- 1:00Speaker 3: at 3.30, talking Mississippi State. Looks like it's going to
- 1:03Speaker 3: be A.J. Swan, or at least that's what the feel
- 1:05Speaker 3: is for Mississippi State Saturday versus Texas. We've been trying
- 1:09Speaker 3: to come up with a good tagline for Swan. And
- 1:14Speaker 3: Mike Grace will join us to talk SEC football in
- 1:16Speaker 3: the next segment. Chris Landrieu will join us tomorrow. Text
- 1:20Speaker 3: is 601-885-3776. That is the Cowboy Maloney's text line. If
- 1:23Speaker 3: you missed it, the MHSA has dropped their reclassifications for
- 1:26Speaker 3: next year. Happens every two years. Brandon Shields, as Brandon
- 1:30Speaker 3: Shields does with the notes on this. Let me just
- 1:32Speaker 3: read through them. They're not long. This is kind of
- 1:35Speaker 3: the synopsis of the whole thing. And by the way,
- 1:39Speaker 3: JC wants to know what Shucker's mascot would be. Would
- 1:41Speaker 3: it be Cougars or the Clams? Probably Cougars. Shields notes
- 1:46Speaker 3: on the reclass, no school jumped from 6A to 7A.
- 1:51Speaker 3: So you did not have a 6A school move to 7.
- 1:53Speaker 3: Pearl drops from 7 to 6A. That's the biggest headline
- 1:57Speaker 3: in all this. Pearl Pirates will be 6A next year
- 2:01Speaker 3: in every sport. Beaver's not a fan. Cleveland Central moves
- 2:06Speaker 3: from 5A to 6A. Neshoba Central and Greenville drops from
- 2:10Speaker 3: 6A to 5A. Remember, all this is done on student pop.
- 2:17Speaker 3: How many kids you have? 9 through 12 or 10
- 2:19Speaker 3: through 12 or whatever they look at. Actually, I think
- 2:21Speaker 3: it's 9 through 11. I think I remember Tim Schrammack
- 2:24Speaker 3: telling me that. It was 9 through 11. Greenwood moves
- 2:27Speaker 3: from 5A to 4A. Summerall, Northeast Jones, and Purvis drop
- 2:32Speaker 3: back down from 4A to 5A. So they move from
- 2:37Speaker 3: 5 to 4. Summerall, Northeast Jones, Purvis. Boneville and St.
- 2:42Speaker 3: Stanislaus move from 4A to 3A. Ripley, Mendenhall, and Rosafort
- 2:48Speaker 3: go to 3A from 4A. So Mendenhall is now 3A,
- 2:54Speaker 3: along with Rosafort and Ripley. Clarkdale and Meridian moves up
- 3:00Speaker 3: to 3A from 2A. North Tippa, where's that at? You
- 3:05Speaker 3: ever been to Tippa? They'll be 3A. Aberdeen and Ruleville
- 3:09Speaker 3: dropped from 2A from 3A. Byers, Vardaman, Riverside, and Bogochitta
- 3:18Speaker 3: moved from 1A to 2A. And Hamilton, Jay-Z, George, Velma Jackson,
- 3:22Speaker 3: and Leland dropped from 1A to 2A. There you go.
- 3:25Speaker 3: There's your notes on that. 601-885-3776 is the Cowboy Maloney's
- 3:27Speaker 3: text line. 15 thoughts after week 8, courtesy of Ari
- 3:30Speaker 3: Wasserman and On3. Oregon's frustration, Texas revival, three lost CFP teams,
- 3:40Speaker 3: and more. JC sends us a picture still looking at me.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Swan.
- 3:46Speaker 3: What is that off of? Do you know? What movie
- 3:49Speaker 3: that is?
- 3:50Speaker 2: Well, that's exactly what you asked me one hour ago.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Oh, that's the same movie.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Stop looking at me, Swan.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Okay, same thing. Billy Madison.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Correct? Yeah. Okay.
- 4:01Speaker 3: And I may ask you that before the... I'm sure
- 4:03Speaker 3: you will.
- 4:03Speaker 2: There's 57 minutes left.
- 4:06Speaker 3: I may hit it one more time. All right, let's
- 4:08Speaker 3: see here. One, 15 things coming out of the weekend.
- 4:13Speaker 3: The frustration of being an Oregon fan. In each of
- 4:16Speaker 3: the past two seasons, Oregon assembled one of the best
- 4:19Speaker 3: teams in college football, only to be blown out in
- 4:21Speaker 3: the playoff by the eventual national champion. It was Ohio
- 4:24Speaker 3: State two years ago, Indiana last year. After those playoff losses,
- 4:28Speaker 3: as frustrating as they were, Duck fans could stay encouraged
- 4:33Speaker 3: about the future as long as Oregon kept amassing elite talent.
- 4:37Speaker 3: It would be eventually the best team in the country.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Or would it? Well, things have gone south for Dan Lanning,
- 4:45Speaker 3: and there is a lot of frustration in Oregon. All
- 4:49Speaker 3: Oregon had to do was stay consistent and field a
- 4:51Speaker 3: team like those from the last two years. Instead, it
- 4:53Speaker 3: has been a team that is essentially eliminated from the
- 4:56Speaker 3: playoff before November. I don't know that anybody saw that coming.
- 5:04Speaker 3: Buffalo Chris says, thanks, Keith. And he sends us a ticket.
- 5:10Speaker 3: That's a good payout. Tennessee at South Carolina. Took South
- 5:14Speaker 3: Carolina minus two and a half. BYU at Central Florida.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Took Central Florida plus eight. How about that, B? A
- 5:19Speaker 3: two-game parlay winner. That's pretty good. That's pretty good. Thank you, Chris,
- 5:24Speaker 3: for sending that over. The Big Ten. The Big Ten.
- 5:29Speaker 3: When you look at the Big Ten, Oregon is basically
- 5:32Speaker 3: out of the playoff contention. Ohio State is trying to
- 5:34Speaker 3: figure out who it is without quarterback Julian saying. Indiana
- 5:37Speaker 3: is playing Big Ten West football against an offensive-less Michigan team.
- 5:42Speaker 3: Penn State is 0-4 in the conference, and USC got
- 5:44Speaker 3: boat raced by Wisconsin. UCLA is one of the three
- 5:50Speaker 3: teams still unbeaten in the country, but this conference wants
- 5:53Speaker 3: a top-heavy conference, at least going into the season. doesn't
- 5:58Speaker 3: seem poised to extend its national championship streak to four
- 6:01Speaker 3: years straight. Ohio State and Indiana still seem like the
- 6:04Speaker 3: two best candidates to get it done, but if you
- 6:06Speaker 3: compare those teams to last year's versions, it's not even
- 6:09Speaker 3: close right now. Michigan, after Michigan repeatedly shot itself in
- 6:15Speaker 3: the foot offensively in overtime and a loss to Indiana,
- 6:19Speaker 3: the Wolverines certainly could have won. Head coach Kyle Whittingham
- 6:22Speaker 3: says this, quote, if that's the number six team in
- 6:25Speaker 3: the country, then we're pretty good at football, even though
- 6:28Speaker 3: we're still sitting here at four and three.
- 6:30Speaker 2: No, you're not.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Michigan, you're not any good. BYU got to enjoy being
- 6:36Speaker 3: ranked in the top five for seven days, a week
- 6:39Speaker 3: after beating Notre Dame and capturing one of the biggest
- 6:41Speaker 3: wins in program history, legitimizing itself and the Big 12.
- 6:45Speaker 3: It had to fly across the country to play Central Florida.
- 6:47Speaker 3: The Cougars fought hard, but was beaten. Texas Tech also
- 6:52Speaker 3: beaten over the weekend. Utah, the only undefeated team in
- 6:57Speaker 3: conference play and undefeated in the Big 12 right now.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Speaking of Big 12, the conference still has five teams
- 7:04Speaker 3: with one loss or fewer in conference play. Utah, BYU, Arizona,
- 7:08Speaker 3: Texas Tech, and Oklahoma State. If someone tells you they
- 7:11Speaker 3: don't know who will win the conference, they're a liar.
- 7:14Speaker 3: Or if they tell you they know who's going to
- 7:16Speaker 3: win it, they're going to be a liar. It'll be
- 7:18Speaker 3: a fast finish in the Big 12. Given how everyone
- 7:21Speaker 3: is beating each other up across the country, the Big
- 7:23Speaker 3: 12 realistically seems like a two-bid league this year. And
- 7:27Speaker 3: I would say that that is probably right. How about Texas?
- 7:32Speaker 3: After a big win over Ole Miss on Saturday night
- 7:34Speaker 3: in front of a big crowd, the Longhorns were able
- 7:40Speaker 3: to pull it together. Arch Manning was able to pull
- 7:43Speaker 3: it together. After losing consecutive games to Oklahoma and Florida
- 7:46Speaker 3: and putting a struggling offense on tap, The Longhorns came
- 7:50Speaker 3: out in the first half against the Rebs and looked
- 7:53Speaker 3: like they were world beaters that many thought they could be.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Arch Manning, who entered the game in the danger zone
- 7:58Speaker 3: of being benched, played with an edge, throwing for 212
- 8:01Speaker 3: yards and a touchdown, and running for two more scores.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Did you see any of his Holly Rowe interviews that
- 8:06Speaker 3: he had to do? He looked very uncomfortable. I think
- 8:09Speaker 3: he hates that lady. I think privately he can't stand her,
- 8:13Speaker 3: and I don't blame him. How about LSU? LSU and
- 8:18Speaker 3: Lane Kiffin The Tigers are still in this after LSU's
- 8:22Speaker 3: beat down of Auburn. The team that beat Georgia on
- 8:25Speaker 3: the road the previous weekend. Wasserman says he started to
- 8:29Speaker 3: think what we might have. He said it was easy
- 8:33Speaker 3: to mock Kiffin in the spring when he pleaded for patience.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Maybe that patience has taken off. Let's see. JC real
- 8:40Speaker 3: quick with an image. That is correct. And Jason in Flagstaff.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Let's see. Jason sends us a photo of his MSU gear,
- 8:53Speaker 3: and he said it's way too late for that nonsense.
- 8:58Speaker 3: I guess talking about another team, if we were going
- 9:00Speaker 3: to do that, it wouldn't be Arizona. Talking about switching teams,
- 9:04Speaker 3: it'd be BYU. So I could marry a baker's dozen
- 9:08Speaker 3: of those smoking hot Mormon chicks out here. Well, at
- 9:10Speaker 3: least he's honest. And Patrick, wait until Texas plays state.
- 9:15Speaker 3: They'll look like a national championship team. It's possible. And
- 9:20Speaker 3: more bully.
- 9:21Speaker 4: One more.
- 9:22Speaker 3: Holly Rowe broke up with Cooper. I don't know that
- 9:25Speaker 3: Holly Rowe was dating Cooper Manning, was he? Was she?
- 9:31Speaker 3: And JC, Jake, why don't we continue the Holly Rowe experiment?
- 9:34Speaker 3: She's entering Beth Moen's territory. She's awful. No, she's almost
- 9:39Speaker 3: past Beth Moen's at this point. Which one would you take?
- 9:44Speaker 3: If you had to keep one, who do you keep?
- 9:45Speaker 3: Beth Moen's or Holly Rowe?
- 9:48Speaker 2: It's still Holly Rowe.
- 9:51Speaker 4: Just because of that one week of nonsense, you're letting
- 9:56Speaker 4: that overshadow our seven years of.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Of data on Beth Moen's. You know what?
- 10:07Speaker 4: It's been so long because seven years ago is when
- 10:12Speaker 4: you started avoiding Beth Moen's games.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Therefore, you've forgotten just how bad that voice is.
- 10:19Speaker 3: That's true.
- 10:20Speaker 2: I haven't heard it. I'll still say she is worse
- 10:23Speaker 2: than Holly Rowe.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Fair enough.
- 10:25Speaker 3: All right, we'll keep Holly Rowe for the time being.
- 10:28Speaker 3: Beth Moen stays gone. Brought to you by Ranco Transmission,
- 10:30Speaker 3: 1460 Old Brandon Road in Flowood, 601-939-9184. 53 plus years
- 10:34Speaker 3: foreign and domestic transmission repair. Mike Grace with the Press
- 10:38Speaker 3: Box will join us. We'll talk SEC football coming up next.
- 10:41Speaker 3: And action! We got that and a whole lot more
- 10:44Speaker 3: around here. It's the Afternoon Drive with Jake Wimberly.
- 10:47Speaker 2: What's the score?
- 10:48Speaker 3: He's got that along with.
- 10:49Speaker 2: The hottest sports stories of the day.
- 10:50Speaker 3: On ESPN 105.9 The Zone and online at thezone1059.

- 11:28Speaker 3: protection plan today. Big or small business, let BCI go
- 11:31Speaker 3: to work for you and your team today. Mike Grace,
- 11:35Speaker 3: he is the host of the Press Box. You can
- 11:36Speaker 3: hear him at nights right here on 105.9 The Zone. And,
- 11:40Speaker 3: of course, they've got their website, all kinds of great content. Mike,
- 11:43Speaker 3: thank you so much, brother. How you doing?
- 11:45Speaker 1: I'm doing good, man. I'm above ground. So that's a
- 11:47Speaker 1: good thing. You know what I'm saying?
- 11:48Speaker 3: There is no doubt. All right, let's talk some SEC football.
- 11:51Speaker 3: We'll start in Starkville where we visited with David Murray.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Gene's page, 247sports. com, hour one. It looks like A.J. Swan
- 11:59Speaker 3: may be the guy this weekend. Your take on everything
- 12:03Speaker 3: going on in Starkville with Kamario Taylor. I mean, we
- 12:05Speaker 3: don't know if he's going to– probably not going to
- 12:07Speaker 3: be healthy the rest of the year with the injury
- 12:08Speaker 3: he's got. Now they pivot likely to A.J.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Swan. I just think back to last year, I think
- 12:14Speaker 1: it was turf tow that cost Joe Burrow eight games
- 12:17Speaker 1: in his National Football League schedule. So if this is
- 12:21Speaker 1: turf tow, and I don't know that we've ever really
- 12:22Speaker 1: verified that, but it's what the word is, then we
- 12:25Speaker 1: really shouldn't expect Camario back. Look, I give him all
- 12:29Speaker 1: the credit in the world for wanting to play this
- 12:31Speaker 1: past week, but I really do wonder if it was
- 12:34Speaker 1: in his best interest. It was obvious he could not
- 12:36Speaker 1: move well. And just spend your time coming up with
- 12:39Speaker 1: game plans. that can benefit those other guys. I thought
- 12:43Speaker 1: the Puckett was not bad when he threw on time.
- 12:46Speaker 1: The numbers won't blow you away, 17-24 for 158 yards,
- 12:50Speaker 1: the one touchdown, the one interception. But when he threw
- 12:52Speaker 1: on time, I thought he did fine. If he had
- 12:54Speaker 1: to kind of go through his progressions, it wasn't so great.
- 12:57Speaker 1: But I know this is, again, great to have Fluff
- 12:59Speaker 1: Boswell back. And, look, A.J. Swan's a guy who battled
- 13:02Speaker 1: for a starting role at Vanderbilt, and I would think
- 13:05Speaker 1: that Jeff Levy and his offensive coaches can find a
- 13:07Speaker 1: game plan for the young man, see if he can
- 13:09Speaker 1: help out.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Visiting with Mike Gracie is the host of the Press
- 13:13Speaker 3: Box Monday edition of the program. All right, Ole Miss,
- 13:15Speaker 3: they will be back home taking on Auburn, their significant
- 13:19Speaker 3: favorite in Vegas out the gate against Auburn. Took it
- 13:21Speaker 3: on the chin to Texas. Auburn, likewise, took it on
- 13:24Speaker 3: the chin to LSU. Ole Miss in a must-win situation
- 13:27Speaker 3: now at 5-2.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Well, and I learned this afternoon, Kwon Lacey will not
- 13:32Speaker 1: play this upcoming weekend against Auburn is what I'm hearing.
- 13:36Speaker 1: He was held at just 36 yards on 16 carries
- 13:39Speaker 1: against Texas. And you know what he means to this offense.
- 13:41Speaker 1: You go back to the win over Missouri when he
- 13:43Speaker 1: came back from injury, 122 yards on just 16 totes
- 13:47Speaker 1: in that matchup. So, you know, Trinidad Chambliss might be
- 13:50Speaker 1: the best player in the country, but he's a little
- 13:53Speaker 1: bit of a different player. When Kwon Lacey's not in
- 13:54Speaker 1: that backfield with him, we'll see how that Ole Miss
- 13:56Speaker 1: offense can hold up against Auburn this weekend.
- 13:59Speaker 3: There's no doubt it's intrigue everywhere. Speaking of intrigue, let's
- 14:02Speaker 3: go around the league. Kentucky 5-1, 7-1 overall score. Mike,
- 14:08Speaker 3: there's a couple teams in the country that we didn't
- 14:09Speaker 3: see coming. UCLA's one of the Big Ten. Kentucky's one
- 14:12Speaker 3: of the SEC. How good is this Cats team?
- 14:16Speaker 1: You know, I think they're pretty good. And when you
- 14:17Speaker 1: look at what they've got left, they've still got to
- 14:19Speaker 1: go to Tennessee. They get Florida home. They've got to
- 14:22Speaker 1: go to Missouri. Okay, those are three tough games, there's
- 14:24Speaker 1: no doubt. But this Kentucky team is definitely in play
- 14:27Speaker 1: for a CFP playoff. Look, they're one loss to Bama.
- 14:31Speaker 1: And look, it was by 28. But remember... The first half,
- 14:34Speaker 1: they looked great against the tide, just had some second-half
- 14:36Speaker 1: issues that caught up with them there. You know, everybody
- 14:39Speaker 1: told me during the offseason to watch out for UCLA,
- 14:42Speaker 1: that Bob Chesney was going to make a difference and
- 14:44Speaker 1: make a quick difference out there. I don't know that
- 14:46Speaker 1: we thought Will Stein could do it. He certainly thought
- 14:48Speaker 1: he could. He stood up at SEC Football Media Days
- 14:50Speaker 1: and said the reason they're going to be better was him.
- 14:53Speaker 1: He was going to make them better, a little Kurt Cignetti-ish,
- 14:56Speaker 1: and lo and behold, he knew what he was talking about.
- 14:58Speaker 1: He's backed it up so far.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Georgia takes on Florida this weekend in the cocktail party.
- 15:03Speaker 3: 6-1 Georgia coming off a loss to Auburn. Florida, they're
- 15:07Speaker 3: coming off a win. And then when you look at
- 15:10Speaker 3: these two, Florida 5-2, Georgia 6-1. Georgia's the favorite. Can
- 15:14Speaker 3: Florida take this into the fourth quarter? Can they challenge Georgia?
- 15:18Speaker 1: Look, I think that Georgia loss to Auburn might have
- 15:20Speaker 1: been just exactly what Kirby Smart wanted for his team.
- 15:24Speaker 1: He wanted to get their attention, especially with this bye
- 15:26Speaker 1: week going on. They've been shooing on that 27-24 upset
- 15:30Speaker 1: loss at home to the Auburn Tigers. So I think
- 15:33Speaker 1: Kirby's going to have his team ready. And I really
- 15:35Speaker 1: do think they're the one team in the SEC, to me,
- 15:38Speaker 1: that is above the rest of the pack. There's a
- 15:41Speaker 1: lot of other teams that could make the CFP, but
- 15:44Speaker 1: I got a feeling Georgia's the best one of them all.
- 15:47Speaker 3: Mike, Alabama and LSU are in the clubhouse this weekend
- 15:50Speaker 3: taking a break. They'll play each other on the 7th
- 15:53Speaker 3: of November. Both sit. with two losses, is that a
- 15:57Speaker 3: de facto play-in game for the college football playoff?
- 16:01Speaker 1: You would think it's kind of got to be, although
- 16:03Speaker 1: the way things are going, Jake, we may have more
- 16:06Speaker 1: than one three-loss team in this year's field of 12.
- 16:10Speaker 1: So maybe so. I just know this. I mean, Lane
- 16:13Speaker 1: Kiffin's team is beginning to come around, man. They had
- 16:16Speaker 1: some issues early on, but Sam Levitt looks as healthy
- 16:18Speaker 1: as he's been all year. His last two outings have
- 16:21Speaker 1: been outstanding through the air. And at the same time,
- 16:24Speaker 1: Bama's still got some issues, man. They still have trouble
- 16:26Speaker 1: running the football. That's not been an issue for LSU.
- 16:29Speaker 1: They've been fantastic the last couple of weeks with their
- 16:32Speaker 1: young guy in the backfield. So I hate to say it,
- 16:35Speaker 1: but I think LSU might have the edge against the
- 16:36Speaker 1: Tide this weekend.
- 16:38Speaker 3: South Carolina upends Tennessee over the weekend, and we're visiting
- 16:41Speaker 3: with Mike Gracie as the host of the Press Box
- 16:42Speaker 3: Monday edition of the program. Stream us on thezone1059. com. Two things.
- 16:47Speaker 3: South Carolina, did Shane Beamer save his job? He's now
- 16:50Speaker 3: four and three. They've won two in a row. Tennessee
- 16:53Speaker 3: falls to six and two. Boy, it really gets tight
- 16:57Speaker 3: on the pants there for Tennessee as far as college
- 16:59Speaker 3: football playoff aspirations.
- 17:02Speaker 1: And Jake, I've asked that question to everyone we've talked
- 17:05Speaker 1: to about the South Carolina team. And the folks inside
- 17:08Speaker 1: the arena, inside that administration building, they tell me that
- 17:13Speaker 1: He's never been on the hot seat. Again, the folks
- 17:18Speaker 1: in that administrative office like Shane Beamer. They want to
- 17:21Speaker 1: keep Shane Beamer. He's never really been in jeopardy of
- 17:24Speaker 1: losing his job. It certainly looked iffy early on with
- 17:27Speaker 1: a couple of losses that team had, but now with
- 17:30Speaker 1: back-to-back wins over ranked teams, it would be a stretch.
- 17:33Speaker 1: But if these guys could run the table, and look,
- 17:35Speaker 1: they've got a ways to go, but if they somehow
- 17:37Speaker 1: end up 8-4 at the end of the year, you
- 17:38Speaker 1: look at their losses, you look at the wins they've
- 17:40Speaker 1: got over ranked teams, It'd be hard to keep them
- 17:42Speaker 1: out of a 12-team playoff.
- 17:44Speaker 3: And when you look at Texas A & M, I mean,
- 17:46Speaker 3: I don't think Mike Elko's in any danger, I don't think,
- 17:49Speaker 3: of losing his job. And we're starting to see those
- 17:51Speaker 3: jobs open up with Baylor and NC State and some others.
- 17:54Speaker 3: But Texas A & M, how do you kind of
- 17:56Speaker 3: define them this year? Boy, they have been a shell
- 17:59Speaker 3: of what they were last year.
- 18:01Speaker 1: They really have. And as far as the Elko thing,
- 18:03Speaker 1: I mean, I think the buyout is astronomical, and they've
- 18:07Speaker 1: already done that with Jimbo. So I don't know that
- 18:09Speaker 1: they're going to do it. I know there's a lot
- 18:10Speaker 1: of money in Texas. But I don't know that there's
- 18:13Speaker 1: that much we'll see. But, you know, Marcel Reed has
- 18:15Speaker 1: not been himself. I mean, that's one thing kind of
- 18:18Speaker 1: going back to South Carolina. Their renaissance here the last
- 18:21Speaker 1: couple of weeks has been precipitated by the return of
- 18:24Speaker 1: Lenore Sellers and the Lenore Sellers that we thought we
- 18:27Speaker 1: would get with South Carolina. We've yet to see that
- 18:29Speaker 1: from Marcel Reed at Texas A & M. And without him,
- 18:33Speaker 1: I don't know how they win, certainly this weekend.
- 18:37Speaker 3: A couple minutes left here with Mike Gracie as the
- 18:38Speaker 3: host of the Press Box. We're going to tell you
- 18:40Speaker 3: where you can find his show here in just a bit. Mike,
- 18:42Speaker 3: we've got the 2014 playoff. It looks like it's going
- 18:44Speaker 3: to happen. Where are you on this?
- 18:47Speaker 1: I've got to be honest, Jake. I'm coming around to it. Originally,
- 18:51Speaker 1: I was not a big fan. My thought was that
- 18:53Speaker 1: it would diminish the regular season. You think back to
- 18:56Speaker 1: two weeks ago when we had all those teams in
- 18:58Speaker 1: the top ten that lost, that that wouldn't make as
- 19:01Speaker 1: big an impact next year in a 2014 playoff as
- 19:03Speaker 1: it does this year with a 12-team playoff. But I'm
- 19:06Speaker 1: beginning to come around. The results of these last two weeks,
- 19:08Speaker 1: especially this last Saturday, look, there's going to be some
- 19:11Speaker 1: three and four loss teams that deserve a chance to
- 19:14Speaker 1: play for a national title. You tell me again, if
- 19:16Speaker 1: I go back to South Carolina, if they could run
- 19:18Speaker 1: the table and get to eight and four, they deserve
- 19:21Speaker 1: a shot. In a 12-team field, it's going to be iffy.
- 19:23Speaker 1: In a 24-team field, you've got to believe they're in there.
- 19:26Speaker 1: And I think they deserve a chance to do it.
- 19:28Speaker 1: I know the NFL loves the any given Sunday kind
- 19:30Speaker 1: of deal, and it's beginning to be like that in
- 19:32Speaker 1: college football, any given Saturday or Thursday or Monday or
- 19:36Speaker 1: Tuesday or Friday, depending on which conference you're in. Any
- 19:39Speaker 1: team can just about eat anybody, and that's what the
- 19:42Speaker 1: NIL deal has done. It's what the transfer portal has done.
- 19:46Speaker 1: You just don't have teams loading up on four and
- 19:48Speaker 1: five stars like you used to. They're spread out, and
- 19:51Speaker 1: now all teams are good, or at least there are
- 19:54Speaker 1: a lot of good teams out there, that's for sure.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Mike, before we let you out of here, tell everybody
- 19:58Speaker 3: where they can find your content. You guys are putting
- 20:00Speaker 3: out great content daily. Of course, you can hear it
- 20:02Speaker 3: right here at night on 105.9 The Zone.
- 20:05Speaker 1: It is PressBoxRadio.com Monday, Wednesday, Friday at Mississippi State's Bart
- 20:09Speaker 1: Heitsch and Colin Lacey out of Statesboro, Georgia with me.
- 20:12Speaker 1: My Tuesday, Thursday co-hosts are Jason Powers out of Tampa, Florida,
- 20:15Speaker 1: and Mike Mote here in just suburban Atlanta, Georgia. So
- 20:19Speaker 1: we're looking forward to tomorrow. We've got some great guests,
- 20:21Speaker 1: including Aaron Murray, the former Georgia quarterback, all-time leading passer
- 20:24Speaker 1: in the SEC in yards and touchdowns. We'll talk about
- 20:27Speaker 1: that cocktail party, the outdoor cocktail party, which is going
- 20:30Speaker 1: indoors this year with Mercedes-Benz Dome Stadium hosting it.
- 20:34Speaker 3: Mike, always appreciate your time. Thank you so much, and look,
- 20:36Speaker 3: we'll do it again soon.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Right back at you, guys. Appreciate it.

- 20:52Speaker 3: if you want to see. The reclassification's here for the
- 20:55Speaker 3: next two years in the MHSA. Back in a moment.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Turning to sports. With Jake Wimberly on the afternoon drive.
- 21:00Speaker 1: One of the last pure pleasures I have left in
- 21:02Speaker 1: my life.
- 21:03Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe you ought to get a life first, okay?
- 21:05Speaker 2: On ESPN 105.9 The Zone and online at TheZone1059.
- 21:06Speaker 5: Com.

- 21:42Speaker 3: everything you need to make your house a home at
- 21:44Speaker 3: Cowboy Maloney's. 30 minutes or less, most items in stock.
- 21:47Speaker 3: Professional sales team at Cowboy Maloney's. Text to 601-885-3776. On
- 21:53Speaker 3: the Cowboy Maloney's text line, we're brought to you by
- 21:54Speaker 3: Maristar Casino. All right, three lost teams in the playoff.
- 21:59Speaker 3: That's starting to become a big conversation piece because, We
- 22:03Speaker 3: just don't know how the committee is going to deal
- 22:04Speaker 3: with it. On three reports, we haven't seen yet any
- 22:09Speaker 3: three lost teams make the 12-team college football playoff. That's
- 22:12Speaker 3: likely to change this season. And the last two teams
- 22:16Speaker 3: that they talked about, that we talked about before we
- 22:18Speaker 3: had Mike Grace on Texas and LSU, may have the
- 22:21Speaker 3: resumes needed to make that happen. College football is more
- 22:25Speaker 3: frantic this year than in any other time in recent memory.
- 22:29Speaker 3: It's starting to feel like 2007, especially in the SEC.
- 22:33Speaker 3: If Texas reaches nine wins, including wins over Ohio State
- 22:37Speaker 3: and Ole Miss, or if LSU adds wins at Tennessee
- 22:40Speaker 3: and Texas, those would be CFP caliber resumes. Would either
- 22:47Speaker 3: of them get in would depend largely on what the
- 22:51Speaker 3: rest of the sport looks like, but it could happen
- 22:53Speaker 3: this year and makes it even more likely. Unnamed text,
- 22:59Speaker 3: you're wrong. Alabama had three losses last year. Well, thank you.
- 23:03Speaker 3: I'm just going off an on-three report, and you're right.
- 23:05Speaker 3: Alabama did have three losses last year. Just when you
- 23:09Speaker 3: thought USC was turning the corner, after a home loss
- 23:13Speaker 3: at Oregon, the Trojans went to Madison, Wisconsin, and they
- 23:16Speaker 3: were stuffed into a locker by Wisconsin. That loss embodies
- 23:20Speaker 3: everything that has gone wrong with Lincoln Riley at USC.
- 23:24Speaker 3: The Trojans were simply physically beaten by a stronger, tougher team,
- 23:28Speaker 3: and it seems for the first time that most of
- 23:30Speaker 3: the fan base has reached the end of its patience
- 23:32Speaker 3: with their head coach. Yes, USC hosts Ohio State on
- 23:36Speaker 3: Halloween night, but there aren't many people in L.A. holding
- 23:39Speaker 3: their breath, even with the Buckeyes, the team that will
- 23:41Speaker 3: be playing with a backup quarterback. So you have to
- 23:45Speaker 3: ask the question, how much longer will USC deal with
- 23:50Speaker 3: Lincoln Riley? I mean, this is a team that felt
- 23:53Speaker 3: like at least coming in, they had a shot to
- 23:55Speaker 3: be a CFP-type team And now this team that is
- 24:00Speaker 3: averaging 33 a game, giving up 25 a game, they
- 24:04Speaker 3: sit at 6-2. They have to play Ohio State and
- 24:07Speaker 3: at Indiana back-to-back. They'll host Maryland and then go to
- 24:13Speaker 3: USC to finish the season. Or UCLA, excuse me, to
- 24:16Speaker 3: finish the season. So I don't know. I don't know
- 24:19Speaker 3: what you do with Lincoln Riley. How about Baylor head
- 24:24Speaker 3: coaching candidates? Dave Aranda's out. When you look at some
- 24:29Speaker 3: of these guys, number one on this list is a
- 24:31Speaker 3: guy that we've talked about and people have asked, why
- 24:34Speaker 3: has he not gotten a job? Jeff Traylor, UTSA. Number
- 24:38Speaker 3: one on the list, courtesy of On3. Traylor's name has
- 24:41Speaker 3: come up in a number of coaching searches in Texas
- 24:43Speaker 3: in recent years, but this could be the one that
- 24:46Speaker 3: could pull him away from UTSA. The Roadrunners are having
- 24:49Speaker 3: another successful season, jumping out to 7-1. He has deep
- 24:53Speaker 3: connections to high schools across the state of Texas. would
- 24:57Speaker 3: be key in recruiting and has proven he can be
- 24:59Speaker 3: a consistent winner with a 60-27 mark at UTSA. A
- 25:04Speaker 3: longtime coach at Gilmer, he made stops as an assistant
- 25:07Speaker 3: at Texas, SMU, and Arkansas before heading to UTSA in 2019. G.J. Kinney,
- 25:14Speaker 3: Texas State. Before Kinney arrived at Texas State, the Bobcats
- 25:18Speaker 3: had not posted a winning season since 2014. He strung
- 25:22Speaker 3: together two 8-5s and a 7-6 campaign last year. The
- 25:25Speaker 3: Bobcats have struggled this season, In their first season in
- 25:29Speaker 3: the re-innovated Pac-12, they sit four and three and two
- 25:34Speaker 3: and one in the conference. His offensive background and deep
- 25:37Speaker 3: Texas roots make Baylor's job, make Baylor's job's profile. Lincoln Riley,
- 25:44Speaker 3: that would be, again, we just talked about Riley. That'd
- 25:47Speaker 3: be a fall far back from USC to Baylor. But
- 25:52Speaker 3: he is on this list. Charlie Weiss Jr., LSU offensive coordinator.
- 25:59Speaker 3: He will be in the mix for some jobs this cycle.
- 26:01Speaker 3: The question is, does he want to take it? Jason Eck,
- 26:06Speaker 3: New Mexico. Jason Eck has reset the standard at New Mexico.
- 26:13Speaker 3: In his first season with the program, he orchestrated a
- 26:15Speaker 3: 9-4 season that included a win over UCLA. His nine
- 26:20Speaker 3: wins were the most ever by a first-year head coach
- 26:21Speaker 3: at New Mexico. A former Wisconsin offensive lineman, he's climbed
- 26:25Speaker 3: the ranks of the coaching ladder. Before his move to
- 26:29Speaker 3: New Mexico, he was a successful FCS head coach at
- 26:32Speaker 3: Idaho with three consecutive playoff appearances. He hasn't slowed down
- 26:36Speaker 3: in 26, jumping out to a 6-1 start with Saturday's
- 26:40Speaker 3: win over North Dakota State. Zach Kittley, FAU. These are
- 26:46Speaker 3: candidates for the Baylor job, which, hey, Baylor, Mississippi State,
- 26:53Speaker 3: I'm not saying they're making a change. Some of these
- 26:55Speaker 3: names might be on that list if they decided to
- 26:57Speaker 3: go that route. Zach Kittley, FAU, trying to win in
- 27:01Speaker 3: year one of a coaching tenure that has its challenges
- 27:05Speaker 3: in college football. Kittley never really got a chance to
- 27:07Speaker 3: coach the team he envisioned during the first season at FAU.
- 27:11Speaker 3: Two transfer portal windows. The Owls have lost over 30 players.
- 27:14Speaker 3: Starting quarterback Caden Veltkamp, who left Western Kentucky to play
- 27:18Speaker 3: for Kittley, and Boca Raton battled through a shoulder injury.
- 27:22Speaker 3: Despite a 4-8 season in 2025, Kittley has confidence. In
- 27:26Speaker 3: the direction of the program, now in year two, his
- 27:28Speaker 3: program is five and two. Shannon Dawson, Miami offensive coordinator.
- 27:33Speaker 3: He has been on the radar for a lot of people.
- 27:36Speaker 3: When you look at the offensive output Miami has put
- 27:38Speaker 3: out there. I don't even know why this guy's on here.
- 27:43Speaker 3: Mo Linguist. You know who that is? Alabama defensive backs coach.
- 27:48Speaker 3: I don't know that he's really a fit for this.
- 27:52Speaker 3: The former... Buffalo head coach has been an Alabama's defensive
- 27:55Speaker 3: back coach and co-defensive coordinator since 2024. He was a
- 27:59Speaker 3: former second-team All-Big 12 safety for the Bearcats and was
- 28:02Speaker 3: a graduate assistant following his playing career. Jason in Flagstaff.
- 28:07Speaker 3: Question about the end of the Ole Miss game. Was
- 28:09Speaker 3: the decision to kick the field goal instead of trying
- 28:12Speaker 3: to score a TD before the onside kick in one
- 28:15Speaker 3: of those analytics things? Asked because I thought it was
- 28:19Speaker 3: a mistake at the time and still do. They were
- 28:21Speaker 3: driving the ball well before and probably score if it
- 28:25Speaker 3: hadn't kicked the field goal. Well, I think you play
- 28:28Speaker 3: the numbers and say, hey, you kicked the field goal,
- 28:30Speaker 3: you cut the lead in half, and then you try
- 28:32Speaker 3: to get the ball back and win it. Because if
- 28:34Speaker 3: you go for it on fourth down and you don't
- 28:36Speaker 3: get it, then you're still two possessions out. Just depends
- 28:40Speaker 3: on how you want to roll the dice.
- 28:41Speaker 4: 601-885-3776.
- 28:42Speaker 3: Do you think Jeff Levy will be back next year
- 28:44Speaker 3: in Starville?
- 28:59Speaker 2: Right now, no.
- 29:04Speaker 4: It all depends on Camario Taylor.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Number one, does he come back and play?
- 29:12Speaker 4: And you salvage maybe a couple games because it could
- 29:16Speaker 4: get real bad if they keep going with what we've
- 29:20Speaker 4: seen without him there. But I think it also is
- 29:25Speaker 4: depending on Okay, let's just assume Camario Taylor is going
- 29:33Speaker 4: to stay there.
- 29:35Speaker 2: This talk, I thought it was ridiculous.
- 29:38Speaker 4: While Camario Taylor was there, playing and playing well, the
- 29:43Speaker 4: talk was where's he going to play next year? He's
- 29:46Speaker 4: going to take more money and go somewhere else. Now
- 29:49Speaker 4: we had today, the kid's not even there. And now
- 29:53Speaker 4: Gator Matt started the talk of, oh, he's going to
- 29:56Speaker 4: go again. He's got to go here. He's got to
- 29:58Speaker 4: go to Baton Rouge and make more money. Just assume,
- 30:01Speaker 4: just go ahead and assume that this player will be
- 30:03Speaker 4: there just for this argument here. I say, so even
- 30:07Speaker 4: if he doesn't come back this year and they don't
- 30:09Speaker 4: salvage a But, okay, let's assume that Camario Taylor does
- 30:18Speaker 4: come back next year and he says, I like Levy,
- 30:23Speaker 4: I'm comfortable with Levy. The entire team is obviously very
- 30:29Speaker 4: dependent on Camario Taylor. So that's going to be a big, big,
- 30:33Speaker 4: big deciding factor in that. So either way, it's all
- 30:38Speaker 4: down to Camario Taylor whether Levy is going to be
- 30:41Speaker 4: there next year or not.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Whether he plays or not this year. is going to
- 30:45Speaker 2: be a deciding factor.
- 30:47Speaker 3: No, I agree with that. I agree with that. There's
- 30:49Speaker 3: a lot of variables at play, and that's the biggest variable.
- 30:54Speaker 3: There is no doubt about it. We're brought to you
- 30:56Speaker 3: by our friends at Taylor Power and Taylor Sudden Service.

- 31:49Speaker 1: Now we're talking.
- 31:50Speaker 3: Live and local on ESPN 105.9 The.
- 31:51Speaker 2: Zone and online at TheZone1059.
- 31:52Speaker 1: Com.
- 32:35Speaker 3: Final segment brought to you by Corbin Greer Construction. Let
- 32:38Speaker 3: them help you with all your roofing needs. Commercial and residential. Also,
- 32:41Speaker 3: Hardy Siding. Paint, interior and exterior and more.
- 32:46Speaker 1: 662-792-4201.
- 32:47Speaker 3: That's our friends at Corbin Greer Construction today. Thanks to
- 32:50Speaker 3: David Murray. Also, Mike Grace jumping in. We'll have plenty
- 32:53Speaker 3: to get with you tomorrow as well. I've got a
- 32:57Speaker 3: couple people on the text line talking about Ole Miss
- 32:58Speaker 3: kicking it on first down. Yeah, they did. Ole Miss
- 33:01Speaker 3: kicked a field goal on first and 10 from the
- 33:03Speaker 3: Texas 22, a 39-yard field goal. By Lucas Carnero. Late
- 33:08Speaker 3: in the fourth quarter. That cut the deficit to seven.
- 33:13Speaker 3: That also stopped the clock and they set up the
- 33:15Speaker 3: onside kick. So you play the percentages there. You're down
- 33:19Speaker 3: by 10. You go ahead and kick. I thought it
- 33:23Speaker 3: was a good play. You kick the field goal. Now
- 33:25Speaker 3: you cut it to seven. You kick the onside kick.
- 33:29Speaker 3: You take the points immediately. Minimize clock runoff. Also, it
- 33:33Speaker 3: made it a one score game. And they recovered their
- 33:36Speaker 3: onside kick, by the way. Got the ball back with
- 33:38Speaker 3: 120 and no timeouts. They fell short, but I thought
- 33:43Speaker 3: that was the right play. I mean, you got to
- 33:45Speaker 3: get two scores somehow. So I guess you could have
- 33:49Speaker 3: went and got the touchdown maybe, but then you might
- 33:53Speaker 3: have exhausted the clock down to like 15 seconds. What
- 33:57Speaker 3: would you do?
- 33:58Speaker 1: 125 left.
- 33:59Speaker 3: You have the ball in field goal range. Would you
- 34:00Speaker 3: have done what Ole Miss did?
- 34:06Speaker 4: Kicking on first day, it sounds so weird. It really
- 34:11Speaker 4: sounds weird. That messes with the whole thing. But you've
- 34:13Speaker 4: got to get both. You've got to get both. You've
- 34:16Speaker 4: got to get a field goal and a touchdown. So,
- 34:20Speaker 4: made sense, I guess. Yeah, it made sense at the time.
- 34:23Speaker 3: Yeah, you've got to have two scores. And you have
- 34:26Speaker 3: no timeouts. So, you've got to. I mean, because if
- 34:29Speaker 3: you wasted another minute, now you've only got 25 seconds.
- 34:34Speaker 3: They got the onside kick.
- 34:35Speaker 1: What's up?
- 34:35Speaker 3: Did you see that onside kick? It was beautiful. So
- 34:39Speaker 3: you really didn't watch any college football?
- 34:40Speaker 1: No.
- 34:41Speaker 3: That's okay. Very little.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Mr.
- 34:43Speaker 3: DX, welcome back Camario. So is Camario playing this weekend?
- 34:48Speaker 4: Mr.
- 34:48Speaker 2: DX is just sending a welcome back text to everybody.
- 34:51Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 34:51Speaker 3: Remember that. That's right.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:55Speaker 3: Possumic Joe, how many games has Camario even played since
- 34:59Speaker 3: having the ankle injury after last year's bowl game? Maybe
- 35:03Speaker 3: these football coaches should hire insurance folks to do their
- 35:07Speaker 3: player vetting. Well, this is different than the ankle. This
- 35:11Speaker 3: is a turf toe, and that can happen to a
- 35:14Speaker 3: number of guys. So is Joe fixing to get back
- 35:16Speaker 3: on the negative Camario bandwagon?
- 35:19Speaker 2: I never left it.
- 35:19Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 35:20Speaker 2: Joe's the same man he's been all year.
- 35:23Speaker 3: Has it changed a bit, right? Let's see here. Looking
- 35:28Speaker 3: through here. I am looking. Let's see. What is this about? Oh, okay.
- 35:39Speaker 3: Somebody asked me this weekend, and we hear this all
- 35:42Speaker 3: the time. Has the officiating gotten worse across football? NFL, college,
- 35:48Speaker 3: high school. What do you think?
- 35:53Speaker 2: It seems like it.
- 35:55Speaker 4: The problem we're seeing is we have so much.
- 36:03Speaker 4: We have so many different ways to see everything that
- 36:07Speaker 4: we are seeing on the TV. We almost have better
- 36:15Speaker 4: angles a lot of times to look at than the
- 36:19Speaker 4: people right there on the field. So that's causing a
- 36:23Speaker 4: lot of problems.
- 36:24Speaker 2: Now, you would think, though, that especially in the NFL....
- 36:30Speaker 4: They could work with a new system where the refs
- 36:33Speaker 4: are seeing actually replays and such. They could see exactly
- 36:39Speaker 4: what we're seeing. They could tailor something, some sort of
- 36:44Speaker 4: way to mirror more of what we're seeing on our
- 36:49Speaker 4: television screens to make that a little bit more acceptable.
- 36:53Speaker 4: But that's because all the outrage, that's the outrage there
- 36:56Speaker 4: is because we're able to see it a lot better
- 36:57Speaker 4: than these people on the field nowadays.
- 37:01Speaker 3: I think there's a lot of cases. I think there's
- 37:02Speaker 3: 1000% something to that, right? Definitely something to the access
- 37:07Speaker 3: and being able to see it. SEC mics, SEC power
- 37:11Speaker 3: rankings coming into this week. Michael Bratton, that SEC podcast,
- 37:15Speaker 3: Georgia one. He's got LSU too. Do you think LSU
- 37:19Speaker 3: should be two in the conference now?
- 37:22Speaker 1: Sure.
- 37:22Speaker 3: Kentucky three. Texas 4, Ole Miss 5, Tennessee, Alabama, South Carolina.
- 37:30Speaker 3: Boyle-Beamer's going to miss in playoffs again.
- 37:31Speaker 2: Well, wait a minute.
- 37:32Speaker 4: If we're going to do that, if we're going to
- 37:35Speaker 4: play this game, then we're putting Kentucky behind an LSU team.
- 37:40Speaker 2: That they beat. So, no.
- 37:44Speaker 4: If we're going to look at it that way, I'll
- 37:45Speaker 4: put Kentucky at 2, LSU 3.
- 37:49Speaker 3: Missouri, Florida, Oklahoma, Auburn, Texas A & M, Arkansas, Mississippi State,
- 37:53Speaker 3: and Vanderbilt. Also, national defensive explosion play rankings after week eight.
- 37:59Speaker 3: We're talking about explosive defensive plays. Pick sixes, sacks, scooping scores,
- 38:07Speaker 3: all that. Texas number one. They're number six in the country.
- 38:11Speaker 3: Georgia number 11, followed by Oklahoma at 11, tied there.
- 38:17Speaker 3: Ole Miss at 131, State at 78. I'm starting to
- 38:20Speaker 3: see some State fans get on the bad side of
- 38:22Speaker 3: Zach Arnett. Is that justifiable?
- 38:26Speaker 4: Yeah, that's another one they seem to have completely flipped
- 38:29Speaker 4: on Zach Arnett.
- 38:33Speaker 3: I mean, State's given up 28 a game. Last year,
- 38:37Speaker 3: they gave up 30.2. So, I mean, he's improved them
- 38:39Speaker 3: by a couple points. And when you look at red
- 38:45Speaker 3: zone success, teams are scoring the ball about 84% inside
- 38:48Speaker 3: the red zone, which is not a bad number. Third
- 38:51Speaker 3: down conversion. State has had a hard time getting off
- 38:53Speaker 3: the field on third downs. 41% getting off the field
- 38:56Speaker 3: on third down. Last year, about 41% getting off the
- 38:59Speaker 3: field on third down. Saks, Bulldogs have 16. Last year,
- 39:07Speaker 3: they had a total of 21. And when you look
- 39:11Speaker 3: at interceptions this year, State has two. Two interceptions this year.
- 39:18Speaker 3: They had 13 last year. So that's been a bit
- 39:21Speaker 3: of a problem. Turnover margin this year for the Bulldogs.
- 39:25Speaker 3: Last year was a plus three. This year, so far,
- 39:29Speaker 3: they're at minus five. So that's not going well either.
- 39:33Speaker 3: Any Aaron Rodgers news today before we get out of here?
- 39:34Speaker 2: Yeah, yesterday was a big day for Aaron Rodgers.
- 39:36Speaker 3: Yeah, it was.
- 39:37Speaker 4: Moved into third place. All-time passing touchdowns. He won't go
- 39:41Speaker 4: any further. He's way too far behind Drew Brees. He
- 39:44Speaker 4: also outrushed Alvin Kamara. The Saints' running game was disgusting
- 39:52Speaker 4: and putrid. He outrushed Alvin Kamara and equaled that of
- 39:56Speaker 4: Kendra Miller.
- 39:59Speaker 3: So were they.
- 40:00Speaker 2: Old man running. Let's just let that sink in.
- 40:03Speaker 3: That is true. Old man running. Can they make a
- 40:08Speaker 3: playoff run?
- 40:12Speaker 4: The back half of their schedule, as we've seen all season, though,
- 40:18Speaker 4: I talked about that before the season started. The back
- 40:21Speaker 4: half is much tougher than the first half. So they
- 40:23Speaker 4: got a nice cushion right now. This offense is very
- 40:28Speaker 4: suspect at times. I still think they can. I still
- 40:35Speaker 4: think they can. But the same problem they've had for two,
- 40:39Speaker 4: three years now, the receiving game. And DK Metcalf, you
- 40:44Speaker 4: have regressed, sir. He has.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Still bad.
- 40:46Speaker 2: Still bad. So they can. They still can. But it's questionable.
- 40:55Speaker 3: And real quickly, LSU is going to be a favorite
- 40:57Speaker 3: in every game they play down the road. A 55%
- 40:59Speaker 3: chance to beat Alabama. That's going to be at home.
- 41:02Speaker 3: A 57% chance to beat Texas. At home, at Tennessee,
- 41:06Speaker 3: 65% chance. And at Arkansas, 92% chance. If you're a
- 41:11Speaker 3: Tiger fan, things are starting to turn your way here
- 41:14Speaker 3: down the stretch. Thanks to David Murray. Thanks to Mike Grace. Remember,
- 41:17Speaker 3: ketchup is king, bacon's a delicacy, aloha means goodbye. Be
- 41:20Speaker 3: a man of increase. We have reached for crescendo on
- 41:22Speaker 3: a Monday. Tomorrow will be Tuesday. We'll see you then.
