- 0:14Speaker 2: at Billy on the radio on Instagram. Some people like
- 0:17Speaker 2: to set it up that way. That's what this guy did.
- 0:19Speaker 2: He reached down and he's like, I got a secret
- 0:21Speaker 2: and kind of a situation going.
- 0:23Speaker 1: On, the biggest of six elevens. Yeah, I can't thank
- 0:27Speaker 1: you guys enough for talking to me about it. Well,
- 0:31Speaker 1: So I've been dating my current girlfriend for nine months now,
- 0:34Speaker 1: which is I'm really proud of. But it's starting to
- 0:38Speaker 1: get to the point where after nine months it's like
- 0:39Speaker 1: that's when you really evaluate. You know, what's the next step?
- 0:42Speaker 1: You know, where do we go? That has been almost
- 0:44Speaker 1: a year of our lives, and you know, things are
- 0:47Speaker 1: so good, they're comfortable, they're easy, Like they're so easy.
- 0:51Speaker 1: The problem is my ex reached out, so my past
- 0:55Speaker 1: is kind of creeping up. It's it's telling me for
- 0:59Speaker 1: a loop. So I'm in a really good spot. But
- 1:01Speaker 1: then you hear you know, you get to call from
- 1:04Speaker 1: the person who you were with for five years and
- 1:07Speaker 1: then now I'm kind of freaking out.
- 1:08Speaker 2: So your ex, your ex reached out to you. Why
- 1:11Speaker 2: are you freaking out about it though she's your ex?
- 1:12Speaker 2: I mean, like you've moved on. I don't know.
- 1:14Speaker 1: I mean, yeah I did. It's one of the things
- 1:18Speaker 1: I thought I was fully moved on. And then you
- 1:19Speaker 1: just see the you see the name on the phone,
- 1:21Speaker 1: and you're like, oh, I felt that butterfly and nine
- 1:25Speaker 1: months and so my ex kind of was so comfort context.
- 1:30Speaker 1: My ex was like the one I thought at the time,
- 1:32Speaker 1: which I don't know if you guys, are you know
- 1:33Speaker 1: used to that. Maybe you've had many the ones that
- 1:36Speaker 1: she was the relationship. It's like we didn't break up
- 1:41Speaker 1: because we weren't in love, you know, So why did
- 1:44Speaker 1: you break out? Well, I mean, I I'm already kind
- 1:48Speaker 1: of air and stuff out. She really struggled with alcohol,
- 1:50Speaker 1: you guys, And I'm not perfect myself, but you get
- 1:54Speaker 1: to a point, you know, with someone you care for
- 1:55Speaker 1: so much. I didn't know how to help her other
- 1:59Speaker 1: than like with my actions, you know, I started to
- 2:03Speaker 1: worry about her. It's not like, oh I don't like
- 2:05Speaker 1: when she's drunk around me. No, I'm like worried about
- 2:07Speaker 1: her health.
- 2:08Speaker 3: So it was a big.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Problem, absolutely, I mean it, Yeah, it's like all I
- 2:13Speaker 1: could think about.
- 2:14Speaker 3: You know.
- 2:14Speaker 1: It was just like every time I saw her, like
- 2:16Speaker 1: are you drunk right now? I'm trying to like give
- 2:17Speaker 1: her a kiss of smell her breath, like oh, like
- 2:19Speaker 1: it's pathetic, but you know, you go through the stuff.
- 2:21Speaker 1: So yeah, So we broke up and I just had
- 2:25Speaker 1: to move on, just like forcing myself to be cause,
- 2:28Speaker 1: like I said, I I mean, you guys, I I
- 2:30Speaker 1: she was the one.
- 2:32Speaker 2: So she reaches out. I mean, how do you know
- 2:34Speaker 2: she's she reaches out? What does she say she's not?
- 2:37Speaker 2: I mean she could be drunk dialing you. Now, who knows.
- 2:40Speaker 3: It's sad.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Don't get me wrong, but no, I'd be lying if
- 2:44Speaker 1: I said that didn't cross my mind. She's adamant that
- 2:47Speaker 1: she's sober, So like, we didn't really beat around the bush.
- 2:50Speaker 1: She kind of wanted to call just to yeah, and
- 2:54Speaker 1: that's the thing that that was the crux, that's what happened.
- 2:57Speaker 1: So she's adamant she's sober. She does sound different over
- 3:00Speaker 1: the phone, but also you know until I look in
- 3:02Speaker 1: her eyes, I don't. I don't know, but yeah, it's
- 3:04Speaker 1: like you don't prepare for something like that. I'm I'm
- 3:06Speaker 1: moved on with someone. I'm really happy. But then my
- 3:09Speaker 1: axe is telling me that she's figured out the reason
- 3:11Speaker 1: that we split up. So it's like, do I have
- 3:13Speaker 1: to should I myself?
- 3:15Speaker 3: Wow?
- 3:16Speaker 1: You know?
- 3:17Speaker 3: So okay? That adds a different elements.
- 3:20Speaker 4: He's got clarity now, right, So.
- 3:22Speaker 2: She reaches out to you and basically says, hey, I'm
- 3:26Speaker 2: sober now I'm myself again, which this is incredibly sad.
- 3:30Speaker 2: Good for her first of all that she got sober,
- 3:33Speaker 2: but now I understand why it's more of a dilemma
- 3:35Speaker 2: than just my ex reached out.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I want what if what if I do? You know,
- 3:40Speaker 1: what if I do go and talk to my ex,
- 3:41Speaker 1: my current and she's not okay? And then that's a
- 3:45Speaker 1: gamble that I lose out on, And then, you know,
- 3:46Speaker 1: how do I explain to my current girlfriend? You know,
- 3:50Speaker 1: I've been losing sleep over my ex.
- 3:51Speaker 2: So you're thinking about going to meet up or talk
- 3:55Speaker 2: to your ex and see how you feel or talk
- 3:57Speaker 2: about things.
- 3:58Speaker 1: My gut says, I owe it to myself and I
- 4:01Speaker 1: was with her for five years, so it's like my
- 4:02Speaker 1: gut says, I owe it to most of my twenties.
- 4:05Speaker 1: But I also could shoot myself and end up alone
- 4:08Speaker 1: with neither of them. I really freaking confused.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Right now, guys.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Well, I mean my my, My theory is this take
- 4:15Speaker 2: your I know, it's hard to take your ex out
- 4:17Speaker 2: of the equation.
- 4:17Speaker 3: It doesn't matter who. This is the fact that you are.
- 4:20Speaker 2: If you were really truly in love with your new girlfriend,
- 4:24Speaker 2: you wouldn't even be thinking about this, in my.
- 4:26Speaker 3: Opinion, wouldn't even give it a second thought. You would
- 4:28Speaker 3: be just, hey, you know, that ship is sailed.
- 4:31Speaker 2: It's sad, but I'm in love and I am in
- 4:33Speaker 2: love with this with my new girlfriend, and I things
- 4:36Speaker 2: are getting serious. But the fact that you're even questioning it,
- 4:40Speaker 2: even if you don't get back with your ex, I
- 4:42Speaker 2: don't know if this is the one, right.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Yeah, that's uh, well, you're here something that's like that's
- 4:48Speaker 1: probably what my subconscious wanted to hear, but it's like, ah,
- 4:51Speaker 1: I don't only hear it.
- 4:52Speaker 2: And I'm happy she got sober, and that's then I
- 4:55Speaker 2: you know, I've seen this happen, you know with people
- 4:58Speaker 2: who have kind of gotten their life together, thankfully, and
- 5:01Speaker 2: they come to their senses and go, wow, I messed up.
- 5:03Speaker 2: And whether it was a relationship or friends or whatever,
- 5:06Speaker 2: they come back around and they're like, I'm sorry, and
- 5:09Speaker 2: it's I don't know, what can you do? You had
- 5:11Speaker 2: to move on because for yourself.
- 5:13Speaker 4: Right, And if I'm the new girlfriend, I don't want
- 5:15Speaker 4: to be stuck in the middle of this. No, you
- 5:17Speaker 4: know what I mean.
- 5:17Speaker 3: I don't want to know.
- 5:18Speaker 4: That your this is even happening.
- 5:20Speaker 2: And you can't tell her. I mean, honestly, why what's
- 5:23Speaker 2: the point. But if you meet up with her, to me,
- 5:26Speaker 2: that's deceiving and not cool. Yeah, if you're still with
- 5:31Speaker 2: your girlfriend, I.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Should tell her. If I do that, yeah, definitely nothing wrong.
- 5:36Speaker 1: She's I mean, she's awesome as the.
- 5:38Speaker 3: Well someone can be awesome and not for you.
- 5:40Speaker 1: M h. And I think you're right.
- 5:42Speaker 2: I'm not saying that that's the case. But well, so
- 5:45Speaker 2: you're kind of undecided on whether you should meet up
- 5:47Speaker 2: with her or talk to her anymore, or you're or
- 5:49Speaker 2: you're you know you're going either way. Can you do
- 5:51Speaker 2: me a favor and can you give us a follow up?
- 5:53Speaker 2: I'm not going to make you, you know, make a
- 5:55Speaker 2: decision right now obviously, but can you give us a
- 5:57Speaker 2: follow up and let us know what you decide to do?
- 6:01Speaker 1: Absolutely? Yeah, I need to really think about that because I,
- 6:06Speaker 1: like I said, I think you guys probably said what
- 6:08Speaker 1: my subconscious wanting to.
- 6:09Speaker 4: I think I know where you're heart is, Like you
- 6:13Speaker 4: have a little spark that you even yourself hasn't felt
- 6:16Speaker 4: in a while. I mean, there's like an energy about
- 6:19Speaker 4: you that I feel like I can tell.
- 6:21Speaker 2: When you call somebody the one, right, the one and
- 6:23Speaker 2: it's not your current partner.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I can absolutely give you as a callback.
- 6:27Speaker 3: I think check in with us tomorrow.
- 6:28Speaker 2: I mean even if you can check in with us
- 6:30Speaker 2: tomorrow or I don't know, just let us just let
- 6:32Speaker 2: us know when you can.
- 6:33Speaker 3: I'll give you our private lence you can call up
- 6:35Speaker 3: right away.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, all right, hold on.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Stay there, give it that.
- 6:40Speaker 2: I just have a feeling somewhat one of these girls
- 6:42Speaker 2: gonna have a bad Valentine's Day.
