- 0:22Speaker 1: want to be in Midwest living and how he came
- 0:26Speaker 1: to it, why I did it. It's gonna be an
- 0:30Speaker 1: incredible night. August twenty third. Tickets available next week. Tony

- 0:53Speaker 1: The popcorn moment. Let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go.
- 0:56Speaker 1: It's a story you need to hear to believe. Then
- 0:58Speaker 1: grab your popcorn because there.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Is more to you.
- 1:00Speaker 1: By Boer Remodeling Boo hg R. Boer Remodeling dot com.
- 1:06Speaker 1: I came across I think this was out of the
- 1:09Speaker 1: Wall Street Journal about No, this wasn't about this. One
- 1:14Speaker 1: was not Wall Street Journal. This was over at News Nation.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Is Hollywood shifting to the right? I thought it was
- 1:21Speaker 1: an interesting question to be asked, because Trump has Hollywood
- 1:26Speaker 1: ambassadors and studios are shelving progressive storylines. Well, let's go
- 1:35Speaker 1: through this as rational people. No, I do not believe
- 1:39Speaker 1: that Hollywood is in.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Any way trending to the right.
- 1:43Speaker 1: I believe these people are as progressive and ridiculous as ever.
- 1:47Speaker 1: I do believe that many of them have at least
- 1:52Speaker 1: accepted that the things that they do to move their
- 1:58Speaker 1: progressive ideology forward doesn't translate to success at a box office.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Right. You can give me all.
- 2:07Speaker 1: The storylines you added this kind of character, and that's
- 2:09Speaker 1: kind of character, and oh they're using these pronouns and
- 2:11Speaker 1: all that. But top gun Maverick is what people want
- 2:15Speaker 1: to see. So the people I don't believe have shifted
- 2:22Speaker 1: in any such direction.
- 2:24Speaker 2: It certainly could be seen.
- 2:27Speaker 1: That there is an acceptance that there might be another
- 2:30Speaker 1: audience out there, and certainly that other audience, which is
- 2:35Speaker 1: an audience that doesn't want to be lectured to. I
- 2:36Speaker 1: don't even know if they're politically right, they just don't
- 2:38Speaker 1: want to be lectured to. They're looking for other content.
- 2:42Speaker 1: And I want to be somebody who helps make that
- 2:45Speaker 1: kind of content. It doesn't have to be some flag
- 2:49Speaker 1: waving thing. It just just stop yelling at us already,
- 2:52Speaker 1: stop being garbage. You know, create good stories, don't create
- 2:56Speaker 1: post stories. Right, That's the that's the story here, And
- 3:00Speaker 1: I want to help people make that content, whether it's
- 3:03Speaker 1: Nick or anybody else. If I can do that, I
- 3:07Speaker 1: want to. That's I think the next step in my
- 3:09Speaker 1: own evolution. So it was an interesting story about whether
- 3:12Speaker 1: or not that's actually happening. And then came this post
- 3:17Speaker 1: from Amy Walter of the Cook Political Report, and it
- 3:22Speaker 1: shows that younger men are shifting to the right. Well,
- 3:25Speaker 1: we've had this conversation. We saw it in the election.
- 3:27Speaker 1: We saw it in the data of where people went.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Certainly the low propensity voter, which is a Trump supporter,
- 3:34Speaker 1: not a Republican supporter, which is why we always discussed
- 3:36Speaker 1: and if you were at the event we did last November,
- 3:40Speaker 1: the Republican Party has a brand issue.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Trump does not. And the brand issue is.
- 3:46Speaker 1: That the Republican Party is not as strong as the
- 3:47Speaker 1: Trump brand, and so these people who voted for Trump
- 3:52Speaker 1: are not necessarily.
- 3:53Speaker 2: People who are going to vote for Republicans.
- 3:54Speaker 1: And we saw this in the senatorial elections in Nevada
- 3:57Speaker 1: and in Michigan and in Wisconsin. But if you take
- 4:01Speaker 1: a look at young men moving to the right, young
- 4:05Speaker 1: women are also having a series of moves. So if
- 4:13Speaker 1: you take a look at leaning right or leaning left,
- 4:17Speaker 1: women lean more to the political left then do men.
- 4:24Speaker 1: We see this time and again and again and again.
- 4:30Speaker 1: So why is it that gen Z women are eleven
- 4:35Speaker 1: points more democratic than gen X women?
- 4:38Speaker 2: What exactly is happening there? How does this come to be?
- 4:46Speaker 1: It's a worthy question about what's happening with girls inside
- 4:50Speaker 1: in in the political sphere.
- 4:53Speaker 2: I think we understand what's happening with guys.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Guys been told they're toxic, and guys been told their sexist,
- 4:58Speaker 1: and guys been told their terror and they're like, we're
- 5:01Speaker 1: not terrible, and go to hell and screw off and
- 5:03Speaker 1: we're gonna do our thing. And there's no such thing
- 5:06Speaker 1: as toxic masculinity. There's masculinity which is a good thing.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Proving this is Molli jong Fast, who I consider to
- 5:17Speaker 1: be what is the.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Word I'm looking for not's bright.
- 5:22Speaker 1: I think she wants to put on the air of intellectualism,
- 5:25Speaker 1: but she has never achieved such a thing. I don't
- 5:29Speaker 1: care if she listens to this. I'm not a fanom unimpressed.
- 5:32Speaker 1: And she is a part of that MSNBC morning show
- 5:35Speaker 1: insanity that used to be, of course, Morning Joe, the
- 5:39Speaker 1: intellectual morning Show, and then they decided that wasn't fun.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Let's have people like Bali Jong fast on.
- 5:44Speaker 1: I do again, I really don't see a strength in
- 5:49Speaker 1: the mind there. And she comes around with this pit,
- 5:54Speaker 1: this bit of a so called political acumen.
- 5:57Speaker 3: He is going to the place where the voters are right.
- 6:00Speaker 3: The only way to get in front of Joe Rogan's
- 6:04Speaker 3: you know, millions, tens of millions and tens and tens
- 6:08Speaker 3: of millions of viewers is to go on his show,
- 6:11Speaker 3: and that I think is so important. The other thing
- 6:14Speaker 3: I would say about Joe Rogan is you'll remember Joe
- 6:17Speaker 3: Rogan endorsed Bernie Sanders in twenty sixteen.
- 6:20Speaker 2: The reason that.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Trump was able to take this ground right, the podcaster
- 6:26Speaker 3: bro landscape, was because Democrats really seated it by not
- 6:30Speaker 3: going on in these spaces, and they made decisions about
- 6:34Speaker 3: why not to go into these spaces that may have
- 6:36Speaker 3: been the right decisions at the time, but now are
- 6:39Speaker 3: clearly not how to run for office. You can't get
- 6:42Speaker 3: in front of these voters any other way, but going
- 6:45Speaker 3: on these podcasts, and maybe they're not, maybe you don't
- 6:48Speaker 3: endorse all of their theories and all of their beliefs,
- 6:52Speaker 3: you still have to go there because that's where the
- 6:54Speaker 3: voters are.
- 6:56Speaker 1: So the voters are all listening to people who don't
- 6:58Speaker 1: believe in toxic masculinary, who don't believe in pronouns.
- 7:01Speaker 2: They're all all the voters are going to people.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Where the conversations are honest and they are not made
- 7:07Speaker 1: to feel terrible about themselves. Well, that should tell you something,
- 7:12Speaker 1: That should teach you something. Why is the voter there?
- 7:16Speaker 1: And if the voter is there, why does the left
- 7:18Speaker 1: continue to hate these people and attack these people and
- 7:21Speaker 1: to mean these people and insult these people. What's the win?
- 7:25Speaker 1: What's the value? Can't you just be you and not
- 7:31Speaker 1: insult these people? So does Hollywood? Has Hollywood moved right? Absolutely?
- 7:35Speaker 3: Not?
- 7:36Speaker 1: Are there some in Hollywood who aren't interested in insulting
- 7:39Speaker 1: those other guys?
- 7:40Speaker 2: Yes?
- 7:40Speaker 1: And maybe that's how you still get some worthwhile movies made.
- 7:46Speaker 2: But there's nothing about the.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Democratic Party that has shown that they have shifted to
- 7:50Speaker 1: some level of rationality, nor that they actually want to
- 7:53Speaker 1: go about reaching the voter that listens to Rogan or
- 7:56Speaker 1: anybody like that. They would rather shut that guy down
- 8:02Speaker 1: so that they might go on the podcast. That's not
- 8:05Speaker 1: the way to get the voter. The way you get
- 8:07Speaker 1: the voter is to have a message.
- 8:09Speaker 2: That resonates with the voter. But at least maybe I
- 8:14Speaker 2: should give her credit.
- 8:15Speaker 1: It's a recognition of where the voters are, and they
- 8:19Speaker 1: sure as hell ain't with Pod Save America.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Sorry, Tommy V. Tour, that's you. You're not the alpha
- 8:30Speaker 2: these guys are looking for.
