Latest / V / LOL: Democrats Declare War on Comedy (Ep.69)
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Good morning and welcome to Bongino Report Early Edition. I'm
- 0:03Speaker 1: your host, Evita. The University of Michigan declares that the
- 0:06Speaker 1: Latin language is racist. Diddy is accused of drugging and
- 0:10Speaker 1: raping a 13-year-old girl. Biden honors the late Selena Quintanilla,
- 0:16Speaker 1: who I don't believe would be a Biden or a
- 0:18Speaker 1: Kamala supporter. Daniel Penny's trial kicked off yesterday, and we're
- 0:22Speaker 1: going to discuss why many men are no longer heroic.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Tim Walz is guilty of appropriating my culture— The media
- 0:31Speaker 1: flips out over AI Trump memes and Kamala denounces comedy.
- 0:35Speaker 1: All this on Bongina Report, early edition. We have a
- 0:50Speaker 1: lot of serious stories to cover today. We really do.
- 0:54Speaker 1: But I want to start out with some campus insanity.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Columbia University is offering a course titled A Trans History
- 1:03Speaker 1: of the United States. And this class covers the diversity
- 1:07Speaker 1: of gendered experiences across the history of the United States
- 1:11Speaker 1: and aims to offer an in-depth survey of the history
- 1:14Speaker 1: of trans and gender nonconforming experiences across the history of
- 1:19Speaker 1: the United States. And crazy as that all sounds, It's
- 1:23Speaker 1: actually pretty standard for the university system. There's a lot
- 1:26Speaker 1: of classes like that. What I think is interesting is
- 1:29Speaker 1: the class instructor, Nikita Shepard, who goes by they-them pronouns,
- 1:35Speaker 1: is currently working on a doctoral dissertation that documents a
- 1:40Speaker 1: political history of the public bathroom in modern America. And
- 1:44Speaker 1: this guy's past work includes research on radical fairies, which
- 1:50Speaker 1: is a group That includes drag queens, leather folk, political activists, witches,
- 1:56Speaker 1: and magicians who get together to do drag, make love,
- 2:00Speaker 1: dance naked, cry, sing, laugh, argue, sew, commit heresies, and
- 2:06Speaker 1: cover each other with mud. It's really just absurd. It's lunacy.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Drop a comment if you'd take this person's class or
- 2:15Speaker 1: if you would pay to have your kids take this
- 2:18Speaker 1: person's class.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Meanwhile.
- 2:20Speaker 1: The University of Michigan has warned that using Latin names
- 2:24Speaker 1: for plants may be racist because using their proper names
- 2:28Speaker 1: would increase the influence of colonial power structures. And at
- 2:32Speaker 1: one point, as I share both of these stories with you,
- 2:36Speaker 1: you just need to laugh at these people. Yes, it's
- 2:39Speaker 1: a slap in the face to Western civilization. Latin was
- 2:42Speaker 1: the medium. of religious, legal, and intellectual discourse and actually
- 2:47Speaker 1: unified the Christian West and preserved classical knowledge throughout the
- 2:52Speaker 1: middle ages. And the university system itself was a Christian
- 2:55Speaker 1: institution aimed at seeking truth. But these people are so
- 3:01Speaker 1: absurd that I think some of the best ways to
- 3:04Speaker 1: refute them is to shame them through laughter. Laugh at
- 3:09Speaker 1: their idiocy. Don't get mad. Don't get defensive. Yes, what
- 3:14Speaker 1: university leftists are doing is culturally poisonous. It is offensive.
- 3:19Speaker 1: But if you really want to discredit them, make fun
- 3:21Speaker 1: of them. And we're going to talk about that a
- 3:23Speaker 1: lot today, especially toward the end of the show. But first,
- 3:26Speaker 1: we have a quick break. When we have ads, it
- 3:30Speaker 1: means that these are patriotic companies. These are people who
- 3:33Speaker 1: are willing to work with us despite there being an
- 3:36Speaker 1: entire structure aimed against right-wing media, against alternative media. So
- 3:41Speaker 1: Anybody that works with us, that sponsors this show, that
- 3:44Speaker 1: keeps it free, big shout out to them because they
- 3:48Speaker 1: are really going against the advertising grain. I have a
- 3:52Speaker 1: Diddy update for you guys. Many of you know Sean P.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Diddy Combs has been arrested on numerous charges related to
- 3:58Speaker 1: this really salacious Hollywood sex scandal. And he has now
- 4:02Speaker 1: been accused of allegedly drugging and raping a 13-year-old girl
- 4:08Speaker 1: as too unnamed celebrities joined in at a VMAs after
- 4:12Speaker 1: party in New York City two decades ago, according to
- 4:17Speaker 1: this new wave of lawsuits. And per court documents, the
- 4:21Speaker 1: Jane Doe was looking for a place to rest and
- 4:24Speaker 1: entered what she believed to be an empty bedroom so
- 4:27Speaker 1: she could lie down for a moment. And then soon afterward, Combs,
- 4:30Speaker 1: along with a male and female celebrity, entered the room
- 4:34Speaker 1: And Combs aggressively approached the plaintiff with a crazed, a
- 4:38Speaker 1: purported crazed look in his eyes, grabbed her and said,
- 4:42Speaker 1: you are ready to party. The woman alleges that she
- 4:45Speaker 1: was pinned down and raped by Combs. And the male
- 4:49Speaker 1: celebrity joined in while the unnamed female celebrity watched. And
- 4:57Speaker 1: this plaintiff claims that Combs tried to force her to
- 5:00Speaker 1: perform oral sex, but she fought him off, hitting him
- 5:03Speaker 1: in the neck. She also claims that she was forced
- 5:05Speaker 1: to sign a nondisclosure agreement, preventing her from talking about
- 5:09Speaker 1: what she saw at this celebrity-filled party for a really
- 5:12Speaker 1: long time. My question is, and I mean, there's going
- 5:17Speaker 1: to be a lot of allegations. There already are coming
- 5:19Speaker 1: out about Diddy. But who are the other celebrities? Who
- 5:23Speaker 1: else partook? We have a lot of evidence. I mean,
- 5:26Speaker 1: it's not even evidence. We just know that a lot
- 5:29Speaker 1: of people attended these Diddy parties. We've discussed some of them.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Jennifer Lopez, of course, was Diddy's ex-girlfriend. There were some
- 5:37Speaker 1: others who we know were very close to him. Usher,
- 5:40Speaker 1: we're going to talk about him later. But who are
- 5:44Speaker 1: these people? Why are they not being named in these lawsuits?
- 5:47Speaker 1: Can we know who they are? It's a massive scandal
- 5:51Speaker 1: that's unfolding. And largely, everybody's been pretty protected other than
- 5:55Speaker 1: Diddy so far. And interestingly, a lot of the people
- 6:00Speaker 1: who have connections to Diddy are endorsing Kamala. And that's
- 6:03Speaker 1: why I want to draw your attention, like I said,
- 6:04Speaker 1: to Diddy's close friend, Usher. Here is Usher discussing the
- 6:09Speaker 1: election last month in just a few days before Diddy
- 6:14Speaker 1: was arrested. Take a listen.
- 6:17Speaker 3: In this emergency that we're in, I think that the
- 6:19Speaker 3: Who's artists just come out and speak for Kamala against
- 6:23Speaker 3: Donald Trump because he is an existential threat to the country.
- 6:26Speaker 2: What do you say to that?
- 6:27Speaker 3: You know what?
- 6:28Speaker 2: I don't get too deep into politics. I didn't get
- 6:30Speaker 2: a chance to watch the debate last night. I obviously
- 6:32Speaker 2: have been watching like everybody else. I think voting is
- 6:36Speaker 2: an individual choice. I think that.
- 6:39Speaker 4: You're right.
- 6:40Speaker 2: You have to look at the reality of the country
- 6:42Speaker 2: that we are and the country that we want to
- 6:45Speaker 2: be and find the candidate that you feel both are
- 6:50Speaker 2: who fits the category of where we want to be.
- 6:53Speaker 2: And that's it. And that's what you vote based off
- 6:55Speaker 2: of who you highlight and how you choose to highlight
- 7:00Speaker 2: it on whatever platform you have is your prerogative.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Yes. Yeah. So. It's a pretty diplomatic opinion that he gave,
- 7:12Speaker 1: not pretty apolitical, no real endorsement. I want you to
- 7:17Speaker 1: compare that sentiment to Diddy just this week.
- 7:21Speaker 5: I love you more, but I love Kamala Harris even more.
- 7:30Speaker 5: I want her to be our next president of the
- 7:33Speaker 5: United States.
- 7:36Speaker 1: That's a pretty stark contrast. A lot of powerful Democrat-supporting
- 7:42Speaker 1: celebrities are connected to Diddy. And it's pretty fascinating that
- 7:48Speaker 1: Usher changed his tune so dramatically after Diddy's arrest. Alex
- 7:53Speaker 1: Clark suggests that the reason Usher said he didn't want
- 7:56Speaker 1: to endorse anyone and is now endorsing Kamala is because
- 7:59Speaker 1: Kamala is promising to sweep it all under the rug.
- 8:02Speaker 1: If Kamala wins, we will never know the names involved
- 8:06Speaker 1: in the Diddy case. And I don't know if that's true.
- 8:09Speaker 1: A lot of people are suggesting this. I want to
- 8:12Speaker 1: hear from all of you. Drop a comment. Tell me
- 8:15Speaker 1: what you think. Is Usher endorsing Kamala out of self-preservation?
- 8:20Speaker 1: Is she going to protect the people who are involved
- 8:22Speaker 1: in this? those names were not all released. Epstein died
- 8:33Speaker 1: during the Trump admin itself. So I'm not convinced that
- 8:39Speaker 1: Kamala is going to fully protect them, especially if there
- 8:42Speaker 1: are political figures involved in this. And you guys know
- 8:44Speaker 1: that the Obamas have had lots of interactions with Diddy,
- 8:48Speaker 1: but I would love to hear what all of you think.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Is there something to this? Speaking of celebrities, Back in
- 8:55Speaker 1: the 90s, Selena Quintanilla, a Mexican-American singer known as now
- 9:00Speaker 1: the queen of Tejano music, she was skyrocketing to fame.
- 9:05Speaker 1: And it was really, I think, so traumatizing for a
- 9:11Speaker 1: lot of people that she tragically died in 2023. She
- 9:16Speaker 1: was murdered. She died when she was 23, back in 1995,
- 9:21Speaker 1: because she was murdered by the president of her fan club,
- 9:24Speaker 1: And she was really just at the height of her fame.
- 9:28Speaker 1: She was becoming somebody known not just in the Spanish-speaking
- 9:32Speaker 1: music industry, but also English-language music. And she still is
- 9:37Speaker 1: really a music icon, an American music icon, especially among
- 9:42Speaker 1: Hispanic Americans. And if you're Hispanic, you know exactly who
- 9:45Speaker 1: she is. Maybe you watched the biopic where Jennifer Lopez
- 9:48Speaker 1: played Selena. Jennifer Lopez, again, funny enough, was... was actually
- 9:53Speaker 1: the ex-girlfriend of Diddy and is wrapped up in this
- 9:56Speaker 1: celebrity scandal. But Selena is not wrapped up in it
- 9:59Speaker 1: at all. and she is still an icon, and we
- 10:01Speaker 1: love her. This is a clip of one of Selena's performances,
- 10:04Speaker 1: if you guys have never heard her perform. So she
- 10:24Speaker 1: was a very, very talented, very talented woman. I suggest
- 10:27Speaker 1: you guys all look up her music. Most of her
- 10:29Speaker 1: songs are in Spanish, but she does have some English
- 10:31Speaker 1: language songs as well. Really amazing woman. Now, last night,
- 10:35Speaker 1: Joe Biden awarded Selena with the National Medal of Arts.
- 10:40Speaker 1: And interestingly enough, Like many other Hispanic Americans today, I'm
- 10:44Speaker 1: not so sure that Selena would be a Biden-Kamala supporter.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Here's why.
- 10:53Speaker 2: You're a very, very good role model.
- 10:55Speaker 3: And one of the problems with.
- 10:58Speaker 5: The Hispanic community, especially the teenagers, the girls, is teen pregnancy.
- 11:04Speaker 3: What do you have to say?
- 11:05Speaker 2: I mean, everybody gets into situations that it's hard.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Do we not have the whole video? Okay, that's okay.
- 11:17Speaker 1: So in this video, Selena, and you can actually go
- 11:19Speaker 1: to my Twitter account, and I have the full thing
- 11:22Speaker 1: up on there. But Selena essentially is discussing how she
- 11:30Speaker 1: thinks that to prevent teen pregnancy, adults shouldn't be handing
- 11:33Speaker 1: out contraceptives. They should just tell their kids don't have
- 11:36Speaker 1: sex before marriage. And she also comes out as anti-abortion.
- 11:40Speaker 1: She thinks that it's a terrible thing. And it's a
- 11:43Speaker 1: really striking clip because you never hear celebrities talk like
- 11:46Speaker 1: that anymore, especially A-list female celebrities. They're all coming out
- 11:51Speaker 1: and shilling for Kamala because she's going to protect their
- 11:54Speaker 1: right to kill unborn children. And Selena was not like
- 11:57Speaker 1: that at all. And I think just the takeaway here
- 12:00Speaker 1: is that if she were alive today, at the very least,
- 12:03Speaker 1: maybe she's not a Trump supporter. I mean, who knows
- 12:06Speaker 1: what Selena would be like. But Certainly, given that soundbite,
- 12:10Speaker 1: she would not have supported the Biden-Kamala death cult, nor
- 12:14Speaker 1: would she have supported Kamala's denunciation of God. We're going
- 12:18Speaker 1: to switch gears here because I want to talk about
- 12:20Speaker 1: Daniel Penny and this case that kicked off yesterday. Daniel Penny,
- 12:24Speaker 1: of course, is a refresher. He choked and murdered an
- 12:27Speaker 1: innocent black homeless man in a bout of racial hatred
- 12:31Speaker 1: while riding the New York subway. Now, actually, that's what
- 12:35Speaker 1: the media wants you to believe.
- 12:36Speaker 3: Actually, in reality.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Daniel and two other men, including a black man, protected
- 12:40Speaker 1: those around them from a homeless black man named Jordan Neely,
- 12:44Speaker 1: who was threatening and getting violent with New York City
- 12:46Speaker 1: subway passengers. What the media also doesn't like to report
- 12:50Speaker 1: on is that Neely suffered from severe untreated mental illness,
- 12:55Speaker 1: and he had a history of violence and drug abuse.
- 12:58Speaker 1: He had been arrested more than 40 times, most recently
- 13:01Speaker 1: for punching a 67-year-old woman in a subway station. Before
- 13:06Speaker 1: his death, a judge cut Neely's prison sentence short to
- 13:08Speaker 1: enroll him for a minimum of 15 months in a
- 13:11Speaker 1: treatment program, which he walked away from in less than
- 13:14Speaker 1: two weeks. Now, authorities did not attempt to locate Neely,
- 13:18Speaker 1: but there was an open warrant out for his arrest.
- 13:20Speaker 1: So a broken system left a violent, troubled man loose
- 13:25Speaker 1: in New York City to terrorize regular law-abiding citizens. And
- 13:30Speaker 1: Daniel Penny protected innocent Americans from Neely, and now Penny
- 13:34Speaker 1: faces 20 years in prison. Most notably, he has not
- 13:39Speaker 1: been charged with a hate crime. The prosecution couldn't find
- 13:43Speaker 1: any evidence that he was motivated by racism, but that
- 13:44Speaker 1: hasn't stopped the media from making this a racial story.
- 13:48Speaker 1: And I also think as we reflect on this case,
- 13:52Speaker 1: as the trial moves forward, there are a lot of
- 13:56Speaker 1: left-wing women who do not understand the consequences of the
- 14:01Speaker 1: persecution of Daniel Penny, what it will do culturally, what
- 14:06Speaker 1: it has done already, to our society. Two days ago,
- 14:11Speaker 1: a left-wing woman posted a now-viral tweet that reads, This
- 14:16Speaker 1: man on the subway was repeatedly harassing a woman, being disgusting,
- 14:21Speaker 1: invading her space, etc. Tell me the F why me
- 14:25Speaker 1: and the other women around tried to intervene and tell
- 14:28Speaker 1: him off, but all the young fit guys around just
- 14:31Speaker 1: stood silent and looked at the ground. And the answer
- 14:34Speaker 1: is this. It's Daniel Penny. Soft on crime, progressive cities
- 14:42Speaker 1: leave regular citizens vulnerable and punishes and demonizes men who intervene.
- 14:50Speaker 1: We can't have it both ways. Either as women, we
- 14:55Speaker 1: award street heroes or we punish them and then we
- 14:58Speaker 1: suffer the consequences. The young Bit guys don't step in
- 15:03Speaker 1: and protect people because they're afraid they'll be punished for it.
- 15:07Speaker 1: Like Daniel Penny. All right, moving on. I need your help.
- 15:12Speaker 1: I need to know who I should call to report
- 15:16Speaker 1: cultural appropriation violations because Tim Walsh is guilty to the
- 15:22Speaker 1: max of cultural appropriation. Here is Tim Walsh on The
- 15:26Speaker 1: View yesterday.
- 15:28Speaker 5: One thing we have.
- 15:28Speaker 1: To do is, we played that before about President Obama
- 15:31Speaker 1: talking about all that your shirt had been through.
- 15:34Speaker 2: And so we wanted to help you out.
- 15:36Speaker 3: We know your flannel.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Had been through some stuff.
- 15:39Speaker 3: So we've got The View.
- 15:43Speaker 5: And a dad in class.
- 15:46Speaker 2: That's the single greatest thing I've ever gotten.
- 15:48Speaker 1: So that's for you. We're good with that, Mikey. Now,
- 15:54Speaker 1: Tim Walz is no lumberjack, and he wears a lumberjack
- 15:57Speaker 1: plaid a lot in this faux Midwestern persona that he's
- 16:02Speaker 1: trying to put out to the public. And I know
- 16:05Speaker 1: that Tim Walz is not a lumberjack because my dad
- 16:07Speaker 1: is a lumberjack. My dad competed in lumberjack sports his
- 16:10Speaker 1: whole life. I did as well. I was never as
- 16:12Speaker 1: good as him. But he actually competed part-time in lumberjack
- 16:16Speaker 1: sports to support our family when I was little. He
- 16:19Speaker 1: is a world champion speed climber. Speed climbing is when
- 16:22Speaker 1: you use spurs and a rope to race up a
- 16:25Speaker 1: tree and then free fall to the bottom. Whoever gets
- 16:28Speaker 1: to the bottom first wins. Here is my dad winning
- 16:31Speaker 1: the 90-foot lumberjack speed climb.
- 16:34Speaker 4: You must go!
- 16:40Speaker 1: All right! And this is it.
- 16:41Speaker 3: The dog is on it.
- 16:42Speaker 5: The dog gets that 30-foot mark first.
- 16:45Speaker 3: He's at the 6-foot, 45, and 60-foot mark first.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Now, he and my dad does other things too, right?
- 17:05Speaker 1: He can log roll. I can log roll as well.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Does the axe throwing, the chopping, the sawing. He can
- 17:10Speaker 1: do it all. He can make little chairs out of
- 17:13Speaker 1: a chainsaw, like with a chainsaw. So very impressive. He's
- 17:17Speaker 1: a full-fledged Wisconsin-bred lumberjack. And Tim Walz, he's a fake lumberjack.
- 17:24Speaker 1: The guy is a CCP lover who puts tampons in
- 17:27Speaker 1: the boys' bathroom. He actually is a fraud through and through.
- 17:30Speaker 1: He doesn't share any Midwestern values. He's not even Midwestern nice.
- 17:35Speaker 1: And it showed on The View yesterday when he actually
- 17:38Speaker 1: got angry discussing how Trump dared to go to a
- 17:42Speaker 1: McDonald's and serve up some fries. Take a listen.
- 17:45Speaker 2: She actually worked in a McDonald's.
- 17:47Speaker 3: She didn't go and pander and disrespect McDonald's workers by
- 17:51Speaker 3: standing there in your red tie and take a picture.
- 17:55Speaker 1: I'm really confused. How did Trump disrespect McDonald's workers? Can
- 18:01Speaker 1: someone please drop a comment and explain this to me?
- 18:04Speaker 1: Because I don't understand how it's disrespectful. By the way,
- 18:07Speaker 1: this is McDonald's in Minneapolis under Tim Walz's governorship. If
- 18:13Speaker 1: you're listening... It's in flames from the BLM rioting, which
- 18:18Speaker 1: Tim Walz did, I mean, allowed because he refused to
- 18:22Speaker 1: send National Guard in time to protect the public. He
- 18:25Speaker 1: had a precinct fully abandoned. I'm going to take a
- 18:30Speaker 1: shot in the dark here and guess that McDonald's employees
- 18:34Speaker 1: would take Trump dropping in for a day to work
- 18:39Speaker 1: at their place over their place of work burning to
- 18:42Speaker 1: the ground. It's just a guess, just a guess. Comment
- 18:45Speaker 1: if you think I'm wrong about this, but I think
- 18:47Speaker 1: they'd prefer Donald Trump dropping by over their McDonald's burning
- 18:51Speaker 1: to the ground. Now, Tim Walz isn't the only one
- 18:54Speaker 1: mad about Trump's McDonald's visit. The media is angry too.
- 18:58Speaker 1: And this is just more evidence that however much you
- 19:00Speaker 1: hate the media, it is not enough. Newsweek is now
- 19:03Speaker 1: trying to destroy the local McDonald's that hosted Trump over
- 19:06Speaker 1: the weekend, writing in an article, an inspection report for
- 19:09Speaker 1: the McDonald's restaurant in Pennsylvania cited employees not having clean
- 19:13Speaker 1: hands and properly washed. And do not be mistaken, guys,
- 19:20Speaker 1: this is a punishment. We're daring to host the former
- 19:24Speaker 1: president and current Republican nominee for president. The media is
- 19:27Speaker 1: trying to run the McDonald's out of business. What did
- 19:31Speaker 1: I tell you guys yesterday? It's not about the working class.
- 19:35Speaker 1: The authoritarian left could care less about the well-being and
- 19:38Speaker 1: prosperity of normal Americans. It's all a front. It's about
- 19:42Speaker 1: political domination and narrative control. And they'll destroy a local
- 19:46Speaker 1: business who dares get in their way out of sheer revenge.
- 19:50Speaker 1: It's savage, really. Newsweek has also essentially declared war on
- 19:56Speaker 1: pro-Trump memery. This is a real article from Newsweek. Donald
- 20:00Speaker 1: Trump has shared what is likely an AI-generated image on
- 20:04Speaker 1: his true social account, showing him as a player for
- 20:06Speaker 1: the Pittsburgh Steelers. Here is the deeply misleading tweet in question. Yes,
- 20:14Speaker 1: he is jacked in that tweet. It's so silly. Newsweek,
- 20:19Speaker 1: it's ridiculous. Molly Hemingway tweeted in response, where would we
- 20:22Speaker 1: be without corporate media telling us that Donald Trump is
- 20:25Speaker 1: not an actual McDonald's employee and is not currently rostered
- 20:29Speaker 1: with the Pittsburgh Steelers? And a lot of people have
- 20:32Speaker 1: responded by generating the most absurd, over-the-top, hilarious tweets Trump memes, Michael,
- 20:38Speaker 1: you can, you can throw a few of them up there.
- 20:40Speaker 1: They're pretty awesome. And the left is, is really threatened
- 20:46Speaker 1: by our ability to joke because humor scares them. Here
- 20:52Speaker 1: is Kamala Harris angry that people dare to think Trump
- 20:57Speaker 1: is funny.
- 20:57Speaker 4: In many, many ways, Donald Trump is an unserious man.
- 21:03Speaker 4: But the consequences of him being president of the United
- 21:06Speaker 4: States are brutally serious. There are things that he says
- 21:12Speaker 4: that will be the subject of skits.
- 21:15Speaker 5: And laughter and jokes.
- 21:19Speaker 1: I don't know about you guys, but Joyful Kamala, she
- 21:21Speaker 1: really seems like a killjoy. She's angry, people are laughing.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Kamala represents the political elite. We discussed yesterday that Democrat
- 21:30Speaker 1: voters own 70% of the wealth in this country. That's
- 21:33Speaker 1: not unrelated to the left's fear of laughter. These are
- 21:37Speaker 1: just a couple of headlines I want to share with
- 21:39Speaker 1: you guys. CNN, pay attention to the far right's use
- 21:43Speaker 1: of memes to stir extremism. And from the Federalist, new
- 21:48Speaker 1: EU alert. Having a sense of humor is proof you
- 21:51Speaker 1: might be a far right terrorist. Not only is this
- 21:55Speaker 1: a joyless movement, but it's also one that makes up
- 22:01Speaker 1: the ruling class. The people in academia, the media, the
- 22:04Speaker 1: permanent state, Wall Street, these are people who think they
- 22:07Speaker 1: own the rest of us, but they also fear the people.
- 22:11Speaker 1: This is why the same group of people want to
- 22:13Speaker 1: control what we see on the internet. They tell us
- 22:16Speaker 1: we're too stupid to decipher fact from fiction, AI memes
- 22:19Speaker 1: of Trump as a Steelers player from reality. So they
- 22:24Speaker 1: call for our censorship and control. The government and the
- 22:27Speaker 1: media use fear, propaganda, and strict control of information to
- 22:31Speaker 1: suppress dissent. This is textbook. But humor, especially satire, exposes
- 22:36Speaker 1: their hypocrisy, corruption, and absurdity. Because comedians, they have a
- 22:41Speaker 1: special power. They can slip the truth into jokes and
- 22:45Speaker 1: reach the masses in a way that's really difficult to censor.
- 22:48Speaker 1: And to the regime, this is dangerous. Mocking power is
- 22:52Speaker 1: the first step toward the populace losing respect for the
- 22:55Speaker 1: regime and ultimately to revolt. So being made a mockery
- 23:00Speaker 1: by the masses is terrifying to an authoritarian like Kamala
- 23:03Speaker 1: Harris and anyone who makes up the ruling class. So
- 23:07Speaker 1: I guess the message is just to keep laughing. It's
- 23:10Speaker 1: not only fun, but a powerful tool of resistance. And
- 23:14Speaker 1: that is all I have for you guys today. If

- 23:30Speaker 3: I think a lot of people are underestimating the Trump
- 23:33Speaker 3: effect in this midterm. You've heard it yourself. Act like
- 23:36Speaker 3: I'm on the ballot. Why is he saying that? You
- 23:39Speaker 3: think he doesn't know what he's doing? That is the
- 23:42Speaker 3: X factor. Folks, elections are a math issue.
- 23:46Speaker 4: That is it.
- 23:46Speaker 3: This is not a football game. If you vote, we
- 23:50Speaker 3: will win. It is not complicated.
