- 0:00Have faith, let it begin. When it starts right now.
- 0:07Welcome to Have Faith. Let it begin. Here's your host, Angel Santana.
- 0:13Ariel, can you say, have faith? Let it begin. Let it begin? Let it begin. Say, have faith.
- 0:22Let it begin. Let it begin. No. No. No? Okay. Hi, Noah. Noah! Noah!
- 0:30Happy birthday, Noah! Okay then. I'm so busy. That's what does that happen.
- 0:39No. This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine.
- 0:44This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine.
- 0:49This little light of rain, I'm gonna let it shine.
- 0:53Let it shine. Let it shine. Let it shine. So, yeah.
- 1:00Daddy, I'm so excited, but I have one question. What's your question?
- 1:05I'm going to be a pastor or a minister.
- 1:07Good question. I don't know, but it is all in God's hands. Good morning.
- 1:12You're listening to Have Faith Love Again, and it starts right now.
- 1:17Have Faith Love Again, and it starts right now.
- 1:22Good morning, everyone, and happy Tuesday. That's right. Today is Tuesday, February 18th, 2025.
- 1:30I want to start off with a scripture.
- 1:35It's from Galatians 3, verse 26.
- 1:41For in Christ Jesus, you are all children of God through faith.
- 1:47In Romans 8, chapter 8, I should say, verse 1, therefore, there is now no condemnation
- 1:56for those who are in Christ Jesus.
- 2:00And finally, Ephesians chapter 2, 8 through 9, for it is by grace you have been
- 2:07saved through faith, and it is not from yourselves.
- 2:11It is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast. The word of the Lord.
- 2:20What is your relationship with Jesus Christ?
- 2:24How would you describe your relationship with Jesus Christ?
- 2:30In John chapter 15, verse 15, it says, No longer do I call you servants,
- 2:36because a servant does not know his master's business.
- 2:40Instead, I have called you friends because everything that I learned from my
- 2:45father, I have made known to you.
- 2:48This verse highlights the idea of a personal, intimate connection with Jesus,
- 2:55where believers are considered his friends, not just his servants.
- 3:03Where is your relationship with Jesus Christ?
- 3:06Would you say that you are best friends? Would you say that you have that same
- 3:11relationship as he described to his disciples?
- 3:17When we say, Heavenly Father, thank you for this amazing day,
- 3:21do we consider Jesus, the Son of God, with the one in all, to be our Heavenly Father?
- 3:30Think about that for just a second as I tell you a story.
- 3:34In my early 20s, I would hang out with tons of friends. I would go out to a
- 3:40club, maybe on a Thursday, sometimes Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, have a great time.
- 3:45Just listening to music, having laughs, creating new memories,
- 3:52reminiscing on old times.
- 3:54How would you feel if you were one of those disciples?
- 3:59And since we're
- 4:02living on on earth today and
- 4:05we're constantly talking about the past on
- 4:09the days where the disciples followed jesus doubted
- 4:13was unsure same thing right but saw miracles witness his death his resurrection
- 4:23still was not clear or sure what they should do how they should react?
- 4:30On previous episodes, I asked you, if you were Peter, would you have denied
- 4:34Christ or have you denied Christ once, twice, three times, maybe even more?
- 4:41I've thrown a lot at you this morning, and I did that for a reason.
- 4:44It wasn't to confuse you.
- 4:46It was to make you think. It was to make you wonder.
- 4:50This is how my mind works. I'm constantly, right now, because I'm in ministry
- 4:55school, I'm reading so many parts of the Bible. I'm currently in Acts.
- 4:59I've been engulfed.
- 5:03I have been inspired. I have been educated on the journey.
- 5:11Of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
- 5:14And every time I finish a chapter or read a verse, I'm constantly torn at times with how I live my life,
- 5:26how I try to be more Christ-like.
- 5:31And yet I feel as if I fail.
- 5:34So yes, I have a podcast.
- 5:36And yes, I do my part to try to spread the word and to try to show people what God has done for me.
- 5:43But in the same breath, have I truly lived the way God wanted me to live or
- 5:48wants me to live? I have failed.
- 5:51I'm trying to get better. I am not perfect.
- 5:55And I'm more grateful. And I am blessed.
- 6:01And I'm not embarrassed to admit that. we all at times fail.
- 6:06We're not as perfect as we'd like to be. We try our very best to seek God's
- 6:11love, which by the way, never fails. He always loves us.
- 6:16What is your relationship with Jesus Christ?
- 6:20And I was in my 13, 14 or 15 years of age, I was diagnosed with scoliosis,
- 6:27the curvature of the spine.
- 6:28At the age of 15, I was given a back brace that I had to wear 23 three hours a day.
- 6:34And I hid that. I didn't wear it.
- 6:38I'd find a way to stuff it in my locker at school.
- 6:41I found a way to store it in the guidance counselor's office,
- 6:44saying that I didn't have to wear it for so long. Yeah, I lied.
- 6:48And the consequences for me was that I eventually needed to have back surgery.
- 6:52Who knows what would have happened if I wore that back brace the way I was told to wear it.
- 6:57I remember saying to God, even at the age of 15, why me?
- 7:04Why does other people get to play gym?
- 7:08Why do other people get to play sports, but not me? Why would you take this from me?
- 7:13As you get older and you get wiser and you realize things are done for a reason.
- 7:20I'm not saying by any means that God punished me.
- 7:22Absolutely not. If I didn't have the diagnosis, if I didn't have things limited
- 7:29to me, I wouldn't, in my opinion,
- 7:33go down the path that I've gone and I wouldn't have the stories that I have
- 7:37today that blend in with the blend in with the way that God has come into my heart.
- 7:47And when you read the Bible, as I'm reading, and you watch these disciples,
- 7:54you realize that there is a lot of us in them and a lot of them in us.
- 8:00We are not perfect, but all that God has ever wanted was a good,
- 8:05healthy relationship with each other.
- 8:08God has called upon you this morning to tell you he hasn't forgotten you.
- 8:13He has not even begun to think of punishing you.
- 8:17He wants to be a part of your life. He wants a relationship with you.
- 8:23Are you ready to precipitate that relationship back?
- 8:28Think about that as you go about your day. And let's pray.
- 8:32Heavenly Father, this morning, we lift up in prayer all of those victims in
- 8:37the horrific airplane crash it while trying to take off flipped over upside down.
- 8:45And to my understanding, in early reports, a pediatric patient and a middle-aged gentleman.
- 8:54Hospitalized due to this. We lift up everyone in prayer and praise the first
- 9:01responders that arrived at the scene.
- 9:03We lift you up, Gigi, and we ask you, Lord, to continue to bless her and keep her.
- 9:09Gigi, I want you to remember that there's strength in you and there's strength
- 9:14in the relationship that you have with Jesus Christ.
- 9:18We pray for your family. We pray for Joanne. We pray for Rochelle,
- 9:22another person who is doing their part daily on Facebook to spread amazing words and wisdom.
- 9:29We ask you to strengthen her. We pray for forgiveness as I too still struggle.
- 9:35And I'm sure many of you do too.
- 9:38If you know what I'm talking about, check out yesterday's episode.
- 9:41We lift up in prayer, Kenneth.
- 9:45We pray for Douglas.
- 9:46We pray for all those that have been diagnosed with cancer, diagnosed with diseases,
- 9:52are hospitalized because of COVID, respiratory issues, car accidents.
- 9:58We lift up in prayer a friend of our family's named Cynthia,
- 10:01who had an accident recently. We lift her up in prayer.
- 10:05We pray for good fortune and new beginnings.
- 10:09As yesterday, my father received, not received, went and purchased a new vehicle.
- 10:15And we thank you, Lord, for allowing my aunt to be here to help assist him in
- 10:22that and to allow him the opportunity to feel good in his decisions.
- 10:28And finally, Lord, we ask you
- 10:29to continue to watch over us as we pray for our good friends like Carol.
- 10:36And all of our friends that have been there for her as her good and beautiful
- 10:40husband, Dennis, went on to be with the Lord. We continue to lift them up in prayer.
- 10:45We pray for Dr. E who lost his,
- 10:48friend. We pray for him and Denise, his wife, who lost their pet dog, a great Dane.
- 10:55We ask you to give them healing mercies. We pray for those that are traveling in this cold weather.
- 11:01And we ask you, Lord, to continue to watch over good and amazing people like
- 11:06Vic, who have patience to cut hair for the little three-year-old Noah,
- 11:10but who has the spiritual guidance and amazing amazing resilience and has a
- 11:16personal testimony that I hope and pray will come on to this show and share
- 11:20with you what God has done in his life.
- 11:22But we also lift him up as he seeks out further education with the Bible and ministry.
- 11:29I will help and assist in that as well.
- 11:32And finally, we pray for all of you, the Have Faith Let It Begin family,
- 11:37people like Nick and Diane.
- 11:40We pray for Yesenia and Mansa.
- 11:43For Dylan, we lift up in prayer Sigfredo, Selenia, Savannah.
- 11:49We pray for Chip and Addison.
- 11:51We continue to pray for Brian, for John and Liz, and lift up John,
- 11:56who had a fire in his apartment and now is displaced into a hotel until that gets better.
- 12:03We pray these words as we pray for Dennis and Dorothy, Eloise,
- 12:09for Joe and Pastor Jim and our churches.
- 12:13We thank you, Lord, as we pray the words that you taught us.
- 12:17Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
- 12:21Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
- 12:27Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.
- 12:34Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
- 12:38For yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever and ever.
- 12:45God be with you. May he shine his light upon you and grant each and every single
- 12:49one of you peace on earth.
- 12:51And never forget, have faith, let it begin. Have a blessed day.
- 12:57God loves you. God believes in you. God trusts you. And God will never,
- 13:02ever leave your side. See you tomorrow.
