- 0:00Speaker 1: Now this is Mark Simon Show on seven tenor Hey,
- 0:11Speaker 1: welcome to the Big Show. We got a lot to
- 0:12Speaker 1: get to today. We'll get to Don Lemon and Kimmel
- 0:16Speaker 1: last night. We'll get to the super Bowl, Bad Bunny,
- 0:19Speaker 1: Steve Tish, We'll get to Mom, Donnie. The complaints are
- 0:23Speaker 1: growing and growing and growing. We'll get to the Kennedy Center,
- 0:27Speaker 1: the Clintons, and a whole lot more. President Trump making
- 0:30Speaker 1: some big changes in ice procedures. He's for the body cameras.
- 0:35Speaker 1: They'll now be wearing body cameras. I guess they'll start
- 0:38Speaker 1: with Minnesota. This is not going to be good for
- 0:41Speaker 1: the protesters. Now you'll see right up close how crazy
- 0:47Speaker 1: they get. Because when you watch it on the news,
- 0:50Speaker 1: all you see is the incident where the shot is fired.
- 0:53Speaker 1: You don't see the half hour lead up of the
- 0:55Speaker 1: protesters acting like crazed lunatic. So the body came will
- 0:59Speaker 1: record all of that. You'll get to see that pretty soon. Hey.
- 1:01Speaker 1: By the way, speaking of all that, I'm looking at
- 1:05Speaker 1: what Apple is working on, what they're gonna come out
- 1:08Speaker 1: with next year. One thing is the ring. There's gonna
- 1:11Speaker 1: be an Apple ring. You know, you wear your watch
- 1:13Speaker 1: and It records your sleep and tells you all kinds
- 1:15Speaker 1: of health things. Some people like that Aura ring. Forget that.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Apple's gonna come out with their own ring. But here's
- 1:21Speaker 1: the other thing they're coming out with Apple and this.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Everybody thinks this will be like the big, big, big
- 1:28Speaker 1: product for next year. Apple is coming out with body cameras.
- 1:32Speaker 1: I mean real, super high quality. It's called an aipin.
- 1:36Speaker 1: It's about I don't know, two three inches by two
- 1:39Speaker 1: three inches, a little square thing with a clip, so
- 1:42Speaker 1: you clip it on to the front of your body,
- 1:45Speaker 1: onto your jacket or whatever, and it's got a camera microphone.
- 1:49Speaker 1: It will record everything you see, just as you see it.
- 1:52Speaker 1: So you'll have your own body camera. So let's say
- 1:54Speaker 1: you're going to some event or something you want to
- 1:57Speaker 1: you want to take pictures, record some of the moments.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Let's say you're going to look at the tree in
- 2:03Speaker 1: Rockefeller Center and you want to take this. You just
- 2:06Speaker 1: wear this thing. It'll be on continuously. Then later you
- 2:09Speaker 1: can go over the video. You'll have the whole experience
- 2:12Speaker 1: on video. This is expected to be a huge product,
- 2:15Speaker 1: but we got sidetracked for a moment. So body cameras
- 2:18Speaker 1: would be good on ICE agents. ICE agents getting all
- 2:23Speaker 1: kinds of flak from left wing cooks all over America.
- 2:26Speaker 1: In a couple of places, they went into a gas
- 2:28Speaker 1: station and the gas station refused to serve them, refused
- 2:32Speaker 1: to give them gas because they were ICE agents. In
- 2:36Speaker 1: one case at a speedway, even the manager yelling at
- 2:38Speaker 1: them to get out. Speedway is owned by seven eleven.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Calls are made to seven eleven. We'll see what they do.
- 2:47Speaker 1: This happened with the Hilton in a hotel or two,
- 2:49Speaker 1: and Hilton fired everybody involved. We'll see if that, if
- 2:53Speaker 1: that happens here. So more and more is coming out
- 2:57Speaker 1: now about the funding of these protests. You know, ICE
- 3:00Speaker 1: is running much bigger operations in thirty five other cities.
- 3:04Speaker 1: No problem, peaceful, orderly. Why in this one place of
- 3:08Speaker 1: these crazy lunatic protesters all over the ICE agents, Well,
- 3:13Speaker 1: I mean some of it could be organic, but most
- 3:15Speaker 1: of it is paid for. And as we've been telling
- 3:18Speaker 1: you for about a week now, it's Neville Roy Singham.
- 3:21Speaker 1: This is a guy. He's like George Soros on steroids,
- 3:25Speaker 1: and he doesn't live in America. He lives in Singapore.
- 3:28Speaker 1: He's partnering with the Chinese communist government funding all of this,
- 3:33Speaker 1: and it's hard to touch him since he lives in Singapore,
- 3:36Speaker 1: but he's now been identified. They're tracing a lot of
- 3:39Speaker 1: the money coming from him, and like Soros does, he
- 3:42Speaker 1: funnels it through twenty different organizations, but it gets to
- 3:45Speaker 1: the protesters. He's funding that. He's also funding social media
- 3:50Speaker 1: messaging and all of that. You know, they get these
- 3:52Speaker 1: messages out. It's usually two level messages. One is for
- 3:56Speaker 1: the left wing kooks, and that's the message, you know,
- 4:00Speaker 1: Trump is hitler, Trump's a Nazi, it's the end of democracy,
- 4:03Speaker 1: all that kind of stuff. But then they also message
- 4:06Speaker 1: out to the Trump supporters just to unnerve them. They've
- 4:10Speaker 1: been they're the ones messaging out this is going to
- 4:14Speaker 1: ruin them in the midterms. They're going to get clobbered
- 4:16Speaker 1: in the midterms because of immigration. Trump is finally behind
- 4:19Speaker 1: an immigrant. None of this is true, it's just the
- 4:22Speaker 1: messaging they put out. So midterms are like nine months away,
- 4:27Speaker 1: and if you look at the real Poles, not the
- 4:29Speaker 1: fake poles. The real poles most of the country still
- 4:33Speaker 1: supports the present, strongly supports them on immigration and all
- 4:37Speaker 1: of that. Hey, so Don Lemon was arrested as one
- 4:40Speaker 1: of the protesters and went into the church and caused
- 4:43Speaker 1: all kinds of havoc, disrupting the service. So he's on
- 4:47Speaker 1: with Jimmy Kimmel last night, which is big because you
- 4:51Speaker 1: go on that Jimmy Kimmel show, you could be seen
- 4:52Speaker 1: by eight nine hundred thousand people just like that in
- 4:56Speaker 1: one shot. So here's part of Lemon, and he was
- 4:59Speaker 1: talking about b arrested. Apparently he tried to surrender through
- 5:03Speaker 1: his attorney, but you know, you can't always do that.
- 5:09Speaker 1: That's usually for a white collar crime, you know, some
- 5:13Speaker 1: white collar criminal, financial crime. You know, then usually you
- 5:17Speaker 1: can surrender. It's not for you know, intimidating and disrupting
- 5:21Speaker 1: a church service. That's real criminal stuff. You can't usually
- 5:25Speaker 1: surrender on that. Here's Don Lemon on Kimmel last night.
- 5:28Speaker 2: They want to embarrass you, they want to intimidate you,
- 5:30Speaker 2: they want to instill fear, and so that's why they
- 5:32Speaker 2: did it that way.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Well, I think they also wanted to arrest you and
- 5:35Speaker 1: take you into custody, and that's generally how you do it.
- 5:37Speaker 1: You put the person in the handcuffs. Watch an episode
- 5:39Speaker 1: of Blue Bloods. That's how they do it. They want
- 5:44Speaker 1: to intimidate you. Well, he said, they want to embarrass him.
- 5:48Speaker 1: It's very hard to embarrass a guy like Don Lemon.
- 5:50Speaker 1: I mean, with his ridiculous behavior, he's getting fired, being
- 5:54Speaker 1: out of work for four years. It's very tough to
- 5:56Speaker 1: embarrass that guy anymore. I'm not a protester.
- 5:58Speaker 2: I went there to a journalist. I went there to
- 6:01Speaker 2: chronicle and document and record.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Well, you see, that's gonna get litigated in court. I'm
- 6:08Speaker 1: a journalist.
- 6:09Speaker 3: You know.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Let's say you're a cop and you're something bad and
- 6:13Speaker 1: they fire you. You're thrown off the police force. They
- 6:15Speaker 1: take your gun, they take your badge. You can't get
- 6:18Speaker 1: a job for four years. Now, four years later, if
- 6:21Speaker 1: you go grab somebody, can you say, I'm a cop.
- 6:23Speaker 1: That's why I'm grabbing. You're not a cop anymore. It's
- 6:26Speaker 1: the same thing with Don Lemon. He was throwing the
- 6:28Speaker 1: hell out of sea on end. He got fired. Nobody
- 6:30Speaker 1: would hire him, nobody couldn't get a job, so he
- 6:33Speaker 1: starts doing an amateur podcast out of his bedroom. Are
- 6:37Speaker 1: you still a journalist? I don't know this again, this
- 6:42Speaker 1: will get this will get litigated in court. Who did
- 6:44Speaker 1: you make your one phone call for no. He said
- 6:46Speaker 1: they took him into a holding room and left him
- 6:49Speaker 1: there for twelve hours, which I guess he's saying is torture.
- 6:53Speaker 1: And he wasn't allowed to make a phone call for
- 6:55Speaker 1: the twelve hours. And actually that is torture, you know,
- 6:58Speaker 1: to a guy like Don Lemon. This guy is like
- 7:00Speaker 1: a crazy ego maniac. For him to not be able
- 7:04Speaker 1: to talk to anybody, look at anybody, h this is
- 7:07Speaker 1: torture for a guy like this, nobody to talk to,
- 7:09Speaker 1: nobody to look at just being alone. He's uh, he
- 7:14Speaker 1: can be nice in person, but he's a real egomaniac.
- 7:17Speaker 1: I mean a number of times I've been somewhere where
- 7:20Speaker 1: he comes in the room and if you don't say
- 7:22Speaker 1: hello to him, you know, you don't want to say
- 7:25Speaker 1: load to him. You're at another table. He's one of
- 7:28Speaker 1: those guys that'll wait and then then they'll charge over you.
- 7:31Speaker 1: You're not going to say a load to me. That
- 7:33Speaker 1: kind of ego, he has to confront everybody. So finally
- 7:37Speaker 1: they gave him a phone call. Who did you make
- 7:39Speaker 1: your one phone call to?
- 7:40Speaker 2: Here's the interesting thing, I didn't have a one phone call.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Wait a minute, I watch a lot of TV. I know.
- 7:47Speaker 2: I asked him, do I get my one phone call Jimmy?
- 7:50Speaker 1: They said, no, you don't.
- 7:50Speaker 2: You get to talk to your attorney when whenever the
- 7:53Speaker 2: court says that you can.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Okay, well that's the law. But it was pretty calm.
- 7:58Speaker 1: It was not very news worthy of disappearance. That is
- 8:01Speaker 1: customary in a situation like this, said, someone would be
- 8:04Speaker 1: allowed to turn themselves in.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Yeah, people who are who are accused of much worse
- 8:08Speaker 2: things than I am accused of doing, is they.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Are allowed the courtesy.
- 8:12Speaker 2: I mean Donald Trump was allowed the courtesy to turn
- 8:14Speaker 2: himself in when he was that's right, he did.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I see, that's a different case. It's an
- 8:19Speaker 1: ex president. The difference there, and this is a big
- 8:22Speaker 1: major difference. You can't just go arrest him because he's
- 8:26Speaker 1: being guarded by the Secret Service. He's under the protection
- 8:29Speaker 1: of the Secret Service. Secret Service cannot just turn him
- 8:32Speaker 1: over to local police. So he's under the protection of
- 8:36Speaker 1: Secret Service. You can't go rest that guy. So that
- 8:38Speaker 1: makes sense. Lemon is just a private citizen and an
- 8:41Speaker 1: out of work private citizen. You can't arrest him. And
- 8:44Speaker 1: I don't know remember Roger Stone's arrest Roger Stone. I'm
- 8:50Speaker 1: trying to remember what he did. It was nothing. It
- 8:53Speaker 1: turned out it was false. The whole charge was false.
- 8:55Speaker 1: But what was he accused of? It was emailing with
- 9:01Speaker 1: that Wiki leaks thing or something. It was absolutely nothing.
- 9:05Speaker 1: The silliest non crime crime in the world. Do you
- 9:08Speaker 1: remember what they did to him. This is the Biden administration.
- 9:12Speaker 1: They had like one hundred and fifty FBI agents on
- 9:14Speaker 1: his front lawn. He lives in a nice, peaceful neighborhood
- 9:17Speaker 1: and nice house in Florida. They ran a normandy invasion
- 9:21Speaker 1: up his front lawn. They had helicopters flying over, they
- 9:23Speaker 1: had tanks, bazookahs, They even literally had boats in the
- 9:27Speaker 1: water in the inner coastal behind his house. This is
- 9:30Speaker 1: at four in the morning, busted through the door. I mean,
- 9:33Speaker 1: it was absolutely ridiculous. And remember they invited a CNN
- 9:37Speaker 1: to come with them and in bed with them and cover.
- 9:40Speaker 1: It was absolutely ridiculous. And you remember the other Trump
- 9:44Speaker 1: got Peter Navarro and this was he refused to testify
- 9:49Speaker 1: in Congress. It wasn't a criminal act out in the street.
- 9:51Speaker 1: It was just contempt of Congress. Do you remember they
- 9:54Speaker 1: grabbed him a million agents at the airport he was
- 9:57Speaker 1: getting on a plane. They grabbed him and put him
- 9:59Speaker 1: in a leg earn. I mean, it was absolutely ridiculous.
- 10:01Speaker 1: So what happened to Don Lemon is on a scale
- 10:04Speaker 1: of one to one hundred, about less than one. So
- 10:08Speaker 1: it was nothing as far as comparing it to Peter
- 10:11Speaker 1: Navarro or Roger Stone. So he'll have a hearing pretty soon.
- 10:17Speaker 1: He could have a real legal problem here because there's
- 10:20Speaker 1: all kinds of video. It's against the law to deliberately
- 10:23Speaker 1: disrupt and try to interfere with a church service or
- 10:27Speaker 1: try to intimidate anybody in there. And the protesters clearly
- 10:30Speaker 1: are guilty by the way they've arrested dozens of these
- 10:32Speaker 1: protesters there one hundred percent guilty, will be convicted. Now
- 10:36Speaker 1: the problem Lemon faces. There's video that they've discovered of
- 10:40Speaker 1: him plotting with these protesters, not like they were doing
- 10:44Speaker 1: this and he just happened to follow along. He was
- 10:46Speaker 1: in on the planning and the plotting. That's a problem.
- 10:49Speaker 1: And also in the indictment at States, they've got evidence
- 10:51Speaker 1: that he was in the door blocking people, disrupting the service.
- 10:55Speaker 1: The pastor told him to get out, he didn't, so
- 10:58Speaker 1: he's got a real hey, super Bowl this Sunday. Roger Goodell,
- 11:05Speaker 1: who is a strange guy. Roger Goodell. The owners love
- 11:10Speaker 1: Roger Goodell. I mean he is like the most high
- 11:14Speaker 1: school principal looking stern somber, unpleasant looking guy, but the
- 11:21Speaker 1: owners love him. He's got absolutely no sense of humor,
- 11:26Speaker 1: almost no personality, but the white of the owners love
- 11:29Speaker 1: him so much. He's unbelievable in negotiations, negota, negotiating with
- 11:33Speaker 1: the unions, with the TV networks, He's phenomenal. He's unbelievable
- 11:37Speaker 1: in the courtroom. He's really good for the owners, but
- 11:41Speaker 1: not a lot of fun. Not a lot of fun.
- 11:43Speaker 1: But he did a press conference yesterday and it turns
- 11:45Speaker 1: out one of the owners, Steve Tish, co owner of
- 11:49Speaker 1: the Giants, is all through those Epstein files, emailing back
- 11:53Speaker 1: and forth with Epstein. Nothing to do with underage women.
- 11:57Speaker 1: These are age appropriate women. But he's going back and
- 12:02Speaker 1: forth with Epstein. Tell me about this one, tell me
- 12:04Speaker 1: about that one of me. Is she a pro or civilian?
- 12:07Speaker 1: Is she a working girl? Is she? So he's comparing
- 12:11Speaker 1: notes on women with Epstein. It's not good. Goodell was
- 12:15Speaker 1: asked about it.
- 12:16Speaker 3: We are going to look at all the facts. We're
- 12:19Speaker 3: going to look at the context of those, We're going
- 12:20Speaker 3: to try to understand that, and we'll look at how
- 12:24Speaker 3: that falls under the policy. But I think we take
- 12:27Speaker 3: one step at a time. Let's get the facts first.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Yeah, and the facts are I don't think he did
- 12:30Speaker 1: anything wrong NFL rule wise, if you're the owner of
- 12:33Speaker 1: a team, you're certainly allowed to go out and meet women.
- 12:37Speaker 1: You're certainly allowed to go pick up women. You're certainly
- 12:40Speaker 1: allowed for a guy to fix you up with a woman.
- 12:42Speaker 1: He's certainly allowed to ask the guy hate tell me
- 12:44Speaker 1: about her, even if it's a sleeve ball like Epstein.
- 12:46Speaker 1: So it's within the rules. Hey, Robert Kraft, Remember Robert
- 12:50Speaker 1: Kraft going to the that Florida massage parlor with the
- 12:56Speaker 1: sixty year old Asian women, that little tug and whatever
- 13:00Speaker 1: that place was. Remember that. I mean that was out
- 13:02Speaker 1: that prostitution he was involved in. But if that's not
- 13:06Speaker 1: a problem, I don't think. I don't think this is
- 13:08Speaker 1: a problem. A good thing for Robert Kraft. That saved him.
- 13:13Speaker 1: If they had been like nineteen year old women, twenty
- 13:16Speaker 1: three year olds, it would have looked so sleazy. But
- 13:19Speaker 1: the fact that the women were like sixty years old.
- 13:21Speaker 1: That helped a little. That made it a little easier. Now,
- 13:25Speaker 1: what about Bad Bunny? Is he going to screw up
- 13:28Speaker 1: the entire Super Bowl by getting political? You know, he's
- 13:31Speaker 1: not the brightest guy in the world. He's not the
- 13:33Speaker 1: most normal. He's a strange looking, weird guy trying to
- 13:36Speaker 1: be political. And the idea of him trying to discuss
- 13:43Speaker 1: politics or analyze issues is so preposterous. It would be
- 13:47Speaker 1: like Victor Davis Hansen singing hip hop. I mean, just
- 13:50Speaker 1: it doesn't work. Stay in your lane. So Goodell was
- 13:53Speaker 1: asked about keeping Bad Bunny under control.
- 13:55Speaker 3: This platform is used to unite people and to be
- 13:58Speaker 3: able to bring people together with their creativity, with their talents,
- 14:02Speaker 3: and to be able to use this moment to do that.
- 14:05Speaker 3: And I think artists in the past have done that.
- 14:07Speaker 3: I think Bad Bunny understands it, and I think he'll
- 14:10Speaker 3: have a great performance.
- 14:14Speaker 1: We hope. So, you know, traditionally, when they started this
- 14:16Speaker 1: whole NFL halftime with an entertainer singing, it was always
- 14:20Speaker 1: somebody totally mild, somebody totally harmless. It was never somebody edgy,
- 14:26Speaker 1: It was never somebody who could get political. I mean
- 14:29Speaker 1: you go back to like the sixties, the first halftime shows,
- 14:31Speaker 1: it was like Andy Williams would be the halftime show,
- 14:36Speaker 1: or you know, like a Billy Joel or Nelton John
- 14:38Speaker 1: or somebody like that. Just somebody you know was going
- 14:39Speaker 1: to come out sing, perform. That's it. Then when did
- 14:44Speaker 1: all this start? Was it George Floyd or something. They
- 14:46Speaker 1: started to go totally woke, cave in, you know, go
- 14:52Speaker 1: for the most edgy, edgy, edgy halftime shows, trying to
- 14:56Speaker 1: appease the left wing mob. So I think that's how
- 14:59Speaker 1: we end up with with bad Bunny. Hey, the Clintons
- 15:02Speaker 1: have caved in. They refuse to testify on the in
- 15:06Speaker 1: front of Congress and the Epstein hearings because they are
- 15:10Speaker 1: the most tangled up with Epstein people on Earth. I
- 15:13Speaker 1: mean it's not just Bill Clinton and Epstein Island and women.
- 15:17Speaker 1: They are very tangled up with Epstein in business deals.
- 15:21Speaker 1: It was Epstein who helped found the Clinton Foundation, the
- 15:24Speaker 1: Clinton Global Initiative. Epstein was a big, big part of that. Said,
- 15:28Speaker 1: they don't want to talk about all this. They refuse
- 15:30Speaker 1: to testify, but they were held in contempt to Congress,
- 15:35Speaker 1: and it was going to go to the Justice Department
- 15:37Speaker 1: for indictment. Congress had to vote on whether to send
- 15:40Speaker 1: it there and do that, and it turned out, obviously
- 15:44Speaker 1: the Republicans vote against Clinton, but it turned out a
- 15:46Speaker 1: lot of Democrats voted against Clinton because younger Democrats they
- 15:50Speaker 1: don't know who they hell Bill Clinton is or Hillary Clinton,
- 15:52Speaker 1: and they don't care, and they don't like them. They're
- 15:54Speaker 1: like old fossils from another era. They remember the Clintons
- 15:57Speaker 1: by Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton, he's a moderate, a common sense,
- 16:02Speaker 1: can you know, kind of conservative Democrats. So today's Democrats
- 16:05Speaker 1: hate him for that. They hate that, so they were
- 16:08Speaker 1: all going to vote against them. So the Clinton's had
- 16:09Speaker 1: to cave in. And this is going to be tricky
- 16:12Speaker 1: for them, very tricky for them because it's not just Epstein.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Anything can come up, emails, servers, anything can come up
- 16:20Speaker 1: in these hearings. So it's a very dangerous situation for them. Now,
- 16:24Speaker 1: the good news is Hillary Clinton is not great in hearings.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Bill Clinton is dazzling in hearings. He may have lost
- 16:31Speaker 1: a step or two, but he's still pretty good. The
- 16:33Speaker 1: good news for them also Comber, James Comer. We love
- 16:35Speaker 1: James Comer, but he's not the best at these hearings.
- 16:38Speaker 1: We love the guy, and he tries hard, but he's
- 16:41Speaker 1: he over promises and underdelivers. Usually, Republicans are not good
- 16:45Speaker 1: at these hearings. Democrats are great at hearings. January sixth, Halliburton.
- 16:49Speaker 1: They can fake anything in these hearings. They can. They're
- 16:53Speaker 1: deadly with these hearings. They know how to do this stuff.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Republicans they're not good at setting up these hearings to
- 16:59Speaker 1: be apps and catch pit. They're not great at it. Hey,
- 17:02Speaker 1: we'll take some calls next. Eight hundred three two one
- 17:05Speaker 1: zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two
- 17:09Speaker 1: one zero seven ten
