewish population is also eleven percent,
- 6:49Speaker 2: so they're pretty much equal. The Jewish population and the
- 6:52Speaker 2: Muslim population are equal. They're both eleven percent. And if
- 6:56Speaker 2: you check with the police, there's no reports of anti
- 6:58Speaker 2: Muslim attacks. But if you check with the police, there's
- 7:02Speaker 2: thousands and thousands of report of anti Jewish, anti Semitic attacks.
- 7:07Speaker 2: I don't have to tell you've heard about millions of them.
- 7:09Speaker 2: There's thousands of incidents of that. No incidents with the
- 7:12Speaker 2: New York City Police of any anti Muslim activity. So
- 7:15Speaker 2: the whole thing is a complete fake, ridiculous issue that
- 7:19Speaker 2: he's been using. Now, Cuomo, he's been looking better. He
- 7:24Speaker 2: was good in the debate, the last debate, he thinks,
- 7:28Speaker 2: and that really just was horrible. In the two primary debates,
- 7:32Speaker 2: first general election debate, he was bad. People think he
- 7:36Speaker 2: got injected in one of those Joe Biden injections to
- 7:38Speaker 2: give him some energy, wake him up. He was pretty
- 7:40Speaker 2: good in the last debate. Again, it's all about turnout.
- 7:46Speaker 3: In the primary. The turnout was totally different than they thought,
- 7:51Speaker 3: much younger, and the younger vote was a much higher percentage,
- 7:56Speaker 3: and that skewed all the polls.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Yeah, Now, public polls are just junk. They're really flamency
- 8:02Speaker 2: poles in private campaigns usually spend a fortune and get
- 8:07Speaker 2: the real serious polling companies to come in and do
- 8:10Speaker 2: of deadly accurate polls. Now Cuomo hasn't done that. Curtis
- 8:13Speaker 2: hasn't done that. We think Mamdani has and people are
- 8:16Speaker 2: noticing he's running a ton of TV ads, a ton
- 8:19Speaker 2: of social media ads, a lot of advertising, a lot
- 8:22Speaker 2: of commercials. They're pretty much not attacking Cuomo in them.
- 8:25Speaker 2: They're about affordability, but they're not Cuomo attack ads. That
- 8:29Speaker 2: would indicate that in his data he's not seeing a
- 8:32Speaker 2: big problem from Cuomo. If Cuomo were really getting close,
- 8:36Speaker 2: you'd see him run attack ads like crazy. So far
- 8:38Speaker 2: he has not done that. He still keeps talking about
- 8:40Speaker 2: affordability too often.
- 8:41Speaker 4: We think of affordability as a young person's problem of
- 8:43Speaker 4: whether you can build a life here. But there's so
- 8:45Speaker 4: many who are asking themselves whether they can keep a
- 8:47Speaker 4: life here.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Yeah. So and again, if affordability is the problem, if
- 8:54Speaker 2: this is a crisis housing affordability, if it's a disaster
- 8:58Speaker 2: here in New York, well that would be the Democrat's
- 9:00Speaker 2: fault because they've controlled every inch of New York government
- 9:03Speaker 2: for fifteen years, Democrat mayor, Democrat governor, Democrat City Council,
- 9:08Speaker 2: Democrat Legislature, both houses. So if affordability is such a crisis,
- 9:12Speaker 2: blame them. If it's that bad, the logical thing to
- 9:15Speaker 2: do would be the switch parties, try somebody else. So
- 9:20Speaker 2: Cuomo keeps he's been campaigning. You know, he took like
- 9:23Speaker 2: ten days off Vanish but he's out there campaigning again.
- 9:26Speaker 2: I feel it. I feel it on the street.
- 9:29Speaker 4: I continue to be confident in our campaign as well
- 9:32Speaker 4: as in our outreach to voters above the age of
- 9:34Speaker 4: fifty five. And also, I will not allow myself to
- 9:36Speaker 4: become complacent.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, and you know Curtis. Curtis been campaigning nineteen
- 9:40Speaker 2: hours a day, just one appearance every hour, everywhere. He's
- 9:45Speaker 2: just been in all five boroughs, every neighborhood.
- 9:48Speaker 5: Like it or not, I'm running to the end. That's
- 9:50Speaker 5: what democracy is about. Let people vote the billionaires. They're
- 9:55Speaker 5: not going to choose the mayor. The inside is. Oh,
- 9:58Speaker 5: the influences are not going to He's the mayor of
- 10:00Speaker 5: the people.
- 10:01Speaker 6: Off.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good Oh, he's right.
- 10:03Speaker 5: New York City is best known as a city that
- 10:06Speaker 5: locks up toothpast.
- 10:07Speaker 2: It doesn't not lock up criminals.
- 10:09Speaker 7: And that's something I'll do when I get elected mayor
- 10:11Speaker 7: on November four.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Yeah, it's ridiculous. Criminals are all let loose thanks to
- 10:16Speaker 2: our da Alvin Bragg, who you can get rid of
- 10:19Speaker 2: next Tuesday, on election day, vote for Maud Maren the Republican.
- 10:22Speaker 2: It's very important. Get out there and get rid of
- 10:24Speaker 2: Alvin Bragg. Vote for Maud Maren the Republicans, big, big,
- 10:29Speaker 2: big crime fighter, long history, and get rid of Alvin Bragg.
- 10:33Speaker 2: On Tuesday. But this whole thing of letting the criminals
- 10:37Speaker 2: run loose, you can shoplift, it's all. You can thank
- 10:40Speaker 2: Cuomo for that, with his no bail, no jail, also
- 10:43Speaker 2: with his closing the prisons. Remember he bragged about how
- 10:45Speaker 2: he closed all the prisons and let everybody out. So
- 10:50Speaker 2: here's more of Mom Donnie.
- 10:51Speaker 4: Together, New York. We're going to freeze the.
- 10:55Speaker 7: Did you get in New York?
- 10:57Speaker 4: We're gonna make buses fast and.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Right, freeze the rent. He has no authority to freeze
- 11:04Speaker 2: the rent anywhere, make busses free. He has absolutely no
- 11:07Speaker 2: control over the buses. It's run by the MTA, which
- 11:10Speaker 2: is controlled by the governor.
- 11:12Speaker 4: Let our words ring out so loud tonight that Andrew
- 11:15Speaker 4: Cuomo can hear them in his eight thousand dollars a
- 11:18Speaker 4: month apartment. Let them ring so loud that his puppet
- 11:21Speaker 4: master in the White House hears us.
- 11:25Speaker 7: New York is not for saved.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Apparently it is because Mom Donnie took tens of millions
- 11:34Speaker 2: of dollars from all these sorrows types. Nobody had more
- 11:38Speaker 2: funding from billionaires and all sorts of special interests than
- 11:42Speaker 2: Mom Donnie. Did you knowice he took the shot at
- 11:44Speaker 2: CUOMO in Westchester. So the problem Cloma's got a lot
- 11:47Speaker 2: of problems running. He's got terrible track record as governor,
- 11:51Speaker 2: got more baggage than Paris Hilton. And people remember all
- 11:55Speaker 2: these horrible things as governor, from closing Indian Point to
- 12:00Speaker 2: killing all the seniors and the nursing homes, to creating
- 12:03Speaker 2: the crime wave, the no bail, no jail, to all
- 12:05Speaker 2: all this stuff. I won't even read you the whole
- 12:08Speaker 2: list of the long list, not to mention he picked
- 12:10Speaker 2: Kathy Hockl. He's the one that stuck us with Kathy Hockle.
- 12:13Speaker 2: He chose her for us. So it's a terrible track
- 12:17Speaker 2: record as governor. And he's also, as Mom Donnie was
- 12:21Speaker 2: pointing out there, up in Westchester. He's the first mayoral
- 12:25Speaker 2: candidate who doesn't live in New York City, not a
- 12:27Speaker 2: New York City guy. His whole adult life, he's lived
- 12:29Speaker 2: in Westchester. He's been in the suburbs his whole adult life.
- 12:33Speaker 2: We've never seen that before. We had mayors that have
- 12:35Speaker 2: been born somewhere else, but they've always spent their entire
- 12:39Speaker 2: adult life living in New York City. Hey, even Mike Johnson,
- 12:43Speaker 2: Speaker of the House weighing in on the raid.
- 12:45Speaker 8: We can't allow a rise of Marxist and far left
- 12:48Speaker 8: activist in one party to shut down the entire operation
- 12:51Speaker 8: of the federal government. And that is exactly what they
- 12:54Speaker 8: are allowing them to do. The Democrats have got to
- 12:56Speaker 8: come their senses. You can endorse communist all you want,
- 13:00Speaker 8: at least keep the government operating.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Yeah, so again Cuomo, had he not been in the race,
- 13:06Speaker 2: everything might have been different. Eric Adams is a pretty
- 13:09Speaker 2: good campaigner. He might have had a better shot in
- 13:11Speaker 2: the primary and knocked out Mom, Donnie and then Cuomo.
- 13:15Speaker 2: It's all about the campaign. He hasn't been out there.
- 13:18Speaker 2: He hasn't He still hasn't opened a campaign office. It
- 13:22Speaker 2: doesn't that much of a staff. He's not a lot
- 13:25Speaker 2: of appearances, not doing much. And he's got this whole
- 13:29Speaker 2: thing about get everybody else out of the race, which
- 13:32Speaker 2: is when you got to do that, you know you're
- 13:33Speaker 2: in trouble. Remember Donald Trump in the primaries, he had
- 13:37Speaker 2: we have fifteen guys running against him. He didn't force
- 13:40Speaker 2: anybody out. The last time we saw that happen was
- 13:43Speaker 2: when Joe Biden was running and he couldn't win. So
- 13:46Speaker 2: to get him the nomination. The Democrats forced everybody out
- 13:49Speaker 2: of the race. Remember the day before South Carolina Elizabeth
- 13:52Speaker 2: Warren Withdrew, Buddha Jedge Withdrew Sanders Withdrew. They ordered everybody
- 13:57Speaker 2: out of the race. That's the only way Biden could win.
- 14:00Speaker 2: They're trying that now. They're ordering Curtis out of the race,
- 14:03Speaker 2: which is ridiculous. You know, Cuomo did that when he
- 14:05Speaker 2: ran for governor. When he was running for governor, David Patterson,
- 14:09Speaker 2: very popular, was going to be a candidate against him,
- 14:13Speaker 2: and he couldn't beat Patterson, so they had the Obama
- 14:15Speaker 2: administration get Patterson out of the race, which they did.
- 14:19Speaker 2: I've talked to Patterson. He's confirmed that although yesterday Patterson
- 14:23Speaker 2: endorsed Cuomo, that.
- 14:24Speaker 9: Is clearly advantageous to the former governor. That the senior vote,
- 14:31Speaker 9: which had been dwindling, is coming back almost with love
- 14:36Speaker 9: rhythmatic proportions.
- 14:39Speaker 2: What was that word, lover rhythmmadic? Well, I see that's
- 14:42Speaker 2: one smart guy. I don't know what the hell that means,
- 14:44Speaker 2: but I guess it has to do with a labyrinth. No,
- 14:47Speaker 2: I don't know algorithm. I don't know what it means,
- 14:49Speaker 2: but Patterson's great and I've had Patterson had run, I
- 14:54Speaker 2: think we'd all vote for him. He would have been
- 14:55Speaker 2: a much better candidate than Cuomo. So again, we don't
- 15:00Speaker 2: know about these polls. They're not the greatest polls. Anything
- 15:02Speaker 2: could change. Also, don't go by the betting markets, the
- 15:06Speaker 2: poly markets. People look at this betting market. These are
- 15:08Speaker 2: just amateur's betting and it's usually based on the poles.
- 15:12Speaker 2: And one of the reasons those betting markets don't work
- 15:16Speaker 2: very well. And you'll know whatever it says, it doesn't matter.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Let's say something else in two days. They just move
- 15:20Speaker 2: up and down and up and down. They don't really
- 15:22Speaker 2: predict anything. Whoever bets the most money moves the market
- 15:27Speaker 2: the most. And like the poly market, there's four big
- 15:30Speaker 2: players who bet so much money that it's whatever these
- 15:33Speaker 2: four guys think that moves it more than anything. Anyway,
- 15:36Speaker 2: we got a lot to get to you, Bill, O'Reilly.
- 15:38Speaker 2: We'll see what he thinks. We'll talk to him in
- 15:39Speaker 2: a couple of minutes. We'll take some calls. Next eight
- 15:42Speaker 2: hundred three to two one zero seven ten is the
- 15:45Speaker 2: number eight hundred three two one zero seven ten in
- 15:51Speaker 2: mark on demand.
- 15:52Speaker 1: By setting a preset for his podcast on the iHeartRadio app.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Now back to Mark Simon on WOO.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Well, that's takes and Call. You know, we get the
- 16:03Speaker 2: people pull from all over the country, but let me
- 16:04Speaker 2: see if we can find some New York City callers. First,
- 16:08Speaker 2: let's go to Phil and Queen's Phil. How you doing, hey, Mark?
- 16:13Speaker 10: I think Curtis is gonna win, and quite frankly, Cuomo
- 16:17Speaker 10: helped destroy the city. Mandami will build on that and
- 16:21Speaker 10: make it worse. And I drive around the city quite
- 16:25Speaker 10: a bit. I see Curtis signs where I didn't expect to,
- 16:29Speaker 10: and I'm gonna give me another moment. There's a reverse
- 16:33Speaker 10: barometer of how this selection is going. Even though a
- 16:37Speaker 10: lot of people don't view New York One, they are
- 16:41Speaker 10: so in the bag for the Democrats.
- 16:43Speaker 2: Yeah no, no, nobody sees nobody sees New York One. But
- 16:45Speaker 2: a better rehearse barometer always follow the big money donors
- 16:48Speaker 2: because they always get it wrong every time. They have
- 16:51Speaker 2: an incredible track record of always getting it wrong. So
- 16:54Speaker 2: the big, big money donors are behind Cuomo. So just
- 16:57Speaker 2: bear that mind. Let's see you in New York City.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Here's Bill and Brooklyn. Bill, how you doing him.
- 17:02Speaker 11: Mark, I'm supporting President Trump in the mayoral election. He
- 17:06Speaker 11: doesn't want us to vote for Curtis. We're gonna have
- 17:08Speaker 11: to throw Curtis under the bus and go with the Democrat.
- 17:11Speaker 11: He's rather a.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Democratic than the Democrat.
- 17:14Speaker 11: Is Mam Donni No a Democrats Democrats democrat, not the
- 17:19Speaker 11: communist Democrat.
- 17:20Speaker 2: I don't know if you can make that case. First
- 17:21Speaker 2: of all, Cuomo is not at all a Democrat. He's
- 17:24Speaker 2: running on a third party ticket. He's not the Democratic nominee.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Democrats rejected him in the primary. And when he was
- 17:30Speaker 2: governor he was as far left as mam donnie with
- 17:33Speaker 2: his no bail, no jail, closed the prisons.
- 17:35Speaker 11: But he believes in capitalism. Mark, that's important.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Yeah, No, you're right about that. The argument is that
- 17:41Speaker 2: Mam Donnie would be worse, but Cuomo would be just
- 17:43Speaker 2: as bad. Cuomo, if you check his record as governor,
- 17:47Speaker 2: was so far to the left, crazy, woke, crazy.
- 17:52Speaker 11: Uh.
- 17:53Speaker 2: But again, he's not the Democratic nominee. If you voting,
- 17:56Speaker 2: don't say vote for the Democrat because that would be
- 17:57Speaker 2: mam donnie in the race. Mam Donnie's Democratic candidate curts
- 18:01Speaker 2: the Republican candidate Cuomo running on a third party, which
- 18:04Speaker 2: nobody could probably name. Let's go six and one. Let's
- 18:08Speaker 2: go to Ron in Texas. Ron, how you doing? Wait
- 18:12Speaker 2: a minute, there you go, Ron. How you doing?
- 18:15Speaker 12: Oh?
- 18:15Speaker 13: Pretty good.
- 18:17Speaker 14: There's something that's missing about Cuomo.
- 18:20Speaker 15: He's got a bucalo of problems, and one of them
- 18:23Speaker 15: is people missing.
- 18:25Speaker 14: The prole board that he's put into place, half is
- 18:28Speaker 14: still there.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Yeah. No, that's another good point. Cuomo was as far
- 18:32Speaker 2: left as mom Donnie when he was governor. He replaced
- 18:35Speaker 2: the whole parole board with these far left woke kooks.
- 18:38Speaker 2: They've let out everybody, including think about this. His parole
- 18:43Speaker 2: board let out forty three cop killers. And this is
- 18:47Speaker 2: just an example of how he governs. Let's go to
- 18:48Speaker 2: Jerry in Greenwich. Jerry, how you doing?
- 18:51Speaker 13: I'm doing well, Mark, thank you for taking my call.
- 18:54Speaker 13: I met Camillo yesterday. Insider down.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Fred Camillo is the mayor of Grantwitch. She's the best mayor.
- 19:01Speaker 2: They call it the first selectman. But everybody make sure
- 19:04Speaker 2: to work vote for Fred Camillo on Tuesday. Make sure
- 19:06Speaker 2: you vote for him.
- 19:07Speaker 13: I'm definitely working for him. I mean, you know, I
- 19:11Speaker 13: asked him to give me two signs for his support,
- 19:14Speaker 13: and I put him on my property on North Street,
- 19:16Speaker 13: which is really really nice. And I support my friend
- 19:20Speaker 13: Heather for a tax collector. So I'm a great supporter
- 19:24Speaker 13: of Camillo and Heather.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Yeah, everybody Greenwich vote for Fred Camillo best mayor. They
- 19:29Speaker 2: he's a great man and a great guy. All right,
- 19:32Speaker 2: thanks for calling. Let's go to sal in Long Island. Sal.
- 19:35Speaker 2: How you doing good?
- 19:37Speaker 16: Good morning Mark, Mark. I don't want to change the
- 19:40Speaker 16: subject too much from the campaign, but I wanted your
- 19:43Speaker 16: opinion on how do you feel about bringing back the draft?
- 19:46Speaker 16: So these eighteen year olds would learn respect, learn a career,
- 19:50Speaker 16: possibly learn that they just they can't eat with Mommy
- 19:54Speaker 16: makes them all the time, and they will learn to
- 19:56Speaker 16: be adults and turn out to be men after two
- 19:59Speaker 16: years of being in the army.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Well, it sounds good on paper. It sounds good on paper,
- 20:03Speaker 2: but it can't happen because nobody's going to campaign about
- 20:05Speaker 2: bringing back the draft. You'd you'd get killed in an
- 20:08Speaker 2: election if that was your platform. And Democrats aren't going
- 20:11Speaker 2: to bring back the draft. They don't like the military.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Republicans would worry it would kill any chance of getting elected.
- 20:18Speaker 2: But it's a good idea.
- 20:19Speaker 16: I think, I'm sorry, I think President Trump would be
- 20:22Speaker 16: all for it though, and that would bring back respect
- 20:25Speaker 16: and patriotism. Also, that's what we had at one time,
- 20:29Speaker 16: and that was one of the reasons we had it.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Yeah, but again, bring back the draft. You probably can't
- 20:34Speaker 2: get elected. But President Trump's been very good on military recruiting.
- 20:38Speaker 2: Recruiting just stopped under Joe Biden because they went so
- 20:42Speaker 2: woke and you know, trans or whatever they went to,
- 20:46Speaker 2: it pretty much dried up. That's one reason he wanted
- 20:48Speaker 2: Pete Hexath. Hexath is very good at that. The one
- 20:51Speaker 2: thing he's done, he's dramatically increased recruiting by thousands of percent.
- 20:56Speaker 2: I mean, he's just recruiting is now through the roof,
- 20:59Speaker 2: back where we wanted it. Let's go to Andy in
- 21:01Speaker 2: New Jersey. Andy, how you doing, Hey?
- 21:04Speaker 14: Mark the word that Governor Patterson was trying to spit
- 21:07Speaker 14: out with logarithmic, but even if you could pronounce it,
- 21:10Speaker 14: it didn't make any sense because logarithmic increases slower than linear.
- 21:15Speaker 14: What he wanted to say as an exponential increase, which
- 21:18Speaker 14: is much much faster than linear.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Well, he's a very smart guy, Patterson, but you got
- 21:22Speaker 2: to watch those words. Well, I don't need to give
- 21:24Speaker 2: him any advice, he knows that a speaking public. But
- 21:26Speaker 2: you got to watch that, that gibberish kind of what.
- 21:29Speaker 2: So it's logarithmic versus exponential exponential?
- 21:33Speaker 14: Yeah, yeah, whatlgarithm is slow? Exponential is very fast.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Oh, logarithmic is slow, exponential is fast. All right, let
- 21:42Speaker 2: me just write that down because I'm never going to
- 21:43Speaker 2: use that anywhere. Who's going to know what the hell
- 21:45Speaker 2: I'm talking about. Hey, well, Bill O'Reilly will be with
- 21:49Speaker 2: us next. Lots to talk to him about the mayoral race,
- 21:52Speaker 2: the World series. Last night eighteen innings. The game went
- 21:55Speaker 2: till two fifteen in the morning. Anyway, a lot to
- 21:58Speaker 2: get to next on seven Wry's.
- 22:01Speaker 1: The Marks Amon Show on seven ten WR.
- 22:06Speaker 3: Well.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Bill O'Reilly, of course, the number one TV anchor for decades.
- 22:09Speaker 2: You can watch his show the TV shows on you
- 22:13Speaker 2: just go to Bill O'Reilly dot com or watch YouTube.
- 22:15Speaker 2: He's got some great stuff on YouTube and his latest
- 22:18Speaker 2: best selling book. He's the biggest nonfiction author on earth.
- 22:21Speaker 2: The latest best selling book is Confronting Evil. It is
- 22:26Speaker 2: an amazing book. You gotta get it and you get
- 22:28Speaker 2: his column. Everything's at Bill O'Reilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly,
- 22:32Speaker 2: How you doing.
- 22:34Speaker 7: Busy this morning?
- 22:35Speaker 12: Just like you Mark?
- 22:36Speaker 7: Right?
- 22:36Speaker 2: Yeah? Well, hey President in China, you made the trip first,
- 22:40Speaker 2: you were in China meeting with all these leaders there.
- 22:42Speaker 2: What is he What is he in for there?
- 22:45Speaker 7: I think? Well, I got a text from him at
- 22:50Speaker 7: one in the morning's coast time, and he says that
- 22:56Speaker 7: everything's going very well, and uh, I'm the scenes that
- 23:01Speaker 7: Chinese are cooperating. So I was happy to hear that.
- 23:05Speaker 7: I'm making a point tonight on my broadcast and no
- 23:07Speaker 7: Spin News that there are people in America I'm starting
- 23:11Speaker 7: to really teem me off. They want them to fail
- 23:14Speaker 7: over there. You know, they hate him so much. And
- 23:19Speaker 7: I know some of these people, And now I have
- 23:21Speaker 7: a moral quandary because I don't really respect that. If
- 23:28Speaker 7: you are going to put your hatred for an individual,
- 23:31Speaker 7: whether it's Donald Trump or Notack Obama, anybody above the
- 23:34Speaker 7: welfare of your own country and your own family by extension,
- 23:40Speaker 7: then I don't respect you. And so then I have
- 23:44Speaker 7: to reevaluate how I'm going to deal with that person. Now,
- 23:48Speaker 7: I don't think that's common in say, a large amount
- 23:55Speaker 7: of people believe that, but certainly a significant amount of
- 24:00Speaker 7: people do, and you see it reflected in MS and CNN.
- 24:07Speaker 7: In fact, we're reporting a story tonight. I believe it's true,
- 24:10Speaker 7: although it's anonymously sore. So I always tell the audience
- 24:13Speaker 7: that got to bring a bit of skepticism when you
- 24:16Speaker 7: read about anonymous sore stories. That the head of CNN,
- 24:22Speaker 7: Mark Thompson, actually ordered his anchors to knock it off
- 24:27Speaker 7: about the White House renovations and start covering the most
- 24:31Speaker 7: important story of the year, Trump's Asia trip. He had
- 24:36Speaker 7: to order his own.
- 24:37Speaker 11: People to do that.
- 24:39Speaker 7: That's a pretty sad state of affairs.
- 24:41Speaker 2: I think, Yeah, this ballroom derangement syndrome, it's just ridiculous.
- 24:46Speaker 2: And you're right, big things are happening in this trip, big,
- 24:49Speaker 2: big trade deals with mineral deals. It should be covered NonStop.
- 24:54Speaker 7: It's enormous. And so far he's two for two Asia
- 25:01Speaker 7: and Japan. And the reason that he's succeeding is because
- 25:07Speaker 7: people fear him so these countries. And I'm like, okay,
- 25:11Speaker 7: I want to give America a break. That's not really
- 25:14Speaker 7: the mentality. Mentality is I gotta get a deal with
- 25:18Speaker 7: this man, because if we don't, then our economy is
- 25:22Speaker 7: going to be hurt, particularly in Japan. They know they
- 25:25Speaker 7: have to calm it down. When I was in Japan
- 25:28Speaker 7: in May, I did not see one American vehicle. And
- 25:33Speaker 7: I traveled around a bit, there wasn't one American vehicle
- 25:37Speaker 7: on their streets that There were German cars and Korean cars,
- 25:44Speaker 7: but no American vehicles. What was that Because the Japanese
- 25:50Speaker 7: historically have kept out American cars from their marketplace, which
- 25:54Speaker 7: iump's changing all of that, And so I was happy
- 25:59Speaker 7: to see the initial couple of days go well, but
- 26:04Speaker 7: the big day is Thursday. The meeting was she Yeah.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Well, uh, there's no reason to think he won't do
- 26:14Speaker 2: very well with she for all the reasons you just said.
- 26:16Speaker 2: And a lot of people think there also might be
- 26:18Speaker 2: a wink and a nod about Taiwan or something like that.
- 26:21Speaker 7: There's gotta be some accommodation made to the Chinese about Taiwan.
- 26:27Speaker 7: You're absolutely right. The American government cannot take a hard line.
- 26:33Speaker 7: There's a way to do this. But it's so emotional now,
- 26:39Speaker 7: particularly what happened in Hong Kong. You know, in the
- 26:41Speaker 7: beginning of Hong Kong is going to be autonomous and
- 26:44Speaker 7: it's going to be part of China, but they're gonna
- 26:46Speaker 7: let the capitalistic system flow there. And then of course
- 26:49Speaker 7: the Chinese said, I don't think something we will violate
- 26:53Speaker 7: every treaty, and that could happen in Taiwan, but you
- 26:56Speaker 7: gotta got to try to tamp that down. Most important
- 27:00Speaker 7: saying beside the trade with China, and that is ultra
- 27:03Speaker 7: important to the American economy is the back and away
- 27:07Speaker 7: from Putin. And that's what I discussed with the politbureau
- 27:10Speaker 7: in May when I was invited over there by the
- 27:13Speaker 7: Chinese government. I said, what are you into putin business for?
- 27:17Speaker 7: What is that? Why do you want to enable this guy?
- 27:20Speaker 7: You can get your oil from Outpek and Tumble sell
- 27:22Speaker 7: you oil to probably a better price than Putin. And
- 27:27Speaker 7: why do you want to be in business with this guy?
- 27:28Speaker 7: He's killing women and children. And when you know, the
- 27:32Speaker 7: Chinese don't answer when you ask questions, they ponder, they
- 27:36Speaker 7: don't answer.
- 27:37Speaker 2: And when you deal with them, are they do? You
- 27:40Speaker 2: just see the brilliance, the incredible strategic minds, that is
- 27:44Speaker 2: it really that formidable these people.
- 27:48Speaker 7: There's one guy who was really brilliant, and I met
- 27:50Speaker 7: with him. Uh one on one former ambassador to the
- 27:55Speaker 7: United States from China who served in Trump's first term,
- 28:02Speaker 7: and he, boy, this guy eighty years old. He knows
- 28:06Speaker 7: what he's doing.
- 28:07Speaker 12: The others were.
- 28:10Speaker 7: Bureaucrats. I mean, maybe that's unfair of me to say,
- 28:14Speaker 7: because I didn't spend a lot of I spent three
- 28:16Speaker 7: hours with this crew, but they were peppering me with
- 28:20Speaker 7: questions and there was a discussion back and forth. I
- 28:23Speaker 7: didn't see, you know, anything that stood out except for
- 28:27Speaker 7: this ambassador. And he's the she whisperer. He's the guy
- 28:33Speaker 7: that she listens to.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Hey, Bill Riley, before we went out of time, CBS,
- 28:37Speaker 2: they got this Barry Weiss in there trying to straighten
- 28:39Speaker 2: it out, make it more fair, balance neutral. Is it
- 28:42Speaker 2: possible to do that? Does she have any chance of
- 28:44Speaker 2: succeeding at that you used to work there.
- 28:47Speaker 7: Yeah, that's a very very good question. I think she
- 28:52Speaker 7: can stabilize the operation and bring back some credibility to it,
- 28:58Speaker 7: but I don't think they're ever going to have good ratings.
- 29:01Speaker 7: I don't think there's anybody in America under the age
- 29:04Speaker 7: of fifty that watches the evening news. My kids don't
- 29:09Speaker 7: ever on any of them. They're obsolete because you can
- 29:13Speaker 7: get the information on social media and the internet way
- 29:17Speaker 7: before they come on at six thirty at night. And
- 29:20Speaker 7: the morning shows are just ridiculous. I mean, it's you know,
- 29:23Speaker 7: but what ms wis is going to do is get
- 29:26Speaker 7: the fanatics out, the progressive fanatics which dominated all three
- 29:30Speaker 7: networks for at least ten years, and that's what she's
- 29:34Speaker 7: going to do. You're going to get them out and
- 29:36Speaker 7: get more moderate people in, more professional people who aren't
- 29:40Speaker 7: going to you know, skew the news. So if I
- 29:43Speaker 7: were Scott Pelly, I wouldn't bite buying a house, you
- 29:45Speaker 7: know what I mean? There are people there who are
- 29:49Speaker 7: marked Gail King yea, I'd be hard to move her out,
- 29:55Speaker 7: But she's certainly going to get a haircut on the
- 29:57Speaker 7: paycheck and they're going to bring down all the salaries.
- 30:01Speaker 7: They're going to bring in some people that are not
- 30:04Speaker 7: identified with the far left, and I think that Weiss
- 30:09Speaker 7: will be able to restore some credibility there.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Hey, yeah, we'll get one minute left the election Tuesday.
- 30:15Speaker 2: What do you think is going to happen?
- 30:16Speaker 7: Montani looks like Mandai is going to win. I mean,
- 30:20Speaker 7: you can you know that by the early voting. I
- 30:23Speaker 7: was surprised they gave out the tally so quickly. So
- 30:26Speaker 7: Mandmi is carrying Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens and Cuomo's carrying
- 30:32Speaker 7: the Bronx and Saten Island. It's not enough for Cuomoy,
- 30:37Speaker 7: so I expect that, you know, in one week, everybody
- 30:43Speaker 7: will go.
- 30:43Speaker 12: But the early voting is.
- 30:46Speaker 7: Very significant in New York City this year, and I
- 30:48Speaker 7: don't think that trend is going to change. So I
- 30:51Speaker 7: think Mandamie would be the mayor.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Well, we got through eight years at de Blasio and
- 30:55Speaker 2: it's basically the de Blasio team working for Mandani, so
- 30:59Speaker 2: do the same thing.
- 30:59Speaker 7: All Yeah, next week we'll talk about this because the
- 31:02Speaker 7: Blasia was a disaster and he set the stage for this, Yeah, debacle,
- 31:07Speaker 7: it's about to happen. But I know, you got to
- 31:10Speaker 7: sell some stuff and now, so it's a little bit complicated,
- 31:14Speaker 7: but you know, this is the way life is. So
- 31:20Speaker 7: when New Yorkers, we're tough and you just got to
- 31:23Speaker 7: go along.
- 31:24Speaker 2: All right, we'll get to that next week, but everybody
- 31:26Speaker 2: get Bill O'Reilly's latest book. You'll love this book, powerful
- 31:29Speaker 2: book called Confronting Evil. It's already a big bestseller. Watch
- 31:33Speaker 2: the YouTube channel Bill O'Reilly's YouTube channel. Great stuff there,
- 31:36Speaker 2: and of course go to Bill O'Reilly dot com TV
- 31:39Speaker 2: show column. Everything's at Bill O'Reilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly,
- 31:43Speaker 2: thanks for being with.
- 31:43Speaker 7: Us, Thanks having me, Mark appreciate it.

- 31:55Speaker 2: that show. But also three o'clock you got Sean Hand

- 32:35Speaker 2: every day. Back right after the news on seven to ten, wor.
- 32:40Speaker 4: Blogged into Everything New York.
- 32:42Speaker 16: I'm the voice of New York, Mark Simone on seven
- 32:46Speaker 16: ten WR.
- 32:50Speaker 2: Well, I'm getting a lot of texts. That's not because
- 32:56Speaker 2: I'm popular. It just means I have a doctor's appointment.
- 33:00Speaker 2: Doctor's appointment today. It's just a yearly physical. I got
- 33:04Speaker 2: an email this morning reminded me of this, doctors. But
- 33:06Speaker 2: I just got a text, a reminder your doctor's appointment
- 33:09Speaker 2: is today. I got one last night. I got what
- 33:11Speaker 2: do they think I'm Joe Biden. I can't remember anything.
- 33:13Speaker 2: I mean, for hundreds of years people had doctor's appointments
- 33:18Speaker 2: and you just wrote it down, you know, and you
- 33:22Speaker 2: showed up. It was not I've asked doctors, why do
- 33:25Speaker 2: you do this? Why do you bombard us with texts
- 33:27Speaker 2: and emails, reminders and reminders. Wow, a misappointment can really
- 33:30Speaker 2: screw up everything, and it's the worst thing in the world.
- 33:34Speaker 2: I got lots of appointments all day. I don't get
- 33:36Speaker 2: four hundred texts. I mean, you've got a meeting with
- 33:38Speaker 2: somebody at three o'clock today. They don't send me a
- 33:41Speaker 2: million texts or reminder your meeting is actually I actually started
- 33:44Speaker 2: doing that to people, just a reminder. It's annoying. Hey,
- 33:50Speaker 2: World Series last night, eighteen innings walk off homer by
- 33:55Speaker 2: Freddie Freeman, who's very famous now for these walk off homers.
- 33:59Speaker 2: But innings, the game went till two fifteen in the morning.
- 34:04Speaker 2: There is nothing more annoying or less fun to watch
- 34:09Speaker 2: than one of those long inning games where nobody scores,
- 34:13Speaker 2: nothing happens. I mean, it's great watching all the defense,
- 34:16Speaker 2: but so you had like nine ten innings of no
- 34:21Speaker 2: scoring until that walk off homer. Hey, you know it's
- 34:24Speaker 2: the Dodgers. They won in eighteen eis. You know what
- 34:27Speaker 2: was fascinating was you know it was there at the game,
- 34:30Speaker 2: Sandy Kofax. I didn't even know he's still alive. He's
- 34:33Speaker 2: eighty nine years old, the legendary Dodger pitcher. There were
- 34:37Speaker 2: Sandy Kofax at the World Series. So it's definitely not
- 34:42Speaker 2: summer anymore. It's definitely well into the fall. We're really
- 34:45Speaker 2: into fall now. Because daylight savings time ends Sunday night.
- 34:49Speaker 2: Saturday night, you will gain an hour, you'll get an
- 34:52Speaker 2: extra hour of sleep Saturday night. You want to know
- 34:55Speaker 2: how close winter is. The Rockefeller sent Christmas tree. Yah,
- 35:00Speaker 2: that's right, it's that time already. They picked a tree
- 35:03Speaker 2: from a suburban farm in Albany, Albany Suburbs, one hundred
- 35:08Speaker 2: and thirty miles north of Manhattan. It's an eleven tons
- 35:11Speaker 2: seventy five foot Norway spruce tree donated by the Russ family.
- 35:16Speaker 2: It was planted more than sixty years ago. This is
- 35:19Speaker 2: good because the last tree came from Massachusetts, so this
- 35:22Speaker 2: is a New York tree. Why don't they just get
- 35:24Speaker 2: a fake tree? Why don't they get just a big
- 35:28Speaker 2: You could have one made, a seventy five foot fake tree.
- 35:31Speaker 2: You put it in storage. Every year, you bring it
- 35:33Speaker 2: out again. It's got to be cheaper than a truck
- 35:37Speaker 2: cutting down this thing and bringing this tree one hundred
- 35:39Speaker 2: and thirty miles. And isn't this bad environmentally? You're cutting
- 35:42Speaker 2: down these trees. Here's a sixty year old tree. Cutting
- 35:46Speaker 2: it down. I guess for the family, they don't mind.
- 35:49Speaker 2: It screws up their farm, but you can always say
- 35:54Speaker 2: that was our tree in Rockefeller Center. So it'll be
- 35:57Speaker 2: here pretty soon. That's when you know summer is real
- 36:00Speaker 2: really over? Hey, Amazon laying off thirty thousand people. Now,
- 36:07Speaker 2: everybody says there's this big AI employment meltdown coming, that
- 36:11Speaker 2: a lot of people will get laid off due to
- 36:14Speaker 2: this new technology AI. You know, usually when it's new technology,
- 36:17Speaker 2: it's blue collar jobs that are lost. This is a
- 36:20Speaker 2: whole different scenario. These are white collar jobs that will
- 36:23Speaker 2: be lost. If you look at these thirty thousand Amazon
- 36:27Speaker 2: people being laid off, it's all corporate. It's not the warehouse,
- 36:31Speaker 2: not that stuff, although that could be coming, but thirty
- 36:35Speaker 2: thousand corporate jobs, you know, accounting, hr all, this sort
- 36:38Speaker 2: of stuff. Thirty thousand jobs. That's a lot of jobs.
- 36:42Speaker 2: And then because of AI technology can do a lot
- 36:45Speaker 2: of this stuff. A lot of companies that have a
- 36:47Speaker 2: hiring freeze. JP Morgan other companies said it's a hiring
- 36:51Speaker 2: freeze and it's just starting, it's just heating up. The
- 36:55Speaker 2: AI stuff will put millions and millions. Some estimates up
- 36:59Speaker 2: to one hundred million people could be put out of
- 37:02Speaker 2: work by AI. Hey, speaking of Joe Biden, new report
- 37:06Speaker 2: comes out showing a well, it's no surprise, you know,
- 37:10Speaker 2: he was a vegetable, a zombie for years in the
- 37:14Speaker 2: White House. Didn't know where he was or what he
- 37:16Speaker 2: was doing. But a new report has a lot of
- 37:18Speaker 2: details about what they had to do with this guy.
- 37:20Speaker 2: If he had to appear, and remember he barely appeared.
- 37:23Speaker 2: Maybe once every couple of weeks you'd see him for
- 37:24Speaker 2: five minutes at some little ceremony. But apparently they had
- 37:28Speaker 2: to use a lot of makeup on him. They had
- 37:32Speaker 2: to very strategically place everything so he didn't have to
- 37:36Speaker 2: take too many steps. In other words, if you're going
- 37:39Speaker 2: to do a meeting, they had a room, and they
- 37:41Speaker 2: put the place the podium, right near the door, so
- 37:44Speaker 2: he had to take five steps instead of a walk
- 37:46Speaker 2: across the room. Even for the most simple little things,
- 37:51Speaker 2: just a little thing where he's going to greet somebody
- 37:54Speaker 2: and say a couple words, a teleprompter had to be used,
- 37:57Speaker 2: note cards. All that stuff looks bad. And they're now
- 38:01Speaker 2: in this report saying that all those last pardons were
- 38:04Speaker 2: definitely auto pen and if the president didn't actually sign
- 38:08Speaker 2: the part, and if it was an autopen a lot
- 38:10Speaker 2: of people think they can be legally canceled, the pardon
- 38:13Speaker 2: could actually be canceled, so that could get pretty interesting.
- 38:16Speaker 2: Now President Trump is in Southeast Asia. He's been Japan,
- 38:21Speaker 2: there's Korea, there's China, there's Malaysia. It's a big, long trip,
- 38:25Speaker 2: and it's you ever fly to Japan or Malaysia. It's
- 38:29Speaker 2: you're on a plane for like eighteen hours. It's quite
- 38:32Speaker 2: a flight. It's a grueling flight, and it's a long trip.
- 38:36Speaker 2: And the time difference it's not two hours, it's like
- 38:39Speaker 2: nineteen hours. It's like an incredible disruption of your circadian
- 38:43Speaker 2: rhythm body clock. So Trump was seen and in the
- 38:48Speaker 2: Japan ceremony, he had to walk the red carpet, and
- 38:52Speaker 2: on fake news they're going crazy saying clearly there's something
- 38:54Speaker 2: wrong with him, trying to make him look like Joe Biden, Like,
- 38:57Speaker 2: look at his gate, look at the way he's walking.
- 38:59Speaker 2: SEMs to be walking a little slower than usual. But
- 39:02Speaker 2: if you just spent eighteen hours flying to Japan, you're
- 39:05Speaker 2: in three countries and one day you're going to walk
- 39:08Speaker 2: a little slow. He just looks tired. He's fine, he's fine.
- 39:11Speaker 2: Don't fall for any of this fake news stuff. Speaking
- 39:14Speaker 2: of fake news, John Stewart last night has Mom Donnie
- 39:17Speaker 2: on zoron Mom Donnie Stuart trying to give him a
- 39:21Speaker 2: helping hand, puts Mom Donnie on the Daily Show now,
- 39:24Speaker 2: so you know where Stuart stands on all of this.
- 39:28Speaker 2: Mom Donnie, of course, huffing and puffing about everything.
- 39:31Speaker 4: I think it makes the most sense in the wealthiest city,
- 39:33Speaker 4: in the wealthiest country in the history of the world,
- 39:35Speaker 4: that we actually ensure we have the funding necessary to
- 39:38Speaker 4: make it a place that New Yorkers can afford. And
- 39:40Speaker 4: I'm looking forward to working with Governor Hokle.
- 39:42Speaker 2: Yeah, right now, the Mom Donnie team, who would he
- 39:46Speaker 2: put in city Hall? Who's going to be Well, it's
- 39:48Speaker 2: so far in the campaign it's it's the Bill de
- 39:51Speaker 2: Blasio team. Bill Deblasio's people have been running things for
- 39:55Speaker 2: Mom Donni, so people think when he takes office it'll
- 39:59Speaker 2: be a lot of the Deblazi people coming back. Things
- 40:01Speaker 2: were pretty bad under Deblasio, who was mayor for eight years. Now,
- 40:06Speaker 2: if there's an affordability crisis, you can certainly blame Bill
- 40:09Speaker 2: de Blasio for not fixing it. So it looks like
- 40:11Speaker 2: the same people, and again it'll be a lot like Deblasio.
- 40:15Speaker 2: Typical of these socialist Marxist candidates, all talk, never actually
- 40:20Speaker 2: get anything done. Nobody's ever actually helped from it except themselves.
- 40:24Speaker 2: Here's more of mom, Donnie.
- 40:26Speaker 4: So I will continue to make the case as to
- 40:28Speaker 4: why I think we need to increase taxes on the
- 40:30Speaker 4: top one percent by two percent, why we need to
- 40:33Speaker 4: raise the state's top corporate tax rate to match that
- 40:35Speaker 4: out of New Jersey, and in doing so, this would
- 40:36Speaker 4: raise nine billion dollars, and that more than pays for
- 40:39Speaker 4: our economic agenda and starts to actually trump prof our city.
- 40:42Speaker 2: Well, that sounds good on paper, it doesn't actually work.
- 40:44Speaker 2: First of all, he has no power to tax the rich.
- 40:46Speaker 2: That's the legislature. He has no power to do that.
- 40:50Speaker 2: If you tax the first of all, the top one
- 40:53Speaker 2: percent pays forty eight percent of the taxes. The top
- 40:57Speaker 2: one percent now pays half the tax in New York.
- 41:00Speaker 2: So let's say you decided to increase the taxes on
- 41:05Speaker 2: that top one percent. Let's say ten percent of them leave, Well,
- 41:09Speaker 2: you just lost about five percent of your revenue right there.
- 41:12Speaker 2: Let's say twenty percent leaves, you just lost ten percent
- 41:15Speaker 2: of your revenue. So it doesn't work. The rich can
- 41:19Speaker 2: move wherever the hell they want. They can also choose
- 41:21Speaker 2: how they receive their income. They can go tax free,
- 41:24Speaker 2: they can move, they can do whatever they want. And
- 41:26Speaker 2: that's why you have a lot of people in New York.
- 41:29Speaker 2: You see a lot of billionaires here in the years.
- 41:31Speaker 2: Well they didn't leave, Yeah, actually they did. It's no
- 41:33Speaker 2: longer their residence. Their residence is now Florida or Texas
- 41:36Speaker 2: or somewhere else. It just means they can only be
- 41:39Speaker 2: in New York whatever it is, one hundred and seventy
- 41:41Speaker 2: five days a year. So they watched the calendar. So
- 41:44Speaker 2: there's a lot of these wealthy zillionaire and these hedge
- 41:46Speaker 2: fund guys who don't actually even live here anymore, even
- 41:49Speaker 2: though you think they do. They just switch their residence. Hey,
- 41:53Speaker 2: the shutdown continues, and Trump wanted to pay the mill.
- 42:00Speaker 2: He didn't want them to go without a paycheck, so
- 42:02Speaker 2: he found a wealthy donor to pay the military. It's
- 42:06Speaker 2: one hundred and seventy million for the month. That's how
- 42:10Speaker 2: much they get paid. So, believe it or not, he
- 42:12Speaker 2: found a donor who donated the money. And there's a
- 42:15Speaker 2: way to do it perfectly legal. The Pentagon has a
- 42:18Speaker 2: fund that you can put money into, is sort of
- 42:20Speaker 2: a gift and once it's in the Pentagon, they can
- 42:23Speaker 2: use it for whatever purpose they want. So that's what happened,
- 42:28Speaker 2: and he wanted this guy was such a nice guy
- 42:30Speaker 2: by paying the military salary one hundred and seventy million
- 42:33Speaker 2: for a month, that he didn't want any credit. He
- 42:35Speaker 2: wanted it donate it anonymously. It was just a gift.
- 42:39Speaker 2: Didn't want to take any credit, so he did it anonymously.
- 42:43Speaker 2: And of course leave it up to fake news New
- 42:45Speaker 2: York Times all these things to go crazy trying to
- 42:47Speaker 2: figure out who it is. Some thought it would be
- 42:50Speaker 2: Elon Musk. You know, anybody's just got an extra one
- 42:52Speaker 2: hundred and seventy million in his pocket, changing can donate that.
- 42:56Speaker 2: That's like an Elon Musk at Jeff Bezos. Well, it
- 42:58Speaker 2: turned out they found out it was Timothy Mellon of
- 43:02Speaker 2: the banking family, the Mellon family, whose family's worth about
- 43:05Speaker 2: fourteen billion, so they can easily part with one hundred
- 43:09Speaker 2: and seventy million. But they printed his name all over
- 43:12Speaker 2: the place. Now, one reason he might now a he's
- 43:16Speaker 2: not a guy looking for any credit. You know, when
- 43:19Speaker 2: you make a charitable contribution, or you do something for
- 43:22Speaker 2: somebody or donate, you should never tell anybody, should never
- 43:25Speaker 2: take credit for it. It's the old George Steinbrenner rule.
- 43:29Speaker 2: If anybody knows about it besides you and the person
- 43:32Speaker 2: you did it for, then you did it for the
- 43:34Speaker 2: wrong reasons. They didn't run any credit. But also he
- 43:38Speaker 2: probably didn't want to get attacked by these crazy Trump
- 43:41Speaker 2: haters by the Trump derangement syndrome. No King's crowd. He
- 43:44Speaker 2: doesn't need them outside his house, picketing outside their business.
- 43:48Speaker 2: That's probably the other reason. So, hey, look at Kelsey
- 43:51Speaker 2: Grammar Frasier. Kelsey Grammer having a child, another kid, eighth child.
- 44:01Speaker 2: He's seventy years old. Now this gets a little complicated.
- 44:05Speaker 2: Seventy years old and he's having a baby, his eighth child.
- 44:08Speaker 2: There's seventy. So let's say the kid's fifteen and wants
- 44:12Speaker 2: to play catch with you, you'd be eighty five. You'd
- 44:16Speaker 2: be eighty eight. When the kid enters college, you'd be well,
- 44:22Speaker 2: you'd be ninety two when he graduates. I don't know.
- 44:25Speaker 2: The math doesn't quite work on this. Hey, we'll get
- 44:28Speaker 2: to the election coming up. The Dean himself, the best
- 44:30Speaker 2: campaign director of all ed Rollins, will talk to him
- 44:34Speaker 2: a little later about the campaign. Now, the problem is
- 44:40Speaker 2: Mamdanni has a total lead in every poll. Now, These
- 44:43Speaker 2: are not the greatest polls. These are these junkie college
- 44:46Speaker 2: polls and media polls, but they clearly show Mamdanni winning
- 44:53Speaker 2: a lot of the big, big, big donors who always
- 44:55Speaker 2: screw up every race, always get it wrong, pushing Cuomo
- 44:58Speaker 2: like crazy. The problem with Cuomo, you know, he was
- 45:02Speaker 2: really bad as governor. He did every far left woke,
- 45:05Speaker 2: kooky thing you could do. You know, took away bail,
- 45:09Speaker 2: no bail, no jail. He closed the prisons, he let
- 45:11Speaker 2: everybody out, He closed Indian Point. You could go on
- 45:14Speaker 2: and on all this crazy left wing stuff. If you
- 45:17Speaker 2: bring this up to anybody, they'll always excuse it. They'll say, well,
- 45:21Speaker 2: I mean he was he was just catering the left. Yeah,
- 45:24Speaker 2: well back then he was catering the left. Okay, that's
- 45:27Speaker 2: what he does. He caters to the left. It's going
- 45:29Speaker 2: to be worse this time because it's a it's a
- 45:33Speaker 2: much This whole cater to the left stuff is worse
- 45:36Speaker 2: today than back then because the far far left AOC
- 45:40Speaker 2: Mamdanni wing of the party has complete control. So if
- 45:43Speaker 2: you get into office, they're going to really come after you,
- 45:46Speaker 2: and he's going to cave to them again. Now Hakeem
- 45:49Speaker 2: Jefferies did not want to endorse Mamdanni, but these far
- 45:53Speaker 2: left people in the party that run things told him
- 45:56Speaker 2: will primary you if you don't endorse Mamdanni, which terrified him,
- 46:01Speaker 2: so he quickly endorsed mom Donnie. That's why they got
- 46:04Speaker 2: Schumer as a hostage. They've told him they'll primary him
- 46:07Speaker 2: right out of the race. So when Cuomo's in off,
- 46:11Speaker 2: he's got to assume he's gonna want to get reelected,
- 46:14Speaker 2: and they'll tell him we're gonna primary you if you
- 46:17Speaker 2: don't do this kind of stuff. So the same thing
- 46:20Speaker 2: happened when he was governor. So he did all this kooky,
- 46:23Speaker 2: far left, crazy left wing kind of stuff that caused
- 46:28Speaker 2: the crime wave that caused most of our problems today.
- 46:31Speaker 2: So that's the problem if you get Cuomo in office,
- 46:33Speaker 2: he always caves to those people. Hey, we'll take some
- 46:36Speaker 2: calls in a minute. Eight hundred three to two one
- 46:39Speaker 2: zero seven ten is the number, eight hundred three to
- 46:42Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten.
- 46:45Speaker 1: Give woor a bree said on the iHeart radio app
- 46:48Speaker 1: to hear marximone and all the wr hosts in an instance.
- 46:53Speaker 1: Now back to the Marximo Show on woor.
- 46:58Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to uh, let's
- 47:01Speaker 2: go to Danny and Parsipity, New Jersey. Danny, How you
- 47:04Speaker 2: doing good?
- 47:06Speaker 11: Mark?
- 47:06Speaker 12: Good?
- 47:06Speaker 17: Mark? I just really hope that these cities are ready
- 47:10Speaker 17: for the chaos that's gonna ensue once they cut off
- 47:13Speaker 17: these SNAP benefits for forty million people on Saturday. Snap benefits,
- 47:18Speaker 17: the Snap benefits, the EVT and the food stamps. Oh yeah,
- 47:23Speaker 17: for people out there, and I'm sure they're going to
- 47:26Speaker 17: go shopping on their own. They got to feed their kids.
- 47:28Speaker 17: So I hope the cities are ready for it because
- 47:30Speaker 17: they're gonna neat food for their kids.
- 47:32Speaker 2: All right, Well, we'll see what happens. You never know,
- 47:33Speaker 2: this could get settled before that. That's Saturday. This is Tuesday.
- 47:37Speaker 2: There's still time. Let's go to Bob Mottvale, New Jersey. Bob,
- 47:42Speaker 2: how you doing good?
- 47:44Speaker 6: Hell are you?
- 47:44Speaker 2: Mark?
- 47:44Speaker 15: Thanks for taking my call, but you know I couldn't help.
- 47:47Speaker 15: But notice you guys are running a new commercial on
- 47:50Speaker 15: the air there about NBC News and it's just it's
- 47:54Speaker 15: kind of funny how it's like false advertisements.
- 47:56Speaker 2: What do you mean?
- 47:57Speaker 15: It says fair balance and not opinionated, And why you
- 48:00Speaker 15: got Nicole Wallace state in that well, no.
- 48:02Speaker 2: That's not, that's not, that's not, that's not has nothing
- 48:04Speaker 2: to do with NBC News. Nicole Wallace, MSNBC is totally
- 48:07Speaker 2: separate now, separate company.
- 48:09Speaker 15: I understand that, but it's like the same you're going
- 48:12Speaker 15: to see. They're going to fall in line with that,
- 48:15Speaker 15: but it's totally kind of not like truthful advertising.
- 48:19Speaker 2: I think, well, you know, uh, I'm not here to
- 48:24Speaker 2: defend NBC News, but most of our sponsors are really good.
- 48:28Speaker 2: We actually turned down sponsors on the show if we
- 48:30Speaker 2: don't think they're very good. But I understand, in general
- 48:33Speaker 2: is money.
- 48:33Speaker 15: I understand.
- 48:34Speaker 2: No, in general advertising, let's say a certain car company
- 48:37Speaker 2: runs ads all over TV. They're not going to say
- 48:41Speaker 2: it's okay, it's not a great car. You could probably
- 48:43Speaker 2: get a better car. But then they.
- 48:44Speaker 6: Don't say that you got I understand.
- 48:47Speaker 2: Yeah, And and you know, they think they're fair and
- 48:50Speaker 2: they think they're balanced. But you know, we check out
- 48:53Speaker 2: sponsors very carefully. We make sure they got the money.
- 48:57Speaker 2: And then now actually we're pretty fussy about sponsors. But
- 49:03Speaker 2: NBC News just remember MSNBC no longer connected with NBC.
- 49:06Speaker 2: They were thrown the hell out. They've been evicted from
- 49:09Speaker 2: the building. They're moving to temporary studios in Times Square.
- 49:13Speaker 2: Look for the same thing, by the way, to happen
- 49:14Speaker 2: to CNN. You know, there's this big conglomerate, their own CBS.
- 49:18Speaker 2: They're looking to buy Warner Brothers Discovery, which will include CNN. Now,
- 49:23Speaker 2: the reason they want to buy it. It has the
- 49:24Speaker 2: third biggest streaming service, Warner Brothers has the biggest movie studios,
- 49:29Speaker 2: all this stuff. They want, HBO, all this stuff. But
- 49:32Speaker 2: when they buy it, watch the same thing will happen
- 49:34Speaker 2: with CNN. They'll throw it out of the company, they'll
- 49:36Speaker 2: spin it off just to get rid of it. It's useless.
- 49:39Speaker 2: Let's go to Kevin in Charlotte. Kevin, how you doing Hi?
- 49:44Speaker 18: Good morning Mark. How come nobody has asked Mandami to
- 49:48Speaker 18: name a truly affordable major Western city in the world.
- 49:54Speaker 18: By their nature, they're never going to be affordable. It's
- 49:58Speaker 18: just going to be less bad. It's not going to
- 50:00Speaker 18: ever be affordable.
- 50:01Speaker 2: Yeah. No, Well nobody asks because it's the media, and
- 50:04Speaker 2: they're all Democrats, and they're all secretly pushing from Mamdani.
- 50:08Speaker 2: It's a problem when you have slanted media, partisan media.
- 50:11Speaker 2: They never ever, ever, ever asked the guy any tough questions. Yeah,
- 50:16Speaker 2: you know, that's the other argument if it's not affordable.
- 50:18Speaker 2: Many times the reasons something's not affordable, it's because it's
- 50:22Speaker 2: so great and everybody wants it. You know, like a
- 50:24Speaker 2: Rolex watch is not that affordable because it's the best
- 50:28Speaker 2: watch made and everybody wants one, and you got a
- 50:30Speaker 2: one year waiting list, So it's not so affordable. One
- 50:34Speaker 2: reason in some cities are very affordable, nobody wants to
- 50:37Speaker 2: live there and it costs nothing to live there because
- 50:40Speaker 2: everybody moved out. When your affordability crisis is there, it
- 50:44Speaker 2: means it means people are coming in here spending millions
- 50:47Speaker 2: to live here. Let's go to Bonnie and Tom's River. Bonnie,
- 50:52Speaker 2: how you.
- 50:52Speaker 19: Doing, Hi, good morning. I have a question to ask
- 50:57Speaker 19: you about Mondani. If he can, it's into office and
- 51:01Speaker 19: they prove that there's dark money involved and they replace him.
- 51:05Speaker 19: Who is he replaced with?
- 51:07Speaker 2: Well, they can remove him, believe it or not. Even
- 51:09Speaker 2: if he wins, there's still a chance he'll never serve.
- 51:12Speaker 2: If they can trace that dark foreign money to him,
- 51:15Speaker 2: show that he knew about it and took foreign money,
- 51:18Speaker 2: they can remove him, he will not be the mayor.
- 51:20Speaker 2: I think then we end up with the public advocate,
- 51:23Speaker 2: who's Jimani Williams, who's no bargain either, but better than
- 51:26Speaker 2: mon Donnie. And then I would I'm pretty sure there
- 51:28Speaker 2: would then be a special election. Let me go through
- 51:32Speaker 2: this again, and now, Bonnie, if he's elected, can we
- 51:38Speaker 2: all move to Thomas River. What's good down there?
- 51:41Speaker 20: Ja?
- 51:43Speaker 2: Oh okay, yeah, well good luck with that. We hope,
- 51:45Speaker 2: we hope he wins in New Jersey. Let's go to
- 51:48Speaker 2: Rich and Myrtle Beach. Rich. How you doing?
- 51:51Speaker 12: Hey?
- 51:51Speaker 20: Thanks?
- 51:52Speaker 6: Mark.
- 51:52Speaker 20: You know, if you had a perfect world, you'd have
- 51:53Speaker 20: an eighty percent turnout on tomorrow and then you'd have
- 51:57Speaker 20: a Curtis win. But you know this Mom character, They
- 52:00Speaker 20: got more of him all over the country. This is
- 52:03Speaker 20: a litmus test for the country, and they're going to
- 52:06Speaker 20: try to take over some of these cities like the
- 52:08Speaker 20: London they had did with and allow all the Muslims everybody.
- 52:11Speaker 20: And then they just got plenty more. Mom Donnie's just
- 52:13Speaker 20: waiting to see how this one turns out.
- 52:15Speaker 2: Yeah. Supposedly Soros and company have twenty six more Mom
- 52:17Speaker 2: Donnis lined up to run in various cities. If you
- 52:20Speaker 2: want to see how bad it gets, look at Chicago,
- 52:22Speaker 2: look at London. They've already gone through this disastrous experiment. Oh,
- 52:27Speaker 2: let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing, Good.
- 52:30Speaker 12: Morning, Malcolm. Okay, I agree with you. I believe the
- 52:33Speaker 12: Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree should be an artificial tree because
- 52:38Speaker 12: all these environmentalists they never speak about what about all
- 52:41Speaker 12: the animals that have lived in those trees, the birds
- 52:44Speaker 12: and the other animals for a million years, And now
- 52:47Speaker 12: all of a sudden they don't have a house, And
- 52:50Speaker 12: where do they go? Mark to the first call of
- 52:53Speaker 12: the reason why all our top big cities, they're all
- 52:57Speaker 12: usually democrat, are so unaffordable, you think, guys, thank the
- 53:01Speaker 12: state and local governments with all the freebies there they're
- 53:05Speaker 12: giving away. And speaking of Mondamie, I'm already looking at
- 53:09Speaker 12: real estate in old saybrook Madison, Connecticut. Vincent, No, no, no,
- 53:16Speaker 12: that would just be my place to blow off steam. Mark,
- 53:20Speaker 12: I'm already. I'm seriously, I'm already looking.
- 53:22Speaker 7: I'm serious.
- 53:23Speaker 2: You're an orook type of guy.
- 53:26Speaker 7: Nah.
- 53:26Speaker 12: I mean, look, I the sound isn't far away. I
- 53:31Speaker 12: could go fishing.
- 53:32Speaker 2: Nah, I could see you in Fairfield County, but old
- 53:35Speaker 2: saybrook gets way out there. They got one sort of
- 53:37Speaker 2: nice hotel with a restaurant on the water, but.
- 53:39Speaker 12: They got a nice rest really.
- 53:41Speaker 2: Yeah, there's not much going on. There's a couple of
- 53:43Speaker 2: It wouldn't be for you, all.
- 53:45Speaker 12: Right, Mark, This is one other question. How does Bill
- 53:48Speaker 12: O'Reilly know unless it's an exit poll, which people coldly on,
- 53:52Speaker 12: how did they How does he know that Manhattan Queens
- 53:57Speaker 12: and Brooklyn are going for Mondami because if they released
- 54:01Speaker 12: those results, oh they're breaking sixty percent from a dommy central,
- 54:05Speaker 12: et cetera, that would have disincentivize other people from going out.
- 54:09Speaker 2: And yeah, well he's just there are people doing exit
- 54:11Speaker 2: polling and it's coming from the campaign. So but you're right,
- 54:13Speaker 2: it's not the most reliable. Of course you co lie
- 54:15Speaker 2: on it, Yeah don't.
- 54:17Speaker 12: I'm sure you wouldn't tell somebody who you'd say just
- 54:21Speaker 12: the opposite, just to screwed them up.
- 54:22Speaker 2: Yeah, so that's not always the most reliable method. But
- 54:25Speaker 2: we do know one thing, Vincent, thanks for calling, great call.
- 54:27Speaker 2: We do know one thing. Turnout is five times normal,
- 54:31Speaker 2: so we could get to something like nineteen ninety three. Uh,
- 54:36Speaker 2: was it ninety three or eighty nine. Yeah, the first
- 54:40Speaker 2: time Juliani ran, he lost to dnk It. Second time,
- 54:43Speaker 2: the turnout was incredible. Second time, incredible turnout, and it
- 54:48Speaker 2: just barely put him over the top. So same thing
- 54:50Speaker 2: with Curtis. This is his second time. Anyway, when we
- 54:52Speaker 2: come back to Dean himself, the best political analyst of all,
- 54:55Speaker 2: he's run more campaigns successfully than anyone. We'll talk to
- 55:00Speaker 2: Ed Rollins next on seven to ten W R.
- 55:03Speaker 1: Houstern, New York, Mark Simone.
- 55:07Speaker 2: Wor Well, let's talk to the Dean himself. Ed Rollins
- 55:12Speaker 2: has run the most successful campaigns in the history of
- 55:15Speaker 2: American politics, and he's with us now. Ed Rollins, how
- 55:18Speaker 2: you doing.
- 55:19Speaker 6: Good morning, Mark, I'm good to go.
- 55:22Speaker 2: Yeah. So turnout now reported to be five hundred percent
- 55:26Speaker 2: above usual turnout. What does that mean?
- 55:30Speaker 6: This is great, great animosity towards Mondomi by older voters
- 55:35Speaker 6: and great enthusiasm by younger voters. So he's exactly what
- 55:39Speaker 6: it says. People are out there turning out, voting early,
- 55:42Speaker 6: and I think to a certain extent, could be a
- 55:45Speaker 6: record turnout.
- 55:46Speaker 2: Yeah, is this good? This early voting, people voting. You
- 55:49Speaker 2: know a lot of people like might have missed some
- 55:51Speaker 2: of the things that are developing this week. Should there
- 55:53Speaker 2: be this much early.
- 55:57Speaker 6: Yeah, I think both sides. You're trying to get the
- 55:58Speaker 6: early voting because obviously part of why Trump lost the
- 56:02Speaker 6: first time the second time when he was running for
- 56:05Speaker 6: election was because they didn't do as much focus on
- 56:07Speaker 6: early voting. It's very much a part of the game today,
- 56:11Speaker 6: and in a city like this, particularly where there's no
- 56:14Speaker 6: state wide organization in here, getting getting volunteers to go
- 56:19Speaker 6: out turn on the vote is important. So I always
- 56:23Speaker 6: tell people whenever you get your ballot, whenever you're ready
- 56:25Speaker 6: to vote, go vote. Don't delay it now.
- 56:29Speaker 2: You gotta remember we got the Democratic candidate, and Curtis
- 56:32Speaker 2: is the Republican candidate. Cuomo is a third party candidate.
- 56:36Speaker 2: You ran third party is well, you ran the most
- 56:39Speaker 2: successful third party campaign in history, the ross Boro campaign. Uh.
- 56:43Speaker 6: Well, it would have been more successful if Trump, if
- 56:47Speaker 6: prol would have stayed in the race. You know, he
- 56:49Speaker 6: dropped out and came back again. But away, there's there's
- 56:53Speaker 6: certainly in this this is very Democrat city obviously, and
- 56:57Speaker 6: I think to a certain extent me having a Democrat
- 57:01Speaker 6: nomination and the mine is very important to find Cromo.
- 57:06Speaker 6: And you look at your ballot, it is going to
- 57:09Speaker 6: have se ballants. I mean Clomo's way buried. Didn't see
- 57:13Speaker 6: that it will find him. Yeah, and you still have
- 57:15Speaker 6: you still have the mayor and mayors. Even though he's
- 57:17Speaker 6: dropped out, he's still there, so he'll get some votes.
- 57:20Speaker 6: But right now it's clear it's it's a close race.
- 57:23Speaker 6: It's ten points to what the latest pools show. That's
- 57:25Speaker 6: probably with the private poll show, and that's a competitive race.
- 57:29Speaker 2: Yeah. The only thing I don't think that we're looking
- 57:32Speaker 2: at these junk polls, these college polls, media polls, public polls.
- 57:35Speaker 2: I don't think there's any actual internal polling being done.
- 57:37Speaker 2: Clomo's not spending the money, Curtis isn't, so how do
- 57:40Speaker 2: we really know.
- 57:43Speaker 6: Well, we won't know two elections there to do it. Yeah, yeah,
- 57:47Speaker 6: I mean I agree totally with you. There's too there's
- 57:49Speaker 6: too much, too much polling, and it's not accurately put together.
- 57:54Speaker 6: This is the city, Tell tell me where the votes are.
- 57:56Speaker 6: Tell me where Clmo's votes are. Is Colman doing well
- 57:58Speaker 6: in Staten Island? They're not doing well with State Island?
- 58:00Speaker 6: Still well State Island. Then he's got his part of
- 58:03Speaker 6: his base covered. But older voters clearly will be a
- 58:05Speaker 6: Coma voters, and young voters are clearly going to be
- 58:08Speaker 6: Mondammi's voters. Yeah.
- 58:09Speaker 2: So if you guy like Coloma and you're ten points
- 58:11Speaker 2: behind and you got one week left, what do you
- 58:14Speaker 2: do that final week? How do you how do you
- 58:16Speaker 2: handle that?
- 58:16Speaker 6: Well? You get your ass out there in campaign. You know,
- 58:21Speaker 6: he's got some negative commercials, but there's not much selling him.
- 58:26Speaker 6: I think to a certain extent, people got it parly
- 58:28Speaker 6: little way of copa know how to do the job.
- 58:31Speaker 6: I've seen very few of his commercials. I've seen tons
- 58:34Speaker 6: of Hommi's commercials that.
- 58:37Speaker 2: Whole He's never managed anything, he's never run a large organization.
- 58:40Speaker 2: How effective is that with voters?
- 58:43Speaker 6: Doesn't mean anything. It means something to the older voters.
- 58:46Speaker 6: You know, if you're if you're going to fix up
- 58:49Speaker 6: of those manages you picked the mayor, and mayor just
- 58:51Speaker 6: finished still managing trying to manage the city, and certainly
- 58:55Speaker 6: Calmo did. Colman didn't end on a high note. So
- 58:58Speaker 6: I think to a certain extent, you know, it's two personalities.
- 59:02Speaker 6: It's the danger of the young guy who's claims to
- 59:06Speaker 6: be a socialist in the old guard old guard throughly
- 59:09Speaker 6: the young versus the old guard.
- 59:12Speaker 2: Hey, the idea of Cuomo running, have you ever seen
- 59:14Speaker 2: this before where a guy leaves office in disgrace and scandal.
- 59:17Speaker 2: It's a total disaster, and then five minutes later he's
- 59:19Speaker 2: running again. Have you ever seen that before?
- 59:22Speaker 6: It's happened. It's not the actual pattern to get the like.
- 59:27Speaker 6: But you know, I think my disappointment in Clomo is that,
- 59:31Speaker 6: you know, he's run campaigns, he knows how goes the
- 59:34Speaker 6: city will and knows the steavewell, and yet he's run
- 59:36Speaker 6: kind of a mediocre campaign. And the idea that you
- 59:38Speaker 6: take time off when you get on a race late
- 59:41Speaker 6: is you know, ten days he didn't campaign at all
- 59:43Speaker 6: is systems sir?
- 59:44Speaker 2: Yeah. And the idea of pushing Curtis out of the race, now,
- 59:47Speaker 2: you ran the biggest third party campaign rossbro. Were they
- 59:50Speaker 2: trying to do that? Were they trying to push him
- 59:52Speaker 2: out of the race back?
- 59:53Speaker 20: Then?
- 59:54Speaker 6: Absolutely, but they do aren't successful. They put a lot
- 59:59Speaker 6: of a lot of pressure on me. But at the
- 1:00:01Speaker 6: end of the day it did back.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: And the same thing, like the big big money donors
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: all get ganging up.
- 1:00:08Speaker 6: Doesn't mean anything. I mean, you know, if you think
- 1:00:12Speaker 6: Mondamini's people are going to go drop out of the
- 1:00:16Speaker 6: race for go vote for some mouse because big big
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: money guys are in, there is just the opposite. That's
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: that's their message to the messages. The big big money
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: guys aren't going to run the city.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, Ed Rollins. Nobody has seen more campaigns
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: more racist than you. You got more experience than anybody
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: at this stuff. Is it possible the polls have just
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: gotten this entirely wrong.
- 1:00:36Speaker 6: I wouldn't say they got it totally wrong. I would
- 1:00:38Speaker 6: say that there's momentum going now towards towards CMO that
- 1:00:41Speaker 6: may all alter the race. You always got to remember,
- 1:00:44Speaker 6: polls are four or five points off just simply by
- 1:00:48Speaker 6: the the statistics, So the race could be almost even now,
- 1:00:54Speaker 6: I would I'm not predicting that, but I think I think,
- 1:00:56Speaker 6: I think to a certain extent CLMO. CLMO has it
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: still as a shot.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: Yeah. Now, there is a certain amount of cheating, and
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: the even the Democrats will acknowledge that, you know, a
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: little funny business with the machines that they'll argue it's
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: only one percent or two percent, but could that make
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: a difference because that helped Mom Donnie.
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: One or two percent can make a difference. Yeah, it
- 1:01:17Speaker 6: comes down that closer. Very My sense is he's the
- 1:01:21Speaker 6: question now is he's certainly leadings to a ten point
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: lead the most recent public pool, the suffect pool. But
- 1:01:28Speaker 6: is that is that going to is going to get
- 1:01:30Speaker 6: closer to fifty? Is closer to fifty than survey. Curtis's
- 1:01:34Speaker 6: wilde is going to have a big impact. Curtis's vote
- 1:01:36Speaker 6: has dropped off some hu but it's still still a
- 1:01:38Speaker 6: twelve percent, which is enough to change it. It's a
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: three way race and not a two way race.
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: Now the way that Mam Donnie could have been defeated.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: You need to bombard everybody with negative ads about Mom
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: Donnie just stay and night. When it's usually the big donors,
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: the packs that do that. Where were they? They weren't
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: here in this race.
- 1:01:56Speaker 6: There's some but they're not they're not clear. That's not
- 1:01:58Speaker 6: there's not one or two issues. Uh, I mean, there's
- 1:02:01Speaker 6: there's fifteen different issues. And they've tried to make it
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: too much about racial things that they now have they
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: now have them. You know, his constituents all worked up
- 1:02:12Speaker 6: so you know, And I think the thing the investment,
- 1:02:15Speaker 6: they interest me, all sees support, they understand Pernie Sanders
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: coming in here. Uh. And I think to a certain extent,
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: these young voters are unhappy with what's going on and
- 1:02:25Speaker 6: they turn them on.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: Hey, it's the best campaign manager ever. What is mom?
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: Donnie's secret? Is it the way he talks, the way
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: he looks, the very very charismic.
- 1:02:35Speaker 6: I mean I've watched him quite a few times. I
- 1:02:37Speaker 6: watched the debates. He's very charismatic. You know, call him
- 1:02:41Speaker 6: a socialist doesn't doesn't mean any what's the socialist? You
- 1:02:44Speaker 6: have to go to find that, and you have to
- 1:02:46Speaker 6: you know, they've argued his inexperience, Well, he had thirty
- 1:02:49Speaker 6: four years old. Most of these young people that are
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: going for him don't have a lot of experience. So
- 1:02:52Speaker 6: that's not the issue. The issue is can you get
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: the job done? Is to take the city in the
- 1:02:56Speaker 6: direction you want to go? Uh? And these people want
- 1:02:59Speaker 6: to change.
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: Yeah. Now, if he wins, Yeah, if he wins, will
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: we get will we get through this? Okay?
- 1:03:07Speaker 6: Sure, sure we've had we've had bad majors before. But
- 1:03:12Speaker 6: it's certainly gonna certainly gonna have an impact on the
- 1:03:13Speaker 6: city again, quality quality of life for a lot of people.
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: Yeah, and now Donald Trump, you wouldn't recommend him coming
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: in endorsing Curtis or Cuomo or anything like that. He
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: might have a negative effect. In democratic.
- 1:03:28Speaker 6: He clearly could have negative effects.
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: So huh. You know what about I've pitched this but
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: it got turned out. What about him endorsing mom Donnie?
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: You think that could hurt mom, Donnie?
- 1:03:39Speaker 6: That would hurt the young people think there's a plot,
- 1:03:43Speaker 6: plot scheming that this is always a Trump put plot.
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: So yeah, well the idea was quickly rejected.
- 1:03:51Speaker 6: Yes, the dia is cast.
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: All right, well, Ed Rollins, we'll check with you again.
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: Thanks for the wisdom.
- 1:03:57Speaker 6: And get out, Get out and vote. That's the key thing. Yeah,
- 1:04:01Speaker 6: take your candidate, get out and vote, and learn something
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: about your candidate before you vote. Want.
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: Yeah, that's important. Everybody, get out and vote, Ed Rolins,
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: we'll talk to you again soon. Thanks for being with us. Great,
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: all right, take care. Yeah, well that's important. Get out
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: and vote. Hey, now, besides this mayoral race, this is important.
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: You got to get rid of if you're in Manhattan,
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: you got to get rid of this da Alvin Bragg,
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: who lets all the criminals out. He believes in no
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: jail for criminals. First day in office, he put that
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: out in a memo, we will not seek carceral sentences.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: In other words, so we're not going to put people
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: in jail. You've got to get rid of this Alvin Bragg.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: If you're in Manhattan, vote for Maud Marrin. She's a
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: Republican candidate. She'll turn the DA's office back into law enforcement,
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: putting prisoners, criminals in prison. That'll help if you get
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: Mom Donnie, So make sure you vote for Maud maren
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: Also the city council get rid of as many Democrats
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: replace some of the Republicans. This is a good buffer
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: against anything Mom Donnie could do. So you can get
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: out and vote. Very important. Do it today, do it tomorrow.
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: Get out and vote as soon as you can. Don't
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: forget coming up at noon, Buck and Clay, great show
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: right here on seven to ten WR mister.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: New York mar Simone, he's on sevent ten.
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: Woor Well, hey, what exactly is that Cuomo momentum? Well,
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: the latest poll is it's one of these college poles.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: They're not that great. But Cuomo had been twenty points behind.
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: It shows him rising up to ten points behind. Well,
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: still not great. Ten points behind is ten points behind.
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: One thing that's interesting if you dig into the metrics
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: in the poll, if Curtis were to get out, only
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: thirty six percent of his voters would go to Cuomo
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: according to this poll, Suffolk County Suffolk University poll. So
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: if you add that thirty six percent of Curtis's voters,
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: that gives Cuomo another four points. So if he got
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: Curtis out of the race, he would still lose by
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: six points according to the poll. But we still got time.
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: It looks like about twenty five thirty percent of the
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: voters in in early voting. We'll update you tomorrow. We'll
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: have even more information about it tomorrow. So be listening
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: then now don't go away. Buck and Clay are coming
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: up next with an excellent show at noon. Then you
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: got Sean Hannity, most listened to radio show in America
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: at three, Jesse Kelly. At six, you got Jimmy Fayla
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: does a great show every night nine to midnight. He'll
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: be here at nine. I'll be back tomorrow ten to noon,
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: and I'll talk to you then on seven ten wr
