In Matthew 22:1–14, Jesus tells the parable of a king who prepares a wedding feast for his son. Some invited guests refuse to come. Others are simply too busy. The invitation is then extended broadly to anyone the servants can find—but one guest enters without the proper wedding garment.
What does the feast represent? Why does the King judge the man without the garment? And what does Jesus mean when He concludes, “For many are called, but few are chosen”?
